Visited Belgium about 6 years ago and fell in love with their fries. I was so exited to come across this place. The fries taste just as good and I love their sauces. The TLC (Tequila, lime, chile) is the best sauce to me. The truffle sauce was good and I lovvvved the pomegranate teriyaki. We also tried the curry ketchup. And i love vinegar on my fries so the malt vinegar was perfect for me. I love that you can order from outside and then walk in to get your food and the friendliness of the staff!
Crispy fries and decent size but bit expensive with taxes and toppings.I got a olive oil bass fries with cheese and sweet chilli sauce for me and my kids and it was good but not filling enough .They have 1 outdoor seating which was okay since It’s not coldThey are pretty much fast with their serviceThey have a lot of fries and slushies
Good fries, but sadly didn’t meet my expectations.I am European and have had fries in Belgium and the Netherlands countless times and that’s what I hoped for.I am personally not a big fan of double cooked fries bc they can easily get dark and too greasy. Also they were super little and short, so it was impossible to dip them (could be back luck, maybe we got the rest of a batch fries). The sauces were moderate. Wouldn’t go back.
I initially didnt believe this place had great fries to enjoy for the price. However after visiting Pommes Frites, they have made me a believer in that such foods as fries with some really good sauce and they have plenty to appease your tongue. I didnt try the wine or Belgian Beer, which would have added to the experience and also eating inside would have really made this a five star review, the seating is limited for a location in Greenwich Village on Bleecker St. Thats not too bad. The fries make it worth your wild. Trust me you wont feel disappointed here.
I love this place and still recommend it. I think its great business idea! But guys are too lazy to cook new fries, giving me leftovers... its potatoes, they dont coast anything, to you, to me it does. Cook fresh. Truffle mayo was just mayo. They tried to convince me they dont have mayo, of course because all the mayo have been put in “Truffle mayo sauce”.Its not the employees fault, but who ever is in charge of this place.Than you!Keep loving potatoes
Usually, I have a decent experience going to this restaurant. However, I feel upon coming back with a take out order, I noticed that the portion for the Double Belgian Fries was less than expected. The truffle fries was pretty good and just about right, but for some reason, the double order seems to have been lacking that attention to portioning it correctly. Not a bad place to grab some fries, just be mindful of the time and day when grabbing some delicious bites. This happened today, and I was literally the only person there ordering too.
4.5 stars - unfortunately they were short staffed so we had to wait 20 minutes outside so they didnt open until 11:20am, but as someone who used to spend a LOT of time in Belgium & The Netherlands, this is exactly what to expect from a true Frites shop. Amazing chips (not fries!)
The absolute best fries ever. they are cut thicker and cooked to absolute perfection. you have crispy oily fries, you have soft potato-y fries.. you have everything. plus a plethora of dips (the truffle mayo ketchup parm combo is my favorite)(also thankfully this place is delicious, because can you imagine a fries-only place that didnt have good fries...)
I came here with recommendations from a couple of friends, and I have to say, I am definitely not disappointed. The fries are juicy and thick, and put any other fries to shame. Theres nothing quite like these fries.Im a broke and hungry college student, so while I may not pick this place for my daily routine due to the price (be prepared to drop at least $10-$13 per person), I cant say that the price is unfair as the quality is top notch and I left feeling extremely satisfied.I enjoyed the taste and had difficulty eating the last bits (I ordered the large poutine), which I cant say for many other places. The poutine is to die for, and the next time I come, Im not getting the normal poutine, Im getting that special version they have.As for the ambience, its pretty nice and relaxing, what with the low lights and relatively comfortable seats. Pommes Frites is a quaint little restaurant with a decent-ish amount of space, so if you do manage to get a seat, I would highly recommend sitting down to eat there.9/10, Im definitely coming here again.
I found this place on Pinterest and really wanted to visit because my husband has never met a potato he didn’t just love. This place was heaven for him! There were so many sauces and we were having trouble choosing. The staff member working was so kind and helpful and led us in the right direction - Rosemary garlic! The fries were crispy on outside and nice and chewy on the inside. This is a must visit for a snack!
