Love this store. They have everything I want and need EXCEPT amaretto flavored international coffee creamer. You’ve got the other flavors, can you add the Amaretto? Please order for me. I’ll buy it! A reasonably priced option in the bayUnfortunately their seafood department was incredibly limited at my last visit. We wanted some salmon. What they had didnt look healthy. Bay hospital is not a place to go when you may die.
Although I ordered 2 cakes for my school reunion several weeks ago, the bakery didnt have a clue about them when I arrived. I arranged for someone else to pick them up later, and Customer Service gave me a hard time about leaving payment. I know orders get misplaced sometimes, but I think the store should have been more cooperative about making the situation easier.

I usually find visits to Price Chopper to be a good experience with very helpful staff. This was my first poor experience with a visit. I needed help with seafood and two employees ignored me at first when I asked for help. Very odd. And then a gentleman got someone from the dept to help me and he said he would, but walked away! I saw him about 10 minutes later and he walked right by me. Disappointing. Otherwise, the produce was fresh and the cashier was pleasant and helpful.
So you need a few things to make your BBQ just right? Then this is a great option. On a fixed budget and need to get your weekly groceries? Take the extra 1/2 hour and head to Watertown. The savings will be more than worth it.Mostly for the tourists locals know they can get the same for less elsewhere.
Love that they have good vegetarian choices. Dont shop in summer on Fridays as big RVs come in to go next door to Swan Bay. Very congested and confusing.
Love this store. Great location! I really wish they would advertise more about the ability to reach this store by water! Very convenient for those staying on nearby islands! You dont see that mentioned anywhere.

The first thing I want to say about this place is every employee we ran into was incredibly nice! We stopped here on our way to Canada and honestly had no idea where we were. We had never been to this location or any of the locations frankly, and we were impressed. Everything was well kept and clean, and the displays looked really beautiful. We had some chicken tender meals from the cafe area and sat down to eat them. The young guy actually had them made fresh for us and found us in the store to tell us they were done because we had wandered off, it was really nice of him! The food was great especially for the price. I think the meal was like 6 dollars and came with two sides, a drink, and 3 chicken tenders. You just cant beat that! They even had meals that were prepackaged for 6 bucks too! Im used to Wegmans pricing where if you want a hot meal you better be prepared to spend 10 dollars or more, do this was a really nice change. I wish we had these where Im from, but enjoyed my experience here nonetheless!

This place was beautiful and well kept. Staff was very nice and helpful. Impressed with the selection of just about everything. They had generous portion of ready to heat meals for only $5! Those meals would sell in our local stores at 12 or 14 easy! Really wish we had one of these in our town!
I love this store. Whenever we go camping we end up stopping here for random stuff we forgot. Like this time it was socks, oatmeal, and carrots. They have socks and lots of other stuff we have needed in the past while camping. Also, the staff is always friendly.
This store is probably often fine, but when we visited (multiple times) in the summer, lines were long and the store was quite crowded. They seemed to not really have sufficient stock of food as many shelves were quite empty.I’d assume that during winter they get far less buisness than summer which probably causes this issue, but regardless, the store experience was not good.
The store was slightly disorderly. The whole deli area was mostly out of stock, and a bit dirty. We werent overly impressed with this particular store.
With so many isles, I often dont find what I want. I spend a lot of time wandering around. Would like to see more healthy food choices. Also check out is always a nightmare. A time waster. I avoid the store and choose Aldi, and if I must, go to Walmart.

