I have been ordering from Bobs since the mid90s although not that often in recent years, my son and his father have spent enough to pay their rent on several occasions. My sons father orders from there twice a week on average. My son orders from there almost regularly. In other words, yeah you get the idea, weve been loyal customers for many years. My son just ordered from there last week! We live on the outskirts of Buffalo. We placed an order from there earlier today. I spent $57 and some change plus a $5 tip. I pick it up, took an hour to get there as usual. I get the food home and you cant even cut through the pizza with a pizza cutter. Now they had to have noticed this because they pre-cut the slices like most places but it wasnt cut through just the to. We could NOT cut it. We tried to go over it with our pizza cutter using the slice marks previously made by Bobs staff, to no avail. I was so hungry I tore it off, destroying the triangular shapes. It looked like an autopsy. I said, whatever, as long as it tastes good and its edible who cares. Well, we couldnt chew it. I hurt my teeth and so did my son. His father couldnt believe it. Heres the best part, when I called and complained ( I was very Dale Carnegie until the last part of conversation), she said I waited too long to pick it up and it was all my fault. She would give me a $5 credit thats it. Even though they knew perfectly well nothing but a bad crust could cause something like that. My two year old grandson couldnt bite into it as well and I didnt want him injuring his baby teeth so he was able to eat some of the Loafer. I lost it and ended up hanging up on them. Covid or no Covid, no excuse. They lost my son as a customer. Not because of the bad crust, but just the poor way I was treated.
Wow, I just ordered for the first time. Burrito and onion rings with delivery, only 11 but. Burrito is HUGE, tons of rings that I ordered crispy . Food got here super quick and my god am I surprised how good this is! Great job guys. Your delivery guy was cool too! Just delivered today on mothers day around 630pm!
HOLY ****. This pizza was absolutely 100% AWESOME! Kim took our order and was completely nice and sweet. I team drive over the road trucking and they were nice enough to even deliver. The pizza arrived, hot and heavy with all its goodness. My co-driver was actually sweating from this pizza pie. We both ate half and im about to pass out into a food coma! Thanks again for the love and food. See ya next go around, 10-4!
Absolute worst pizza ever. the cheese was hardly melted, the sauce had zero flavor. Plus they forgot to make part of my order so I had to wait even longer. the only saving part was that the wings were huge but not crispy like i asked for plus the top of the blue cheese was not closed so it spilled all over the wings if you do not like blue cheese your out of luck to eat any. Never again, lesson learned. Look at bad reviews first, I should have paid more attention.
Local pizza restaurant. Should have know better to order fish frys. Sides were pretty good . $30 for a cold soggy plate of fish and French fries . Wanted to keep business local. Those styrofoam containers just sweat and make everything soggy. 3/4 went in the garbage
Excellent pizza. We baked it at home a few minutes to make the crust a little more crispy. Lots of tasty.sause and cheese. Price was reasonable compared to other pizzerias.
So many times I ordered double wings, I told them to put the celery in a separate bag and not in the box with the hot wings thrown on top of them, That makes them hot and soggy,Guess what they never done that many times so I refused them. Called the owner BOB, the next day, told him what happened he told me that he has MORONS working for him, I had to refuse the wings so many times, BOBS lost me as a customer, I use to order 2-3 times a week. Its been a long time now and I wonder if they still cant get the orders RIGHT ! There are so many places to buy wings and pizzas around here that BOBS is just a bad memory.SORRY BOB I still dont know how you can still be in business, and exactly how many good customers have you LOST because of your MORON workers ? I now buy elsewhere and have NO PROBLEMS.
Order a large cheese and pep pizza for delivery and it took over an hour so I cancel the order...considering they premake their pies I dont get the hour and 15 mins.o well why is there no good pizza places in cheektowaga?

I tried to order food from this place I got nothing but arguments from the kid on the phone. The online menu stated they had a lrg chz and pep with 30 wings and a 2liter of PEPSI for 35$ and they tried charging me ten dollars more then that price got extremely nasty when I asked for a Pepsi snapped at me in a loud voice WE DONT SERVE PEPSI ONLY COKE when asking for a manager got a attitude this was my first time attempting to order and will NEVER EVER ORDER AGAIN I CANCELED MY FIRST ORDER so unprofessional and staff is horrible dont waste your time or money I ended up feeding my family lunettas and have no complaints for that restuarant yum yum
The pizza was nasty sauce had no flavor I wish I never stoped after a hard day at work I brought a small pie cheese seems like it not real I ate 2 slices throwing the rest away little ceaser would of taste better work on your sauce and dough and cheese do not waste time and money

We love this place. It was the 1st place we tried when we moved here and I am hooked on their loafers. Think calzone but baked in french/italian bread! Yummy!

