I came to Priscilla Appliances because of their good reputation. I needed a new range and needed some guidance on choosing the right product for me. At the store I was greeted by Allison Leigh. She was helpful in showing me different models and explaining all the features. Allison found me a great range and was able to get me a discount on it! She was very courteous, knowledgeable and patient. I also got the delivery date that I needed. I would very much recommend Prisco Appliances because of the personal touch that they give you.
FAMILY!! There is nothing more Important, and nobody will treat you better! 3 generations of the Prisco Family have taken care of 3 generations of me and my family for 30+ years. Most recently, I needed to replace my washing machine AND FAST!! My clothes were starting to pile up. And my house was a s beginning to smell like dirty socks!! I called Mario, and like magic, a Brand New washer was delivered with white glove servjce by the professionals at Prisco Appliances!! They installed everything with great precision and the utmost care AND even hauled my broken machine away!!! AT NO EXTRA CHARGE!! Try that OnLine, or with one of the Big Box stores!!! Sure, the price looks great at first, but then all the EXTRA ADD-ONS will have THEM seeing the GREEN!! AND, who are you going to ask to speak to after being on hold for 20 or 30 minutes??? One of their family members??? DONT THINK SO!! Theres no Mario, or Nicky, that youve known for years!! Avoid all the nonsense and gimmicks and skip the B.S. additional charges!!! GO PRISCO!!
The people at Prisco were amazing! My refrigerator died on a Thursday and I had a new one on the following Tuesday, despite all of the shipping and stock issues happening everywhere. Nick, Bobby and the rest of the crew went above and beyond for me. I highly recommend buying at Prisco. I certainly will go straight to them for any appliance needs in the future.

First time i have ever shopped Priscos and we had a great experience with our sales girl Allison who was awesome…so nice and friendly and efficient and was so helpful buying a whole kitchen package. They were able to deliver everything within a week and the 2 delivery guys Chris and Wilson were the best delivery guys i have ever had. Tough house to get everything in and they were so friendly and took time to not damage anything and somehow got everything into the house . Very few delivery people would have taken the time and done such a good job . Because of all 3’people i dealt with I will definitely be going back to them for anything we need
I bought a Friedrich a/c (through the sleeve) last summer 2020 for my L/R and Allison, my sales rep, helped me with exactly what I was seeking. Allison is not about nonsense and she is about business which I appreciated. She also negotiated with me regarding the price.On July 30, 2021, I returned to Prisco and went directly to Allison. I needed another a/c for the sleeve but this time for the bedroom. I knew which model LG a/c and the btu that I wanted. Once again, Allison took care of me. She located the model, was professional, worked quickly to fulfill my request 👏🏻 , price matched and I bought the unit! 😀 So far, my experiences at Prisco has been positive!
My entire Prisco experience was awesome. I was able to select and purchase my new a/c on the phone. The installation was scheduled at a time that was convenient for me. The delivery/installers went above and beyond to remove my old unit and install the new unit in its place. I would totally recommend Prisco to anyone that asks.
A 5 star experience— at the least. From start to finish the purchase of a Verona 36 inch range was exceptional, beginning (and ending) with our salesperson Allison. She is knowledgeable, accommodating and followed up in a way we’ve not experienced previously. Installation was flawless and pleasant. The small problem with the machine became Allison’s mission to rectify and it was resolved within hours of delivery. They have a customer for the duration.
I had the pleasure of working with Allison Leigh. I was dealing with Allison to select and order an air conditioner for my home. I gave Allison the wrong information for what air conditioner I wanted. We completed that order but when I started to look at the specs I realized I gave her the wrong info. When I called her to correct my error she was very helpful and understanding. She helped me to select the correct A/C. Allison Leigh did a super job helping me. She is great employee of Prisco. Everyone at Prisco is amazing, but Allison was the one to help me find and pick out my appliances for our new home. I was dreading the shopping and knew it would be costly, but Allison was very helpful and honest with what I would like and what would be great long term with staying in budget. The customer service at Prisco is amazing! I was taken care of by Allison Leigh and I have to say she was so helpful, knowledgeable and patient! I would go back here for any and all of my appliances!! The whole team was so pleasant and welcoming. They understand budgets and make things happen!
I had a great experience with Allison. I needed a new dishwasher delivered asap and she made it happen within 2 days. She gave me her cell phone number to make the transaction easier so I could work with her after hours, she even reached out on her day off. Highly recommend Allison!!!!

Allison helped me buy appliances for a remodel of our galley kitchen. The space is tight and required some thought. A week before the contractor was to begin the pandemic hit and everything stopped. We weren’t able to start until a year later. She’s been a godsend. The disruption in the supply chain meant several of the items we ordered were no longer available. She worked diligently to make sure we had replacement items that fit in the space. I don’t know how we would have done it without her.
