Precision Door was amazing to work with! I worked with Zikret (aka. Z) who was a pleasure to do business with. I had an old opener that just didnt open reliably anymore. I was given a detailed assessment of the current situation to repair it, but I opted to just go with a replacement. Every detail was described to me for many different options, Repair, Budget Replacement, Moderate Replacement, Top of the line replacement. Personally, I went with the top of the line option, and let me tell you. Zs workmanship was incredible, down to relief coils in the wiring, which really is a sign of someone who knows exactly what theyre doing. I will absolutely call them if I ever need assistance again, and Ill be suggesting Precision Door to friends and family.

Had a spring snap on garage door and was locked out of garage. Set up and emergency appointment same day as I called. Ron was on time and expained everything to me. This was an older unit and he checked everything and cable also needed replacement. I was shown cable and could see it was definetly worse for wear. Saved another problem. Would definitely recommend Precision Door service.
Called with a broken spring mid-morning and was given a 1 to 3 PM time slot. The technician text me that he was going to be 45 minutes early showed up completed the job in less than an hour and the garage door is working like new. This is what customer service is all about

Had garage door opener installed years ago before reviews we’re the thing. Just saw one of there trucks it reminded me that there hasn’t been one problem since and the installer was super knowledgeable.
Couldnt ask for better service! Before the technicians showed up we got a text with a picture and a short bio about him so we would know who was coming. The technicians were on time (Z and Josh) and were courteous, professional, and fast. This job was complicated and they took all that in stride and did a great job in the time frame they quoted.They didnt try to sell me anything and no surprises. They told me in the beginning what I owed (which didnt change from our quote) and at the end, the price was the same. I paid with a credit card right there and the receipt and invoice was emailed.Z explained to me where they struggled, why they struggled, and the solution. Very professional.

Great service. Our garage door broke on Christmas Day and I was able to live chat with someone to schedule an appointment. Felix called to let me know he was in his way and arrived right at the beginning of the 2 hour window that we were given. My dad recommended Precision to me and my husband and I will definitely recommend it to others!

So happy with the fast installation. Everything was explained to me before, during and after installation. Price was upfront with different service options. No pressure. I needed new springs and rollers and I thought I just needed a new garage door opener. I was happy he was able to get everything done and now my garage door closes so much quieter than it did before.
Incredible communication. Narrow 2-hour service time window. Great service and in-person communication with Zikret who replaced our torsion springs. While there were up sell options, there was no pressure and we went with the basic repair option.
They lived up to the positive reviews others wrote. Called around, other providers didnt get back to me or didnt sound very professional, one tried to sell me on installation of new seals, which werent the problem. Precisions front office is friendly, professional, and up front about costs.The $60 inspection fee had me worried but Chris got right to work so it wasnt an issue. As he tested the door manually the spring broke, it was 20 years old so I wasnt surprised. Chris had a replacement in the truck and in less than 20 minutes the door was level, balanced, and had a new spring. Im grateful I didnt try to level and balance it myself and have to deal with a broken spring. Definitely recommend them for real garage door problems.

Listen, I never write reviews, I mean it, but for the service I received today I felt this was necessary! Zikret was my Technician, he was on-time, and very professional. He made sure to provide me with all my options and I felt no pressure at anytime. From start to finish -a safety check, quote before starting any work, and to complete the job (replace both springs, bearings, and a door opener) took 2.5 hours. I then received a very professional text message from him explaining who he is and what he does. He assessed the job that was to be done told me exactly what he was going to do and then proceed to take care of our garage door needs in a very quick and professional manner. My landlord hired him to come and check out my door. First of all, he comes in with an attitude. I tell him the door won’t open and close and that my landlord had tightened springs and it still wouldn’t work. He said, “ well what is wrong with it?” I was just like pretty sure that’s why you are here. He spent less than 5 mins looking at it. Basically threw his hands in air and was like this door is old. I am just going to recommend a replacement. No one is going to fix this it’s just too old. My landlord calls Roly Poly and they show up and look at it and immediately figure out someone put springs on backwards. New springs ordered and a new bar for them to go on. Bam! Just like that. 4 days later as I write this they are here installing. I would recommend if you are considering using Precision to get a second opinion.
We woke up the day after Thanksgiving to have snapped cords and sprung springs on our garage door. What to do on a holiday weekend? The torsion springs snapped on my garage door. I called Precision Door because of a recommendation from a friend. They got me an appointment in a couple of days. Ron, the owner, absolutely does business the right way. When we called with a problem with our garage door, the company offered to come the same night as an emergency service or the next day (on a Saturday) as a regular service. Ron was able to come hours ahead of scheduled time (called us and sent a text announcing his arrival, it included his short bio and a photo). Once he arrived, I actually remembered another great experience that I had with him 10 years ago when the company installed our garage door opener. He identified the issue and fixed it on the spot and even performed maintenance on our door. He went above and beyond. The owner came for my service call this time, he was friendly, knowledgeable and made every effort to save me money with a broken wall control (I broke it removing it). He could have easily told me to replace the whole system, but gave me good advice, and ran new wire to where the switch was and told me to order a new one and try it. He was very thorough and totally customer oriented. They also installed my existing garage door itself when I backed into my door with the hatch open accidentally and destroyed it. They are my go to for all garage door work, and would go nowhere else, truly a great business.

