They are never busy in the mornings so it’s perfect to get coffee and pastries FAST. This morning, the floor manager started to yell at the employees while helping me cash out. She embarrassed the staffs, delayed my time, caused an unnecessary scene which made everyone feel uncomfortable. Other than the unprofessionalism, it’s quick and easy.
I LOVE this place. Like Doug I stand second in agreement, Pret is the best fast food restaurant to happen in NYC. When you get there check out Caesar, his the one with the genuine smile always @ the ready to help. Harrison, like Caesar do not allow you to leave, enter w/o a friendly greeting. All this is a reflection of their manager Karines. A good looking group of people inside & out. Thanks for starting my mornings on a good note 😆
Almost nothing left at 17:30… only a couple of cold wraps. It was not possible to sit in the restaurant. Un inviting.
Food is still good but not as generous portions as before, even the staff is declining. They used to be super friendly and accomodating. Now, if you point out that there is no coffee or milk, they act annoyed.

The location is meticulously tidy & well lit, there are tables and window-facing stools - you can munch on lunch while admiring Park Avenues foot traffic. The staff here is friendlier than the usual sandwich shop crew. One afternoon the guys working here admired my Manila Luzon tshirt so much that my soup order was gratis. Werq!The pastries, coffee, and sandwiches always taste fresh. The falafel, red pepper wrap is warm and nicely marries flavor with gooey cheese. The Moroccan lentil soup is quite delicious but bite carefully! - sometimes it has solid bits.If you make a mess like me, be sure to ask the cashier for extra napkins. They are not stocked with the utensils stationed by the door.
Yummy place to get sandwiches or salads to go. Great coffee and breakfast items like croissants. Interior is clean and seating is comfortable!
Helpful staff, good selection of quality beverages and pastries, and a clean store. I would recommend it to anyone passing by, especially if youre looking to warm from the cold weather.
This Pret a manger on park avenue is awesome ! my aunt is actually the store manager , and the sales asociates are really nice and helped me choose something good to eat, i have been there many times and all there menu items are soo good, and good for you !

Much better than Starbuks for a good breakfast. Many delicious and natural options. The juices are great and the cheese toasts are the best. Excellent Greek yogurts with granola. Its worth a taste of the American format to serve yourself.

2022-03-28Ok so it was a late afternoon shopping, around 5 pm, I did not expected to have a wild choice. There were 2 sandwiches which looked like they were there for a week, few croissants, looking tired and 2 people working there reach in attitude. Would not recommend it.

2022-02-25I am being nice giving two stars. This place is ghetto for a Park Avenue location. The staff manager or supervisor was talking about the clients in front of a client. It almost appeared as if she was disappointed on how many customers dined in due to the nice weather. Stating I dont know why there was so many people in here and where they was all gonna fit. I was offended by that considering I work in the area. On another occasion I felt singled out as I was approached to raise my mask higher despite the Indoor Business Mask Requirement being lifted as of Feb 9, 2022.

2022-02-03I stopped by here two days ago. And I’m writing this after two days of food poisoning, had to call out of work. How hard is it to make and store a chicken caeser salad? Apparently too hard. Disgusting. Cold. And unfriendly branch.

2021-10-12This one is solely to the girl at the checkout. I’m guessing you’re a morning shifter. First you can’t direct the traffic of your line properly. Second, I really hope your day is inconvenienced the same way you did mine when you filled my hot coffee up to the nines and it spilled all over me and my phone as I walked back to my office. As if I can’t carry a cup of coffee like a normal person. When in reality, you could’ve just filled a cup to a reasonable line. Jerk!

2021-09-28The Pret on 54th and Madison is my local shop. This a.m I went in to pick up a salmon/Quineoa salad with avocado. Now at lunch I dig in and the Avo is hard. Not frozen hard, but not ripe. What bothers me is the prep person knew it wasn’t ripe as they cut it and put it in the salad anyway. I couldn’t get my fork in to it. Hugely disappointed.

2021-07-27New manager in the morning/early afternoon is terrible. Very rude to customers. There was a full blown fight happening between one of the staff and a customer the other day. Manager was laughing in the background.

2014-08-23I love this Pret A Manger location. I live in the area and its super convenient. I like how the coffee is self serve so you can make it exactly how you want it. Their breakfast sandwiches are tasty as are the lunch sandwiches and brownies. Eating lunch on Park Ave for less than a million dollars and its good!