I have bought appliances here for many homes, including my own house when I was in a pinch for a malfunctioning dishwasher. Allison came through for me quickly, hassle free! Whether its appliances for a top of the line kitchen or a kitchen on a budget, Allison will help you find what you need!
I needed a specific appliance. I called several different appliance stores. More times than not when I inquired about the item I seemed to be more of a bother than a potential customer. One place finally said they had the item in stock but when I got there they said they didnt know who I spoke to but it might have been a mistake because they had no such item. It was a 24 inch appliance. They did a bait and switch and actually tried to sell me on a 30-inch appliance -not even a different manufacturer but a different size! When I called Prisco appliance a gentleman picked up and when I told him what I was looking for he gave me a reps number to call which I assumed was another extension in the store. I spoke to an Allison and it turned out to be her cell phone. I got her on her day off. When I told her what I was looking for she said she wasnt sure and shed have to research the item for me. She insisted on going to the store to do so on site and do a physical inventory check as well. I did not expect that! She called me when she got to the store and went over the info again and she was not finding it right away on her computer and she said it might take a few minutes so rather than keep me on hold she asked if it would be okay to call me back. Of course I agreed but many times you dont get calls back especially if they dont have your product. Within 15 minutes she called me back after digging out the last item I was looking for that was in their inventory. She made my day. I really needed that appliance and I needed it quickly. I made my way over to the store and she waited for me for almost an hour until I was able to get there. Once I did and she provided me with the paperwork she made sure I was loaded up and on my way before she left for what was left of her day off. Many times customer service is just a department name with an extension, a common misnomer, but in this case Allison exemplified professionalism and and dedication to her job and what customer service should be all about. Because of her Prisco has a customer for life. Thank you Allison !
Prisco in White Plains is great! Especially Allison Leigh- I definitely recommend scheduling a consultation with her when looking for appliances. I just bought an air conditioner and she was incredibly helpful. The 5 star option isn’t enough to show how great she was. Very happy with my purchase thanks to her.
Thank you Allison!! This was a very easy experience. I had to replace my garbage compactor and I was having such a hard time. I stopped in Prisco completely overwhelmed and Allison was there. She found me the perfect match and it was delivered within a week. I would highly recommend Prisco!!
Incredible experience! I had been working with another appliance store for over three weeks to simply get an estimate which required on-site measurements. Within hours of my first call Allison had an inspector at my home, provided an estimate, and made the sale! Additionally, she found time to apply three distinct rebates and discounts. She also made me feel welcomed as new resident to the community and was very appreciative of my 27 years of active military service (very pro-veteran culture). My confidence in Prisco Appliance could not be higher and it is because of the diligence and initiative of managers like Allison.
After round 2 of purchasing higher end appliances at Priscos during the pandemic (October 2020 and May 2021) - I have to state that everything was delivered pretty much on time (even a highly coveted fridge.) Prices were also very competitive! Their delivery team is ridiculously careful and really went the extra mile for us.Priscos offers a really great depth of choices from all the better national brands. I would do your homework BEFORE shopping here as sales staff may not be 100% on all features of each appliance... I have no isues with that as I am an educated consumer. Shop elsewhere, read and research your needed features - and then make this your last stop when ready to purchase.
RUN! Dont walk... RUN to any other appliance store. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money ANYWHERE else. While we were happy to save nearly $800 on our $7,500 appliance order, the aggravation and delays we experienced were far worse. No communication - Allison was rude and impatient and overall completely unhelpful. This has been, by far, the worst customer experience Ive ever had.
Went to Prisco, Friday, May 21, 2021 to order an air conditioner for the living room. Was asked if I wanted delivery Tuesday or Wednesday, I answered Tuesday. Prisco called Monday to confirm delivery on Tuesday between 8 am - 10 am. Worker called at 8:27 to confirm their arrival about 15 minutes. The main worker, Chris was professional, superb and knew his craft. I would highly recommend Prisco, and I am extremely happy with their work & service.
We ordered several times over the last few years from Prisco and are very happy with them. The prices are very good, the delivery estimates are accurate and the Prisco delivery team is very friendly. Last year we ordered a dishwasher from an online discount retailer and that proved to be a mistake. The price was excellent, however it took forever to get the unit and once it arrived it was damaged. Lesson learned.
My experience with buying a washing machine at Prisco was outstanding thus far! Nick was incredibly helpful and took the angst out of buying an appliance. The process was quick easy and efficient. The price was competitive and the service thus far was exceptional. I will definitely be buying all future appliance from Prisco, and have already recommended them to all of my coworkers!
