Nice selection of healthy ready prepared soups, salads and sandwiches for those that just want to grab and go without waiting e long lines for custom orders. Really enjoyed the Mediterranean salad which had fallafel, pomegranate seeds, mixed greens and spiralized beets. Very unique in its combination but non of the flavors were over powering. Planning to visit again.
The food and drinks are always good when I’ve gone here. However, I suspect the new subscription thing they’re doing has every student around coming for multiple drinks per day. The average turnaround for me to just get a tea is 10-15 minutes. And they’re often out of many essentials, or even out of lids. This previous time I waited 20 minutes, didn’t get my tea, and just left. This ship is sinking. I hope they can fix this.They need higher pay, more staff, more than one register open, etc. the staff are generally very cheery, despite the crowds of customers.
Employees are doing their best to provide good service given the high volumes of people. system would be efficient if customers followed it as intended. the manager is very efficient at providing exceptional service. please be kind about things that they cannot control :(
The coffee subscription is great, but the past several times I went they quite literally ran out of everything except hot tea and black coffee. I basically come here on a bargain if Ill even get a drink or not. The servicing system is always messy, and Ive seen so many customers be confused about picking up coffee orders.
I am shocked at the state this Pret has been operating at. Every single time I have walked in over the past two weeks, they have told me they have no ice or no alternative milks or no straws or a combination of everything. After years of being in operation, they have not managed to stock themselves properly on a day to day basis. They literally advertise almond milk and oat milk yet they never have them in stock. I have literally heard so many people complain about this now that I am honestly surprised the situation has still not been fixed.
The staff are extremely rude! they were talking about me getting another drink from my UNLIMITED coffee pass - thinking that I do not understand Spanish. This is unprofessional they are not there to make judgements about people and their preferences. I will continue to get all the drinks I want and I really wish from management to give this locations staff some ethical frameworks to work within - making fun of customers for consuming is against any business model!
I went in for morning coffee and breakfast. I ordered and paid for my food. Then I am told there is nodining inside. Why? What the hell is wrong with you people. Starbucks just down the block had indoor and outdoor seating. This makes absolutely no sense. I won’t be back.
I am a fan of Pret, but this branch doesn’t deserve the brand. This review is based on a full week eating 3 meals a day.1. The bathrooms are NEVER clean, not once, in fact they were always GROSS and our of toilet paper.2. The staff could not be more grumpy. It feels like you are asking for free food.3. Out of condiments for 2 days!4. Closed before hours without updating google maps - so if you go late you’ll waste the trip5. Pret’s philosophy says that they don’t sell you food from the day before, but that’s not the case here.6. You can’t see the price you are being billed and they don’t offer the receipt.They need new management, training and to hire people who are down to do the job.
I love this Pret store. I visit New York twice a year and come back every time. The staff are friendly and accommodating always. I especially like the fact that they have decaf and regular coffee that is self serve so that I can make a custom cup of coffee. A few times the decaf was out and the manager went to the back and made fresh decaf and brought it out to me with no charge:)
Just like the rest of the franchise, this Pret has good organic food, prepared daily, ready to go along with fair trade coffee. Occasionally, they have challenges here: if you can guess the coffee, you get a cup free. Also, if they catch you waiting for a while they may give something away on the house. Theyre very customer-focused. Great place to eat.
I have been there a few times around 6pm weekdays. Staff is always friendly but I think they might have management issues.Coffee offerings are mesy. Both times I ordered they forgot about it and I had to ask for it again a few minutes later.The counter behind the registers always look very messy and disorganized which inevitably make. Me wonder - if public facing areas look like that, imagine what their kitchen must look like.
I like the idea of serving fresh quality food and trying to be sustainable. My complain is that the cashier charged me a different more expensive juice than the one I bought. First I thought she did it because I am not a regular there and I had a strong foreign accent. Then I realized that they often make mistakes in the bills so be careful. Sometimes it may be that the price tag is wrong or the cashiers are overloaded that they charge the wrong items and that may even be in your favor.
If you like to pay double the price for half the quality, this place is for you. I never knew a soggy finger sandwich and a coffee could be more than $10, but I was unpleasantly surprised. This is place would be out of business if not for its proximity to the university. The only plus was a polite staff
Very nice place! Pret A Manger is an English chain that is based in London. Pretty sells sandwiches, soups, salads, and Pastrys. People come to this location mostly for the Sandwiches, and coffee ☕️. The staff are mostly young, cheerful people. The people that come here are mostly young students (which adds 1 star.) This Pret A Manger is a good size, you will probably find a seat. The sandwiches are very good! Why do I go to Pret all the time? Because it reminds me of how good London is.
This place is awesome. I cant speak much for the menu, only been here once but its seems alright. The staff is very nice, they gave us food for free because they had left overs I guess and they gave us water with ice and cookies. Great place to study and hangout with friends. Definitely coming here again!
More training is needed here. I asked for a toasted bagel with cream cheese. There was no cream cheese, so I asked for butter. I sit down and find I have a room temperature bagel and ice cold butter. Of course, the butter should be cold. I go back to the cashier, and she says we dont toast, its warm. It was NOT. And why didnt she say so when I ordered? I asked how can I spread cold butter on it, to which she just shrugged her shoulders. Really? And there were no knives in the utensil kiosk, though she insisted there were. I checked twice. When she finally said they would get some, I just said never mind, Im leaving. If my americano were not exceptional, I would have given one star.
I always like Pret as they give a lot of reward perks and in this case, the cashier gave me a free drink (Latte) on the house.All in all, good hot food selections, excellent wraps but i would shy away from the cold sanwiches (that they can heat for you) as they are hard to chew or bite into for that matter.
You guys should learn how to make coffee. I ordered an espresso macchiato (espresso with a bit of milk/foam) and got coffee to the brim of the cup. After explaining what an espresso macchiato is to the barista, I was asked if I wanted another one, turns around, empties half of the cup and hands it back to me...
Wow you can’t customize the sandwich and they are just on a warmer , god knows for how long , I have never been a a food store that does not let u customize your food , please learn from the other businesses and make ur fresh food and let them customize their order . I wish u could give u a -20 star

