Ordered two burgers, fries, and the special blooming onion pedals. The burgers were decent size. Ordered them no pink. Definitely had a lot of pink. I dont mind, the lady however, upset. The blooming onion was more like sauteed onions tossed in a box all soggy. Theres absolutely no breading. They clearly werent fried. Waste of five dollars. The fries were old and soggy too.
Very clean. Lots of slots to choose from. I could hear lots of winning lol but not for me that day. It was Thursday so they had Taste of Turning Stone foods. I had the Orange Chicken and it was great. The workers there are so nice. They have table games but I dont do those. There are lots of new slots to play.
It took me longer to drive to the casino than play. Point Place doesnt even give a free play. I Recently went to Alantic City, I had a free room, $25.00 food voucher, and $20.00 free play. After a 3 day stay hours of fun came home 25 00 ahead.I wish NYS would local casino (vernon,Delago) some of Oneida Nations sweetheart deals. There is no competitionthis Re
I really enjoy the cozy atmosphere of point place. The area around the fire place is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine with a friend. Unwind after a long day. Grab some good food maybe a slice of pizza from Wicked Pizza or many of the great burgers. Everything they have to eat there is delicious.😋
My visit to Point Place was the same as my visit to Turning Stone. You cant go there with less than $500 and spend any amount of time cuz you go through it like water. I walked in with $500 and I was there for maybe a half an hour and its gone. I thought with the place looking pretty empty I had a better chance but apparently I did not. Im just at a point where it doesnt seem fun to go at all anymore. You dont get any bonuses on any of the games...you just go in, donate your money and leave! I only seem to have this problem at Turning Stone, yellow brick, Point Place and the one at Sylvan Beach. If I gamble at any other Casino I tend to have very good luck which leads me to believe that they are all completely rigged at these 4 casinos.
Part of Turning Stone, Always fun.Advice only take the money you can afford to loose. Everything else, Cash, Credit Cards and jewelry locked in the spare tire well of the car. Park in the far end of the parting lot. Call Security and have them pick you up.Never borrow money from Family, Friends or The Casino.Thats the only way to relax, Play for fun, break away from play go to a drink at the bar. At the end of the night use your comp dollars to grab a quick bite. Try to stop in whenever visiting Syracuse to visit Family
Thought wed go here for a little evening out for a few hours. Brought a $100 and figured wed get something to eat too. We bet 40-50 cents per spin, and it was gone in 10-15 minutes. I dont mind spending $100, but when its gone in 10-15 minutes and had no joy over it... not worth it! Needless to say, we left and did not eat here. They got enough of our money and I wasnt about to give them another cent. OH... I did win $2.50 on a BONUS. LOL. Give me a break. Wont be returning. Ill go out to dinner somewhere else and buy scratch offs next time.
Cute but pretty small for a casino! Decent variety of games (slots and table games). 1 bar. Wicked Good Pizza Shop and a burger place- both fast food style. Nice fireplace inside and outside for hanging out with friends and having drinks. Covered smoking area and you can buy cigarettes at the payers club.
Nice little place, unlike others I thought the machines did pay. Not fortunes but enough to keep you going. Small but a good selection of games. Easy parking. Got really busy which was my cue to go but would go back again and when I do an looking forward to trying the restaurants.
Most dealers are nice and friendly. A couple dont prefer to talk. 2 of each table, usually only 1 of them is open unless it is busy. With covid, thats not common right now. One whole section dedicated to Blackjack, something like 9 tables for blackjack with varying minimum bets.
I enjoy going to Point Place. It is only about 5 mi from my house so very convenient. With the opening after the covid virus, they have taken great steps to make you welcome there and help keep you safe. Its nice to be out for a couple of hours during the day away from the house and also nice atmosphere to have lunch. Opals isnt bad either... Always take home a cookie for snack later.
I found the Casino to be very accommodating to my handicapable daughter. We took her for her 21st birthday. She has Cerebral Palsy and is wheelchair bound. The staff there treated her as a normal person by speaking to her as the adult she is and the bar tender brought drinks to us and played it off saying I always bring the first glass to the birthday girl. (Its a walk up bar. Not a sit down restaurant. They dont bring you your drink.) Ultimately we WILL be going back as they are the perfect size casino with amazing staff. Oh yeah, we won 300 on a 20 dollar bill and they gave Faith her own free ten bucks as Happy Birthday. She won 70. Cant wait to go back!
It was my first time and it was great. Especially since we walked away ahead! I put 20 in and walked away with 60, hubby put 20 in and walked away with 40. There casino was appealing to the eye, not too big, not too small. Next time we will try the burgers (we had just come from dinner)
Excellent casinoWe had fun, spent some moneyand had a cocktail before heading homeWe were appalled at the treatment of our bartender ( Stephen) by the managerThe bartender was catering to his customers in a fun and profession manner, and the managers criticism was uncalled for; rude &, condescending and done right in front of the customers. The manager ( Karl) soured our experience on this otherwise terrific venue ..
Not as it was expected , we played some slots and watched the people and staff , unfortunatly society has become so rude and disrespectful ! And i agree the staff were doing what they could do but very lax on cleaning and assisting people , seems like there was more standing around comunicating with friends that where playing the games. Didnt really care about the vultures that hoovered behind you watching you play and that was public ! Maybe get more security roaming around , i did not feel safe with these people watching and hoovering behind me at all some were were very creapy people.
Very nice little casino. Not as big as something like Turning Stone, but theres a couple of nice restaurants and some very nice lounge space. I had lunch at their Burgers of Madison County, which was good for a price that wasnt too outrageous. They did mess up my order a bit by mishearing my request for loaded fries and giving me regular fries instead, but oh well. They also shouldnt place their Burgers on paper mats, as the bottom of the burger sticks to the paper. Otherwise, nice place.
