Pronto Pizzeria in other cities:
Amazing sangria, the pronto special pizza(Ive never had broccoli on pizza but OMG amazing), the people are extremely nice and helpful. Extremely busy little place but all the food Ive seen come out of the kitchen has looked amazing. Im from out of state(Tx) and everyone was so nice definitely coming back when I visit again. Diamond in the rough.
I ate at this place twice. Once to sit down and eat, the other time to get a slice of pizza. The owner here is very rude. First time, when I came to sit down and eat, he gave me a dirty table and was ignoring me when I asked to be seated. There was no one else in the restaurant. He also forgot to bring the table appetizer. Just today, I ordered pizza to go. When the pizza came out, he just gave me the pizza and when I asked for a bag to put the pizza in. He just threw the bag on the counter. Basically, telling me to put the pizza in the bag myself. I dont mind doing it, but this dude is rude. He also doesnt wear his mask in the restaurant and Ive seen him breathe heavily over other peoples food when sending it over. Also the food is beyond mediocre for the price. DO NOT COME HERE. Support another local business in the area. Im never coming here again.
Pronto Pizza is amazing with the most delicious, fresh food and wonderful superior customer service.Pronto Pizza made my parents anniversary a beautiful time !They listened ( Patricio) to every detail and made sure it was all perfect !We will order again and again !We absolutely loved everything and it came perfectly hot and beautiful!I can’t recommend this place enough !Ive ordered many times in the past , but it was a long time ago , but now on we will be ordering !Thank you all again !Thank you Patricio so much
Ive eaten a lot of pizza all over NY and tried some of the best pizzerias rated on google and youtube. His pizza is on my top 3 favorite places. I might even say hes number 1 for me. I love his tomato sauce and the thickness of his crust. I also love chicken rolls and his chicken roll is definitely the best Ive tried.
Such a small place with such a big personality. The food is phenomenal. Any plate you get is full of flavor. Such skilled chefs in the kitchen. The owner says there is always improvement to be made even though I feel like he’s already hit the mail on the head. I have never been disappointed once. Great little place for a date night or take the family. You will feel like your in tucked away resturaunt somewhere in a small Italian village. Been a fan for years
I came here for dinner last night and the food was absolutely amazing! The restaurant is so charming with its decor inside and outside that make you feel all warm and good in your heart. Antonio was a great host/waiter who gave delicious recommendations and who was just very charming overall. 10/10 would recommend. The food was delicious and the bread was the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant like this.
Food is very good. Pasta and chicken piccata, pizza and frittura mista, two glasses of wine, coke. It couldnt be better. Price reasonable. The waiter Danny was very nice. Only one minor point....he was too much distracted by his smartphone, which caused that we have to wait too long for the filling of the glasses.
Love this place. Food is delicious and staff is very friendly. From the pizza to the Italian food.. everything is simply amazing and the decor is very lovely!!! I highly recommend this pizzeria to anyone. I will say that the pizza is the best in New York city. I make sure I visit weekly. My favorite place to order out or just sit in.
Forgot to take pictures but honestly the reason why this place got 3 is because the price does not reflect the quality of the food. I paid almost 80$ for chicken parm, penne vodka, fett. Alfredo and bruschetta but everything was off, tastewise. The bruschetta had a tangy taste not sure if it’s because of the oil used. The alfredo was too dry. Overall, it just will not be a place I try again and definitely upset that I overpaid for this.
I have been to Pronto Pizzeria twice. Each time I have visited the restaurant I have had a pleasant time mainly because the place is small which gave me a feeling of home and privacy. Secondly, true to the restaurants name, the staff was quick to greet me in a friendly and welcoming manner; which communicated to me that they appreciate my business. Thirdly, the pizza crust was not soft which is a good thing. In fact, the crust was nice and toasty which is hard to find nowadays. Also, they know how to heat the pizza to the perfect temperature making it hot enough to enjoy but not too hot where it feels like it is boiling. I am pleased to say I hope I come back pronto to the pizzeria ;)
Finally gave pronto a shot. Not sure why i haven’t been here before it’s so close to my apartment. If you live in Astoria you will know the pizza here is not like Brooklyn. I don’t care what people say I have tried a lot of popular pizza places in the area. It’s pretty hard to find a good pie here. The grandma pie here is very original and extremely good. I would personally skip the normal pie, but trust me and try the grandma pie it will blow you away.
Had a sit down lunch here Friday. Fabulous service, very personal and amazing pizza. Ordered delivery Saturday night for burgers and sides...they were right on time, delivery driver was super courteous and the burgers were huge! The rolls were so fresh and AMAZING! Next time I visit we will make this restaurant a priority!
This restaurant was recommended by the hotel where we were staying, and were glad they did! We went for lunch and spent an afternoon! The food was delicious and the atmosphere fabulous. Our server , Danny, was excellent at his job and highly entertaining. The restaurant has a very homey and friendly feel and you just want to stay and enjoy the great food that is made with joy and love! Portions are more than generous and prices are fair. Take your friends and family and enjoy really fine homemade food and the feel good atmosphere!
Im staying in Astoria for a trip and wanted to have ! My friends and I all split the spicy buffalo wings, fries, ravioli with tomato, basil & mozzarella and the garlic knots!! Everything was amazing! The service was great and the food was delicious! Were def getting some ravioli to go before we leave!!!
Prontos pizza was awesome! The pizza is absolutely delicious and was so wonderful to meet the owners, Giuseppe, Sue and Ayla. Prontos was able to accommodate our large group very quickly. They truly treated us like family. Made our night in Queens one we will definitely remember fondly 🙂
Stopped in for lunch just after landing at LGA on a business trip to the city. Found this great little place with help of my foodie friends. They have have a lot of great items to choose but was in the mood for pizza! Order a few various slices and some garlic knots, all I can say is wow. It was so good I almost wanted to order a few other items on the menu just for the fun of it. But as waist isnt getting any smaller lately I decided to keep this great place in mind for next next visit to the area. Also want to give a shout out tot the guys working the counter, very friendly and attentive. Parking may be a little bit of a chore, but you should be able to find something within a block or 2 during work hours.
Dont get me wrong the food is more than decent here. However the staff behind the counter is extremely ignorant when you come to pick up your order or simply want to buy a slice. Every single time I go to this place it takes the guys forever to greet their customers and ask them why they are standing there in front of their register in the store!!! It takes 5 minutes to even get tended to! Its absolutely ridiculous and aggravates me every time Im in there. I avoid this place because of the morons behind the counter.
Pronto is a hidden Gem in Astoria. Small Pizza Place demeanor. Big time restaurant quality and flavor. Try their Pasta Fagioli Soup or Saxophone Salad. Try any dish besides their great pizza, and youll know theyre not messing around. Its run by actual Italians for what its worth!
Nov.2015 I called in to get a pie delivered and waited for one hour. I had my husband call in to get an update on our order and it turned out that they never placed our order. Communication among staff is obviously bad and totally unorganized. The guy on the phone started asking if they knew what had happened to the order and they were completely clueless. I love the food there but I was extremely dissapointed on how unreliable service is. So sad.
This place is absolutely delicious. You may wait a little bit longer than your average restaurant, but the food is fresh and delicious. The second the food touches your taste buds the wait was 100% well worth it.Call your order in before going here to save yourself the time. I highly recommend it!
Got a call a half hour after ordering saying that the delivery rider couldnt find my building and asked me to wait at the corner outside the building for him to come back(I live like four blocks away). Then, once I got the food, the chicken parm entree I ordered came with the wrong side, and when I called them, they insisted that I was mistaken about what I had ordered. Dismal customer experience aside, the food was mediocre.
I’ve been going here for about a year and the food is good but if you want your order mixed up serval times this place takes the cake. Although my orders were messed up serval times I never complained until one day I got fed up and complained only to be met by the owner and told it was my fault for not ordering the right thing. Anyways I still continued to go because it’s the only place super close to my house that had good food. But today I’m done this place has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ANY PIZZERIA OR ESTABLISHMENT IVE EVER BEEN TO. Do not go here.
If you like mysteries, this is the place for you. Is your pizza going to show up? Who knows!Ordered a pizza. Pizza was very late, called restaurant, was told it must have gone out cuz its not here. asked them to check and was told would get a call back. FF 15 minutes, no call. Called them again, was told it was delivered. To whom?! They dont know. Never did my bell ring, never did I get a call from the delivery person. Spoke with the most incompetent manager Ive had the displeasure of speaking to and was barked at every time I attempted to speak. Rude, awful customer service, never got an apology OR my pizza. After an hour and a half.
What a shame a place that says there similar to brothers wow what a bad advertising gesture,if they only new .i guess brothers will sue them for the idea ,pizza was horrible .drinks were warm yeah the cheese was stail.the knots were very soogy.never tasted old pepperoni until i ate there wow .if only brothers new this place was advertising that there similar to them.so not true .go find out for your self.you wont go back again.
Very good experience. Small restaurant with a dozen tables and a very intimate atmosphere. A very varied menu; the lasagne, the special Pronto pizza and the pesto pasta were very good. The simple but good cheesecake. The server was very nice even if the service was a bit long (we think its because the food was homemade).
The incredible attention, super attentive, helped me to get my baby in a comfortable position in his car, the tickets were divine, the burrata is great, and the pizza capressa a dream !!! Definitely a place that generates peace of mind and that causes you to always return
This is a small establishment that does not look good. It is very dark in the evening, but in fact its just a little intimist. If you are used to the best Italian pizza, do not forget that you are in the United States, that said they are still pretty good and affordable.Attention sizes are not the same as in France, the small tends to be akin to a large.Do not hesitate to talk with the owner, he is very nice.
It is a very cozy place, a little away from the most commercial area but it is worth getting there, the place very clean and pleasant and the food truly exquisite from the pizzas that are excellent to the main dishes. . . truly a place to recommend and visit as a family