Ron Kull was coming to see our old, terribly heavy garage door. One spring out of 4 was broke and cant be opened. It couldnt be fixed even though he tried hard and opened it. But he explained details nicely. I think the cost for door service is also reasonable.
I called to get an appointment for a repair, and the receptionist said she’d relay the problem on the repair folks. Dave called the same day and said he’d stop by the next day. He came by, fixed everything, and did it a week and a half before the appointment would have happened. So, with repairs and replacing our door and replacing our opener, we have now had 3 great experiences with Precision.We recommend them to everyone!

Ron the technician, was on time (rare in my experiences with contractors) he called and texted prior to arrival. He had the parts and replaced the broken torsion spring and spring support bracket/bearing. I requested the end plate bearings be replaced which he did. In an hour or so everything was together and working as it should. The price to have a professional do his thing was fair. I had looked into doing the job myself and shipping at Christmas was a hassle. After seeing what he had to do I’m sure it would’ve been hours of fiddling in twenty degrees! The entire process was easy and accomplished smoothly and rapidly. They kept me informed of there arrival time and even texted me a picture of the technician (great idea!)He made a thorough inspection and presented the repair options with no pushing for the higher priced one at all.The work was complete quickly and he even cleaned-up and lubricated the springs.Very pleased and will consider them when the time comes (next summer) to replace the entire garage door.

We were so impressed with our experience at Precision Door Service of Rochester, and so pleased with the work they did replacing our garage doors. They have truly mastered the art of communication, beginning with live chat service on their website, even on Saturday. They were prompt and efficient, completing our project on a snowy Monday, within 48 hours of our initial contact, and the price was what they said it would be. We especially appreciated knowing they were heading our way, with an accurate ETA, and receiving a picture of the technician en route, so that we could recognize him on arrival. Eric was phenomenal! We arrived home on a Sunday to find that something was very wrong with our garage door, after some DIY ideas made our problem even worse, we gave up. We called Precision and they had Eric over within a couple hours, he spent a few minutes looking over our situation and offed a repair vs buy new quote. We opted for the repair which was completed quickly, and now our door works even better than before! Eric was friendly, timely, professional, and even gave us some maintenance advice. The price was also fair, would highly recommend if you ever find yourself in a similar pinch!

The owner of Precision Garage Doorcame to our house to service the garage doorthat would not open. He was rude to my husband and myself, scolded us for having an enclosed ceiling and refused to attempt to fix the garage door due to the danger he claimed it would involve. He yelled at my husband who attempted to help him by getting up into the attic area when he did not understand what “pin” to pull. The owner did fix a cable that was broken so that we could manually open and close the door and did not charge us which is the only reason I gave him a 2 star.We called Felluca Garage Door the next day and a friendly and kind young man fixed it in 20 minutes. I would never recommend Precision Garage Door to a friend.
Excellent customer service and work ethic! I had my garage door spring replaced then a few weeks later needed a follow up visit for a noise I was hearing. The company owner came right out the next day and added a lubricant which eliminated the noise I was hearing at no charge. I would highly recommend this company for any garage door needs!

