I received excellent service from PowerFlo. I called on Monday and Tuesday Victor arrived and worked diligently, efficiently and professionally. I am so happy with the service and would recommend this company again and again.
Joe, Sean and Doc came out to our house and moved a large blockage from our sewer line to the main city sewer line. This after multiple other companies said the only solution was to dig up my driveway and replace the sewer line. I am thankful they had the knowledge and expertise to do the job right and for less money than their direct competitors.
Luke was a complete professional. He installed my ejector pump and answered all my questions. Very satisfied with the service provided by Luke and Powerflo. Great job.

Johnathan updated the old shut off valves under the kitchen sink it was rusted and leaking and put in a new faucet all in about 35 min. He was quick, efficient & professional.
I had the leaks under the kitchen sink . There was still a leak from the previously installed pipe after he fixed it. Jonathan was professional ,knowledgeable and patient. He detected the problem and fixed it.

Joel from powerflo sewer service came to my house and worked on my toilet to unclog a deodorant stick from my toilet. Worked very, very hard to get this out. Clogged main sewer line in my restaurant. PowerFlo was there for me within 90 minutes. Jimmy the technician came in and could not have been better. Extremely professional even at midnight. Experience like this stinks but PowerFlo got us through.
They sent Shawn, who was friendly, courteous, and professional. Even though we were able to resolve issue before he arrived, he took the time to run all his checks and explained what he was doing, making sure there were no lingering problems. He did not try to push unneeded additional services or repairs, just addressed immediate issue and gave me a heads up on what might need to be done if issue came back. Oh, plus, my dog liked him and she doesnt like anybody. 10/10 overall.

My toilet bowl overflowed and I had no idea why. Apparently it was clogged and the problem was fixed in a timely manner within hours. The plumber Shawn was very nice and professional and explained the problem to me as he fixed it. I would use this place again and recommend it.
I had a handyman come before and try and fix this toilet leak and he botched the job cracking the toilet partially. We got Joel from Powerflo and he did a excellent job setting the toilet with new screws and cement to seal. He even cleaned my floor and toilet bowl. A very professional young guy.

I believe the guy’s name is Joe. He performed an inspection on my house on drain flies and clogs that we had. He was great and very detailed on what needed to get done.
Powerflo representatives are always prompt, polite and professional. They clean up before they leave and always make sure to inform me of what they found or, even better, didnt find when checking my main sewer line for tree roots and/or clogs. They send a reminder postcard every six months and since Ive had them servicing the line I have not had a single problem.

After using other services in the past with nothing but headaches and trying to upsell things, PowerFlo was great.A technician came an fixed our clogged main sewer line and was very nice. I had my main line cleaned. The plumber joe lambardo did a great job!He showed me before and after pictures of the main line. I’m very impressed how clean the main trap was. I’m request joe every time.

They installed a new sump pump in my basement and installed new water excavation line. They took out old plastic sump pit and repositioned my new pump in a different pit. They were very thorough and cleaned up after the job was complete. Naturally, before they left they tested all new connections and new pump and everything was in good working order. Would not hesitate to call them again or refer their services to someone else.
I have been a Power Flo customer for years having them do preventative maintenance. This year they serviced my sewer and unclogged two inside drains. As always their employees are real professionals. I recommend them and will continue to use their service.

