Pudgies in other cities:
I seriously love pudgies pizza , it is always made fresh , the calazones are extremely filling , the staff are the best in any pizza shop in Binghamton, I wish I could rate them with a 100 stars . I only order pizza, wings , etc from here because their prices are so low and the food is the best .
We had a houseful of hungry kids, so we placed an order. One gf pizza, a large buffalo pizza, and a sheet. Pretty simple. The new, untrained girl taking the order eventually read it back to us. After waiting over an hour for it to be delivered, we found that the sheet we were supposed to get was not made and was instead replaced with a large round pizza. My sister called and told them of the mistake. She was told they would have to take the pizza back (in the middle of a pandemic, mind you). I called and talked to a manager who said we could keep the large round and they would send a half sheet instead. He said it was the only way he could do this without getting in trouble. That pizza took an hour and a half to get there. What is wrong with this place? If you make a mistake, fix it.
Have been a customer for years. NOT ANY MORE !!! Chicken Speedie Salad had multiple pieces of RAW CHICKEN. Vomited and dry-heaved for over 15 minutes afterwards. Third straight order, chicken tenders were over-cooked. Dark brown and dry in the middle. Sad, because for years they had the best Chicken Tenders (quality and price). $70 dollar meal ... over $40 of it went in the garbage. MANAGER REFUSED REFUND. However, she did say theyd re-cook my food. No, thank you ! Too many mistakes lately and the raw chicken and rude manager sealed the deal. Best experience was delivery driver, he was professional and on time. One star because of delivery driver otherwise Id give negative stars if I could. For the record I worked for the food industry for years and I wouldnt write a negative review unless it was THIS bad. BEWARE.
I was introduced to Pudgies as a small child because alot of my family lived in upstate NY. Even when my parents would go out for a vacation w/o us they always brought it home as a treat. It was a nice experience to share that history with my son and my nephew yesterday when we popped into there Binghamton location yesterday and to me it still tasted the same. Delicious & hot with great service!
Wings tasted like a walk-in cooler smells . Also wings thrown in the container and sauce just dumped in the middle of the pile ..Pizza slices had spots that had no cheese on it , yet full of grease. No napkins given and the soda machine ill bet hasnt been cleaned in a while .... tasted nasty ...
Food is much better than the old days as they have re-invented themselves. But, on-line ordering was a complete disaster. Even one of the workers confirmed this. So, dont plan on that 10% discount for Bing10 to kick in...maybe its all a ploy to suck customers in at full price...I dont know.
Went to pudgies pizza on Robinson Street Binghamton NY today .... Food was okay but the service was terrible the people behind the counter where the rudest servers with an attitude that leaves a bad taste in your mouth...after talking others found that they had similar experiences with the staff they have lost many customers due to thier rudness and the server that I had didnt care at all that because of her rudness I would not be returning.
If I wanted little ceaser pizza that is where I would have went. That picture you have up is false advertisement the sauce is nasty not enough cheese and the crust was burnt your wings weren’t done and for as long as you took to deliver you’d think the food would be satisfying. Never again
BEST PUDGIES EVER!!!!!! Whenever I’m craving Stromboli, this is the only place I go! Huge slices, packed full of toppings, decent prices, and tastes like heaven!! Pizza and their saucey wings are super amazing also! the cashiers are always super nice and friendly. Would eat here every day if I could!!
Been coming to pudgies since it was on the corner of Robinson and broad avenue. Walk into today to order a pizza and wings (family pack) they call it. As I’m waiting a girl brings my pizza over and said we’re just waiting on the wings. I said ok thanks 20-30 mins later I go up to the counter and was told she’s saucing them up now. I said that’s great but now my pizza is cold she told me wings take longer to cook (no way lol) and I can REHEAT your pizza if you’d like...really? By this time I already ordered a slice of Stromboli and cheese sticks. Finally get the pizza home $60 later and it’s not even the fact that it’s cold it was just a horrible made pie. You can tell no one cares who works there but at the end of the day it’s my fault for ordering with Cortese right up the street. All these 5 star reviews must come from friends and family because it’s the worst most expensive pizza place in the area. If blaze pizzas line wasn’t out the door I would not be writing my first review ever. 🤮
A staple of Binghamton and surrounding areas, Pudgies is a great restaurant. Including various meal deals, they offer a nice selection of Italian style eats. Takeout and delivery is available, along with limited dine-in (due to Co-Vid practices). Affordable prices and delicious food.Check out pudgiespizza.com for a full menu
Ancient history here: 40 years ago there were no less than 4 pudgies in Binghamton. 1973 on Market St. in Corning was where me and my parents first had Pudgies. Believe me when I tell you that the distinctive quality, taste, aroma and even the Pudgies logo is unchanged from those days.Fast forward to nowadays - more menu options like sandwiches, salads, knots, and (obviously) online or phone ordering. Always a great choice to come here. Have never once been disappointed, just overjoyed !
