Horrible!!!! especially manager name is “Justin” he is ridiculous.i had a trainer named “marcel”.He started my session without giving me my diet plan and didn’t measures my body.i was keep asking him to give me plan.when i asked management to refund me they said they can’t since they have already paid to trainer.but finally after fighting and arguments they were agreed to refund my money.they told me 8 sessions goona be cost me $320 $40 per session.there were 8 sessions total.they charged me $450.
Push Fitness is great and I’ve had no problems with the facility or the staff. I used to go to their Fresh Meadows facility when I lived in Queens which was great but the New Hyde Park facility seems to be better equipped and much larger which makes for a better gym experience. All in all, great gym!
I have been a member at Push Fitness Club for over 2 years, and have nothing but good things to say about this gym It is always clean, very modern, well equipped, organized, has excellent staff, and the best part is that it is affordable. The weights are always in order, machines are well kept, and the locker rooms are like being in a five-star hotel. Ive been a member of numerous gyms throughout Long Island over the years, and can confidently say that there is no other gym I would go to but Push Fitness Club. I would highly recommend anyone looking into a gym membership to go to Push Fitness, you wont regret it.
Im not the type of person who goes to the gym for Zumba, Spin or any class, so I cant speak on that aspect. Ive been going here for a while now and I am very satisfied with my experience. During covid I was given a mask by the staff that allowed me to breath better while I worked out, there is staff moving around the gym constantly sanitizing equipment, and now they do vaccine checks and still take proper precautions to keep the gym clean. It gets packed at usual 4pm-7pm (rush hour) times, but never to the point where I cant do my workout. There are multiples of each machine, so if one is taken, you can use another. I would definitely recommend this gym if you are coming here to work out. If you want someone to roll out the red carpet, hand you champagne and wipe your a$$ before you work out ...go somewhere else.
Fantastic place to workout, Gym is so clean and music is always great when I forget my headphones. Staff is wonderful, Gabriella helped me sign up and helped me with any information I needed. Definitely join this gym if you’re looking for a great and clean place to workout.
I’ve been going to Push Fitness for about two months in New Hyde Park and it’s been an amazing experience. The gym is the cleanest around. The staff is amazing. Gabby is so awesome, she didn’t try to sell me we spoke on a personal level and she made me feel really comfortable she’s always been very accommodating and helpful.
I have been a member at this gym for years. There is a great friendly staff, the gym is constantly cleaned by the staff, and I am able to get a great workout in each time. I appreciate the amount of work that is done to keep the place maintained and clean. I strongly recommend this gym in New Hyde Park for anyone near by!
The first thing I noticed was that it has a very welcoming and luxurious feel to it and it’s a breathe of fresh air as it’s not like other gyms. The aesthetic of the front lobby is immaculate with the feel of a 5 star resort and the staff are very welcoming and very professional when it comes to the safety of members. Every time I come in I love seeing the koi fish and I love how organized the gym weight room floor was very machine is 6 feet apart or more so there’s no worry and all the weights are so easy to find because they’re always reminding members to put weights away after use. Machines and gym floor are cleaned every hour on the hour by staff. Locker rooms are amazing, never a piece of garbage on the floor and the air is so clean to breathe.
With the help of Mr. Eric Dejesus and staff, my membership has been a pleasant and rewarding experience. They are friendly and helpful when I used equipment improperly in the past. The spacious gym is clean, not intimidating, and comfortable. I twice left my locker open with valuables and left my phone behind only to return with no incident. I do recommend anyone to join in order to change their lives as it has mine. And even though this is the first gym I have ever joined, I feel fortunate and grateful to have made this choice of membership. Treat yourself, no one else will.
This gym has potential. They just need to get rid of Gabby working at the front desk who talks in an unwelcoming and condescending way. Unfortunately, she brings this establishment down. Im advising all my friends and family to avoid this place. Nobody wants to work out at an unwelcoming facility. Save your money!