Burgers of Madison County continues to be a disappointment. The food is bland and luke warm. Tonight i ordered the special.... Pot Roast.... It took 20 minutes to receive my order. The food is already prepared all they need to do is plate it. The couple in front of me and the man behind me ordered the same special and received theirs long before i did. I had to go to the counter to get mine. When i received it the roast was just all fatty. It was not busy.... It perplexes me why a multimillion dollar company just cant produce good food at any of their restaurants.... With the exception of Wicked Good at YBR.
Not bad but not hugh I prefer Turning Stone and they really dont pay out well but it was nice to get away for a little while, staff sorta treats u like inmates rolling in there very direct which I get but be alittle nicer goes along way, act like new recruits getting off a bus at a military base
The decor and appearance are welcoming, staff so far are very nice and helpful, but Im a smoker and I dont understand why the heat lamps are turned off late nights, it was one thing I bragged about my first visit, but I froze and left due to the fact they were turned off last time I was there! Its still winter and comfort shouldnt have a time limit!
Second time eating here.First time 2 weeks ago..2 people ..one had chili dog and chicken orzo soup..other had chili, corn bread and small salad. No complaint.Second time on last Wednesday..2 different people..one had BBQ burger and fries, other had classic burger and fries. Awesome burgers !! Cooked as asked,1 med rare..2nd well done.But....person at counter was given my license showing I was senior plus my turning stone card..she said sorry..she didnt give me senior discount but she did to my friend. I will be 71 in December. My friend is 69.Then she forgot my friends order..both on same #88..bad customer service. Oh, I tipped her $2 before I realized the error. So we tipped the delivery person to our table to get her forgotten order plus to go containers. Large portions..took home rest. Delicious !!
Have been here 4 or 5 times, food is normally adequte. Tonight however, ordered a grilled cheese and it came out in about 1 minute. Was lukewarm and obviously someone elses mistake. Ate it anyway, but next time I think I need to say Ill have a grilled cheese sandwhich, freshly cooked. No leftovers please. Oh well.
After my initial negative experience here on Monday 2/11/19, I was contacted by the operations manager, who was an absolute gentleman and he asked me to give his team another chance, all while they made right the wrong that had taken place there. I was so pleasantly surprised at the swift response from the leadership of this casino. After sitting with the operations manager upon my return, it became apparent that he truly cares about his guests having a positive experience while there. I will certainly return when I am back in the area.
We had some time to kill on this rainy afternoon so we decided to check out Point Place. Its a nice new casino in Bridgeport, about a 20 minute drive from Fairmount. They have slots and tables, not a lot, just enough for a fair crowd. The dealers are fun and enjoy talking with the players. If you like to play you should try it out!
Ordered a medium rare! It was rediculously dry, not a smidgen of pink! Im not usually one to complain about my order, so dry I needed my beverage to swallow it! was a Thursday night after nine oclock, no exuse it was busy! When I complained (which I have never done anywhere) the staff was ruder than I have ever experienced! They were laughing amongst each other without any care I wasted my money on something I wouldnt feed my dog! The service was more nauseating than the food! Thanks for the horrible experience, will be sure to direct friends and family elsewhere! What an insult to Madison county saying this is the best around! Unbelievable!!!
Ok... Table games were good but not many. Along with slot machines.Once I started hitting on slot, it had error and guy had to come fix it even though it re rolled wheels, they oddly enough landed almost exactly where they already were but just off so I didnt hit even though it was already supposed to pay out. Shady.Burger joint was good.Parking lot has EV charging!!
Food Quality & Portion Control is never consistent! Also, it seems that the days the Casino is the busiest, the food is delivered much faster as well as the quality being better than the slower days!I was informed today when getting my calzone that they will be making them smaller (less than half the size) and the prices will remain the same??? Decent amount of Bacon & Mushrooms inside, except for the non-existent extra cheese & ricotta that was asked and paid for!Sometimes my dining experience is excellent and others not so much...
Western Style. It appears from the inside and out that they are trying not to make it such a modern atmosphere that it is more comfortable in setting it like a Casino from Montana or the upper west. Food is a bit expensive, but good. Music in the Food Court is a bit too loud. NOW! Let me explain what I think about security. Over the winter there has been a lot of snow, which took a lot of parking spaces. During that last two BIG giveaways I parked far from the door because there were no open spaces, in a snow pile. So security calls me to the desk and puts a NOTICE of my car that it has to be moved. I was twenty feet from any car. They make such an issue of this, so I walked the parking lot and looked at the handicapped slots. At east 10 slots did not having Handicapped parking permits or plates, but security doesnt say anything about that. No they standing inside the door and talk about who in their group is doing what, not paying attention to their jobs, joking with each other and standing behind people talking loud, disrupting people focusing on playing games.
Kinda small but nice. The complimentary beverage area had no napkins, the sugar dispenser was empty so had to use packets, and needed to be wiped down more frequently. First table we sat at the dealer had to call about 6 times for a pit boss to check and ok as we were buying in with hundreds for $300 in chips. That held up the table for a bit. There were 3 of them back there chatting and I dont believe theres more than 12 active tables in the entire place. Spent a little over an hour playing bj there and walked out with nearly 4x more money. We left happy.