Ordered for the first time tonight and wont do it again. My order was estimated to be delivered at 8:40 but did not arrive until 9:20. I understand that its just an estimate but fourty minutes past that time is excessive. My pizza is cold and I mean cold- it doesnt even feel slightly warm and the cheese has solidified like its been sitting for a while. My manicotti is hot but is also extremely burnt. The container it came in has a black ring of burnt crispiness around it. Seems like my pizza was made when my order was placed and sat out for an hour while my manicotti was forgotten in the oven in the mean time. The quality of it definitely should have called for them making a new one and never sending this out. If I knew my order was going to take an hour and a half for this quality, I would have spent my fourty bucks elsewhere.
Terrible customer service. Tried calling to order a pizza totally blew me off didnt even ask what I wanted. Just got a no we cant deliever its to late and that there to busy. And the girl on the phone that I got should be fired. Horrible attitude. Never calling again.
I was in the area and stopped by Pudgies. Initially I was in the mood for pizza, until I had seen the Pizza slices in their keep warm spindle. I then decided on an Italian sub. Basic questions, L, T, O? No onion please, do you have pickle, staff asks other staff do we have pickle? Other staff replies, yes, I like pickles after the Laurel and Hardy rendition, I asked if you have dill, Id like some. How do you not know? ask the sandwich maker! So the lady repeats my order, repeat the fact, that I dont want onions, to eat there. I get the sub wrapped, as if it was to go, NBD. Guess what was on my sub...ONIONS, and no pickles. Place was clean inside and out, and after picking off a half bulb of onions, sub wasnt half bad. There is more to the story which is also comical, but Ill leave it here.
The Waverly, NY franchise is one of the best in the area!!! The food is always good and every time we go to Sayre, PA we stop in here to grab a bite to eat. The one in Ithaca, NY used to be really good, but has taken a turn over the last years. Much more worth the drive to Waverly, NY!
UNRELIABLE! Pudgies didnt deliver on time to a pool party at the Y that was ordered online and I even called to confirm the order the day before! Binghamton store mixed up the time and I had 18 hungry little kids but no pizza! After 3 panic phone calls, Pudgies brought the pizza finally 7 minutes before we had to be out of the Y! They gave us a free order cheesy bread but the stress ruined the birthday party. Owner said hed call me back to explain why the mix up on time, but he never called me back!
This is the worst food ever. I had a sub from there and it was digusting. Full of thick cut ham that looked old and I hated it. I threw it away after one bite. They say the bread is freshly baked everyday...it reminded me of a mushy hot dog bun. YUCK. I ordered online and it wasnt ready when I got there. One guy sweeping and ignoring me and a girl yackin it up with some guy she knew. I had to get to work and just stood there. Waiting. And waiting. Never again. I hate their pizza too.
Dont bother... ordered on a weeknight. Pizza was completely burnt and I do not mean crispy I mean overcooked to the point it was all one color. Meatball sub, which as you know has cheese on it was wrapped in foil, and any 4th grader knows that if you wrap a hot sandwich with melted cheese in foil without wax paper first it will stick... Well this group of individuals apparently did not realize that. Oh and thanks for the order of fries, all 9 of them. YUP 9 of them. Plenty of other options...
Pudgies pizza is going to be the most exspensive pizza places in the area. The pizza for a sheet normal runs about $40 plus for a chicken speedie. The pizza are pretty low on grease and taste good overall. Pudgies actually recommends that you use there mobile app to place the order for you pizza to get a small discount. However be warned that the app that they offer is 3rd world country bad and the most difficult to use.The local restaurant does offer outdoor seating in there court yard and slices to go. The price for stromboli and slices is very high. The inside of the restaurant does offer seating inside also if you would like. Onsite parking as well.
Pugies has awsome pizza and more the pepperoni calzone is amazing also recommend highly their barbecue boneless wings if you like them extra saucy this is the place for you friendly staff great prices and anall around friendly atmosphere a great place to bring the family for a great meal
I suffered a 30 year hiatus away from any thought of a Pudgies while I traveled the world as an entertainer and nomad. When I discovered Pudgiess on Robinson St, in Binghamton a few years ago, I felt like I had won the food Powerball! They still carry the same products they dId in the late 70s to early 80s, while remaining the only pizza place Ive been to on planet Earth that makes such incredibly perfect, soft and deiicious pizzas. But, they carry several other Italian food items. In fact, two nights ago I ordered delivery of the chicken parmagan sub sandwhich. I had never eaten any thing else but pizza or strombolI from Pudgiess Pizza, formerly on Clinton St in the First Ward.Well, let me assure you it turned out, shockingly, to be the most amazing Chick Parm Sub I have ever had. The bread, their incredible sauce and two fat chunks of chicken breast escaped down my gullett pretty fast, and now Pudgies has received Godfather level respect from me for what most others consider just simple staple food,Next time you are starving for some pizza, or if youve never eaten there, I encourage you to make them a regular staple in your life, home or at parties.- CBMW
I grew up in Cortland and we went to pudiges and had their special, two slices and a soda every friday night before the weekly grocery run! Love the bubbily dough and the sauce and pepperoni! It is pretty pricey her in Binghamton, so we only have it birthdays or special occasions if requested.
Horrible food, horrible service. horrible owner, and horrible prices cant get any worse for a pizza place. This place should be closed down for good and never opened again. For a plain cheese pizza its almost $20 dollars, and its not even that good. Instead of Pudgies Pizza it should be Price Gouging Pizza.

