Good service by Keyona and Sha. Unfortunately corporate had their system down and they couldn’t honor this weeks deal and were only accepting cash. Their good customer service made it up for corporates issue.

Ok my food was fine ... however the attitude of the staff was out of control .. no please or thank you ..rolling eyes just unbelievably rude.there was no ice in the soda machine they had no sauces available. we said we were staying and all our food was put Im bags and boxes to go , which I was ok with because the trays were all dirty
I went with a friend and on Google it said the store closed at midnight, we arrived there at 10pm and they said they stopped making anymore chicken or fish sandwiches because they close at 11pm. Myself and other patrons expressed what was on Google and they need to change their time on it. This store in my opinion should be closed because they are very unorganized. My second bad experience with this location.

The waiter service is poor, many people go to work, but the meal is very slow, causing the restaurant to be congested. I ordered an online order, and when I arrived at the restaurant, I slowly started to help me make it. My order was placed 15 minutes before arrival and I waited another 20 minutes when I arrived. This is a poorly managed restaurant. Very bad experience.

It is very slow, every time I order here it takes me at-least 40 minutes. Once I ordered a chicken sandwich and it took them 20 minutes to make it. The food quality overall was good but the time waiting was not worth.
Friendly staff, chicken came in fresh juicy and it was in and out! I come here pretty much every other day.

When there are few customers everything is fine but if there is even a decent amount of customers it is sheer chaos they cannot keep up with. They are more concerned taking new orders than filling orders already taken thus pick it up now becomes pick it up an hour later. They also prioritize in store orders first and mobile orders are just sitting in the back for whenever someone feels like they are free. They need to get their act together and follow the number system regardless of in store or online.

Ordered a chicken sandwich. Came out quick and was not bad. Cashier seemed to be stressed out. I tend to be more patient during Covid because of lack of help and restaurants not giving out hours to have additional employees.
While I dont love the wait times, the food is always good and the chicken sandwich makes it worth the wait.
I’m a big fan of the Popeyes sandwich and because of the sandwich I decided to try their chicken strips. What a big mistake - The chicken strips were hard and taste as if it was in the freezer for years. I was too far away to bring it back so I threw it away. Besides that an employee was sweeping and cleaning the sitting area - then, was suddenly called to package the food without washing/disinfecting her hands. Fast service but disappointed with the chicken strips and lack of self cleanliness.
Chaos, the first time they lost my menu. wait 20 minutes, and yesterday they had no fries and just regular coke in the soda vending machine. they had nothing. the bowl of the mash It didnt have a lid, they put a plastic on it. the truth 2 times I went, 2 very bad experiences. I never come back.
They look so much better than a few months ago, the entire place looks amazing, majority of staff is amazing except this one manager with dreads and food is great. There is a younger gentleman that is there most of the times I believe he is the GM and you can just tell the respect that the employees have for him when he is present and he has another manager I believe her name is Natalie she holds the place down when he is not there. Great Staff! Great Food! Great Management!
Thank you Antonia and Talia! They try hard at this location but there are times when things happen….but the staff has been trained to make it right for a good guest experience. Our order was messed up by giving us dark meat instead of white but they made it right. Antonia took my call and said come back anytime and we will fix it. We went back and Talia took care of us and gave us the missing chicken and a few other goodies! Do not miss out on the new cheesecake…yumm!!
I’ve ordered here many times through uber eats. I’ve always called right after I placed my order to ask if I can change something and they were always so kind enough to do so. Today was a different story when I called first of all the way the lady answered the phone “Hello” as if she wasn’t at work I had to ask if it was even Popeyes. When I explained that I placed an order she answered “ ok .. what’s the problem” nothing professional about the way she answered the phone or the “what’s the problem” response. THEN when I asked to see if they can change something she said they can’t modify orders. I explained that I’ve ordered before and it was never problem and I understand rules are rules but some type of Courtesy would’ve nice to say maybe “ I’ll do it this last time but next time we won’t be able to do so because we aren’t allowed to do this” being that I did explain I couldn’t even cancel the order due to Uber eats charging fees to cancel. I guess some ppl just don’t have heart to give good customer service or they hate their jobs who knows , just don’t take it out on the customers. You should makes us want to come back , not make us leave nasty reviews like this
I barely write any review not to mention bad review. BUT this store is extremely slow in terms of preparing the order.I understand this is one of the very few Popeyes in the island but Works seems have no idea what to do with each order(Ex. how to check, which order goes first etc.) today I waited for 20 mins for my pre-ordered mobile order so be aware.Food is good tho.

