I asked him politely how come his supervisor DAVE FELDMAN gave us an estimate thats suppose to be close. His exact answer was, DAVE is an office guy, he doesnt know anything about trucking or truck space. So, I said, why send a customer someone who doesnt know anything about truck space then. Its not fair to us and I would like to cancel the job as wethought worst case scenario, it will be $6000. Then he said, its too late now, your stuff is on my truck, and that doesnt include 5% tips for me and the guys. It took 5 movers from 1 pm to almost 7 pm to move a 912 sqf house that was all packed, and we only had a treadmill and 15 bin boxes in the basement (We had to leave everything in the backyard). We didnt really care about how long they took to finish the job, the problem was we were up to 2200 cubic feet, afteradding fuel charge, taxes, packing material, and tips, we were at about $11,385, not $3600!!! OSCAR demanded 70% deposit, we told him DAVE told us only 50% and it was written in the contract. We told him it wasnt in our budget to pay $12k and we can only give him a check for $5k. He said it will work, but since we are giving him a check instead of cash or money order, they will have to wait until the check clears to start shipping our belongings. We were shocked because we were never told that, and if we knew, we wouldve made sure we went to the bank before they closed to bring cash. We were very upset, but tried to remain calm and collective, also because this company now has our belongings that has a sentimental value to us, and we wanted it to arrive safely to Florida. Of course we try to contact Dave, message him to get answers from him, he is no where to be found throughout the process. Even though, right before the moving started we were talking about recommending him to family and friends, and that I posted a recommendation with his contact info on a large moving Facebook group because we were very pleased with our initial meeting with him.He was always very responsive, but was no where to be found during the actual moving process. Finally DAVE FELDMAN answers his phone days later and apologized about what happened and he will give us $200 discount. At this point, we dont care about pennies off when we are paying almost $12k. We realized we were scammed, but thanked him for the discount, and left it at that because we wanted our belongings to arrive undamaged and on the dates agreed upon. Now, we have been calling them since the 23rd of June almost everyday to get an update, but have been given nothing but the runaround. On the contract itself, the companys address is in San Diego, CA, but we were told that we have to contact their office in the Bronx, New York because they are the ones holding our truck. Finally DAVE FELDMAN returns our calls and gets the owner of the New York office on the phone, RACHEL COHEN. We couldnt understand anything he was saying as he was yelling and talking over us the whole time. He was telling us the check hasnt cleared on their end even though, it was taken out of my account the next day (June 18th.) We told him they are pushing us to report their company to the BBB. RACHEL COHEN said, go ahead report it, and didnt seem to care about their companys reputation. We left off at, the truck will be loaded on the weekend (June 25-26th), and it will be shipped on Monday June 27th. We tried to call to confirm that it was shipped and again no one was answering us. We had to call the San Diego office and asked to speak to someone who oversees the New York office. We spoke to their operational manager ADAM DAHAN, who is the only decent person we spoke to at this company and tried to help us to resolve the situation. We told him that almost every time we try to reach DAVE FELDMAN, he says that hes in the hospital and just hangs up the phone on us. We understand that he might have health issues, but we needed someone to handle our issues with their company. Continued

I reserved the services of Plymouth Relocation just two days before my move. I got a confirmation call the next day from the dispatcher and then again from the driver on the day of the move.  They called beforehand to inform that they were on the way. That was unexpected but welcome. The three movers that showed up for my move were really professional and worked really hard.  All of my furniture was wrapped really well. Even the unloading went smoothly. I’m happy overall since I didn’t lift a finger.  I will surely recommend these guys for anyone looking to move.

I am very upset and frustrated by Plymouth moving company! At the beginning of the contract signature, the representative is very positive for your requirement. After they collection $500 deposit, the company service attitude is rude and too bad.Further more, the company rescheduled to upload my home staffs as they will. They missed to come to upload my home staffs three times. We have awaited their movers come to upload for several days! That is completely horrible, and messed up my moving plan . Which also cause my lost too much. Finally, I had to contact other company to upload my moving staffs. They also declined to refund my deposit.I am trying to submit complaint on this scam-moving company, and keep my right to sue them soon.

