I had my car serviced today, oil change and tire rotation.Great experience.Meg and Steve are awesome. They were friendly and welcoming. Steve quickly checked me in, reviewed with me the work I was having done and answered all my questions. He then showed me where the waiting area was.The waiting area was very clean, magazines were current, a TV to watch, coffee and water if I wanted.When my car was ready, Meg carefully went over the bill with me, reminded me of any upcoming required services and answered any questions I had.The Port Jervis Auto Mall makes a boring but necessary task very pleasant!Would highly recommend.
Great people, friendly atmosphere, and no pressure. Make you feel like you’re part of the family. Went in just looking, left 4hours later with a brand new vehicle with 4miles on it. None of that 500 miles test rides like other dealerships. Highly recommended. Bill Hendershot is a great person to talk with, as are all the other employees.
Wont be getting my truck serviced here again. Overall poor experience starting with the service writer, asked a simple question and couldnt get a straight answer. Got my truck back, made it 5 miles and started smelling oil only to find what looked like the filter housing leaking. Really cant blame the mechanic, he was swamped with work but the writer, while decent on the phone got snotty with me in person. Really bad vibe from word go and felt I waisted 200 bucks on a service all because of him. Definitely taking my business elsewhere.
My service writer, (Megan),was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and kept me informed as to what was going on with my Wrangler while it was in the service bay. After I was there for a couple of hours, she apologized for how long it was taking, but explained exactly why it was. That was very much appreciated. She also was able to procure a loaner car so I could complete a couple of errands. When the repairs were done, she asked if I had any questions, to which I replied I had none as everything has been explained in great detail. I will definitely return should I need repairs in the future.
I bought my car there a few years ago. I love my car. I only gave three stars because I wanted my plate transferred and they gave me a new plate. So I had to return my empire plate for an orange one which was an inconvenience and I lost the money I paid for the remaining time I had renewed them. So I had to pay for the new plates before my old ones were due. But the sales person was very nice and I believe was the owners son. The car also did need some maintenance I feel could have been taken care of before they sold it like the control arm needed repair and I had to replace brake lines a month or two after buying it. But after that my car was great. Nothing crazy outside of normal car maintenance and the price was okay.
Wonderful experience from start to finish. Mitch was a friendly, easy going and professional sales person who made the experience easy and to the point. Chris in finance got us a good loan and was very nice and professional. I was so impressed with all the precautions taken during Covid that made me feel at ease. I also appreciated the no hidden cost and the deal was all upfront. Fantastic place! Thanks to a super team of friendly staff all around!
Friendly and fast service. Courteous staff. Knowledgeable. Felt quite comfortable in understanding the issues with my car. Everything was explained clearly. The service manager, Brian Bush, was helpful, courteous and professional. I will recommend Port Jervis automall to everyone. This will be my service center for my automobile from now on
I just closed and moved into a house up in the Hudson Valley and really needed a reliable car quickly for local driving. Spoke with Marie and she was quite responsive, fast & extremely helpful. Within two days I had the deal done on a GREAT car, thanks to Marie & Their Finance Manager, Larry. Thanks to both of them, They also made sure the car was protected, giving me peace of mind, and at a price that was doable. I HIGHLY recommend them!
Sold me a car with many issues for way too much $::.. I take blame for not having a realMechanic check it out first.. ..but here I am to warn others.. I’ve had it just over a year and have returned to have it fixed 4 separate times. The first time within 2 months of purchase for a full engine replacement.. I reviewed them after the engine incident and got a response of argument and then assurance that if I call my issues would be felt with.. I called twice and no she didn’t not return my call.. don’t shop here
So nice and friendly! Service was quick and efficient especially considering it was right around the holiday season! Stephan in the service department was awesome, I had some trouble with my headlight and he broke down the work that needed to be done and the cost during this stressful time of year. Made it suchworry free repair! I have purchased numerous cars from here always a positive experience!
I needed a new used car since my other one was on its last leg. I went to Port Jervis Automall, where Ricco, Chris R and Larry got me into a nice used car at a monthly rate I could afford. If you are looking for a new or used car please go to them. They are worth the trip and our honest, which is hard to find in the car business.
Bill was a great salesman. I was looking at several different vehicles from multiple dealerships. I appreciated the fact that he wasnt pushy like the other dealerships. He was very responsive when I emailed him questions. I felt he gave me the best price from the beginning and didnt play games with numbers.
This is a great place to purchase a car. I came all the way from Massachusetts to buy from here. They dont play games and honor the price that you discuss with them. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would definitely buy from them again. During the process I have dealt with Marie B. and she was very helpful and accommodating.
In the past most trips to a dealers service center have been more painful than a trip to the dentist. This was my first trip to the service center since I bought my truck there (also a good experience). These people were wonderful! They were friendly, professional, the work was done promptly and I wasnt hassled to spend more money on other services. This is why I will continue to drive past two other Chrysler / Ram dealerships to do business here.
No nonsense sales, no hidden fees or surprise charges like all of the other dealers I visited. Also, Bill (the salesman) delivered on his post sale promises and Brian (the finance guy) was informative and helpful regarding financing as well as very quick with the paperwork. I feel that it was a great car buying experience. They even gave me a loaner vehicle while my truck was being prepped. All around, it was top notch service, before, during and after the sale.
Marie, Rico and Larry went above and beyond to get me into the truck I really wanted. I was treated like family rather than some random customer. There were plenty of other dealerships closer to me that I could have taken my business to. Instead I traveled the extra miles to get better service. Highly recommend!
Absolutely horrendous, quality of service is very poor, sell pre owned vehicles without checking them over before sending them out so if you have children I wouldn’t buy anything from them because if safety reasons. I’ve bought two ore owned jeep wranglers from here, I’ve spent Multiple hr trips one way out and back for nasty service and for issues I’ve found with the vehicles myself and these technicians who are supposedly qualified to diagnose and fix vehicles couldn’t spot half the issues I have found myself Have proof of the multiple trips I’ve spent on my days off.
The lack of communication sucks. The time we worked with this service department was bad. We got 4 new tires, aligned and balanced 12/31/2018. By the end of April 2019 (6000 miles later) there was metal showing on the driver side front tire. We brought it in to them. Their mechanic looked at it and said, that it must have been human error with the allignment. They said they would give us 2 new tires, balanced and aligned at no charge. They ordered them and we brought the Jeep back in for them to fix it. They called and said it was done we could pick it up after 6 that night. We drove the hour back out there after working all day. It was locked inside, still on the lift. When they called the next day they said that the drivers side had a broken spring and the struts were going. We should replace both sides and we would have to pay for the new tires also since it was not human error =$750.00. We told them to forget it. They said they had already put new tires on, so we needed to pay for them=$220.00. It ended up we paid $102.00 and one of the new tires was flat when we got there.🤨
I enjoyed dealing with Jim, my sales person. I spoke with him on the phone prior to coming in and when I got there he met me at the door and was very friendly. At no point did he pressure me into any decisions, explained all of my options and was very helpful throughout the process. Jim and Port Jervis Auto Mall will be my first stop for my next car.
Dictation of family members who do not use the internet often: The woman Mary who sold us our cars didnt do what she was supposed to do and did not tell us that our cars did not come with navigation. All the cars weve ever bought with a screen in it has automatically come with navigation in it with no need to buy an add on subscription. Our neighbor has the same car, with navigation, a year older, came automatically.(myself now, not dictation:) We came in later to check an issue in one of the cars- one of the men who helped us with the long hair was rude to my mother. He had an over-all direct manner of speaking which I can accept because some people are like that (although he was pretty smiley, friendly, nowhere near direct or dry with the woman he helped after us but that is neither here nor there) but upon my mother asking about the missing navigation issue, he spoke to her as if she were a moron even trying to draw it out in crayon so to speak so she could understand in laymans terms. He obviously works in the service station because he knows enough about cars to fix them- so he should know damn well that cars HAVE BEEN coming equipped with navigation automatically for YEARS. Didnt listen to WHY she asked the question, just continued to cut her off to explain why she was wrong.
Honest people, not pushy at all. We were able to get what we needed at a good price and they worked with the bank to get us a good deal instead of trying to push us into a vehicle that they wanted off their lot. My wife and I had been car shopping for 2 months and kept getting the run-around from several different dealers. Port Jervis Auto Mall got the deal done in a day.
Very professional service dept.caring responsible, and make you feel like much more than a customer.more like family, who says that? But its true.very reasonable prices for a dealership.if you have a jeep, thats the place to go for service.tell them I sent you.lol. you wont be disappointed.
The saleswoman was polite and professional. The man handling financing, an Indian fellow, was the opposite. Was rude and condescending, made us wait for an extra 90 minutes while he handled other customers, one who sauntered in after we were queued already, then actually yelled at my wife when we declined his financing offer on a truck. Four hours of my life I’ll never get back. Other than that the place was OK I guess and our new Hyundai Tucson, purchased down the road is awesome!

