The best bank we have workedwith. Easy and fast to get HELOC or traditional mortgage. We shopped around for mortgage. TD was pathetic, broker from Chase was a pain to work with and City gave us much higher rate. But Sudarsha was awesome and he went above and beyond to help us and make sure everything is going smoothly and quickly.
Met with Humberto last month. He is rather condescending and patronizing. Doesn’t seem to have the social skills or emotional intelligence to effectively convey and articulate different PNC accounts, often omitting important information. His false sense of confidence, seemingly to stem from general insecurities, though very insulting, become rather entertaining by the end. Highly recommend!Chase is just so much better in every aspect.
I am originally from Ohio, where PNC is common, so the fact that there are only two on all of Manhattan is pretty annoying.This particular location is nicely decorated and both times when I walked in, I was greeted by either a guard or a representative. Transactions were both easy and the tellers were efficient and very friendly.The only negative mark I have is for the 2 inch bulletproof glass windows, which make communicating with the tellers tougher than it needs to be.
Attempted to open an account. Waisted over an hour waiting for a banker to assist me. They have multiple employees, but only one person that can set up a simple checking account. If they cant get something so simple right I wouldnt put my trust in them. What an embarrassment!
Ive banked with PNC as long as I could remember while living in Pittsburgh, PA and Atlanta, GA where theres a branch on almost every corner. Unfortunately there are only 2 PNC locations in NYC but all of the people who work there are friendly and just as welcoming as you would expect.HOWEVER. One great thing about PNC in NYC is if you are looking for a PNC ATM, the furthest you have to look is at any McDonalds. For non-PNC members the ATM charges you a dollar but it is free for PNC members to use!
Awful bank. Stay away. I have an account there for years, now wanted to close it and they are forcing me to go in to a branch, which requires me to take a day off to go to the city from Long Island where I live. No reasonable explanation. I havent changed addresses the entire time, I can furnish copies of any proof they may want as to my identity and address (which is on their records). Stay clear of these bums.
Rude. Walked up to teller and just looks at me.... finely says hi. I asked the teller if i could cash my check at their branch but Couldnt understand her broken Korean accent. After a 3rd time telling her I CANT UDERSTAND YOU, her co worker with the brush ape afro while snspping her gum chimed in and gave me ansewer I needed. No good bye , no have nice day in broken Korean, nothing. I just walked out and went to another bank. BIG bank = small customer service.
The bank tellers work at the counter are nice while the ones in the rooms are purely useless, they were never helpful, even when I tried to open another account, they had to stay inside while asking the teller from counter to pass on the words to me as if he was a president, whats worse, at the end, he couldnt help at all but wasted my time on waiting the nice teller coming back and forth to pass words from him ... Well, good news is , I might not have to deal with it anymore, since Im not only giving up on opening a new account but also closing my current account, adios PNC
Was a horrible & terrible experience. I told Maria the woman that opens accounts I would be coming to open an account. I told her about my business, nothing crooked or illegal. A regular on-line business with $1 million dollars + in revenue. She said no problem we will get you a business account set up. Traveled 2 hours by rail and was told when I got there we would not be a good match. ?????. My business does several million dollars a year. Are you joking me ?? Lets ask the stockholders of this company if they want this moron deciding what is good for them. A million dollars + $$$$. NOT A GOOD MATCH. SOMEBODY GET RID OF THIS PATHETIC MORON I was outraged she would entice me to travel all the way to Manhattan and be told she would not set me up. She wasted my whole day and travel costs. I AM OUTRAGED. PNC STOCKHOLDERS DO SOMETHING WITH THIS CLUELESS IMBECILE. I will try and reach out to higher officials to rectify this.
The worst customer service , was there at the bank to pick up my cash from the teller , everytime I walkin they try to take ask me uncomfortable question ?? N After waiting for a long hours they just tells me we don’t have any cash with us ... so I believe this is the worst place to be or open up an account .. 🤬🤬
Really bad customer services, I’m using the PNC Bank as my primary bank for the last five years I never had bad experience but unfortunately, today I visited this branch for my first time really bad customer agency, I will close my account I don’t want this bank anymore.

