We were looking for a few things that only walmart carries so while in plattsburgh, NY we stopped. We found what we needed but with the supply chain issues that we are dealing with now there were many areas that had empty shelves.
I found a used syringe in the parking lot once. So probably a good idea to not wear sandals.
Always busy and some of the employees are rude. But then some are really helpful. Take the good with the bad.
Not a lot of variety as far as food options, which arent the best tasting. The store options are also limited but good enough to pass time a spend a little money.
The layout of the parking lot exits/entrances are very odd and maze like. Plus that spot where theres a stop sign that only applies to traffic going straight towards Michaels but does not apply to those turning right out of the complex towards Cornelia Street is very confusing and bound to cause an accident one of these days.
Basically can get everything.. from Walmart to Ulta theres so many things
I went to Walmart and this one was pretty good. They atleast have bags you can buy and didnt lock up all the family planning goods like some stores do. I appreciate this. Because honestly I met a girl when I was picking up a test when she needed a plan b and she almost walked away because she was embarrassed to have alot of people there to witness her pick out what she needed. So again, thank you plattsburgh Walmart for respecting reproductive rights.

Its alright for the most part, the parking can be horrendous during the Christmas season. Also no one knows how to follow the right of way, can sometimes be crowded.

Traffic going in and out is horrible. They need to do a redesign to eliminate the traffic issues.
Parking is a little troublesome, but other than that you have multiple options for shopping. Theres a Walmart, Sams club, TJ max, Petsmart, Michels, Home Goods, and a few others.

Went to Walmart for a new cell phone. The associate was extremely helpful in locating exactly what I described and checked stock twice to help me. It was an easy and pleasant experience. I appreciate the fact he didnt push his choice in phones on me and let me get what I wanted. In and out on 20 minutes. Great job this time around. The rest of the store was as usual disheveled and ppl were rude. This is an extremely busy store but they cant keep up with shelf restocking.

On rt 3 - Cornelia...update 6/29 2022. Walmart shelves are hit or miss available, Sams no problem. Now. Price chopper no problem. Sams gas is best price. For gas Ive seen. Frozen yogurts at Sams snack bar best price in town at $1
So many managers just walking around with Thier heads up their butts. To many chiefs not nearly enough indians.
Only stopped at the Verizon store and first time there.List and diversity of stores is very good! Will go back again when ready to drive 160 mile round trip from home!
Really sad on how high the prices have increased and the products have gotten smaller in size also the lack of things not on the shelves or in the coolers but overall Walmart is still cheaper than some of the other stores. Now Im gonna have to find a way to get back there to get things that I needed and they didnt have at that time but will probably call to make sure they have the products in before I get there.😊☺️😊☺️😊

Ive shopped at Wal-Mart for years. They have pretty much everything I need there and prices are very reasonable. Plus its clean, well lit, and the associates are respectful and professional.
Dirty inside. Rude customers and workers. They Ethier ignore you or are rude. Shelfs never stocked. Staff stand around combining about their jobs right in front of you.
Looks like a good place if the right store that you need is available. Its clean and well kept, its a shopping center.

Visited consumer square only to shop at petsmart .. a member of household usually goes weekly to pick up crickets for our gecko and whatever else we need for kitties..I had taken a break and had the other person go for a while.. when covid restrictions were peaked.. all stores were doing their mandated protocols but petsmart absolutely drove me nuts with it... over the top .. and that was a favorite store of mine prev... finally went back again this week.. everyone friendly and delightful and they even had crickets in stock...
Great as usual always find what Im looking for just dont like the cheap bags that you have to buy and arent big enough to hold anything

Only here to visit petsmart... as per pre covid norm.. employees friendly and helpful .. variety of choices food etc ..and they did have a supply of crickets for our gecko.
Today is the first time I have ever gone to the store ulta beauty and as soon as I walked in the door there was a girl right there asking if I needed help to find anything and showed me right where I needed to go and told me what each item was and how other customers thought about them and how well they worked because she had used most herself it is one of the most inviting stores I have ever been and very clean you can tell they take pride in their jobs it takes a lot to impress me and I was truly impressed by the store and the staff
The dock area is tight. Trying to get out is hard. People are to much in a hurry.
Not sure what kind of sadist designed the parking and traffic patterns here, but other than that its a good cluster of retail options.

