Im sorry but this was the worst experience Ive ever had in a fast food place . the drive-thru took forever, the line was down the street . The guy who took my order totally messed it up and the food was horrible greasing soggy chicken. I was so disappointed,what a waste of $21 and time . I will never come back here again if I could give it 0 stars I would .
Never have anything on the menu when I come. I only eat seafood & they never seem to have it. I called them & asked why they never have seafood, the manager hung up in my face.
Extremely long wait time. Fries were minimal and cold. Paid over $20 for 2 meals and was greatly disappointed. Ive had Popeyes in Texas and was a completely different experience. Never going to this one again.
It was our 1st ever visit and we tried it because they had a good deal in their appThe mac n cheese was very good, but the shrimp was a little too spicy.
The chicken is good. The drive through is decent but they are exceedingly slow so make sure you have time to wait. I dont blame them though because they seem to always be busy no matter when I go. Just take the time to check your bag before leaving because they tend to throw in more smaller pieces of chicken than larger pieces on occasion and forget sides sometimes. Overall good experience though.
7 out of 10 times, it seems they mess up my order almost always. I unfortunately Usually do not realize it till I get home. If you want regular chicken you usually get spicy ect, or not even any part of your order at all and a completely different order more than likely met for someone else. Not a one-time event by any means if Chick-fil-A wasnt so busy would go there, food is good when the orders right but that is far and few between it seems lately.
Spicy chicken Burger was good. However, I still prefer the limited edition Wendy’s jalapeño fresco , two summers ago, over this. The spicy sauce is tasty . One of the good Popeyes in Buffalo. Neat and clean as well as less greasy smell indoor. Service was quick.
No napkins, massive delay getting food (about 23 minutes), didnt have items on menu available unless holding up drive through for another long delay (on top of the 23), drive through is vastly undersized/narrow and any vehicle longer than compact car will indeed hit both curbs upon exiting no matter how skilled of a driver you are. Damage to a 75k truck. Super unreasonable experience.
Spicy chicken sandwich is a hype no mater how bad you want it to be true. two stars are for to the quality and juicyness of chicken alone, spiciness is a hoax and crust of chicken smells of other meats from the frying oil. wendys spicy chicken is spicier for sure, and it no way compares to wendys jalapeño frescos divine taste and spice. The cheektowaga branch stands above in standards than other popeye branches in buffalo. dont fall for the hype, you will be just fine..

I went through the drive through the cashier handed me my drinks as I’m putting them in the cup holder she started yelling hmmm i turned around she’s waving my card out the window which was rude. I get my food & go i ordered a kids meal leg for my son & a 2 piece for me, we get home i open his box it’s only fries no chicken i had to give him one of my pieces i went to fill out the survey only to realize she never gave me my receipt this isn’t the first time i had an issue at this location i will never come here again
Thought I would avoid the extensive drive-through traffic, and go inside to order and eat. However inside only open to Door Dash, well good luck dashing in this traffic. Resigned to joining drive-through queue and ordering meal, all of which was very good. Not as fast as some food, but worth the wait.
Usually long lines if you go after 5. Food here is mediocre and usually just warm. Small portions.
The Mac and cheese horrible I didnt enjoy it at all ,I got the two piece with Mac& cheese chicken was hard took it back it was no better I will not be going there for awhile
Went through the drive thru tonight & had a not so pleasant experiance. Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich & a regular chicken sandwich. After repeating our order to the gentleman over the speaker i pulled up to the window & there were 3 of them huddled around the screen trying to figure out what our order was. I gave them my card thinking they had the correct order (terrible mistake). When i got my card back & the receipt i noticed i had been charged $29 and some change, for two chicken sandwiches? i then told the guy at the window & he looked at me like i had three heads. I tried asking if i could get a refund but all i got was a confused look. I eventually told him it was fine not to worry about it as long as i got all the extra food i had ALREADY paid for. i got handed a bag & got told everything’s in there & the window got slammed immediately after, so i waited until they realized i wasn’t leaving to tell them they forgot the 3 drinks they charged me for that i never even ordered in the first place. Won’t be going back!!