We had purchased from Prisco some years ago and had a positive experience, so it was an easy decision to purchase from them again. From start to finish, buying my new washer was a stressless experience. The only stress was deciding which washer. Fabio was very helpful, giving me information about the washer that interested me. After I made my decision, I changed it... womans prerogative. Nothing had been ordered, so all was good. We placed our order and were asked when we wanted it delivered, our choice in day. That was nice. We received a call the night before regarding delivery. The new washer arrived, was placed where we wanted, and old washer removed. We were happy with everything! Prices were right, sales was helpful not pushy, and deliveryman got the job done without a hitch.
Really bad experience here. We bought appliances, they were delivered, albeit with issues (wrong ones, scratched). However, Prisco did not install them even though we paid for installation. They do not return calls, dont answer warranty calls either.Look elsewhere. Go to Costco or something. Anywhere but here!
Just ordered a new washer and dryer from Allison at prisco appliances, did my research online to pick the units I wanted, Allison answered all of my questions and within 10 minutes I had ordered my new washer and dryer from the comfort of my home. Thanks Allison for the professional and friendly service.
I bought an Air Conditioner from Prisco’s recently to be installed in a wall. They sent excellent techs who were on time amd knew what they were doing. Everything went as promised and everyone involved was pleasant and easy to deal with. My salesperson Allison was knowledgeable and helpful,. A good experience and they were better on price and warranty value than all competitors I checked with.
Mario was so helpful in trying to help me find a new gas range. We were very limited due to the shortages and I needed something in stock right away. He had 2 units delivered to store for me to physically see and even offered to sell me a floor model. Very accommodating!
Allison was amazing to work with. She was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything in detail. She was able to answer all my questions and I could tell she has a passion for what she does. I purchased 2 air conditioners and a stove and delivery was scheduled at my convenience. I was extremely satisfied with my experience with Prisco Applicance. My first contact was with the Rep, Brian, whom remained in contact with me throughout the selection of items to the delivery. Nick, the owner, followed up asking all the right questions so I would receive the correct products for my home. I didnt realize propane & natural gas require different connections. The delivery guys were professional and helpful. Great experience!! Thanks guys!
My favorite local appliance store, over the years I keep coming back not only for the selection, prices but in particular because of the service and follow up.A case in point - Allison Leigh, she is a goddess! Despite all my keen Internet research about appliances, she pointed out that the stackable dryer I had researched and thought to buy to replace my old model would not sit on top of the perfectly working washer I already had. Save me a lot of heartache and probably money as well.She, like all of the Prisco sales staff from whom I have purchased over the years, is cheerful and knowledgeable.I love to support local businesses, and Prisco is a perfect example.
Was a little worried when they wanted to deliver between 6-7am. The delivery team was wonderful, very professional and knowledgeable and they went above and beyond to ensure the fridgerator was installed correctly with no damage.We would definately use PRISCO Appliance and Electronics again.I would not hesitate!! Fabulous!! Allison was a pleasure to deal with I would recommend her for sales.
After a hiccup with my initial delivery date, I was placed on the delivery list for the following day. The window of delivery was longer than I thought but once the team came to install the new appliance, it was done more professionally than my expectations were. The two man crew pulled no stops at the installation of my dishwasher. They leveled the dishwasher, ran it quickly to clean the inside before I used it, AND cleaned up after themselves. They were extremely friendly and answered all of my questions about the machine. I also received a phone call from Nick, one of the owners, thanking me for our business and extended the invitation for further business should I need something else in the future.My only issue was the manner in which deliveries are scheduled. But it was quickly rectified in my favor and the wait was worth it.
Prisco always delivers! Weve been buying appliances from Prisco for years. This time we tried to see what better alternatives we could find online. Try as we did, in the end we knew that we just had to stop in at Prisco to see what they had and what could be done. Allison was terrific! They immediately listened to what we needed, understood that our budget was limited, and sold us a premium stove at a fantastic price. We wont be going anywhere else!!
After having a horribly awful experience with Home Depot appliance orders (delays and no shows and rescheduling deliveries that were delayed yet again) our contractor referred us to Prisco. I arrived at their NY location optimistic but skeptical after dealing with Home Depot’s incompetence. A nice gentleman in the store behind his desk greeted me and asked if I needed any help. So refreshing to walk into a store that actually cares when customers arrive! I then met with Allison who efficiently showed me exactly the models of dishwashers and refrigerators that I was looking for. Even though it was 5pm I stated that due to delays of the other retailer I really wanted these appliances delivered ASAP. They checked their stock inventory and immediately informed me what items were available and said normally it takes a couple of days to schedule delivery but since I was so stressed out could deliver everything the next day! And they did! Which is unheard of! I highly recommend Prisco. They have amazing service, awesome products and accommodate their customers!! Their delivery team was also professional and courteous. I’m definitely going back there to buy an outdoor grill for my husband in the spring. I won’t buy appliances anywhere else. They are wonderful. I would give them 100 stars if I could! Thank you to Allison and Prisco and the other employees in the store!