I have used these guys a couple of times over the years when my sewer was backed up. They are always very quick, super nice & do an awesome job including clean up & deodorize!!!!
I tried to push back fixing my toilet for several weeks which resulted in me breaking the valve to shut off the water to my toilet. I needed someone who could come in ASAP to fix it. PowerFlo had someone come in a few hours after making a phone call. And John was able to schedule me in to set for a new toilet to come the following week. He was very professional and very informative. He provided me with all different solutions for the issue. The valve fix was quick and has been working well. Today, Luke, he installed the new toilet for me and took the old one away. He was very helpful and informative as well. He arrived before the scheduled time and finished well before I thought he would. He made sure to clean up everything so the only thing I have to worry about is doing a quick swifter mop which is a great thing! The price for their services are within reason and I will be sure to reach out to them for any further issues that may arise.
Is Sean from powerflow just left my home on February 5th and he was very professional! Had an emergency today and called PowerFlo. They were quick and prompt for a consult! Service tech called back right away. She was pleasant and asked many questions regarding my issues. Arrived at my home in 1/2 hour to respond. Reviewed the job and details of the job. Returned quickly with proper tools and vehicle to complete the job, and nevertheless in freezing cold weather. I have had the pleasure of having Powerflo several times. Twice this week for 2 different unrelated problems. Shawn came again today with Roman and removed and replaced the seal on my toilet in a little over an hour. Both were very pleasant, professional and my dog fell in love with both of them. I am the Facilities Director at Moore Catholic High School on Staten Island,N.Y. and have been using Power Flo Sewer Services for the last few years. I would highly recommend Powerflo. I recently had a major repair to replace part of the cast iron stack pipe in the baserment. Part of the floor had to be dug up and pipe replaced. Joe and Victor worked all day and when the were done actually did a great job of cleaning up and leaving the basement as good as new. Very satisfied long time time customer. The techs who show up are very thorough and get to the root cause of the problem. Best recommendation is to get on a yearly schedule with them and have your snake your drains and traps. It will save you a lot of hassle when things eventually clog - and they will.
I would like to start with the positive review. I was recommended to Mike from a long time friend and client of his. This was my 3rd visit from them. Mike is absolutely fabulous. Figured out my issue, handled it without a problem and it was late at night. This visit, was the same. The guys were great. Came in, checked everything and made sure I was good for the rain. Also, Maria was great in handling the bill. Paid with a check, but since I had 2 accts w overdraft, the money wouldve been pulled over to cover anything coming out. Their machine said it wasnt working, but it was available through another acct. I asked to just give me an hour or so to move the money and she had no problem with that. While this conversation went on, my wife arrived and the tech was able to collect payment from her via a card. While this isnt an issue, I had just had a conversation about this and we had a resolution. When I called back to discuss this, Keisha answered the phone. I have never been so insulted and spoken to in a way that she handled herself. I was in the car with another co-worker headed back to transfer the funds as stated, and she had no regard for her tone, attitude, and demeanor on the phone. Regardless of any issue or situation, as customer service would have it, she shouldve represented PowerFlo and Mike as professional as possible. I was cutoff while speaking, explained my situation and that Maria and I spoke but she didnt care. Keisha acted completely inappropriate as a representative of your company and honestly reflected poorly on PowerFlo. Every interaction I had with your company was great, even today until I spoke with Keisha. If I were to give the Service Techs only a rating, it would be 5 stars. Mike the owner would get 5 stars. Maria, 5 stars. Always remember that there are many faces to your company. They need to act as you and represent you to the highest degree. I am sorry that I even had to write this, but I am embarrassed, insulted, and felt that as a customer treated like a lesser individual.
I called PowerFlo Sewer service to unclog our backed up sewer line. They made an otherwise unpleasant situation very pleasant. From the courteous woman who took our call and scheduled our service to the very knowledgeable serviceman who saved the day. This was our second time using PoweRFlo. We live in an old house, in a neighborhood with lots of trees. Those darn roots. I recommend using PowerFlo.

Luke from powerflo took care of a leaky 60 year old cast iron drain pipe in my basement . diagnosed the water leaking from the joint as i had the water running. he then sawed off the old pipe which he stated was cracked and rotted and was about to break in half. luke put on a new 5 foot pipe in place of the old one in 5 minutes . luke was very professional and friendly like i new him for years . and he was very happy doing his job!!!. in and out in 15 minutes.

I had a clogged kitchen drain, but the trap was extremely difficult to get to and through, luckily the right technician was on the job and Luke was able to figure out what to do and he did it and solved my problem. PowerFlow gets my highest recommendation.

I have had problems with my kitchen sink pipes in my house since I moved there 7 years ago. My pipes were sagging and falling apart. I needed all new pipes under my sink. I called Powerflo because my parish recommended them , the receptionist was friendly, upbeat and we were even laughing by the end of the call. John the plumber from Powerflo came early the same day as I called. He was honest and the price was reasonable. He even beat a quote from another company that failed to show up. The job was professional and they used very heavy duty brass piping. I couldnt be more pleased. They even gave me a coupon for a future service. They are also 24/7 which is good to know. A++

If i could give 10 stars i would. PowerFlo is indeed the best Plumbing service on the island. Joe and company went above (rather below) and beyond to repair a drain pipe underneath our house. The access and area in our crawlspace is extremely narrow and I feared my wooden floors would have to be ripped up to gain access to the pipe. Upon further inspection Joe said he would try to go underneath and replace 20 feet of pipe. AND HE DID! God bless Joe, his team and company. No ripped up floors! And a working drain line. I have a Homeserve service plan that I called regarding a leak and powerflo is the designated company that responded. I had the leak in my bathroom vanity that I could not determine the cause. The office staff I spoke to were very kind. I can only remember one name Keisha. I explained to them that they might have to remove my vanity to find the source of the leak and they sent two people. The two gentlemen were very nice. One of them had to practically fold up his body to get his hand inside the vanity and he was able to find the source of the leak and correct it. Their excellent work saved me a lot of money and a lot of time. I’m glad I have that homeserve plan and I’m glad homeserve uses Powerflo.

The best experience in what could have been a very bad situation. I called this company on an early Saturday morning they came within 30 minutes. They were courteous professional and clean. I had gotten water in my tenants apartment before the technician arrived. One hour later they pulled an old phone battery out of my trap and thoroughly cleaned it out. No sales pitch just good honest guys. I would absolutely recommend this company.