Drive thru takes forever, and while we were waiting in drive-thru, there were 3 huge rats running all over by the speaker and by their back door. When we tried to tell the person, even we ordered, they ignored us like it was nothing. We left we werent eating there no more.
Cute decor and it was quiet when we were there for an early dinner. Flavorful and spicy, crispy, fried chicken that is a little pricier than KFC but worth it. Get the 4 piece chicken deal for $10 and it works out the same as getting a KFC $5 big box meal.
My order was wrong, I ordered 4 meals and I only received 3 sandwiches and 4 fries and they charged me for 4 meals...never going back again

I had never been to a popeyes prior to this visit. I ordered a chicken sandwich. I have to admit it was probably one of the best Id ever had. I dont eat bread so I just ate the chicken and let me tell you the flavor was on point. I was impressed. It was hot and juicy with perfect crisp. The staff was super friendly. If I ever get out that way again I would stop. I would also recommend it to anyone.
The slowest people on the planet work here. This place routinely has vehicles backed up to Union road, waiting for the drive thru. They will take an order and wait until that order is made and given to the vehicle before taking another order. That equates to slow and inefficient service. The food is fine but the service is absolutely horrendous.
Great chicken deal and was hot even after I got home.
We ordered using the app and they got our oder wrong. We got popcorn shrimp boxes even though we paid for butterfly shrimp boxes with our order. Pickup was pretty fast and easy and the other food tasted good though.
When the sun goes down, you can skip this restaurant. Multiple times they run out of chicken, and side dishes, so there arent any variety. They also close earlier than what the time suggests. During the day they are fine. Maybe because they are so popular in the day. I give them a 3 because Id expect the same service for night owls like me.
Spicy chicken sandwich is surprisingly delicious. Drive thru was slow, but the order was correct and I got service with a (masked) smile. Fries were cold though, so they lose a star. In this day and age, fries should never be cold!
First I have say the chicken is really good, its tender juicy and crispy. Im going to sum up the overall experience to COVID-19 short staffing issues. I ended up at Popeyes cause TEDS on Union was closed ( due to short staffing ). Anywho,. Made it from the road to the drive thru speaker in 15 minutes. The order taker had very bad English and he didnt understand me as I couldnt understand him. So obviously the order was wrong. I was in a hurry so I just brought it home. Now they gave me Diet Coke instead of regular. The side of Mac and cheese was luckily so small I didnt feel bad throwing it away. It was so over cooked it was paste with milky flour sauce.I remember when they opened, I gave them 5 Stars cause I couldnt give 10.. Today I gave 2 Stars cause the chicken was better than 1Star.

This location was terrible! I ordered 2 kinds of sauce and got 1. I also put 2 separate orders in and got the extra free large side but the chicken tenders where not spicy. For almost $40 on 2 orders of food I would expect better and enough napkins and plastic utensils for as many people as it is supposed to feed! KFC seems better now

Food usually always good. Fresh and hot.. im not a big meat eater but if indo have a lil bit its never really disappointing. Never too salty with is a common complaint I have with most fast food joints!

The service at this location was fantastic.The chicken was very delicious and fresh so it speaks to reason why the line was out the parking lot on a Thursday. Yet they were moving the line along. So many people come here.
First time trying Popeyes. The young lady working the drive thru window was nice and pleasant. Guided me though their menu with ease. Asked about trying their spicy sauce. The manager quickly gave me some to sample with my food. The food? Delicious. Ill be back to that location because of both, the great food and great & friendly customer service.
Never got my order rightAlways messes up and have to drive 25 minutes back to get the rest of my order that they forgot to make or replace the order they always gave wrong to me they don’t even check the names on the orders. Very very bad place overall
If i could give 0 stars i would. we ordered online at 9:00 PM, showed up at the required time (around 9:45PM) and we were told that they were “out of food.” we asked for a refund, and were met with “i dont know what that is.” never ordering here again. don’t waste your time with this place
They werent allowing anyone into the dining area. I ordered on the app and they brought my food to me. Food was good, the drive-thru was crazy as usual. Food was done in good time.

At lunch time there is usually a long line, but it moves quickly. You can tell how many people love their food. Its so fresh and hot, tastes great. Love to get lunch here when Im working.

