Over these past 2 years, I’ve never had any complaints of this story until now. Went to shop here for a late night snack, only to walk towards the register to see the Asian woman at the cashier with her camera in my direction. Seems like many folks of color have had similar complaints. Won’t be shopping hear unless I hear a response fromcorporate.
I had a negative experience in this place. First the guy in the grill and the other person in the cashier were very rude. When I was to place my order the grill man had an attitude and walked away like you know I was taking to long to decide .After I ordered , I sit waiting for my food to be ready. After a while I went to check if it was ready (before the other staffs let you know that your order was ready and give it to you in a platter) my food was ready, I dont know for how long and when I said to the guy that we wanted to eat it there and Why my food was in a bag, he said oh just take it from the bag. They were very rude. The one cooking and the two in the front. They have to learn that without customers theres not business. My family and I used to go frequently to this place but Im not going back again. 😡
I love visiting Q Mart for a few reasons. They make great sandwiches, they have one of the largest Boars Head Delis in the area, they carry a huge variety of specialty foods and beverages that you dont see at any other stores in the area. I like to pick up unique drinks, special Asian noodle soups, and mochi ice cream art Q Mart.
The daytime deli man is rude, does mot pay attention to grill when cooking something. He also gets arrogant when you try to correct him or your order. Now the Spanish evening deli man. Listens to your order and is very concerned in preparing it just right. Otherwise the place is pretty nice.
Started off as a good place. Now the workers are rude especially the guy making the Sandwhichs. I havent gone in a while so decided to just go again hoping they changed back to being a good place. There is no one ordering so thought I be out quick. Wrong!! I waited, the guy looked at me a few times but kept walking away and not say anything. Then when he did decide to take my order he goes with a nasty attitude yo, what do you want.. After that a Co worker of mine walks in to order somthing as well. The guy behind counter goes yo what you want, what you need, come on once again with an attitude. Not only was there an attitude, my Sandwhich was done wrong.Another thing is I got somthing from the shelves since they had it for a cheaper price on price tag (another Co workers buys it alot for 2.99 here) when Im checking out I see its $5. I told last the selves say one price and its been bought for quite a while now for the price tag price. Rudly she says I know it has that price we just put it there but its $5 take it or leave it. (not complaining because Im not cheap, its just the concept of whats happen)This was a place I always went to everyday before work and for my break, now I wont ever go to them again. Everyone at my job stopped going to them.
Q-Mart has everything is a gourmet store supermarket grocery store they have delivery service websites friendly and knowledgeable staff and they accept food stamps and cash and credit cards but Im not sure about gift cards you can always ask and that goes for checks to you can always ask if they accept gift cards or checks they have pet supplies soaps and other things everybodys friendly there and knowledgeable I always order from there when I get a chance and Im very appreciative appreciative do you have a place when I am not feeling at well and cannot go out whos someone who is disabled so they make an effort for disability people and regular people when the weather is bad for them but for people who are disabled and handicapped and elderly and homebound and wheelchair senior citizens to come to your house and help you out with deliveries so go and check out Q-Mart I did and its a great place to go and shop quiet friendly easy place to shop sincerely yours truly Charles storms Jr

2021-02-22The owner of the place is very rude and refuses to take in people with service dogs. He challenged me saying my dog wasn’t a service one and warned me about not coming back to the place with it. I tried talking to him explaining my condition and that admitting service dogs was not a courtesy, but a mandatory law. Of course, I didn’t come back and filed a claim with the NY State office of the Attorney General. I’m all up for supporting local businesses, but won’t use my money to support one that insults people with disabilities and that has such low respect for the law.

2020-07-31I’m white and got followed around the store at first too when I moved to the neighborhood. Lots of aisles and hidden spots so they have probably had theft. After months of shopping here weekly they know me so now I’m free to wander around without supervision ha. Sweet people and willing to order special stuff.

2019-01-08Nice, clean place. This place is better than youd expect. The bagel sandwiches are nice and well-crafted. The selection of groceries is surprisingly diverse and includes things such as Asian noodles, gourmet shapes of Italian pasta, all kinds of flours, tons of fitness-conscious snacks, on top of vegetables and cheeses.

2017-06-14Pretty nice (somewhat upscale) grocery store! A great addition to the neighborhood. Have a good selection of food items including gluten-free items and mochi ice cream; their non-food selection is not as good. They have a deli counter as well but I never ordered from there.

2017-05-18A little bit on the pricier side than grocery stores nearby for some items, but they do have an impressive array of various food items, as well as a fully stocked deli for ordering food to go.There is also a little bit of space to sit and eat, if you wish right by the window.Edit: I have to also add that every time Ive been here, everyone has been so nice to me. The deli guys are great and make the best bacon egg and cheese sandwhiches. Their coffee is also superb. The people at the counter always smile and are so sweet.

2018-10-26This is my FAVORITE place to get a bacon egg and cheese in the entire city. The bacon is thick and crunchy and real! No turkey bacon unless you request it. They have everything you could want in a deli sandwich, as well as an entire healthy grocery store. Every thing I get here is solid, every time. They have great quality control.

2018-06-17Great place when you want to run in and grab a few items real quick. They also have a deli counter with meats, cheeses, and salad building items. An ice cream freezer stocked with tempting Ben and Jerrys ice cream demands attention as it tries to block access to check out. The location has tap and pay aiding in your quick getaway.

2018-11-22This is the only place I can get some good vegan stuff in my neighborhood, but I literally get followed around every single time I go in, and its always very obvious, so I have to avoid it on days I dont have the patience for it. Some of the staff is really nice, but there are clearly some negative racial biases that need to be confronted.

2016-04-02My girlfriend and I both love Qm. Im very impressed with the amount and quality of products here. I almost replace it completely with the grocery store. I would give it 5 stars but one of the sandwich/deli guys who wears the hat is incredibly rude. Other than that its a great place!