Many stores to choose from - Walmart, Sams club, Ulta beauty, Petsmart, Michaels, staples, Verizon - I could go on and on. When youre done shopping theres even a Buffalo Wild Wings if youre hungry
Went into the place with a pre-placed order online, they couldnt find my order, said they would hurry up and do it for me, then when I finally got everything, the calzone was cold, and the chicken tenders that I ordered were so overcooked I couldnt even eat them.
Petsmart is a great place, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Had my dog trained there, great trainer to work with. Place is always clean when I go in, usually have what I am looking for at the time too.
Well... I mean. This place is the only reason why Im not blind. The staff are friendly and gentle with me, especially for when I was putting in contacts for the first time. The glasses selection is really cute and the place is very clean. Anyone with a sensitive child would have a much easier time here than at the other eye doctor down town Plattsburgh.
Tiffany, the new owner is doing a fantastic job. Beds are Always hot and clean. I love this place.

Okay little mall. I was visiting town from CT and decided to stop one night as I was bored. The Gandor Outdoors was great. There was a small bookstore which was good. The Target was a small, but nice location. It was a good way to spend an hour or so.
Very nice shopping area with lots of retail stores and restaurants to choose from. Usually very busy and traveling in & out can be a little congested. So come with some patients because it is worth the effort. Fun times shopping and eating everybody!
They need to put their stockers to work , place was picked clean ,couldnt find a damned thing its like stockers were on strike 3 weeks in a row !

Good atmosphere for a small town. Mall is pretty cool to walk around and spend about a good few hours in. Starts to get busy with people on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which is great for a small town.
Im Canadian and go her 3-4 times per year. I go buy everything they dont have in groceries stores in Canada. A few good stores as well. No complaints other than wanting to see a little more American fast food chains.

Best Wal-Mart ever! I drive down from Canada just to go there. Some of the staff can be a little abrasive, but, I would blame their supervisors for that. I was going to use the D word but you get my drift.
It appeas the closer we get to the holidays, or maybe its just a bad weather day, but Sunday is not a-day for local shoppers. I only went to one store, decided I would wait to shop during the week.
The variety of stores that they have here is great but driving thru the plaza feels like youre driving on main street in Plattsburgh. cars flying into the entrance of the plaza and good luck trying to wait for somebody to wave you through when youre at the four-way with everyone at a stop sign. Its literally everybody in a rush and no one caring whos next wether you waited there first or not

Great shopping at truly incredible prices. I went to Sams club and filled up at their gas bar at $2,75 per US Gal. It worked out at 94,4 cents per litre.Calculation I used was 1 US gal = 3,785 litres multiplier of 1,30 to convert from US dollar to Canadian dollar. So 2,75 / 3,785 = 0,7265521 US cents per litre. Take 0,7265521 * 1,30 = 0,944 Cdn cents per litre. Hope this helps!
These people are wonderful I am from Canada and broke my glasses while on a trip. They could not fix them but spent over an hour looking for frames they could put my lenses in without having to adjust them the price was extremely reasonable
If it had much more stores it would be enjoyable to spend time there. But they need to stop with the high cost of rent. Thats why so many businesses dont last.

Yuck! A parking lot for campers and trailers using Walmart parking lots. The worst dirtiest Walmart ever. Worst GNC. Worst Panera Bread.Good Verizon shoppe.Avoid this center.Stay very Letter driving in Walmarts lot. People drive in total disregard of others and laws.Home Goods best store.
You will basically just come here for the Walmart. I got lucky and found some decent shoes. This is a handy place if you have a reason to go here, but its not so great for browsing or window shopping.
This was a great place to visit with a 6yo. The Spirit of Halloween store was a lot of fun and plenty of laughs. Animatronics and incredible costumes for one of the best holidays of the year. Then there was the bouncy house room, where the clerk charged too much for 25 minutes of playtime, but my nephew was drenched and sparkling after having tried every air filled jump himself, so it was definitely worth it! Not to mention we didnt have to worry about deer ticks or clouds of midges :)
Basic mall with all the amenities. We stopped by Walmart to pick up a few things before heading home. The Walmart was typical, the staff was helpful and friendly. More importantly everything on our list was on the shelf.
Used the Walmart pickup service for the first time very convenient especially when the item is heavy.
Staff works really hard and are very helpful especially if your getting glasses for the first time. Laurie was awesome.
It was my first time here and I can say that I really had a great time coming here and any time I will be in the area I will make sure to make a quick stop and look around and walk around. Its very family oriented and me and my family really enjoyed ourselves.
I purchased my Guess glasses from here, about 6yrs ago. Yes, they have all the name brands you like. Buying next pair soon.

