I hoped to be able to see the Falls from the hotel but I couldnt. It was fine though because it was within walking distance to the visitor center, food places/stands, and the park where you can see Niagra falls. We didnt even have to drive to get to the falls we walked 🤷
Stayed at the Quality Inn 6/17-6/18. I was not expecting a 5 star room but I was at least expecting a clean room. The trash from the previous guests was not disposed of. The sheets smelled like perfume, which led me to believe they may not have been changed. There were no large towels in the room for drying off. We also found random items in the room from previous guests that made it very obvious there was no effort in cleaning. If I could I would give this hotel no stars.
We stayed here a few years ago and it was nice, this time i dont feel the same. I feel like they let the place go, it really needs updated and some general repairs. We paid for a double queen suite, our room was so bad, air conditioning not working, dirty linens, other signs the room was not cleaned, livingroom no remote control for the tv and the one in the bedroom was broken and needed you to hold the batteries in to use it. I asked to be moved to another room, had to take a down grade to a regular room no suite, but at least the air is starting to cool the room, it only took an hour. I would not recommendthis hotel unless it was free.
I paid $300 for this room to only stay one night just for it to had a smell of old frying oil. The floor were dirty. There were trash under the bed. Tv was crooked. Bathroom door was difficult to close, have to pushed in hard for it to fully close. Toilet paper holder was broken. The towels have smell. And the wall was thin so I could hear the baby next door crying.
Positive: It¿s near the attractions. Negative: Not enough staffs. Room they assigned us still have underwear hanging in the closet. Gave the 2nd room, the toilet is dirty. There¿s still #2 that wasn¿t cleaned. No towels in the room. Tried calling. I had to go down to the front desk to asked for
Im not recommending to people who wants to stay at this hotel. It was the worst experience ever. Dont believe to “free breakfast”. There was only waffle maker, orange and corn flakes with a huge line. And also hotel was dirty and smelly overall. Our room was okay otherwise I couldnt stay. The only good thing is its very close to falls. But if you have a car you can find cheaper hotel with the better quality.
Location, location, location... the rest is just bad. The hotel is in 5 min walking distance to Niagra Falls and thats the only good thing I have for this review. Ive stayed at a ton of Choice Hotels in America and this one is hands down the nastiest one Ive ever visited. Its all about location here when staying at this specific Choice Hotel as you probably came for the falls and not to hang out in the hotel. The included breakfast is horrible, worst Ive ever seen through Choice accross the USA served in a dingy bar tucked away in the back of the hotel, the pool/hot tub area is rather nasty (cigarette butts on the ground in an indoor pool area) and mildew in the wet pool area plus the rest of the place is old and rundown smelling of cigarette smoke. The rooms are just ok and not very clean feeling... this place has a very Vegas scuzzy vibe and I would not recommend a stay here unless you are using points or just really dedicated to collecting the rewards as there have to be better/cleaner options in walking distance to the falls. There is also a very good Indian Food cart called the Dosa Hut across the street on the corner. Highly recommend them for food also... however, once again do not recommend this run down hotel so much when visiting Niagra Falls!!!
Had rooms for 3 nights reserved with a confirmation number and when we got there, they said our rooms were canceled. So we had to find other accommodations for our stay...It was our 25th Anniversary and didnt know what to do...We will never stay at a Quality Inn Hotel again...I guess our money isnt Good enough...I hope you feel the same way after reading this...We found a place, are stay was great there, but NO THANKS to Quality Inn...😳🤪🙄😏😏😏
My room was dirty. found a towel behind the bathroom door from previous tenant. Found popcorn under the seat of the sitting chair. Found popcorn under the bed.Toilet paper shoved in the door stop in restroom bc the pad was missing.Door didnt lock when we left for the day leaving our stuff open for the taking. The door was fixed when I told the front desk, then the dead bolt didnt work at night.