Before I get into this whole story just know I have 5 witnesss to this whole story and my building security camera footage to back up this whole account.I hired Plymouth after speaking to one of their customer service reps. It seemed like a great a deal and I was saving money. I couldnt have been more wrong. This company once you book it with them make you pay a $ 601.00 deposit and what they dont tell you is that this is what they are making off of your move. If the move doesnt go right or the guys the company they hire you are a fraud you dont get your money back. When I did in the inventory list of my entire apartment I read off every item in the apartment. It was for a full pack. I told them I wanted my entire kitchen packed and all of our china. Keep in mind my apartment is only 583 sq ft. I kept asking are you sure this is enough boxes for my move and they said oh yes this is more then plenty. Quality assurance also informed me that the amount of boxes I had was correct even when I expressed concern that I didnt have enough.According to my agreement with Plymouth we had 2 days the movers the could show up and that the movers would contact me 24 hours in advance and 1 hour prior to arrival. The movers never contacted me at all I had to contact them. They also didnt show up till the 2nd day at 4 pm. Keeping in mind they all knew that I paid for meter space and got parking permits for this huge moving truck I was told that was coming for in front of my building because I live in the city. What the movers actually showed up with was a pickup truck and a trailer attached to it. There were no door signs on this truck saying what trucking company they were. He then opened up the back of the trailer it was clear there wasnt going to be any room for our stuff because the trailer was packed to the brim. From the moment the mover arrived he was nothing but unprofessional and rude. When he arrived in our apartment he immedialty said the quote Plymouth provided us was not correct and was only half of the cubic feet of space it actually required. After being very upset I just ok quote me what your amount would be. We ended up agreeing to 800.00 more just to get our stuff loaded. He also wanted the money up front before anything was done. I agreed to give him half of the total that was owed to him upfront and there couldnt be anymore issues. At that point we thought everything was fine. That was until the movers started wrapping our dishes in the clothes from our drawers and complaining the whole time. At this point I had to leave to drive down to the location we were moving to. I am in the car and my wife calls me freaking out saying the driver is calling her honey and sweetie and just demanded another thousand dollars cash or nothing was getting loaded.I told my wife to tell him to give us our money back and leave or we were calling the police. Plymouths offices were closed at this point and was not going to get extorted for anymore money. Driver only gave my wife back 200.00 and kept 600.00 for his time even though nothing was done. My wife and I were left with nothing backed down 600.00 and also the 600 we paid Plymouth. I ended up having to rent a moving truck myself and get it all done.I contacted Plymouth on Monday demanding that I get my money back from Plymouth and the carrier because of the unprofessionalism and that nothing was even done. I was basically told there was no way I was going to be getting my money back from Plymouth and the carrier would be contacting me later that afternoon to discuss a refund of the money that was taken from us. That was on Monday its now Wednesday and I still havent heard from the carrier.Do yourself a favor and stay away from these people. These companies will reel you in with these low estimates and you will end up paying full price maybe even more in the long run.

If I could give them 0 zero stars I would. Unprofessional and rude. The absolute worst! Please, please read this review and take it into consideration before you go with this company. I’ve been in the military for 16 years and moved at least 10 times via the military and by moving companies which I choose. This was by far the WORST service I have ever experienced in my life. First, they pressure you into booking your move on the first call. At first I did not realize the representative, Jules Driver, was trying really hard to make a sell and told me what I wanted to hear to make it complete. The day I was supposed to get my “quality assurance” call (as they call it). I called in because no one called me. This was a horrible phone call as I was forced to lock in my move or forfeit my initial deposit. Which trust me, if I had known what was to come, I would have taken the $800 loss. During this call the rep, Jules Driver, yelled at me and accused me of calling him a liar during this 1 hour conversation. He then apologized when he realized, what I was saying was truthful. As I recanted our previous conversation in our initial call.I called several times to speak to a supervisor, billing department, complaint department, etc. because my move order was incorrect. Well, apparently this is a small company. As every time I called they said they had no human resources or billing department. Each time I called I was passed on to another male, who all sounded just alike and all had a name that started with J (Jason, John, Jules, etc), ironic? I think, not. Throughout this ordeal, which I can write a 5 page paper on, my move dates were mixed up with the dispatcher, my deposit was mixed up with the dispatcher and I was lied to and treated with much disrespect over the phone. I was yelled at multiple times and even was hung up on by a supervisor. You may think if I was rude, no I was not. I tried to explain my side, and the last so called “supervisor” would not hear me out. Accused me of lying and hung up on me, yes you read this right. My sister heard him yelling on the other side of the phone and was in shock of the treatment. Plymouth has these types of employees. I wish I was rude, I wish I was irate and not understanding to receive this treatment, but I was not.To make matters worse, my pick up was delayed by the dispatchers, they had the incorrect paperwork and they charged me an additional $500, claiming I was over the size limit (which I overestimated during my quality assurance call by 40 additional boxes, yes you read correct, 40 boxes.) The dispatch never showed me the exact measurements on how I was over my square footage. How could I have gone over even though I overestimated my box count by 40 additional boxes? By this time, I was so stressed and fed up, I let them take my stuff and gave them the extra money. I needed to move because I was leaving the state during the weekend. Wait it gets better…I paid an extra $500 to Plymouth to get a guaranteed delivery date range of 3 days. I am in the military and was due overseas shortly after my move. This was a personal move not covered by the military. However, I had to leave the new location at a certain date, hence the reason I paid $500 extra to get my 3 day delivery date. Well, dispatch calls me the day before the date saying they can’t deliver. Although I paid the additional, $500. Well I had no option, I was leaving the next day. Needless to say after experiencing much heartache with dispatch and no help from Plymouth. They brought my goods on the very last “guaranteed day”. This was after many phone calls and stress over whether my goods & belongings will make it on time. I can only hope you read this whole review and take it under consideration. Save yourself the stress and suffering of dealing with Plymouth and their horrible service. Along with the dispatch companies they are partnered with. DO NOT use them. I wouldn’t want anyone else to experience what I experienced. Use a better and more professional moving company.

