Pret a Manger in other cities:
The proposal of this place is very cool, quality food, organic and healthy, but ... the quality of care is zero! Evaluate for yourself, the staff swept half the room and raised the chairs, a family of 4 arrived and there was no table available, so they went to a table with the chairs raised, the staff did not let the family use the table, they had to wait for another table and eat at a tiny table. Meanwhile, the cashier kept selling the snacks ignoring the intention of the employee to terminate the service. Behind the cashiers desk was a lot of paper thrown on the floor, which would work that had swept half the room could have cleaned and the bathroom was filthy, without toilet paper for customers who continued to consume the stores products. So I believe that in this store, because I do not intend to know any other, there is a manager to better instruct its employees. There is no point in having quality products to sell if customer service is of poor quality.
I love Pret. Whether in the City or anywhere else Pret is my go to place for a nutritious and yummy meal. Soups and sandwiches are fresh, healthy, filling and delicious. Add a smoothie, juice, soda or coffee and the meal is complete. Their yummy desert squares is the perfect cherry on the top. I love that I can have a quick fast food that is wonderful and healthy for me. I take Pret over any other fast food/quick bite any day or time of the day. Cant recommend it enough!
Pret is my favorite morning stop. The coffee and all of their food selections are delicious! I usually get one of the egg frittatas. I have tried them all and have never been disappointed. Occasionally I get an oatmeal or a fresh pastry. The salads are great too and I absolutely love the new Cuban sandwich!! Toasted!! The level-up app makes it super convenient at the register and also for accumulating points for free items. The location across from Bryant Park in 42nd had the best staff who are friendly and keep the place well stocked.
Clean with a nice staff and vegitarian options. The food was ok, nothing special, but not gross even though it was the end of the day. The staff was very friendly and recommended something since Id never been there. They were really courteous considering it was almost closing time.
This Pret has very little available seating, and on the morning we arrived had limited breakfast options and the coffee really wasnt good. I usually like Pret so hopefully this was just an off-day. One coffee and two chia-seed pudding pots came to around $12 - most of this landed in the trash without being eaten so overall not a great success. More seating here would make a big difference.
In NYC, for coffee, Pret the most reasonably priced, and best tasting organic coffee provider, by far. They are the only ones to use organic milk. They have other organic non-dairy options as well. I think their coffee is better than Bluebottles, Irving Farms, Gregories over priced non organic offering, and I cant fathom why anyone choose s Starbucks over Pret. Worst thing I can say is that it can be inconsistent at times. I go daily. 5 stars regardless
Excellent grab and go establishment. To me, this is the pulse of Manhattan. When we get hungry sometimes we need food quick and I mean quick. Pret offers quality grab and go coffee, assorted drinks, pre made sandwiches, salads, wraps, fruit, yogurt and chips. All the menu items Ive had here, Ive enjoyed. For example, chicken sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, egg salad and more. If you decide to have a seat and eat here, they offer free WiFi.
Not sure if the name is French or just some words in English I am unfamiliar with. That being said, this Pret has tons of seating and provides a nice little oasis from the chaos that is Midtown Manhattan. The also have awesome premade soup, wraps, and other food items that are generally healthy for you if you’re intermittent fasting or watching calories. However, don’t fall for the cookie upsell. That’s a 500 calorie trap.
Such rude personnel! They don’t even deserve one star. I have never argued with a personnel in my entire life but I had to tell the woman that she doesn’t need to be rude when I ask something. Her English is awful but she is blaming me why I don’t understand her. They are far from being professional.
A very beautiful store. There is a feeling of opening because the ceiling is high and the windows are large. At lunch time, it is crowded with people working in nearby offices, but you can sit back if you take a moment. This time, I bought a salad with lobster 14 $ (sour dressing vinegar sour!), Fruit cup, smoothie, blueberry muffin (this is a delicious rice cake) for dinner at the hotel. A total of about 30 $.I think it is affordable considering the amount and location.Lobster also had a sandwich. That is around 10 $.I use it in Paris too, but this was nice
Good place to grab a coffee. It has many healthy options. I suggest avoiding the period between 9 am and 10 am, as it is very busy. At lunchtime its the same. Several sandwiches and natural juices options to take with you, which allow you to have a snack even in Central Park, which is nearby.
Today my friend and I came where he only needed a toilet, and because we entered I asked for coffee and asked the accountant how much the account was, and he answered me for free and I said how is this! The manager said his mood today is excellent, so I like to give you what you ask for free of charge, so thank you to the manager after thanking God Almighty.

2022-07-18Have always loved their Soups n salads (from London visits). Both their chicken and tomato soups were hot n yummy. Would visit Prêt anytime - have noticed if you’re too late for lunch - 3pm - food choices reduce cause they are sold out.

2022-06-07When the manager is around, things are okay. But she is often not out front, and the staff working there now routinely ignores customers waiting to pay, instead talking amongst themselves and playing with their phones. The food and prices are fine--in line with what this chain charges anywhere--but the SERVICE is TERRIBLE, especially at lunchtime!!! Better off eating at a food cart in this area or ANY other restaurnt.

2022-07-10Always communicate to your customers- the good news or the bad news! This place lacks elementary understanding of how to handle their customers. I ordered and paid for regular coffee, and started waiting for my order. Nobody told me that they had run out of regular coffee. So I kept on waiting until a staff member handed me a cappuccino, again without explaining that they gave run out of regular coffee. I refused since I am in dairy- free diet and kept on waiting until finally someone had the brilliant idea to spell it out: we run out of regular coffee and you have to wait until a new batch is being prepared. After a ton of frustration, I was issued a refund and I left with a spoiled morning.

2018-12-01This place has the best tasting macaroni and cheese dish! They are also very accommodating to their customers. Accessible to subway stations and is very to everything. Coffee is great as well. We enjoyed their fresh baked croissants. It’s buttery and light. Happy eating.❤️

2022-03-24Was so excited about this location reopening, but had to discover that the quality has substantially gone downhill. The food used to seem much cleaner and the bang bang chicken wrap tastes completely different now (only like pickles).

2017-11-08Good option for a quick bite before a Broadway Show. They have lots of options including vegetarian options and all at a reasonable price. They have sandwiches , soups , salads, and even macaroni and cheese. The staff is very friendly as well.

2022-07-11Not a huge selection of sandwiches and definitely not really anything kids would be interested in. The sandwich I had was good though.

2018-04-16Friendly, hard working staff, when they were not helping customers, they were out and about cleaning tables, restocking napkins and coffee supplies, sweeping floors, etc. They were amazing to watch as they worked. Extremely kind manager/supervisor who made my day by her kindness. Thank you! And the food was good too!
