Ive been calling several storage units in the past past week, but almost everyone in the area I spoke to has been very unpleasant, and that really makes me uncomfortable about the security of my belongings...This was my last option, and fortunately it turned out to be my best option!I was greeted by a manager I believe whos name is Joey, he was respectful, and very clear about everything this facility offers; he really gave me the peace of mind that I was yearning for.I was very pleased with our conversation, and I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates a cordial & professional experience.

So far, so good. I have not yet begun storing my belongings here but the registration process was a breeze. I spoke to the manager, Chris, a few times on the phone prior to coming and he was never anything less than pleasant and informative. Excellent customer service!
I opened an account with them about two months ago, everything was fine until roughly two weeks ago when I tried to use the gate and my code did not work (within business hours) and there was nobody in the office. I do not live in the area and wasnt able to get back until a few days ago. When I went back a few days ago I had the same issue with the code and this time there was someone in the office and when I tried to open the door it was locked, I wasnt sure if the person saw me and i think they did so I waited a minute or two after not being acknowledged and knocked and thats when the employee angrily jumps up from her seat unlocks the door and yells at me that theyre on the phone with a customer and I walked away and left to use a different route to access my unit via calling the 800 number. The person I spoke with was kind and helpful, stated she left an email with the district manager, gave me his number and reset my code. This morning I go to my unit and when I tried to use the code it again did not work. I called the number again and my experience was extremely unpleasant as I was explaining my situation I was spoken over every single time I spoke. I had intentions on keeping this unit as long as I needed and as of right now I want to just get my documents as well as other business related material I have in my unit and move it to another company and I really do not know where to go from here without being verbally accousted by a Public Storage employee. This is by far the worst customer service Ive dealt with in my life and have never written a poor review since birth, congratulations Public Storage youre the first.
Setting it up online was easy. Everything about it was very easy. However, I was a little put off in that they make you buy a lock and they make you buy insurance. Any apparent discount going into it kind of goes away as a result of those charges.

Promotion for $25 for storage for the first month then $160 per month thereafter for a 10 x 20 unit on 1/15/2020. Came to the Niagara Falls Blvd location near E. Robinson rd and met Tim. He was supper kind and nice. We came in to the place 15 minutes before close and he was so patient and helped us see the unit, showed us how to key in the pin to open the gate, and had such a positive personality patience; not rushing us out the door. I appreciated the customer service and professionalism. Thank you for a nice customer service experience! it was appreciated! :)
The Manager, Joey, is awesome!!! He was very helpful, courteous and respectful. He made the rental process very easy and stress free. Public Storage should consider themselves very fortunate to have this young man working for them.
Fran was an absolute pleasure to meet. She is the reason I had a pleasant time with my short use of this facility. The storage locker was very clean and easy to access.On a separate note was not pleased with the random price increase.
I called with questions about storage unit sizes and prices for each, as I am currently waiting on a house and need to store furniture for the time being. This place was great. Office staff was pleasant, and informative. The facility was ready to be filled when we arrived. The auto pay option was great and the cancel procedure was as simple as a phone call. I liked that the office staff told me that if I needed an extra day or two, they could charge per day instead of the entire month. Would use again!
I have had a storage unit in the past (at another facility not a public storage) & it pretty much looked the same.....but I have to say Judy is awesome! She was super nice, and was right on top of things when I got there. Because Judy was so organized it didnt take long to get the paperwork filled out and to see the unit. The low rates for winter months are also great. . I am happy I chose the Public Storage site that I decided on.Thanks again for your help Judy!
Judy gives fantastic customer service. She is extremely polite, caring and very professional. She is extremely knowledgeable about the business. The place is kept extremely clean. Judy cares about her customers. I would highly recommend Judy to all my friends and family looking for Public Storage.
Karen was very helpful with explaining everything and showing me the ins and outs of the unit, my only problem was there wasn’t any mention of paying for a special lock at this location on the website when I made my reservation I was told on site, but Karen was very professional and apologized then explained to me the locks they use and that It was mine to keep. Overall great service!!!
This was my second time booking a unit from this storage location and the experience was even better than the first. A gentleman by the name of Marcellus made my appointment quick and efficient. The unit was cleared out and ready to be viewed upon my arrival and the account process was fast and simple. I highly recommend this storage location and big thanks to Marcellus for the help.
I was in need of some temporary storage while I did some home improvements and needed a safe and secure place to hold my belongings. I looked around and realized that any place that brings storage and then takes the capsule away wasnt cost effective. When I found out that Public Storage had a drive up unit with a garage door that was secure and half the price I was immediately sold. Great value and the staff on site made the whole process a breeze! Would highly recommend!
Judy was absolutely wonderful. She knew me by name when I first walked in and was very helpful with giving me information about the storage unit and the costs and such. I forgot to bring my ID with me and was worried Id have to turn back but she was very accommodating and warm.I will definitely be using this unit location because of Judy.