Possibly the worst hotel experience we have ever had. Breakfast was absolutely terrible. NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES. There were 2 types of cereal, 1 bagel, and some microwavable eggs. That was it. No fruit, no fresh bacon, or sausages. Rooms were not soundproof. The door to the room is lighter than the door to my closet. We could hear everyone walking by/talking normally all night long. The AC/heater is louder that a 90s diesel RAM, but it did help drown out some of the neighbours chit chat. The windows are also very poor, whistling all night long because if the wind. Seems like nothing was updated since the 80s, other than furniture and electronics. It was so bad, we almost considered driving back to Canada the same night, but stayed only because we wanted to enjoy the American side of the falls. Guess I missed the memo, the American side is the Oakland to Canadas San Francisco. Avoid at all costs and stay on the Canadian side.
This place is a dump Priceline booked us this hotel for the weekend and we were very unhappy we lost money because we refuse to stay in this place and Priceline refused to refund our money. I am disabled we had to walk to the hotel because there is no parking room was dirty door coming of hinges smelled awful this place is a zero star
Hace 1 minuto en GoogleDirty place, in the website said recently remodeled, which is not true, in front dest said it was one year ago, all is old and dirty. The only thing looks clean are bed. Yes this place is close to niagara fall but DIRTY!!!Suciooo por todas partes!!! Dice que fue remodelado recientemente lo cual es mentira!
Don’t recommend at all. Found bed bugs and cobwebs all around the room & seen a roach crawling on the tv, the bed sheets were really dirty, cigarette stains on the floor there was no room service, they kick you out on your birthday don’t stay hear unless you want to spend your money. I would give it 0 stars if I could never again.
This hotel helped us a lot when we were snowed in during the recent snow storm. There were no restaurants open, so we survived by using the fridge and the microwave in our room. Also the laundry machines helped us to extend our stay without worrying about clean clothes. Thanks a lot!
Positive: Location Negative: Restaurant was never open but advertised open every day and staff had no answers. Safe didnt work Phone didnt work Clock didnt work Shower door didnt work Bar advertised as open every night til 12 and staff said til 12 notJacuzzi wasnt hot just war
This hotel needs attention to its cleaning; including the hallway & rooms. The Keurig coffee maker was extremely dirty & not used. The buffet needs more options. Although the buffet area was clean & continuously cleaned; the eating are needed to be vacuumed. The staff was great. The on sight washroom was great but needs improvement. The wash sink was not attached & cleaning is needed. The smoke room was good. The gift shop was greatly appreciated & nicely stocked.
I’d give it zero if i could!!! Pool was closed when i got here and when it reopened it was disgusting! The room i reserved was NOT what i got. I got a jacuzzi tub and 1 queen bed and i got a room that didn’t even have a tub in it. Also the bar was closed. Staff was NOT very helpful. Basically just said not my problem. I wish we could add pictures
After getting turned back at the Canadian border I needed to spend the night in Niagara Falls to wait for my COVID test results to be admitted. This hotel was located in close proximity to the border and was convenient for my purpose. The room and facilities needs better cleaning, especially during these COVID times. The wifi is spotty, the breakfast had expired pre-packaged goods, and I was charged $12 for a resort fee that I was told would be
The room itself and the hotel location were great. Everything else needs an upgrade and the breakfast was abysmal. The room was large with good beds, a desk, easy chair, etc. but there were dead spiders in the corners, a soap bar left over from earlier visitors, and a heavy draft from the window.Stairs were taped up because of broken and sharp edges, one elevator was not working, only half the employees were friendly and the breakfast was plastic wrapped muffins, a bit of yogurt and cereal and the possibility to make waffles.
Positive: Breakfast was better than I expected (microwaveable breakfast sandwiches and waffles - in addition to the regular cereal, yogurt, & packaged muffins). The juice dispenser seemed broken but bottles of juice were in fridge. Location is walkable to Falls. Negative: Bathroom was on the smaller side and the batteries in the tv remote were dead. No hand towels for sink.