Slots are pretty tight. Seems to be better than Turning Stone though. Nice to have a casino 20 minutes away! Id rather go here than some of the others. At least if u find a good machine itll let u play for awhile. Seems the better odds are when ur playing max bet though. I guess thats the way it always is though - Right?
Its a Casino. Entertainment for a price. Its clean, has a few bars, a couple places to eat. It also has machines to take your money, they are not in business to give you money. We enjoy going a couple times a year to play, we do not expect to win so are not disappointed when we dont. HAVE FUN
Met friends there. Good times. Burger was good but they didnt ask how I wanted it cooked. Would have liked it medium well. It was undercooked (more on rare side) but tasted ok. Also only one in group was asked about senior discount for food. Should be offered to all or none.
Very nice..great choice of gaming. The con is that my payment receipt got stuck in the machine so i turned on service light and was waiting and waiting for someone to come help. No one was coming... I finally saw someone in a suit and flagged him down. He then radioed to get help and still ended up waiting for 10 minutes for someone to snow up..
Great little casino with a couple restaurants and bars inside. Its small, typically not crowded and Ive had pretty good luck there.Parking is easy, and close to the doors. So its my go to place on the cold nights! The pizza at Work Good Pizza is alright, nothing special. The burgers at Burgers of Madison county are good, to very good. Thick burger with basically any combo of toppings. I believe I saw a doughnut burger?!?!
Won multiple jackpots on the same machine over several hours. I enjoy the openness of it and the somewhat natural lighting of the floors layout. My only complaint was that waitresses were severely understaffed. The poor girl who was dropping off my drinks looked hurried and stressed, which is definitely understanding on a busy Sunday.
Its new, so its neat and clean. Everyone is attentive to your needs. The machines are wiped down soon after someone leaves them, great during flu season. The one thing Im not so fond of is the fire pit. You can smell the burning wood when you walk in. For me its fine, for my son who has asthma, not so much. We couldnt have a fire in the fireplace when he was growing up.
My brother and Aunt surprised me by taking me there. We met up with our cousin. I really enjoyed myself and now I know where my Dad goes as its close to where I grew up! Love the outside patio with comfy chairs and fireplace. All the machines you could want and blackjack along with a few other table games. Has a unique machine which Ive never seen at any casino in the Syracuse or Buffalo area!
Have been twice, will not be going back again. Understand completely that you don’t win everytime but they should at least loosen the machines up a little. Spend $100 on a $1.50 machine and don’t even get one free spin or a win over $10, come on now. Will stick to the other casinos that actually give a little to keep you there playing for a bit.
Its a nice casino ~ noise level seems higher than The Turning Stone & Yellow Brick Road. Didnt win, but had a good meal; me, Philly sandwich & huge serving of fries that came with it & hubby had a Cheeseburger dressed, with fries. We could only eat half of it & boxed the rest for home. Will be back.
Beatiful building. Very clean and nice but small. We stopped late at night like 2am on a weekday and nothing was open. No food except for a vending machine. They do have free soda, water, and coffee however at the serve yourself area and no waitresses walking around. Not many people there either so didnt win much. Also none of the table games were open only slots
The burger place I ate at was amazing and the older woman working the register last Saturday evening was nice and friendly and informed my mother of the senior discount (lol) and that you can use points towards the price. One of the best burgers weve had and it was a little under 20$ for two and a side of amazing fries! So yummy. The casino is ehh, its definitely quieter and less crowded than turning stone but the payouts were not so good. Overall, I think it is worth a stop after coming from Turning Stone as it was a nice place to relax eat and play a little after coming from the hustle and bustle there.
Small and casual casino and i had my usual casino success i.e. almost none.lol. they had many safeguards in place including not allowing entry for people from states w high numbers. Sanitizer for your hands and wipes you can use on the machines were available throughout. Lots of written reminders to use them and to wear mask all over the casino. Even in the bathroom, signs on the mirrors telling us to wash hands for 20 seconds. So it was all a bit strange but it was fun to be in a casino again, even w a mask on the whole time.
LOVE POINT PLACE. my boyfriend loves the sports books. I enjoy the slots! Super clean casino. I come from Las Vegas and I WIIISH they had been doing the self serve free soda pop and coffee like the casinos out here do! It’s awesome!I wish the table games were t so high, we have $1 table games back home and I’m cheap! Haha. After all I go to “throw” my money away anyways. I also with the restaurants were open later. I’m so used to everything being 24/7.Overall it’s a wonderful small casino. I enjoy point place a lot more than turning stone.
I like that its not huge for the times you just want to run in for an hour or so and play free plays. Theres a restaurant that has seating close to the floor so my family can eat and play near by each other. However, If youre looking for more of a night out to the casino Point Place is probably not the recommended casino as its very small and theres no club. Also, if youre a smoker theres no smoking indoors at all but if you arent a smoker that is a plus.
I was happy going here until my daughters experience tonight. She went with her boyfriend tonight, never been there before. They were never told that you are suppose to print out voucher. They thought money just stayed on their card. I should have been with them. Anyways, her boyfriend got a little loud at the teller and they were both escorted out. My daughter doesnt get out much as she has MS. She has a hard time walking and when she walks she looks like she is drink. As they were being escorted out, she fell and hit her knee and chin on sidewalk. The gentlemen didnt even care. I felt really bad when she came home and told me that she fell. She doesnt go out because people stare and think she is drunk. I will not go back to this casino. I know I am only one out of thousands but, my daughter is only 22 and she did not ask for MS. She just wanted to have a little time out. I realize her boyfriend should have held his cool but, the escorts should have made sure she was ok.