I strongly discourage use of Plymouth Relocation Services. The agent lied about the total cost and estimated time of delivery. The movers were careless, breaking one of my items and outright losing another. There was little to no effort to locate the lost item. Which led to an equally unpleasant experience with the so-called “Claims Department,” Avast. The Plymouth Relocation agent did a sell job on me to do the relocation in December because it was a slow time of year for them and I would likely get my possessions relatively fast since I was only moving from California to Arizona. This certainly did not end up being the case. He also said I could lock in a lower price because I was booking a couple of months in advance. Another lie.On pickup day, the movers found ways to manipulate the situation and rationalize charging me another 150-bucks more than the previously agreed upon “locked in” total price of the move. I had no choice but to pay since they would not load until I met their “hostage” demand. After the truck was packed and I thought they had left, the foreman of the crew had the audacity to come back, knock on my front door and ask for a tip for him and each of his guys because they did such a great job. Considering I did all my own packing and generated an even more comprehensive inventory control sheet than theirs, I thought that was both ignorant and ballsy of him. Like a fool, however, I gave them each 50-bucks just the same: The work they do is hard, regardless. It took a very disappointing nine days for my belongings to be delivered. I suppose that would be “fast” if I was moving across country. But California to Arizona? During a supposed slow time of year? Even the foreman of the delivery crew openly admitted they’d basically been sitting on their hands for the last couple of weeks. My $200 stationary cycling trainer arrived broken and beyond repair. It was probably dropped from the truck. And it was clearly stated in the final paperwork that my living room TV stand (about $125 in value) was missing. The move crew foreman said they would check on this and he’d get back to me. He never did.I dutifully submitted my claim to Avast, meeting all the conditions for doing so. A month went by without hearing a word from them. Finally, I called to ask the status. In a couple of hours I got an email from Avast offering me a whopping $30 to settle this claim. I didn’t realistically expect them to reimburse me for the full original purchase price of these items but a settlement offer of a measly 30-bucks was a blatant insult to my intelligence. I advised Avast that their offer was unacceptable and haven’t heard from them since. BTW, my email communications with them were cc’d to the original Plymouth Relocation agent. Not surprisingly, he hasn’t responded either. If you want trust, integrity and professionalism from your moving company, steer clear of Plymouth Relocation Services.

We were very impressed with this company. I have never moved out of state and called a few companies to gather information on the process and the price. I was real nervous about making a bad decision. The representative at Plymouth Relocation (Justin- very nice guy) gave us way more information than the other people we spoke with. Their price was right in the middle of the 4 quotes we got, and they seemed more knowledgeable than the other companies. It wasnt the cheapest of the 4 prices but it was definitely the most comforting quote. After making a few adjustments to the list of items to bring, we called them and reserved the movers. Once they showed up things were exactly how the guy told me they would be. We had a 3 man crew. First they laid paper down to avoid tracking dirt on the floor, and then went to work. My furniture was well padded before they ever loaded it into the truck. They put stickers on my boxes so as to keep them all organized. They were also very nice and courteous. I tipped them each after they finished (took approx 4.5 hours) they thanked us, and they drove off. They showed up with our stuff 9 days later (when expected) and literally only 1 small end table had damage. Everything else was just as we had left it. This is a hassle free company for real. It was just a completely stress free experience and I was really happy with the results. They put my stuff in the rooms I wanted it in, they assembled my furniture as promised, and I honestly just have no complaints. I hope I never have to move again, but if I had to, no queston I would call this company again and give them some repeat business.

