Professional Gynecological Services in other cities:
The quality of healthcare provided by the doctors at this facility is actually pretty good, despite the other reviews. The service is less to be desired. If your only option for women’s health care is this facility it’s not THE MOST TERRIBLE facility to end up at. The only drawback is that you must prepare yourself for at least a 1 hour wait (after your scheduled appointment time)to be seen; and another hour or so to go through the process of a gynaecological exam, especially if any additional diagnostic testing is needed. This facility does not provide efficient in and out service at all. If you’re mentally prepared for that, it’s bearable. If you make a 10AM appointment for instance; understand that most of your morning will be spent sitting in their waiting room. Maybe have breakfast before, if you’re not scheduled for any major procedures that require otherwise. Bring a good book, use the time to start that paper that’s due in two days. Discover a new hobby, knitting or hand embroidery perhaps.Don’t make any additional plans until after 12-1pm maybe. It seems like a waste of time and poor women deserve better, but with constant attacks on the availability of women’s health in other regions of the U.S. if this is what’s available, it’s better than nothing 🤷🏾♀️Best of luck ladies and theydies.
Great medical office, wonderful and warm experience from start. Appreciate Dr. Asya and Dr. Regina taking time to go over the diagnosis clearly and treatment options. Was referred over by my friend when I came to Newyork. All the staff is great and cooperative, over the phone and in the office too. Highly recommended.
Dr. Goldman is a Doll. Ive been seeing her well over 15 years. Most of the staff are nice and helpful... The floor/reception manager is rude/unprofessional and the phlebotomist that sits in the first desk is terrible... she never felt for a vein, she never tied my arm, she just stuck me.... missed the vein and went fishing in my arm for about 10 seconds before she could get a vein. She had the nerve to complain that not enough blood was coming out and the gall to say youre going to bruise, put some ice on your arm asap....its been a week since my visit and my arm is still purple.
Horrible, no compassion for patients (Doctors) receptionist are fine, the insurance girl rude and kept asking if I wanted to cancel not even giving me a chance to find the $250 I had to pay to b seen for 6secs. My appointment was for 9:30 I didn’t get seen until 11:15.
Location: 14 Dekalb Ave, Brooklyn, NYMy overall experience has been good. The entire staff makes me comfortable in that I haven’t had any negative encounters nor heard any other staff member handle situations unprofessionally. The only problem I have is the long wait before you can be seen but other than that I would recommend for prenatal care.Ericka Quezada (mid wife) has been absolutely amazing in providing me with total care.Dr. Halsey was straight forward with me when it was time to give birth. I followed her instructions and my delivery was smooth.Maddie is such a sweet heart, I am grateful to have met her.Professional Gynecological Services, you have PHENOMENAL women who take pride in what they do! Please give them their flowers while they’re here!!
Unprofessional, Inhumane, and rushed. One lady at the front desk got mad at me because THEY made a mistake on my date of birth (receptionist had to be comforted by other lazy, rude staff), nurses give different information to you, and they are entirely confused. Dr. Had me wait in the back room for over 30 minutes. They are no different from the workers at DMV.
I received horrible service at every visit. The staff and the physicians at this office are rude and very unprofessional. The staff at the front desk are rude and dismissive. The staff ignored my questions while pretending to be busy. The physicians were passive aggressive and did not take the time to listen to me or address any of my concerns. It took for me to come of character to be heard and get what I needed. I don’t know how they received a 4.2.If negative zero was an option that’s how I would rate them. Everyone here needs to be trained on how to deal with the public. No human being should be treated this way. Many women have made complaints and still no change or anyone being held accountable for such poor behavior. This entire experience took a toll on me mentally and physically.
My experience with you guys was awesome ! Office is really clean and workers are very friendly and welcoming. Doctors are very friendly and make you feel at home and I love that I can be open and ask questions about anything going on with my pregnancy. Definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for prenatal care they’re the best !
Lack of basic communication skills, unnecessarily Petty, and full of attitudes. I had an appointment for 2:00 for a covid test I arrived there early then scheduled I waited past 2:30 I waited past 2:30 when I questioned why I was waiting so long for just a covid test I was told that nothing happens overnight by the receptionist when I presented a covid test that I had prior I was told it was acceptable then I got to call later on that same day telling me that it wasnt. So when I went back for the second time I was a bit better because I had to leave work for the second time only for the receptionist to scold me ask to the fact that they were short-staffed and that they were waiting all day for Federal Express to bring them the covid test because they had none in the facility which was not my fault at all and had I been told that earlier in the day I would have saved myself the trip and possibly rescheduled. Sometimes when I go there I feel as if the patients they are being penalized for lack of staff and being confronted with attitudes and people who are short-tempered no one wants to be treated that way while were waiting for help that is why we are there. I have been going there for a few years now and I see the change in staff and with each change the service becomes worse
This place is decent. I’ve been coming here for the past several years and The biggest downfall I have is that I don’t think they are efficient. I come in for an appointment and constantly leave three hours later. The wait time is seriously outrageous. Either you’re waiting in the waiting area for hours and you’ll easily wait in the private room awaiting for a doctor to come in 30 min.. seriously can’t schedule anything in your day if your coming here lol… other than that everyone is friendly and the place is clean.
I have mixed emotions about this place. My first visit was the only visit that was pretty decent. I understand the restrictions and limitations that Covid has imposed all around but as a whole a-lot of things can go better. Communication with patients. More Staff in the right places so that people like myself arent waiting 3+ hours per visit way after the set appointment, because theres one doctor.. etc. The techs do not speak, they dont smile. Front desk full of life and smiles with each other but when it comes to guests.. attitudes and they rush you like you havent been waiting. Makes the visit uncomfortable. The saving grace is the one doctor that they do have( I really wished I remember her name It might be Natalie; ) is very kind and reassuring.P.s. Had a 12:00 appointment and literally went in at 2:45 to still wait in the back to be seen which was a next 20 minutes.
The most unprofessional doctors office I have ever been to. Besides the GYN doctor, the staff is extremely rude. Called to check on my HCG levels and the receptionist that answered seemed annoyed that she had to go out of her way and check for me. Not one to be picky about where I go and leave bad reviews, but this wasn’t the experience I was looking for with my first baby. Will never visit again.
Everyone who works here is so incredibly kind. I have had nothing but beautiful experiences. Every time I go in, I feel so safe. Destiny was particularly so helpful and patient! I highly recommend coming here for all of your reproductive system health needs. Its also fairly easy to get to by train, bus, or car.
It was my first time at this practice.. I felt completely comfortable with everyone who works here. The front desk woman was very polite & made sure I was seen right away. Asya Portnaya was the best provider I’ve seen in a very long time. She made sure all my questions were answered and really cared about what I was in for. The sonographer Toni was also very nice & gentle. I would definitely continue my care here!