Every purchase has be easy, hassle free. My salesman (Mitchell) was awesome, but the rest of the dealership is like a funeral home. Not one person said hello to me or even smiled the entire time I was there ... My car was dirty, not detailed at all. Only one finance person on a busy Saturday is a joke. They wanted me to switch over insurance without even seeing final numbers on the car. The Had to wait nearly three hours to see the finance guy. The entire time it felt like you were doing ME a favor by letting me but a car from you. It should be the other way around a little bit. Forgot my easy pass in my trade-in, called them twice and left messages ... What do you know, no call back and they sold the car.
Ive purchased several cars from the PJ Automall.. From the Manager Rico to the Service Manager Paul Ive received nothing but the best service and have been happy with all of my purchases. Prompt delivery & fantastic follow up service will keep me coming back. They do a great job & are worth doing business with.
DO NOT have service done here. Maybe an oil change, they do get lucky every now and again. But if you have anything major...all they do is guess. I even told them what was wrong, and finally they listened. Still having major issue. Taking it somewhere else.Oh and get this...after picking up the truck and realizing it was not fixed, I called back the service manager I was dealing with and left a message in the AM. I called back and left a second message late in the afternoon. His response, why didnt you make an appointment.....I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO. it should have been fixed and tested the first time.Good luck if you use this place
I test drove a vehicle and agreed on a price with salesman on a saturday.The next monday they picked me up to get the vehicle and the first thing I said was that I wanted to look at the vehicle, the salesman got the key and brought me outside and started showing the vehicle to me. Immediately I noticed differences from the vehicle I test drove and after going around the whole vehicle I called him on the switch which he denied at first and his father a business manager handling my financing there came out and then they tried to tell me that this was a better vehicle. I was pissed off and told them any agreements we had were null and void and made them drive me home. I also called their manager and told him what his people were trying to do to their customers.
I give this place NO stars.... I drove 29.6 miles to have 2 recalls done on my truck only to get there and be told the computer went down yesterday and they did not know if they would be able to do the job. When I asked why they did not call me yesterday Megan(woman at counter in service) said they did not know if the computers would be working today. I think when you have someone traveling that far they should have called me yesterday and let it be my choice to reschedule. after waiting for 30 minutes she (Megan) calls me back to the counter to tell me its a system wide issue and the computers were still not working, but she could get me in to the Dodge dealer in Warwick now 25 miles away. When I said doesnt system wide mean everyone she said no and she was doing me a courtesy. When I said no a courtesy would have been to call me yesterday and let me make the choice to reschedule she told me to leave. I WILL NEVER GO BACK OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE EVER AGAINPosting for my friend Marcy. Need to get the word out.
I tried doing business here but couldnt get a sales person on the phone after 4 attempts spread out through 2 days so I just stayed with the dealership I ve been using for the last 15 years, M&M in Liberty. Never had an issue there but I always shop around to make sure I am getting the best deal before any new car purchase. I read the reviews and they are all bad experiences. As a business owner I will say that people tend to take time out to talk about the problems but not many actually do so when they are happy. I noticed one of the reviews on a used car states the driveshaft was rusted and this means the car was probably in a flood. This is a huge problem with Google Reviews and why you cant take them too serious! That negative post should not have been posted sine this buyer obviously does NOT know what they are talking about. If the driveshaft is steel, a brand new vehicle driveshaft would be fully rusted as well. Uneducated buyers can hurt a potentially good business establishment. In this case the dealer is still at fault because if they would have taken to time to speak to the person and explain what I am explaining then very likely that negative post would not be there.In closing, keep in mind the location of the dealership...Good Help is hard to find in any area, give these guys some forgiveness for the slim pickens they have to deal with in their surrounding area for help. Its no excuse but if the vehicle is what you want and price is right, take it and service else where. Most service departments suck anyway. Give these guys a chance
I hate this dealership! They have awful costumer service and are so rude to talk to. I saw a jeep that looked good from the outside but when I went underneath the drive shaft was ridiculously rusted out. That could mean it was in a flood. I was still going to look at the jeep anyway cause maybe that wasnt the case. When I got 45 min toward the place they called and said that the price online is 3 grand lower than the actual price. They wouldnt honor the price to me and told me that Im crazy and all humans make mistakes Im sure you have made a lot too. NEVER BUY FROM THIS DEALER!

