Delicious! I really enjoyed the new chicken sandwich and the blackened chicken tenders. The dining area of the restaurant was clean. I went in at lunch time, placed a mobile order, and my order was filled in about 10 minutes. Getting out of the parking lot could be a little tricky depending on how busy the drive thru is.
The line on the drive thru was fast even though the line was long, but in their haste to provide faster service the boxes with the food wasnt closed properly. Im not blaming the check it guy this may have been coming from management to speed up wait times.I was standing there for at least 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that I was standing there. They were two managers processing orders another guy just standing around doing nothing but laughing and standing with the headset on. Another customer complaining about an order and they didnt pack what she asked for. One manager decided he was going to help me and he took my order which took about 5 minutes, he was clearly annoyed with the female customer because he packed the order and shes complaining thats not what she ordered. Popeyes and their management staff need to get it together. There were only 2 customers including myself in the store and I had to wait almost 20 minutes before someone took my order. The drive thru wrapped around the corner I was actually in the drive thru and decided to go home inside. Some Popeyes move faster all over. Theyre clearly making money so gure some staff
Worst services ever... this place does not have good customer services. They are rude and when you ask to speak to manager they ignore and avoid you. Also I purchase $30 worth of food and ask for utensils because it is not provided and condiments and they stated I had had to pay for it and when I said it came with the meal they said they ran out and ignore me. I do not know how you can run a business like this but I have contact the Better business bureau and Popeyes headquarters to let them know what location is to their brand. This is the only Popeyes I have had this issue with. DISGUSTING to the employee Greogery P!
Really good! Theyre currently only open for drive-through and pick-up orders. Family of 4. I got the $25/11piece with 2 sides and 5 biscuits. We rarely have much fried foods, but thats a great deal for a rainy day treat! The kids loved it! The line looked long, but was moving really well though. Theyre doing a great job. Thank you to everyone that was there working so hard to keep the food ready and lines moving!
This store shouldn’t even get one star. Literally makes everyone sit on line for 30 mins just to say there’s no sides, no chicken, no tenders… nothing. At that point just close for the day. Definitely not the first time it happened, and definitely won’t be the last. On top of it, the girl working the drive through wants to have a nasty attitude. If you don’t like what you do, then don’t work!!!! I don’t recommend this Popeyes.
What happened to this Popeyes?? No sides available, unless you order fries. Nothing else available? Then on top it all, you must pay cash! Whats up with this Franchise, if they dont take credit or debit cards. Is there a problem with them? The chicken was still okay, but the person taking my order sounded even more miserable than I did, because I had to take two sides of fried with my family combo! And the dining room is still closed...
Great food, great deals on the app and pretty fast service. Sometimes they get a lot and its a bit slower but thats mostly due to the pandemic cutting into their ability to hold people in the restaurant itself and dealing with the long drive through lines. Definitely would recommend ordering via the mobile app, parking near by since people block the parking lot usually and just walking in to pick up.
2/24/22Attempted to go there today for lunch, and its still lousy as ever. Someone cut me off in the Drive-thru line. Unbelievable. This is how people get blowback and end up eating lead-sammiches. The order-in experience is even worse than the Drive-thru. Avoid this place at all costs. Folks, just go to Shake Shack or Chick Fil A.4/2/21Cant believe it. I went at 11:45 AM to pick up lunch, to avoid the lines and them running out of chicken problem. Again, at the drive-up they said they ran out of Mild Chicken. The competition is watching their abysmal front line experience. Its only a matter of time before Chik-fil-A opens up a spot nearby, show them how to properly run a business and take business away from them.3/26/21This is the only fast food place that runs out of food on a consistent basis, or are not ready for customer orders at the beginning of the lunch/dinner period. Went there today at 11:30 AM, because I wanted to avoid the disaster of them always running out of food. Guess what, they told me they dont have the chicken pieces I wanted for my 2 Meals. This place is so badly managed, its ridiculous. You never know what misadventures you will encounter when you come to get food here, that will leave you angry and a bad taste in your mouth. Only reason I come is because the chicken is very good, however even I have my limits. I went to the Wendys down the road. I did not want to give Popeyes any business today...12/18/20Great food. Been going there since it opened (7-10 years?). Restaurant is kept very clean and the food is excellently prepared. Line/wait times can be long at peak periods (lunch/dinner). Warning advice, make sure you check your order, as they can sometimes screw it up. Happened to me more than a few times. A call to the manager later guaranteed me a satisfying reward on my next visit. Highly recommended.
