In trying to navigate changing my storage space to a different size and monthly rate, Ms. Antoinette Motley was most helpful. She was knowledgeable and patient assisting me in this process. I only reserved the fifth star because Ive yet to use the space, but she deserves 5;stars.
Nay & George were very helpful and patient in helping during this stressful time. Nay also helped me to download the app and showed me how to sign in, she even escorted me to my storage room and showed me how to use the lock. ( what a joy to have her there to help me). I intend to recommend this facility to anyone I know that’s looking.Thanks Nay and George, God bless you both.❤️🙏🏾

Nay Lomax deserves a solid 10 if the ratings went that high! Not only does she have a pleasnt customer service disposition, but she goes out of her way to multi-task to help others with their questions without insulting the current customer. Oh, that all CSR could be as well trained as Nay..let me take that back..it doesnt have as much to do with training as it has to do with inately knowing how to treat people with respect! My first time renting a storage place and a pretty woman named Nyjae was very pleasant and extremely helpful i went in recently to check on my things because of the flood and she was very helpful its nice to go into a business and be greeted by a nice person thank you!

I signed up for a new unit at this location today! I had an awesome customer service experience. Nadia greeted me very professionally and was extremely helpful in explaining all of the details of the contract. She answered my questions very well and gave me a tour of my unit and I happily signed up. This location is clean, safe, easy to get to and I am looking forward to a pleasant experience with Public Storage at 137 Saw Mill River Road. I have generally had a very good experience elsewhere, but this facility has been completely renovated, well maintained and I feel that its totally worth the money I am paying. Keep up the good work!
Store manager Ms. Nyjae was very pleasant and patient in explaining everything. Eventhough I came in towards the closing time , she took her time and didnt even rush me. Very professional.
We have been renting at this location for a while. We wanted to upgrade our unit. We went to the office and had exceptional customer service by Paris. He answered all our questions and walked us around the different units. Paris was very professional and knowledgeable. We are happy to rent at this location and will definitely send friends and family over!
DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. Reviews are all FAKE. They just destroyed tons of their customers stuff and you expect us to believe you are getting positive reviews??? You are lying liars. Complete scam. They even charged me for the time that my stuff was under water.
Ive had an AMAZING experience @ Public Storage -137. Shantell C. Immediately, expeditiously resolved 3 issues that Ive had. THREE, and did many follow ups. Excellent customer service provided as I step foot into the office. I was greeted by Angel and Michelle and right away I felt confident that my moving would be easy. Angel helped me through out my entire process from walking me through the lease and walking to my unit. The building is clean and well maintain. I could tell that the entire staff that work here are loyal and dedicated to their job. I would recommend this storage property to anyone thats in need of storage space. Thank you Angel and Michelle
I took an Uber to the wrong storage unit. My driver refused to take my child and I to the correct location. I had several bags I couldn’t carry to the storage place I initially intended on going to. I met Jasmine, a PHENOMENAL employee here, who not only helped us with our bags, she legit received the okay from her boss to DRIVE US to our correct location. Aside from the fact I was having a really rough day, Jasmine is THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF HOW THERE ARE GREAT PEOPLE LEFT IN THIS WORLD! I cannot thank Jasmine enough! I even offered her cash for her troubles to which she replied: “I didn’t do this for money. I did this because I understand how hard life is. Too many times, women fail to uplift each other, and sometimes we just need help.” I’m legit crying as I type this!! Jasmine, you have no idea how much you mean to my son and I after that amazing gesture!! I will FOREVER remember you for your effortless and genuine spirit!! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! 🙏🏽♥️💯
The staff here is amazing. Angel went above and beyond to satisfy me as a customer. She was very knowledgeable about what storage units she could offer me and gave me an amazing deal. The office was very welcoming and clean. I would definitely recommend Public Storage to a friend.
I wanted to have a storage unit close to the city, but didnt want to be directly in the city as prices tend to be higher. I made an online reservation and throughout the week, the staff contacted me to make sure all my questions were answered. When I arrived at the unit, the lovely lady (I forgot her name sorry!), was very respectful, kind, and knowledgeable. It was such a seamless process and I couldnt be happier! Additionally, I came in during Labor Day weekend where they had an amazing sale and ended up getting a bigger storage than what I was looking for. Will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family who live in the area as the staff here went above and beyond!