Double fried yummy 🤤 McDougall street is “college street” full of eateries that are delicious, affordable and open super late!!! Get regular size it is plenty! I did not like the mushroom sauce! Try their horseradish sauce it was good and their mango sauce is good if you like sweet dips.
BEST FRIES YOU WILL HAVE outside of Belgium. You can be stuffed and still walk by this place and take one look at what someone else has and when that smell just hits you, you cannot help but go in yourself. It’s an absolute MUST! And not to mention the literal best food post night out!
As a vegetarian, I went to try the impossible poutine. It was my first time having poutine so I’m not sure how this compares to the traditional kind. The cheese curds were yummy, but I wasn’t a big fan of the gravy or the soggy fries. Guess I should’ve gotten something else haha. The impossible meat wasn’t super flavorful. Wouldn’t have the dish again. But it’s a great place for a late night snack
Phenomenal! Just like the fries I love so dearly in Europe 😁 staff is friendly, atmosphere is perfect and prices are on point. 6.75 for a small fries with many choices for free sauces. In addition you can purchase additional more creative sauces to dip your perfect fries into. Thia is most definitely going to be a frequent place I visit! So delicious!!
Large quantity of fries, thick in cut and cooked to the perfect balance of soft and crispy. Full of flavor. They let you taste the sauces before placing an order which is great, because we tried the mango chutney which was highly rated and we weren’t so impressed. Instead we went with the wild mushroom sauce and it was really really good. It’s large enough for a single persons meal, and quite worth the money. we took the hot sauce on the side table aswell, and it added the perfect zing. Overall a very tiny place, but it’s mostly never empty.
Pretty simple menu. Perfectly cooked frites that are dropped in after you order them. A zillion sauces that are worth trying. My son is a french fry fanatic and absolutely loved this place. He said they understand me here. This should be everywhere. Also a pretty good deal for NYC, unlike every other overpriced restaurant.
I would say I wanted to visit this store for the longest while! Coming in, one thing I was really happy about was how hygienic the store was because there was easy access disinfectant wipes, sink, soap, and paper. I had just taken the train there and I definitely would not have wanted to touch my fries with my hands! I tried the truffle sauce and one other sauce but I found myself liking ketchup the most but that’s my own preference. I didn’t really like the fries because I found mine to be not crunchy or flavored but just a bit mushy and dull tasting. I wouldn’t say it was a let down but I expected more from the prices. The time that I came in, there were seats to sit around but I wouldn’t recommend coming here in a big group!
I love Belgium fries! This is the first time I visit this place. Although not the exactly same taste as the Belgium fries I had before, this is very good. The fries are put into a cute paper bag and on each table theres a hole to put the fries. Very interesting design. The fries portion is quite large so the regular size is enough for a meal. The only thing is that they dont offer you free water.
Honestly its just fries..so I thought. My friend selected this place, because she love steak fries. We each order the regular aka the small, and one order would have fed us all. If you are going to just try them out, I suggest ordering one order of fries, and everyone pick the sauces the want to try.Plan on not finding a spot to sit, cause this is a small spot with limited seating.
This place is something else. First thing, who gave potatoes the right so be so damn tasty and who gave Pomme Frites the right so serve them as perfectly as they do? Listen, I’ve been coming to this place for years, ever since it was at the previous location near St.Marks. These are the best fries you will have. I don’t care if you’ve only had skinny fries, curly, sweet potatoes, air fryer fries, I don’t give a damn, you will walk out of this place a Belgian fries loyalist. On top of this they also have poutine and while I’ve never had poutine in Canada, I seriously find it hard to believe it could get much better than this. The prices are extremely fair for the portions. I only get doubles, anything less is a testament that I no longer love myself. My terrific trio of sauce last are pesto, pomegranate teriyaki, and roasted garlic. Don’t know what sauces you want? Ask for a sample and they’ll give you some fries with a few dabs of the sauces. There’s beer, wine, water, and likely. A few other things to wash down the potato goodness. Look, just go here and order something, sit and relax, and watch you’re worried fade into nothing. When God gave humans the right to taste, this is why he intended us to use that sense for.
