On Saturday I rented a Storage from this facility. I would like to let you know the services I received from Camille. After a long travel from Georgia and needed some where off load my furniture., I ran into this stage, I came in and made some enquiries, the empathy she should, her politeness,and willingness to help made me so comfortable, my headache magically went away. I was shopping around for the best rate on a storage unit at several places. I then visited public storage. Due to the excellent customer service provided by Kevin Naya I elected to go with Public Storage. He was personable, knowledgeable, professional and answered all my questions. Public Storage is lucky to have an employee of this caliber. I would recommend others to your facility and would recommend them to speak with Mr. Naya.
My mother and I went to look at The storage spaces they had, and Overall my experience was very good. I felt comfortable and safe, the associate Camille was Very nice and understanding.Camille assisted us twice and mad sure that we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable with the rate.

Paris is a Wonderful sales associate who knows her job and diligently takes her time to explain everything about the storage system. She was pleasant and very helpful. Naya was pleasant also while taking care to make sure the office looks inviting for customers when they arrive on site.

The hours arent very practical. They close at 6. Most jobs are at the very least 9-5... you cant access your things till maybe the weekend. The gate access is also inconvenient. You must exit the vehicle to punch in the access code, then quickly return to the vehicle to get inside before the gate closes. The rent increases every year, so it quickly gets out of hand. Started with a unit 10-15 for about $125.00 monthly. 3yrs later that same space is now $440.00 got forbid youre late... its $515.00. Followed by the daily phone calls, and emails. It was suggested that I speak to the location manager for a rate adjustment. The new subscription rate was far less. I called several times. Left voicemails, and no response. But they are extremely vigilant when youre late. On a brighter note, the staff is very nice. The ladies are quite helpful, and pleasant. The only reason I gave this location 2 stars. Thank you ladies. Sorry I dont know your names... but you guys have been good to me. Especially the gorgeous chunky one 😘🥰

Ive been here since 2010 and havent been treated as good as I was today. Ashley was pleasant from the moment I walked in. Thomas helped me being stuff to my car and even explain the fluctuation of prices on my unit. I would and have recommended this location to family and friends and even had my mom rent out a unit. Good job guys.
Dont have much to say other than I got fantastic service at this location. The property manager, Paris, was very accommodating in helping me make the decision about what size unit to select to store my extra stuff. She showed me as many units as it took to make sure I had the right fit - just awesome. Would highly recommend!

Naya was very professional and recommended a locker for the size of my appliances. Her customer service was just amazing. With so many storage units popping up today, Im glad I chose this one. I chose this storage is very clean, well lit and secure and has accessible parking. No annoying meters or having to worry about being ticketed while unloading or loading.
I was simply blown away by such great customer service! With a name like Paris, how could I forget who helped me and my family enormously. She was efficient from the time we opened the door to the building. We knew our property was going to be in great hands by the way she took care of us. Thanks again for everything!!!
I just happen to be in the neighborhood and stopped at the Public Storage in Queens Village and purchased some rug bags. I was very impressed with the staff and service provided. Both Erica and T.J were very friendly, professional and helpful. The office was clean and service was outstanding. I will always purchase merchandise from this location and will definitely recommend it to my friends and family. These two girls are AWESOME! Erica and T.J keep up the good work.
Our experience obtaining a storage place was so much easier than expected. We are thankful to Thomas who helped us through the whole procedure. He explained everything to us step by step and we really appreciated his professionalism. We also loved the fact of how clean the storage place was and not to mention the reasonable prices. Awesome experience to storage at this location. Thomas took care of my account and everything involved with it. He was patient, charismatic, fun, and reliable everytime I came into the storage. Ali and Stephen are very good workers there too. I have not only spoken to them in the storage while moving in stuff and moving out or even packing them, you can always count on them to help you and guide you the right way... Very good storage, reliable and easy to access...