This place is a house of horror. The physician assistant was very unprofessional and lack the proper knowledge to deal with my situation. She was totally preoccupied with her cell phone and did not take a proper patient history. In my humble opinion ,she is incompetent! The sonographer at the facility also lack the knowledge to read the transvaginal sonogram. Which in then lead to her sharing misinformation that lead to a misdiagnosis of my situation. Moreover, these people is more about gaining a FAT WALLET than effective patient care . I would not recommend this place to a dumb animal.
Honestly, one of the few places that have top notch customer service, quality of care & professionalism! Making an appointment was easy, lots of room with scheduling. Being there was nice not a long wait at all was in & out within an hour. The medical assistant I think her name was Jasmine was super friendly & personable! The doctor was nice as well! Overall a great experience!
I’ve been a patient with this office for about 8 years now. there used to be a wonderful GYN, I’m so sorry I didn’t get her name. bottom line, she cared about her work. there’s a new GYN there that I do not like. the staff is very rude as well. the only person that had any kind of human decency was the lady that performed my sonogram. this is a place i won’t ever return to for my future check ups.
Very average service. I didn’t get to see doctor , they gave me sort of assistant. She was ok , however , my issues was not resolved or helped , Keep in mind, all, even minor procedures or interventions- you will be send to their center in brooklyn which is inconvenient to say the least . I had to go back to my previous doctor next day and he really helped me a lot . That says to me - I just wasted my time a money at Professional gynecologist services .
It was my first time coming here, I’m not gonna lie when I was inside the waiting room I felt so anxious and lonely not because of how I actually alone but bc of what was to come when it was my turn but what can I say? I got myself in that situation I knew this decision was what I had to do was right for me anyways the doctors and everyone else did a good job on handling everything would recommend here if you need to get certain things done ✔️
I watched people come and go as I waited for a simple pregnancy test. What really did it for me was the nasty receptionist and when They called me to tell me my results the young lady was rude. She couldn’t answer any of my questions. She had an attitude and dismissed my concerns stating she don’t know what I spoke to with the doctor. I just remained pleasant thanked her.
My experience here has been very pleasant. All of the staff are phenomenal besides the Sono Tech who is there on Tuesdays. She is not personable at all. During my last visit I asked her for pictures of my sonogram and she placed one picture on the exam table instead of handing it directly to me. When I asked her “Do you only give one? She replied “Yes”. I even mentioned to her that the other tech gave multiple pictures and she seemed to not care at all. As a woman herself I think she should be more personable in the environment that she’s working in and especially since she is doing sonograms for mostly pregnant women. We are excited to see sonograms of our growing babies and should not have to meet with such a rude person.
I went there for a regular visit to check on my pregnancy. They performed an ultrasound. I was then walked to a different room and spoke to a DR. She sad I was further in my pregnancy and there were complications an I should be scheduled for an abortion. Which she seemed very eager for the person upstairs to do, the must get a cut in fees do scrap out females. I asked about other options she said know. I then said ok I will get a second opinion. Good thing I did!I ended up at my Doctors office in the hospital not a clinic, they performed an ultrasound twice as well to make sure, apparently I’m less weeks, the baby is fine an I have a follow up appointment.
Professional GYNs staff and doctors are absolutely wonderful. Their level of experience, knowledge, and professionalism makes their patients feel comfortable and secure, which is especially necessary when it comes to womens health. Im so glad I found their office and will surely recommend them to all of my friends!
I found the whole experience to be deeply sad. Sitting alone with blankets tied around us waiting for our procedures. It was a lonely feeling, almost dehumanizing (but I respond much more viscerally to situations than others, perhaps). I’d never been to a clinic that mainly does abortion procedures. I was getting a D&C for endometrial thickening. The staff was nice (but the woman who instructed us to undress and put our things in lockers was impatient with me, as if I should know the drill (perhaps like the others?) but I’d never gone through this before.Sitting in a rather cold setting with a thin robe and a blanket was pretty awful (but I realize this is the protocol). I didn’t know the whole protocol and I felt anxious and afraid. The procedure went smoothly and the operation staff was professional (I liked my nurse a lot-she was gentle and caring). The gynecologist performing the surgery also had a gentle demeanor, so I felt reassured. The post-procedure was not very comforting. I had terrible cramps and I wish the recovery staff had been more attentive and caring. Again I felt as if I were on my own and clueless as to what I was supposed to do. My recovery nurse did explain what I could and couldn’t do for the month but still I felt very alone and when I was dismissed, I took myself down to the elevator, as my family could not come up to get me. I cried a lot. The extreme bloating and swelling I felt for a week after was not explained post- or pre-procedure. It was alarming. But I’m much better now.I felt in good hands with the gynecologist. I had no problems post-procedure with any bleeding, etc.I truly hope I never have to go through this experience again. It was traumatic for me because I’d never gone through it and had no idea what to expect. I do wish all the other women well.
Staff is kind. Nurse Practitioner is great and friendly. The 3 stars is for the wait time. Extremely excessive doesnt even describe how bad the wait time is.. I was in there for a 5pm appointment, got there on time, 4 women ahead of me. They began calling in the women, as more women walked in I see no one coming back out. I wondered what they were doing to these women back there. A lady that came in after me got called ahead of me which really annoyed me. Here is the real kicker... a woman walked in and I hear the women at the desk say she is an hour late for her appointment. Ummmm well what nerve to even say that since the office and doctor were running an hour late as I didnt get called back until 6 pm! All in all I didnt leave until 715. 2 hours and 15 minutes for a doctors appointment is unacceptable. Maybe 1.5 hours but come on... over 2 hours? RIDICULOUS.
I have to say I’m always treated well and it is easy to get information ahead of time. To me it honestly makes going to gyn which is uncomfortable feel like a light hearted conversation. Reception, tech, and doctors all happy and energetic people despite the times. I appreciate how quick yet thorough it was. And I appreciate the protocol. Amazing staff.
I been coming here for years and I see different doctors very time I come for my appointments. Which I really dislike because you can’t build a relationship. Some of the physicians are very informative and caring and some are not. My recent experience was not great. The PA that saw me was not informative and barely explain anything to me and said to come back in 3 months. I will be looking for a different Gyn to continue my care.
I really like this place-- I love Dr. Halstead. The only reason I cant give this place 5 stars is because of the wait time. I have never been seen on time-- usually its at least an hour. Last visit my wait time was almost 2 hours. 2 hours wait time is A LOT to ask of your patients. Thats a movie. Thats two episodes of Game of Thrones. Thats two hours of sitting and waiting. I sometimes put off a visit because I cant afford to take the day off work because the wait times are so unreasonably long.I hope that theyre able to work to handle the volume of patients. Again, I really like the doctors here and I feel safe and taken care of which is SO IMPORTANT for an OBGYN. But please examine your wait times because its a LOT.