Even though the place is small, you really get to love those fries. It is a good place to visit once in a while, and enjoy those tasty fries. So far, I have only tried the Regular Fries with the following sauces: Roasted Garlic, Frite Sauce, Cheese Cheddar, Parmesan Peppercorn and Special. The order represents which one I liked the most (being the first the most I liked). When we when, I ordered a Regular and a friend the Large. After seeing the size of Large, you can see regular is pretty close. I think for me, I wont need a Large. They sell beer and other regular beverages. Prices were really good, and quality of my fries were great. I like crunchier fries, but they were really good.
Amazing Belgian fries, freshly cooked and taste amazing. We opted for the famous mango chutney sauce (costs extra but ketchup/mayo is free) which was amazing. Reasonably priced and quite a decent portion. Gets busy but there is seating. Also love the fact that the tables have holes to put the chip cones in!
Have been going to Pommes Frites for years. Finally checked out the new location. Same great fries and toppings. Space is a little tighter (or maybe I grew) but still not too bad to grab a seat. On top of soft drinks, they now sell alcoholic beverages, so thats a nice added bonus, if thats your thing. Still the great quality, service and atmosphere of the old Pomme Frites, just in a new spot on the other side of downtown. Must try if youve never been.
Definitely great fries, but could be better. The truffle sauce is truffle flavored ketchup, I wouldve preferred something a little less overpowering but still with Truffle. Would be great if they offered an aioli. Seating inside is very limited so consider it non-existent, more of a grab and go deal here. The fries themselves were excellent and if you do get a sauce, ask for it on the side so the fries dont get soggy.
Absolutely the BEST fries I’ve ever had in my life! They are super crispy on the outside and tender and hot on the inside. For me, this is the best texture. They also have tons of sauce choices. I love the rosemary garlic sauce and their special sauce. It comes it large portions even for the smallest size!
I absolutely loved the fries here! Located on the very happening Macdougal street in East Village, it’s a great place for people who want to grab a quick snack in this part of town which is already teeming with a lot of food options. We got the regular sized fries which were honestly enough for one very hungry person. We decided to get the regular frites sauce instead of the other fancy sauces simply because we were in a fries and ketchup sort of mood. The only issue is that there’s not much space to sit inside so just take your fries outside and have them. Definitely coming back to try the mango chutney and the garlic chutney here!
Im the kind of New Yorker who has literally drvien from NYC to Montréal for dinner (on a work night) just to eat poutine at La Banquise before driving back down to work the very next morning. Thats how seriously I take poutine.Unable to make my annual pilgrimage to Québec this past year because COVID, Ive been craving poutine more than ever. I was delighted to learn that there was a small place in The Village serving Québécoise poutine, but I was rather sceptical how close it would taste to the sublime poutine on offer north of the border.Much to my surprise, the poutine at Pommes Frites far exceeded my expectations and taste very near to the poutine that Ive come to love in Canada. The only differnce is that Canadian cheese curds tend to be creamier and but in slightly larger pieces. But the dish was delicious nonetheless. The fries were crisp, the sauce brune deeply savoury and the cheese curds very fresh.Theres nothing quite like enjoying poutine in Québec, but Pomme Frites comes very close.
It was a great surprise to me ! The place is a bit small and you may pass right in front of it but be sure not to miss it ! The place is all about Fries so you only get to choose the size of the paper cones in which they are sold and the sauce that comes with it ! But they do have some great sauces. I loved the pesto one and the honey and mustard one but theres so much choice youll be sure find something that fit your taste.
First of all, French fries are just amazing... Then you add the many sauce options and its the happiest place on Earth! Check out the pineapple teriyaki and rosemary garlic! The staff was so friendly and assisted us in determining which sauces to choose. We were able to sample whichever sauce we wanted. Ended up sharing a regular + 2 sauces between 5 women (we had other restaurants to try). Definitely a great spot for a snack
Arrive before the dinner rush if you can! We were lucky and avoided a wait and were able to grab a seat effortlessly. The regular size is generous and I definitely recommend getting a few sauces to try. I loved the Thai one but its also hard to go wrong with malt vinegar. So much more than just fries here!