I went to this location around 6 pm and it took 40 min. just to get to the area where you place your order. I dont know what the problem was but, I will never go there around dinner time ever again. There were only 5 cars in front of me so its not like they were swamped with customers.
$25 for an 8 piece family meal: According to the electronic board, that meant 2 wings, 2 legs, 2 thighs and 2 breasts. What we got was: 2 tiny wings, 4 itsy bitsy legs, 2 breasts with backbone attached. Never again!!!
Ordered food a week ago through Popeyes website and it was delicious, but tried again this week and waited almost 2 hours before calling. Workers who answered the phone said they dont deliver, though its not clear if Popeyes even uses a third-party service for delivery from their site.
Ive been here few times. The line on thrive through is extremely long usually until 7:30PM. Highly do not recommend to come until then bc their limited parking space if you hate to stay on the road with turning lights. Their service and food are good though the employees are not afraid to argue and verbally fight with each other in front of the customers which I have witnessed both dining in before covid and pick up. They now lock their doors and didnt allow pick up when I arrived at 8PM, November 2020. Everything was through drive through only.
Place was terrible. Ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwich meals and the sandwiches were cold and gross. Took them back and watched them take sandwiches from a container sitting out in the open. Second sandwiches were just as bad as the others. Fries were soggy. Returned for our money back. Will never go to the Popeyes on Union Rd in Cheektowaga ever again. Would give a zero but forced to give 1 star.
The only seafood option here is shrimp, and they where terribly stale. I was very upset to waste my money and drive away with no dinner :(
Their chicken is actually very good. The chicken sandwich is as big as it looks in the commercial, which is rare when it comes to these fast food places. Mac n cheese side is ok. Went at about 7pm on a Saturday. It was busy (not crazy) and service was a little slow but the food was worth the wait.
The food was good not a big fan of the Cajun Frys lacked the right seasonings. But the one very bad spot was the time it took to go get to the window to order. Was there at 1:45 pm and took better then 25 minutes to get my order taken. Guess you need to go later in the day or very early.
Very clean and well organized at this location. The chicken sandwich is back and this location is prepared. Friendly staff that seem to enjoy their day, makes this location better than another I wont talk about. Food is pretty good, I personally have to avoid certain menu items because of my diet. (Not on a diet, but dietary restrictions Ive placed on myself.) My personal opinion on the chicken sandwich is, love it. Better than CFL, hands down any day. The fried chicken here is good, but Im a colonel fan through and through. The wife enjoys the other options, shrimp and fish. Give it a try, if you dont eat certain types of meat like me (beef and especially pork) ask about the sides before you order them. Enjoy

Good chicken. Well seasoned and good dipping sauces to choose from. Decent sides as well. I recommend the mashed potatoes and rice.
The food is good. Spicy chicken sandwich is totally on point. The only complaint I have with this place is the service is always quite poor. Slow and not friendly at all. They could use a staff overhaul or a retraining. If there are more than three cars in the drive thru you’re looking at a good 20 minute wait, minimum.
Fast service and hot chicken sandwich! The fries were a it too cool the coleslaw ok. We would go back for the spicy chicken sandwich hold the pickle and sauce.
Typical themed fast food fare, so dont expect gourmet, but it does in a pinch. Drive-thru lines always seem to be long and so is the corresponding wait times. Service is generally friendly.
There was some problem with online ordering and a promo that I had. When I tried to explain to the woman at the drive thru, I was told she could help me if I went inside. There was no helping. It was all about telling me that I didnt qualify, and telling me there was nothing they could do. The app wouldnt let me add two pieces of chicken to qualify! They didnt know what to do and werent willing to even TRY to make it right. the girl inside asked me what I would like her to do. I said if she honored the promo I would buy additional food. She said there was nothing she could do and cant help me. She then called over the manager who was even less helpful and not interested in listening to me. I didnt even get any food and left EXTREMELY frustrated! I have no desire to go back to Popeyes again.
Still not a big fan, but very good chicken and sandwiches. Im a fan of the restaurant that has been here since Ive been a kid. I suppose my taste buds are locked in on that flavor
I stopped into this location about an hour before it closed on a Saturday night for the first time and had a very positive experience. As others have mentioned the restaurant is clean (including the bathroom) and the food I ordered was piping hot. My two-pieces of chicken (a breast and a drumstick) were juicy as well as hot. Mashed potatoes were at par with Popeyes usual standard. Staff were friendly and the manager was responsive to a special request I had. I will visit this location again.
Chicken sandwiches were really good. But our fries had a bunch of random fried shrimp mixed in. The fries had a some what shrimp taste because of that. That was disappointing!

Got sick from the chicken, dont think it was cooked all the way, the drive thru line was long. I Just think they may have rushed it or perhaps it was just the grease, either way it made me sick.
While their food is good, their service is lacking when it comes to phone calls. I tried to call them, because they forget something from my order...no one picked up the phone and I tried several times to get through. This order was not cheap, and we dont live right around the corner. The line took forever, so I rushed home as soon as I got it. Had someone picked up the phone one of the times I called, I probably wouldnt have left such a negative review. Very frustrated, and disappointed.
Service was horrible. The drive thru line was 25 minutes delayed and order needed to be repeated several times and still was incorrect. Food seemed to be under cooked and later caused abdominal issues.
Ordered butterfly shrimp and they were out Manager asked if I wanted popcorn shrimp instead and reply was yes. He gave me extra French fries instead. Will be there front and center Friday.
I decided to try the chicken sandwich for the first time, after the media hype. The chicken sandwich was amazing.I am giving one star because of their customer service. Ordered the meal...after getting the order...I got the wrong sides and the wrong drinks. I have to make a trip back to fix the order. I ordered my food early hour on Sunday morning, they werent even busy.Popeyes employees should really work on customer service skills...like other fast-food chains.
Was in line for 20 minutes, put in my order only for them to get it wrong. Got home a opened the box to something completely different from what I wanted. So I paid extra money for something that cost less . Will not be returning there again. Should of went to Rachels instead 🙄