Wait times are RIDICULOUS. They are a high volume practice so this appointment plan your day around which is the annoying part most of the are staff is nice . You can tell some of them rush you in and out cause of the high patient volume. Ive been going to this practice for some time seeing different GYNs and Ive finally found someone I feel comfortable with . Dr. Sheelon is nothing short of amazing . She comes off genuine as a friend and def help me relieve my anxiety. First doctor I feel I can trust . She is conservative not pushing pills on you and tries Holistic options not like a regular gyn who shuns anything that is not pharmaceutical. She is funny too Im sticking with her for now if you come here go to her
The service of the doctor was great but having to wait 4 and 1/2 hrs to be seen is disgusting, just as I respected you’ll time and came on time as my appointment was scheduled, I would have wanted to be seen on my appointment time not come in at 2pm and left at 6:30pm that was unacceptable and this is an ongoing thing. I will not return, there must be something better that can be done.
I had a very good experience the last time I was there. 4 stars and not 5 only for the fact that I had to wait to see a doctor for over an hour.Dr. Natalie is absolutely amazing, she answered all of my questions, she took her time explaining everything, which I really liked. Sometimes you feel rushed because the doctors are always busy, but not this time. She has the softest hands, I barely felt anything. Worth the wait!
The doctors there are ok. Pretty decent. However the the front desk is one of the reasons I’m changing where I get my prenatal care at. They’re always a bit rude and they ignore you or don’t acknowledge you when you walk in. There’s one person in the front that’s nice but the rest of them I would like to avoid if possible. I don’t know I feel like your experience at a clinic should be more welcoming and warm. I should feel like I matter and that I’m not a nuisance.
The doctors and staff are friendly and nice. However, your appointment is never your appointment. For instance, if you’re scheduled for 2 pm you will not be seen for at least 2 hours. And sometimes once you get in the room the doctor won’t be available for another 30 mins to and hour. They’re always over booked and under staffed. But once you see the doctors they’re pretty good, attentive and never rushed.
Overall not an good experience at all for prenatal service. Staff are very Non informative and barely explain anything to you. Rather building relationships with prenatal patients you will see different staff and doctors every visit! Which i find very uncomfortable because they need to personally know your circumstances and situations not just by file. The administrative Maria is a joke she is very unprofessional and insensitive to any situation will be so quick to say your will be dismissed to cover up their mistakes from staffs lack of miscommunication informing patients wrong information and blame us. Rather apologize and make it right or work with you. Over disgusted with this experience. They need a major update!!! Go else where for prenatal care please!!!
I was waiting for an hour before someone called me in. Then she told me to get ready for a Pap test, but that wasn’t why I was there. Then she all confused did an ultrasound instead. And made me pay the copay (even though, I didn’t ask for the ultrasound) Then they made me wait for another 20 min.The doctor only spend 2 minutes on me, even though I was a new patient. She was professional and nice, but she didn’t introduced herself or made me feel welcome. She seemed a bit rushed. Before I left I had a lot of blood work done and was told to come back in a week. When I showed up the following week- same thing happened.Almost an hour of waiting, then a new ultrasound, copay and then finally called to the doctors office, and then she tells me that I didn’t have to be there, they had no results to share with me. She then called in one of the nurses in and criticised her in front of me. And asked me to return a week later. Now I have found a new obgyn.
Smh they had me going back and forth with them for nearly 3 months. I asked them numerous times if they take my insurance because I needed surgery they said yes and they lied. They milked my insurance for nearly 3 months for them say my insurance doesn’t covered for surgery. Smh I finally met the doctor after she done canceled 4 times and when I finally got to me her she was nasty just like some of the staff. She wouldn’t listen to me she was being rude and nasty towards me. What a waste of time I could’ve been searching for a new GYN, they play way too much games. 🤬
They had me sitting in the waiting area for an hour waiting to be seen! I have been going there for years and because I didn’t want to switch I stayed but they are always slow and it’s always a wait. The last time I was there I couldn’t give urine yet so they had five people come in and go before me then the doctor comes sauntering out of the back without a care in e world. I was livid!! And all of this after I had already paid my copay.. I’ve already found another GYN. I’m done with this place !
First time I went it was okay. Wait time was terrifying but I gave them the benefit of the doubt due to the sensitivity of my situation. Second time it was a bit better but when given results, I felt like I was lied to. I left and got a second opinion immediately because it felt like they were just money hungry at that point. My advice for women coming here but just in general is, listen to your body. You know yourself best so if a medical opinion doesn’t make sense, you have the right to get another opinion elsewhere. In addition, they had a nervous intern take my blood and even though I tried to reassure her it was okay, she only made me nervous and light headed by watching her. My arm hurts a lot because of all the poking and probing.I will say they do have a really friendly nurse named Susan she was very helpful.Overall, this place is just mentally draining and because of the special nature of the situations women come in for, I feel like they should strive to do the opposite.
Dr. Regina Kogan is AMAZING! she is so sweet and amazing and explains everything in perfect details! It is always such a pleasure to see her and she always answers all my questions in really good detail. She addresses all my concerns and makes my visits always so pleasant! Best doctor ever!
WARNING this is a LONG review!Ive been here quite a few times. While the office is well litt and very clean, the staff is honestly what makes this place unbearable. The staff at the front desk are very rude and have seriously bad attitudes. They dont even acknowledge you when you walk in. Some of them will just look down at papers or at the computer while youre waiting to be called. So youre literally standing in front of them being ignored. Not even a hello or gimme one second. They just heads down or theyre staring at their computer screen. It takes almost 5 minutes for them to acknowledge you. It honestly feels like its purposefully done. Because I watched them, and I noticed that certain women who look or who are dressed a certain way are greeted differently. They also stare a lot. Theres so much awkward yet hostile tension in the room.I have also read on here that they feel that the non African American staff are not as welcoming to African American women and I couldnt agree more. Especially the Hispanic women. Theyre not very friendly, they stare at you and just make you feel unwelcomed, irrelevant and ignored. Their tone of voice towards you is hostile sometimes sarcastic. Its just filled with attitude. Its a very catty environment. It feels very cliquey. The doctors are fine but the meetings are very quick. It feels very rushed. Not good if you want to sit and actually ask a lot of questions. Idk it just seems like they have perhaps too many patients and not enough staff or not enough time.Honestly, the only reason why Im not scheduling another appointment is due to the staff and their catty hostile nonverbal communication and their poor customer service. The tension in there is crazy. Energy doesnt lie. They need customer service etiquette training.