Price Chopper is nice to have nearby. It would be more helpful if some of the products on the top shelves were easier to reach. I am not tall enough to reach the Polar soda and always have to ask a fellow shopper for help.
Love this place so far about 99.9% of the people are friendly and awesome and they definitely always usually have some good deals to buy and I never had to really wait in line.
This is a nice PC. Staff is very polite and helpful. Only thing is when u check out, the aisle to leave is tiny. Good place to get groceries overall.
They have a cafe inside that you can pick up quick bite or sandwiches to go...conveniently located right before heading to wellesley island state park, incase u need to grab some groceries.
Staff is always friendly and helpful. Does get a little over crowded during the summer seasons with traffic jams mostly occurring around the milk. I have had issues with the produce going bad quickly as well. Other than that, this is our favorite grocery store in the area to shop. Nice selection and friendly faces! If you like craft beers, they have a pretty decent selection for a grocery store as well!
This is a huge store filled with a large variety of foods. The prices seem a little high but they often have a large amount of on sale items. This makes it worth going there to shop.They carry a decent amount of ethnic foods and a variety of choices.The deli and bakery are very good, they use quality meats and the bakery turns out great doughnuts and assorted breads etc. Overall a good store, especially if you shop sale items.
Excellent store. The bagels are huge! They stock various Genesee brands, which is good.
I have been taking advantage of the Instacart feature offered at both the Watertown, NY and Alexandria Bay, NY. This has really worked out during the pandemic and its easy to pick up the groceries as the workers put all the items in your trunk. I personally like to shop, but this is a safer alternative for now. I top my hat to all the workers and hope they stay safe.
Great selection of fresh foods and a small organic section. The store always has sales and deals, including meat and bread. They have a deli counter but it often has a line. Great bakery section with fresh bagels and desserts. The bagels have many varieties and are very popular. Would highly recommended getting the Advantage Card as you will accumulate cents off for your gas purchase (across the street) They have large parking area and the staff is very friendly. They ask if you need assistance with your groceries to your car. During peak times even the express lanes can be long and you can find yourself waiting for a bit.
Immaculate, well stocked store. But what sets this grocery store apart is the staff. The cashiers are so friendly, professional and courteous!! Kudos to you guys.. 5 stars!!
I was there a little after 7 this morning disappointed there were not many varieties of doughnuts available. Otherwise, it was a typical Price Chopper.

Probably one of the worst experiences Ive ever had at a supermarket the woman Joanne working the register at 6 a.m. was very rude to my ten-year-old daughter and myself all we wanted was 4 quarters to dry our clothes from the storm last night because we were camping please never go back to this Price Chopper I even asked for a manager but no manager was called for me this is unacceptable

Easy access off of the road and not from from all the camping facilities on Wellesley island. We stayed at black lake and found the twenty minute drive was worth the effort. The selection is very good, the meats looked fresh in the meat cases, AND the fruits and vegetables were fresh and appetizing.
Received great service at the deli counter. Nice clean store, had a great selection of produce when we were there. We stopped there one time while in town visiting. We had a pleasant experience.
When your camping on Wellesley Island Price Chopper is the place to go for most of your needs. Its nice that you can get there by boat too. Its clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are good. What can I say...its the best place to shop.
Price Chopper in Alexandria Bay is a nice store. People that work there are friendly and help if you need to find anything but I feel very stressed and rushed at the checkout. I live on the river and everyone is laid back and no rush which is what I like during my retirement years! I was also charged for 2 packages of hamburger rolls when I purchased 1 package and charged full price for a bakery item that was on sale today. I bought alot of groceries today and could not watch the cashier and discovered it when I got home and checked my receipt. If I go back I have to pay for another trip over the bridge.
Always a Great experience, Everytime we find more and more discounts. The service the attention to detail is in each ille we enjoy the lighting the personal touch, and always helpful workers staff and managers who actually take time to see how the visit goes!! This is the worst Price Chopper weve ever been to. Regardless of what day & time we visit, shelves are always poorly stocked. Frequently out of sale items. Parking spaces narrow compared with other stores in area. Store is clean & Staff are all very nice.
Today, my wife and 2 kids stood at the pizza/sub counter next to the deli for 10 minutes waiting to order. 4 different people walked by a total of 7 times and did not offer to us help. We walked out. It is obvious that customer service is not a focus at Price Chopper. Extremely disappointed.
They dont bag groceries. Started ringing up another customer before I had mine baged and loaded.

Lunch time is nightmare. They have one person making sandwichs and doing hot food, never enough food prepped. Answer, it will be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. When you are on lunch break, lunch is over before you can get your food. Mean while there are three to four people on the deli counter standing around. And a line a mile long at the hot and cold food counter. Very disappointing. Food give or take ,never the same, some times awful some times good.
Ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, was ready in 15 minutes. It was honestly one of the best pizzas I have had! We have found our new pizza joint! Kudos!