I had a terrible experience here. I will be as logic based and non emotional about this as possible, for those to learn from my experience based on the facts.First the salesman on the phone promised me Id get my stuff within 2-3 days from the date I said for delivery. It took over 2 weeks, almost 3. When I called to find out where my things were, they said it was in contract that it could take up to 3 weeks and I should have read it. Yes, I can take the fault and learn from this. With that said, when a salesman tells you one thing, and then goes back on their word, this created much more stress. Along with the analogy, when you click agree to the new iTunes update, do you read all those pages? And people only move across the country, once or twice in their life. That seems to be a contingent worth verbalizing. Also, I realized this was a salesman. Promising me the best service from one of the best moving companies. What I realized, besides the complete lack of trust and going back on what he verbally promised, was that its worth talking directly to a moving company and no reason to call Plymouth relocation services, because the just distribute the work to which ever mover is available. This means I paid well more just for him to contact them rather than do a little more digging myself. Again, something I did not realize as it was my first time moving.I was also promise, that they wouldnt add charges when they picked up my stuff. He reiterated how other movers do that to play games and they dont. After being reassured theyre so prestigious, the day comes to move and I am charged an extra $550. Because I am in a pinch to move soon, and they told me only after they fully loaded the truck, and didnt have much choice but to accept. The drivers themselves were not in the business of customer service. Whenever Id call the company, theyd say they couldnt get in touch with the driver. Which turned my stomach to wonder if all my belongs in my life were lost completely. Then theyd give me the drivers number to call myself. Which would end in short conversations stating Ill be there within a 2-3 days, on several occasions. Then theyd say they were busy and hung up before further elaboration or protest that theyd said that two weeks ago. Just to make me feel like, oh good at least its going to be soon, and then keep waiting, over and over.Lastly, I finally got my stuff today. I several broken dressers, chairs, and personal items. While they made me pay for their services upfront in cash before unloading the truck, they took no responsibility for the broken items. And told me to make a claim, which will take 5-6 months to process.Ive slept on my floor for the first three weeks of my apartment because of the lack of communications and empty promises. Theyre unreliable on time and the condition of my things. Let alone rude to no regard.

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience. We own a company in the service professional field. We were under quoted and when they came the fee doubled. We were moving my mother and we told the person on the phone that she had large furniture and would like them to quote on the high side as we were doing it blindly. We did expect a little larger charge as we did have more items but our cost more than doubled. We asked multiple times if were were going to tip them or buy them lunch. Totally unprofessional.Upon delivery only one service professional was there to unload the items. We ended up having to use our staff to unload the truck while the driver just stood there and watched. When we called to discuss this with the company they basically sided with their driver and basically told us we were not being truthful. We did have some damaged items as in our mattress was placed against the top of the semi and on a light in the trailer and it burnt a hole in the mattress. We were told it could take over 4 months for a replacement to be issued. Just wondering what my mother will be sleeping on--A burnt pillow top mattress??Customer service was may below expectations of the white glove service we were provided. As owners of a company, we would be appalled if our staff treated customers like this but I guess after they get your money they really dont care if you use them again. If this post helps anyone steer clear of them then it is worth it.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I paid extra to go through a broker in order to know I wouldnt be set up with any moving company scam. Plymouth set me up with Call Me Van Lines. Call Me Van Lines company has 1 star, multiple Ripoff Report complaints and accounts of extortion. I never wouldve hired this company but I didnt know who Plymouth had arranged to pick up my goods until they arrived at my door! After 6 weeks (violation of regulations) and many angry phone calls, Call Me Van Lines finally delivered my goods... but they had hired a third party to deliver it and the 18-wheeler couldnt fit in my driveway or in the large Neighborhood Park parking lot next door to my house. I had to rent a UHaul and truck my stuff back and forth from 5 miles away! And unload it at my house without the help of the mover! Dont use this service. Rent a UHaul. Youll have to anyways.