I’ve been going to this office for 5 years now. The Gynecologist are usually pretty nice and sweet. But the staff at front desk lord!To take an appointment on the phone or when you walk in don’t expect no politeness from them. On the phone they hang up on you without a “have a good day or bye” and in real life they don’t make eye contact and same thing won’t say the simple medical secretary things should do.Reading the others reviews I see it’s not only me feeling this way.Who raised them? But most importantly who trained them? If you don’t want to be here at 8:30 am on a Friday to take a phone appointment, woman QUIT your job. Stop being miserable.
The personal staff and doctors are so great, they explain everything to you. At first, they didnt wanted to take my insurance but they say they could make an appointment just to see how the baby was going cause Im pregnant and they gave me a several more appointments to make sure everything was ok with the baby, they treat us very well. I wanted to give birthd with them but because of the insurance I had to change to another doctor.
This place is not it. They cram in appointment times in 15 minute intervals with the different staff. It wouldn’t be bad if appointments actually took 15 minutes they don’t. So a 9am appointment does not even see the doctor until 11 or so. Make it make sense if that’s one of the first appointments available. They do not value your time. I understand waiting at the doctors office but over 2 hours every single time doesn’t make sense. I liked the convenience of the location but I’m going to have to switch just because of that. I can’t just wait around excessively all because they want to make some money.
Second time coming and it will be my last but that place is just unorganized. I’ve called on two separate occasions to my appointment for them to tell me that I never made an appointment. The staff in the front always looks like they don’t want to be there and have this nonchalant attitude. I remember on one of my appointments I made a certain appointment for a doctor and they set me up with the wrong doctor and when I was with this doctor her attitude was terrible. She has blonde hair blue eyes and her name is either Goldstein or Goldman but I sensed her frustrations and seen that she was taking it out on others to but felt like it was completely unprofessional to show that type of behavior, ESPECIALLY TO SOMEONE WHO JUST WANTED HELP WITH HER HEALTH. Something is telling me if I was a white patient that would of never happened. But I’m okay now no thanks to this place
The wait time is long especially on a Wednesday and Friday (new patients are scheduled- I was new)The reception desk staff are cool though. Ms. Angie is a sweetheart, friendly and professional. The initial nurse was straight to the point, and my GYN doctor was so patient, friendly and made me feel comfortable (wish I remembered her name but she’s a sista and wears glasses). The lady conducting the sonogram...yea...she was not like the GYN doctor :/ but I still said thank you because I have manners (she didn’t leave the room for me to get dressed). But, overall, wasn’t too bad.
I have gone to this clinic on multiple occasions to address various issues. The 1st time I had an afternoon appointment and waited nearly 3 hours! Front desk staff was very apologetic and insisted it was a mistake. I understand s**t happens. My second visit was a morning walk in and I only waited 30 min. 3rd visit I waited a bit over an hour (with appointment). Every time I was seen by Dr. Irina (?). She is pleasant to work with and provides good care.My biggest concern about this facility is the older white man (possibly named Gary) who works out of a back office, presumably in an admin position. You see him in and out, he always looks disgruntled. He is very loud and often can be heard speaking/yelling (as I sit in the waiting room) in a very condescending and disrespectful way to other staff. Today, I overheard him condemning chemotherapy and insisting that cancer patients should be happy with what god gave you. Eeeeek!!! I admit I do not know the context of this conversation but it was horrifying to me that anyone working in the medical field could hold such a view point.Take away:Good care, kind front desk and medical staff, understaffed, expect a wait, what the f**k GaryOh and heads up, currently only patients are accepted into the waiting room as it is usually VERY busy.
I had 2 visits in last 30 days. Both times waiting time was long. Last time over an hour. Way too many people in their very small waiting area- clearly they dont care about social distancing. I suspect I had a procedure not needed and may have gotten sick because of it. And to add insult to injury I think my primary doctor there, who I had for years- is no longer there and I was not informed. Probably because had I been told I would have followed her- as I suspect a number of her patients had. And every time I ever call i am put on hold and often hung up on. I called today around 1040am I have yet to get a return call yet. If I could give 0 stars I would.
First of all the staff is extremely friendly and professional. My appointment was 9am and I was seen at 10am which was an hour later than my appointment but not that bad in the grand scheme of things. The nurse I dealt with was patient and exceptional. My doctor was also very very gentle, knowledgeable, patient, caring and kind! They are my new OBGYN! Thank you!
I went there today. I couldnt get anything done because I have a deductible to pay. I wished I wouldve known ahead of time. Other than that I love it there. Its nice and clean. I finally met Stacey a very nice patience person. I got to know of Stacey because the first time I called I spoken to a very nasty person there. I had some more questions so I called back and the lovely Stacey picked up the phone. I also spoken to another very nice person but didnt get a chance to meet her today. I think her name is Tish or Trish something like that. This two are very nice individuals that knows how to speak to people and make them feel comfortable. Today I also met the manager which I didnt get her name but she was also nice and friendly. Overall its a very nice place and when I get my money situation correct. I will definitely go back. The atmosphere make me feel safe there and also I see they move fast, they get things going quick. I love that, because I hate sitting around for hours waiting for my appointment. One minute it looks like it was getting crowded. Next thing you see the crowd was gone. Keep up the good work guys. I will also tell my friends and family about this place.
My appointment was at 3:15pm on 10/8/2020. I made this appointment because I had severe Abdominal pain and was trying to avoid going to the hospital. I arrived at my appointment on time and waited in the waiting room for an hour and 20 minutes. While I was waiting they were taking people who came in after me in to see the doctor. These individuals had appointment times after mine. These individuals were being registered after me and no one even had the common courtesy to say we’re backed up. As an African-American female, I felt as if my healthcare needs were put on the back burner for other patients that were not the same race as myself. This isn’t the first time I experienced this type of behavior from this clinic. In May 2020 I came to the clinic with the same issues and problems. At this time they were saying that only the patient was allowed in the back to speak with the doctor. While my spouse was sitting in the waiting room respecting the rules and regulations he noticed that a Caucasian couple came in and was able to go in the back with each other. It wasn’t until he pointed this out and got into a little debate with the receptionist that they allowed him to come in the back with me to be my moral support. I find is very disheartening and unfortunate because the doctor that was recommended to me was highly recommend. I am currently now on my way to the ER so I can get some help with an issue that could have definitely been taken care of in the doctors office
There may be good practitioners here, but I was very disappointed by the utter lack of care I received. I waited over 5 weeks and had to insist someone other than my examining doctor give me my results, despite having time sensitive health issues. No one seems to take any responsibility for the fact that their systems are failing their patients.
My 1st appointment at this office was pleasant. The frt desk employees are nice, easy to talk with and happy to serve you. Appointment wait time was good and place very clean. The doctors take there time with you, you dont feel rushed and they listen. This place is equipped with all technology to do all types of testing if needed. I was originally concern about seeing a new gynecologist but now I feel Im in good hands.
