I found this spot because it kept popping up on Uber eats 😅 so I decided to take the drive. Halfway my stomach was yelling at me. Its a small spot but they have an interesting set up for covid precautions..you go in and use a preprinted menu to select your protein, toppings , base etc. Go in slide it under glass and the order is made fresh. I have to say the food was so good and I was ecstatic to find a place that had another option besides white or brown rice. Current dietary restriction I cannot have any rice. Zucchini noodles were perfect. I will definitely be going back. Also a regular size was very filling.
The spicy tuna & salmon here are the best Ive ever had, and theres a great selection of other options & toppings to make whatever bowl you want. Definitely a new favorite of mine!
Quickly made an was able to run in an grab. Delicious an fresh. Order the Tuna bowl with brown rice, avocado and there spicy sauce. Its the best. Will always be a go to spot.

Theyre bowls are amazing. My personal favorite is the Rainbow bowl. Friendly staff and lots of specials all around. Clean place too. Shame though, I definitely think they deserve to have a lot more business.
What a pleasant surprise. We brought in lunch from here and it was awesome. At $12 for a bowl, its a deal. Many fresh options are included. The biggest complaint I could come up with was that the bowl they use was too full and there was no room to mix the ingredients without making a bit of a mess. That was the only negative I could come up with... Really. This is simple food, so fresh matters and they got that right. If youve never had poke before, what are you waiting for?

Walked in and walked right back out, everything is out in the open bugs flying around and landed on what looks like shrimp. Lady walked in about her order that she pre-ordered over the phone and nothing was ready for her she ordered 4 bowls. Fish looks like its been sitting outside all day.

It was our first time going and we were spoiled by amazing poke from the city. So we were skeptical but we were happily surprised over how great the food was. The service was great and the place was very nice. Overall great experience and we can’t wait to return.

If your hungry and like seafood this is where you want to be.I had a large build your own bowl with spicy tuna, crab, and eel with a white rice base. Topping it with cucumber, tomatoes, ginger, garlic crunch, seaweed, and eel sauce. It was downright amazing! Definitely filling in every way.Not to mention the price was certainly worth food. It may seem a little expensive until you compare what your getting in other places and how full you will be.Will be coming back for different combinations.

Extreme small portions from someone who seemed to not know what he was doing. He was giving my girlfriend small portions too and the owner saw and gave her a lot more each. Food was really not that good. I asked for eel and he put ONE piece of eel in the microwave and gave it to me at the end. Not comfortable atmosphere.
My friend who goes there often that they know her took me for my first time & the person behind the counter remembered me a week or 2 later when I took my mom there (she asked where my friend was). She kept pushing for seafood items that I had to politely decline each time (we were sharing a burrito & my mom doesnt care for seafood items). They have yuzu & ponzu which is AWESOME! (Its basically soy sauce cut with either lemon or lime juice) *Warning: There is a overpowering fish smell if you are taking it to go that will linger for a bit, it does disappear but was jarring to have that in your face in the car. Ill update my review some time in the future mom is interested in getting a scallop filled bowl.

I tried this place today and I was really happy I found another lunch place to add to my work week. The food was fresh and tasty, and the place was very clean...which I always look for first. Very affordable prices and nice selection of dishes. Looking forward to going back with some office friends.
Pretty good and not too expensive
My fav poke bowl in the island. The Chef behind the glass counter so nice and every time I ask for extra rice she smiles at me and gives me extra rice. I dont think Im getting extra rice but she makes me believe I am.
Food was verygood and they have many healthy options. The workets were very patient explaining how to build your Poketo Bowl. Prices are reasonable and they deliver in the Merrick Bellmore area.
I just happen to very much enjoy this type of food. To me, it can be pretty guiltless. If you dont like raw fish/sushi type food, this is not for you. Otherwise, delicious.

Been going to this place for a while but my last three times ive been here have not been good 1st time found a staple in the poke bowl and thankfully saw it before i took a bite 2nd time my friend got sick from there eel which he described as tasting off and 3rd got there food last night didnt think much of it till today but all the contents in my bowl were warm and i also had violent food poisoning at 10 this morning after these three times ive had it do not go here should be inspected by department of health very questionable on how they operate
Fine poke place in an area that seriously needed one. As for Tiffany Lin: Shes written only one review, cant write grammatical English, and by all accounts appears to be a burner account from a competitive eatery.
Just came here for the first time tonight and OMG sooo good!! Had a custom made burrito and wow was it delicious. Can’t wait to come back!! Really nice people that work there too. Thank you Poketo!!
This is my go to spot for great poki. The woman who runs/works there is a delight and it always a pleasure to pick up my meal. Highly recommended

Not happy with the food. The salmon fish and all other raw food sit there for a long time in the sun which looks really gross. Hope not getting sick

2022-07-18Poketo is an amazing spot!Everything on the menu is freshly made to your liking with numerous options to pick from. Really is for anyone, vegetarian, vegan, or a meat eater. I love to try different mixes.Great staff and atmosphere!

2022-05-20The food tastes really good! But they have raised their prices and they are giving smaller portions of everything now; toppings included. The girl behind the counter doesnt even fill up the bowl.. so Im paying more for a bigger size that isnt even full. Before they raised the price I used to get bowels that were actually full. While I was on the line waiting, I kept hearing the customer before me ask for more stuff and I was wondering why. It was almost every item he was asking for more. When she got to my order ---it made sense. The good still tastes great, but if you are going to increase your prices and give less food on top of that.. what is the point? Anytime I asked for more of anything she literally counted what she gave me or said I already gave you it. They dont even fill up the serving spoon. Such a disappointment. Will have to venture out to see if theres another place near by.

2022-08-08One of our go-to takeout places when we dont have time to cook. Very fresh ingredients, generous portions, and good pre-set options or the ability to build your own bowl. We have both ordered ahead and used the dry erase sheets at the front - while theres always consistently someone else coming or going when we are, its never so packed that you cant just stop in and get it made while you wait.

2018-07-22The Poke bowls are so good!!! I’ve had other places and it’s def one with a fresh selection. Nice and quick easy lunch or dinner. Affordable ! The spicy tuna is consistently fresh and the staff is very friendly! If you’ve never had Poke before you must try it.

2021-09-08I live about 20 minutes from Poketo and there are many other places that are a lot closer to me but I would rather drive 5 towns over because Poketo is so much better than any other Poke places around. Everything is extremely fresh, and the portions are really big. They really do make the best poke bowls around.

2019-03-20Discovered this place via a friend from work...love the food...its like sushi without the rolls in a bowl...you can pick and choose what you like, girl working there is helpful, polite and best of all...fast. she handled the online orders and face to face orders like a champ all by herself... definitely coming back. if my wallet could afford it, I would eat here every day......