I received a promotional ticket that offers a free guest pass to locals . The receptionist argued with me that since I lived 1.5 miles away I wasnt considered a local and charges me $10 for the day . I proceeded to tell them the promotion was misleading but the staff didnt react well to the constructive criticism... Oh well plenty of other gyms in the area.
The New Hyde Park location is so spacious, beautiful and so clean! The staff is friendly and they’re so diligent about cleanliness (as they’ve always been!)— I feel so comfortable working out here during the pandemic. 100% recommend for anyone looking for a gym that is luxurious, huge and clean at a really affordable membership rate!
Stay away from this gym. The staff is completely rude and all give you the run around when you have a problem. I have been trying to get a refund for an unauthorized charge dispute for over a month. Every employee I spoke said Id see a refund within 5 to 7 days. And now Im being told no one ever said that. What ever happened to customer is always right? I wouldnt recommend push fitness to anyone and I definitely will be terminating my membership.
My wife attended this gym until she got sick with cancer. She went in to cancel her membership and was given a form stating the membership would be cancelled and that month would be refunded. Not only was her membership not cancelled but they charged us the next 3 months. I spoke numerous times with Justin Horton the manager I guess who told me I would be refunded prior to being billed the next 3xs. I had to cancel any further payments through my credit card company. Still havent received an email or phone call or anything from Justin... Thanks pal!
First off, this gym is beyond gorgeous. The moment you walk in, you feel like you’re in a very high end facility. High ceilings, state of the art equipment, modern furniture, cool lighting...nothing is cheap here and you can tell they spent a lot of time thinking through all the design elements.Second, I get asked all the time how I feel about working out at this gym in consideration to COVID. I think of myself as a pretty cautious person and I can confidently say that I feel very safe at this gym. Their cleaning crew is constantly at work and very detailed. You can tell they spent a fortune getting the right set up and necessities to make the gym safe for members. Both Eric and Justin (managers) explained to me the new vent system they installed called iWave to help the flow of air. There’s plexi glasses at the front desk and in the offices. Classes have 15 minutes breaks in between for cleanup time. There’s circles in the studio indicating where students can stand to ensure social distancing. Every single person is wearing a mask.I wanted to be detailed in this review because I think it’s important for everyone to know the efforts put in place by this particular gym. It shows me how much they care about their members safety. When it comes to working out, we need safe places like this.
Take your money and please invest it elsewhere. There are so many gyms out there that are decent and will not force you to record conversations you have with management, time wasted in numerous phone calls, holds and transfers--- for when you want to place a freeze on your account or for when you do eventually decide to cancel.I could only confirm the prior reviews of customers experiencing money grabs and disregard for any form of providing decent customer service. If you want a gym that will save your credit card information and charge it months later (plural) with no end in sight for a refund by all means do join. Cancellations are a joke. You will be given the run around of speak to this employee, this manager (who often times leave the job or get fired), and all for what? TO KEEP TAKING YOUR MONEY!!!This gym has the worst management I have ever experienced. Parking is full all the time and you will get scratches on your car with how tight everything is. Joining this gym will be your own personalized money pit from hell.Save your sanity and please do consider the options you do have--- go anywhere but here.
The gym itself is very nice however they use a 3rd party billing management company to bill but the office manger is somehow in charge of sending people to collections without having any ability to check the billing system.I cancelled my Membership and 5 months later they sent me to collections because they never cancelled membership. manager refuses to acknowledge their own cancellation document and instead refers to me as a liar who’s making up a whole story. I would be very cautions and don’t take anything they say at face value. At the end of the day they are used cars salesman disguised as gym representatives. Spare yourself the hassle and go elsewhere..
Almost a year ago I reached out to cancel my membership because I was no longer in the area once COVID began. The manager told me if I sent documentation they would cancel it, and I did. They have continued to charge me since August for a membership I believed I canceled a year ago. Im now being sent on a wild goose hunt given all these phone numbers and emails in order to try to get this cancelled and everyone is telling me something different. Im in tears over how unprofessional this and how I feel trapped in this membership.