2022-07-02Jake was very responsive to my texts and emails. We drove a distance to come and he was very helpful. Jim was also super nice and tried to get us out in a timely manner. There were no “market adjustments” and our car was not overpriced.

2022-07-01Bought a used pickup. While truck had high milage, never felt ridiculed. Treated very respectfully. Told them where I would like to be on price. They got close. No pressure and everyone including the finance guy worked with me and didnt try to make me do something I didnt want to.Sales associate Anthony(Tony) Serritella was great!

2022-04-09We had our car serviced here because most of the work was covered under warranty. We arrived to pick up the car and it wasnt fixed, undriveable. They were aware but still told us to pick up the car. We had to fight for a loaner- but the work was covered, they found a part that wasnt covered to increase the cost. When the car was finally done they installed defective roaters but the work order stated it was road tested. We went back for the fourth visit (there was an inspection issue inbetween) and they installed parts that we asked not to be installed. Please dont use them. They are rude and out to make a dollar.

2021-10-14Very satisfied with my experience at PJAM. Both front end employees listened to my concerns and were very thorough in recording details related to my service issue for my Ram. Megan Fitzpatrick did an outstanding job keeping me informed throughout the service regarding expected wait time and any updates from tech findings. She explained the outcome from the tech notes with customer care and answered all questions I had very nicely. Great customer service from Megan! Techs also did a super job in recording other found issues to bring to my attention. Great communication from Megan and the service department.