2021-12-05Cute place and very quaint to eat by the fireside. However the food was very average....I had the chicken Cobb salad and when I was leaving I noticed a customer with the same thing, but hers was huge and mounded up. She did say they are not consistent there and clearly I can see that. I would probably try this again though.

2022-05-20This is a nice smaller casino with a good variety of slots and table games. The location is great for those of us that dont always want to drive to the Oneida location. Good restaurants/bars and seating areas. The landscape is super cute with the ponds and fountains and outdoor woodsy seating area, great place to relax!

2022-02-12I am just a low stakes slot machine player. When Im in the area I do enjoy stopping at point place casino to lose a couple bucks and zone out to the ding-a-ling of the machines. Its a smaller scale casino which makes it really easy to get in and out of. Its got a really nice upscale, clean Starbucks like feel. Its got a decent eatery and a great coffee shop that takes the sting out of losing money.

2022-06-23Real nice bar area and a great place to take someone on a first date. Food is good but not great, atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are nice and helpful. Casino is constantly swapping out slot machines and the minimum avg bet for the slots is 60¢. Dont think youd gonna walk in with $20 and leave a winner. The payouts are very very very low but occasionally someone will hit it for $10,000. Tables are busy and cant miss em. Be prepared to lose if your younger than 55yrs old. Good Luck, your gonna need it here!

2022-04-04By far the best casino staff across the many I’ve visited across the country. Had a group of ten guys, many first timers, that despite not always winning had a blast with the crew. A special shout out to pit bosses Jessica, Gino, Abel, and Ben as well as dealers Carolina, Jay, and Josh for having fun with us. Cool environment, good food and bars, nice Sportsbook, fun tables. Will be back soon.

2022-04-01First time at this small casino. Had nice lunch at Burgers of Madison County. Liked the real fire in the fireside lounge. Slots were ok and fun although I did not winI would go back again if given the opportunity.

2022-06-25Nice little place. Almost all new machines. There are a few really old ones too. At first you will think youll like playing the old machines you used to play many years ago... but after a very short time theyre just boring. ;)

2022-04-25Casino ok. Burgers of Madison not good. We have been going here for years food was good. This time meat had a bad taste to them. Too bad we may not go back for awhile.