These workers dont listen at all; when you place an order it is always incorrect. Ive never been inside this establishment therefore Im unable to comment on how tidy it is or isnt. However Ive purchased chicken requested legs and thighs I was given breast, the breast pieces was not fully cooked the inside was still pink, I tried calling the establishment no one answered. I would not be visiting this location again.
I ordered using mobile ordering. It’s the new way of ordering as you arrive and say your name and order is handed to you at window.I was able to request light ice at window as its not available on app.The food was good. Thought it was skimpy on red beans and rice.The biscuit was good and not rock hard as sometimes in the box.
I bought the 3 piece chicken strips with a side & biscuit it was awful the chicken was raw I bought it the first time I said it didnt taste right so I bought it today that chicken strips was raw then when u call noone answer they ask u what side u want I said Macaroni & cheese they charged me then when I the guy at the drive thru said he dont no they are terrible at this place the services sucks the Macaroni & cheese is a bis improvement from the watery Macaroni & cheese they had b 4 I was very upset about my meal when I got home the should refund me & teach them how 2 cook chicken tenders
The food was good. The only problem that I seem to constantly encounter is the shortage of chicken. I have gotten to the point that when I pick up from the location, I physically count the pieces. They get mad with me because I do this, but when I am short and they see it, they get even madder. Of course I dont care, just get the order right. Todays order I ended up spending $51.80 for 8 pieces of chicken. Instead of giving me the chicken that I ordered, they gave me 4 biscuits. I order the 12 piece chicken with no biscuits. On their website they show the 12 piece chicken with two sides. When I went to check out, the pricing changed to 1 side and $6.80 for the second side. I even let that go. The problem I encounter is there is four of us for dinner. Each person gets three pieces. Well that all abruptly changes. I am going to look up the corporate address and file a complaint with them. There is no reason to constantly get the orders incorrect so many times consistantly..
What a terrible place this has become.. Lines way too long and the employees taking your orders sound just as miserable as we do having to give it to them; only to catch an attitude when we confirm if it’s right. Then when it’s time to pay, you have to change your drink choice because they don’t have it… sprite they don’t have. And then, don’t even give you any sauce with your order. But don’t worry it’s not because they don’t want to, it’s because they only have two kinds in stock.. What a waste.
Worst service ever I told the manager I was not able to place order online, she told me she couldnt help me, she specifically said I dont know then, told me to leave. She threaten to take a picture of me. I have two kids with me, I cant stand in the drive thru to order. You Need a kiosk to order at your store. And the manager should be more polite and couteous. Never going to this place again.
Been coming to this popeyes for two years now. But swevice has took a turn for the worst since the pandemic. Customers are still not allowed to order in the store, drive through and online orders only. Problem with the drive through is, there is always a 40+ minute wait. In the beginning of this year they were allowing 5 or less customers in store at a time, but not anymore even with restrictions on restaurants easing. It’s honestly quicker to drive to the Hempstead location and back home as opposed to waiting for an hour for fast food. Hopefully service gets better for their sake.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I placed my order online so that my food would be ready when I got there. So first off the order confirmation told me to go to the drive thru and tell the ordering window that I ordered online. Then after waiting in line they tell me to come inside. After that the cashier acted like I was speaking a foreign language to him when I had told him I ordered two chicken sandwich combos (one classic chicken sandwich & one spicy chicken sandwich) online to pick up. And then he told me they didn’t have any chicken sandwiches and when I began to become angry and question how could they not have something I already paid for he proceeded to tell me that they only had the spicy chicken sandwich. So I told him I would like a refund since I am not getting what I paid for. He proceeded to tell me he doesn’t know how to do that. Then when I pressed the issue, the “manager” came over and told me she has no control over online orders and she can’t give me my money back. This is completely false advertisement and Popeyes is taking people’s hard earned money and when you get to a location after ordering online & paying they tell you sorry we don’t have it and we can’t issue you a refund because we can’t control our faulty system. I will never ever order from Popeyes again!!!!