I have been a customer for over 15 years at this location. When we first started, it was dingy, dirty & run down. Through the years this location has been updated/upgraded for the better. So far, I have had no problems with the workers, have found them to be competent and friendly. I upgraded my unit yesterday and dealt with both Devon and Monique. Excellent workers, helpful, friendly. would highly recommend.

I had an amazing experience at public storage. The customer service provided by Savannah was excellent. She understood I was in a rush and easily found me the right storage unit while making the process as quick and easy as possible.
My family have rented at this location for years , the price has always been reasonable compared to other storage companies. The ladies have kept it clean and well maintained. Angel has always treated my family with the best customer service and always helps us with any questions or concerns we may have. The facility is climate controlled and has high security from gate codes to outer gates. This has made my family and I feel very safe with us belongings stored here. The carts have been helpful and although they are only used within office hours, this has made it fair for all the customers using the carts.

We were looking for a climate controlled safe space for our belongings. Nadia and Rafael helped us find the best size and best deal. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and confident in their jobs. The service was provided in a timely manner, staff knows what they are doing, and it feels safe to leave your belongings there. I got help from Denile and she was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and quick in providing services. First time impression was very good, recommend this place for storage.
My moms rented here and Angel was very nice to her. My mom doesn’t speak much about English so it was nice that angel spoke with her and helped out. The facility is nice all you see these girls do is clean. They have great attitudes. Thank you angel.
I had a wonderful experience, thanks to Crystal M. She was so pleasant and knowledgeable. She left no stone unturned. She explained everything to me, with clarity. She showed how I could save money and I walked away very happy, knowing my belongings will be in a safe and clean environment. Im glad my experience was with this young lady. I was skeptical at first, but I signed my contract with confidence.
During the visit Alysha was able to get me all set up within minutes and George helped show me around the facility in a very professional manner. All service professionals were helpful and knowledgeable and The facility was clean and up to snuff with expectations.
What an unexpectedly pleasant experience! We were using another company that we just werent happy with. I put in an online request, and the property manager, Tameka called me the next day. She was so helpful and nice to speak to on the on the phone that already I was interested in using Public Storage. I was concerned that I wouldnt be able to make it to the office before it closed for the day and she offered to stay late for us! We were able to get there on time, but was so impressed about how accommodating she was. Meeting her in person sealed the deal. She was clear and thorough and helped us get exactly what we needed. The facility is clean and accessible, and even though it is a little farther away from the city then we were originally looking for, it is totally worth it.

We had such a great experience at this location. It’s clean and has a good security system. Dom was especially helpful when we needed to transfer units on short notice. She was super friendly and accommodating.

I just rented a storage unit at this location, and thanks to the Property Manager, Lidia, it couldnt have been easier. She was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and patient. She went out of her way to make sure that I was satisfied with the location and size of the unit.The facility is well lit and secure, except the front gate needs to be repaired. I would definitely recommend this storage facility.
Marissa was very friendly and helpful. Very satisfied with her customer service. Wish the hours were extended, I feel if the security is truly secure we should be able to access our items with no limitations, especially for the amount we pay.

Great location, plenty of carts, and clean. I was helped by Trish-Ann to get a new storage and quickly leave my old horrible storage.This location is further than my previous storage but the access hours more than make up for it.

Alysha and Nala were truly outstanding. Easy check in, great sense of humor. Made the banal chore of storage hassle free and, dare I say it, enjoyable. Premises are clean and tidy. Access is good. Only request would be some sort of vending machine at least during office hours for buying water - cos who doesnt need refreshment mid move? This location is highly recommended.
This is my first experience using any kind of storage and so far its been great. The crew at this facility is always on point. Tamekas proficiency is refreshing. Tameka, Camille, Rosa and Jasmine are always helpful, courteous and professional. Their level of customer service is delightful. They give new meaning to the phrase service with a smile. Also, this facility is well lite and clean and has competitive prices. If I ever need to store anything again, this is the place Ill use.
I have been back and thery are still Better than Ever, and Sam, Dominique and crew are priceless! I must add without Sam I could not have moved my stuff in--great Human Being! Alysha Dominique Trishann & Alexis, Sam----ALL are GREAT!!! This is the best storage facility I have ever had and continue to have -- and I should know--I have storage places in London and Warsaw as well. The best group --I truly thank them ☺☺☺
So thankful this was the last step of our move. After a long tiresome day of packing and heavy lifting, it was a pleasure to be greeted by Aliyah and Dominiques warm smiles! Registration for the unit was quick and easy, at an affordable rate. The girls even shared iced water with my movers! Awesome service. Keep it up.