Our garage door cable broke and the door was also falling apart. Ron came out very quickly to give us a quote. I thought it was very reasonable! He was on time and you could tell he was super knowledgeable. He came out on a Wednesday and booked to have his crew install it Monday morning. Chris and his partner (I cant remember his name) just left after installing our door in less then 2 hours! The price was exactly what Ron quoted me. I cannot describe how refreshing it is to deal with a company, where you have no technical knowledge of their product (in this case a garage door spring replacement) and have complete trust that you are getting sound and practical service at a reasonable price point. That was my experience with Precision Door this morning. I was blessed to have the owner as our technician. I look for three things in these situations: Is the person honest, kind spirited, and knowledgeable. Ron gets 10+ out of 10 on all three. My door is working perfectly now, the cost was reasonable, and I had a great experience (with very quick turnaround). High recommendation.
Excellent work. Ron did the initial evaluation and walked us through the process, costs, etc, was very open about everything and answered all our questions thoroughly. On the day of the appointment to replace the door Felix called an hour before and showed up right on time. Took 3 hours from start to finish and job was beautifully done, weather stripping looked pristine, they used our existing motor (which was in good working order) and the garage door looks great! Strong work and a fair price. Employees were neat, efficient, and polite. Would definitely recommend.
We were having issues with a track on one side of our door.I called and was scheduled for the following day. I received a call from Mark the day of service saying he would be to my house in 30 minutes.Mark was right on time and was extremely helpful and fixed the track very quickly.I would highly recommend them.
We called this morning and within 90 minutes we had a repairman at our house and had the problem corrected by 2 hours after the initial call. Marty, the service person was very courteous and thorough and answered all our questions, gave us an estimate and an explanation of what needed to begin before beginning the repair. Needless to say we were very satisfied with the service we received from Precision Door and will definitely use them when needed in the future.
Eric was very professional, he evaluated my problem then shared his suggestions to the fixing of our door. Within an hour and half the repairs were completed and shared some basic upkeep plans I as a home owner should do and the time frame to do them. If I need any-other repairs in the future Ill defiantly be contacting Precision Door.

What a pleasant surprise. Sunday afternoon 5 days before we have to move out of town. Garage door not working. Discovered Precision Door was open. Ron came out that evening. Of course, when he got here the door worked fine. Probably fickle sensors. No charge for a Sunday evening call! You have got to be kidding! I would recommend them to anyone.
I contacted Precision Door because my old garage door opener wasn’t closing completely and I needed it to be adjusted. Well, it was an old Genie original to the house and the job just wasn’t cutting it. So since Chris was already here, I decided to have him install a new belt driven opener. Love it! So quiet and smooth. Bonus I also got an outside touch pad. Love that too! So happy with my decision both for the opener and my choice of Precision Door. Chris was the best technician. We called when our Door no longer was going all the way up. It would go up 3 inches and then just drop. A Few months prior I changed out my broken springs on my own. Come to find out I had purchased the wrong springs from Amazon. Ron showed up on time and with in 1 hour he had replaced the springs with the correct springs. My garage door has never worked as well as it does now. Great Service! Will call them again!

I called Precision door and Ron gave me a great price for three new doors, easily beating the price I received from two other companies. There is nothing worse than major home repair that comes out of the blue. Replacing my garage door was not how I wanted to start the day last Thursday but its what had to be done. From the minute Ron returned my phone call the service was top notch. The fact that the owner himself (Ron) personally came to my house to do the estimate and that he called and walked me through my options spoke volumes about the level of care each customer is guaranteed to receive. The fact that my repair was scheduled for a Sunday without additional fees, overtime or other cost raising reasons was unexpected but highly appreciated. The installer Dave Mackay arrived on time and finished early. He was professional, courteous and jovial the entire time he worked in the 90 degree weather. He finished early including the entire install and clean up. Not one random piece of the old door was left for me to dispose of.Overall, I hope my garage door never breaks again, but if it does I wont hesitate to call Precision for one second!

What terrific service! I called on a Friday afternoon and they came out that evening to ensure that I was able to have a secure garage. Today I called for a problem at my mothers house. They were easy to reach and were able to schedule me for the same day. The tech called ahead, showed up on time, and quickly fixed the problem and explained to me what he did.
Ya, I did a stupid and backed into my old door. Maybe I could have saved it but it had weather stripping issues and others so I bought a new door.I used their chat and and explained that I got my car out but I could not close the door.I did my on-line research before the chat session. I looked up the doors they sold and the quality and options and did my comparison. Dont take my word for it. Do your research.They came within a few hours on Tuesday and got my old door closed but not functional. All I wanted and I ordered my new door. The fee for that service was waived and my order was placed. I got a call the day before and they said they where ready to install the new door. The service guy came 1st thing Friday morning and installed and adjusted the door properly.These people have been very professional and a reasonable rates. I am very happy with the whole experience, from the office to the workmanship.I have had small repairs done by an other company that also did a great job but replacing the door was not their specialty.I recommend this company and would use them again.

