Pudgies pizza and subs are pretty good but not great. What ruins the atmosphere is the girl that works the front. Shes literally the worst on the phone and in person. Doesn’t say youre welcome EVER. Terrible service. She literally doesn’t say hello when the phone rings…..she waits for the person calling to talk first. Shes like yeah, uh huh- what you want. yeah ok. bye.I wonder if the owners of the store realize how much money she’s losing for them . Absolutely terrible employee that gives dirty looks and never says hello thank you nothing . No manners no respect ghettoo. I am never going there again because of her.
You seriously need to teach your employees some customer service. Also by the way your employee that is working tonight advised us that if we didnt like they treated customers to contact the manager tomorrow. We wont even bother with it. Its always been this way. Even before covid
Absolutely atrocious service .They cant even make two simple Subs correctly or an order of fries. Our entire order was backwards and made incorrect and when we called to have them correct it , we were treated like the villain. We even brought everything back to them and showed them and were still treated like garbage. Its not our fault they cant read especially when you order online. I will be adding photos and letting everybody know to never go to such a place again. I cannot believe we were treated like we were the ones who made our food wrong and made to feel like the bad guys.

Very friendly service. The subs we ordered were a bit lacking. Basically two thin slices of meat on a sub roll. I dont think Id bother going back. Its not pricey at all but at the same time you really arent getting much for your money.

Ordered my food and the lady that took my order didnt put it into the system right and I got shorted on my wings, over charged and half my pizza wasnt made properly. They had the decency to bring me a replacement pizza for the half of the sheet but said I would have to pay an extra 17 bucks for the other 20 wings I was actually missing. Make sure the person taking the order reads your order back or its going to be screwed up. Not happy at all.
The prices are absolutely ridiculous anymore. I understand a price increase due to circumstances but when a 2 topping pizza costs almost 30 dollars. Better clip your coupons or go somewhere else
Rude customer service at the front counter! And the snack pack deal was not great. Would have been better off going to aniellos ricos atlas ect. At least the customer service is better and medium pizzas are bigger. Will not shop here again!
I love their pizza and wings. One of the only 3 places I will go. Any time Ive had a problem, they were quick and nice about fixing it, replacing it, or compensating me for it. This is my go to for birthdays and just when I am craving pizza

Sad that I ordered a Stromboli for mother’s day and got an empty pile of dough. There was probably 3 pieces of pepperoni and a half a slice of ham on a “large” Stromboli. I don’t think they could have stretched it any thinner with out calling it dough pie! The solution to the problem was to drive another 30 minutes in the rain to bring it back to them. No credit, no money back no good faith. I support my local businesses and understand things happen but this was beyond disappointing. So much for not having to cook and getting a break. My lesson was just because something is over priced doesn’t mean your going to get the quality.

Absolutely love some of the long time employees at this location. Matt, Johnathan, lil Eric, Jeff, Casey and a few others are by far the most amazing people you will meet. They take pride in making sure there customers are pleased and keep coming back. Your not just a customer there, your family !
Ordered two slices each, for a total of 4 slices. Received an extra one for free which was cool. Pizza tasted old and was a bit dry, besides that, good service.
Every time I order delivery at least one of my sauces ALWAYS without fail will be exploded all over the inside of the delivery bag. Lackluster service from the delivery drivers, never really friendly towards me when I order. Last time I got delivery from here, the driver walked into my workplace to deliver my food without a facemask, which is kind of unprofessional considering you’re dealing with food service and I don’t want people who aren’t wearing masks to be delivering my food - also my work place is one where you MUST have a facemask on for entry, and the delivery driver ignored that completely and walked right in without a mask while there were other people and customers in the room. Doesn’t shine the best light on your business in my opinion.
I got the incorrect order THREE times. The first time the delivery driver actually gave us another customer’s food, let us bring it in our home, and then after we ran outside as he was leaving, took it back... all during a pandemic. Second time, he gave us our order but was short 10 wings. Third time we got an order of wings with a completely different name on them. Finally asked for a refund and they told us the most they could do was give us a $5 credit... like we actually want to go back? Never. Again.
Ordered a pizza tonight and not only was it stone cold, the lady I talked to about it was rude. She wanted to refund $8 of $24...Im not in the habit of ordering pizza and sending it back! Ordered from them numerous times over the years and tell them once that I received a cold one and they are not congenial.
I have to say the food is good but the customer service is lacking. I called awhile ago and got put on hold for two minutes so whomever answered the phone could finish the conversation with a coworker and just now got hung up on. I called to inquire about how long it would take when you put an order in online. I was told 20 minutes and before I could say another sentence was hung up on. I think I will no longer order their food out of the Corning store again.
The pizza was honestly so bad, the cheese has terrible taste and texture and the crust tastes like cardboard. the pepsi cup was filled with so much ice. would rather get water boarded but instead of water its james charles nut, terrible food, would not reccomend