My family has dealt with several pizza places and always end up disappointed for one reason or another. The one place we ordered from on a regular basis just kept getting worse so we tried Poplar Pizza.First off their Loafers are amazing. Their subs are great too. With so many places, by the time you get your sub its smashed up or just sloppy as hell but, it hasnt been that way with the orders placed at Poplar. So last night I ordered a chicken dinner and omg it was delicious. Oh , Im very picky about mac salad but, Poplars was so good. And last but not least, when I called and placed my order whoever I spoke to was very friendly. So Im a very satisfied customer. It sure is nice speaking to a friendly voice and not a b**ch when Im placing an order. As long as the service stays the same I will continue to order from Poplar.

2022-07-17I make varying simple orders usually for dinner that range from getting a LG pepperoni, lite on the cheese and cooked well done. Or its a beef on weck with chips and OR lastly a 10 piece chicken wing bones in cooked extra crispy and the drink is always a 2 liter cherry Pepsi. First week of July I ordered the pizza as stated above- it was not cooked well done- the crust was just tan in wellness. I called, told the manager it wasnt cooked as ordered. I had called them times in the past b/c I got an all cheese pizza when I ordered the above stated, French fries when I ordered chips, returned a 20oz drink b/c I ordered the 2liter Cherry Pepsi and the driver even questioned it as he knew it was s supposed to be a 2 liter. Now when I make the orders I repeat it twice & employer repeats it back. On this day of the call to the manager she told me I need to go someplace else, all I do is complain, and that the employees do the best they can.Well who are they hiring??? My orders are clearly stated and repeated. Its too bad, the food is great when I get the food I ordered and I wont be complicating Popular Pizzas life anymore. Wheres the competent employee??? I hope your owner gets to read this as I pay your increased prices, the delivery fees plus tips for the driver and only want what I order.

2022-04-22I am very disappointed in the service that I received today. I went in and I ordered an antipasto with my sub expecting to get an antipasto the kind that has noodles and cheese and meat, on the menu it was simply labeled antipasto under sides and salads, it did not specify that it was a gree salad and nor did it list the ingredients. What I received was a green salad topped with veggies meet and cheese. When we returned to see if we could exchange the item or get a refund for it the gentleman was extremely rude and refused to refund me and said this is Buffalo and this is what antipasto is. The customer service was over all disappointing, and after leaving an employee came to my work and told my boss that I am not welcome there going forward. If you want to be treated with respect and given Quality Service I recommend you go elsewhere.

2020-12-13This place is no longer called Bobs, but just Poplar pizza. Came this evening because Poplar pizza, is one of many places participating in the Shop 716 gift card program. The pizza was good, especially if you like thick crust edges. (great for dunking in blue cheese) I wouldve really enjoyed the pizza more, if it had some seasonings on it. It was just a little to plain, of a flavor to me. The wings was good, nice size and crispy.

The daily specials are priced cheaper then almost any place Ive tried & the wings are huge & pizza is delicious.I dont like when the crust is flat, but some do, mention how you like it & theyll make it your way.They also catered my sons birthday party & everyone loved it.Thanks Kim & Ryan!!

2021-03-24This is the 2nd time I ordered from Poplar, trying of course a chance of redemption...quite a disappointment. I ordered a large cheese and pepperoni and a bucket of wings; requesting 1/2 extra crispy. My pizza was extra greasy and my wings were sponge-like and all for the not so worthy cost of $58.00...Needless to say my money is well spent elsewhere such as William St. Pizza (formally Ricottas)

2019-09-12First off, I cant comment on anything but the Loafers they offer. However, coming from the Albany area and dealing with Strombolis, the loafer really surprised me. They are freaking delicious. My flatmates and I would order from here more than once a week - ( We had a problem ) - The food is always hot and always made correctly. The customer service is great too. I highly recommend the chicken fingers loafer, plain w/ BBQ on the side. Anyways, this establishment made a great concept into mouthwatering deliciousness! Bravo to them. I want a loafer now...