On 09/28/13 I went to public storage located at 137 Sawmill River Road to remove a few things. Upon my arrival I realized I didnt have my code to enter the facility. I pressed the assistance button and was met by a female voice, I later found out was employee Tameka, stating good morning how can I help you. After Tameka confirmed my identity she provided me with a temporary entry code. After giving me the code she pleasantly said thank you and have a good day.I then realized I needed a locked cart and went into the office to leave my drivers license. Inside the office I was promptly greeted nicely by the two women employees behind the counter Tameka and Tanisha with a good morning how can we help you.Realizing I needed a cart Tanisha got out of her seat right away and walked with me across the parking lot to unlock the cart. After unlocking thee cart and explaining when I was done to relock it she too very pleasantly smiled and said have a good day.When I returned to retrieve my drivers license both ladies thanked me for using the facility and said have a good day.Tameka and Tanisha are two employees with exceptional customer service skills and made my experience this morning very smooth and pleasant. No I dont know them nor was I asked to write this review. I took the time to write this review because its very rare to find employees like this. Today these two employees represented your company in a manner simply described as AWESOME!
Nadia, Shaquanna and Shaena were very helpful, friendly and courteous. They helped us find a bin that would be suitable for us, the facility is very clean and well maintained. The location is very secure but it doesnt hinder the ease of getting into the complex. Thank you, ladies, for making it a pleasant experience!
Nadia and Devon helped us and were so nice and patient and helpful. The place is clean and has many packaging tools in a good price to purchase. The process was easy and smooth as well.
My mother has a space with public storage. I was delighted to see the enthusiasm towards assistance during the renting process. the staff seemed well trained and knowledgeable so we were very comfortable purchasing their services .I would rate their service 5 stars as i have not experienced any complications or troubles as of today. I would most definitely recommend this place to a friend or family member if they ever needed storage in the future.

I’m a current customer at Public Storage and I barley come to my space so I had forgotten my code and where my space was so I came into the office to get help and Justine and Dominique were fantastic at being very friendly and sweet. I got my gate code and I got help finding my space. They also listened to my crazy stories and gave me great advice. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you girls.

Ive done business with a number of storage facilities over the last 20 years in both NY and CT. This facility is incredibly clean and up to date (unlike the U-Haul toilet next door). Angel was great in setting up the preliminary reservation, and Margaux showed me around and got my account set up. Possibly the best customer service experience Ive ever had. I highly recommend this facility to others.

Well I believe her name was Dominique. She was very helpful very positive and very chipper made me feel very comfortable about public storage and what I needed to do in this difficult time. Often times when you move your stuff from your house to a storage company its a little depressing but she made it very easy and very comfortable and to be quite honest I felt at ease that I knew that my stuff was going to be with a company such as Public Storage she walked me through the process and was very clear and concise I thanked her for being there . People like Dominique should be at every location.
The ladies at the facility are professional and well trained. Deciding to bring my personal items at storage scared me at first but the young lady Savana who did my rental was very helpful with everything. I also noticed how clean it was inside and out, it seems like a good place to store.
Good and clean. Nice staff. Only thing is the carts are locked in chains and if u are there early to move in/out stuff, u are out of luck bc staff don’t come in the same time as gate access time schedule.
Staff was always very friendly and helpful. Facility was clean and well-lit. Someone had tampered with my lock (they probably made a mistake); the manager was contacted and came right away to replace it free of charge. Got a lot of good, free advice from staff. If you have a car, this is a good place to store your stuff.
Horrible flooding problem. You will lose your stuff! READ THE REVIEWS. Most are FAKE posted by the manager. They get bonuses for their staff based on good reviews.
I want to commend Brittany and Jasmine S for excellent customer service. They were courteous used eye contact and had a pleasant demeanor answered quesrions in a timely manner and made suggestions on how best to protect my belongings. I was impressed. If and when and it should be sooner rather than later they should receive a commendation followed by a upgrade in their position