Young man at the register was pleasant enough, but got our order wrong. When we were served our food I told the young lady it wasnt what we ordered and she was very rude and told me that I mustve ordered it wrong. We had a coupon specifically for chicken tenders and she gave us regular chicken. She then turned to correct the order and basically flung the chicken back into the warmer muttering how much she hated stupid customers. We will never go back there. I work in food service myself and know busy days can be overwhelming but that kind of treatment is wholly unnecessary.
I went here and got a 8 piece meal it was about 2:00p.m. and i love the red beans and rice i watched one of the workers a female take a marker and change the original time on the bottom of the beans and rice and a few other sides were they were supposed to change and serve fresh sides and my chicken had an old greasy taste.. The best time to eat there is early when they first open. If at all at this location..
Id never been to Popeyes, so stopped in to try it. It wasnt busy but parking lot was just about full, which makes me think employees take up customer parking. Limited food options -chicken, shrimp, fish all breaded and deep fried. Breading was bland and floury tasting. All the condiment containers were empty as were napkin holders. I get the impression the owners are afraid customers might take more than they need. We had to ask for ketchup packets and didnt get enough BBQ sauce, which was fine because I didnt care for the taste. What I did find disturbing is an employee yelling at a customer. This is never acceptable. I wont be returning.
Is it just me or did Popeyes change their recipe? The chicken did not taste the same, the coleslaw wasnt good and the biscuits were just dry... and the butter they tried to put on top just didnt taste like the usual. This was a bad batch overall. 2 stars for customer service. The cashier was really nice

This is so annoying sitting in the line when one delivery driver. So many other places allows one to go inside and get. Not this place and then serving one car at a time. Im hearing others complain about it too
When i ordered in the drive thru, they told me there would be a short wait. It was worth the extra five minutes because the food was fresh and exactly as ordered 👍
Chicken was hot and fresh, biscuits werent dry very easy to swallow. Customer service was great. The cashier was very patient with me when ordering. Ill be returning soon for that new chicken sandwich!

My girlfriend had never been to a Popeyes before and knew I love Popeyes. We both got the spicey tenders and they were awesome. The biscuits were even better than usual. And the cashier was very friendly. Well definitely go back.
This place has turned me into a Popeyes Chicken Sandwich Addict!!! Everything is so fresh and delicious, the chicken is SO MOIST that you almost can skip getting a drink with your meal. Great, Now I have to go out and get me some More Popeyes!!! LOVE THAT CHICKEN AT POPEYES!!!
Slow service, locks dining room doors early so door dash and mobile order pick ups have to wait in drive through. Hard to enter and exit parking lot with the long drive through lines.
Rude staff, not verbally but just dont care at all its just another paycheck it seems. even when communicating about an incorrect order its blasphemy to say anything. Missing multiple items numerous times. Most associates seem entitled almost like the job and its customers are beneath them and you can tell. Tried doing the t-mobile order but when I tried to redeem it the app said redeem.which I pressed then chose my location and the promo was gone. Went to the restaurant and tried explaining but was told rudely to order it online. Said it wouldnt let us and was told to get out of line because there was.another car they needed to take.care.of.
Never again, first time I was here the employees were extremely rude, I understand its a fast food, but some common courtesy is at least expected. Food was cold, requested fresh fries and the guy gave me the worst attitude, told me they were fresh, they were COLD. I let it go and left, decided to go again since its the only location close to me, I had a worse experience. The employees barely understand any English, they are EXTREMELY RUDE, as if doing their job was such an inconvenience for them, slow service, overcharge due to not understanding your order, cold food, rude employees. NEVER AGAIN.
Be prepared to sit in the drive thru for at least 30 minutes. Still not open inside. Likely to save money for garbage removal and paying staff minimum wage to clean.

