Slightly greasy, other than that fantastic, delicious, staff gets a 8.5-9/10, nothing bad, no attitudes or anything just couldve been slightly more attentive. Overall pretty good experience.
I use to love this place when I use to live in port Jervis ❤️😊 it was my favorite pizza spot the food was delish 💓 when ever I come visit Im definitely coming here first 💯❤️ I would recommend anyone to come here and eat 😊
I would say best in port Jervis but not in the area as a hole there are better pizzeria but if you live in port this is a good choice if you didnt what to go to Matamoras.

The family deals from Port Jervis Brick Oven Pizza are difficult to pass. We bought the 29 dollar family combo which included a large cheese pizza, garlic bread, chicken wings, a small salad and a 2 liter soda. Additionally, we bought a spinach calzone and an eggplant parm hero. Once we picked up our order and brought it home, we realized that the soda was missing. Regardless, we werent going to complain but discuss it at a later date- moreover, when we possibly might order another meal.Yet, what was seemingly a good family dinner turned out to be a deceiving meal. The food was heavy on the oil and left five in the family with upset stomachs afterward. The possible culprit were the chicken wings- although the garlic bread was also overly buttered and the tast kept returning to the mouth even the next morning. Those who did not have the chicken wings had no issue, but those who did had upset stomachs. Perhaps, the oil in which the chicken wings are made in was old- an issue that Gordon Ramsey would find when inspecting restaurants.Its a shame to realize that food which tasted good actually is not of high caliber. Definitely, not going to return to Port Jervis Brick Oven Pizza for a long while.
Pizza was undercooked and baked ziti dry and mostly noodles w little sauce and cheese. Nasty to say the least

I’ve been in port jervis for almost 3 years now, this was my go to spot out of all the pizza restaurants in the local area, if you were to ask me how it was couple months ago I would’ve rated 5 ⭐️ , but now recently going there and finding out that the pizza are minimized and still the same prize I’m truly disappointed, if you’ve ever had dollar pizza from the city trust me there would be no difference.if your gonna change the size of the pizza with less bread and less cheese at least make it more affordable 👎
The pizza here was pretty good. Inside appeared to be clean too but I came for pickup. We told our family about the place and they loved the pizza as well. It’s pretty hard to find decent pizza upstate unless it’s a tiny sourdough pie but theirs is good. Give it a try if you’re kayaking, tubing, swimming or rafting in the Delaware or in the area. If it was closer to us we would be going here a lot more.

First time I sat and ate there. I usually order to go. The server was excellent. Her name was Jenna and treated me like family. The food came out hot and fast. Everything was delicious. This is a place to get good food and great service.
I dont know how they do it.. Every time I come in. The service gets better and the food always tastes great. If in the area must try. You wont be let down. Always a great smile when greeted and hot food and clean tables. My top 5 pizzeria in my travels.
A great lunch special and they have my favorites.. coke products. The pizza was tangy good crust.. a bit more cheese than I like but most people like generous cheese, and the slices were big. Also a shout-out on the service.

Best pizza in Port if you’re looking for a by-the-slice experience! Staff is friendly and attentive, service is relatively quick, and topping selection is great. The buffalo chicken pizza is a must have as well as the pepperoni twists.
Pizza is really good. Plain and grandma have distinctly different sauce (which tends not to be the case normally) based on the taste of their marinara sauce Id say at least their red sauce pasta must be quite good(depending on how its cooked). Mozzarella sticks were cooked to perfection. Only been here once but now on itll be a ritual to stop in when Im in the area

The pizza is good but not great. I judge NY style pizza by eating the plain cheese- it could use a lot more flavor- in the sauce specifically. I like the owners, they are all really awesome. The wings & cheesesteaks are definitely 100% but if you are looking for the best pizza in port jervis go to Taste of Sicily.

One of the best pizzas I’ve had in quite a while. Found this place after my brother told me about it last week. We drive through about once a month so we will be stopping here as often as we can.
I order a cheese steak combo with onion rings and the wife and auntie split a medium extra cheese oven pie amazing sometimes with cheese steaks Ive had in the past the steak is either under seasoned or over seasoned it was pretty damn good!
My wife and I have been eating here consistently for about 2 years and they are by far the best pizzeria in town. Great service and excellent food at decent prices. I couldnt ask for a better experience.
My biggest issue is I thought it was one of the best pizza like it said however, the Pizza 🍕 is very very thin and such little cheese to where the sauce sticks out more than the cheese.