2022-04-20I don’t event write reviews, but this bank was so horrible that I had to. They told me I had to get approved for an appointment to register to open a business bank account. 3 weeks later I’m still struggling to get on the phone with the woman who does the business bank accounts. Everytime I call they take my number and say she will call me back. I have called 5 times.

2022-04-13Stay away from this bank !!! moved overseas for business reasons , demanded to change my address and phone number , wire money from my account to my account then the nightmare started , spend hours on phone , sending and signing forms , Despite multiple identity check , they literally block me from wiring my money or changing my adresse !!! When I escalated to a manager it was even more difficult 😥 A nightmare to deal with but , the only positive things , is that they did all this none sense with a lot of apologies , feels better ! Will have to take a flight ticket to NY in order to close my account. OMG !!!!

2022-02-23No lines but they make you sign up for an appointment with a series of pointless texts and make you wait for seemingly no reason. Ive never experienced an inconvenience like this at any PNC branch.

2022-04-25Someone opened an account with my credentials and I have been trying for a month to get someone to help me to close the fraudulent account. No one has done anything to help. The only people who answer me is through Twitter. Phone support and email have both failed.

2021-10-27The whole crew had an attitude. Came all the way for nothing. If you hate your job, please just quit and stop making everyone else’s life so difficult.I went in for two certified checks, the black lady at the counter literally told herself:” I am not going to argue with you”. Madam, just explain the situation to your client. You really don’t need to get all emotional and talk to yourself like that.I know for a fact that I can have two checks so you simply just telling me to combine them ain’t cutting it. I am not going to have my situation decided for me. Thanks for nothing 🙂

2018-10-27On Friday 10/26/2018, I visited PNC Bank located at 340 Madison Avenue, New York NY 10173 and I used the ATM to deposit funds into my account. The ATM malfunctioned by accepting my deposit but the transaction was not completed as my receipt was not printed nor was the funds credited to my account. An error message came on the screen of ATM machine stating that no more than 50 bills can be entered at a time and the machine returned only a small portion of my deposit but kept the majority of my deposit. My deposit was under 20 counted bills. The machine then read that ‘service has been called’. I called out for someone at the branch to assist and was ushered to a banker who informed me that there was nothing that he could do since the bank does not service the ATMs and proceeded to call into the claims department. I was visibly upset because the deposit was intended to pay bills that was due. The claims representative on the phone could not offer any assistance other than inform me that it will take 10 business days for an investigation and for my funds to be credited to me. Ten days later does not help me! I asked the banker if he could view the cameras to confirm my deposit and he responded no. I then asked to speak with the Branch Manager and I was told that the manager already left for the day, so he was the only one who could offer assistance in which he did not! I left the branch upset of course and I went to Wells Fargo to deposit the remainder of my funds that I intended for PNC. At Wells Fargo I advised the banker what happened and he stated that I should’ve been offered Provisional Credit due to the situation and advised that I file a complaint. I called my best friend who previously worked in the banking field and she stated the same as Wells Fargo and and also stated that this was standard procedure. Why was I not offered Provisional Credit at PNC? The banker at PNC did not care and was relieved when I left the bank. Once this issue clears up, I will not continue my business with the bank. I will also inform my friends and my colleagues in the insurance industry my experience. This horrible experience should not be repeated.Submitted by,S.B.New York

2020-08-12I entered the branch 9:53 am to make deposit my cousins account. It took 55 minutes to complete transaction. I do not recommend this branch at all. Very unprofessional tellers work here.

2020-07-12Cannot do everything smoothly in PNC bank, I tried to deposit money into ATM and it cannot even handle my service and I need to contact PNC bank; when I tried to deposit checks with two person’s name including my name, the staff asks for the other person to be available as well; doing everything is difficult in this bank, probably because this bank thinks every customer is poor, also this bank only have branch in Manhattan.

2018-01-03This is the worst bank on the planet. Too bad I am overseas. As soon as I get back to the US I will move my money to another bank.I have not had access to MY MONEY for 5 days. I have spent lots of money calling these people to get transactions approved and nothing has been fixed. I am having a nervous breakdown. Their employees are a bunch of retards. I hate the fact that I moved my money from Chase.
