What ca i say.terrible service the cashier didnt even know how to charge my debit card. Service is so sad in most ny establishments. I call it like i see it. waited for 20 minutes for fast food. theyre quick to take your money then its a waiting game.i think that its the quality of employees and of course management. Its all in the interest of profits. As the old saying goes...you get what you pay for .after 23 minutes of waiting they still screwed up my order i was so frustrated that i kust left with the wrong items. I guess i can only get upset at myself for expecting more from a Popeyes in the ghetto.
Confusing signage about offerings. My wife later explained to me the difference from the first sign at the drive thru entrance and the 2nd sign on the other side at the ordering window, but I believe the signs should have been better laid out to minimize any confusion. Food tasted good.
The drive-thru window had a long line, attesting to the quality/quantity of the food, but it moved pretty quickly. I opted to go inside this time, I usually use the drive-thru, and the place was bright and clean. I also noticed the precautions they took for social distancing and such. The food here is always good, I dont remember ever having a complaint. I will go out of my way to go to this location because of the quality of their food. There is a much closer location to me, but it doesnt compare to this one. The chicken portions/sizes are good, not like bite-size pieces, good size pieces! The staff is usually on point with getting the orders out in a timely manner, as well as polite. I would, and have, recommend this Atlantic Avenue/Ralph Ave location to anyone. I visited here on January 25 at around 7:15pm.
ALWAYS good food and customer service. Their pieces are of a good size, not small like a kids meal or somerhing. They almost always have better meal deals than other locations Ive visited. Their chicken is not hard or overcooked every time Ive visited. I go out of my way to the location on Atlantic Avenue and Ralph Ave because of these reasons.
Thus my usual spot to get chicken. When you use the drive thru at this time, it us cash only. I mostly opt to use the stores app to order my food to pick it up via drive thru. I feel get a better deal that way. This time for whatever reason the young lady instructed me that I had to come in store. That I could not pick up my order thru the drive thru. Thank goodness the parking lot had space for me to do that.
Steerrrate horrible didnt have much of anything on drive thru menu but since Im trapped in drive thru lane decided to order some of what they do have which was not easy being that the person taking the order had such a heavy accent i wasnt able to understand he/she and apparently he/she wasnt able to understand me then to top it off it mustve been last weeks chicken someone forgot to dispose of..even my dog refused to eat it nor would my kids $32 in tha trash 🗑 😒
Tried to utilize the drive thru at this location on Atlantic & Ralph ave. I placed my order and as I drive toward the cashier, the cashier told me to stop while a woman walks up to the drive thru window and places an order. The cashier was obviously her friend, they had the audacity to instruct me to wait while she handled her friends transaction. I drove off without purchasing anything. I lost my appetite. Isn’t this a drive thru?
Came at 4:30 on a Wednesday. Mashed potatoes gone, no more available for the rest of the day? Chicken strips I got were old, quite rubbery, and so unappetizing didn’t even care to eat them. Biscuits were overcooked but the only good, edible part of the whole meal.Staff were pretty nice and obviously overworked, don’t know what they get paid but they deserve more. Quick service.Won’t ever return to this location, just a really bad food experience. Blah.
The manager dropped a metal piece on the floor and picked up and placed it rt on top of the counter where they placed the food she was very unprofessional I dont eat like that the manager will be seeing more of this because wat her religion is at home is not the same at work its rules 2 people n hygiene which u dont have non u drop food at home even leave food out feeding the spirits for months where is rats in ur house bugs and all and u want to come work in bk nyc and get nasty here nah not happening here
Popeyes locations tend to be a hit or a miss kind of establishment. This one however makes some really good food - the only issue is the wait time if youre ordering in person. The line tends to get extremely long because they dont have all of the registers open. If you want to wait about 15 minutes just to get to the register and then an additional 5-10 minutes for the food, this place isnt too bad.
I did a mobile order. I arrived 10 minutes later and noticed my bag was sitting on the side with my number 99. I explain to the cashier that I think that’s my bag there she said that I had to wait for the other person to come to give it to me. I stood there for another 10 minutes before I ask for a manager just to pass me a bag that was literally 5 feet from where she was standing. At this point in time is now 30 minutes that I’ve been in that location and when the manager finally came to the front and I explain the situation all she did was say was he has your bag so I have a good day. She didn’t say sorry about the wait there was a confusion no explanation she just wanted to be out of her face I would never go here ever again
The drive thru wait is unbearable. Ive been on line for over 25 minutes with ony 5 cars in front of me. Ive never seen a Popeyes line move this slow in my entire life. Its now been 30 minutes and I havent even ordered yet. Doesnt make any sense. If you dont have time to waist there are other Popeyes in the area that move faster. Fried chicken is fried chicken.
