What an awesome experience with PCB! They not only sell candles but also allow you to pour your own candle. The number of different fragrance/scent for the candles they have is amazing, and you can mix up to 3-4 fragrances and mix and match. You can then “name your candle”, and they print a label for your candle with the date you made it. They also offer some drinks from local wineries/breweries, and some local sweets or savoury snacks. They newly opened in November and I love the deco of the shop. All staff there are very helpful, and they gave us tips on what to check out locally. We were here on Xmas day and we are so thankful and grateful that they are open, definitely made our day and made our Xmas special. They also took really nice photos and videos for us. Poured Candle Bar should definitely be on your list of things to do when visiting Hudson.I came with a group of girlfriends for a weekend trip. I wasnt sure what to expect for my first time candle making, but I ended up having such a fun experience overall.The ambiance is lovely inside and there are plenty of places for groups to sit together as you make your candles. There is a drink menu with lots of options too! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They bring you a paper with all the different scents to add to your candle. They described the process thoroughly on how best to discover what scents to combine. There are shelves full of the individual scents that you can smell as you choose your favorites.Then comes the candle making process, which you are guided through by one of the staff. They are there to answer your questions and even provide advice on if your scents are a good combination. If youre feeling iffy about the overall product after mixing the scents, you can ask to mix it again.Not only did we feel taken care of for the candle making process, but the staff was super friendly and conversational with us. I was so excited to take my candle home. The whole process probably took an hour or so? (We took our time). The candles were ready for pickup the next day with directions on best practices.When I got back to NYC I was eager to burn my new candle. But I was having a lot of issues. It wouldnt stay lit and the wax was pooling around the wick. I reached out to Poured on Facebook. It seems the customer service extended far beyond our day at the shop. They truly went above and beyond. They offered to remake my candle and promptly mailed me a new version. And it works perfectly! Im over the moon.If youre on the fence about if this activity is for you, Id give it a try. If not for the experience, for the lovely folks that own and run this shop. Id give more than 5 stars if I could!

I am obsessed with the Twenty Years Sleep candle from Poured Candle Bar! The fragrance is amazing slightly earthy with a touch of lavender, not overpowering just relaxing. The packaging is remarkable, the design is impressive and includes sort of a love note to Hudson NY. Cant wait to gift these candles for the holidays.
What a lovely cozy warm feeling these fantastic candles bring me. Im in LOVE with Twenty Years Sleep, but also love that the candles dont have a crazy flame, and burn nice and clean. These will definitely be in some stockings and under the Christmas tree this year.
This place is a special addition to Hudson! My BF and I each made a candle and had a great time. There are so many scents to choose from and the owners are very attentive and help you learn about mixing the scents to come out with something fabulous! It is a lot fun to learn the candle making process and take something home you made yourself. I really love that they are all natural as well. I plan to go back and make candles for friends and family for Christmas presents.
What a special, unique experience! Stumbled in out of curiosity since it’s a gorgeous space and looks much like a typical wine bar. Absolutely loved this interactive experience (creating your own candle/diffuser/perfume scent) in such a casual, elegant setting. Highly recommend whether you’re casually looking for something to do in Hudson if you’re coming from out of town, or for an organized party.
Visited Hudson for the first time today and literally happened upon PCB moments after parking—what serendipity! Dennis was so welcoming and enthusiastic—such a wonderful experience! Created customized diffuser scents with my dear friend, enjoyed a wonderful glass of Chardonnay from a local winery and learned about the hot spots in Hudson! Dennis even called to secure a spot for lunch at The Maker Cafe—perfect! We will definitely visit again—sooner, rather than later!!!

I LOVED the whole experience of PCB. It’s such a nice activity to do in Hudson between eating, antiquing and outdoorsing, plus you get an awesome fragrance or candle to take home and enjoy as a momento. Like Le Labo, with none of the pretense and including a great wine and vegan snack menu! This would be a fun group activity, but I went alone and enjoyed my time so much I’ll be back next time I’m in town. I love my candle and the whole process of making it. They have a great range of scents and are very good at guiding you so that you end up with a final result that you love. Plus you get to choose from very cute containers that you’ll want to hang on to. I recommend this as an any day, any time activity, but also highly recommend it if you need a break from the heat, cold or rain. Why sit in a bar and drink when you could be drinking AND making a candle?
What an awesome find! I walked pasted this shop and wanted to purchase a candle. I walked inside and found out not only can we buy candles but we can make our own scented candle while drinking wine! It was a Tuesday and not much was open in town but my fiancé and I were on a mini vacation trying to find somewhere to go and have a glass of wine. This was so perfect. We had an amazing time, the owners were so welcoming and knowledgeable. Such a great experience in an intimate environment. I even had a friend meet us there for a glass of wine and a vegan desert while we were waiting for our candles to finish. The boxes the candles come in are so thoughtful and creative. This was such a memorable time and such a cool idea for an activity. Highly recommended stopping by or purchasing a gift card for a loved one.
Such a fun experience! We brought a small group to the shop for a girls weekend and had such a fun time making scents and naming our candles. The owners are so, so nice. You can tell this is a passion for them. Really enjoyable!
There arent enough words to say how fun this was! The owners were incredibly nice/helpful. The location is super convenient (right on Warren) and the vibes inside were supremely cozy! We sipped on wine/beer, had tasty snacks and curated scents for our very own candles. Every time I come to Hudson, I will definitely be stopping by here.
What an awesome concept!! I didnt have time to make my own candle, but that is now on my list this summer. I bought The Iron Horse, its awesome. It burns super strong but not so strong its sickening. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Thanks!