Its a hit and miss sometimes...food incorrect, but hot...they give you whatever they want when u ask for specific..ie spicy they give orginal..and dont tell u or ask u if its ok because they dont have spicy or its not ready..but when u get food it mostly is fresh and hot....mostly
The chicken is tasty. It is not overly salted like some other chicken chains. What I found to be a major negative is how long it took to place and get an order. I mean the food shelves were fully stocked but the wait time to place and receive an order was way too long. It was like the employees didnt care about servicing the customers in a timely fashion. The fries that came with my order werent hot. Which made them not as tasty but a bit on the oily side. They only provided 3 napkins and 2 dipping sauces for a family meal for four. These issues arent a good way to keep me going back for more.
By far the worst service ever. Place an order online and ask for sauce. Order gets delivered with no sauce at all. I even called in to make sure they included sauce. Horrible customer service. I will never buy food from that location AGAIN. And its not the first time they are doing this to me.
Today I purchased a 9 piece chicken and got it home and the chicken did not taste fresh. I called the store manager who told me if you don’t eat the chicken within two hours it goes bad . Never have I heard of such nonsense. All she offered me was to give fresh chicken the next time . Truly disappointing...Do t spend your hard earned money ...
Was jonesing for Popeyes for a while, but the lines for drive through was way too long. Finally went a few days ago and the line was minimal. If you like fried chicken, biscuits, Cole slaw, etc. then Popeyes is the best fast food place to get it. The Baldwin location was fast and efficient.
Good chicken. This is a busy location, but they seem to do a good job of keeping it clean. Better than the nearby fast food places, anyway! Sometimes they have good deals. Im partial to the chicken sandwich. Mashed potatoes are also great! And dont forget the biscuits!
We went through the drive-through because all bars and restaurants are closed except for takeout so it took forever to take our orders. We said we were going to place 4 separate orders as soon as we pulled up to the window and the lady taking our orders decided (after we finished ordering the first 2) to now inform us you cant do 4 orders only 2 and resisted heavily until we ended up having to add food to the first 2 orders because they couldnt just take two more... the line was long and we were not about to drive all the way around again just finish ordering. It was a huge hassle and the lady wasnt even paying attention because they ended up giving us wrong items and we were missing a couple of sides. Thanks but Im not coming back.
First the workers are very load and very disrespectful the mangers very attitudey and dont even ask for extra sauce of any kind i always order shrimp and ask for cocktail sauce and they either never have any or they want to charge extra money for it. And the shrimp were not devined
I enjoy going to Popeyes as I find that they have consistently good fried chicken. Its probably some of my favorite fried chicken to order, and its always priced pretty well too - especially if you use the deals in their app. The chicken is always very crispy, pretty juicy, and seasoned well. I prefer Popeyes over KFC any day. The fries and sides arent bad as well, but not anything too special.
Convenient location. Good food. Never had an issue with any of my orders. Food always fresh and hot.The only suggestion that I have is to have sturdier boxes. The box becomes weak due to the heat of the food and falls apart. Other than that, my go to place for fried chicken.
I went to this restaurant 3 days in a row. They have a piece of paper reading sold out taped to the menu board over 4 things. 3 days in a row they did not have the surf and turf, shrimps, or fish and something else. Even when the line is short the drive thru takes extremely long. And the employees act as if you forced them to fill out the application to work there. Horrible customer service.
Popeyes # 10915 Came here to try the spicy chicken sandwich. Bought 4 spicy chicken sandwiches and the person “forgot” to tell me their were no pickles in the sandwich. I asked for extra spicy mayo sauce as well and they refused. Absolutely a horrible experience and will be taking my business elsewhere.
Worst place EVER! Prices too high, ultra slow service. I waited in line for15 minutes just to pick up an order that was called in. Finally when I got to casher for pick up, it had to be put togher! OUTRAGEOUS! And the worst part was this was my second visit to the place. You would be better off going through the drive thru, theyre much faster. If you have time to kill, and want to pay ridiculously high prices for food, and stand in long lines waiting to be served, than this is the place.