Its about time Popeyes came to Buffalo. I ordered the $10 Bigger Box with 4 pieces. There were no thighs or breasts ready, so the guy gave me an extra leg instead of making me wait. The chicken was juicy, the biscuits were top notch. The apple pie dessert very good. Only issue Ive ever had is the gravy recipe, but hey, thats just my tastebuds. Service was good and the restaurant appeared clean despite being moderately busy.
Why wouldnt you post a larger sign that just a small little piece of paper on your door to say that you are not having lobby service? People are pulling off the streets just trying to et into your parking lot and that is really inconvenient maybe you should post it on your main sign. I didnt get myself anything I was picking up for somebody and I found it to be very inconvenient. If Chick-fil-A was a little bit closer they would have been the one I was going to hands down. The only thing you got going for you with a 3.99 sandwich. And that isnt even that great. sorry Im just very aggravated because I headed then blend back in with the parking lot traffic that was coming off the street that was very dangerous.
Greatest place on Earth. Sorry but I love fried chicken. Its consistent and not frozen. Clean and well staffed, many sides to choose from.Hot and spicy chicken with many combos to choose from as well.10 piece for me. I have traveled the country looking for great fried chicken. Yes its a chain but ok Im cool with that. Not a fern bar and has a drive through. Wife has to drive so I can dive in. More please. Coming to Lockport NY any day. Bye bye diet.
Horrible customer service. First time I went in, the woman who attempted to take my order (manager name tag) couldnt even explain clearly if they had any fresh food left. Shed gone around in circles explaining how they dont make food when they arent busy and that starts around 6pm. I went in around 9:20pm, 40 minutes before closing. Never even been to a popeyes... I didnt like that she walked away nor offered to make anything fresh for me... horrible customer service. In fact, I finally went a few days later to a different location and that had my stomach turning. I know why. Never going to popeyes ever again.

Update : September 29thI went to the same location. Drive thru line was non existant. I got 2 spicy chicken sandwiches without pickle. The lady was rude and said if you dont like it sont get it or take it off........ UHHHH IF YOU DONT JUST GET A CH ICKEN MADE WITHOUT PICKLE .. why is it hard for people to do their jobs. Be courteous and respectful.. which I was. I told her iam allergic which I am cant even touch it and luckily the SHIFT LEADER took note of that because he asked me for the food back for it to be remade SO they inface just took it off even k kwing the circumstances. At least someone there cares.. nice follow up for another employees mistake but I WONT return.

The staff are always welcoming..friendly and very professional..You never have to wait for their delicious fried chicken and I finally tried their new fried chicken sandwich..and I love it ..I had it with LT&M I will get it again on next trip there along with a 4piece dinner or 8 Pieces.I l love Popeyes Chicken and delicious light biscuits and so glad we have one here.The Staff @UnionRd Popeyes area wonderful .happy Team.They will go or take any steps necessary to accommodate and make sure you are well satisfied.
So happy to have a Popeyes near us now. The food has always been great but the woman in the drive thru on the weekends literally NEVER gets our order right and its frustrating.She forgets saucesGave us the wrong drinksAnd even forgot to include a biscuit in one of our meals
Too Expensive. Chicken was nothing special, mac & cheese no flavor and soupy, so watery, mashed potatoes no flavor. 2 3 piece combos was almost $30. The only come with one side and do not come with a drink. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. IM NEVER GOING BACK. AGAIN TOO EXPENSIVE. 😡😠😡😠
Food is not very fresh. The biscuits are always hard. The chicken tenders often seem under cooked. And they are cheap and greedy with there sauces or anything you ask for. Ease up!
Actually this is the best one Ive been to, the rice and beans were more flavorful the biscuits were cooked perfectly, would definitely go there again
Best chicken sandwich in town, hands down. Its worth the beatdown you will receive for not pulling up closer to the person in line in front of you in the drive thru. I assure you. Very reasonable price too! And, just in case youre a humanitarian and care about the safety and sanity of your fellow man, maybe just grab a spicy dinner with sides instead! Its ALL good. For the love of God and all that is good, PLEASE consider another menu item until things calm down!
The food was prepared perfectly but the associates working there were less than courteous or hospitable. My husband and I went there on Thursday night and it was 9:24 p.m. when we arrived, a young lady met us at the door with a key in her hand and said were closed! We said to her but its only 9:24. Its not even 9:30 yet and you are closed. She said yes, we have to close so we can clean up. She did not speak pleasantly at all! And we said we want to get two dinners can we do that and she says no we dont have any chicken left. And we said well what about Seafood? Do you have any shrimp left ? She said no and it will take 20 minutes to cook the chicken. My husband says okay we will wait. She says well then itll be after 10 and we will be closed. He said to her that if you start cooking the chicken now it still wont be 10 by the time its ready. She said we cant do that. And he said well Im going to stand right here and call the corporate office. She had an awful attitude ! Once she saw him pull out his phone she said well come on in and well see what we can do. They served us two full size dinners that we requested and there was plenty left on the shelving in the back already cooked. This is the new and only Popeyes on Union Road in Cheektowaga, New York. That is the second time the same thing has happened to us. Several cars came up and drove away because she met them at the door and told them that the restaurant was closed.
Took way too long to receive a very simple order. About 10 people who ordered after me got their food before I did and most of their orders were complicated in nature. And the chicken tenders were not very tender.
Great chicken sandwich but if you use the drive thru check your food before you leave! We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and got the regular chicken sandwich!
Ive been to this location twice and both experiences have been horrible. Both times i received an incorrect order while there was no line in the drive thru. This time not only was my order wrong but my chicken strips were uncooked and tasted like chewy rubber .It was disgusting and i wont be returning. My girlfriend has also been to this location twice and vomitted after her second visit .I dont know why i keep giving it the benefit of the doubt but i learned my lesson. If i could give it negative stars i would.
I ordered a 12 pc family meal and they didn’t have any Mac n cheese or mashed potatoes. Also I didn’t even receive the 6 biscuits, not even just one I would’ve been a little happier 🙁
We were in Buffalo and had their special spicy chicken sandwich they offer only for a limited time! So amazing:) Huge tender piece of chicken breast with a crispy coating. Dilicious!!!!