Great, interesting space to visit, but I felt like the fries and sauces could be better. For example, I didnt feel like the fries were quite as crunchy as other Belgian fry places, and the truffle mayo didnt taste like truffles and was a bit sour. Staff is friendly and provided good service.
First time going here it was amazing. The sauce choices is crazy. I would definitely go back again. It a small place but it was very cool on a hot day wit the kitchen right there. Pomegranate teriyaki sauce which was really nice. The curry ketchup was different too but tasted good.
Fun place with a medieval feel to it. It is exactly what it says it is... pretty much just fries. Rather good ones to. Slightly over cooked but still in the range of very good. What makes this place stand out is the wide variety of sauces. Everything from straight mayonnaise, to parmesan and garlic and so on. You can also go with the basics like ketchup and mustard. The serving sizes are large so you really dont leave disappointed. The fun part is that they are served in cones which one might thinks posing a problem until you notice their tables having holes in them. It isnt a large place with seating for maybe a dozen or so. I have heard the line can go way out the door though mid day on a Friday wasnt bad. I recommend satisfying your French fry craving here for sure!
Who doesnt love French fries?!?! The Belgium style fries at Pommes Frites are delicious; thick and fried just right so that they are crispy on the outside but still tender potato goodness on the inside! But the true stars here are all the amazing dipping sauces. Being Belgium, they are mainly mayo based. I suggest trying a few different ones to get different taste sensations! My personal favorite is probably the Rosemary Garlic... but there are plenty other options for all different taste buds. The truffle sauce (which mixed truffle mayo and truffle ketchup with some Parmigiano) was pretty epic. I also enjoyed the peanut satay for a very different flavor profile. And I know a lot of people that swear by the mango chutney! Also, they have now added frozen slushy drinks! My watermelon lemonade was the perfect addition to wash everything down!
Great little french fry dive, if thats a thing. Fries are cooked fresh and served up with a vast array of fry sauces that they have thought up. Very yummy, worth the visit. You can also grab some beer or wine to enhance your experience. Served in to go cone, but we stayed in ate in the small dining area because of the outside weather.
Its THE BEST place for fries!!!I ordered the small one with roasted garlic aioli but you can try free salsas too.I dont like mango and the owner made me try that salsa. Now Im a Mango Salsa Loverrrrrr! Its a very tiny place (20 ppl) so if you go, dont be afraid to seat with others. And again, best fries everrrrrr! (Small size its perfect for one hungry person) 👌👌👌👌👌
Wanted to try the fries based upon a review from a food tour Id seen online and also just because I love different sauces. Overall I though the fries were okay, Im not really into burnt fries and they really didnt have any seasoning on them so im thinking if Id gotten like the parmesan fries maybe I wouldve like them better, but I just thought the fries and sauces were ok.
Ive been eating these fries since they were at their 1st location in the early 2000s. The dipping sauces are unique and tasty. The fries the portions have gotten smaller and most of the time they are too hot to eat when you initially get them. Otherwise they are pretty good.
Trekked across town to get to this place. How did we know about it? Our son found it on Instagram and wouldnt stop asking about it. Hubs and I got beer while the kids chowed down on three regular size cones of fries. This place is soooooo tiny, but charming. They had good music and the Belgium beer went well with the fries I stole from the children. I felt the kids sauce choices were a little safe and went back for more exotic flavors. They were all tasty. The kids were stuffed and we were heroes for letting them eat Belgium fries for dinner.
Ive been a patron since high school. They offer free samples if you want to try before buying too! This is still the place I prefer to buy belgium fries because of the sauces and toppings they offer. Their new sauces are delicious too! They even have Poutine! I tried a place that was near their previous location on 2nd Avenue, and the other place does not compare. I dont mind coming to the new location, but still wish they had another shop on the east side. I recommend eatting the fries right there when it is hot-thats when they taste best!