Im not a fan of storage at all and I didnt intend to be with Public Storage as long as I was but again dealing with these three gentleman made it ok. I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a storage unit that will not harass them but will communicate as well as work with them. The experience with customer service at public storage was assume. From the day i got to the store naya was very helpful to me, I appreciate all the help and assistance she gave when needed. I believe she is very hard working on had good relationships with customer.
I will say that the young lady Nia that I encountered today was efficient in her job. I do understood that she was preforming her duties but she lacks empathy and compassion. FYI some people using the storage facility is going through a stressful time and dont need to argue the fact they understand the rules but need some time to sought through their belongings. It is an emotional thing to know youve worked hard for this things you own and then you need to let them going because its more of a burden! So just understand that adding stress into customer life, is not good customer service!
The service I received from Dazni was Superb. She was very helpful, friendly and she has just the Best demeanor and personality!! I also dealt with another young lady (whos name I cannot remember) and she too had the best personality and held it down until Dazni was able to talk care of me. Love these young ladies and their brand of Customer Service. Definitely recommend the Facility!!
I was to Public Storage referred by a relative because I needed short-term storage for some of my property. I was helped by Stephen, who was super friendly and helpful as I am a first time renter. The facility was very clean and spacious. Steven help me to figure out the ideal space for my stuff. The prices are very reasonable and I was able to utilize theyre great 1 dollar sale for my rental. The team at this public storage facility really helped me make a stressful situation much easier. Thank you
When I walked in I couldnt believe what I saw and witnessed. Finally a storage thats clean safe and the staff were polite professional and respectful. I was helped by a young adorable caring powerful woman by the name of Erica and she so humbly help me find a room thats suitable for my belongings and budget... TJ and Octavia were dope. They greeted me with smiles and made sure I knew everything about where Im storing my stuff. I was hesitant to leave my valuables in a warehouse, but after talking to them I feel like I got the greatest team in NY guarding my things. Highly recommend this place. 5 star without a doubt

As soon as I stepped into Public Storage I was immediately greeted by an exuberant, professional, and very charismatic young woman by the name of Paris. I only needed boxes but she helped me to realize I needed a lot more than boxes for what I was looking to pack away. Paris is definitely a great asset to Public Storage.
Tahucha and Octavia were awesome. The location was clean and secure and the unit was perfect. They even stayed late to help me out. I’ve stored with a few other companies but when in comes to customer service they took the cake.

My mom has a storage there and I go with her sometimes but sometimes I am at work so I am not available. When I go it is always clean. My mom always comes home talking about this girl name Paris she always helps her and is walking around talking with other people making sure everything is okay I appreciate that very much and so does my mom

Yesterday I rented a unit and I dealt with sales person Naya. It was a pleasure working with her, she was so pleasant and hospitable. I hope she is being paid well because her welcoming attitude can surely bring a lot of customers.

I only needed my storage for 1 month but I can assure you that it was such an easy experience for me. I had sold my home and needed a place to keep my things while closing on another. Both Steven and Thomas were very helpful and always went out of there way to assist me. I am SO terrible with directions so one of them would guide me to my storage! I will absolutely tell my family and friends who need storage to head over there! A+ The storage was clean and I had no worries storing here!
I went into this location expecting the same old song and dance as the other storage places I had been to. Not so! I was taken aback at the care and the time that was taken with me to break everything down, they even went as far to show me the different sizes of the units, and everything!!! The young lady there, Dazni, I couldnt forget that name, its so different and beautiful, like she is, was the best part of my experience. She is very well spoken, and a very sweet young lady. She adds that special feminine touch. That helped in my decision making to give this location my business. I will be recommending this location to all my associates!!!
Talking about your living situation can be a very touchy subject but, Erica and Paris made me feel very comfortable yesterday when I came in to inquire about buying some boxes and tapes and getting a storage space. I would recommend this public storage to anyone just go in and ask for them. I will not be needing the box at this moment or may not at all but if I do they are the first people I will come to. Thank you so much for your help and your advice and good luck to you both on your bright futures.

When I walked in there were friendly faces happy to help and it smelled like lemons. The place is very clean and the staff is very helpful. Stored things here for two summers in a row in between school years. I definitely recommend using this public storage!!

