United States Postal Service in other cities:
I had an issue with a package and could not get any helpUntil I spoke with a gentlemen named DeJesus on the phone today. He was so polite and professional and promised to get my package to me today, and he got it done. I’ve had problems with this post office not helping me when a package goes missing. But Mr. DeJesus, was an amazing helpAnd a man of his word. You need more employees like him! A+ Customer Service
Amazing . One of the worst post offices I’ve ever been to in my life . I was treated like a criminal . First and last time in there and I run a large company and had to go in . After speaking to someone who tutted at me after waving me forwards , then sighed when I asked for international forms as we are a medium size company and send a lot abroad . After another tutting when I merely asked if things where running on time , quite politely , I cancelled my order and went to UPS some way away . I’ll be closing out post office account as well . Dreadfully run and staff . Regards Dr H .
No worse than any other. The clerks are very nice. I want to know though why we have to wait in a line to buy stamps? Where are the machines?? They sell gift cards to all type of unrelated business. They have space for that BUT they dont have space for a simple stamp machine????
So damn Slow. They only had one person working at the window (if you call that working). She moved at a 🐌 snails pace and the line backed up 15 deep. Needless to say it took 23 minutes to buy stamps!! Just Stamps!! Worse than the DMV that day. So be prepared ....... You might want to Pack a light lunch for your wait in line.
The best time to visit this station is between 10/11:30am. The stuff is cool sometimes very slow . I am blaming them. They need more workers during rush hours! You can only do one thing at a time. A mistake might cost them their jobs. They are human beings!!! They also got bills to pay!

2022-03-25My package is being returned to the sender because these inefficient people couldn’t deliver. There was no address issues but still tagged as one and did not deliver my item. Now they aren’t even picking up the phone so I can pick it up in person. Why is USPS still in business, I don’t know..should be shut down. Most unhelpful employees ever.

2021-09-22I Went to This USPS office today for the first time in this location and the customer service was great she was quick and explained everything i had to do for this package. The reason why I’m saying this is because I have been to other USPS offices these past few days and they have not been very friendly and told me that they cant do anything. Will definitely be coming back.

2021-07-06Worst customer service experience Ive had in years. Surprised to see so many people complimenting the staff—Ill give this location the benefit of the doubt and assume the woman working there today was a new hire. Incredibly rude, insulted customers in front of other customers. Kept complaining about how customers like these (i.e. me) hold up the line when I asked if she could print out a shipping label, when in reality she was holding up the line by....making weird side comments instead of just doing her job. A simple Put your package on the scale, close the scale door, and please fill out this paper with both sender and recipient address would have cut the interaction time down to a few seconds instead of five miserable minutes. She was so unpleasant that I said You dont need to be so rude! as I filled out the shipping address...hope she heard and took it to heart. As someone whos worked in customer service before, there are a million ways to be miserable in your job without lashing out at other people.

2021-04-05This is a hole in the wall compared to other USPS locations. So i dont know why other reviewers here are exhorting they get more clerks in there. LoL. They usually have two clerks at any given time, and they are very nice people. Its always the same 2 or three clerks. The line can stretch out the door, but you have to take into account that this is a tiny place. Simple rule of thumb is to go first thing in the morning to avoid the lines. Also expect long lines at the beginning of the month if you go in the middle of the day (busiest time of the day there). Most people around here are old school and buy their USPS money orders here for their rent payments. But again, hassles are avoidable if you go like 5 or so minutes before it opens. Easy enough.

2021-07-01This post office is such a gem. Both the fellow customers and the staff are friendly and respectful and just want everything to go well and efficiently for everyone. This is the only post office that actually brightens my day after I stop in.

2020-12-11This is the best post office branch Ive ever been to. Ive never waited more than 20 minutes and I go there a lot. The staff are always super efficient, very friendly, and super knowledgable. Highly recommend this branch.

2017-12-08Pretty par for the course post office wise. They frequently have only one window open. The line can frequently reach the door (approx 15 people.) If the line goes to the door, you can plan on being there at least 45 minutes with one window open. I dont feel the staff is as knowledgeable as they could be. They are certainly not winning any races here. The only real solution is to shop up first thing in the morning and you can usually be in and out in minutes (before 10:30am.)

2018-07-26This is a very good post office. Sometimes there are lines, but 80% of the time, I wait no more than 5 minutes. The people who work here are all very nice. This post office has the advantage of not being a package pickup center (except for those with PO Boxes), so it is not as overburdened as its mothership on 165th St (Audubon).

2019-08-14I mean, I know it’s a post office so prompt service isn’t really a thing, but this place takes it to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL OF SLOW!!!!!! I live up the street and pass by here all the time. There is always a mile long line and very rarely more than 1 person working (& with zero sense of urgency). I mean it’s almost Zen how much they don’t care, no matter how long the line gets, it doesn’t effect their speed.