Ive been here 5 times total before and during covid 19. One time I received food. Each of the other 4 times I have been told we are closing in like 10 min So we are out of pretty much everything Im just selling off the rest of what we have-this was at 9:10. Or as Im pulling up to the speaker at 4:15 were closed. When I call to see if they are actually open or if they have the tenders or any spicy chicken available the phone is off the hook and busy and or.it just keeps ringing. No voice mail to report issues. Management and employees cant keep up with the volume before or during covid this isnt new.
We were the first customers when they opened the door at 10:30 AM. We placed our order and didn’t receive our food until 11:05 AM. Nothing was ready! The tea and napkins weren’t out. The tables were full of crumbs, since we were the first customers, they must not have wiped them off the night before.The bathrooms were disgusting! The door didn’t lock on the single stall. There were no paper towels or a paper towel dispenser. There was no hand air dryer either! The floor was full of water.
I love that chicken from Popeyes, but disappointed by the staff and restaurant. The tables were filthy! Grease and crumbs everywhere. All utensil and condiment holders were empty as if the owner is too cheap to stock them. The drink machine is old school with no ability to customize your beverage like the Elmwood location. Tea is kept in the kitchen for some reason. I had to wait to get an employees attention to get some tea. The parking lot is very tight with only one very narrow entrance and exit. The staff did not care at all to help me pick the right package for my family of four. They tried their best to make me pay the most money I could for the meal. The app sucks as it would not let me use the coupon that was displayed. I probably wont be back at this location.
So twice now ive ordered the greatest chicken tenders ever and both time they were room temperature. Red beans and rice were the same way. And btw if i ever see you serve a customer the wrong food and then after the customer has opened the food, you throw it back w the other strips... Ill call everclean.
The chicken was very good. But the cashier barely understood english. I wanted the 3.99 special. I ended up paying 9.11 for it because she kept adding sides. I tried to stop her and she didnt have a clue.
Very rude manager and associates. I asked for fresh fries and they argued with me that me the fries that I had just came out of the frier but they wasnt even warm. I also witness a guy bring chicken back inside because they were the wrong pieces and they put it back with the chicken to serve other customers instead if throwing them away.
Food was good. My grandson loved the corn on the cob. I ordered 2 apple pies. When i took the first bite I thought something is wrong. It was strawberry and cream. Good thing I liked it. Lol . The services was slow thru the drive thru. Not sure what the problem was cause they didnt look busy.
Have been to both locations and purchased their chicken and fish sandwiches. I found that the sandwiches did not look as nice as they do on TV. There are better options available
I placed an order and PAID thought the app. It stated I had until 11 pm to pick up. Arrived at 730 pm for them to tell me a they are closed and b they have no more chicken. They refused to give me a refund or food. When we requested corperates number they refused so now its been 3 days and I still dont have my money back. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION HORRIBLE PEOPLE WORKING.
I do love their chicken sandwich, and for me their Cajun Turkey is all Ill serve for my Thanksgiving. To compare their chicken tenders to KFC though, KFC wins hands down!

Door dasher & had to wait for the food for 30 minutes. Drive thru line was out into Union Road. Everytime I come as a Door Dasher, I can NEVER get into the parking lot. If I am lucky, then I cannot get out
Delicious and accurate order however only drive thru is open and they had a really poor system so the line was VERY long and went SO slowly! Could use some training on how to work drive thru, especially because its the only option right now!

I normally love Popeyes Chicken, however the drive through woman was very disrespectful. She talked over me when I was ordering, and she never gave me a price she said pull up to the drive thru window for the price. I asked her how much was the order she said nothing. I ordered (2) 2 piece chicken boxes. It came with 2 small pieces of chicken a biscuit and a very small side. Plus a drink. She charged me 21.00 dollars for that. I should never have paid for it, but I was hungry and had a headache. When I got home, I saw she gave me very over cooked chicken that was so hard and dry I couldnt eat it. The side was very small. 2 tablespoons and its gone and the biscuit was so hard and salty that alone would spike your blood pressure. Not to mention the ruddness I got at the drive through. Id rather drive all the way to North Buffalo on Elmwood Ave to get my food then ever go back to this one on Union Rd in Cheektowaga, NY again. Very disappointed. 2 thumbs down for this one.
Online hours do not match location hours. Went there around 11:45am, understandingly they were busy, no problem. Put the order in (drive thru) had to repeat it twice. Even after repeating it at the window they still got it wrong. Definitely not going here again.

