Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in other cities:
Exceptionally useless staff. I show up to the store at 9 p.m. to find out the doors are locked. I call and ask if the store was still open and was told yes and that the lobby was open. When I explained the doors were locked they proceeded to tell me they werent and hung up. I stood there and a staff member never came to open them so I could retrieve my online order.
Very typical Popeyes. One of the only restaurants open in the area for late night dining. The drive-thru was terribly slow, service was mediocre. Everything was okay up to placing the order, but once youve got to the window and looked inside to see how filthy it looked it was definitely a turn off. I get that its busy but you eat with your eyes. If you are absolutely starving and its late then stop by, otherwise I would skip this place.
I’ve lost my patience with this location. Today I called and asked what time do they close the door. They said 11 pm, so I cancelled my plans of where I was going to stop there first. I walked 15 min to this location I get there at 10:50 pm and the door was locked. I called and I spoke to e the woman and she told me I have to order through the drive through window. I’ve been patient with this place but today was it for me. F Them
I was completely blown away by how incredible every one of the staff was especially when they were INSANELY BUSY and theres a pandemic going on. I expected them to be short and rude but they were kind, warm and accommodating. Also everything came out perfect/delicious. Whoever was working 5/19 at 6:30 pm should get a huge reward for remarkable customer service. Please be kind to them they deserve it.
Ordered a meal as I dont drink soda I asked for water how does a multi million dollar or billion dollar franchise serves me water from bjs brand Wellsley farms water I dont even buy that water for my own home and I asked for strawberry jam and they gave me burger King brand jam smh
The restaurant is clean and the food is fresh (or at least it seems that way). The only gripe i have is the staff and manager seem to be miserable. The manager seemed like my questions were annoying or taking up her precious time. Smile once in a while and people will be less weary to eat at your establishment. If it seems like you are unhappy where you work, then people think you will cut corners because you just dont care....and that is terrifying when it comes to chicken...
Great service not always very clean. It’s a very busy place so I guess it hard to keep up with keeping the tables and floors clean. The food is usually made well. I’ve never had a problem with the staff they’re always great. Not a bad place to sit and eat during it’s down time. They always also have the cool new sodas machines with the touchscreen and all the flavors.
There are so many ladies that are straight up rude and give you an absurd amount of food. I remember once, I asked for a 1/4 LB shrimp, and there were only 11 pieces of tiny shrimp, almost like crumbs in the box. The food doesnt get on time, and sometimes youll have to wait a long time to get the food, and the ladies sometimes argue with you when youre trying to clarify something. Honestly, I remember the lady with the purple glasses telling me, I know what Im doing. You are confusing me. You dont know, when I was just trying to tell her that she can give me a dollar back because I gave it in by accident, and it took her 10 seconds to process a dollar difference??? Besides that, their food is decent, and okay service, this place has really gone down the road overtime. I really miss Luna
This place made me wait over an hour and a half for an order. They never called to update me on my order, I had to keep calling and the person I spoke to kept telling me they had no eta on my order. There was no attempt to rectify the situation; when this kind of thing happens the restaurant should offer some sort of relief to the customer. There was no apology nor compensation; the fact that I had to keep calling is still driving me up a wall.
Had visted to try the famous chicken sandwich everyone was crazed over but unfortunately they ran out of and no longer selling. So, we ordered the chicken tenders and to our surprise they were large, soft, fresh and delicious. Of course this place is surrounded by other fast-food places and the Dollor Tree close by.
Pretty standard Popeyes, the drive-thru can get very busy since it is at a pretty hectic intersection. Make sure to avoid coming here right after school gets out because there can be a very long line. There is plenty of seating inside, as well as pretty decently sized parking lot. For the most part the food is always very fresh, and I would recommend it for a quick meal.
Ok so first glance I see the manager eyeing me as I go to the cash register so I IMMEDIATELY felt uneasy. I brought my 3 kids Kevin Leilani and Samantha to get them a well cooked meal as the good mother I am and this random Indian guy starts cursing me out saying that there’s no more chicken sandwiches but i knew he was lying so I stuck his head in the deep fryer and DEMANDED to get the sandwiches. So besides all the trauma I went thru I brushed it off and said let me just order already. I order 2 spicy and 1 regular. And I open the sandwich and I kid u not there was a toe nail right on the breeding of the chicken 🤢. And the pickles weren’t even sliced they were WHOLE and my younger kid Kevin started choking and I took him to the emergency room and I’m still there right now waiting for the results so yea don’t EVER order the new sandwich from this place you WILL be disappointed and be ready to file a law suit
This location has the most expedient and accurate service of all the Popeye franchises that Ive had the pleasure of visiting. The workers are cordial and always seem to genuinely enjoy being at work and the manager is always right there on the front line helping to service the customers and is extremely engaging which makes for a wonderful experience.
I gave this place 1 star 6 months ago and I returned today and still saw the same situation as before.I ordered the deal of 10 pcs for $12.99 all spicy. I notice all chicken already fried were not on the visible front side which was absolutely empty. Instead, the lady had to go around and pick out my chicken... I saw her actually moving around the bigs ones and looking for the smaller ones. After selecting a few from the corner on her right (all spicy), she returned back to the front and informed me that there were no more spicy chicken and I would have to wait 10 mins or take mild instead. I asked her about the other chickens she was moving around, she replied, they were breasts. I ordered spicy and you have spicy over there so give me all spicy breast, I replied. She did not want to give them until the another girl spoke to her in bengali and she proceeded to give them to me. There used to be an african american girl in that store who served very well and never went through sorting out the chicken to serve customers. All of employees are from bangladesh and they do not eat popeye chicken simple becase it is not halal. I CANNOT GET GOOD SERVICE AND EAT GOOD FROM A PLACE WHERE NO ONE EAT WHAT THEY PREPARE!. I do not recommend this place and please keep an eye open as you place your order... request the chicken to be visible, in the FRONT... and ask them if they eat what they serve. I need to talk to chain management. IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME MORE THAN ONCE, THE VERY SAME LOCATION. I NEED SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME ASAP. I will take this to consumers affair. BAD SEVICE NOT WORKING FOR THE COMMUNITY.
Be careful with this location I saw a worker coughing in the air near the food she never covered her mouth. Times like this with Corona that’s disgusting make sure you heat up your food after buying it from here the workers don’t care and you can’t see what they are doing with the food when you’re in the drive through. I will not be coming back to this location.
When I think of having to pick up from this location I wanna cry 🤦♀️ Not sure what the issue is here but it never changes. They cant keep.up.with uber and customers. Wait times are insane Ive waited ONE HOUR FOR AN ORDER HERE. .This location gets extremly busy so I am sympathetic and exercise patience. But theres times I swear nothing is being done, evryone looks lost or in slow motion I swear. I dont know how theyve lasted in that chaos I rly dont only god does
Poor management in dispatching orders placed via Uber eats and Postmates. Waited 30 minutes and then customer cancelled order. They were fulfilling doordash orders but Uber eats and Postmates were kept waiting delivery people were kept waiting. No sense of urgency to fill orders!
The cashier was extremely rude because I asked for sauce . I was willing to pay for the sauce but then she got extra mad when I gave her the $20 for the sauce , it’s all I had . She proceeds to toss the sauce so carelessly it popped in the bag 🙄again which was my fault for not catching it !!!! I will never come here again !!!!
Food was great as usual. The service was fast and good. However, it seems that the small sides are getting smaller for their price. Also, they had this security that was harrased by this guy who apparently had been in the restaurant earlier and caused some trouble with one of the cashiers and the security. This guy returned and apologized to the security guard then went to the counter to have words with the cashier. The security approached this guy at the counter then things got nasty. This guy was all up in the securitys face yelling, cussing, and threating him. The security left and went out into the parking lot. The guy then turned his rant on all of us in the restaurant. The guy followed. Again the guy was up in the securitys face. I dont know why none of the Popeyes staff did not call the cops or assist the security. Some of them clearly saw what I did. This security handled himself alfully well for what he went through. He had no radio, gun, or stick to protect himself and no one in the restaurant was looking out for him.