My elderly mom is currently downsizing and she did not want to get rid of most of her stuff .I took her down to the storage place which she was not happy about it at first .Once we had the pleasure of dealing with the customer service rep Naya her feelings about everything changed. Naya is a very great,nice attitude and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this location.

I come here all the time and I know my things are well protected in here , and I love it . I get treated with much respect . From the managers to the staff they are all great . Especially this one manager by the name of Dazni , shes great at what she do , she always makes sure that everything goes well with me ,and always greets me with her warm smile .Now thats what I call great customer service. Daniel was amazing with all the help he gave me when we first got the storage but then I came back the next day to unload my belongings and to make it worse it was raining like crazy. I need it a key to use the dollys (fyi...only one per customer( I was never informed))and when I when to the main office it was completely locked. Office hrs are supposed to be 9:30 am to 4:30 PM.... I knock on the door by 10:30am and the office was closed. I called customer service to find out why the office was close and they said there is nothing they can do. Eventually I saw a customer walk in to the office. Turns out the girl in the front desk was in the back of the office with her headphones on and forgot to open the door for the customer. She had such a bad attitude that it made me just walk away.
Thomas was awesome! Helped us get everything done in an efficient manner. Very prompt on timing and response. Extremely professional! Storage area is safe and clean. Would recommend to anyone!
Don’t be fooled by the reviews because the store associates are particular with who they ask to give a review. Very staged. The district manager Dan is a jerk. If you have majority of the money you fell back on he will still auction off your belongings. Water and electric have payment plans when you can’t pay in full but these fools don’t ? Don’t store here especially if you’re trying to get on your feet like many ppl who have their belongings in storage. Awful. Once again don’t be fooled by the reviews because the store associates are particular with who they ask to give a review.
The first-month deal is great. The storage area is neat and has a good cool temperature. They have enough trolleys in case you end up moving things at the same time as other people, you may still get a spare. Its easy to locate being at the corner of Springfield Blvd. and Jamaica Ave.

I called 2 hours before my appointment to see if I was going to be able to be seen earlier since I already was near the area. Luckily, Ms. Dazni was such a great experience and she accommodated me. Once I walked in I received a warm welcome. Dazni EXPLAINED EVERY DETAIL of the storage including the walk through in which the place is VERY CLEAN. As of right now, I am very pleased with the experience I received at this location.

I had a very great experience dealing with Camille yesterday. I called in distress and was able to get a unit and moved in my things that were already loaded in my car. The process was easy and smooth. Camille is a sweetheart. Great job. I took away one star because I specifically asked for climate control. Yesterday was above 95degrees. In the less than 30mn o was in the unit making two trips down to my car I was sweating bullets because the a.c. where my unit is located is not working nor is the light outside of my unit. Had to use the flashlight on my phone. I certainly hope that they get it fix by tomorrow because I cannot under any circumstances put my tvs in there. I alreaday have some CDs and DVDs that Im afraid are getting damaged already by the heat there. 🙏🙏🙏🙏. Other than that their customer service was A+
Greetings. I was a customer at this location for a couple of months in 2013. What compelled me to finally write this review at this time was because of horrible customer service I recently experienced with a certain cell phone company (TracFone). That experience made me realize just how necessary it is to document certain experiences that we consumers have with businesses, and not just the bad experiences. As a matter of fact, it is the bad experiences that make the exceptional experiences stand out even more. Its kind of sad that one should have to comment on just good customer service, because thats the least that consumers should experience, no matter what. But, when it comes to exceptional service - which is what I experienced with this particular Public Storage - one has to make it known. Thomas, Stephen, and Aliche absolutely went above and beyond when I first came there. Im hesitant to detail exactly what they did simply because I wouldnt want anyone to attempt to take advantage of their kindness. Just know that they truly value their customers, and I would highly recommend that location to anyone that values being appreciated. Thanks again, Thomas, Stephen, and Aliche. Job well done!