Had the opportunity to visit this location during opening week. I must say that they were exceptional in dealing with the hordes of people. Great communication. Fast service. The staff was friendly and accommodating with the extra sauces. They were a well-oiled machine.Food was great as expected. Huge plus for no longer having to travel all the way to forest avenue for my favorite franchise fried chicken. Keep up the great work guys.
**Be warned** Weve ordered delivery on their app.When we order chicken tenders that come with your choice of dipping sauce and up to 3 per order, they have consistently failed to include the dipping sauces.We also ordered the chicken nuggets and did not receive any of the dipping sauces requested.The requested condiments are printed on our receipt but not included with our order.I can only surmise that we are not the only ones with chicken nuggets and tenders without the accompanying condiments.I tried calling the store but they dont answer while ordering to remind them to include the condiments, this was to no avail.Next time I will try calling the delivery driver when possible and I suggest you do the same.

Make sure to check your chicken before you eat it. This place is notorious for giving out undercooked food because they dont wait for it to cook completely. This has happened to me numerous times. This place is also always out of forks, spoons, and napkins. The manager of this resturant needs to be fired asap.
I will not be ordering from this location again. The food is as expected, but I have had mobile orders take too long and arrive with the wrong food. If you have to get your food here, I would suggest going there in person to order and checking the bags contents before leaving.
Never eat here they have rats running around the store. They would say they don’t but it not true they leave the rat droppings on the food. DONT EAT HERE YOUR GOING TO GET SICK
The staff at Popeyes are AWESOME. Manager was Amazing!!! I placed an order on doordash... definitely use a different service for delivery btw.. But waited over an hour half, I called Popeyes to see the status of the order. I was told the order was still there. The manager explained that it still has not been picked up from delivery service, and I could request a refund. I told her I would come pick it up instead. When I got there a fresh order was made for me without me even asking.... Super nice staff!!

1st. I arrived to place an order 2 Dine combo wait one time but instead when I picked my food they gave me a box of biscuits instead of large Cajun fries.2nd. When I placed the order on the mobile app after I arrived, they havent finished the order but just horseplaying around and talk. so the staff asks me they were all out of Coleslaw & Cajun fries. Im completely disappointed & unsatisfied but still, horseplay around inside the restaurants.This is not how to treat & forced customers to speak, wait & unsatisfied. They already lost me as a customer. I will not go back to that store again.

I had their mild fried chicken(thighs & legs) mashed with gravy. It tasted good & not greasy. I havent had Popeyes since 2016 & it seems that the pieces got smaller. 5 pics didnt fill me up. Also theyre pretty expensive.
Theres still no dine in but they are delivering and theres online ordering for pick-up. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I left my car keys and they were very nice to hold them for me.

On 9/7/2021Went in ON HYLAN BLVD AND NEW DORP LANE LOCATION bought ×2$10 5 piece combo special comes with 2 regular sides and 2 biscuits. The sign for special is on front window.PROBLEM#1First thing wrong. Went to pay they couldnt figure out on register the price was not in system so they charged me 2x $8.99 and 1x $4.00 Plus Tax because they didnt have special in there system. I was like wait that comes to almost $22 plus tax not $20 they argued with me saying that is what we were told to charge. After a 5 minute argument the manager came out and tried to say that is what it cost but we will give you $2.00 back. They are trying to pocket money. There must have been 20 orders for special I saw that night add it up they are over charging.PROBLEM#2Oh plus got home opened up 5 piece special GUESS WHAT ONLY 4 PIECES IN EACH BOX NOT 5 PLUS MISSING 1 SIDE DISH IN EACH BOX RIPPED ME OFF THERE TOO. First off the food is fresh and great! The staff are great. My food came quick. The only problem I have is the online . I purchased food online and when I got there the staff didnt receive it. But they definitely honored it and made my food fresh. Go there and enjoy!!

Their chickens are hard and dry, probably fried for too long. Not once but twice since we wanted to give it a second try. My neighbor said they also gave it a third try and will most likely not go back again. The one in Brooklyn is much better, so crispy and juicy unlike this store’s.

Very good food. Clean place. I recently went back here and had a horrible experience. I ordered ahead of time, and still had to wait 40 minutes for my order, they ran out of chicken, surprisingly since its a chicken place. They got my order wrong, and were not pleasant about it, then when I got home I saw that they still forgot one of my sandwiches I had ordered. Not going back here.
I got 10 pieces of chicken two large size and five biscuits the chicken was excellent the mashed potatoes were great the beans and rice with all kid Okie and biscuits were absolutely great havent had that good of chicken for a long time but I did it right would recommend the place to everybodys friendly staff they were out of a lot of stuff but what they did have was really good go get some chicken bock bock bock bock LOL it was a store on Hylan Boulevard

Not good. Most times you get tough or stringy chicken which is extremely unappetizing. Ordering for delivery is even worse since you get tough to eat chicken which is also cold.
The only reason I’m even giving a 1 is because I have to. I have given this specific location 4 chances to not be horrible and it has been every time. I go in super polite and patience yet my food is always messed up, things are missing, always get an attitude from the workers and nothing gets done about it. Very disappointed in the service and food.