Very delicious fries that are even better with one or two of the 30+ available sauces. It is hard to make the choice of which one(s). Very small eating area but people tend to filter through fairly quickly so there shouldnt be too much wait. Love the holes in the counters to let you eat your fries served in a cone-shaped package hands free. Will try to get back there again to try some different flavours.
Came here to see what the buzz was for this belgian fries place. They have Belgian fries with tons of sauce options. Basic ones are free but rest you have to pay. I wasnt too impressed with the flavors. If you are in the hood and need some quick fries, come and try it.
Over 30 Extraordinary sauces to select from at this authentic Belgian fries made from soft potatoes called bintjes, they are thick-cut and this is the key to double-fried. Served in a paper cone with the sauce of your choice. The fries have an addictive riot of textures: soft and fluffy on the inside, surrounded by a crunchy, greaselezs crust.Fun fact: Belgians eat their frites with their fingers or with small platic forks; it is typical to serve them with a dollop sauce.About the place: friendly service and the interior feels like old style European cavern hehe great for beer drinking
Small venue but cool vibe. The fries are crispy, delicious, and abundant. I got a regular size order and that was more than enough to share between two. Their sauce selection is wonderful, you have traditional sauces (ketchup, barbecue, mustard, mayo) and those that you wouldnt see anywhere else (vietnamese pineapple mayo, tequila lime, peanut satay, mushroom cheese, etc.). Definitely worth a stop for those who love fries and endless sauce options.
Cool place. Despite the fact that its small. Surprisingly, we did find a place to sit down. I had the large poutine for 7 dollars. Fries were great, gravy was great but the cheese curds... meh...... Expected better. Great experience nevertheless. Will be back to try their sauces!!!
This place has been a favorite for years now! However, first time going to there new location!! It is so spacious compared to the old place. The frites are mouth watering. If you never have been here before the options are both limited and endless. As there name states they sell french fries (correction Belgium fries) in my opinion are better! They are served in a cone and you get to choose your sauce. There are so many different flavor sauces if you get ketchup you are missing out to the amazing flavors. Do what I do try a new flavor everytime.
It is truly the best fries in New York City. Dont forget to try the Sweet Mango (all-time-favorite for everyone). I personally like Curry Ketchup, mixing it up with Onions gives you the best combination (which is Special Curry Ketchup). It might be crowdy so be prepare to wait if you want seating. Or you can always make it to-go and eat at Washington Square Park. And the sizes are huge, so make sure you know what size are you ordering they are not your typical McDonalds sizes. Dont forget to take a picture 📸 Have fun ✌️ (PS, my photo has: Curry Ketchup, Sweet Mango, Onions & Jalapeño, and Sundried Tomato Mayo in respective order; everything in my order is Vegetarian (per my knowledge) ).
I had a wonderful experience here last week. The woman behind the counter was so sweet and I never got her name but she looked like Carla from Scrubs lol. Anyway she gave me a sample of the garlic mayo and it was SO GOOOODDDDD. I ordered that with the parmesan herb mix and it was layered onto my fries 🤤🤤🤤🤤 It was the perfect mix of garlic mayo, parmesan herb, and fab customer service.
Hole-in-the-wall spot that sells fries and ONLY fries and does a great job at it. Crispy and double-fried, Belgian style, they also have an extensive menu of dipping sauces. Frites sauce is always free though, and a staple for first-timers! Doubles as my favorite spot to satisfy my poutine cravings in a pinch.
Could NOT believe they had traditional Belgian fries here!!! My boyfriend is Dutch and he was even impressed. They have quite a few non traditional sauces to choose from but we tried their most popular one (I believe it was mango mayonnaise) and it did not disappoint... maybe everything goes well with their fries?Great price and hefty portions. I suggest sharing with a friend.
Great place to satisfy your French fry cravings! They only have fries so you know theyll serve you fast. What make them stand out? Their variety of sauces! Choosing a right sauces makes huge difference on your pommesfrites! I recommend getting 3 sauce combo to find the right one for yourself!
