Comparable to Aldis. Didnt have a cpl things, but found other things we werent looking for
I literally bought this here yesterday. I miss Brooklyn so much because of things like this, which are so common in Syracuse. Its just gross here. Tops is no better. Not surprised at all.
I never expect much from a grocery store. As long as produce is affordable there’s not much to complain about. What I’m not okay with is one of the store workers suggesting that you’re stealing when you come for a refund/exchange. I have never returned anything here and my boyfriend came to exchange for 2 cans of beans because we purchased the wrong ones for the recipe. The lady scolded him saying he could not return/exchange without the card that purchased the items and how he went thru the front of the store rather than the exit. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to process a store credit for the items that would’ve taken no more than a few minutes. I guess you get what you pay for. Maybe pricerite should reconsider hiring a bunch of trash employees that can’t process simple refund
This Price Rite is not handicapped accessible. I often feel like the store needs to be spruced up. The prices are good. The staff is competent however not knowledgeable about the different fruits and vegetables or where and item is. This store is self check out

I had to grab snack and a couple items for meals. It was fairly clean. They sell many produce that many other stores do not sell. The produce is price affordable. This is a place you can get all ur grocery shopping done and save money. Great place to also find many different seasoning.

I would give 5 stars for it not the fact that I can never find what Im looking fur while Im actively trying to find it. Its not organized very well at all but other than that this store just makes sense to shop at. Theyve got a good selection of food, the produce usually looks good for the most part, the prices are better then fair and if you get your meat, our whatever from another store its not too far from where your already at. And Ive had A really good experience with their employees as well

Look guys, it’s a cheap grocery store with low quality products. It’s for very poor people and it’s a good thing It exists but lots of bad crowd shops there so I don’t like it. Smelly homeless people etc. If you can do better, then do better.
Best to go early in the morning when it is quiet and slow. Very clean, open, warehouse style store with very reasonable prices. Someone in my family is here weekly. Employees are also helpful and friendly.

They seem to feel only self check out is neccessary when theres 40 people in line.. NEVER have enough lines open despite MANY workers walking around the store

They literally have everything here from international food to seasonings affordable meats and a wide variety of any kind of products you can think of , super cheap and convenient if you are looking for a bargain !! My second month shopping here never seize to amaze me and the workers are also very helpful. Only downside is that you either bring your own bags or pay for them because they make you search for boxes throughout the store instead of providing them like save a lot for example
I love the variety of ethnic foods available here. When I want to pick up some green or yellow plantains for a great price, I come here. This location is immaculate, which is another positive. Price Rite on Erie Blvd. Is a great grocery store.
This was my very first time ever going into here. he store was very disorganized it had a very strange odor to it, almost like a dead animal smell. The shelves were dusty amd had black streaks on them (not clean at all). The floor look like it had not been sweped or mopped in years. Their so I called fresh produce section was discusting. The produce hadold on it, and there were fruit flies everywhere. The meat section was not any better. The meats were brownish green, and there was a slight odor in that area that just made you want to vomit. I walked out of there without purchasing anything. Overall I do not recommend this place. I feel that the health department needs to come in and either fine them heavily, or shut then completely down.
They have pretty good food except for their meats. Friend of mine had bought from them and the chicken was bad so make sure you look good at the dates they may not be rotating as well as they should be. But the atmosphere is good the customers are very kind. So was the workers very helpful
The e-coupons are hard to correctly deduct from the receipt. Cashier didnt deduct the $1.40 bottle return receipt; but, didnt notice that until I got home. Will do a separate transaction in the future.
The shelves and Meat Department is always empty
Great place to buy pasta cheap. I dislike their self checkout registers as they are super sensitive when a fly lands on them. Stops you from continuing checking out. Very annoying.
The cashier was checking things out 1 handed b/c she was on her phone. She took her phone & shoved her hand down her shirt so she could stuff the phone in her bra. The consideration for hygiene wasnt exactly there. Then I hear ringing & voice. She responds to it. She doesnt look at me or say anything to me. No Have a nice day. But this pig can take a call from a phone inside her greasy, sweat bra? The store is generally disgusting as it is. This was vominous.
Great prices on groceries. Lots of unique/ethnic spices and ingredients to choose from to help you make your next awesome dish. Some bulk pricing available on things like sugar/flour/etc, the produce was super fresh, and they had whole sticks of SUGARCANE!!!!! What else could you want? And the staff is very friendly.
Decent selection of foods, meat and produce are alright and there is a reasonable variety. The main customer base is on the lower income side so theres allot of things for quite cheap, especially the price rite brand items, which arent lacking much in quality. Overall a great place for cheap everyday shopping, especially on a Budget.
Super inexpensive everything. They lower variety and dont include bags to get the price down, but the quality of the food is still high. I save so much money shopping here its kind of ridiculous. Great selection of fruits and vegetables as well as a lot of interesting ethnic foods.
Very good deals. We travel from Pulaski to East Syracuse for that store. Nice and clean good deals on the food highly recommended if you have the time to go there. Best price of chicken wings around 229 a pound all day everyday

It seem to have everything you need except organic foods. If you find any,its not much. The staff is friendly and helpful. They charge for bags to put your groceries in,so bring your own if you have. They dont have carts for the disabled, but its wheelchair accessible. Parking is available and plenty of space. I would return for some items.
Im vegan and have always been able to find fresh vegetables .Ive read about this store and from the articles its obvious that most of their produce is organic and reasonable in price.