I came into the store to rent a room with my sister last week. TJ did a superb job making us feel like her things were safe and made her experience easier as she does not speak English and TJ speaks Haitian creole. That was a plus. But the next time my sister came to move her stuff there was another worker there who was talking to another Haitian customer and laughing at him because of his language. He was very uncomfortable but she was very loud and rude and mocking him. I was very upset my sister had to witness this and now will probably be to afraid if being teased to eve step inside. Very disappointing.
I had a unit at one of their Bronx locations horrible experience. My unit was broken into they called me demanding a payment days after this happen and upon calling the facilities on multiple occasions I was hung up on multiple times. Worst experience I have ever had with a storage facility. If considering a unit please run, units are not secure at all just look at the contract and do your research this company has had multiple breakins accross the states but fail to bring this to the attention of their consumers. Find a more secure place. If I could I wouldn’t even give them one star they don’t deserve even that.

Recently moved to California and needed to store all my large furniture items for the time being. Public Storage made it easy, affordable and the staff helped me pick a space that was the right size, not trying to upsell, which a lot of other storage companies do. I mostly communicated with Alicha (sp?) over the phone and he was very helpful and polite. Public Storage made one part of this big move hassle free and I am grateful!

I got held up for two hours in bad traffic. I was meant to be storing a motorcycle whilst i returned to England. The store says it shuts at 6pm when I rang at 5.05pm to say I will be there at 5.40pm I was told that it is too late as the main staff leave at 5.30pm. This would have meant me having to miss my flight home and organising storage the next day. I was lucky to be near Cube storage who were very helpful and enabled me to return and see my family. I suggest you change your opening hours or at least put a note saying that staff finish early. Poor show

Every time I go to pay my bill Im always welcomed with a great hey how are you? And that puts a smile on my face. I happen to love to go in and pay my bill and theyre always accommodating to ALL my needs.
I have used this facility previously, so when I needed a storage unit once again, I went back to this location. I found the units clean, the prices very competitive, and the staff quite friends and helpful. I would strongly recommend this location to anyone in need of a storage unit.
While I was visiting the establishment Naya was very warm and pleasant answering all my questions. She gave me the best experience.

The day that Clinton and fendi worked together they were great they went out of there way to help me find a unit that could fit all my things , fendi was beyond helpful as far as helping my movers and making my moving process as easy as possible . Clinton on the other hand was even more helpful because after a while my movers had left me alone and i had no one to help me fendi told Clinton she would watch the office while he gave me a helping hand I was so greatful to have them working this day and i hope to see more of these helpful people again they made my moving a wonderful experience

Thomas & Stephen were such a great help !!! The unit it self is very well lit and make very easy to fill. The carts are always available to help with moving stuff . This is great storage facility !!!
You cannot access the facility after hours. The Queens Village location is open from M-S 9:30-5:00pm, Sunday it closes 4:30pm. This contradicts the hours posted online, l wish l knew this before l rented the space. Also, they make you sign a waiver stating that if your stuff is damage or stolen you cannot obtain a lawyer and can only sue them in small claims court, which has a $3000-5000 cap. The billing is misleading and you are required to pay extra for insurance.

2022-02-16Overpriced and over secure. Just like cable companies the longer you stay with them, the more they charge you. You need to enter a code in like 4 different places just to get to your locker. They use to allow disposal of unwanted items but no longer do that and will charge you for leaving anything.

2021-09-15I came in today 9/14 to inquire about a storage unit for my upcoming move and I was very unsure on what size will be great for me but the lady working in the front named tia took her time and explained the whole process to me. Even when I was unsure she didnt lose her patience with me. She treated me with respect and she answered all my questions. She showed me 3 different units because I didnt know exactly what I needed but she was very knowledgeable so Thank you tia for all your help you are the best!!!!!

2019-08-09I spoke to Camille on the phone who was lovely and gave me all the information I needed to set up my reservation. When we finally arrived at the location, my husband and I met with Daniel, who showed us the unit and helped us get everything in order. He was also so lovely and helpful. He made the stressful experience must less stressful. Not only were the employees super helpful, but the area was clean. We were able to get all our storage stuff into the unit before 4:30pm. I appreciated that there is a gated area to unload stuff from cars. I highly recommend this location. Thanks again!