EDIT: having been here recently and updating my review, after seeing the staff professionally handle people who don’t comply with the mask policy, I’d like to add my admiration for the kind ladies at the front desk as well as the medical staff. They are doing their best in these times. Be nice to them and they will be nice back! They deal with a lot on a day-to-day basis. 5/5NOTE, the wait time often exceeds 30-60 min so keep that in mind when scheduling.
I have been going to this clinic for the past year or so. The location was super convenient. Sometimes there is a long wait time but I usually book my appointment first thing in the morning to avoid that. Majority of the staff is friendly and very professional.Overall, great experience.
I normally don’t write reviews but it’s imperative that i do today! Today was the first time I came to this office and I was having an amazing experience until I met with Dr Halstead!! I’m not sure if she was having a bad day but her attitude was extremely nasty towards me! Especially since it was our first encounter. She berated me and said it was insulting to her and my regular Gynecologist that I visited with her today! Instead of consulting or advising me, she made me feel attacked and undervalued. I left the office with my stomach in knots. I’ve never experienced anything like this before. The experience meeting her prior was phenomenal, but she left a lasting impression. I can’t believe a medical professional would behave so callously.
Very unorganized. I needed a procedure done and trying to schedule here was a NIGHTMARE. They had me down for an abortion when I clearly stated something completely different on the phone when booking my appointment. I had to follow up multiple times to finally get everything squared away. If I never followed up or was adamant about calling them to check on the status of everything, I would have never gotten the necessary care I needed. Not to mention I waited two plus hours for my procedure to begin even though I booked the earliest possible time to go in.
My appointment was for 2:30pm, I got there for 1:15pm. I did not leave this place until 4:30pm! This was beyond ridiculous. No one knows anything. I waited 2 & a half hours in the waiting room. Then while I waited in the room to see the doctor... I stayed there for another hour before I could see her.Never will I ever visit this establishment again.
Was seen in 2021 during the Pandemic and this place is not COVID safe. Just because they have someone cleaning the bathrooms frequently dose not deem this office safe! What about the chairs, the door knobs, the exam tables???!!! About the Exam Tables they are old and have tears in them the stuffing is exposed a haven for germs and bacteria! This office is like a Meat Market ok they had Over 20 People in the Waiting Room at one time and the seats are Not 6ft apart! You will be waiting over 1 hour before your Name is Called! This place is all about billing your insurance for services you don’t really need such as repeating a PAP when it has not been past 1year. They all just want to get paid the insurance money and could care less about how comfortable you are. The front desk staff are Not Pleasant At All. Try FemGen in Brooklyn they have way better services.
It pains me to say that my visit was a disappointment, because I love my gynecologist. However, I had a 2:30 appointment for a Covid test, which I was I was told I had to take at the medical center (I’m unsure of why it couldn’t be taken anywhere), in preparation for a procedure that I have to have, and I waited two hours just for a two minute test. I was also quite concerned about the number of people waiting in the waiting room, as there were over 20+ people waiting for services in a small enclosed waiting room, which had no windows (during a pandemic!). On a positive note, the phlebotomist who gave me my Covid test was quite pleasant and professional. This resulted in a nice ending to a stressful afternoon.
As a Black woman, it is very uncomfortable to walk into a doctors office and not see any Black staff. There was an air of awkward racial silence when I walked into the office. This shaped my perception of the entire experience and I’ve felt more comfort, care and consideration for regular gynecological services at Planned Parenthood. While I’m sure the doctors are knowledgeable and the staff is competent, I believe having an establishment with no Black staff in downtown Brooklyn is intentional. If you intentionally do not hire Black staff, how do you see me as a Black client? I won’t be returning.
I waited for over an hour in the waiting room. They ask you to fill out medical history forms prior to your visit, which I did, but you might as well fill them out when you show up because youll be waiting for so long and will have nothing to do. When I was finally was called into an exam room, I was told the doctor would be there in a few minutes. Nearly a half hour later, I was finally seen, but not by the doctor that I booked the appointment for - Dr. Kelly Halstead - no, I was seen by a midwife. Not even another named doctor of the practice. And I received no explanation for the last minute substitution, though I did tell the office the reason for my visit when I made the appointment and was told Id be seeing Dr. Halstead. Thankfully, I was only there for an annual check-up and a pap smear. The midwife said there would be some light spotting over the next day, but it was the heaviest spotting Ive ever had after an exam. Ive never bled so much after an annual check-up. And though she used lube before she inserted the speculum, she didnt actually ease into it and it was uncomfortable as hell. I cant imagine needing more comprehensive gynecological care from this place. Read the other reviews; this place has received negative feedback across the board. Dont waste your time or money here.
Much better than the last place I went to. The energy I receive is nice. Will definitely be going back for my prenatal services. They’re not pushy at all, always answer the phone, and work with you. Don’t seem like they hate their jobs or that they’re always in a rush or trying to get to the next patient in a hurry. Keep in mind this is in New York. They are competent in my book, even tho much medical services in New York establishments are not that competent or friendly and nice.
Great experience since I came for my first appointment. I love The staff, Rosi is such a sweet lady. Always smiling, very friendly and always keeps me up to date with every appointment the day before. Nothing is better then going to the doctor and having a great relationship with the staff, especially when your having your first baby. I will Definitely recommend this place to my friends when it’s there turn.
The Staff At The Facility Are Great; From The Front Desk All The Way To The Doctors. They Were Very Informative And Polite. However The Wait Times Are Their Biggest Downfall And Have Been Since Before The Pandemic. I Arrived On Time For My Appointment And Still Waited Two Hours To Be Seen.Clear Your Agenda For The Morning/Afternoon If You Plan On Coming Here
I would not recommend going here unless you absolutely have to. The doctor and staff were technically very nice, but both times I visited this office I had to wait close to two hours to see the doctor, and they were unclear about what I would be charged at the appointment and after. I received tests that werent really necessary and ended up spending $180 really for no reason. They then refused to give test results over the phone, and had me come in and wait 1.5hrs just to tell me everything is fine, even though they had claimed I would only need to come in if something was wrong. It is also not a very clean office, a lot of dust everywhere.
My experience at professional gynecological services is always great. Now that I’m coming more frequently for my prenatal visits I’m learning to be a bit more patient because there’s other moms to be that have to be seen but I just request morning appointments to avoid the long waits. Sabine one of the medical assistants at the front desk have always made sure that all my needs are met and I get all my paperwork. She also schedules my appointments for me. She’s so sweet, caring and communicates well with patients.
The staff, RN, front desk, they are all amazing and kind. But the wait is horrible. And the lazy who does the sonogram she could be a little more gentle because she was on the rough side and cold to me but. To each his own she wasnt rude just a little cold. But over all . Im very happy going there and would recommend them to someone else
I really liked my visit. The office is nice. The staff is nice the doctor is nice. They did a great job with my needle because I didn’t feel any pain at all afterwards and barely anything during. They also look into allergies and I like that it helps with rooted issues. That office section is good too. The only thing is make sure you do research on birth control pills because they often suggest it and i know it’s not for me. Good general experience.