After being ripped off by a competitor, powerflo came to my home late on a Sunday solved the problem of tree roots growing into my sewer main and left the work area cleaner than it was when he arrived. We called Power Flo because we had water seeping in under our hardwood floors. There was no visible sign of water anywhere on top of the floor, so it was a challenge to find the source of the leak. Joe and Tom were dispatched to the job, and did their due diligence to narrow down the source of the leak before they started making holes in our newly painted home. They were extremely courteous and professional providing updates every step of the way. We will certainly use them again in the future if we need to.
I have a recurring issue with tree roots in my sewer line. I have dealt with Roto-Rooter and they cost $500 a visit to clear out the line. I called up Powerflo at 7 in the morning and asked if they had any availability. They told me they would come between 10 and 11 in the morning which I thought was fantastic, but they actually arrived at 8:30 in the morning which is even more amazing. They were able to handle the issue very quickly. The guys that came were very nice and extremely professional. The best part is they were so much less than Roto-Rooter. I highly recommend this company. They truly went above and beyond.
Powerflo has never let me down. I called them at 8:30 PM and they had a plumber to my house that night. He stayed with me until 3 am to resolve my issue and made sure my family had no break in plumbing service.

Absolutely one of the best services for sewers and plumbing on the Island. My mom had an emergency sewer backup in the basement that happened at 11:30PM in mid Jan. Called Powerflo and they had Bobby out to the house within 30 mins. This guy is fantastic, able to figure out the issue and stayed until 1:30AM, thats dedication! It ended up being the city sewer that backed up due to some junk or garbage that created the clog and needed to call 311. It took the city two freaking times to get it cleared but had it not been Bobbys diagnoses, the basement would have been toast with raw sewage flooding in. Bobby even recommended some flood stoppers to prevent this from happening next time. The guy is awesome. The funny thing is it seems like all the neighbors are calling Powerflo lately seeing the truck zooming thru.
The office staff was fantastic and kept me calm, while listening to me rant & dispatching Robert, the serviceman. Robert was so nice & explained everything to me, in detail...which prevented me from having a total & complete meltdown. Scammed my tenant and mother; there was a small, simple clog within the toilet. They said they couldnt snake it out and the toilet needed to be replaced. They couldnt snake a small clog WITHIN the toilet? They charged $500 (unitemized) bill for a new toilet and installation. Of course they took the old defective toilet, which had a simple clog and wasnt broken. Very shady, and if they truly couldnt get a simple clog (it was the top brush part of a toilet brush) then how competent are they as plumbers? Never again.

2022-05-27They did a fantastic job! We won’t know how well it works until it’s rained a few times, but the work looks very neat and well done. Yes, they tested it before they left, but to me an onslaught of rain is the real test. Anyway, they were very professional, friendly (even to my very curious dog!), and cleaned up better than any other workers who’ve done work on the house. I would definitely recommend PowerFlo and hire them again.

2022-06-24I used this company to replace a broken water line that supplied some of my garden hoses. Tom came to give an estimate of the work to be done. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. I scheduled an appointment for Tom to come back to do the repairs. Tom arrived on time and completed the repairs within the expected time frame. I would definitely use them again. Great communication, efficient, and professional.

2022-06-15Our tech was Joe and he came earlier due to a cancellation, which we were very grateful for. We had a leak and worried it was coming from the drain connected to our washer but luckily it was not. Joe informed us that the leak was not due to any plumbing/draining but instead from our actual washer (left from previous owner). He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Most often, when anyone has “home issues” dealing with technicians can be intimidating. Not with this company. You are made to feel at ease. Thank you Joe for your service!!

2022-08-05Great job as always - Jimmy was excellent. Our basement was flooding late at night, and he came in and saved the day. Jimmy spent the time to properly diagnose the problem and went above and beyond to make sure it was resolved. Ive had nothing but positive experiences with PowerFlo, and that continued last night with Jimmys professionalism and outstanding service.

2022-07-29Tom and his team fixed a broken pipe in our apartment. They did there best to be creative and try to salvage as much of our tile as possible. They explained what they needed to do at each step and worked into the evening to complete the job. Cleaned up after themselves and protected as much of our apartment as possible to prevent to minimize the mess. Very happy with their services

2022-05-04Professional Service, honest and Knowledgeable company.Problem it was terrible smell on the basement, I called 2 company today and talked with them, but they dont want to come, I called the PowerFlo today 9:30pm and wasnt sure they will pick up the phone, I thought maybe voicemail, but somebody pick up the phone and about 1/2 hour they are appeared. I talked with 2 guys, one name is John, they were both professional, knowledgeable and friendly and they told me sewer trap cover is the problem and has to be replace even they didnt charge anything. This smell is bothering me more than one month and they diagnose the problem in a second. If you need any sewer or plumping job they are the best on Island. Thank you guys again.