Ordered a sheet pizza, what happened to your crust! It was so thin had a hard time keeping it together. If I wanted a thin pizza would have got picnic pizza. Get it together down there! When new owners first took over it was horrible food then it got better and now its getting bad again. Guess its time to go elsewhere
This place has gone down hill. Ordered a Stromboli and it was ALL dough. Nothing inside. A couple pepper slices and very little meat. Overcharging for Wings. Raising prices and giving less.
By far the worst pizza ever and the chicken wings where nasty ate 1 wing trashed the rest the young lady who severed me was so very nice but food wise will never eat there again and I feel sorry for any one who does. 45 dollars in the trash.
After my order was taking I sat and waited for half of my order i had called ahead and added a sub when I got there and it was done for several minutes sitting in the warmer. Before someone asked me what I was waiting on and inquired about my sub and finding out that it had been done. Not impressed.
Ordered sheet pizza, 10 barbecue wings, 10 medium wings, Pepsi, and root beer. Order over 1 hr ahead of time. Showed up and had to wait half hour due to store giving my wings to someone else. Wings and drinks wrong-not mine. Time pizza was at home it was cold. Talked with 2 mgrs and they did nothing. They said my wife and 2 kids came in and picked up wings right away- my wife was alone and no two kids. Mgr said I was wrong and never called back. Sent 2 emails and no response. Ate recently at the testimony and would not return. Overall the quality of the food was no better than what you would be able to get at a hot food station in a gas station. The pizza was greasy and low quality. They have other sections on their menu including fried food but again,not the best quality. Service was OK, it was a bit slow and our order was not correct. Inside there is plenty of seating are, the inside seems a bit dated and old but presented as clean.
I have loved Pudgies pizza in Corning since I was in High school in the 1970s. I could always count on that same great tasting pizza every single time. Last night I called to order a large pizza and the first thing I heard was a loud yawn into the receiver. The pizza was delivered quickly. Driver was friendly. The pizza was not was I have always been used to. The taste is different. Not sure if it is a new recipe. Not the taste of the Pudgies I have always known. Sauce was very bitter. Needless to say no-one in the family wanted seconds. I dont like the new taste and unfortunately wont be ordering again!
This was my first visit at this particular location. We had pizza and sandwiches. They make the dough fresh daily and its really good. The pepperoni pizza we had was very tasty, would definitely eat it again. The Italian sub was very good as well. We had a pretty large party (8 or 9) and moved tables around to accommodate us and nary a word was said....we also put them back when we were done. The staff brought the food to the table and they were friendly. We did have a problem with the sub but they added what we wanted on it and they cut it in smaller pieces for us as well. I lived in the area as a kid and was looking for that nostalgic smell from childhood of the dough as you walk in a Pudgies and it was FANTASTIC! I hope I can come back sometime soon....thanks for the good memories Pudgies! Come get a pizza!
Stopped for 3 slices of pizza, they said they didnt have any made and would take 15 minutes. We waited for an hour for the pizza to be done and there was less than half the pizza and little to no sauce and the parts that did had barely any chicken and no Bleu cheese. I am very disappointed.
They were rude when they contact my wife and I when using Videophone since we are both of hard of hearing and very rude to interpreter. I will not order from this business ever again. Interpreter inform me when the person hung up on me after I say what kind of chicken wings. Interpreter inform me that person was like I am very busy and dont have time to wait for person to pick up the phone.
Sorry I have to add it to this I stood in Corning for 2 weeks off of those two weeks I decided to eat at your location numerous of times you have a young lady there with a very bad attitude I ordered approximately 4 * and in three occasions this young lady had an attitude towards me I ordered wings she put them in the same place they were for different people and two occasions the last time I bring it to her attention she walked away with an attitude complaining but I didnt expensify the barbecue wings dont go with garlic parmesan wings there were two different people two different pypes of seasoning she needs to use her common sense I spend a lot of money in your place to be treated like s*** as a New Yorker Im very disappointed in her to your delivery driver thank you very much you follow my instructions so you can get to me faster with my delivery I gave him five star on his performance
We ordered a pizza there about 6 months ago. Ordered a large pizza with double pepperoni, we got very little pepperoni. the middle of the pizza was soggy and very little sauce. Tonight I ordered a large Stromboli, the crust was hard and little flavor and the end pieces hav very little filling. Im not going back!