I often wondered same area how the response of two business can be so different. Recently chick-fil-a was opened Cheektowaga area and the public response is astonishing. Almost same time Popeye’s opened in the area it is extremely slow. Well I had to visit there in person to find out the answer.my observation, 1,they do not treat last minute customers as ideally as the other times.2,there workers are impolite with arrogance.3, there managers does not provide names or keep it secret to avoid reviews. I went to the drive through; it was last minutes like 9:50, as I had to pick up my wife from work. Employees does not speak English well, so had hard time getting the information on specials. then manager(I guess named ismail)came and suggested the 3.99 ,3 piece chicken and biscuits, I ordered 2 .Once finished ordering ,only then he said that he does not have biscuit, he will give me extra piece of chicken. I told him I do not want extra chicken, he offered me to have one small sides, and I requested two side for two order. He told me he can give me two apple pies but not sides. I did not want to continue this argument, so went to the window and asked to write his name he started yelling saying it is past 10, I came at the wrong time, then shut the window in my face. So this is my first time experience in Popeye’s, (hopefully the last). How is it my fault that you are out of items and rejected to make it because it is last minute? Instead of being sorry, the manager started to make deals. i was not there in auction ,I just wanted to try some chicken fry at a new place at the neighbor. you should write a sign that you do not appreciate people to come at the last minutes. Also, go to your google account and change your availability time to 10 pm, as it says 11pm.
Inconsistent with orders. Managed to forget a whole meal to my order and wont even answer their public number for further questions. Wouldnt recommend going.
I had to wait 10 min to order because they had other people orders wrong, then I had to wait another 20 min before my food was ready. Ughh it wasnt that great either! And of course no chicken sandwiches were available.

Got the jumbo shrimp and fries special however french fries were cold and i do not like part of my meal cold. I didnt return it because then the shrimp would have been cold so i dealt with it unfortunately.
Popeyes in my opinion has to be the worst restaurant in the whole world.. I place an online order I get there and they say they dont do online orders and they charge my credit card now theres no one physically that can talk too...

They didnt give me the sides for either one of my meals. So disappointed to find out after I drove over a half hour to get home only to find everything was not in the bag. It shouldnt be too hard to give me what I ordered.
Terrible service order was wrong. Waited in line 20 minutes. Didnt get fries with combo meal. New clerk didnt know how to work the cash register. Drive thru only service. Not worth the wait..
Their Chicken is sooo much better than KFC and no problems ordering all dark meat being specific with just thighs. KFC doesnt let you do that. Good food and goes the extra mile to please their customer.
I understand that there is no dine in, but I did not get everything that I had ordered and they couldnt even bother to pick up the resturaunt phone. The line is incredibly long so i went somewheres else. Incredibly disappointed

Great food, the fried chicken is not greasy and the biscuits dont fall apart when you try to butter them. Love the Cajun rice and the red beans and rice!!! Service is helpful and speedy.
They were super patient with my kids that went full blank stare when they asked what sides they wanted, even though we rehearsed in the parking lot. Everything was prepared well but it’s not really my thing. Will come back when they have those sammiches back.
Ok. Heres the deal with this chicken! FRESH, delicious, OMG! We campared prices to KFC and this place is less expensive for more. The chicken is tender and juicy NOT greasy and NOT piled with batter (batter without any chicken like other places). You get fresh, juicy chicken with a crunchy relatively light batter! Its just wonderful. My kids beg us to go there! Im not crazy about the gravy on the mashed potatoes (it has some kick to it, my insides do not like kick). The coleslaw is pretty good, always cold and fresh. The bisquits are dry (arent they all that way)? Give it a try. I dont think youll go back to KFC Im sorry to say!