The food here is always fresh. No complaints but the service sucks. There’s always a long line no matter what time of day you come and always one person on the register. I’m standing on the long line and the one person taking orders walks away. Doesn’t come back until about 2-3 minutes later. I can’t understand why they’re so understaffed all the time
The only thing I order from the menu is the Seafood menu the seafood is not that bad but I think it could do a little bit better I think if they go to certain fast food restaurants that order seafood or restaurants and get an idea of why theyre restaurant is 5 * they could fix it up a little bit you know but other than that its not that bad I go there once in a blue not all the time because you know Bluetooth eating that often I dont want to get high blood pressure or high cholesterol
Exceptionally fast for the fast food places around. Only took about 5mun with 3 cars in front of me. McDs took about 20min with 3 cars in front of me the other day. Food is good. Only drawback is ordered mashed potato and got French fries as a side. Also drive up is right next to el tracks so hard to hear and be heard when ordering.
No complaints about the food but the service was very poor went in there said hello how are you to the staff, the young woman didnt even look up at me, seemed as if I was a bother. Then after spending almost $30 and I asked for a dipping sauce I was told I had to pay .38 cents for a sauce which is free at every other location. I left that restaurant so angryand frustrated I didnt even enjoy the food. Never going back there.
This Popeyes Restaurant was once a well taken care of location.At one point the manager would actually interact with the customers and was very polite and respectful.However, lately, Ive noticed homeless men loitering near the drive-thru window asking those who order in the drive-thru for spare change.Just last week one was inside asking people to buy him something to eat while another one was hanging out by the back door near the parking area opening the door for customers entering & exiting the restaurant.Today, there was a homeless man sleeping by one of the tables.The other table & the seat next to him wasnt clean.Those who opted to stay & eat, were bunched up to one side of the restaurant to avoid sitting within proximity to the homeless man sleeping by one of the tables.Since the only seats available were near the sleeping homeless man, I had no choice.As I was going to inform the manager or supervisor about the sleeping homeless man, one of the employees came out to do a quick clean up of the floor.I pointed to the sleeping homeless man and advised the employee to notify the manager or supervisor. Adding that the homeless people hanging around the restaurant is actually bad for business.He repeated the word Manager and continued cleaning.Either he didnt care or didnt understand what i was telling him.I guess I will be taking my business elsewhere.Seems the manager/supervisor or employees dont care or want to get involved with removing homeless people from in & around their establishment.Plus, its not like the man who was sleeping at the table couldnt be seen from the register area.Most likely they were ignoring him or just didnt care.What does that say to those of who spend our money at this establishment?Lets see how much longer it stays in business.
Horrible!!!I went thru the drive thru so I didnt see my food until I reach my destination and Ive never seen such awful food for a franchise to serve a Surf n Turf in that manner...NEVER again will I buy Popeyes at the Ralph and Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn again...NEVER!!
By far one of the worse Popeyes locations you can visit and Ive been a employee an customer for over 15yrs but this Popeyes is right down the block from home and i experience misery every visit the front staff is incapable of filling orders properly something you paid for is always missing its a disgrace at this point and the next time i might end up on worldstarhiphop because they think its a joke
Went to get some honey spicy chicken asked the manager if I can get the sauce on the side and she was very nasty and disrespectful to me and said no that she have nothing to put it in and I will have to get it with the sauce on it or she can sell it to me I felt so disrespectful ,if I choose to have my sauce on the side that my choice ( I guess is her way or no way) as for a customer I believe I have a Choice...Shame on you Popeyes ....manger on duty 8/31/20 2 o’clock

2022-03-06Everything was uncooked , the Mac n cheese , the chicken and the biscuit is solid as a rock plus I asked for fish and they gave me chicken smh . It’s so disgusting that the cooks would serve people raw food . And the Popeyes is in the hood , I bet if people gave them that they would flip . Just who ever mad this quit . Smh currently giving it to dog

2022-08-24Fried chicken like you know it. Id wish the had more options for chicken sandwiches.Staff seems pretty fast if you order from inside the restaurant, but drive through gives me the impression that theyre understaffed.

2022-09-05I didnt receive my full order so the next day I went in ready for resistance to my claim but instead got a smile and the missing items to my order fulfilled. A bad experience made good.

2022-03-12The food was good. The customer service was horrible 😑. It was like six girls behind the counter one spot talking about there life. No one was on line only me and two other customers behind me I had to wait over 5 minute for the to ask me next gust.i was like gost to them like the didnt see us on line.

2022-03-19Order through Uber eats and my order wasn’t even right .I order a 4 pc chicken combo with a drink. Never received the drink and 4 pc .Instead they sent me a 3pc. Look here that’s my hard earned money spent at your location 6 get our orders right.