The fries are outstanding, crisp on the outside & soft on the inside. Could use some salt. But the sauces were a disappointment. Everything seemed sweet & indistinguishable -- and we tried 3, including the free mayo-based one. Very non-descript. Staff wasnt very memorable either; typical of fast food establishments rather than something special. The one-stall restroom reminded me of a medieval dungeon/panic room (ask for the code then try to get out). We wont be back.
I love this place. They have different sauces for you to choose from plus they make awesome slushies. My favorite sauce is sweet mango chutney. I like to create my own slushier. I always get strawberry, pineapple, banana, and agave. The prices are very reasonable and if you fine in they check your vaccination card.
I love this place! Do go get some takeout fries from these folks- you wont regret it. The paper cones are chock full of fries that are crisp on the outside, soft inside. Great for a hungry person or sharing. They have an incredible variety of sauces so its always a new experience if you want. The place is lovely, but I recommend using the outside order panel for social distancing safety at the time of this writing.
The fries and different sauces are good. Definitely recommend the mango chutney and vietnamese pineapple sauce. Really enjoyed this place. The tables are adorable and have a slot to hold your cone. The only issue is there is limited seating. Other than that, its a cozy little shop.
If you want a break with a Belgian taste this place is the best option. Amazing fries in different sizes, you can easily share the couple come in two people, its huge! Then you just have to choose among a wide selection of sauces that they let you try. Go to Greenwich Village, enjoy the area and dont hesitate to stop here!
The only thing you can do to make fries better is adding a collection of fantastic sauces. Would recommend their parmesan peppercorn and their most spicy sauce but havent been disappointed by anything on their menu. The space is small and gets quite crowded so its probably easier for takeout.
Wish the fries lived up to the hype. Although the fries were good they simply tasted like regular fries, I was expecting something more spectacular given the hype. And my friend got the poutine and he said there wasnt enough sauce and it wasnt very good. Very disappointed
It is highly recommended for anyone who likes potatoes 🥔 the Pommes Frites offers a variety of chips, served by friendly staff in a medieval like atmosphere. The place is rather small so you might have a problem finding a place to sit but one can always order a portion for a take away.
I think there was nothing really special about the fires. Its the different sauces that make it worth it if anything. I tried 3 of their sauces which for their size is really expensive. It was 3-something for 3 sauces and since I was sharing with a friend we got a double. It just wasnt great the fires were meh the sauces while interesting were also ok. There are many other places that get fries done right.....this was just ok
This place is a hype for no reason. I read about this place online and saw a video so I was set with high expectations and was really excited to try it out. When I finally got around to it it was a pretty mediocre experience. I think the appeal is supposed to be the amount of fries or choices of sauces but neither are really great. Fries are cut thick (I understand Belgian fries are a specific cut but these were THICK) and had a very high starchy vs crisp ratio, and (creamy) sauces are fairly bland and probably from a bag. I also ordered a smoothie which was probably made from old fruit because i immediately became nauseous. Sorry if this is a Karen review but I paid $18.00 for overrated fries and sauces and enjoyed none of them. Ended up grabbing food from across the street. Absolute waste, you live and you learn dont make the same mistake I did. 1/10.
Best fries and sauces in NYC. Try some of the sauces they will not disappoint, through the years Ive tried most of the sauces and each has its own personality. Personally I like the pesto. It was very disappointing to see a tourist go all the way there and they just order ketchup, they have a world of options and they went with just ketchup.
I have been a diehard fan for 10 years. When Pommes Frites was looking for a new location, I checked their website weekly for an update. I bring everyone here - because there are sauce options for everyone (theyve got your vegans and gf homies covered). Its also just damn good. Theres more convenient seating in this location than the old one, but theres still not much. Luckily Wash Sq if its warm and you want to sit outside.
The fries were very good, its a great spot they had fresh potatoes cut up and fry them right in front of you. Super natural and taste great! You can add whatever sauces you want. Pictured is a regular size medium $6.50 I believe which is huge, couldnt finish it. But totally recommend! The staff is nice and friendly too.