Parking lot in need of IMMEDIATE Repair. I have received 2 Flat Tires in your parking lot. There is broken glass and nails everywhere! Clean up your parking lot, it is unsafe and causing damage to my car.
I recently went to UHaul storage to accommodate my property. Devon who is an employee at the storage was extremely pleasant and courteous. He took the time to explain the different sizes and cost amount. Devon showed great professionalism and integrity in his job at UHaul. I was extremely honored to have him as the person who attended in helping me to find the right space. Job well done.
I came in today looking for a storage place because my family is going through some personal family problems but savanna made us feel very welcomed, even though we were difficult asking her to show us 6 storage spaces, she was very sweet, professional and humble . She is the employee everyone wants working for them! Thank you savanna for helping us today.
I want to give a belated shout out to Alysha. On August 29th, we needed a storage unit fast as we were in the middle of the move to Manhattan. We thought we could fit the furniture in our new apartment, but the movers said that it wouldnt work. While the movers were on the clock, Alysha was able to solve our problem by getting us a storage unit fast. Alysha was super helpful and friendly. I enjoyed dealing with her very much.
I scheduled a move-out to close my account. I arrived 15 minutes prior to 6pm and the employees in the office notified me that move-outs had to occur during office hours. They were wonderful and were going to wait for me after 6pm just so I could get my move-out accomplished that day. The staff has always been helpful, pleasant, knowledgeable, and dedicated to their patrons, which I believe is the reason for the excellent customer service I received throughout these years. Sadly, I had to move-out but if I need storage again, Im going to return to this particular location.
My first experience with this Public Storage location was a pleasure after a botched move with a professional mover. The property manager, Crystal was helpful in detailing what my options were and taking the time to show me the various available units and interacted in a very pleasant manner with my moving company.I have returned to this location on two separate occasions recently for additional units and found the same courteous professional help from the property manager (Crystal) and the entire staff.At a time when customer service seems at an all time low, here is a place that is heads and shoulders above the average.
The service here is just particular! Angel was so sweet and welcoming. She took step by step on the storage access hours , the offices hours , showed me several units. She was very patient and kind. Thank you angel !!!

Lanaija and Marissa were so awesome. I made a reservation online and they contacted me immediately. I was able to come in the same day and get my storage locker. Lanaija showed me how to protect my things the right way. Overall it was a great experience and a very clean building. I give this public Storage 5/5.
Came in to make a payment for my friend’s father and I had 3 young lady’s who were very professional and outgoing. They’re names were Justine, Angel, and Tiffany. If I ever need a unit I would definitely rent at this location.
I opened a new account and storage unit yesterday at the Yonkers, Saw Mill location. Elisa, a manager at this location, was so professional and extremely helpful. The experience was problem free, seamless and very pleasant.
Rented a space today and was assisted by Nadia. She walked us through everything we had to know about the facility and our space. She even went the extra mile to vacuum out the window sills and add a tarp in the unit. Nadia was very knowledgable, friendly and was a pleasure speaking with you have a great employee PS. Angel @ public storage has gone over and above the level of customer service that I would expect. Shes very knowledgeable and straightforward, no tricks. And always had an answer for any questions I asked. Its b/c how I was treated, that I rented an additional unit here. Youre the best Angel!!
Yesterday was the second time that we interacted with Tameka, one of the ladies in the office. Tameka has a great attitude, is respectful, efficient, and embodies what one hopes to find in a costumer service representative. I stopped by Public Storage today with a few questions on maybe one day renting a unit and was tremendously helped by a Dominique. Dominique was very welcoming and knowledable of the storage unit I would be looking for in the future that would suit my needs. She did not make it feel as if I was a burden at all to her and I when I am ready to make the move to purchase a unit I will defiently want her to help me closing the purchase. SHES AWESOME!!!!!!

I had a really nice experience finding a storage space here with Nadia. The place is accessible, clean, well-lit with ample parking and secure with gates which lock after 9pm. Prices are good too!