The employee that waited on me I didnt catch her name but she had dreadlocks up in a ponytail and the most beautiful eyes she was absolutely outstanding and amazing and went above and beyond. I always love their pizza so that is a given just wanted to recognize the wonderful employee that they have.
It was very hot in the pizza shop. There was only 2 people working. 1 cooking, 1 counter. They have a delivery man also. I told them there was water on the floor rear entrance in the kitchen. Someone could slip.
Interesting, that they issue coupons and lose a customer.I was led to believe, from the employee who took my call, that theyd accept the price of the coupon even if we didnt have it. When we arrived to pick it up they said they needed the coupon and the employee lied about giving any indication that it wouldnt be needed. Seeing they took the side of the employee it left me looking like the liar. Needless to say, we left the pizza and were done with the Corning Pudgies.

Drove 20 mins to pick up pizza & wings, get home and find a hair cooked into pizza, wanted a refund, was told to drive the pizza back down for refund. NO BIG deal, I order a delicious pizza from Atlas on my way.Wings were good, i just had to finish cooking them in my oven.Thanks for the flat diet pepsi though.
I just got off the phone with the girl from Pudgies and I cant stress enough how rude she was. She answered and took my order, told me Hold on and started a conversation with another employee about something they couldnt find THEN hung up on me without a word when I told her Id call right back. Horrific customer service. Havent ordered from here and I dont think I ever will.
Call to order a pizza and the girl who answered the phone was very rude and hung up on me. If your going to run a business and want to keep people coming have you employees change their attitudes. Other then that i have always loved the food at pudgies.

We order from here a few times a month and although the food is great, the person who answers the phone is completely rude. Always has a nasty attitude, cuts you off, impatient and condecending. And I ALWAYS get her and by the time I get off the phone Im aggitated because you dont want to argue with someone who could potentially spit in your food.
First, we were told that because we had a coupon that we could not have delivery. Its there coupon so I dont understand the logic. Second, the pizza is not as good as the Horseheads Pudgies. Why? Arent they supposed to be a franchise using the same ingredients. Well drive the extra 10 minutes to go to the Horseheads one since we were told we have to pick it up anyways. I cant believe the sub I just got! I ordered 2 full subs, turkey for my daughter and hot ham & cheese dressed. Took 40 minutes to arrive 3 blocks from Pudgies and mine is a smaller sub (I had ordered a large). But heres the interesting part: the roll wasnt stale, it was HARD!, there was hardly any ham and cheese, the was 1, count it, 1 strand of onion, 2 thin small bits of tomato and maybe a tablespoon of lettuce! The ham was burned and there was a small hard piece of something I think was roast beef! I called to ask why my sub was so small and I get this story that when they make them on a large roll they get soggy (but I ordered a large!). Ive been ordering subs there for over 40 yrs! Never had this before and not sure Im ever going back!
Not the same Pudgies...pizza had hardly any cheese and hardly any sauce. The pizza had no flavor at all. Was supposed to be a large but looked more like a medium cut into alot of small slices. Love Pudgies but I definitely wont be eating at this one again.
I love Pudgies pizza but Corning pudgies is terrible. If they dont improve they will end up out of buisness like Bath Pudgies. I love to eat at Southside Elmira and Horseheads Pudgies. Corning cant be making their pizza by the Pudgies recipe and the blue cheese isnt the same as I have grown to love.