Push Fitness Club of New Hyde Park is an extremely clean and elegant club that is both welcoming and respectful of each member. Ive been a member here for over 5 years and these guys have a lot do with my continued overall success regarding health and fitness. However, before I get into all the things that initially made me wanna join, Id like to mention some precautionary Covid updates, and just how impressed I am with the steps taken by not only ownership and management, but by the front desk, in order to ensure the health and safety of some of the older and at risk guests.1) Temperature checks and health screenings are done before anyone can work out or even enter the building.2) Everyone is required to wear a mask at all times. I am seeing employees walk around constantly to enforce this.3) I noticed the cleaning staff has been wiping down surfaces and machinery at much a higher rate these days, (as you would expect, but still, it makes me feel a little more comfortable working out here.)I think what drew me in initially was the clubs emphasis on respect for the other members. Implementing rules like not slamming down weights, and wearing proper clothing, (like no ridiculously thin tank tops,) really created this sort of safe space/non-intimidating environment. Words cannot express how reassuring this was for an overweight 19 year old trying to lose a bunch of weight and tone up. The free personal training session and assessment that was included also really helped provide me with some guidance and direction. This was the first time Ive worked out in a place where the 25 pound plates are actually with the other 25s and the 45 lb plates are with the other 45s, etc... Its really just a bunch of little things done correctly. They also do something else that Ive never heard of before in my life. My monthly membership fee included all classes FOR FREE! Yoga, Spin, Pilates, Yoga, HIIT training, Zumba etc... This was an incredible way to try out something new while meeting some cool people in the process. And classes are still going on btw, (spread out, with masks. Its fine. You get used to it, I promise.) Shoutout Sajahs awesome yoga class for helping me destress and gain more presence through all this uncertainty.I love this place, thanks for everything guys.
Cleanest and most organized gym Ive ever been to. The bathrooms are clean and you often see guys wiping equipment down the floor or re-racking weights. This place also doesnt get overcrowded even during peak hours. I would give it more stars if only they had more squat racks and bumper plates. Also would be nice for more room for free floor exercises but everything else is good!
Never ever join this gym the staff is very rude they all even keep charging you when you have your membership canceled also so I would advise that never join this gym and the manager at this gym his name is Justin Horton he is also very rude. I am planning to file a lawsuit with the gym and with Justin Horton cause there gym does not even answer my emails and pick up the phone I will sue them now.
This is my 2nd time joining. I completed a 1 year membership and had to move job locations. I missed this gym so much I had to sign back up. I love all 3 facilities but New Hyde Park is my personal choice. A little more Upscale which I love. Its clean and has top of the line equipment. Never crowded. Has OK parking. Juice bar next door/indoor. Great friendly staff and trainers. Awesome gym. Love Becky my new trainer and over at College Point Anthony M is my favorite.
Signed up for personal training. I was informed and told its a one time payment for a package of 12 sessions. I only used 6 sessions and then they rebilled me for 12 more without my consent. Justin told me this was an error and he will refund the payment. more than a year later. I have still not received the refund and no body answers my phone calls or my texts. Do not give them your credit card information, They will keep charging without constent and never resolve the issue
I have been a member at two of push fitness facilities, couldnt be happier with the cleanliness and professionalism of the employees. Has everything a gym experience needs. The owner is a visionary within the fitness industry, well done keep up the hard work. Sometimes its better to support the lil guy than the corporately owned and run gyms like a LA fitness.