These ladies helped my mother tremendously with renting the storage unit she needed. My mother is elderly and doesnt speak much English. But these ladies had so much patience and had great personalities. Great service.
During a stressful moving time, Public Storage, and specifically Dominque, were incredibly helpful in alleviating stress. I was able to call in and reserve a storage space adequate to my needs and when I finally arrived at the location, Dominique greeted me with familiarity and gracious with all questions I had. Ive been storing here for a long time. I came in to pay and the girls there told me if I moved my room, I would pay $60 less. They picked out a room for me on the same floor to makes things easier, too. Great, efficient, helpful and so so nice! Thank you so much!
I had an awesome experience there. I went in with an issue and left out without one. I am very big on customer service and was flawed at the helpfulness and kindness that was given to me. Everyone was pleasant but Tanisha was exceptional and the difference between a good visit and a great visit.

I had gone in over the weekend and Im looking to move within the next 2 months. Im going to need storage for a short period of time and have been looking around to different facilities to get an idea of what my next steps will be being as I have never used storage before. The girl Marissa was beyond helpful. She answered all my questions and even showed me a unit that would work best for me. I recently had a great experience when making a visit to public storage to make a payment. At first I thought that because it was obvious that they had new staff/trainees that my service would be questionable , but just like Clockwork I was handed off to an Employee Chris who actually hadnt been at that location long , but was still able to deliver to me not only quality service , but also patience with my many questions, and still had a pleasant demeanor.

This was my 1st opportunity in leasing a storage space and after a few calls and family opinions decided to see in person the location and space:Location- was great -short distant off the highway,Facility - parking lot -spacious, storage facility was well lit and clean.Pricing - competitive i called 2 other storage facilities that was $10-$15 more.I was able to upgrade my reserved 5x5 room to a 5x10 on the spot!.And the whole registration process was done patiently and step by step byby the Storage Facilitator- Tameka.She answered all my questions and concerns.

This place is a joke. Complete destruction on their entire 4th floor. They pretend nothing happened. A honest business person would shut this facility down.
I went to checkout this facility for storing a piano and the staff (Dominique, Angel, Alysha and Marisol) were so helpful and knowledgeable. They took me to several different floors so I could gauge the temperature control myself. They understood my concern for temperature control good enough for my baby grand and recommended their facility around the corner (Nepperhan Ave) as having the best environment for my needs. They contacted the other facility and negotiated the space for me and all was ready when I arrived to rent the space. The staff at the Nepperhan location were just as professional and accommodating and I ultimately rented from them. I will recommend these two Public Storage facilities to my friends and family.
Great staff and really clean: Noelle and Angel are extremely helpful. I wish you could get in to your locker later at night(after 9pm), but I am very pleased with the level of security and would recommend this location to anyone.

The facility was clean and well-lit with plenty of moving equipment.However, without warning, I was slapped with a 15% increase in rent after less than a year even though I thought the rent was constant through my contract. Get it in writing!
Not only did we love the facility....what impressed us even more was the staff. We were greeted by Tameka in the parking lot who immediately said with a big smilePark anywhere and welcome! I of course only wanted to know where the Mens room was...while my wife went into the office. We were taken to many different size units...no attitude ,no huffing and puffing..just good old customer service. We did have a trainee on our tour Josanne..sweet ,and helpful as well. Actually whoever runs this show..should have Tameka train all employees..amazingly detailed oriented,courteous and patient..I do like to have fun when shopping and I did. Nardia was behind the desk and as charming as can be..I would imagine not easy when expecting first child in like 7 days. All in all..keep us the good work Public Storage..be good to these people,I take very good care of my staff....well taken care of staff equals productive staff.FYI...I am not related to anyone there. Side note..Victor seemed Ok ...he was on lightbulb duty...so I cant give him a fair grade.thanks all...Neil
Great staff and they were really helpful. I walked in there after paying for a uhaul storage next door and I stayed with them instead. Not only was the place clean but the staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Thank you Johanna!!
This place is very nice I’ve been using Storage here for 3 years in and off. The professionalism and knowledge of Dominique during my initial rental was great. This place is number 1 in my book for convienence and affordability.
When I arrived to rent my unit, I found out there had been a miscommunication and my reservation had been mistakenly cancelled. Angel and Sthaily help resolve my issue with creative thinking, empathy and a smile. They turned what could have been an annoying, maddening experience into a minor blip in an otherwise logistically challenging day. One doesnt come across engaged ,smart employees who take initiative every day. Angel and Sthaily are a credit to their employers. Beyond that, the facility was very clean and there is clearly pride in its appearance.
It was my pleasure to meet Mikiella today at Public Storage at 137 Saw Mill River Rd., Yonkers. She was such a pleasure to work with when it came time to lease a room to store my motorcycles. Professional, and courteous as we went through the paper work. I felt confident that I made the right decision as we walked and took the elevator to the unit. It is well lite and awesomely clean. My unit is climate controlled and you cant beat the cost for what you get with the hours of availability in going to your unit is great and the security thats in place is A +. I will store them here again next year.

