They are very slow to fulfill your order and the young lady who took my order had a very bad attitude.
I wish I could give them zero star. First of all waiting is ridiculous and only 2 employees working in the rush hour I was waited 30 minutes to pick up online order and then left without getting the food. Never I will ever come back here anymore.

The Service is always slow. No matter what time of the day, there is a line. Weekends, weekdays. This just lacks both more registers and speedy customer service. And now with this chicken sandwich thing going on, be ready for 20min waits around the city.

The wait was ridiculous! Workers were pasing nack and forth like they did not know what they were doing. Customer service sucks, The had a room full of people waiting for their orders and would not communicate with them about their orders. I was there for 50 min. I missed my 30 min break because I was stuck waiting. This is a fast food restaurant ! Nothing fast about this place !
Wow, where do I start... The staff is not rude at all but they are super slow and that store has a lot of demand. I placed a mobile order and when I walked to the store, it was not even ready. I placed another order on the store and it took almost 45 minutes to leave with everything done. On the other hand, food was good and store was clean. The staff is nice but they need to be trained to work in a fast paced environment. If they get retrained and work fast, that store can make more money and better experience overall.
The service seems to be quite prompt.Nonetheless, you must double-check your order once it has been given to you. This is because sometimes, an attendant will forget to place something in your bag that you have paid for.
ULTRA SLOW. I was third in line and it still took 30 minutes. Make sure you check your dinner. I asked for spicy (leg and thigh). I got 2 breasts regular plus no utensils.
Well people that work there are always nice but I noticed a language barrier sometimes you dont understand what they say they finally have indoor dining besides everything its a good place to go

Always 95% of the time they forget to add the sauce . My favorite order from poppies is the the 3 piece tender and is not the same without the sweet heat sauce I’m very upset and is all the time .
The worst customer service I’ve ever had at Popeyes and the food was horrible. I orders to meals one that was the kids chicken nuggets and the other 5 pc with coleslaw. The coleslaw was spoiled !!! And the meat was not fully cooked . I will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN . Horrible

NO STARS!!!!!! worst customer service and quality of food you can experience. Always long lines and the constant change of employees makes this location such a horrible experience every single time. Literally hire like a revolving door. The manager could not keep a good staff from cashiers to the server or cooks. I’ve tried to give the benefit of doubt to this location since it’s the closest as I do enjoy the Popeyes fast food but would prefer to go to the bruckner story avenue location as at least the food is fresh. Been a Parkchester resident for more than 10 years and only had good staff for 2 months when the chicken sandwich came out and needed employees from another location. I will never go to this location again!
I visited this place at a very busy hour but Regina was super nice, caring, and genuine. I really appreciate the level of customer service she provided as I could tell she cared about my experience. The food was amazing like always.
I love Popeye but they dont do the orders correctly. I spend $40 on mild chicken and they sent me spicy. Then they dont send me any legs. When you do delivery, they should tape the boxes and staple the bags. I went there in person, I ordered legs, wings, and thighs. I asked them why is there no legs. Oh they finished. Dont you think you should notify the client and not just give whatever you want? Im giving them a 3 but look how many complaints I have. It should be a 1. Check your orders
I order three pieces of chicken tenders with fries the chicken tenders was a little black and a little raw. Also the mashed potatoes with gravy there was chunks of meat and when I looked in the meat it was pink . Just horrible & im pregnant !
Its a fair experience. Always busy and theres always line, in addition with the fact that its fairly smaller than the Burger King next doors. Staff and food meets expectations. Be prepared to wait a for some time, because this Popeyes and the word busy go hand in hand.
I was the 3rd person in line and it still took 40 mins to order my food..they are more concerned about uber eats or door dash deliveries than the people waiting in line ...the line reached all the way to the burger King side ....never eat here
Was in the area so I decided to stop and grab the much talked about chicken sandwich. Heard so much hype about it. The line was not long. Took 15 minutes. The sandwich was okay. Dont believe the hype. The cashier was very pleasant. It was very cold inside which made my experience. NOT a good one.