Definitely the nicest supermarket in the area with a nice produce, deli, and bakery section. It is only a few years old and bright and comfortable. The staff is a little young and at times inexperienced.
Much better selection in the summer when their population quadrupled. Very friendly staff. Fresh vegetables and fruits. A great variety and open 24 hours. You can even boat there!
Nice store. But Price Chopper price gouges, 25% or more. Check your prices. They definitely take advantage of their customers.
We purchased chicken tenders on Sat of last week to Serve to company and to our surprise they were the most awful tenders we have ever tried to eat. They did not even taste like chicken, could not cut with a knife. We could not tell What they were. Normally we choose PC over Wegmans meats but not this time. Your store is the only game in town so we hope not to have this experience when we visit the area again. Rita Nelson
Its helpful for a campers needs but lacks items. I felt that a place near a vacation spot would have more prepared foods such as multiple bulk types of salads
A great small price chopper. Probably would have rated 5 star, but as usual the deli is understaffed and un-friendly. We shop there unless we are going to Watertown.
Highly recommend this place. A large variety and at reasonable prices products. Comparable to Walmart with better service and shelf are always stocked. Give it a shot.:)
I went into the deli to pay for my things a girl saw me put my Groceries on the counter and walked away I stood there waiting so I got one of the girls that I know my name is and very nice girl she came over to wait on me as she was busy doing something else when I worked there we were in allowed to do that is just a shame is such a nice store and you got people there in the deli that doesnt like to work Sorry but thats the way it happened
This is a full service grocery with everything that you will need and more!! Clean, convenient, prices are reasonable, services is good and selection is second to none. Open 24 hours all year round!!

Very disappointed today. Typically go to Watertown Price Chopper and Hannaford, but since I didnt need a huge amount of groceries I went to this one in Alexandria Bay. I was extremely disappointed. They were out of almost every item I went there to purchase. Had I not been pressed for time I would have just gone to Watertown but lesson learned. Im from NH but live in Kingston, Ontario so make the trip once a month or every other month - so not like I can just go another day. And I like to pick up items I cant get in Ontario. Hope Price Chopper hire more staff to restock shelves for us shoppers.

Head down to the Big M supermarket near the Bay! Nothing special! Exactly what to expect of Price chopper except chopping prices! Way over priced because they have a hold on the market in the area! Service is also slow!

Huge, with very fresh looking produce, friendliest associates. Prices are a bit high but understandable given location and absence of competition.
Maybe I didnt give it a chance but its so tiny. The aisles are very narrow. It seemed crowded. We just walked in and walked out because it was way to frustrating and crowded. Never been to a market designed like it.

2021-10-16Clean and well stocked store. The deli and vegetable section had fresh product. The meals that are prepped at the store have a great taste. Signing up for their rewards program was quick, easy and free. I downloaded their app in the store and was able to collect points on my first purchase. I also liked how easy it was to clip the coupons on the app. The cashiers are nice and have excellent bagging skills! Ive made it home without squashed bread and broken eggs. Thats a win in my book!

2022-03-15If you cant find what your looking for at alternate locations..., Price Chopper seems to still have stocked shelves. Although slightly pricier, the quality of produce and meats, amazing! If you have an awards cards, it helps curve the cost.

2022-05-22Was going to buy a slice of pizza, but was burnt. So, we ordered a small pizza, was in a hurry and hungry, Sadly when we got in car looked at pizza, that was burnt also ! The thin crust just crumbled and was literally black.....

2019-06-30The store is new and has everything one needs. It has a great variety of take out or eat in food with seating outside designated area. There is a good selection of baking goodies for any occasion. The store is clean and the restroom is accessible. The recycling center is located next door in separate room accessible from outside.

2021-08-04Havent been to this Price Chopper in a very long time and I do live in a bay. Usually go to Walton Street market because they absolutely have the best meat especially the steak. but let me tell you this store is so clean they get a lot of lot of things in, that you dont see elsewhere, and that is always a plus for me! I really do like it here and I will definitely recommend it and they have the sales which helps. Only downfall, some of the employees not too friendly, which is not acceptable.My cashier was amazing Kaneesha I think her name was, absolutely a good person @ the job, so helpful, so personable a smile upon her face. I think that means everything. Also Id like to add, there was a young man doing stock in the dairy isle he was very nice and very personable .

2021-08-26Outstanding clean friendly supermarket. Secret that most people don’t know is that they have great takeout food in their deli department with chairs and tables to sit and eat it at. From lobster to pizza, to fried chicken and much much more. If you’re looking for a cheap dinner with your kids this is a good spot to check out!