Today was my first visit to this clinic. As soon as I walked in I noticed how clean everything was. Cleanliness is very important for me to see in a clinic. The ladies at the front desk were very welcoming. The assistant at the back office are very pleasant. The doctor I saw was so amazing she made I felt so comfortable as she read my results clearly explained everything and making sure I understood before leaving the office. I will highly recommend this clinic to everyone I know. Thank you all for this wonderful experience 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
My Gyn Dr. Amanda was just fabulous. She listened, she explained she referred. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a professional doctor that does the job well while making you feel comfortable and informed. The other staff members were also nice and respectful. The wait time was under 40 mins.
Amazing! Of course theres a wait but thats regular ANYWHERE you go. Front desk service was very professional. The M.D listened to all my concerns. I especially loved that she sits you in her office to discuss results. Really nice setting. Definitely recommend women to come here.
Overall, my experience was not so bad I feel that the wait time was a bit long I had a 9am appointment didn’t get seen till about 10. They were very thorough in preparing you for your visit. I just felt that the doctors and technicians seem to be unease and lack of communication and social experience to the general community seem like they’re uncomfortable to me.
Worst experience ever. The wait was close to 2 hours. I felt pressured to do tests that I did not need. I was there for an annual exam and pap smear but they put me in a room for a pelvic ultrasound. When I refused and asked the ultrasound technician why they want to do the ultrasound (mind you this is before I’m seen by ANY practitioner) she said it’s part of your annual exam!! I’m a physician myself and I know that pelvic ultrasound is not part of an annual exam!! I can imagine many women not having that information and go ahead with an unnecessary and invasive test.To make it worse they refuse to release any of my results to me unless I make another appointment (to charge me another co-pay I guess). I keep calling for my results and they just put me on hold. Luckily I was finally able to get my results through the lab portal later but this was only after they billed me for the test 4 months after my visit!!! Then they bill me separately for a CEA antigen testing which they either never did or if they did it was without my consent. There is ZERO indication to check CEA antigen in 34 yr old who is only there for their annual pap smear! They only care about making the most amount of money off of you. Shameful
Very up to date with all Covid procedures. I am so happy to have found this office everyone there was so kind and so accommodating and very thorough in my checkup. It’s hard to find a good doctor, and this will be the one I will be going to for a very long time for sure!
Since making good and friendly connections with the staff, I dont have any issues with my appointments even if my wait is over an hour. My issue is with doctors. The midwife is very dismissive, have not seen the doctor who would be doing my c-section and the PA who was actually the most attentive there has been gone. The facility has so much potential and covid puts a damper on their customer service. Being pregnant you are already afraid and emotional. Additional stress is not something you want to deal with.
I wish I could rate this place negative stars. It is by far the worst doctor’s office I have ever visited. I went three times in an attempt to give them a chance. The staff is rude and unprofessional. They don’t keep proper medical files as evidenced by the fact that each time you appear you must fill out paperwork. I had three different appointments but it was apparent appointments meant nothing because they didn’t keep a list of scheduled appointments. The doctors are cool and professional. However they need to completely overhaul management and staff. You couldn’t pay me to go back to that office.
Make sure you clear your schedule cause youll be waiting for hours. Most of the staff are rude and walk around confused. Also, I had an appt a few days ago that I was running late for. I called to let them know Id be 15mins late and ask if that would be a problem, the lady said no. Once I came in they refused to see me and said they already started cleaning the rooms for the next day and I needed to reschedule. Only needed a depot shot! I wont come back 😤
I had a bad experience when I called to schedule an appointment. The representative that answers the phone seem annoyed and didnt want to assist me.The day of my appointment, I didnt feel like they were following all guidelines to protect patients from covid. The back room was crowded with women, everyone was jumping from seat to seat, in and out for the pre-op examination rooms. So disgusting! Nothing was being cleaned after one female left the area. They were only changing the sheet nothing was being wiped down at all. I pray myself or no other women get the virus because of this company poor cleaning. I refuse to go back for my follow up, I will schedule an appointment with my gyn.Plus Dr. Miller was late and we had to wait for her to arrive in order to have the procedure done.
I decided to try this place because it fits in with my insurance. It’s my first regular gynecology office and they are okay. The staff is somewhat professional and they are nice. The wait times are long. I’m always in there for an hour minimum so prepare for a wait. They seem to take care of all women services no matter what your status is, which is great.
It was truly a great experience. The staff treat you so well here. The Physician and Nurse Practitioner took care of everything I was concerned about. This was my third time going here and I’m definitely going to keep going here. Thank you guys for your service and gratitude towards your patients!
The staff is very nice and the office is clean and professional. The only down fall is how packed the office gets. I was there for about 2hrs and it looked like 50 people showed up. Also the delay on getting labs back. Had to wait 2 weeks to get results on STD testing. Plus come in to review the results. Usually labs take less than a week. But other than that it was fine.
Normally when I go to this business the wait isnt too long. The staff is always friendly and accomadating. Last time I went (Friday Jan 25)the older white woman who checked me had me wait almost 2 hours just to get results and told me everyone was there to get results. When I spoke with the doctor she told me that I should have never waited that long, especially since everyone else that was called in front of me were new patients. The checkin nurse was mad because I asked to be billed my co-pay but didnt have an issue with someone prior to me who didnt even have to pay their copay.
My appointment was at 10 AM and wasn’t seen by the PA until 12 PM. And I waited 2 hours for the PA to speak to me for 30 seconds. It only took 30 seconds because she was not thorough and did not explain anything. She just wanted me in and out of the office. This place is very disorganized and I would not come back here.Although I must say, the front desk/receptionists were all very nice and helpful.
Waiting took about an hour but once I was called doctor was super fast in & out. WHAT I DID NOT LIKE WAS I SPECIALLY ASKED FOR MY BC PiLLS TO SENT TO A PHARMACY .. CALLED THE PHARMACY PRESCRIPTION WAS NEVER SENT.UPDATE : They called me right after this review apologized explain there was error. Lady was super nice! Appreciate that they actually look at google reviews.
Got letters from my insurance for unnecessary special ultrasounds done. They billed for 3 different procedures that my insurance required further information to approve. The clinic decides to commit fraud and bill with a false reason, claiming I had “pain with intercourse”, which is not true. They were trying to squeeze my insurance so please be careful and always ask them what procedures they are doing to you. My wait time was 2 hours but doctor visit took 10 min.