We intened on indulging on the craze of this new chicken sandwich. My wife and our two children accompanied us. Drive thru was about 15 cars deep. We went inside all of the workers did not move with a sense of urgency. The manager did not smile once. My wife asked for a cup of ice water manager told her it would be 2.50 cents. My wife was completely turned off after this. If we werent hungry we would have taken out business elsewhere. Sadly this location can learn a lot from Chic-Fil-A in regards to customer service and greeting customers with a smile.
20 minute wait for spicy chicken, no Apple Pie, and very slow service! One of the cashier need a roll of pennies but doesnt know what a penny is called . He called it the small brown thing. 😀 He cant figure change without having the register do it for him. If you dont know money and how to figure change, how did he get the job? Thing that make you go! I did not get to purchase my chicken very disappointed this is not the first time I do understand the pandemic is still going on but popeyes have to also be mindful that some customers dont drive and not everyone have internet to order I was not happy I was turned away starving
First time going to this Popeyes. This place is always full with people inside and cars outside for drive thru. I finally got to try that chicken sandwich and yes it is gooooood. Now I see why people are crowding the place. Cars to Popeyes has taken over one lane of Grand Ave. Place look to be clean. I have been there 5 times now. Twice they had not chicken sandwiches to sell. SOLD OUT.
May 4, 2018 I arrived at the store on Grand Ave #10915 and placed my order at exactly 7:53 pm. A 10 piece Chicken Tender meal with 2 sides and 5 biscuits. I asked the cashier how long; he stepped aside and asked another worker who then said a few minutes. That seemed reasonable so I waited. The cashier then took the next customer. After a few minutes I made an inquiry to the cashier. He then stated that the other employee was going to fix my order. So I waited again. The employee proceeded to prepare an order for another customer. I had no complaint at that time because I did not know if that person was before me. The employee proceeded to prepare an order and I asked if it was mine , he said yes. I told him I ordered tenders not chicken with bones. He then asked to see my receipt. Then told me that there were no tenders ready it would be another 20 mins. I was flabbergasted. At no time did I receive an apology for the lack of good service and.... Meanwhile the cook in the back as I observe seem to have no sense of urgency to get the product out. And I might add the store was busy. To end I received my order at 8:30pm. I am an advocate of excellence customer service and I was totally appalled that I allowed myself to be be subjected to such substandard service. I will not visit this store again.
First I couldnt get a simple chicken sandwich. Fine I said, Ill have to go out to chick fil a, kind of annoying but whatever. Then I want spicy tenders, something every Popeyes should have ample of. But no. This one NEVER has spicy tenders. Yall gone n goofed up there.
When there and the Lobby wasnt open. Was then told to walk thru the drive thru . After standing in the drive thru line for 30mins the cashier didnt serve me my order .i wasnt the only customer standing in the drive thru line and they are order n get their food and when it was my time i was rudely ask to move out of the line .I will never buy anything from this popeyes again its located in Baldwin
Very Poor Quality Of Service The Employees There Fooling Around At The Drive Thru Service Window.I ordered WINGS and was told had to WAIT TEN MINUTES! The Food Get A 1 Star Also. The soda Had A VERY FUNNY TASTE TO IT AS IF THE SODA FOUNTAIN MACHINES HAVE NOT BEEN CLEANED! Absolutely Not Healthy.& EVERY TIME THE SPECIALS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AS PROMOTED ITS A TEN MINUTE WAIT !
Bad experience every time I go there, always with either a piece of chicken missing or biscuit missing. And the get very angry when I called to tell them. This last time I went, I ordered a 10 piece to go, I had the cashier counted the pieces in front of me, and sure enough, it was missing 2 pieces this time. Some one else was packing the order.