Chris was amazing. He quickly found my invoice and gave me the service contacts. It was painless and easy to schedule an appointment for service. Thankfully Nick stressed that I take out the extended warranty, even though I was skeptical. He said they just don’t make things like they used to, Boy was he right. I have been a 20 year customer and have purchased all my appliances for multiple properties. Not only do they have the best prices but they now have excellent service!!!
Very easy to deal with when spending money. Nick was friendly. I had a warranty issue where parts had to be ordered. I gave my list over and over again. People were quitting the service department. I never did get my parts. Nick stepped in several times. One time he gave me a so called speed queen service company. Speed queen didnt know who they were. My machine parts went out of warranty while trying to get the from Prisco. Unfortunately I had to go to the place where I bought the machines to get them under the warranty. Just hope you never need parts or service from them. I was left in the dark with no information. Im sorry I bought the machines there.
From beginning to end, our experience at Prisco was fantastic. The moment we walked in, we were welcomed with beautiful appliances with a number of brands to choose from. Fabio approached us and asked if he could assist with anything. From there he sat us down and asked what we were looking for. As a first time home buyer, this process was a little intimidating and overwhelming. He helped us piece together our dream kitchen with print outs and guidance the entire way. He goes above and beyond to explain every detail of each appliance and even went so far as to pull a fridge out from a display to show us the true depth - a wonderful act of customer service. His follow up was thorough and made sure fully execute the transaction by even setting up our delivery. I highly recommend Prisco Appliance and be sure to ask for Fabio during your visit! You wont be disappointed. Thank you Prisco and thank you Fabio for all of your amazing help!
Dropped off a dehumidifier early Sept, 2020 for repair. Paid the $79 fee upfront. Started calling for updates every few weeks, was told they didnt have the part they thought needed to be fixed. Eventually went back in Jan, 2021 to say give it back, forget it. Apparently it was ready in Dec but no one bothered to call. Plus only noticed after I was home, the drainage tube is missing, which was with it when dropped off. 4 months for a simple repair - missing a critical part upon return... did not offer any type of discount for the wait, store credit, NOTHING. Only an apology. I do not recommend them for repairs. Never returning.
I have been a customer of Prisco Appliance for 15+ years. Nick has always guided me to an appliance to meet my needs, and within my budget He takes the time to get to know his customers and personalizes each purchase. In addition, the installation team is exceptional. Without hesitation I recommend Nick and his team at Prisco Appliance, you won’t be disappointed!!
I had just gone through a lot of hassle with Home Depot trying to get a refrigerator and microwave delivered at a reasonable time, and ended up having to cancel the order on short notice and go a different direction.I called Prisco and Nick was extremely helpful. We let him know the model number of the fridge we wanted, and he found a near-identical unit in another brand that he had in stock and could deliver the same day at our convenience. When it was delivered, I realized the color was not what I expected on the sides (no fault of the store here - I didnt check!) and they immediately found me an alternative which worked perfectly and was delivered the next day. They also worked with us on the price, and the total cost ended up being less than from Home Depot for better appliances!Delivery crew was very helpful, fast, and efficient and delivered the appliances to our office with no issues. I would highly recommend Prisco for anyone who needs an appliance in lower Westchester.
Bought a refrig from them in Dec. 2020 I was told there was a crack in the lid of the deli tray but they would see I get a new one. To date & after numerous calls & even speaking to the owner Nick I still do not have this new lid. Nick the owner was nice at first now won’t get on the phone. His commercials are a fraud he says you can talk to me anytime lie! Stay away from Pricsco appliance worse place ever!
Prisco Appliances is the best place to shop , The Price is right, customer service is outstanding, spot on, Recently we purchased kitchen appliances , they promised delivery and they came on time record , very fast, The delivery guys was excellent, , even was a Rainy day, they took good care not to damage any thing.... NIck is the best ever , He was very nice and patient , took time to explain things one by one as we asked him, the prices are the best , I highly recommend this store to everyone want to shop, delivery was in 2 days for 6 appliances , (top of the Line) Nobody Can beat them. We had a great experience with Nick and the Prisco team. We purchased a stove, dishwasher, and Samsung TV. Everything was delivered and installed in a timely fashion. They are easy to get in touch with and up front about the process. Would recommend to anyone and we will be back for future purchases.