Got the some fish and shrimp. Barely, if any shrimp, mostly breading. Same with fish, hardly any fish and everything was overcooked and dry. She didnt even give us sauces for this disgusting fried breading. Not to mention the building had garbage laying under the tables and its a new building. Will never go back to any popeyes after this
This place has the best chicken sandwich money can buy in a drive thru. Go to chik fil a for long lines and average food. Go to Popeyes for the Chicken.
Although the chicken was good and plentiful , I ordered RED beans and rice but received pinto beans . I know the difference . The Cajon gravy was BLAND . No real taste or spice....except for the salt and pepper i had to add.
My recent experience Popeyes Chicken on Union Road Cheektowaga whats horrible when I got to the window to pick up my chicken the guy was very nice and smiling little did I know when I got home the chicken was cold it wasnt crispy it wasnt cook hard enough because the crust was all on the bun it was sitting there so long until I could smell strong a pickles 3 days later I went there for chicken sandwich chicken was not crisp it was sticking put a bun on the top so there was no skin on the chicken the cook is bad that they have now is it possible what are you going to get disappointed or have good chicken
TRIED NIAGARA FALLS BLVD. AND FOOD WAS TERRIBLE HAVE TRIED TO GET AHOLD OF THEM AND THEY HANG UP OR TURN FAX ON. TRIED OTHER LOCATIONS AND THEY SAID IT WASN’T THERE PROBLEM. EXACT WORDS. HAVE TRIED FOR FIVE DAYS AND EVENING. THEY DESERVE TO BE REPLACED OR CLOSED DOWN.

Never tired Popeyes after seeing all the Commercials we decided to go on our way home..So mad I live close to Batavia when I got home from the union road Popeyes I noticed they never put the sides in the bag..ok just disappointed...then I looked at the receipt the guy told me $32 and some change so I said here is $30 cash put the rest on my card... stupid me for not checking! I get home 40 mins later.. the receipt says 21! Not 32!!! So no sides and lost $.. I just called and this guy doesn’t speak English very well and tries to argue with me!!! I’m like dude I have the receipt right in my hand! Great food that was in my bag but worst people skills!!!! Never going back!
This location was really nice. The food is just average. Tasted genetically modified. The customer service needs improvements. Please check your order, as they tend to miss items or give wrong items.

Terrible. There where 3 cars In front of mine and it took 30 minutes just to order. When I was ordering no one understood a thing!! When we got our food they forgot half of our stuff and there is no options of food and it has no taste!!!

Tasty chicken. My wife enjoyed the Cajun fish and we both thought the biscuit was very good. We both left feeling full and that feeling lasted. Ill go back.

This was my first experience at a Popeyes. While the staff was wonderful. The food is just terrible. Im not sure what I was expecting. But Little Nicky was wrong. Popeyes Chicken is not awesome.
I will say that this is the best crispy chicken sandwich I have ever had. A bit long to wait for fast food though. Be prepared for a 7 minute wait.
Forgot part of my order so had to go back. Food wasnt even luke warm, I would say edible, definitely not enjoyable. The Mardi Gras cheesecake was delicious.

Everything was great, staff was pleasant and there wasnt a huge line. Food was fast and delicious - never tried Popeyes before and enjoyed the shrimp and fish as well as the spicy chicken.
We love Popeyes! We were excited to find one near our home and just newly opened! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Everything was as it should be!
Theyre definitely improving because they have blk folks working here now lol, it reflects in the quality and seasoning of the food.

2021-11-04Enjoy the food! Just dont like the long wait in the drive-thru lines. Ive never dined in. This place has only been here for a few years. Since Covid the dining area has been closed. You can only pick up to go orders.

We drive past the Popeyes location close to my home because the Popeyes on Union rd has excellent customer service that is so worth the drive... Always patient and friendly💯

2022-04-29The food order was correct and prompt. The dumpster behind the restaurant was over filled and a family of NYC rats had clearly made themselves at home (in broad daylight). The young man who worked the drive thru was quite unpleasant. While I do enjoy Popeyes, this will be my last visit to this particular location

2022-04-12Bought a four piece, got home and it was a 3 piece.Ordered a diet pop, got regular pop.Annoyed because I specifically asked if a breast came with the meal and that was the missing piece.I guess thats why people sit in the drive thru and check their bags.Definitely going to do just that from now on.

2022-05-24Last week I ordered a family meal that came up to a little more the 50$, and let me tell you my food was flavorless no flavor, no herbs, no seasoning! Chicken was fried well pretty gold but it lacked FLAVOR. Ugh so sad we even had left over chicken!!

2022-06-04Did not have what I originally ordered, did not know until after I paid. I got popcorn shrimp instead which was awful. I dont normally go to chain restaurants but I was with someone else. Staff were apologetic but shouldve checked that they had the item I ordered first.

2022-02-23Poor customer service and ordered my food through drive thru. While at the window, I was told that my order is being made and to park my vehicle and come inside. I told him why should I come inside and theres a reason why I ordered my food in drive thru and its their job to come out and give me my order. He then replied that he will try and I said that I paid for it and he has to come out.He came outside after 20 minutes and did not give me my drinks. I mentioned I am missing drinks and he only came with one. I told him I had another one and he said that no you only ordered one but when I showed him the receipt he immediately realized he was wrong and delivered it. This is terrible customer service and they need new management. I will never go back there again!
