Nails were unevenly shaped, took an hour just shaping up the acrylic nail with the acrylic powder. Asked for clear nail tip they told me they had it when they did my nail it was too late it was not clear. Nail broke off in one week.
Updated review- Decided to go post pandemic closing cause my toes needed help! And I was greated by Helen she didnt look like she wanted to be at work. The water was cold just like her attitude and she rushed through the whole thing simply to go back and play in her phone. Youd think that by actually showing up to support a local business the attitude and service would continue to be great like before. I was thinking of doing a special pedicure since I hadnt been here in forever and she didnt even offer anything other than the regular one plus I still have a callus.*Previous review* Great, fast convenient customer service, will return!
Here is my story: I come to this salon for gel polish, when I leave $ 7 tips, the girls do it so that the manicure lasts for 3 weeks. When I leave $ 15 tips on the eve of the holidays, after 3 days the manicure spoils and I have to spend my time and money again to fix a few fingers.Guys why are you doing this? What is the point of doing something, Im not greedy for tips.Advice .. Do not leave a lot of tips as they will do something and thereby make you come again and again so that you spend more money.
Been going here for years, but it’s hit or miss with this place. And lately it’s has been only bad experience, I have been doing gel powder manicure and it’s cheeping off in a day or two, I don’t have time or money to go back here to fix their poor quality work. I went to a different salon and same gel powder service, stayed on for more than two weeks how it’s supposed to.
NAIL REVIEW ONLY.I went in on a Saturday at around 4:30 PM with my mother. It was busy but not packed so we were taken care of quickly. I always go for light colors, and my mother is at times more adventurous, but she just wanted plain white color today. She chose an Essie white, and I chose a very light pinkish color. The woman that did my nails said I had very beautiful nails and when I told her I wanted them very short, she was... displeased? She did not cut them as short as I wanted them, and didnt ask my the shape I wanted them. So although I always get them very short and round, I came out today with somewhat short and square. The technical work was okay and my nails look cute.When the woman that was going my mothers nail was about to apply the polish, she told my mother to choose another color because that one wasnt good. When she asked why, we just got a dismissal and were told again to choose another polish. So understanding that that particular Essie polish was not good (maybe dried off? who knows), my mother went and chose an OPI white. And AGAIN she was told not to get that one. Ive never experienced this. This is a paid service. Your job is to do your job right, not decide which color I want...Anyways, some although the work was fine, my mother came out with a color she did not want. The women were constantly speaking loudly in their language (I find this so disrespectful anywhere, no matter the language) and their work as, all in all, pretty good.Overall, my mother was overall happy with the work and had plans to come back for a pedicure in a few days. Id come back too. Its only 10 minutes away from my house, and considering all the other pretty bad places on Fresh Pond in Middle Village...
I love it here! Best place hands down Tina is awesome as well as others there as well show them any design on your phone and they can make it happen. Love coming here and getting pampered wouldnt change it for any other place I recommend all my friends here.

I haven’t been here in ages I came down to get my pedicure done I wanted them long so I asked for ARYLIC Overlay and the worker gave me sns dip powder made them short when I told her I wanted them longer and asked her if she can start over she gave me attitude and started speaking in her language I was very uncomfortable and I wanted to leave at that point would not recommend
The people are nice, but very old nail polishes, got my toes done, two days later it came off, got gel manicure and didn’t even last a week. please get some new nail polishes for god sake
Cheap and quality wash cut and blow outs. Very satisfied with my nails and the prices. My pedicure wasn’t amazing but it was decent.
Tina is amazing. They honour appointments and have skilled techs. One of the best salons in the area

Terrible experience they get a attitude if you tell them to fix your nails the way there supposed to be and they don’t take there time to actually make your nails look good and my pedicure was very sloppy def would never go back here

2021-09-04I’ve been coming to this salon I think about 7-8 years now and each and every time, I’ve had a positive experience with each and every nail tech there: Tina, Helen, Linda, Ada—and Jay—have treated me with the utmost respect and have given stellar service to me. Below are just some of the AWESOME work that’s been done. I plan on coming here until the end of my days!! Even if I moved out of Queens, I’d come back here!

2022-06-23I pass to let you know that when a customer chooses a color, its what the customer wants. They are the one who is paying for it. You dont go against Customer desire. She tried her best to do the job but didnt listen to what I wanted to the point that I wanted to leave with whatever color and tip with five and give an ugly face. Are you kidding me? Never again would you see me.

2020-03-03I’ve been a customer for about 5 years and I always recommend this salon. Love coming to get my tips and gel manicure done. Tina is your tech for designs and accuracy! Jay and Helen are good as well! I also like coming for a wash and blow. Definitely a good salon in Ridgewood to go to.Here is some of Tinas work. (Don’t mind the color correction on the fingers..I wasn’t tanned in the winter lol)

2021-02-06I have been coming here for almost 6yrs. Everyone is amazing. When I get my nails done, I always leave happy and satisfied. Let me also mention that their hair stylist does an amazing job. Here is a photo of my daughter relaxing while having a mani and pedi done.

2021-12-21Very unpleasant experience, I went there first time and I’ll never go back. I asked for highlights done on the roots, I was told to be charged 80$-120$.When hairstylist Grace was done with my hair, she told me she spend 3 hours with me and asked for 180$ ???I’ve been doing highlights for past 10 years and high end hair saloons ask for 150$ for doing whole head of highlights which takes 3 hours to do.I asked to speak to manager, rudely none of the staff was able to tell me who the manager or the owner is.

2019-09-12VERY BAD. I really DONT recommend this place. I did my manicure 4 days ago and when I complain about color on my nails they letting me on face - its have to change a color. Very unprofessional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2021-08-12Great service! No thrills, straight to the point attitude and super affordable. Also quick which on top of great results is so rare. I got bob haircut by Grace, pedicure and eyebrows by the owner. Super happy!

2020-11-07I absolutely love coming here, Ive been coming here every 2 weeks FAITHFULLY for 3 years! Tina is wonderful really works with you, makes sure everything is perfect. But whenever my schedule messes up I definitely go see Jay or Helen, they never disappoint me with their amazing work! Everyone here is fantastic, super friendly always helpful. It’s hard picking a good nail salon but I’m glad I found the perfect salon for me.