I am sorry to have wasted my time with Precision. I made an appointment and Ron came over. He stood by the door and said he was here before to give an estimate and my wife threw him out. I tried to explain to him that my wife is not such a person. Generally, she wouldn’t deal with contractors who come to fix things, and even if she does, she WOULD NEVER throw anyone out. In any case, he stood there and said he doesn’t want to work on the door. And it turns out that he is the owner of the company!!!His recollection is incorrect. His attitude is wrong. He wasn’t able to give any detail of when and why this alleged incident took place.When someone is so sure of his own reality, a reality that he has made up in his own mind and he has no proof or evidence to back it up with, and he is responsible for a company, one can only feel sorry for him.

Fantastic contractor experience! Our home garage door had an old age issue that was suddenly preventing it from opening. Called Precision customer service late in the afternoon and they scheduled Ron to come out 8:00 the next morning. I had already used the door design tool on their website so I knew what the new door we wanted would look like. Ron quoted me a price on that model which was inline with the research I had done. Bottom line, the door was installed by 2:00 that afternoon and exceeded our expectations both in how it looked and in the timeliness and quality of the work! I wont hesitate to use Precision in the future and will recommend them to family and friends.
Good very conversational tech who obviously knew what he was doing and didnt mind my watching him do it. New opener wasnt cheap but the install was a lot more surgery than I anticipated and my old flakey, noisy and annoyingly unreliable opener is now smooth, quiet and better installed than the Home Depot model the previous owner had installed.

DONT ORDER GARAGE DOORS FROM Precision DOORS! I have waited over 3 months for a garage door. Now 2 weeks from installation date they called and said it was delayed. I asked for a time frame and they can not give me one. I asked the sales person for his direct number so I could have time to decide and he said call the call center. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. HE COULD HAVE JUST GIVEN ME HIS DIRECT NUMBER, MY TIME IS IMPORTANT JUST AS HIS TIME IS IMPORTANT.

Very pleasent experience, after a very crazy morning. My garage door wouldnt open all thr way, chain got totally mangled. Ron was my technician. They estimated between 10am-12pm. Ron showed up closer to 10, and ready to work. I work overnights, and had stayed over, so I was thoroughly exhausted. He not only showed up quick, but was done by 1pm. He showed me a few extra things about my door opener, and also replaced a rail that was previously bent. Will definately use this service again! Thank you for saving my day Ron!
Advertise as same day service - not true unless you want to pay extra for “emergency” appointment! Tells you that the cost to repair your garage door is 50$ and parts total!! Repair person comes at 8pm next day and tells you he doesn’t feel comfortable fixing it - it may break again - You need a new door for 650$ - Charges you 54$ and leaves - Call the Company the next day and a person who says he is the owner needs to take a course on how to deal with customer complaints - If you look at their website - all 5 stars 🤔
Service above and beyond what one would expect. Ron stopped over on a weekend to troubleshoot/repair and by Tuesday we had a new garage door opener installed. Even spent the time to set up all devices and tutor. Fairly priced and service for a lifetime!

From the initial contact to the company, they have been diligent in responding to inquiries about a new door. I know its a sale, however Ron treated me like a person, not a number. I was skeptical of having someone come in to do a tune-up of our garage door. What would they want to sell me? What was broken all of a sudden? But this was not the case. Dave came in, was SUPER friendly, and did not try upsell at all. Because of his honesty and their reasonable pricing, we opted to have a new keypad installed. Precision is a great company and they will be my first call if I ever need anything again!
Mark certainly exceeded my expectations. We had a broken cable on our garage door (which had not been installed correctly). Mark replaced the cables and removed the bolts that had been used incorrectly and replaced them with proper bolts. He also lubricated the pulleys and rollers. When finished, the door worked much better than it ever has (in use approx. 10 years). Mark conducted himself in a professional manner. The price was as quoted and we are very well pleased.

They came out to repair my garage door that wouldnt close. I was charged over $250, two months later Im having the same problem and they are charging me again to come out when they didnt fix the problem the first time. DO NOT USE THEM. They do not stand behind their work.
Absolutely perfect!!!I wish I could be more detailed in my review to express how happy I was with the entire experience.Price-wise (which everyone considers first it seems) these guys were dead on! I researched and had a number in my head of where they should come in, and while they were above my number - I had to factor in that Drew (who was a fantastic installer) not only suggested items to replace while doing the springs (items that made sense, not just upselling junk I dont need) which were priced well ... he was here within 24 hours of when I called. In fact - I called at 3pm and they had a slot at 1pm the next day to get to my house.My door was stuck open, so anyone that could come out within 24 hours was a huge bonus, and one that Id pay extra for considering how much could have gotten stolen/ruined/cat-peed on in my garage from the door being open multiple nights in a row.All in all I cant recommend these guys enough. 2022-05-05Phots show the after(black) and before(blue) photos. Precision did a great job in efficiently removing the old and installing the new door at the time promised. Technician made sure all was in order and that I was able to use all of the features of the new door.