Despite having difficulties operating the one working elevator, of two, the on-site staff at this location was helpful, professional and courteous. We managed to pack in my buddys stash, and left well before dinnertime.

The manager and all of her workers were very helpful and accomodating. They were able to refer me to a mover who was able to help me move and at a reasonable rate at that.My only concern and or suggestion is that they should have a dumpster on the premises for their clients use for recycling at either no charge or at a small fee of $50 so that the clients have access to something on the premises rather than having to make other arrangements.By not having a dumpster on the premises this can be an expensive cost for clients when they want to dispose of items that are old.I would definitely use this facility in the future.

Although my unit wasnt ready, the property assistant Angel was very helpful and tried her best to accommodate me. Her Courteousness and professionalism is what had me come back.
Like most people we struggle to keep up with the bills. I have been with this storage for a couple of years now, however never was I given the impression that someone really cared until I met Tameka. I was paying my bill (grudgingly) and she graciously, gently explained some options I have to decrease my hardship in keeping up with the increasingly inflation of space. Her outstanding personal demeanor was so nice to experience. Thank you Tameka for your gentle spirit of kindness.If there is one thing this storage needs its a RESTROOM. Think kids, women, THINK hours spent moving.

A better facility than the Public Storage building around the corner on Nepperhan Avenue (though the employees I dealt with at Nepperhan were very nice). Secure and pretty clean, I felt comfortable about storing my personal things here. I dealt mainly with Crystal, who was friendly, helpful, and professional. While you can take care of pretty much everything online, the only potential downside is the fact that you dont have 24-hour access to the facility. That being said, Public Storages prices are more competitive than U-Haul, which was the most important factor for me.

By far one of the worst places to store at! I lasted a year with out lights despite the numerous complaints about this problem. This property isnt well keep at all. The staff in the office always say we will fix it but nothing is done. I went with Cube Smart.
Very friendly staff at this location. However, the climate control is not so much controlled. I know its winter season but this location was freezing each time I visit here. YOu also have to leave your ID to use a cart. Other then that, all is good here.

The ratings must be fake. Ive been using them for a while and i dont see why every few montha the price go up. The city tax is the same, the doors are always broken, n the staff is incompetent. I would never recommend Public storage unless u have money to waste.

I loved this storage facility Ive been here from 2007 the staff is nice the place is clean. The only reason why Im leaving is the rent. It goes up very high and they dont consider long term rentals to give a set price.

2022-02-06As soon as you drive into the parking area, it looks unattractive. Not well kept with garbage spewing over the dumpster bin. Parking lot is in serious need of replacing and the elevators at time unreliable, will post photos next time.

2021-04-28I rented a 10X10 unit on 4/26/21, moved in my stuff on 4/27/21. I did the initial sign up online, which was fairly easy and user friendly. The next day, I went to the office and meet Shantell, who was very helpful and professional. She explained and answered all my questions and concerns. She directed me to my unit, where I found it clean and ready for me to move my stuff. I was more impressed with the customer service and care that I received from Shantell and her co-worker than anything else. I felt welcomed and a valued customer from the moment I walked in. 2021-09-10Flooding on this property is constant. If you have personal items you want to keep safe and not damaged I do not recommend this property. Very poor plumbing system. My storage unit has gotten flooded twice within a month in a half, insurance claim is a hassle they want to know every single item with pictures, the brand, the original price, where it was purchased and proof of receipt. Strongly recommend looking at another property not this storage unit.