2022-04-26The employees here couldnt be more rude and crass. The lady in the picture didnt even make eye contact and did not even confirm what Im ordering. When I asked did you get my order she didnt even reply. She was just working on cleaning and getting ready to close the shop, putting all the stuff on the counter like its her living room

2022-05-07During the pandemic this location was great. The staff were super nice and the drinks were always made correctly. Now I’ve had several drinks made incorrectly. I recognize the community that utilizes this location doesn’t always pay attention to what they ordered, or they forget, but some of the staff seem to hate being here - which I honestly don’t blame them. I would hate dealing with impatient, entitled people all day too.

2022-06-19Like the other reviews I have to admit this is the WORST Pret location… most of the staff is rude and dont prepare well the coffee, a latte or cappuccino is the same for the em they just want to do the coffee the quickest way possible so they can go back on their phone… also I saw the cashier blowing her noise and then going back straight away to service customers… no the cleanest on this covid period… people really seems to dont enjoy working there, poorly managed. I used to go there everyday as I have the subscription but I m ending it and will go to bluebbottle, more expensive but way nicer! Such a shame since I really liked Pret quality coffee

2022-06-01Worst customer service of ANY Pret a Manager I’ve EVER been to. The folks behind the counter were annoyed that I cut into their chill time to place an order. All I asked for was a small hot coffee w/half & half, nothing special, but still had to wait as if I ordered a complex latte flown in from Italy.Despite THREE employees being present, any of whom could’ve poured me a quick cup of coffee so I could go to work, only ONE handled all the orders... and she had ZERO sense of urgency or multitasking, despite customers piling up like a car wreck. She seemed determined to show us that she didn’t want to be there, as if it were our fault she accepted the job.This is an ongoing thing at this Pret and every time I make the mistake of going there, I quickly realize why I stopped patronizing them. I’d rather walk the extra block to Starbucks, where the customer service is significantly better.

2022-06-17The attitude of most of the cashiers is extremely unwelcoming. They lack basic understanding of what customer service (or how to politely interact with people in general). I guess Pret a manger doesn’t care about reviews since I am not the first one to notice the arrogant behavior by the staff at this location.

2022-06-07Everyone knows this lady in the morning who frowns and raise her eyebrows everytime I order? She dont even ask what kind of milk I want or the size of coffee. Seems like she literally hates her job.

2022-05-15Never get my drinks because the ordering system is so bad here and then I have to tell the barista to make my drink since it didn’t come out. Not a good experience at all. I just went today around 2:30pm and the doors were locked, they probably ran out of everything as they always do. I have the coffee pass so I go frequently and every time they’re out of milks or ice and it’s so annoying. I really want to continue the pass but I will not be because the lack of organization is ridiculous. Plus from entering to leaving, I wait about 25 minutes which is absurd. I do genuinely enjoy the chai lattes though!

2021-09-28Love the coffee subscription offered, but unfortunately this location doesnt seem equipped to handle the volume of the area. Every time Ive been (morning, afternoon, and later), the line has been to the door and the pick-up area is a mass of people needing to recite their drink order again to those making the drinks. It makes me not want to order anything even slightly complicated, since there seems to be no rhyme or reason to how coffee orders are communicated from the register to those making the drinks. Ive never been to another Pret, but I cant imagine every one is this disorganized. Please hire more staff, improve training, and/or make a better order system. I cant imagine many will want to keep the subscription past the free month if it remains this bad.

2022-01-27I dont understand the animosity from the drink pusher. She is super loud and very rude to customers. All you have to do is visit one time during the week in the afternoon, and youll know EXACTLY who I am talking about. Its so uncalled for. Maybe she needs a break? Perhaps she could work in the back a few days since she is always so stressed??