First thing they have to learn whats the dark meat and whats white meat breast is not dark meat I missed the second time I got a breast when I asked for dark meat dark meat is legs and thighs. Made a mobile order and it seemed it was passed over by people who came in much later. They were slow, but I must admit that the food was good.
Maybe its just the spicy chicken sandwich that every single chain is, but it wasnt what I imagined. Though the chickens are great, sometimes may be only a tad bit dry but overall OK.
I do have to admit that if I go for fast-food tahts my first choice. Chicken is always tender and spiced very well.

2022-03-03Staff is friendly and helpful but ordering thru the Popeyes app food is never ready on the time that youve scheduled. The wait is usually 30 mins or more once they know the customer is onsite. Otherwise food quality is good. Orders come out correct. Sometimes you get tiny pieces

2022-07-08It is always a 50/50 when going to fast food joints.This one was ok. The Popcorn Shrimp was made fresh but the chicken was sitting there. It wasnt terrible but the fresher the better.I have moved away from fast food but there are times that you dont have much choice.This was one of those times.

2022-05-04TLDR: long wait for foodSame experience as many others. The food is no worse or better when comparable to other Popeyes stores. The wait times are terrible no matter what time of day you go. I typically go during off peak times and order on the app first. The food is never ready by the time set on the app. It doesnt matter if you ordered 15 min or 1 hour ahead. They start preparing the food when you get there so its no different than ordering in the store. I have experienced wait times 10 - 30 minutes depending on how busy they are. Management needs to review and overhaul their procedures.

2022-08-13The worst place ever. Unprofessional staff, slow, and treat delivery drivers like garbage. I went to pick up an order for a customer, and I noticed that the bag was unsealed and the chicken box inside was open. Then, I tried to close the box myself because my customer would think that his order was messed up. The young man who was working looked at me and said in a sarcastic tone is this your order?, so I answered no, so he told me so, dont touch the food. First of all, I didnt touch the food. Second, it was his job to pack the customers order correctly and prepare it for delivery. All I want to say is that this place is always a mess and I dont recommend it to anyone.

2022-04-04This is the worse not only Popeyes I have ever tried ( I have give it a few tries since they open), and the worse fast food restaurant in this area!! Every time I go order it’s a minimum 45 minutes wait for your food!, last week we had to wait exactly 1 hr for some family meal chicken bowl, because they did not had “chicken”!?? Ain’t supposed to have chicken? Isn’t that what they sale??!!Also they never have coleslaw “NEVER”, it doesn’t matter what time is it, oh, and I have never been able to buy a chicken sandwich in here! Today, my husband went once again, it was exactly 9pm and it says that they close at 11pm.., guess what?…you guessed it!, they had absolutely nothing and when we asked they were like, “ oh you’ll would have to wait a little bit..”40 minutes”?! No thanks! They were already cleaning and putting everything away rushing to go home! I really would like to meet the big boss from this restaurant and see his/her face and ask if he/she are proud of his/her restaurant ? Everyone should get fired from these restaurant staring from their Supervisor(s) and or Manager (s)!! Matter of fact, CLOSE THE WHOLE RESTAURANT already!! Completely unacceptable and insane!!!!

2022-04-12NEVER order from this location. Im a doordash driver: Ive NEVER arrived to pick up an order that they have even touched yet. You tell them youre there to pick up an order and they print out the ticket and give it to the kitchen right then. Be prepared for at least a 30 min wait. usually longer. Us delivery drivers avoid this place like the plague. BTW, the staff is constantly using the N-word with glee right in front of customers. If that sounds good to you, go here. Otherwise, theres plenty of fried chicken joints.

2022-04-102nd time when I order they give me the bits left from the chicken tenders and count them as one piece each. This is ridiculous because its already expensive for 14pcs tender family meal, and the pieces are pathetic. They also left the box of fries half empty because they were trying to ration the fries because of their poor planning.

2021-02-23This was the worst !! we love Popeyes i eat there whenever i can ! so we were excited when one was opening across the street ! we placed an order they messed up every aspect of the order the chicken sandwich was greasy !! and look at this side dish ! Literally there was nothing in it On top of that I did not order macaroni and cheese I ordered mashed Potatoes and gravy this place is terrible!! The worst Popeyes ever

2022-08-22So I’m here at 8:45 they don’t close until 11 and I’m told I can’t make a big order cause they don’t have that much chicken left… they are turning away customers just so they don’t have to make any more food weird