I’ve been a customer and member of the push fitness club at New Hyde park for more than 3 years.Throughout this entire 3 years I’ve encountered little issues with the employees or the gym but I didn’t care enough to actually complain about It.Things like employees at the reception desk ignoring me because they’re maintaining long conversations with other employees and/or other members and keeping me standing for longer than 5 minutes till I get helped.Employees using their phones and not greeting me or not even looking at me or even making eye contact. No customer service whatsoever.Reception desk empty for long periods of times.Etc.But today was different.Today I walked in with my will to workout and “enjoy my workout” like your loud speakers always remind us every time you guys make an announcement. But when I walked in I scanned my card and there were two employees one old woman and one short guy I don’t know their names. Both talking and chatting with each other and some other member, both noticed me both saw I scanned my card and I was giving my towel card so I can get a towel in return both saw that and did nothing and I got nothing. So I waited for around 3 minutes till they were done. And when they’re done. This old woman at the reception desk said that I didn’t pay last month. It was a surprise for me cause the payment is automatic and there’s always and there will always be funds to afford $40 for a monthly subscription. So I was surprised by that until I remembered I got a new credit card because the other one I had was lost.So I told them“Oh I remember now yeah I changed my card that’s definitely why”Then both said they needed the payment so I can avoid late fees or whatever.I said“Yes I know I’m sorry I lost my card and got a new one but my wallet is in the car so can I go workout and then pay when I’m done?”Then the short guy said“We need the payment cause you’re late and you’re gonna get fees”I said“I know but my card is the car can I go exercise and then pay before I leave ?” I was expecting a yes of course and a cordial smile from bothBut I got this response from the short guy while the old woman nodded in approval of what he was saying to me.“We need the payment, you’re late.Pay now.so go to your car bring the card and pay”I said“Then nah I’m coming and paying tomorrow”Now this is the part I do not understand.I’ve been a member for more than 3 years. So that should be more than enough to be able to workout and pay 45 minutes to 1 hour later. But not only my loyalty to the gym but also...I brought people who joined the gym because of me andI have over 14,100 followers on Instagram (more than your gym page has) where I post pictures and stories and I give you free advertising. So I do not know why this happened.Maybe because I’m Latino and I have brown skin?(the two employees are white)Maybe because I’m gay?Maybe because I have an accent ?What caused this to happen? I’m not a new member. I’m not a bad member. I’m not in a month to month basis subscription. And my method of Payment has always been automatically deducted from my bank. As most importantly I’ve been 3 years a member. So what happened?
Ive been a member of Push Fitness for over five years now and couldnt be happier. I had canceled a few years ago and it turned out to be a huge mistake. I rejoined last November after they opened a new flagship location in New Hyde Park. You get Equinox-like luxuries and amenities here for less than a third of the price! Were talking steam room, sauna, towel service, deluxe spin studio with big-screen TV, and ionic hand dryer. All three locations have a modern, upscale decor and are kept squeaky clean at all times. This includes the Fresh Meadows location, which recently underwent a major renovation, with new flooring, lighting, and showers! The equipment at the New Hyde Park and College Point locations is brand spanking new and cutting-edge, especially the rowing and dip / pull-up assist machines.Best of all are the staff, who are super-friendly and courteous and always make me feel welcome. Marisol at the Fresh Meadows location and Ellipto at the New Hyde Park location are always responsive to the slightest concern I might have. The personal highlight for me is the steam room at the New Hyde Park location, which is the only other gym in the area besides Equinox to have one. Its the best way to unwind after an intense workout and single-handedly makes my nine-mile trip there worthwhile. Simply put, you cant find a better gym value than Push Fitness Club.