2022-06-27This is our go-to neighborhood pizza place. Excellent thin-crust pizza with high-quality cheeses and fresh veggies, always cooked to perfection and never greasy. If you like broccoli rabe this place makes it with roasted garlic and butter - literally the best I ever had! My husband and I decided to dine-in for the first time last night and were not disappointed. Excellent service with a lovely family (or date-night) ambience. Everything is spotless including the bathroom.

2021-02-16Best hidden gem! It’s my go to place for family and friends dinners. Also, my go to place when ordering delivery. Place has the best taste when it comes to American-Italian food. Staff is friendly, fast, clean and extra helpful. So don’t be a jerk to them and you will be treated royally 😉. My favorite dishes: arugula salad, eggplant Parmesan and Best Philly cheesesteak in NYC!

2019-07-07GROUP: 15Experience: ExcellentFood: ExcellentStaff: Courteous, Kind, and QuickWe arrived in NYC just after dinner with a team of students. We walked over to Pronto Pizzeria in hopes of 4 large pizzas boxed up to crash on the sidewalk outside. The staff bent over backwards to take care of our crew. Their service stood out to our group of high school students so much that the kids wrote them a note of thank you and asked for a picture with them.Atmosphere and kindness can only go so far. The food has to be good. It was better than good. Pronto Pizzeria serves and EXCELLENT New York Pizza. We inhaled 4 oversized pizzas in no time. WELL DONE!We will be back! Pronto Pizza has become a must visit place when we are in Queens!