After asking the animal at the counter she reply That Im setting up to close down. All this is happening with customers on line waiting. Waiting on line just to place your order and then to be treated rudely by the staff for asking why the long wait. With only 4 customers in the restaurant waiting, it should not take 10 minutes for each order to be place. This animal after I complain and ask for the restaurant information, she rip the the top of the receipt and also the area with her name from the receipt. Shes the only african american working the front area in the night shift.I GIVE BURGER KING NEXT DOOR A 10 IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AN ONLY A 2 -3 MINUTE WAIT ON LINE!!
Waited over 30mins to place an order. After I ordered they took 15mins just to get a box of tenders. The manager came and literally did nothing to help she just stared at everyone. Horrible
Horrible service placed an order through seamless from this metropolitan in the Bronx site at 4pm I placed an order and 4 hrs later still did not receive merchandise. I dont recommend anyone to purchase any items from this sight. Here is the kicker I was charged. Totally unacceptable. Follow up the order was cancelled and I wasnt notified. The date was4-12-20. That whole shift should be terminated. I tried calling no one picked up. Again totally unacceptable. This is not a way to treat any customer. Hire professional staff that will take this job seriously.
I want to give a 0 but I dont have the option. This store is the worse they have a mess. I had 2 orders and they gave me one order of another person and then told me that my second order didnt go through after taking my money and just told me to call customer service. Dont go there, they should close it if they dont know how to treat customers and organize their staff.

Wow, 2 days in a row they closed early. The first time I came with 5min before 11, the doors were locked: ok I get it I cut it close. The second time 20min before close and they waved me and another customer and said no food ~ what?
I visited this location on the very busy afternoon of December 22, 2018 and the line was pretty long.They were clearly under-staffed as the manager, a very efficient & pleasant lady named Munni, was also taking & serving orders. The food was excellent though- especially the chicken. One suggestion in addition to increasing the staff would be to have a long bench set up along the wall to the right of (and for) the people waiting in line. Popeyes Chicken is an all time favorite for my family. Keep up the good work! LOVE THAT CHICKEN FROM POPEYES!!!
Great food, friendly service, but they can have long wait times which as far as I know there the only popeyes in that area so thats probably why.
This is one to the most unprofessional places in the Popeyes franchise The staff is rude and to busy having personal conversations instead of serving their customers Furthermore, they have disgusting attitudes. I spent a half an hour waiting to be served with no other customers in front of me. The manager is very ignorant and does not know how to run a business; moreover, there are roaches crawling around in the restaurant. Have they ever heard of an exterminator? If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
I dont recommend nobody to go to Ellens date. The food is not all that good it cost a lot of money. I recommend everybody to go to George Georges Diner. Its a much better place and you get your moneys worth as far as I was concerned every since the old owner left has been nothing. Its been very terrible the way this is a nasty very terrible. The food is very high and the new owners dont have respect. But this is just my opinion. Dont go to Ellies go to Georges best best food. Worth your money You dont have to worry about Hospitality. Very nice. And you enjoy yourself but as far as Ellie goes, this is just my opinion.

I visited today, while the service was fast because not many customers, the manager named Ali wanted to charge me 25 cent extra for sweet and sour sauce, can you believe this, I have come here many times and never a problem if I asked for extra. This manager should be trained or fired his English was very poor and he was from Bangladesh. I requested a refund. I will not go back. As a formal owner of a restaurant I always had my employees treat customers with professionalism and respect. Ali preferred to lose a customer for 25 cent. Ask and you will see they will charge you.
We order $40 dollars worth of food and we didnt even get it, we got someone else order,. The delivery person was rude to me.we got children sandwiches and fires and mashed potatoes. But NO 12pcs chicken and 2 large rice. I gues she keep the my order. Not acceptable at all.

I’m big of Popeyes. Today was Big line but only one person serving peoples. After 30 mins I went to cash counter. I order coke no ice she give me full cup of ice. I have no ranch souce inside my bag. And my fries was cold. That’s y I’m paying attention to management for service talk with employees please. Thank you

Food is fresh and great... if you dont have uber eats or door dash stay away. 20 minute to 30 minute wait standing on line to order at restaurant. After you order it is another 10 minute wait to receive your food. I just dont get it.. everything is already cooked.
Went to this location at 9 pm on a Thursday night when they close at 11:30 pm. The employees said they didnt have chicken strips done and couldnt fry more at that time. Got the same response when I asked for Cajun wings and large mixed fried chicken. All they had were a few legs and thighs. Two and a half hours before closing and they refuse to cook more! So disappointing!

This is the second time I ordered delivery from here and didn’t receive anything. Both times they gave away my order to the wrong person. When the delivery person (an old man) told them so, they refused to believe him, they declined to speak to me over the phone, and even refused to call the manager. DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Order Food From Here 2 Weeks Backs To Back For Some Co-Workers Of Mine. Last Week I Placed An Order For My Co-Worker A 5 PCS Tender Meal With A Raspberry Iced Tea ,When I Dropped Of The Food They Had Given Me Raspberry Soda. Today I Order 2 Of The Chicken Sandwiches 1 Classic And 1 Spicey , When My Co-Worker Went To Eat Her Sandwich The Bread Had Mold On It. I Have My Reciept And Photos To Prove It. I Drove Back To Bring The Mold To Their Attention , Inwhich They Apologized And Offered To Give Me Another 2 Sandwiches. While Waiting At The Counter There Was A Roach On The Floor Eating Biscuit That Was On The Floor And I Have Video.

