This place is wonderful! Havent hand chicken like this a very long time! My first time in this Pollo Campero establishment and I fell in love! The staff is great,very attentive and the versatility of language an A+. Came in for lunch and hand to return for dinner to carry back home. Very well managed! Thank you!😋

I ordered pick up last week and my boyfriend forgot to check the order before leaving. The order was not correct. I called and spoke to the manager Miralda the following day who offered to replace the meal. The manager was professional and remediated the issue quickly which you don’t find often these days.The food here is amazing, reasonably priced and the seasoning is great!A must try for the neighborhood and MIRALDA needs to be promoted! Great customer service!

This is by far the best Pollo campero en NYC, not only the food is delicious but the store is always clean, they have great customer service and the manager is always polite and available if you have any problems with the app. If you ever find yourself in queens this is the spot to be for fried and grilled chicken. 🤤

I was served cold french fries with my order. The manager came out and asked me what the problem was and I explained the situation. She took the cold french fries and she went back to the cooking area. While I was waiting I started to eat some of my food before it became cold. When the manager came back with hot french fries and saw me eating she said no eating were closed. Mind you they close at 9:00 p.m. and it was 8:30 p.m.
DO NOT EAT HERE. Beyond disgusting, I saw multiple roaches crawling around. Not to mention the grilled chicken had a hair in it. I wish there was a zero stars option because this musty place doesnt deserve any. If You Want some real chicken go to the popeyes across the road! I hope they do not delete my review since they always seem to do so. What a joke. #corupt
The Grilled chicken was delicious with full of flavors! And we also enjoyed the sides of healthy corn salad and coleslaw!

In a few words the chicken is flavorful and tasty. I just devoured a two piece (one grilled and one fried), mashed potatoes along with 2 empanadas. For less than ten dollars its a tasty satisfying meal. Whenever I dont want to cook I make my way to Pollo Campero and always enjoy!

Closest thing to the taste of back home. Esmeralda is excellent, her customer service very impeccable, that of all her associates too. I usually order 3x a week and this place always delivers.
A couple of days ago I bought an 8 Piece fried chicken meal. i bit into one of the pieces and it was undercooked and still bloody. ever since then, my stomach has been extremely upset. my mother bit into another piece and it still had feathers in it!!!! im super disappointed.

I made an error and ordered my food for pick up instead of delivery. The manager E. Flores called me and went above and beyond her duties to make sure I got it delivered She was so kind and considerate. We need more of her. My children and I THANK YOU Ms. Flores.

I had such an incredible experience at Pollo Campero. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I was suggested by the cashier to try the Horchata and I can now say I love it. The chicken was very juicy, both the fried and grilled. Everything had such great flavor. I cannot wait to come back and use the coupons I was given after I placed my order. Everyone was so attentive of our table. Excellent customer service, this establishment radiates an exceptionally different atmosphere than the other restaurants in the area.
The food is always great here (their flan is the best I’ve ever had!) and the staff are really nice. I have been here several times and will continue to keep coming back :)

Had a great experience at Pollo Campero Jamaica. The food was absolutely delicious. Customer service was so great, I thought I was at home and the employees were extremely friendly and willing to answer my questions as I was Hesitant to try the new chicken wings. I asked for their favorites and I ordered them. I think that having employees try the food they are selling is an integral part of the success of the restaurant because they can recommend menu items to customers. I had a great experience and I look forward to being in the area again to have son yummy food!!

Because we love the grilled chicken so much we opted to cater a family dinner from Pollo Campero. The chicken did not disappoint but the pottion sizes of the sides sure did! I ordered the medium option from the catering menu and was delivered medium trays barely half filled with the sides I picked. For the overall cost I felt we should of recieved a full tray.
The chicken is delicious with a unique flavor. The restaurant is clean and the staff is really friendly the food is well packet to go or well server to stay.... Thank you to the amazing staff of pollo campero the price of the chicken worth the way you serve us. Service here is like a 5 Star casual restaurant. People complain to much but always great deals here to eat.

I live in Corona, Queens and there is a pollo campero by my house but I only come to this location because the service is UNMATCHED! This is the only location that makes me feel safe, COVID guidelines are always enforced, literally no one is let inside without a mask. And the cashiers always have the best attitude day or night :) i would not go anywhere else

I lowkey feel nauseous after eating their 6pc boneless chicken combo and kinda regret buying it even though I was starving. The French fries were good, but everything else was for sure a dub. I couldn’t tell if the chicken was raw or old. I ordered my food and over a duration of time 3 people came in and ordered food and got their orders and left before I got my food. My food wasn’t even fresh, which was what I was hoping the wait was for.Will not be returning.
The food is delicious, but the customer service definitely needs improvement. Moist of the staff give off the impression if your not Spanish, or dont speak it you shouldnt be there! They make you wait, look at you like you should already know what & how they prepare the food. Ultimately the food is good, but be prepared to wait & receive cold & dismissive service