I started my membership in New Hyde Park in April of 2017. At the time it was the best value for my area (I lived in Bellerose), and I really didnt have a strong opinion for or against it. When I was initially signing up the staff member I was speaking with was definitely trying to push paying for a personal trainer and the extras, but in my opinion it was not to the point of being rude. The facilities were clean and definitely had the equipment I was accustomed to, and then some. The reason I am leaving a two star review is as follows:On April 24th of 2018, I went in to the gym to cancel my membership. The employee at the front desk, Tiffany, was very polite and asked why I was looking to leave. I explained that I was moving a few towns over and the location was no longer convenient - especially since there was another Push Fitness down the block from my new home, which I planned to sign up for. I filled out the cancellation request form, of which I was given a carbon copy for my own records. Since I missed the 30 day notification window by a day or two my last payment was going to be in May, which I was fine with. When June came around I checked my card statement and saw that I was charged that month for my cancelled gym membership. I immediately called the gym and was put on the phone with an employee named Ursula. She apologized and informed me that there was a manager (that was no longer employed there) that was collecting cancellation receipts but not filing them, and that I was not the only person this had happened to. This raised a red flag in my head - the staff knew that this had happened, but did not take the steps necessary to follow up with those affected, and continue to take money until the customer noticed. But I was assured that if I scanned and emailed a copy of the receipt the issue would be taken care of, and that I would be refunded. The first email I sent to Ursula was on June 29th - no refund or response. I sent a follow up on July 17th - no response. I called again on July 20th, after I had been charged yet a second time, and was told the first two emails werent received. So after confirming Ursulas email address again (which I had correct both times already), I sent the scan again and was told I would hear back on Monday - and here we are - two months overcharged and counting.Needless to say I will not be going around the corner to sign up at Push Fitness Fresh Meadows.
Beware!!! These negative reviews are true!! Nasty front desk Gabriella Barretta belittles you as she speaks to you! She does not have communication skills for this job. Dont come here unless you want to be greeted with a fake attitude. This place would be fantastic without her. Too bad just Terrible!!
Staff is mostly very nice, the facility too. Unfortunately they don’t have a pool and don’t get in a contract if you’re not 100% that you’re want to be in it for a whole year. They will charge you anyways, besically it’s just money making and not being friendly to their costumers. Thank you Push Fitness Club that I had to pay 180$ for 1 month of usage.
I had been a member at this location for a little under a year and due to unforeseen circumstances had to cancel my membership abruptly. The initial cancellation process was extremely stressful and frustrating with the previous staff and I was tempted to leave a one star review with the lack of professionalism and help I was getting. However, this review is for JUSTIN. Justin came in and was professional and eager to help with my situation. The countless times I called, he never once dismissed me. This club is extremely fortunate to have a supervisor as friendly, compassionate and dedicated as Justin. Thank you once again !
This review is a year overdue.I was a member for three months in summer 2018 while I was living in the area. The gym is very clean and kept organized which I will give them credit for. However, I will never go back to this facility because of how annoying the personal trainers are.First, I was completely mansplained by a trainer, he is heavy set, Caucasian, bald and always wears a hat. I was NOT his client nor did I ask for his opinion or help. I was minding my own business working out one day. He came up to me and tried to explain the exercise I was doing. After stopping him and telling him I was a physical therapy student (aka I have spent now 2 years in a doctoral program STUDYING EXERCISE) his response was that there was “liability” so he had to come over and tell me how to better perform the exercise. The exercise was lateral band walks and I can promise you, having a band around my feet IS NOT A SAFETY CONCERN. Nope—you wanted to demonstrate your misogyny and you utterly failed and I am embarrassed for you. I found it extremely ironic that I would frequently see his clients using improper form when he went out of his way to critique mine.Second, there was another personal trainer who would try to get me to sign up for a session with him at least 1x a week. He was shorter and AA. I get it, it’s your job and you need to market yourself...but I think 3 consecutive weeks of saying no means I am not interested. I would also just like to add that I have seen him use the SAME EXACT ROUTINE with MULTIPLE clients on the same day. So you’re not paying for anything individualized from their personal trainers.Honestly if you are not a woman I can see how you have no problem at this gym. However if you don’t want to be mansplained or bothered when you work out then do your self a favor and find a membership elsewhere.