We have been Prisco customers since 1978, their beginnings as a much smaller store on Mamaroneck Ave. During our 40 years of marriage, we have purchased all our appliances solely from Prisco. Nick and his staff are professional, caring and honest in their dealings with us. Earlier we purchased Speed Queen washer and drier. The washer was problematic, and after a series of repairs, Speed Queen replaced it with a newer model. Prisco called us and exchanged the washers. There are many electronics and appliance stores, but we recommend Prisco very highly.
UPDATED 8/2018After seeing my review, the manager/owner of Prisco contacted me to resolve my complaint. He listened to the issues we had experienced with the microwave we purchased, quickly sent over three ideas for alternates, and said we should come into the store to see them to ensure they would be satisfactory. While we have not taken action yet, I do believe he would have ensured that we got the right replacement for our needs.ORIGINAL POSTI needed to replace a microwave so I called Prisco as my family has bought from them for years...including a 32-unit group purchase of air conditioners I arranged a decade ago. Well, either they have changed hands or they have entirely lost any concern for customer service, for I had an abominable experience with them.In response to an inquiry about over-the-range microwaves, they emailed me and told me to buy one specific unit. I asked for some options to consider and they initially sent me options they didnt have. Then they sent me different options that required venting outside, which isnt possible with my kitchen, as I had specified up front.I said I would come into the store but they told me not to bother and said there was really only one model they recommended for my kitchen, given the specs and pictures I sent. I bought the microwave they suggested and paid a hefty fee for installation. Upon first use, I found that the door handle heats up extremely hot when the stovetop is used beneath it. I got a first degree burn on my hand from the handle, despite using it properly with the fan on as suggested, all from one tiny pot and a single burner being used beneath.I called back, explained the situation, and asked to exchange for another model with a different type of door/handle. They treated me with condescension, suggesting that the issue I described was impossible.Then, they told me to come into the store to talk to the manager, Nick. I took an hour out of my day, hired a sitter, and drove to the store, only to have Nick tell me - in a single sentence- that hed have to come see it.Really? You couldnt tell me that over the phone??Then I asked to see alternate options while I was in the store, and they just pointed to all the microwaves and left me alone. The THREE salespeople in the store had ZERO other customers at the time, but couldnt be bothered to stop their personal conversations to show me a single microwave, nor to even discuss my issue. Clearly they had no intention of trying to ensure my situation was rectified.I called the next day, as they asked, and made an appointment for them to come see my unit.They specified a day and time range, and then no-showed and didnt call me. I called back, and they said they would call me by end of day to reschedule. No calls back, ever. So Im stuck with an over the stove microwave that I can only use when I am not cooking on the stove beneath it. Every cooks dream, right?Clearly customer service is not part of their motto anymore. Ill never use them again and suggest you find a reputable dealer who cares about customer satisfaction.
3 stars. Delivery was painful.The Prisco website said that they would do delivery, but after placing the order, they called us 3 times asking each time if WE could drive to the store in White Plains and pick it up, and then said that otherwise it would be delayed by an extra two days.I get that theyre probably making the transition to doing more business online like everyone else during Covid, but maybe make this required flexibility with delivery more visible on the website.More concerning: the delivery person didnt wear a mask and made us sign a form anyway. Put a mask on, please, if youre going to require face-to-face contact as part of your business.
Allison Leigh was our salesperson today. She was everything one would expect in a salesperson. She was friendly, professional, helpful and knowledgeable. We were first-time customers and because of Allison and the wonderful experience we had...we can definitely say we will be repeat customers! Thank you very much!
We recommend Prisco for your appliance needs. Allie, our sales rep, is particularly recommended! Shes fun, helpful, and led us in a great direction for which appliances (refrigerator, range, microwave, and dishwasher) to buy and with a great deal to boot. As people in our 30s who are used to buying a lot of stuff on the internet, we didnt understand before the purchase how much value we would get out of buying our appliances in person and at a specialized store like Prisco rather than a Best Buy, Home Depot, etc. Go to Prisco!
What can I say, when I want to talk to the owner, Nick Prisco is always at his store. He always has a friendly smile and treats his customers like family. Pricing and knowledge are both equally important, when.i purchase. Nick Prisco, provides the service that i need and he is always available to.answer my questions. Prisco Appliances are my first choice.
Have been buying appliances from Prisco ever since they first opened up on Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains. Always get a good deal, fast delivery and, if there is ever a problem, they are local and you can just go in and work it out. I tried buying from other places cause the price was less but I just cannot deal with dialing an 800 number and getting nowhere.Nick and his team are right there, in person and they want to do the right thing. But let me just say that I have NEVER had a problem with anything that I have purchased there. I cant say thats true for appliances Ive purchased elsewhere.Believe me, I was recently burned by Sears on a refrigerator. I will not make that same mistake twice. I will turn to Nick at Prisco, the local guy, every time.