2021-09-01These guys were great. I got on the schedule quickly and they were able to come two days earlier than expected due to a cancellation. They called beforehand to check and were right on time. After inspecting my door, they gave me four different estimates that included various levels of service and replacement parts. There were options ranging over different price points. I felt good selecting from among the different packages and there was no salesmanship involved. Best of all, the door opens safely again and should give many more years of service. Ill definitely call these guys again if I have any trouble.

We were very happy with the service technician Sean Seelig he did a great job replacing the garage door opener and everything else that needed replacing. We used precision in another state where we own a home and we are glad we were able to have Precision service our garage door opener needs here in NY as well. 2022-01-20Excellent service. Honest assessment of situation and options. I had anticipated needing to replace my garage door. It turns out a repair will suffice, at 1/10 of the cost. I will turn to Precision when the time does come for replacement. The tech (Zikret) who handled our job was outstanding.

2022-02-18We had a spring break on our door, placed a call at 7:30 am and someone picked up right away. Zikret (Z) arrived promptly at 1:30 as promised and upon arrival he diagnosed the problem (it wasnt just the spring) and had an estimate written up. We had him look at our other door as it has also been operating inconsistently and asked him to fix that too. He was pleasant, worked hard and provided excellent recommendations. The prices were competitive and we would have no problem calling the company again- we will definitely ask for Z if we ever have issues again.

Satko and his crew arrived promptly and set right to work. In a little over 3 hours both of my garage doors were replaced and I cannot believe how beautiful they look. He devised four estimates for me to review - my options were a basic, band-aid estimate, on up to the long term estimate we decided on.Lots of DIYs were done in our home we purchased a few years back; slowly catching up to make living there up to code. 2022-04-01Our garage door spring snapped today and we were really in a rut. My vehicle was inside with my wheelchair in the back and I couldn’t get it out. I looked up garage door repair and Precision came up highly rated and open 24/7 so I decided to call. It was almost 5pm and I was given the option of an emergency time tonight for $135 or a regular hours visit two days from now for $60. Since I couldnt wait for my car or my wheelchair, the $65 difference seemed quite reasonable. The phone call ended at 4:57 and I was given a time of between 5pm and 7pm. The technician called at 5:03 and was at our home by 5:25. Before he arrived I received a text with his photo and profile so I knew who to expect. Sadmir was professional and kind and explained everything clearly. He cleaned up everything and was done in no time. Our garage door is quieter and opens more smoothly than it has since we moved in. The ultimate cost was only for parts beyond the visit fee. My only point of contention is that when I received a text to rate the technician it was a scale of 0-10 where 0=𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘭𝘺 𝘶𝘯𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘭𝘺 and 10=𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘭𝘺. To me, 10 should be 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘭𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘭𝘺 since that would be the other extreme and 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘭𝘺 is not as forceful a statement. Plus, the rating given for him in the initial introduction was on a 5 point scale.

2022-02-25TL;DR: Great experience all around with this company. Recommend without hesitation.Their estimator came on time and was well prepared with a ton of information to replace our door, after it had been damaged by a package delivery driver. He spotted that our opener track was damaged and helped us get the at-fault company to replace that as well. Super low pressure and was happy to discuss upsells but didnt act like we NEEDED to get anything more than a direct replacement of what we had.They are technology savvy - I had 3 estimates (direct replacement as well as 2 different upgrades we discussed) in my email before the estimator even left my driveway, which was very convenient. They are also happy to work via email or text message to get things taken care of.Their price was slightly lower than a local competitor but right in the ballpark (and I attempted to get an estimate from a big box store, but their guy never showed). They offer a wide selection and were able to give details of when we could expect to have the door installed, based on inventory.Service for the work itself was great. Their installer called 30 minutes ahead of time to let me know he would be coming toward the end of the 1-hour starting window, because it was snowing and roads were bad. On a 5 hour job no big deal. They took care to remove the old door without damaging my car trapped inside. When it was done, they programmed everything and offered a walkthrough of what they did and what to expect. They immediately emailed a receipt for the work performed and our payment, as well as some nice before and after pictures to share - again, before the installer even left our driveway. They picked up and left and it was like they were never there... Except for the very nice new garage door and opener.