Dr. Rainer - AMAZING! Great bedside manner, very informative and accommodating, unfortunately the wait for his service is usually long (probably due to scheduling and being in high demand).Front Desk - Whenever Ive called Ive always been given clear and accurate information, I even got called back on more than one occasion to follow up, during my visit all staff members were pleasant and accommodating. Very different from his other office.Billing (Irene & Jennifer) - after getting no help from my insurance company these women (especially JENNIFER) were able to calm me down, LISTEN and explain the process to me better than my insurance provider.CON - with numerous offices providing different services they should be a better system of communicating across offices if patients will need to be seen at different locations.
I had to write this review cause every time that I come here, In the waiting room area they play the music on bluetooth and play the TV on Netflix and its so loud that you cant hear your name being called let alone we have to wear mask. So this is very frustrating. To say the least they need not to play nothing in the waiting this is so unprofessional. Only thing that I can say is that the doctors are great.
Professional Gynecological Services has wonderful staff eager to help make your appointment efficient, timely and professional. I greatly appreciate everyone for there kindness, care and great attention to detail. I highly recommend this place and look forward to continue being a happy patient.
My recent visit wasn’t pleasant at all. I have been coming to this place since I was 16 and this has been the worst service I have ever had. I arrived at 9:37am and handed in my paperwork around 10am. I show the nurse at approximately 10:45am or 11am and I didn’t see a doctor until 1:15pm on Christmas Eve. No one could explain to me what happen. Although, the doctor was very apologetic. I strongly believe they need to come up with a better method in seeing if the patient has been taken care of, if they notice that the file has been place on the door file for a long period of time.
I have been visiting this office for over 6 years and I’m not sure if management has changed or if they changed staff but their service is so horrible now. I went there in severe pain and for one the person who did my ultrasound had no form of empathy whatsoever. I think she was in fact annoyed that I was there and she had to help me. She was so rough and made the procedure even more unbearable and I am convinced she was doing it deliberately. The worst part of my visit was speaking to Dr. Halstead, I don’t know how this lady is even qualified to help female patients or deliver your precious babies. She is HORRIBLE.... no tact, no empathy, and just downright rude. I visited on a Wednesday and was told to come back the Friday for my results. I was in so much pain that Wednesday night I decided to go back the Thursday morning and that was a mistake because the doctor on duty this time looked at my chart, saw I was supposed to visit on the Friday and in a loud voice I could hear her from the waiting area stayed “ why is she here today instead of Friday” they should be happy I was in so much pain otherwise I would surely let them know about themselves. I will never visit again unless Dr. Marashi is on duty. They need to get that place back in order they are too horrible and unprofessional now.
This is my first time here. I went for my annual check up and full blood work. The staff was fine however the wait was extremely long from them calling your name to waiting to see the doctor but it doesn’t stop there. A month and a week later I get a voicemail (on Friday) after 4pm (I wasn’t able to even call her bck same day like that makes sense) saying to call her back on Monday. I’ve call 3/4 times after my blood work and I kept getting “if no one called you in the first week your fine” I am not use to that being the end all be all. My old GYN called to tell me my result w/in a week, she called twice before leaving a vm and if I just missed her call I was able to call her RIGHT BACK!!!!!!!!! Over a MONTH and a week later and you call on FRIDAY with no way to reach you until MONDAY. Talk about anxiety!!! I have never experienced this!!
Had an excellent experience from the moment I walked in the young lady at the front desk was kind and well informed welcomed me with a warm smile . To the lady who examined me and the doctor Amanda who read my chat too me, have another appointment in too weeks time. I highly recommend this practice for anyone.
Dr. Halstead is an amazing doctor, rather excellent. She listens to her patients and actually engages with them, well at least me. I appreciate her frankness. I’m not going to lie.. the wait time is a bit long but I understand why, it’s because she takes her time with the patients. I no longer mind the wait.. I just make sure my battery is charged and I have a good magazine to read.
I waited for over 2 hours and was never given updates. The waiting room was PACKED as if COVID is no longer an issue. There was one doctor working despite the 10+ women waiting in the waiting room. And, once I saw the doctor she barely spoke to me (and it was not even the doctor I signed up with through zocdoc). I told her what she was doing hurt and she didn’t even respond. It was such an unprofessional experience— from being rescheduled less than 24 hours in advance to the actual exam.
The wait time wasn’t too bad today. I had a 9:30 am appt, arrived @ 9, finished by 10:35. Staff are courteous. I like when they introduce themselves, my GYN provider didn’t (I had to ask her). Facility is clean and I felt comfortable. I like the flow. I would recommend here.
Horrible service, I had to wait over an hour to get called in by a nurse not even the doctor, the front office is very rude. Once I was taken by the doctor the service was even worse. She didn’t even know what she was talking about, didn’t even take her time to listen to my concerns and her simple explanation was ‘’ I’m not sure I hope this works if anything go to the emergency room” they charged me for nothing. I didn’t even get an explanation to my concerns. Unbelievable.
Waited a long time for an annual (which should be free) only to be treated very rudely and be charged because I had a question that was considered to be outside of my annual checkup. Billing department was very rude to both my insurance representative and myself when we tried to amend the billing codes. Wouldnt come back here even I had no other choice.
Rosie and the front desk staff is amazing at the flatlands location. Ive been a patient for over 5 years and now they also see my daughter. Ms. Yvonne is a wonderful caring down to earth provider whom is always truthful, realistic and very supportive. Ive been with this office for several years and watched as providers came and went but I think its fair to say Dahlia, Rosie and the rest of the ladies keep this establishment up and running by their care and professionalism!
There is a wait (most Dr. offices); however, the nurses and Dr.’s always provide great support and client services. The check in administrative staff can use a bit of coaching and training around greeting and intaking more friendly, professionally and efficiently. Being on personal cell phones & social media while clients wait is not a good impression for the brand. Overall reliable facility to have gynecological services.
I went in for a regular annual. The first thing they did when I got there was ask me to undress and what I thought was going to be a pap smear was instead a sonogram. They did not explain why or what it was for. The doctor came after said everything looked fine. I later received a nearly $400 bill for said sonogram since it was not fully covered under my insurance. Be sure to be proactive when dealing with this office since they have shady practices.
I made an appointment for the next day, not only did they have no record of my appointment. They also refused to see me because I was 10 minutes late. I can understand if theyre busy but they refused to even allow me to speak to a doctor. Its not the receptionist position to make that decision. Also very indifferent and showed no concern for my situation. She told me I could go to an urgent care or the hospital well thank you for that
When I came from Switzerland, I was worry about to find someone like i had before for my HPV in NYC ... I found an Amazing place very nice people, any time I need they take you very fast . I have found DR. Irina Vozny since 5 years she is so wonderful, incredible how she comforts you and care about you, she is super professional and when you find someone like her, trust me, you stay with !!!! *****
This place is a joke of an establishment that I would never recommend. Good luck to see an actual doctor here and you better save your receipts because you will pay copayments and get a bill for something you already paid. Luckily, I save everything! Bedside manner here is also horrible. This was an experience for both me and my mother. I would never have children with any of these providers. Save your time and sanity!