Hi,I have a membership with Push Fitness. I told Elipto the manager that I may need to cancel my membership due to an injury and specified why. His response to me was its a shame as a woman if you cannot make it to the gym once a week. After that remark I felt it was very unprofessional and felt very uncomfortable to be in his presence. Ive called / went by numerous amount of times to speak to a manager and no manager was ever available within the past month. I was given a form to fill in when I went in this past weekend to cancel my membership and left proof of a letter directed to Push Fitness from my Dr. prohibiting me to use any equipment. I waited over 72 hours to receive no response from a manager. I have a record of numerous calls made and consistently I was just placed on hold. I had a conversation with the manager Elipto finally today after 5 attempts calling and his remarks to me is Let me see your account. I can freeze it but you owe five months payment. I have people with no arms and legs that still come. He received the letter from my Dr. and refuses to cancel my membership at no cost. Due to his lack of professionalism I now have to hire a lawyer to dispute this. When I told him this he challenged me on the phone and said go ahead. If this is how business is ran I assure you I will not be the first nor the last customer to leave this facility due to the treatment received.I have been unable to attend and have been paying for the past 8 months. Ive only been able to use the facility probably 4 times. But Elipto wants me to either pay out my membership of $240 or he can cancel it and charge me $250. He refuses to waive the cancellation due to a medical matter. The Dr. directly wrote a letter to Push Fitness to prohibit me from using the facility. I also had to prove to my Dr. I am not going to the gym by providing him proof of membership usage to the gym. Elipto is aware of the conditions and state Im in and at this point Im being forced to use a facility therefore, Push Fitness shall be held liable for my condition and unnecessary stress added to my life.
Extremely expensive! Over priced for what they offer you! Better off joining LA Fitness close by or even better, planet fitness for $10/mt. These guys are crooks.Message to gym: come back down to earth. Your gym isnt that great for you to be charging those ridiculous prices and stop harassing people that reuse to get scammed by you.
All three stars go to how well the gym is cleaned and how nice they present themselves. You can get this equipment at any gym, but can you push at push? No, if you like H.I.T trainning or anything that requires intense circuits make sure you tip toe and dont push your self. Unfortunately in order to do that you need to pay the staff. I was doing my circuits and was told to stop because I was being to loud (no not grunts ahah) and respectfully left. 5 min after a personal trainer showed up and started working w a client doing the same exact exersise. Im not bitching and moaning... I just dont want people that have expectations of being able to do specific exersises to sign up for this gym and be blind sided like I was. Cheers for good branding though. All in all I like the gym because its well kept and its close.
Honestly Pushfitness is a great gym, the atmosphere is positive, its stays clean, the Daycare is great, and it has the newest machines to date. I think anyone that gives Pushfitness a one star⭐️ prolly really never works out. If you want a cheap gym and want to wait on line to work out on dirty old machines for $10, go to planet fitness 😂
I was originally working out at the Fresh Meadows location and currently live in Fresh Meadows. Everyday I drive the 15-20 minutes out of my way, take 2 highways and most days sit in rush hour traffic to work out at the New Hyde Park location. Filtered water, clean gym, friendly and welcoming staff, as well as many different classes and good parking. I love it here, and even the members here are more or less friendly aside from the occasional roided-up gorilla juice monster. One thing I would prefer though is if Tony switched out the current Gravitron/assisted pull-up/dip machine for the one he has at the Fresh Meadows location which allows you perfrom the exercise from your knees as opposed to standing. Again, this is a matter of preference but maybe Tony and the staff can just look into making that switch or even just having both as options. 5 stars, would recommend to anyone.
They are very racist in that gym, I am Indian and everytime I go to the front desk to check in the guy in front use to call me bin Ladin or terrorist and laughs about it to my face then say he is joking. Some black guys came in and I over heard the staff saying they dont want those kind of people here. I was cool with some white members of the gym until I walked into their convo in the locker room saying that they need to deport all immigrants in this country because they make USA a terrible place to live. Lastly olypto the manager who works there harasses me when I work out saying I make too much breathing noises but he only did those things to colored people and that was the last straw for me. Ive honestly never felt so discriminated against in my life and dont recommend colored people to go there.
Always see cleaning staff working. Very clean. Very close to my house. Parking lot but a bit small to accommodate cars even when not in peek hours. Equipment is plentiful for most people. Have not gotten in to classes yet. They appear a bit intimidating as none of the classes are specific for beginners.