So far I’ve only had a slice of cheese. If you can’t do that right then I’m skeptical. They make great pizza here. Nice sweet tomato sauce with thin crust (not burned but crisp) was very good. I will definitely be coming back to try the rest.
Certainly missed this great pizza due to Covid. But appreciate their concern for their employees and customers. I have always had great, friendly, service. And was thrilled when they reopened, adhering to safety guidelines. Yummy food! You wont be disappointed.
The food was great but the story here are the employees who care about their customers. During their pandemic, they must keep the dining room closed. On a hot day in August ...they helped me get my phone recharged by going way beyond one would expect. Also, since I am disabled and cant stand for long periods of time...they provided outside seating, normally for workers only. This was after a hell of a lot of pain and personal tragedy when the big tropical storm hit the area less than 24 hours before. I enjoyed their pizza and since I live in NYC I can say it was damned close to perfect New York style pizza. If you are in Orange County or any of the nearby areas in Pennsylvania or New Jersey...remember this they treated a complete stranger like a member of their own staff/family and its that kind of customer service you rarely see anywhere these days. Thanks everyone who helped me that difficult Monday!

Ordered a large pizza first one came out bad too much sauce and cheese. The pizza also couldnt hold itself up at all it all flopped. But they made good by it with a fresh pizza that was good little too much sauce again but other wise was good.
Every other times me and my wife travel to port jervis ny. to have brick oven pizza they are pretty good we love to go there , my wife live the spinach calzone and I like the broccoli white cheese , m m m.😁😉🤗 I will recomend anyones to go and visit if you are a pizza lover.

Food is pretty good but service and portions are horrible. Ordered the family fun pack. Take notice to the name. Ordered delivery the women almost just hung up on me after I gave her the address. Didn’t ask my soda or salad dressing preference. It was like an inconvenience. Then the food came there was ONE skimpy cucumber in the whole salad. And and two mini meatballs .

I only had fried Calamari and zeppolis and they were good, but they were very short staffed and we lost our waitress so many times. They had her doing tables and counter. It was ridiculous. The poor girl couldn’t possibly do her job well. I could literally not pay my bill. I ended up waiting in a line of walk in/take out customers for 5 minutes to pay my bill. And it really wasn’t that busy. I guess I’ll try it again. Hopefully it was a one time deal. So I’m kind of on the fence about this place.
Im actually a consistent customer at a different pizza place, but they werent open so I called Port Jervis Pizza. I have to say their Brick oven pizza is really good. I will be getting pizza there often.

The food is decent but both times I had food delivered, they forgot part of my order. The manager fought with me both times saying the same thing that he had personally packaged my order and he remembered putting everything in. If thats the case he has some very hungry drivers!

Our order took an hour and 25 minutes... we were told 45... I called at an hour was told he was in route and still was another 25 minutes. I don’t know if it was good hot but it definitely wasn’t when it was cold. It came highly recommended but I probably wouldn’t order again.

Love Port Jervis Brick Oven Pizza. Im from the Bronx and literally just moved to Godeffroy NY and it is taking some getting used to! HOWEVER, I havent found a pizzeria that I loved. That stops now. Service wasnt so good today. Yes it was busy but the response I got from staff was 1/2 my order was ready and waiting on one plain well 3-4 plain came out and went to other customers.. I ask why I didnt get my 2nd plain pie yet well these are orders ahead of yours... Hmm why one of my plain were ready for 10minutes already... not so sure..

Their wings don’t even have meat on the bones, have no taste. I asked the guy on the phone 3 times to make sure their was parm cheese and plates; never got them. Took over an hour to deliver 5 minutes away. Terrible.
Ordered a Hawaiian pizza and mozerlla sticks the other day. 40 minutes late on delivery time. Mozerlla sticks were soft, soggy and waaayyy undercooked. They werent even edible. Pizza was ok.

Very good pizza and all. The only problem I have with PJ Pizza is there salads. I like antipasto but I cant tell difference from that and their chefs salad. Also the Greek salad needs some help also.

Gotten food there quite a few times both times it was delivered it took over an hour for the food to get there twice I have found hair in my food not to mention because of how long delivery takes last time we went in and if you walk in the store itself you can watch the man making the pizza with no gloves while playing on his phone and scratching his head so Im not surprised that I found hair in my food and and then when I call to tell them I found hair in my food they were more worried about the length of the hair rather and telling me the person who made it didnt have that type of hair to solve the problem they did offer to deliver more food but it was going to take another 45 minutes which is ridiculous

For an area with few options for good pizza, this place is excellent. Their lunch specials are good and reasonably priced.The employees were nice, too. It could use a good cleaning in the corners of the eat-in areas, but overall is very good for a little hole-in-the-wall pizzaria.Try the chicken parmigiana sandwich special. Its wonderful!