Greenwich Village area is so fun! But Pommes Frites was a tad letdown? I was expecting incredibly flavored European style fries, but they were so bland, even with the sauces (Peanut Sauce and Mayo). Not particularly soft or even crunchy. Just meh. I guess I should go back and try the Mango Chutney everyone raves about. Hoping just the batch of fries I got was uninspiring - really hoping this replicated street vendor fries from Amsterdam/Bruges.
UNskipable delicious fries for all diets! Not only pomme frittes a New York staple, they have a huge variety of veggie, vegan, and gluten free sauces to choose from. For the Omni, try the pesto and truffle mayoFor the veggie/vegans the poutine and Irish curry are not to be missedGo ahead and spoil yourself!
I really enjoyed my time here its small but the fries are amazing... If i go back to New York i will definitely be going back here... The special sauces are amazing you will pay abit extra but it will be worth every cent... And plus they are so affordable and so delicious... #letsguide #localguidesconnect
Nothing like an excellent portion of french fries. A place of no frills, but delicious fries and sauces. Pretty sure they also have a couple of beers like Hofbrau or something like that. You can sit in, or take out and eat your giant bag of fries at Washington Sq park! They do poutine and have malt vinegar for you brits and canucks.
Oh well, this place looks very dirty, I hope that the management will get up full of energy, and will bring this place back to its old glory days.I absolutely loved it in the past!!The Fries are goodness and delicious, it’s the seating and the tables, and dark room that makes it uncomfortable….

2022-02-15FRIES GUYS for the win! Pommes Frites serves up French fries made-to-order with an overwhelming variety of sauces. the Belgian eatery’s interior is a little small, but the space is used really efficiently and there’s a good amount of seating inside as well as a table outside. the interior is clean, casual, and comfortable. highly advise to eat your fries at Pommes Frites or nearby as the fries are best enjoyed fresh.fries come in three sizes: Regular, Large, and Double. i normally get a “Regular” and that is plenty for one and can feed two people. there’s a small selection of free sauces but most sauces are extra (if you come in a group, get the 3 sauce combo so you can try different flavors). the fries come out hot and crispy—and soft and potato-ey inside. the garlic aioli; garlic rosemary; and irish curry are all great dipping choices as well as the free sauces like the “especial” (ketchup, euro mayo, and raw onions). there are heavier fries options like truffle fries and poutine. honestly, this is a great post-drinking option or a snack that you can walk over to Washington Square Park. regular fries are $6.50 + tax + tip.the staff are friendly and fries come out relatively quick.

2022-05-29It’s a French fry restaurant fam. The stuff legends are made of.Fries that can be ordered a few different ways with a veritable cornucopia of dipping sauces. It doesn’t get much better than this.We opted for the regular fries and got the curry ketchup, truffle supreme sauce, and the mango chutney sauce. Our favorite (by surprise) was the mango chutney.4 stars only because The fries weren’t 100% my preference, but hey I enjoyed myself and the staff was extra nice!

2022-04-24Delicious little place with SO MANY delicious sauces. Would recommend the 3 sauce option. Decent amount of fries for just the $9 regular option.

2021-12-05Nothing tops warm fries and delicious dipping sauces. This place is perfect for grabbing some beers and fries. There are seemingly countless sauces to choose from. You can have the sauce incorporated with the fries in the cone or get the sauce on the side for dipping.

2021-11-25We had the poutine, regular size, for about $9 in total. It had lots of delicious cheese curds and hot gravy, with jalapeños on the side, and tasted great. The fries were quite thick cut and perfectly cooked, not too salty either. The portion size was not bad and service was fast and good. The interior is really cute if youre dining in.

2022-06-09If you are hungry for fries 🍟 this is the place! Truly authentic Belgian fries are served here, really thick yet still crispy. They also have an exquisite selection of dipping sauces for the fries that is sure to cover anyone for whatever flavor you are looking to accompany the fry meal. And to top it all off . . . They have poutine!!