2022-05-23Always skimpy with the food, whenever you go to any Popeyes and order 6 piece tender you get 7 or 8 pieces. Im spending $10 plus dollars on some chicken tenders the least you can do is throw me an extra tender, it wont break your bank and the tenders at this location are always rubbery and under cooked and tough meat. My advice is to go to another Popeyes location where a customer is appreciated, you get a little extra chicken in your box, especially in todays economy, that makes a customer feel appreciated.

2022-05-10This is the CLEANEST Popeyes I’ve ever seen. I’ve been to the one in Spanish Harlem (scary) and in parkChester (illogical and rude) and this is by far the friendliest. They literally say good morning to each other. OMG. The morale here is good.

2021-12-12Other reviews have mentioned the long drive-up line, but it’s to be expected with being open later than other restaurants in the area.Another reason for the length of the drive-through is likely how good the food is- even though this location isn’t the closest to us, my wife often insists that we go here just because it’s so much better than the closer ones! However, last night I had an experience which may turn me off from this location entirely: they didn’t have any spicy chicken!Okay, that’s not the entire story: It’s true, they didn’t have any spicy chicken, but I was told at first that they would in 15 minutes. After talking it over with my wife, I decided to wait, so I went back in line (yes, the extremely long and slow-moving drive-through line) to not inconvenience everyone else- but by the time I got back up to the ordering speaker, they had apparently decided against making another batch of spicy chicken, and instead told me “I don’t think we’ll have any more of that tonight.” They should have just said that in the first place!

2022-05-26The location is very unique for business, but is lacking proper customer service. The food is bland. Because of the quick turnover the food lacks flavor.

2022-04-07This place is the worst place ever I ordered food from there and the box that Im supposed to get 20 pieces on it but yet they only gave me eight pieces. That is such false advertisement and then they want people to come and support and buy their food this is the worst and the Bronx area so disappointed and the way food is presented nowadays dont know who to trust not even the people that makes your food