I was disappointed that I had to wait several hours while they cleaned the room before I could enter. The service was laid back to super rigid depending who you dealt with. Im not sure everyone received training for customer service and hotel policies. Once I was able to access the room, I was dismayed to find dust and leftover soap in the bath. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything. I feel it was overpriced for the condition and amenities. With so many other hotels right in that area, Id rather stay somewhere else next visit.
This hotel is located in walking distance to the falls. The rooms are pretty decent for the price and there is a really amazing pool and hot tub that is open from 8am to 10pm. The hotel has 2 parking lots that are often full. In that case, they give you a free ticket to park in a garage down the street. I had a great experience and will definitely be staying here again. 🙂
The worst and most disgusting hotel Ive ever stayed in. The lobby restrooms were disgusting, water and trash all over the floor, toilets were backed up. We spoke with the front desk staff about it. Never resolved because i checked the next day and they were the exact same. No towels in pool area and when I asked for some, I was handed two small hand towels.
We visited here and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is obviously going through an upgrade over time. Parts of the room were new and very nice while others were older. The sheets, pillows and mattresses were spotless and comfortable. The coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator were also new. The shower had been remodeled. The bathroom was small but functional. What still remained to be upgraded was the carpet and lounge chair as well as the toilet paper dispenser. Regardless, although the hotel was full, it was very quiet. No street noise or other guest sounds. The breakfast was all packaged, processed foods save for the fruit. Even the cheese omelets were frozen, contained preservatives and required microwaving. The best part of the hotel is its location. A five minute walk brought one to the American Falls and Maid of the Mist. Quite a few other attractions were also in walking distance. Stay here for a place to crash and foray out to enjoy Niagara.
Our stay was good. Room was clean. Jay helped us in booking the room over the phone. They did provide us a room with nice view, gave us early check-in and late checkout since we had a 3.5 months old baby with us. I also got AAA DISCOUNT. Its just minutes away from American falls and goat island. Everything is at walking distance.
There are better hotels next door. The whole hotel was gross. The elevator smelled so strongly of burning rubber and that was very concerning. I used the stairs because the elevator smell was so bad and there were spiders everywhere. The shower didn’t have a plastic sheet and water poured everywhere on the floor. The pipe the shower head is attached to would randomly move in and out. With zero effort I accidentally pulled the knob off the shower wall. The mini fridge is barely cool. Just go somewhere else
Good location. Inside was dated small bathroom. The light switch in the bathroom only work two out of 10 times you flip the switch for the light to come on. Stain on the carpet and the floor and bedding. Our room safe was locked by someone staying in the room before us. We called it when we first got to the room and they said maintenance would come and unlock it. They never came to the room for three days to unlock the safe for us to use. The room only had two full-size bathroom towels had to walk to the front desk to get more towels.
This is a really terrible hotel. Please stay away if you can. I hope, I could give them -1 rating.Quality of Front deskNEVER SAY SORRY TO CUSTOMER.1. Does not have parking slots. Just 20 parking slots for more than 200 rooms. They sent us to shared parking spotwhere there is no security of cars. No one cares for parking ticket while parking the car.2. In our room hot water heater was not working. Immediately escalated to front office. They wasted 2 hours in themorning to send the maintenance guy. After visiting front desk, multiple times, they sent the person.3. Finally room was changed. In this COVID pandemic, they gave us a USED ROOM, which was dirty. Beds had hair strains everywhere. Food items, straws were lying on the carpet. But front desk was not interested to listen to our problem. We requested to get the room cleaned. Even though promised, no one cleaned it.4. In the evening, we complained again. Front desk with No Sorry Policy, sent someone who said Im not a cleaner. Our experience with this hotel was horrible. Please do not waste your money for this hotel.
Its cheap and affordable and the service is good enough at the price point. The people reception could have been a bit quicker in dealing with customers. The food options are good and the free breakfast is quite delicious. Its very close to the Niagara Falls State Park. Has a pool for a quick cool off and designated smoking areas. Overall a great place.