Allison is AMAZING!!!! We should all just call her Amazing Allison because she is. After going through the hell of dealing with Sears to buy a refrigerator - what was I thinking?!? - I wisely called Priscos. Luck was in my favor when Allison answered the phone. Within ten minutes, she had found me EXACTLY what I was looking for. And it was a better refrigerator . Much better than what Sears and the other Big Box stores had given me the run around on AND were over priced on. She is a MIRACLE WORKER. And even better, the refrigerator is coming within 48 HOURS!!! And before noon because I have to drive 2 hours to a wedding tomorrow afternoon. Talk about personal and excellent and caring customer service. I ADORE ALLISON. We are getting a better refrigerator than we would have gotten, at an incredible price and it was easy, fun, and friendly to do it. Now what else do I need to buy?? Hmmm....
Competitive prices for quality products with a team that are great at selling and installing. Ive recommended them to friends and neighbors alike for the past 2o years. With that said, weve only had one problem with an clunky AC unit, a small enough problem to remedy. Sadly Prisco has totally screwed this up, drawn it out, provided some of the poorest service Ive received in recent history.Folks, if you sell something but cant commit to servicing it then become an online business and set the right expectations along with every miserable big box scam artist.From this point on i stop recommending Prisco.
Horrible experience: if you value your time and appreciate good service, then DO NOT go to Prisco’s.Bought two A/C units from Allison – wanted two more a couple weeks later – I needed them right away and called Allison last Thursday – she said they weren’t in stock but she could get them on Friday (the next day) and that she would give me a discount (I mentioned PC Richards had them in stock and I could just go get them that day) so I figured I could wait one day and it would be worth the discount – BIG MISTAKE.I bought the units over the phone and planned to pick them up the next afternoon (Friday).She texted me later that day and said she won’t have the 12k unit on Friday, but she’ll have the 8k (said she would now have the 12k unit on Saturday).I went to get the 8k unit on Friday and she assured me they would have the 12k unit on Saturday – she said they would let me know once it’s in. No word at all. I was waiting and no word. We went out and were close to the store around 1:30 pm on Saturday so I called to check if they had the unit yet – she said she was out and Nick was out and Nick won’t be back for 2 hours (what? No one was in the store who could check when I called?). So I went home and waited. No word. It came close to the end of the day and I called again – no answer. She finally texted back- “call Nick.” Seriously? You told me you would let me know when it came in (after already breaking two promises about when this would be in already, the prior two days!!) and now you want me to track down Nick to find out if the unit is in?!I’m sure you get the picture and know how this ends…but I’ll tell you anyway: she texts me later that she talked to Nick and “asked him to call me twice” and “the unit didn’t make the truck.”So I had already asked her to cancel the order and issue a refund.I go to PC Richards and get the unit I want that evening – I was in and out in 10 minutes and they sold it to me for less than the “discounted” price at Prisco. Easy / efficient / satisfying experience.I reach out to Allison on Monday to check on the refund and she says “I’ll do it tomorrow”No word of course the next day (which is today). I reach out to her and she asks for the credit card info (to send it to her). We call her – she doesn’t pick up – I asked her to call my wife (who has the credit card info) and Allison does not.And now she is saying she held off on the refund because she thought she could get the unit – what? I told you I already got it elsewhere on Saturday.Oh, and on Saturday she said she could have the unit on Monday, and on Monday she said she could have it on Tuesday.Unbelievably frustrating experience. I do not recommend Prisco – in fact, just the opposite, I will avoid this place at all costs – service for me was horrible and they clearly do not value me, as a customer, or my time.EDIT: Spoke with Allison the day after I wrote this and she issued the refund right away, and let me be clear - I never thought they would not issue me a refund - nor did I think they were dodging me to prolong issuing a refund. On the contrary, Allison would respond to me after I followed up with her each time - my issues were having to follow up so much myself and not fulfilling promised delivery dates (repeatedly). Also note, that when I called Allison back that day, Nick asked to speak with me and he was very gracious and seemed genuinely apologetic, which I appreciated. For this, Ill add one star to my original review to bring it to a total of two stars.
Hi highly recommend Prisco appliance. Nick and his team were great. I shopped around and there prices were better than others. More importantly they delivered and installed everything in a professional and timely manner. Great place to work with!!! 5 star all the way!!
Great place to go purchase major appliances from. Nick is very knowledgeable and his delivery personnel were amonst the most caring and handled my item better than any brick and mortar store. They made sure they did not damage anything in my house. Unlike other big name stores. Must go to Prisco appliances and see for your self
I worked with Allison and couldnt be happier. She was knowledgeable; explained things to me that never even occurred to me, and gave me the feeling that she really knows her profession. Shes fun to work with, and Im looking forward to doing my next renovation with her.