Busy lunchtime. Long lines as cashiers dont know what they are doing. Food good. Staff poor. Doesnt always have grilled chicken. Convenient location. Recently you need to speak Spanish or staff gives a hard time. They said no habla English when I asked for a manager.
Took 30+ minutes to get an order of 3 pieces of chicken, granted that I came in today at around 8:30 pm, and placed my order around 8:35 pm (they close at 9 pm). Also, the chicken was burnt, employee handed over my order with disgust in her face, and also no apologies from any of the staffs for a half an hour delay. Never had this kind of an experience at the Corona location, even if I went there near closing. Will not come back to this establishment again.
Im strictly reviewing the sit down portion of the restaurant -Small yet cozy with a great atmosphere. The food is very good - I ordered a chicken Francese and my girlfriend ordered some fish thing. However portions are small relative to the large price tag. Ill still come here because I like the environment and the service.
Do not eat here. My friend has been suffering from food poisoning for about three days. And he only at the fries from here. They dont wear gloves. Hes thrown up multiple times in the night and had no choice but to sleep on the toliet. Eat here at your own risk.Update: Ive already called and given you the information. I called you personally to tell you. I sent you the text of the recipet like you told me. I have not heard back till now.

Pollo campero is the best I work for a fast food restaurant but I cross the street to buy my 3 pieces meal with my yuca fries and one extra side of plantains. Everything here is delicious. The cashier is amazing always friendly, kindly and helpful. She help me save money I come to buy 16 pieces chicken but the prices was almost the same as 20 so I take 20. Only one thing I try to tip her with my card but she said no sorry I dont accept tips.. Hope you take care of your cashier with really good bonus even when I saw how some people come mad to her shes always happy to help the next person in line. Great customer service no regrets over the service and the food.
Found this place by accident. The salad is good. The nuggets were hard but 30 seconds in the microwave and they were perfect.

Pollo campero in jamaica has a good Deals also I prefer the chicken from this location because is not to greasy and is flavor remind me the one in El salvador is most closely in flavor then other locations. The grill is delicious too and the kids meal is the best deal for then no food no ice cream 😊. The cashier welcome you with a funny question the waitress was nice and said enjoy your meal while she serve me. The manager was visible and ready to said have a nice day sweethearts when we were on our way out... Is funny but they kindness make me to come back again with my family Thank you!! I went in at 9:30pm to order food to eat in, but they had already started cleaning the dining room. When I said my food was “to stay” the cashier said “oh!” Then she looked into the dining area, after a silent moment of awkwardness she said “ok”. I was out by 9:45pm but they made me feel like it’s not ok to eat there after 9:30
The fried chicken is amazing! They have a friendly staff . Plus, the place is very clean and the service was fast. It was my first time & I actually was really pleased with the service & saved money. The pollo campero jamaica In my opinion, their fried chicken is better than other franchise plus they offer more side choices and bigger servings compared to other fast food restaurants. The fried chicken has a delicate crispy crust and is moist, cooked to perfection. The Latino sides are delicious and taste very healthy. The corn salad had dark greens, pumpkin seeds, the lighter Mexican style cheese,and fresh, juicy cherry tomatoes. The plantains are sweetly delicious. Your prices are higher but the food worth the price. They have creamy campero sauce is delicious. Finally, I also like their grilled chicken, which is probably a little healthier than fried and is also very very good. Oh I almost forgot… They have a clean bathrooms and the lobby is really clean too. We come probably at least twice a month. But usually we Take out, by the way, was very quick! The cashier and the Servers were friendly!
I asked for a 8 pcs combo for almost $30 dollars and when I came home what I saw in the box was six small wing pieces and two drum sticks same small, all of them tasted burn out , honestly Im not going back to that restaurant is a waste of money
A much better chicken than the typical places around and they have empanadas which are very good. Generous offers on their receipt for doing theirs survey. Looks like my third meal here is free.

By far this place has some of the best chicken Ive ever had in my life. That may be a heavy thing to say but their chicken, fried or grilled is sublime. The Yuca fries are also good, the plantains are made well and the atmosphere is nice. The reason this isnt a perfect 5 and more of a 4 1/2 stars is that its a bit on the pricey side. I paid $10 for a 3 piece combo and a drink where I couldve paid $2-3 less elsewhere. I may be a bit nitpicky but I feel that the drink should have been included with the combo, I gladly wouldve paid $8 for that but thats the only flaw of the place. I definitely recommend this place to anybody wanting to go someplace different from the typical fast food joint, the food is too good to pass up. Just bring some extra money with ya, this stuff aint cheap.

I visit pollo campero Jamaica today and I order a half special chicken to stay and 38 pcs of the traditional fried chicken to go the cashier was helpful I was hungry and she offer me this special to stay while she was preparing my order they repeat the order and bring it to my table when it was ready my wife love it because was only thighs and legs so our family dont have to fight because they get wings funny but they dont like wings neither breast they love the chicken skin so they prefer the legs and thighs thank for the suggestion and the great service.

I have been looking for good American style fried chicken for a while in jamaica ( there are a lot of good places offer peruvian style grilled chicken, i know). One of my friends told me to give this location a try. When I come today at lunch the place get full quick the grilled chicken is the one that sold fast the fried chicken also but come out quicker than the grill. The side that took my heart was the corn salad and the yuca this options are different than other places. Is a unique option they have the chicken is delicious my experience was great the customer service was totally good. Thank you!!You have a new customer.