My whole experience with this Public storage location was awesome. From getting the unit to closing my account I was treated with professionalism. I have checked out a number of storage facility providers in the area, and the most amicable facility I have discovered to-date is the Public Storage facility on the Niagara Falls Boulevard in Amherst. Apart from the very clean and secure site, the property manager (Judy) had an exceptionally pleasant manner along with a highly professional attitude, instilling great confidence in my decision to rent a unit at this location in the very near future. I can highly recommend this facility to all would-be renters, past and present. Don’t waste your time with the rest, Judy’s facility is the best.
I stopped in last week with numerous questions on size, cost and package goods and was very pleased with the grounds and customer service I was afforded. I believe the woman who helped me was Judy. Excellent knowledge, very friendly and pleasure to do business with. She had all my answers and offered several other options I hadnt thought of. Look foreword to this spring when I start my project. I live in Fort Worth, Tx. And when my dad passes away I needed to store some items so I could pick them up at a later date. Judy showed me the different size storage units that were available and went out of her way to make sure I picked the one that suited my needs. In my opinion she went above what is expected of her not only to make sure of my needs but also make sure she accomplished what was expected of her as a representative of the company she works for. Shes definitely a dedicated employee and very respectful to her clients. I will definitely recommend her as a contact to anybody needing a place to store stuff.
Judy was very accommodating for getting us an alternate space when the lock wasnt working during the check-in process. She made the paperwork very easy and was super-friendly.The only minus is that my lock from another Public Storage location that I stored at past year didnt work here because this lovation uses cylindrical locks, so it was an unnecessary extra $20. No big deal though!
I want you to know that you have a very nice employee by the name of Judy,at this location. I called the other day with lots of questions. Moving and storageas you know is very hectic. I came in to rent a unit and the employee that greeted me asked if she could help me,she introduced herself saying Hi Im Judy what can I help you with I said I need to rent a unit but Im not sure what size so she asked me how many rooms I needed to store and about how many appliances and furniture. She then took me out to show me the different size units and explained how everything would fit and which would be the best for me for the best price. It was nice not being rushed thru anything like I was at a couple others, and having my questions answered because this is the first time I have had to do this, I felt no pressure or anything bad I could tell she enjoyed her job by the way she took her time with me and the way she spoke to me along with the fact of the place was very clean. I was very happy with the treatment I received from Judy and thanks to her I will be renting my unit from them.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Judy has worked with me in accommodating changes to my lease agreement. They have always worked with me in getting the best fit for my storage needs.
I was driving by this location and popped in to get info on storage units, since Id be needing one in the near future. I spoke with a gentleman by the name Michael Uhrich. He was very professional and had the answers to all my questions. What size units were available for rent and how much the prices were for each. What the best type of lock and key was to use for my future unit. Plus all the extras the company can supply for very good prices, boxes, tapes, storage extras etc.. I was well informed upon leaving and once needed will be returning to get a unit of my own. Thanks again Michael for all your help and friendly insights you had to make the experience as easy and convenient as possible.

I work next door and have previously rented storage space from this location. Today I needed a box to ship a piece of artwork off to New Orleans to a friend. Sharon, who is the property Manager was very helpful and friendly!! I highly recommend both Sharon and this location if you need storage and moving boxes plus supplies.

I had moved to the Western New York and was in need of a storage facility. Since I was unfamiliar with the area I wasnt sure where to go to store my belongings. I came across Public Storage. I was hesitant about leaving my personal items in a storage unit, but Judy reassured me that Public Storage was a great company, and that my belongings would be secured. I felt she was very helpful and professional. Its because of the courteous service Judy provided me, I will definitely recommend Public Storage!

Every time Im in town and stop at unit I usually stop to pay as well. .... As nice as the mgr is.... The last several times Ive been there the office is closed with the clock marked as to when they will return and they are NEVER back at that time!! Ive even waited over 30 min when they arent back ... My time is more valuable then this ... Also during the winter months I tried to get to my unit twiced and was both times unable to access it due to the amount of snow in front of the door .... So much for being able to access your stuff!! Then they keep raising the rent I dont live in NY so difficult to be there all the time to deal with this !!
I came in to make a cash payment for storage in another state. It was super easy to do, and Jayne was very pleasant and helpful!
The girl who works there is very nice. I was supposed to be there at 4:30 but ended up working late. I would have just come the next day but she didnt mind waiting for me. Also convenient location for me; right in between work and home.
Tim was an angel! I got there at 4:45, 15 mins prior to closing and he was very helpful and kind! I was in and out in a flash. Definitely recommend this location!