HOW TO REMOVE AN ICE MAKER:1) Unplug the unit.2) You dont even need a 1/4 inch nut driver, you can simply use PLIERS to UNSCREW/LOOSEN THE NUTS, then lift UP the ice maker, and then appropriately pull it out by unhooking the plastic fasteners off of the nuts/screws.3) Then, simply unplug the water inlet by lifting up the flaps that hook in.CONGRATULATIONS! YOUVE SAVED $150! ...and youve saved: 4+ phone calls, insulting salesman treatment/information obfuscation, and disbelief at the lack of valued customer satisfaction when interacting with the between the sales team, the servicemen team, and the phone clerk. Just Google how to remove an ice maker for general reference, it seems just about the same in all refrigerators. Its not as complicated as you think, and its not as risky as you think....They attempted to convince a 90 year old woman that it will cost $150+ to take out an ice maker... instead of leaving you a long review on how dissatisfied we actually were, Im figured Id teach you how to save $150+ and the same levels of stress that me and my family were put through.The initial salesman was informed that we wanted it removed, the servicemen that were here were informed upon installation that we wanted it removed, and the clerk on the phone (less than 30 days from installation despite the stipulation that was raised at first on the phone) was also informed. Didnt matter. They want your money, at the cost of amoral treatment. Scam-like behavior. I dont like it one bit, I dont support it, and neither should you.
Ordered a grill and paid for it. Was told last Saturday delivery. They never showed up and never called us to say why. So eventually we called them and they said it never made it on the truck. No apologies.Several phone calls later and they finally just delivered our grill. Guess what? They forgot the cover. They didnt forget to charge $80 for the cover, though! So I called the receptionist (who is incredibly rude) and she said they will come back with it. No apologies.Maybe they will, maybe not. Maybe next week, maybe in a month--not likely today, though, based on my experience with their customer service.
The Google reviews are not real. They must have bought those reviews. See the Yelp reviews from REAL customers instead! PRISCO IS THE WORST APPLIANCE STORE IN WESTCHESTER!!! Do not go to this establishment! The owner takes your deposit and uses it to purchase the appliance for people who were waiting for their appliance before you. Its like a Ponzi scheme. Do yourself a favor and go to Best Buy. They are so much better and stand behind the products they sell!
A very pleasant experience, sales staff were not pushy and in your face. Passed the place many of times never going in, I was out with my wife one day and we were in the market for a dishwasher, we decided to have a look and glad we did. I will be going back to Prisco Appliances whenever I have need a BBQ grill, TV, appliance, etc.....
Crooks. I bought a TV there, paid for installation. They initially wanted to charge me $750 and when I told him Verizon was already set up he dropped it suddenly to $500. That should have been his initial question, no? He told me it was a big job because the installation guy was a pro and he could make sure that the set top box was hidden and it would take a while but look great. I showed him pictures of the wall on which I wanted the TV mounted. He assured me no problem, it would get done. I should have smelled a rat when he dropped he price from $750. Anyway the installation guy comes around, first thing I do is confirm he will hide the box. Im just here to mount the TV, not hide the box. He installs it within an hour then fiddles around for 30 minutes because he cant figure out how to get sound of the Verizon box, apparently hed never worked with Verizon. I called Nick Prisco to ask what he planned to do about my box not hidden, at least give me some money back. He is MIA. I call the next day and the next and the next and finally catch him. He tells me he will check with the installation guy. Never calls me back. I call twice, get him again, he says he will sort and call me back. Guess what? Phone lines must be dead in Tarrytown.At least pay me the courtesy of telling me to f*** off. I know Best Buy gets a lot of stick, but I will never go back and hope they go under for heir shoddy practices. I realize its buyer beware and I was too trusting (or stupid or rushed), but nevertheless its because of guys like this that one has to be suspicious in the first place.
I ordered a microwave and had it delivered in a reasonable manner.I was charged $50 for a filter that should have been included in the price or been charged $5 for.It was the wrong filter, so I called to ask for the right one.Nick said he would send it. I am still waiting after 6 months and 3 followup calls.