The food here has always been good. I quite enjoy this pudgies, the restaurant itself has always been clean and in good condition. The food is always made fresh and as quickly as possible.
No stars if it was up to me... I had a horrible delivery experience I called and told them about it and because they have my phone number and name in my system they always find a way to make every experience a crappy one... So I wouldnt recommend complaining to them... Even the boss is rude and will not compensate for any mess ups or late deliveries... I always get my food late... One time I ordered a medium and got a small (burnt) and was charged for a large... Just because they had my info in their system they screwed me cuz the boss said he doesnt care. That I complain.
This place is a joke and a half even under new ownership. I ordered 2 subs and the lady who took the order was rude and disrespectful . They showed up an hour later cold when they were warm subs put together sloppy as can be.... never again will i orfer from this place
This has been by far the best Pudgies I have gotten the pleasure of eating at. My brother and I both got subs and the ingredients were fresh the roll was toasted perfectly.
Tried twice to call in an order tonight. Got put on hold for an extended amount of time and neither time did they pick back up to take my order. The last 2 visits, the counter people acted like I was an inconvenience. Well I guess youll need another job after this place closes because if you keep this up, that is what will happen.

This is probably the best pudgies Ive ever been to. Theyre portions are insanely large and they dont hold back on toppings/fillings whatsoever. Make sure you try the loaded fries if you go!

So you order bunch of items and you want to use a coupon for 2 out of 6 items and they dont allow the coupon to be used on delivery, doesnt make sense when your ordering bunch of other things with the coupon items, good thing I dont order much from pudgies....

2022-03-12Ordered 2 slices of Buffalo chicken. It was probably the greasiest pizza I have ever had, I could not even eat it. I do not recommend. I would go to Rico’s or Aniello’s they have way better pizza.

2021-10-04I ordered online a large ham and cheese sub and a soda. My order was a couple dollars short for delivery so I had to order another item so I got Mozzarella sticks. My total was over $21 for one person then The order arrives in the ham and cheese sub had four slices of burnt ham on it couldn’t find cheese lettuce and one tomato small pc onion mushy and I live two minutes away I won’t order it from there again good luck I ordered online you should have the records

2022-04-27Ordered pizza and wings. Ate at the restaurant. Taste very good. Best to eat fresh, if you take home the moisture might change the food a bit. Some people dont like the customer service but I dont mind I go for food not to socialize.

2021-07-27After previously receiving excellent quality food, Im shocked and disgusted at what I was given this time.First, the name on the box of wings isnt even mine. Second, all the sauce that SHOULD be on the wings was all in the bag, despite being taken home laying completely flat. Third, the wings arent the same as last time- theyre much smaller and dryer.The fries we ordered with our meal were soggy and just plain disgusting. Instead of the sauce being separate from the fries, they chose to dump the sauce directly ON the fries. The only saving grace was the pizza.I dont think Ill be returning here again. Shame, really, because my first visit was very enjoyable.

2022-05-05I was excited to try this place because I just moved a block away and was so disappointed with my first order. Their special was Calzone. It was mostly dough and soggy. Then I tried their cheese slice thinking they cant mess up pizza and it tasted worse than cardboard pizza. The gas station down the street Dandys has way better pizza and a dollar cheaper. 3.50$ for a slice that should cost 1$ is ridiculous. Def. Ricos is way better and same price.

2021-03-30My FAVORITE pizza place! They have the BEST stromboli! I have been eating here since I was a kid! Everytime I visit Corning I have to go here! Never disappoints! Have not had anything I didnt like! Wish they would deliver to Florida! 😂😂 Highly highly recommend!

2022-01-13I just would like to recognize one of the employees at this business that often works the counter and answers the phone. My family and I love pudgies but haven’t t had the best service in the past, however every time that Patricia D is working and answers the phone the service is always on point! They are very polite with great and efficient conversational skills, honestly making ordering a pleasure. Having worked in the public service industry myself for many years I try to give recognition to employees that are a joy to interact with and good at their job, and that is 100% Patricia D. You should definitely consider them an asset to your business. Kudos Patricia D! Also- your chicken wings are the bomb 🍗💣😆

2022-01-22Called to place an order at 4pm Sat. Jan 22nd 2022. It was a bitter cold day at 12 degrees.Greeted with the wordspickup or delivery? I said hello how are you? The hostess said pickup or delivery? I replied Im great. Thanks! How are you? She continued to demand I answer her question pickup or delivery? I was trying to be friendly and fun...i WAS in a good mood. ..They hung up the phone. I will never eat at this restaurant. People with that type of attitude over the phone, make you question what kind of attitude will end up on your pizza.