I recently talked to an associate of Public Storage. Her name was Judy. Although I made it clear that I was just looking and collecting information, she was very professional and took a lot of time to explain what her facility offered. I have to say I have been to other such storage places and she was by far the most imformative and professional. Although, I havent decided yet about my storage choice, Public Storage would most likely be the one I choose because of this recent experience.

A friend of mine used this storage facility in the past and I thought their rates were very reasonable and their storage facility was very clean and accessible compared to that of Uhaul, and they were very helpful when she rented so I decided to rent also and they were very helpful to me as well, I would recommend this facility to those looking for a nice clean atmosphere to store your items, you can even store your cars and motorcycles there also at a reasonable rate, just want to thank the staff for all their help, especially Judy she went above and beyond within her duties, thanks again! :-)

Worst storage place. No security cameras, hidden charges, security gate has been broken for months. Manager more concerned with bottom line than security of the complex. Employees could care less. Save the hassle, use another unit up the street.

Kid in the store was never thereWhen he said he was going to be there I stopped and he said he was on lunch come back I came back one more time he was not there I came back in the morning they were supposed to open at 9 AM he had a sign saying I’ll be back at 9:30 I talk to him the day before he said he would be there at nine he showed up at 9:25 as I walked in behind him he locked the door and the began to laugh at me so you lost business so I went down the street

2022-05-13Be careful. I had my unit from April of 2021 to May of 2022. During that time my rent went from $113-$133 to $186. The $113 was a special promotion but the $ 56 increase (42%) was in less than a year. The only help they would give is to close my account and stop automatic payments . These guys are bait and switch artists. Be careful.

2022-01-27I never write reviews on any place but I figured people should beware of some stuff before moving. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing the insurance to cover anything but major damage. I had mold on my furniture even after carefully covering everything with plastic, and their “orange door insurance” won’t cover anything because there wasn’t “water damage” or water creating moisture in the unit. Also was charged an extra two months because I forgot to turn auto pay off and left the locks, which apparently I purchased from them which I didn’t know I thought they came on all units, so I won’t be getting reimbursed. That is my mistake for not thoroughly reading every single term and condition, but you’d think the communication could be a little better if I received a move out confirmation email and they didn’t check to see if I was actually moved out. They’ve had to run into the situation before so it concerns me that the communication has not been improved. Like I said, partially my fault for the lock situation, but I wanted to make others considering to rent aware as well since their communication is not the best here. I feel as if I should have been contacted if my locks were left on after I said I was going to move out, maybe they’d assume I wasn’t sure of the process. Either way, be careful. But besides the mold, awful insurance policy, and poor communication, not a bad place to rent from over all just maybe consider a storage facility with more communicative measures in place. And also definitely consider a temperature controlled unit if you plan to keep anything here for more than a couple months as there is potentially a mold issue which is no fun!

2022-02-15I had the pleasure of dealing with Jayme, who was very helpful on straightening out an issue with unit reservation and payment. She went the extra mile to figure out what needed to be done, and then she did it. She was very professional and very, very helpful!

2021-12-21Jayme helped me move out she was super friendly and super helpful. Needed the space to help move and never had a problem. The app works amazing, never needed to get out of my car to go through the gate.

2021-09-23Had to store my items for 9 months well my house was being built, the unit was prefect size. When I went to check and make sure I closed out my account and unit properly online I met Jayne. She was super friendly and helpful to make sure I did it all correctly. If I ever need another unit I will be using them again.

2021-06-18I am in the process of moving out of the state and I needed to store my house contents for 2 months. I walked into Public Storage to be greatest by a wonderful lady at the Niagara falls Blvd. location. She talked with me about sizes of the units, insurance, the gate and explained to me that I could put the mover on the code to move me out when I was ready. She explained about all of the boxes and temperature control and saved me another trip to another store by selling me packing tape. She was so knowledgeable and kinds. Thank you public storage for making life easier.

2021-06-11I have had a unit at this location and have had no problems. At my mist recent visit i had problems with my lock. Jayne from the office was able to get me set up with a different type of lock right away. Location us also very convenient to both Amherst and North Tobawanda.