BY THE TIME WE GOT IT IT WAS COLD N SAGGY.WE HAD A TV SHOW TO TAPE N WANTED TO FEED THE CREW. NO ONE ATE THE FOOD. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN TO THIS PLACE WHERE WE FELT SO UNCOMFORTABLE N UNWELCOMED.ANYONE ELSE WOULDVE JUST WALKED OUT N LEFT THE FOOD THERE BUT WE HAD A RESPONSIBILITY TO FEED THE BAND MEMBERS.

I order a pizza for take out. The guy thought I was joking or prank calling. He even was rude and didnt believe my order. Clearly he was fustrated prior to something that might have happened earlier in the day. However, it is not polite or respectful to curse at my friend and I over the phone. I use to order frequently here before when I lived in Port. I never had an issue. The second I visit Port and order take out all heck breaks loose. I understand you own a business. I work as a chef for a restaurant in las vegas on the strip. I understand the stress and struggles of dealing with customers. One thing I dont do is loose my control or let my emotions get the best of me or let my emotions attack the customers. I am respectful and courteous to my customers. I feel customers should have the best satisfaction and experience when they enter and leave the restaurant no matter how unique or special the order/request is at my restaurant. I was not satisfied or did not appreciate my service. Each person operates their restaurant differently so who am I to tell you how to run your business. Just know next time I visit I will not be ordering from you.

2022-02-06Usually I don’t post reviews, after last night I felt the need. I placed my order at 5:34. They told me that it would be 45 minutes to an hour. I was fine with that. Pretty much that’s how most places are. When I looked to see what time it was and my food didn’t come, I placed a call back. It was almost 2 hours before my cold food arrived. I told them I didn’t want cold food, wanted fresh food as we always ordered from them. Instead they sent cold food that had to be heated up. When you are paying that kind of money you expect your food hot. They lost our business. They couldn’t own up to their mistakes. We have spent a lot of money there. I guess they don’t need that now. Thank you Port Jervis Pizza for a cold dinner that was for my family.

2022-03-24The food was goodGreat delivery, thank you kind young man.Delivery person was pleasant and politeThere was no transparency about payment.My ticket said 33.95, for food.Tip 10.00My card came up 35.31, before tip.Called asked about the discrepancy, instead of apologizing for their lack of responsibility exposing hidden fees for using a credit card.They told me there are signs everywhere in their shop.I made a delivery phone order, no mention on the phone call or by the delivery driver.This business was happier loosing a customer than say they were sorry for the lack of transparency.He said he can’t get his staff to remember that on the phone?I believe it was the owner I am not sure, and he continued to say would you like your 1.35 back?Dude, if you read this ask your delivery driver how many times he gets 10.00 tips?30% tip is not average in Port but hey you keep your 1.35 and enjoy your business.

2022-07-06I had the chicken fajita wrap it was beyond delicious! The French fries were hand cut and done just right. Eat in or outdoors very enjoyable.

2022-06-26Paid $56 for 2 medium (1-burnt 1-undercooked) Pizzas cut all crooked and a dozen mushy wings. Been horrible no matter what we order for several months and ridiculously overpriced especially for the quality.Frozen meal from grocery store I ate after was more delicious!

2022-06-01I have given this place serval chances and every single time there’s a problem always mess up my order or the pizza/calzone isn’t cooked all the way thru even asking for it well done. This last time was there last chance I will not order from there ever again. Ordered a calzone with a couple different things in it when I got it it was 95% cheese with a little pile of meat in the middle. Also ordered French fries for my kid and asked for extra ketchup when I got not only did they not give extra they didn’t give me any at all. They should be ashamed to say authentic NYC pizza lol it taste nothing like NYC pizza. So many better options around the area that won’t mess your order up every single time. If you want a slice that taste like a NYC pizza don’t waste you time here go to taste of Sicily or brother Bruno’s there 10xs better.

2022-06-17My Fiancée and I would always get the Large Chicken, Bacon and Ranch pizza from here and the delivery is well within 15-30 minutes. Very delicious pizza!

2022-02-04If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. The UPSIDE is workers are pleasant. The orders are incorrect when received and loaded with oil. Not authentic thats for sure. Food is not made as requested its content is skimpy. Some specialty pizzas are simply cheese and uncooked dough. Falsely advertised, the food has gone down hill and not edible.