We stumbled upon PCB today while wandering around Hudson. What a find! The smell of the candles drew us into the shop. The owners were extremely helpful and we ended up buying a delicious smelling candle and some vegan treats. We will definitely be back to make customized candles while sipping drinks!

I bought a ready made candle “Miracle on Warren Street.” It’s perfect for Christmas!! I also had the chance to make my own candle and tried to use off the beaten path kinds of scents. With their help, we made a pretty nice one! Who knew absinthe would make an awesome candle?
I love this place for so many reasons, but I am only reviewing the candles. The smell is great, but the flame dies out in less than an hour because the pool of liquid wax overwhelmed the wooden wick and killed the flame. Every. Time. I even lit the 2nd candle I got and it also died out shortly after lighting. Ive had lots of candles, they shouldnt drown out the wick!
This place is a gem! Ricky was super knowledgeable and helpful. Will 100% be back next time in Hudson to what my girlfriend called “the best date I’ve ever been on.”
This was such a pleasant experience. If you’re in Hudson this is a must! Everything was A+ the atmosphere, the drinks and the service! Definitely will be coming for a 2nd candle making session.
I will definitely be coming back here. The owners are amazing, such a fun experience—great for an early afternoon or a pre/post dinner activity!! I highly recommend it, takes about 45 minutes to an hour but you can always linger for an extra glass of wine! All the snacks are vegan and gluten free!

2022-03-19Absolutely fabulous. We were here off-season on a Monday and had the place to ourselves. From the moment you walk in, you know youre in for a treat. They walked us through the entire process. We didnt feel rushed, and we got to take our time. I loved this place. Combining candlemaking and a bar is perfect. Great for just about any occasion. If youre in Hudson, hit this place up and leave with your own homemade souvenir.

2021-10-02LOVED our experience here, even though we had to rush to make sure we caught our train (The candles take a couple hours to cure, but they ship them if you can’t stay that long!). Such a cool and special idea! The owners were super friendly and walked us through the whole process. Would highly recommend for anyone while they’re in Hudson. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered a candle as a gift for someone. Can’t wait to return!

2022-06-16We had a great experience at Poured! Everyone was so patient and helpful when we were trying to figure out what scents we wanted in our candles. Unfortunately, when we got home we realized one of the candles was not burning correctly and the wick would not stay lit. I gave Poured a call, and Ricky offered to remake our candle with the same scents, but in a ratio that he thought would work better, and they shipped it to Manhattan free of charge. The new candle smells wonderful and is exactly what my boyfriend wanted.Would definitely recommend Poured to anyone looking for a fun and different candle making experience! Thank you Ricky & team!!

My husband (then-fiance) and I came here one weekend to make candles (a really fun date on its own), and ended up hiring them to create our wedding favors, custom candles. Dennis was wonderful to work with throughout the whole process, and our guests raved about how good the candles smelled. Definitely stop by if youre ever in Hudson!

2021-06-14Poured Candle Bar is the best place to visit if you feel like getting creative and having fun! The owners are wonderful hosts and patiently walked us through the candle making process. It’s an exciting olfactory experience because you get to smell everything before you commit to your custom signature scent. I am so happy with my candle and my fiancé couldn’t stop talking about how much fun it was to mix and match different scents to create his one-of-a-kind candle. The local beer, wine, mocktails, and snacks are also wonderful. We can’t wait to visit again soon and bring all our friends!

2022-07-29I was visiting Hudson and went looking for this place I’d seen on Spectrum news about a year ago. Luckily I found it and had a great experience mixing my own perfume.. it’s a perfect place to come with a party to mix perfume or make own candle. The owner was great helping me. I would recommend it greatly!