Just come an hour before appt because they really take people on a 1st come 1st serve basisI came for consult for fibroids removed from their surgical practice and the PA referred to several doctors at Methodist hospital and a private practice in Staten island. Just defeated the purpose of going there.
Clean place. Friendly staff. My last visit I didn’t have an appointment I walked in and was told I had to make an appointment so I decided to make one for the following Monday the nice lady went to ask if I would be able to stay and they took me. It was a wait but I was was seen within an hour and a half.
The front office was efficient. The doctor that I booked for was not in. I was not informed about that. I was surprised to see a female doctor in the treatment room. I did not mind, should have been told when I checked in.For an initial visit and my annual GYN, there should be more communication between patient and provider. I will try them one more time. I got appointment right away; greatly appreciate that.
I had a very blessed outlook while here; I felt very grateful to have enjoyed receiving the utmost in provision of care (administration, dignity, respect, cleanliness, organization, accommodation), and even though I had to wait over an hour to be seen, I took into account that I had only made the appointment the afternoon prior.
I waited 2 hours to be called, another hour to be seen by the doctor in the exam room, and when i told her the exact name of my persription i wanted to get she was rude to me. at the end of it all, my pharmacy never received the request. terrible experience, i won’t be returning.
The staff was extremely professional and friendly. The waiting room, pre-op and post-op was very clean and I felt very comfortable. The staff was sure to follow health guidelines by checking my arm band each time I was spoken to. In tough situations it is hard to be comfortable and the staff put me at ease.
I had surgery by Dr. Ruben Frenkel. When I arrived at 830am I was checked in. I loved the fact that they dont call you by your personal name but by another name they give you for your privacy. The center was clean and all the staff was very nice attentive and professional. Although my surgery was delayed working in the medical field myself I understand that these things can happen. The center is well organized and I would go back if I had to and do recommend others to go.
My experience at Professional gyn services, was excellent. From the women at the front desk, up until the back rooms was very professional and pleasant. The only names I remember was Joseph and Keisha. I can really appreciate when people are kind, approachable, professional and make you feel comfortable. Im a pleasant person and just to have it reciprocated just feels great. Questions that I asked was answered and understood. When I get great service and pleasant attitudes from the whole staff or just sitting on the side and observing how the staff treat other patients, in a kind and respectful way, that makes me feel good about the choice is made to come to this facility.

2022-02-16Very professional, very thorough and the gynecologist that I saw didnt just stop at an examination like some providers would but recommend other treatments including a sonogram and blood tests when I told her a symptom I was having. The best part was that I did the procedures right there and with very little waiting time. When I asked my provider if she was a doctor she said yes, come to find out later that shes not, shes a nurse practioner which is fine with me because she was nice and a great provider, but why mislead me? The front desk is very busy but the ladies there made an attempt to be positive and professional. I appreciated that. It was a very good experience and Ill be back. But the bathrooms are filthy. They really need to do better by cleaning it constantly since thats where the women go to collect their urine samples. The facilities need a makeover tho. Pretty old looking.

2022-01-26When I first went here I thought the doctors was nice and felt comfortable, but now after being back a couple of times, it’s really a rushed process. I feel like they try to get patients in out the door without really hearing their concerns and giving them a proper check up. That’s why I have to keep coming back. One nurse had me waiting in the back for 30 minutes for no reason.

2022-07-12I’m 32. Been going here since I was 14. The lack of communication and professionalism is ridiculous. I was told I needed to have a surgical procedure done and that I needed to meet the provider. On 3 different occasions I was scheduled at the office and each time I got there, staff notified me that the doctor left for a delivery. And I understand that deliveries are priority over regular appointments, but these people never called me ahead of time and told me that I wasn’t gonna be able to see the doctor. After the last time, I explained to them that I was coming from New Jersey and that they should notify me prior to my arrival so I’m not wasting time and money. For two months I’ve visited that office every other week. That’s 4 appointments, on which the last appointment they also gave me paperwork. I got a call about a week and a half afterwards and the receptionist asked me when I was going to make an appointment because I missed the last appointment I had. Which was dated about 3 weeks prior to this call. I flat out told her that they needed to get their stuff together because there’s no reason why I’ve been in that office every other week for the past two months and they have no record of me being in that office for a month, and then I also told her that they even gave me paperwork the last time I was there. How did John not have a record of me being there and you’re literally gave me paperwork to take home?? Like what?

2022-04-14First time coming here and my experience was great. The staff made me feel very comfortable and addressed all of my questions and concerns. The doctor (forgot) her name was very knowledgeable and honest about her advice and I respect her for that. Will be my permanent place to come for GYN services.

2022-06-07The front desk ladies are really nice and professional. Your wait time is not long. If you live in the Brooklyn area, definitely come by and make a appointment. They text you your appointment, the gyn doctor is very lovely. She makes you feel comfortable and attends to your concerns.

2022-04-17The front desk person was amazing, if it was just for her I would give 5 stars. The PA did not give me a detailed exam for my physical, she completely left out the breast exam. Her bedside manner was overall pleasant though. The sonographer was very rough, utilizing the sonogram without any warning and was relatively rough while using it. She also told me callously about a medical issue I was unaware of. From bedside manner to technique she was the worst part of this visit by far and deserves one star on her own.

2022-05-22The office was okay. The front desk woman was very nice. The doctor was quick and to the point. Understood the cost of my services and we worked out a plan to replace my iud. Wish the office was more inviting. The chairs sit in front of the tv like it was the babysitter for us women.

2022-05-26I have been a patient here for 2 years now. When I need to make an appointment, I never have to wait to weeks or more for an appointment date like other places. I love that about this place. If I call on a Monday and say that I need an appointment, I’m getting seen 2 days later by Wednesday or sometimes even sooner and can be seen the next day. They never make you wait long for an appointment a lot and that’s important because if you have an emergency, you don’t have to wait long for care. Dr Sheelon and Dr. Vozny are top notch some of thee best doctors in New York for women care. If you want quality care for female needs, come here and ask for them. When I come here, I never have to wait long. The nurses and staff are nice and friendly. When I get into the room, I am met with friendly nurses. Their bed side manner is the best. They are gentle. When I am explaining my needs, I feel heard. They have a caring approach and I always feel comfortable here. I leave out feeling taken care of and feeling happy. 2022-04-19Thank you to the staff for making my last few months of pregnancy a wonderful experience, especially Mattie who can remember a face even behind the mask. She always made sure I was comfortable during my prenatal visits.