2022-04-06Pudgies is so good. We got a medium pizza, 10 wings, a 32 oz soda, and some garlic sticks for about $45. Its a little pricey but definitely worth it for a once in a while meal. Im picky about wings but their wings were perfect and not too fatty or too soft. The garlic sticks are to die for. The pizza sauce is delicious. The tables outside werent clean and the wait was longer than we expected but those were my only complaints. Definitely recommend!

2022-03-20I waited and hour before calling and some how they messed up my address. They didn’t even brother calling me to get the correct address. I had to call them and it still took like 30 min. I called at 12:33pm and recalled pudgies at 1:37pm and the pizza didn’t get here until 2:07pm. Also the driver still pulled into the wrong drive way. Also the pizza was pretty much cooled off by the time I got it.

2022-06-08Pudgies Pizza is the closest thing that we will get to a 90s Pizza Hut. If you dont know what that means I would say just dont go. However for those of us who know what that atmosphere was like... the smells lighting and atmosphere are all reminiscent of then. Stopped in at the end of a road trip to grab a slice. The slice was great but not as good as playing the arcade game they had in the resturaunt Area 51.

2022-06-20Ordered the family pack, the digital menu board said $28.99 but it rang up over $30 before tax. I asked the girl about it she didn’t know and went and asked the other girl, i’m guessing the manager. She informed me nicely that the owner raised the prices and won’t let them change the board. It sounds to me like he is a coward and isn’t there to deal with the customers but instead has the nice girls working there to deal with it. I apologized to them for the trouble. It’s not like the board can’t be changed on a computer somewhere it’s on a tv. Other than that pizza and wings were typical Pudgies that we know and love.

2022-05-24Slow, super expensive, I mean it’s not even good. The only positive is that they deliver. Just get the papa johns app or grub hub, do yourself a favor and skip this!

2022-02-28The pizza was horrible, I rather eat domino’s then this pizza. I was told it was amazing so when I had the chance I drove over an hour away and it was a waist of time and money. Will never eat there again

2018-08-25What a patient staff they have as I had changed my mind several times. I finally decided on hot, garlic, and zesty wings. They were all awesome especially since I was starving to death. The garlic flavor was particularly delicious and possibly my favorite. My wife got a salad, that was good too.