Clerks should not put peoples things away while they are still shopping because they think a cart is abandoned- I was in the aisle looking at spices and she put part of my groceries away which I now came home without..... this wasMy second favorite store- quickly fell to fifth after this episode.
Dont go often, have had issues with perishable and meats not lasting long in the fridge or freezer. Have yet to have same issue with foods from other locations. Handicapped parking, public restrooms, satisfactory prices, and bring your own bag. Or you can buy bags on location. I believe theyre now 25© per bag.
I had a good shopping experience. This is a warehouse store so dont expect fancy displays. Checking out is typical European, in that you bag your own items in either a bag you bring yourself or you purchase at checkout time.
It was easy to find what we were looking for. Good service.
Prices are good, all things considered. Very little assortment though and you have to bring your own bags or pay the difference you saved buying theirs (.20 per bag!) Not in the best area of town, remember to lock your car doors.

We shop here mostly for canned goods and their meat specials. We love the low prices. When we do buy meat here, it is usually the ribs or pork shoulders when they are on sale. We have found the meats to be fresh and of good quality.
Great if you need ethnic ingredients spices etc. Lots of Jamaican national brand products and Hispanic products. The only place in town where I can get real Caribbean spices and occasionally even Scotch bonnet peppers.
Check out is slow but overall I am pleased with the store and I will be shopping atPrice Rite again.

Produce at lower prices although at times produce is at its end depending whats left. Cheaper priced chicken & especially pork spare rib & frozen shrimp when sale. Bring your own bags or buy at small cost.

I just LOVE Price Rite. Great prices on fresh produce and meats, especially pork. And being a store that caters to all kinds of ethnic foods makes making anything but American cuisine easier.
This is pretty much a bare-bones store with essentials and not a wide variety, similar to an Aldis store. Like Aldis, it has cheaper prices, but not on everything. You have to check carefully to make sure you are getting the best price.
Not a bad mid sized discount grocer. They have a huge selection. Most things are very affordable. But but but, the things that are more are way more than wegmans or even tops.

Cheap is right! The raw beef is a gray brown color with flies surrounding it. The chicken was just gray. I am confident if you eat this food you will get sick. We were going to just get prepackaged frozen meat. So at least we know they couldnt have gotten cross comtamination. But they dont have any! Department of health NEEDS to come in here! Also there was cardboard laying around on the ground where people could slip on it. The owners need to replace management.
If your company is willing to cut jobs for a automated system and make customer self check out,(lack customer service)then your prices should be chopped ,also if there are less jobs in the community you service ,then thecommunity should shop else where ...
This is one of the places I love shopping groceries from. Since I live nearby campus and with no car access, it very difficult to travel around the city to shop in the marts like Walmart, Wegmans etc. Whereas price rite is quite nearby and in walking distance. Moreover you will find almost all the grocery and produce items and that too with great price. But yeah if you are looking for electronics items, you better go to target or Walmart. Also, if you think its not easy for you to travel to and fro to price rite, you can sign up for instacart subscription and. An get all the grocery items delivered to your doorstep.

Very cheap supermarket, but definitely not the best of quality for foods. I would go there if I just need one quick thing, or some packaged food items, but I generally dont buy fresh produce there. Id rather pay a bit more and go to another supermarket for fresher items.
I went there to go grocery shopping. The one on Erie Blvd. The prices were fair. I noticed that most of the lower shelfed items were missing their price tags. Especially in the fruit and vegetable sections. As well as the refrigerator section. This was very aggravating to me.

Very few precautionary measures are being taken to prevent the spread of Covid 19. Will not be back to this store. Sanitizing of high touch areas such as grocery carts, grocery belt, payment terminals etc., needs to be done and it is not.
Friendly employees and management. If you like music while you shop Price Rite is the place to shop and sing. Manager Arron is knowlegeable and always willing to help all customer.

The variety could be improved. There are some things you just wont find here, but for basic necessities, this is a good spot.
Great selection of products, most products are processed foods and GMO products; like the lemons, soy milk, fruits and vegetables, etc. There is a marginal selection of non GMO foods. They are no different than most food chains like Aldi or Save A Lot, where vertually all the food items are GMO, processed, or have food dyes, additives, high in salt, sugar and flavorings.

Price Rite is 1or my Neighborhood Grocery stores.And so far, overall, my shopping experience has and is 100 satisfactory, with the employees and shopping compared price ranges verse all other near-by grocery stores.

2022-03-21Too bad the prices are so great and theyve got some great Latin foods bc Id love to avoid this place altogether. Halal meats are good but the regular brands are so great. Awesome produce options. Every time I shop here theres at least 2 items that arent priced as advertised. Typically only self checkout lines available and the attendant is always busy ringing in an immigrant who doesnt speak English and is confused about the payment process.

2022-05-04This is the only store that sell a great amount of Goya foods and for the price it was worth it all day I spent less in this store.. then I did in Walmart and they didnt even have to much Goya foods so check it out specially if u need any Goya products.

2021-11-14As a cheap supermarket, you cant ask too much about it. Some waiters are rather indifferent. The biggest problem is that the vegetables may be out of stock or not fresh.