Very discriminatory practices when it comes to Uber blocking certain buildings and addresses for no apparent reason other than discrimination. When I use the house next door to my building, this restaurant appears, but when I use my own address right next door, this restaurant disappears. What is the reason behind this discrimination?

There is no need for you to contact me again and I would rather you didnt. This food is horrible. The chicken was very dry (I had the baked chicken), the plaintains were greasy. The only edible portion was the yuca fries. Never again!
Jamaica Center location - I received some BOGO coupons in the mail so tried the place out.. Delicious chicken! Their sandwiches have big breast pieces and the crispy fried and grilled are both done great. Free drink refills! Sides are good too but the French fries are so/so, Yuca fries Yum. Discrimination of Non-Hispanic PeopleI have been to this fast food establishment quite a few times. I have always felt a hint of we are not here for your kind but tonight I got the full treatment of discrimination. I ordered and chose a seat in the dining area. The table was dirty from the prior customer as was the floor. I asked for the table to be cleaned. It was cleaned, wiped and left wet. I cleaned it dry. My food was delivered to the table and I ate. After eating, I drank one cup of water. While drinking my 2nd cup, I decided to move to a bench seat with no table in front of it for more space (6 months pregnant). About 15 minutes later, the manager came over and said Ms. We are closed. I said Ok. However, I noticed she was going back behind the register instead of informing other customers of closing. I asked her why she didnt tell others she was closed. She said because they are eating. I said I am still drinking and just finished eating. She said your only allowed to be here 20 minutes and your not eating now. I said I am a customer. I have my receipt. If you make an announcement about closing, it should be for all customers not just me. Then she started telling other employees in Spanish about our discussion and they began starring at me. She also began repeating the 20 minute policy from behind the counter. I told her to call the police. She said she would if I didnt leave. I asked for her name. She said she didnt have to give me her name because she was closed. All of the other customers in the restaurant were clearly Hispanic. I am not. Before leaving, i told her she was rude and disrespectful and i askef her if i was being targeted because i didnt speak Spanish. She said You think what you want to think. I left, and the other customers were still there sitting at the table talking, not eating.
Their empanada choices, and quality were very nice. Staff was both helpful, and attentive. Facilities were well kept. Visited during the lunch hour. Thank you,

2022-03-05Wow their chicken is so moist and flavorful. The mashed potatoes with gravy was great as well. Dont get the Flan. Its definitely not authentic Spanish style flan. Everything else was excellent 👍🏻

2020-10-31We tried 12-Piece Family Meal with half grilled chicken & half fried chicken this time. The grilled chicken was so tender, juicy and flavorful. It’s much better and worth to order than the fried chicken.The family meal came with 3 sides and tortilla or dinner rolls. The corn salad is our favorite, appetizing and healthy. The dinner rolls were too dry and blend, we would choose all tortilla next time.Pollo Campero is definitely a solid place for fast food with reasonable price and great portion.

2021-05-25I like this home feels this place had . I took my toddler for lunch and it was comfortable. Clean , friendly , and service was awesome . I like home they bring your tray to your table that helped me tons. I had a chicken salad which was a good size . I love the bowls!

2022-07-10I had the 2 piece fried chicken with mash potatoes and horchata. Everything was good andPackages well. I enjoyed the mash and horchata. However the chicken was a bit too salty for me. I could only eat one piece but couldnt continue due to the amount of salt the chicken had.

2022-05-05The king of chicken in queensI got the Campero Bowl with Fried Chicken and a side of Yuca Fries. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, crispy, but also very soft. The Ycua fries were crispy and not greasy. Perfect lunch.

2019-05-15Im so glad that I accidentally discovered this gem of a restaurant. This stores roots first began in Guatemala and Im so glad that they decided to expand their business globally. There are several stores located throughout NY and NJ and several others located throughout the USA. This is family-owned business that is still owned by the patriarch of the family and has been in business for over 45 years.This is my third visit to Pollo Campero. I can be completely honest but I didnt think that the food was going to be as good as it was. They definitely set me up because it was delicious and quite flavorful without being salty. There are many sides that they offer with the meals. Ive tried the beans with sausage, fries, corn salad and mashed potatoes which were all scrumptious.The fried chicken, oh how I wish that I had the secret recipe for this flavorful and tasty chicken. I love good fried chicken and this definitely suits my palate and made my tummy extra happy. The citrus grilled chicken, oh me oh my, simply delightful.You can either takeout or dine in at Pollo Campero. If you dine in, you are asked to take a seat and your order is brought to you. The employees are very kind and helpful. There is music playing at a decent level. The atmosphere is quiet and comfortable where you can enjoy your meal and savor the food.Pollo Campero is my new go to place for flavorful chicken and great service.

2022-01-23I never heard of them before tonight but OMG! There food is good and I love the fact they have yuca fries. Usually I only find yuca fries at churrascarias. I will def order again.