Stay away from this fitness center. The manager Eliptico is terrible!! It does not even deserve one star.a picture of me lifting the plate. That was thanksgiving Day. The following day, Friday,, after my workout was done, I was leaving the center but, I inquired about my renewal. The person at the desk
I had to pay $15 for a one-day pass because I couldn’t use my friend’s free guest pass because I “don’t live in the surrounding area”??? Where does it even say that??There’s LITERALLY a sign that says members have unlimited guest passes. I was going to sign up, but forget this place. Stay away.
This fitness club is not worthy joining , unprofessional staff, there was no prior information that my 1 year contract is about to finish, please contact, they charged my money from the account ,then too we were not availing the facility, not even bothered to do correspondence members to find out why the member is absent, its a big shame for such fitness club.
Push fitness is from far the best placeI’ve been there for a year, I had to cancel my membership for personal reason, I tried different club around and I came back to push fitness. It’s a bit more expensive than other club but well worth, the space is great and clean, a lot of machine, you don’t have to wait too long to use a machine worst case you’ll have another available while waitingMember or staff doesn’t stare at you while working out

2022-02-21Best gym in the area. The gym is always clean and they always have staff wiping down equipment. Throughout the pandemic I have never had an issue freezing my membership and they dont charge a fee to pause your membership. They have the right amount of amenities: sauna, steam room, showers, spin classes, and a well equipped studio that is spacious and always neat. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a clean luxury gym at an affordable price.

2022-06-13I’ve been at Push for over a year and it is one of the best gyms I’ve ever been at. It’s always being cleaned there are so many different machines and a lot of benches, squat racks, and smith machines so you never really have to wait to use anything. The bathroom is always clean. And the gym is never too packed. All the workers are very nice and helpful and the gym itself has a very good vibe overall.

2022-04-28After trying many gyms around the area I realized how clean Push Fitness is. Staff is always making sure everything is clean, the members are super nice and respectful, and my mom loves the various classes they offer. The personal trainers are all very knowledgeable and care about their clients.

2022-01-09PSA: Do not come here if you live a in an demographically minority area. You will be denied entry. Wasting your your gas, time, and feel discriminated against. Please do not pay these horrible people money. I understand if this gym is local to you ,convenient, the amenities are nice, but please know you are supporting an extremely discriminatory business. They discriminate against people who live in certain areas even when you pay their membership. They also claim they offer a free guest pass but that also does not apply if they see on your ID you live in a minority area.I spoke with a manager there, as a current member and was called a racial slur which just cemented my suspicions. I am sure their entire staff does not think like this, but this manager and especially their corporate policy is extremely discriminatory.I will be consulting with my attorney for possible legal action.

2022-06-20I have been a member almost abt a year. Professional people, trainers are visible when u need them and clean. The Cooling system needs some improvements sometimes it’s hot inside during summer. Otherwise this gym is nice clean , big enough to serve the neighbourhood.

2021-11-10The gym is nice and the cleaning staff does a good job. Whenever you need to speak to the manager he is never available. They will take your money readily but drag their feet when it comes to account freezes, cancellations etc. The manager of the gym is consistently working out vs helping customers. It doesn’t matter if you go 10am, noon, 2pm, 4pm. They need better oversight so the manager is actually present for customers.

2022-04-27Im going to start off by saying I’ve been going here for almost ten years and have brought in many new members. The gym equipment is literally falling apart, they cater to an older crowd, and worst of all the mangemnet “justin” is a very angry man with a disgusting attitude problem. I Thought he was racist at first but turns outhes just a bad human being to you unless you’re a girl. 🤷♂️ (how someone like that could possibly be the face of a fitness club is inexplicable to most of the gym members and employees).

2022-06-14Extremely rude employee. Was looking for a gym to sign up for, signed up for a free pass online and was rejected at the door. Apparently fresh meadows queens is not local enough. Employee told me I can have a walking tour but cannot work out. That’s like telling a customer to only look at pictures of a shoe and can’t try it on. 😭😭😭