The food was fresh and hot, customer service pretty decent..prices reasonable.the only thing I would suggest bus either have the door open or AC for ventilation. For someone who has some breathing issues it a danger zone..I couldnt breathe and finish my food..other than that I suggest taking the food out
I love the food here but I must say the customer service is lacking and sometimes the wait here is quite long. We have seen some orders wrong but thankfully ours have always been ok aside from forgetting drinks once. If they would improve staffing, we would come here more
The food was good, but the service is terrible. I went there and I waited about 22 minutes. They also charged me $1 extra for a chicken breast... they were losing customers back to back because the line was way tooo long. Thank god for the other restaurants near by. Also, where are the managers? In addition, the workers thought it was funny that they kept messing up. They were forgetting to put my food in the fryer. After all that waiting they forgot my sides..
The food is good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. At the drive threw I order 2 meals and when I came to the window to pay I had to pay for the meal separate just because the employee messed up and he didnt give me a receipt. I had to go back due to my order not being correct, the cashier was rude and didnt apologize for the error. Never going there again
Over 30 minutes for just 2 side orders. 20 minutes in is when I asked about it and the cashier said they were out of one so I wouldve been waiting longer if I didnt ask. 30 minutes to get an order of mashed potatoes. And the cashier refused to go make it herself even though she was just wandering around

2022-02-26The service here is terrible! Terrible attitudes. Terrible customer service. This establishment is always getting my order wrong. Always missing items from my order. I ordered a 12 piece tenders meal and a kids chicken nugget meal tonight. I again got the incorrect number of tenders, I got a leg kids meal, and I got NO SAUCES. Not a single sauce. They get two stars because the chicken taste amazing. However for this kind of service I’ll just find another Popeyes establishment.

2022-05-01First time to visit this branch. We did drive thru and the male man who take our orders did a good job introducing menus and options. We ordered the family size and it was a blast. Chicken is so crunchy goodness 😋 very tender and juicy. We will surely come back for more.

2022-04-14Bad bad service. Real slow. Walked in and was told only drive in service available. In other words, you can’t buy Popeyes unless you have a car. Dumbest thing I ever heard. Walked to my Range Rover and left. Another time the cashier got my order wrong. The manager on duty needs to go back for 6 months training, I meant 60 months. The franchisee at this location cares nothing about customer service. What a huge disappointment for the Popeyes brand… 👎👎

2022-05-26Went around 9pm. 4 cars ahead of me..Slow and unprofessional service. Order was totally wrong, ordered a 3 Piece mild dark meat meal with mash and Mac and cheese. Get to the window to pay they tell me they only had spicy thighs and no biscuits (after waiting in line for almost 40 mins) would’ve been nice to know beforehand but whatever. Get home open the box to 5 pieces of assorted chicken and literally nothing else. Chicken was cold. Drink had no ice. Tried to call the store no answer multiple times. Miserable experience totally DO NOT recommend going here at all.

2022-05-04Not sure if they are open to indoor dining as there is often no one eating inside and a constant multi car drive through line regardless of the time of day. I would recommend ordering via Delivery apps such as Doordash to reduce wait times. Food overall fresh and as expected from Popeyes.

2022-01-01Last night I ordered through the app and received the wrong order upon delivery (what was in the bag was NOT what I ordered). Tried calling this location and was rudely told nothing could be done as they closed early for NYE. Attempted calling back twice since then (this morning and this afternoon) but nobody answered. I dont know whats worse, the attitude I got from an employee, or the fact that Im out $27 without so much as an apology.UPDATE: 18 minutes after this review posted I got a refund to my card.

2022-05-05Waited in drive thru for 30 minutes. Only 2 cars were ahead of me. The cashier was flirting with the car ahead me forever. When the car pulled off he gestured for her to come back which she proceeded to back up in the driveway back to the window. I got off line and went to wings n things. What poor customer service.

2022-03-05BALDWIN LOCATION ON GRAND AVENUEIf I could give the customer service a negative number I would. I am not a fast food person but I was ordering for someone else. They were overcharging me for a meal so I asked the gentleman to provide the correct price. He said no. So I asked for a manager. He of course was the manager. He refused to give me his name said I didnt need it and I could leave or pay the price he charged.... I got the receipt from the person at the window and left. I called corporate and they took the complaint but thats it. Nothing was done after that. BUYER BEWARE. This location is over charging you and there is no accountability for the rude behavior that is why they get away with it. I would not trust people like that to handle my food. STAY Away at all costs.
