.DETAILED STORY TIME ALERT.SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. Go to Lowe’s! The customer service at this Home Depot is worse than the Department of Motor Vehicles. On May 17th, 2020, my father and I purchased 13pc of Panel Fencing at a price of $50 a unit. When we arrived at Home Depot, we waited on line with the rest of the customers, upon gaining entry, we knew what we needed and since obviously they did not have 13 panels of the selected fence on the floor we requested DIRECTLY with a customer representative, that we require 13 panels and that we wanted to rent the Home Depot rentable Pickup truck and needed them to put them directly on the truck. Please be advised we are Pro Members and spend consistently at Home Depot. At this point the time is 8:45am, we signed the paperwork for the rental, following that we again asked the Pro Services desk for an eta on when they can get the panels down, they advised it will take a “little while”. As the time passed we inquired again. Same answer, “little while”. And after another 30-40 minutes we asked again, same answer, “little while”. Finally, after asking the same customer service representative for the FOURTH time, he brought the pallet out with a forklift and placed it on the pickup vehicle. Once they were placed, my father counted them just to be sure and advised the representative that there were extra, THE HOME DEPOT EMPLOYEE put 18 panels on the pickup truck. When my father advised that they put extra, the employee said they cant touch it anymore, despite the fact that we didnt even pay for the extra 5 panels. WE HAVE RECEIPTS SHOWING THAT WE ONLY PAID FOR 13. Once my father began arguing that the Home Depot Employee MUST help us take them off becuase obviously it’s HIS fault they’re on the truck in the first place, because he didn’t count, because he’s negligent, and because he’s incompetent. Then the employee said quote, “I don’t give a F@&k, do it yourself” and took the other home depot helper back with him, so even by not paying for them we had to take 5 pieces by hand without gloves off the RENTED PICKUP TRUCK. If anyone from your company would like to speak with us regarding this obscene behavior please feel free to reach out, we are Pro Members and have never felt more motivated to give Lowe’s our well deserved business. Nevertheless, we’d like to make it crystal clear if this employee is not handled or this situation is not pursued, we’ll be moving to close out our Pro Account, and return the $300 Extendable Ladder we purchased today on our Amex Card. I didn’t even mention how the rental lady gave us a rental with less than a full tank and expected it back with a full tank, this is America, ladies and gentlemen, if the business doesn’t treat you right, take your money and support a more deserving staff, clearly Lowe’s focuses a LOT more on Customer Service Training.Disclaimer: In accordance to Google Review Terms and Conditions, I made abundantly sure to not include the incompetent, disrespectful, undeserving employee’s name so that HOME DEPOT cannot move to strike this review.