Popeyes is a victim of its own success. The order line can sometimes stretch all the way to the door. This is compounded by the long wait for orders. The food is good but, if youre in a rush, try going elsewhere.

Its a regular popeyes mixed with a Burger King. Due to the new sandwiches the lines always make it to or past the entrance. Theres nothing special about half a popeyes. The wait area is usually packed as well. Thats about it. Its usually clean but with half a store I expect at least that.
The food is always fresh here the customer service is great they always great you with a smile and the waiting time for your meal is short. I recommend this place is you want to done in or are in a rush.

2021-09-25What a horrible experience. First after waiting online for 10 minutes, I ordered a special - 11 pcs chicken for $16.99 which was displayed in the window. The manager said that was not the special it was the 10 PCs. No problem! Wrong! She then proceeded to tell me I could only order Leg and Thigh. Not giving me any sort of explanation. I agreed. I also asked for a soda. She didn’t even asked the flavor, giving me CocaCola. Horrible service and no sense of customer service. WILL NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION AGAIN!

2022-05-11I would give this zero stars, but that isn’t a option. customers will wait on line for 30+ minutes, and the service is terribly slow. if you want to get your food fast & not having to wait so long, don’t come to this popeyes. extremely unprofessional & unbelievable how slow they are.

2022-07-10Ive had a very bad experience here.I ordered a 8 price, I asked them if they could give me 2 Breast, 2 legs, 2 wings, 2 Drums, (The laat time i was there i got 3 legs,2 small wings 1 Brest.) Now the casher charged me per peice.And to top it off when I got home they was a wing shy.(7 peice) and the chicken was bland no color, the breading was more tan then golden..IT WAS A ALL AROUND BAD EXPERIENCE FOR THE 2ND TIME.Look befor you leap into this POPEYES.

2022-03-210 Stars, stay away if you care about your food. Fountain soda wasnt replaced, was flat, had to pour out. Heavyset Black lady at register (looks like Julia is talking about the same one) argued with me about what I ordered, I had to come back, she checked receipt and realized she was wrong. They also snatched the receipt right from my senior-citizen fathers hands because they forgot to put it on the order hanger.Fries were soggy, chicken was old, and the service was generally rude. Talking over and not providing service. Never coming back.

2022-04-07Horrible! The only one standing on line she finally calls me up and then she walks away, she starts to talk with the manager about what had happened from a previous customer and totally forgot about me. They also have the shrimp basket for $6 they got it for 6.99. The girl on the left is the manager she was yelling at me....instead of asking if I was being takin care of.NEVER WILL GO BACK!

2022-02-16The wired customer service , I never face like this situation. Today I went there at 1.45 pm to buy spicy chicken sandwich and 5 wings. The sales associate tag named “REVESE” she took the order.She had no greeting , no hello nothing. Employees were gossiping each other like they don’t care customer. Just Ignored.She had no attention about the order.Even she didn’t say thank you when customers paid for the food.Attention to the Popeyes management : plz change the employee to keep your stores reputation.

2019-07-28Im not gonna lie im not a Popeyes chicken fan. But im here for that new chicken sandwich! It was so flavorful and juicy. Now the bad service has been the same forever. I dont care if its 3 people on line or 5 understand that you will spend the better part of your time on line and then waiting some more to actually receive your food. Oh n the new pie was skippable for me. Im a peanut butter fan and if i see peanut butter in the name i expect to taste it. Where is it??!!!

2022-05-06People are complaining about Popeyes restaurant in Parkchester ( but people are not realizing there are only four workers all the time two in the back cooking and two in the front taking care of the cashier and and preparing the food it is not their fault that they are shorthanded that is corporate‘s fault The employees try so hard to please everyone and people are so nasty with them that is very uncalled for

2022-03-14The wait in line the 2 cashiers if they could gossip anymore the heavyset blk woman nasty attitude just gave me whatever pieces of chicken she wanted while gathering my order she complaining how she did not open the registers this morning & she wont lady just quit finally gave me my food & I still said ty than she barley said bye so she can finish flapping her gums the chicken is dry & soggy this darn breast so big you sure a chicken this came from NEVER