If I cannot give a star I would not and after spending so much money you think someone would call and ask how everything is going I was better off not spending $7000 on an air conditioner I’m hotter now than without having nothing four times I have called to speak to the owner has not returned any of my calls I would never recommend them for anything You are better off going to Chinatown and getting appliances it’s cheaper and the service is probably better
Bought a 65 inch samsung tv for a great price, delivered on time and Nick was great in the sales process from beginning to end, my good friend just bought a brand new stove and conventional oven on my referral and everything was also great, good people good vibe, great experience
The best place to shop for appliances , great staff they are so professional and experienced . The prices are amazing I sent many of my friends and they all loved what they bought I wil only go there and they sell TVs furniture and mattresses as well lower than all the big box stores !!! These people are crooks...brought a fridge there and the doors were uneven. Its been 2 weeks and they still have yet to come fix the doors on the fridge. The owner hung phone up on my dad when he called to ask when they were coming to fix doors....never againBtw his name is nick

2022-07-04On May 7, 2022 I visited Prisco Appliance store in Greenburgh (White Plains, NY) to purchase a specific size refrigerator, which had to fit into a custom cabinet in my kitchen.From my first phone call to my in-store visit, I was extremely satisfied with the quality customer service, the reasonable price and the valuable purchase tips I received from Mario.My refrigerator was delivered on the date it was promised, with no dings, dents or defects. The delivery person was courteous and very professional. He even switched the door from right to left when I forgot to indicate which direction, I wanted it.After going to Home Depot and other retail stores before making this purchase, what makes Prisco stand out is their outstanding one-on-one customer service. I love my new Frigidaire stainless steel refrigerator. Two months after purchase it works beautifully. It’s very quiet, cold, easy to clean, and I have no complaints.

2022-03-03I just purchased two items from Prisco Appliance - a clothes dryer and a dehumidifier. Mario Prisco was extremely attentive and knowledgeable, providing me with options and answering questions. The prices were extremely reasonable and competitive. After I selected the items, they were delivered and installed two days later. There was no delivery fee in White Plains. Chris and his partner were professional and did an excellent job installing the items and removing the old ones.I give Prisco a five star rating..

We went in having other appliances in mind, and she explained why the ones we purchased would work better for what we were describing. I loved her quote, I have been living in a refrigerator for over 15 years. I know what you need! Easiest experience ever and peace of mind going to an independent shop versus a big box store.

2022-06-18I purchased a fridge from Prisco Appliances through their salesperson Allison. She was knowledgeable and responsive. She was able to get the model of refrigerator for my mother at a fair price quickly and got it delivered on my schedule. The installers called me and let me know their eta, took their time to do the job and even pointed out that the old fridge had been a potential fire hazard. Allison even put on the receipt to make sure to treat us like VIPs. Thanks Allison.

2022-04-10Mario Prisco was wonderful from start to finish. I had ordered a fridge that was too large and had to go back to Home Depot. Because of the supply delays, I didnt want to wait another 3 months for a new fridge. I found Prisco Appliance and Electronics online. Mario helped me find a replacement counter-depth fridge which was available for delivery only 2 days later. The delivery and all aspects of service were exceptional. I would recommend Prisco highly to anyone in need of appliances.

2021-10-20Great customer service! I called prior to ordering my appliances and was fortunate to get Mario on the phone. He was knowledgeable about what appliances would work best in my small kitchen all the while staying within my budget. After discussing several options I decided to follow up in person and order my appliances. I was very appreciative when Mario found a stainless steel washer/dryer in one unit (hard to come buy due to the measurements). Once again, the customer service and team at Prisco helped make my experience a great one. This morning, I am pleased to share my appliances arrived on time and look great! 2022-05-08Horrible and unprofessional service on a refrigerator purchase at Prisco. They don’t seem to be able to support or install higher end brands. Refrigerator came with no door handles , had to take another day off for installation, 7 days later handles came off both refrigerator and freezer . Husband had to call after my several attempts to get an appointment Was told to open door from top of fridge . Handles can off again second time and no help from store. I was transferred to a service company and given an appointment 1 month later ( w no use of refrigerator ) can not open .

2022-02-21Went in to get a out the door price for a speed queen washer, to compare against other local appliance shops. Sales rep was helpful but I did not want to give my money to this business as I felt like I wasn’t being taken serious and got some obvious stares when I walked in. Also, sales rep answered a phone call mid conversation which was unprofessional. Ended up getting my Speed Queen at Royal Green Appliance in White Plains for 205 dollars less and better shopping experience.

2021-07-28I was shopping for an in-wall sleeved A/C unit for one of my shareholders in a building I manage, and chose Prisco Appliance, not only on relative location to the property, but also by recommendations.My sales associate, Allison Leigh, was absolutely fantastic! She took the time to review my needs, and was very thorough in gathering the necessary information to determine the right unit for the room it was to be installed in. Allison was very knowledgeable about the product, and knew what information was necessary in order to size the right unit. In addition, Allisons communications with me to obtain this information was exceptional!She is true asset to Prisco Appliance and deserves recognition for her Sales and Customer Service!I would definitely buy from them again.