The mall is definitely being impacted by the changing economy as several big box stores are shutting their doors. You can still find a few stores with great deals but the future of this place may be numbered.
Subway was horrible. Dirty tables and floors, drink counters was sticky and messy. I wont eat at that sub way again if the board of health every step foot in that store , it wouldnt be nice for that store
Parking lot gets over crowded because the shopping center allows visitors to park there motor homes overnite? The other day one of them hit my cars front bumper n left without contact info! Sams club has parking lot video however we couldnt see the lic plate numbers.
Lots for nice places to shop and restaurants to eat at. Its also the #1 camping destination for Canadians on vacation who dont want to pay for a camp site for their RV.
This is it. The majority of all your shopping will be here. The mall and Is down the road and if hate Wal Mart their is a Kmart on the next block. So this here is the hub of small town Plattsburgh. Good place to go-to college

There to visit PETSMART which I love! There were 6 I think very sweet kitties whos cages were getting cleaned. After falling in love with all..bought what I came for ...high quality cat food. I also picked up some litter and treats and also found food flavored lysine...the doc had recommended for one of my kitties who has occasional bouts wheezing. Love this place!More recently visited Walmart despite my general opinion of store (customers rude and pushy, very aggressive and just too many) .We did go this week however since we needed a variety of food items, decorations etc. The cashier was very sweet..we offered her our sympathy at having to deal with such miserable people. I usually have no problem with walmart employees...on this day however..there were 2 girls working together in deli. The one girl looked familiar..dk blonde hair pulled back, glasses, young, overweight. She made some unkind remarks about me (my sister was with me and viewed the exchange..even pointing at me) . I certainly wont be purchasing from THAT DELI...who know what they would do to food. Very unprofessional.

You can get pretty much anything you need down here. Theres a Wal-Mart, petsmart, Sams, Michaels, Staples, GNC, Panera, all kinds of things. Too bad the parking lot is a nightmare.

Worst eye dr ive been too. They literally lost their dr....and couldnt give me a date as to when theyd have a new one. Idk how u run an office without a dr. I went 2 yrs in a row and they had a different dr both times. Not personable at all.

The shopping center has a good selection of stores, but the layout of the parking lot is terrible. Youre always risking an accident when you go there. They should work on this.
Ahhh, Plattsburgh Square. Yes, there is a lot to do here for sure. Not overly fun, but if you really look, you can find some type of restaurant, shopping or entertainment for the whole family.
Consumer Square has 99% of your shopping needs. The parking can be a bit heavy a peak times, so be sure to check google to see how busy the store you want to visit is.
Walmart customer service is horrible there security is HORRIBLE i would give it a zero if i could.
Very few people, all the stores are looking for help! But the folks that are working are very helpful and willing to assist.

Sams Club it now has gas station as well as garage prices on meat swem comparable to all grocery stores but its a very nice open store its a supermarket and department store in one
The wife and I come to Plattsburgh around ever 6 months. When we do come down from Canada, we usually go to this shopping center to go to Wal-Mart and PetSmart. Occasionally we stop by Wendys for a bite to eat. On this last trip, we tried two more of the establishments in this shopping center, Buffalo Wild Wings and sweetFrog. We had a great experience at both and intend to add them both to our list of places we can go to.
An RV camper city for mainly Canadians to cheap to go to a local camp ground. Nightmare parking lot. Also its mainly Walmart Sams club...who cares. Get it online or higher quality lower prices elsewhere locally. TJ Maxx Home Goods only reason to deal with the murky crowds.
Great variety of stores. Parking lot remodel was weird to adjust to but its marked accordingly, not a big deal. Restaurants, eateries and shopping locations. This has it all.

Wal-Mart is a zoo today
Its a standard stripmall with a Walmart and Sams club. There is an ok variety of shops. It is NOT pedestrian friendly.

In the summer there are no good parking spots because the RVs set up camp. In the winter they barely do anything with the snow.
If your looking for anything this is the place they have Wal-Mart ,tj max ,pet smart, panara,sweet frog, chipotle ,wendys,buffalo wild wings, Sams and much more
Another necessary evil in life but can find everything you need. Feel like they have even stepped it up a notch with cooler choices.

2022-06-14We go to Plattsburgh at least once a month for a nice meal and some shopping. “Consumer Square” is so convenient. Basically everything you need is right there! And there are even some hotels in the area if you’re spending the night or staying for a few days.

2022-06-17This shopping center features Staples, Michaels, TJ Max, Ulta, Home Goods, Wal-Mart, Sams Club with Sams Gas, Buffalo Wildwings...etc. Very convenient for consumers to complete their shopping lists in one shot... The traffic here is a bit chaotic due to only one big parking lot with all heavy weight shopping facilities...

2022-02-20Main reason for my 3 star here is this parking lot/connecting roads are a mess. Theyve tried to change traffic flow in and out several times throughout the years here and nothing seems to work quite well. Invest in some large traffic circles maybe?

2022-01-28Its plattsburgh walmart lol need I say more. There are very few managers there and employees that actually want to work and when you ask for help all you get is attitude. The best manager there is up front and her name is Vanessa and a few of the door greeters are always fun and good spirited!