Communication amongst staff not very good. Upon check-in the clerk we were working with and the supervisor was more interested in creating a new account of some sort than to give us their attention, this was not very professional. We requested a late check out and they did not notate it. Received a rude phone call the next morning from the front desk because we missed the check out time of 1100. Parking at the hotel is not sufficient for the number of rooms. Quality of the room was not worth the price. We have said in much nicer hotels throughout tje country, including Las Vegas and NYC, for less. The only good thing I can say is that the proximity to the Niagara Falls State Park was wonderful, you can walk there.
My daughter and I enjoyed our time here on our first mini vacation since covid. All the ladies at the front desk were very helpful, professional, and upbeat attitudes. The room was very clean and the air conditioner was a great blast of cooling relief when walking into our room on a mid to upper 80s day. My daughter enjoyed the pool while I enjoyed the hot tub. I was content with the items offered for breakfast, especially since we are coming out of a lot of restrictions due to covid and that I am not a breakfast person. The hotel is perfectly located for walking to the falls and to the casino. They also have free parking which is a plus for us, especially in NY. The first day we were there we had to use our room key to access the elevator which made me feel more secure while in our room. But the remaining of our stay that wasnt the case.
When i arrived with my mother it was very late like 1:55 am, we headed to our room and noticed it was dirty. we went back down and the front desk switched our room, but to our surprise the carpet was dirty. so we ended up vacuuming our own room and soon found out our in room safe didnt works. we hardly had any hot water to shower and at one point the hot water turned cold one morning when i was showering. also the shower door went off its track and fell on my mother most of the staff was rude accept one nice late night lady. the ceiling leaked and we asked them to fix it which they did but left a bugs mess including bugs and what not which one they had to send someone to come and clean it. the breakfast lady was rude and honestly the breakfast sandwich they give u was left out for who knows how long instead of being in the freezer per health code which i ended up getting sick on them. And last but not least the hotel staff steals, i had some jewelry stolen, front desk claims no maids found anything in the room when they cleaned and thats bs. I know where I left my jewelry in the safe. I will never ever stay at this hotel again!
Positive: Location Negative: The shower handle is backwards reversing the hot & cold water. Theres dust on the lamps. Bathroom vent is full of dirt: hole in the bathroom door: no light switch in there. Have to request toilet paper, trash bags, coffee, facial tissue blankets etc.
Bad experience. The hallway smelled. It was dirty throughout the hotel. Old and outdated. The shower door was on the opposite end of knobs and all the knobs were the opposite of the water temperature it said it was. They do not have hand towels. Clean towels were not easily assessable from housekeeping. Felt more of a motel than a hotel experience. Absolutely not worth the price!
Positive: The location was the best, breakfast was good, and parking was convenient and free. Negative: We paid an inflated price for a Friday night-the hotel was only 4 floors and dated. Could you more polish, especially in the hallways and bathrooms. The free breakfast in the am was well stocked and included microwavable Jimmy Dean meals.
The Hotel is older. The Bedrooms were nice. Clean. New bathrooms. TV, small refrigerator. Walking distance for shops, restaurants, and The Falls. Conditions of Hotel needs attention to Swimming pool, Bar, and especially to Papa Johns Pizza Area. First time to the Falls. Going to Canada side next trip.
Our stay was wonderful at Quality Inn close to the falls. Quick easy walk to Niagara Falls State Park. We loved our spacious one bedroom with huge jacuzzi hot tub in room. Also the Papa Johns,Legends Bar and pool was nice to have. Have to give a five star to check in with Annabelle she was wonderful!
Since I have been traveling throughout the United States for years and spent a lot of money on hotel stays I would have to say this is one of nicest hotels I have stayed at . Cleanliness at this hotel was at 100 percent , room very big and spacious , free breakfast which was great and of course the location right near Niagara Falls state park was awesome a block away . Felt very safe in this area and the desk clerks were the friendliest so very kind and helpful . I really didnt want to leave . Great overall stay highly recommending this location to anyone traveling to Niagara Falls area .
Good enough to stay in. Great location but could use a little bit of cleaning/renovation. The entire hallway, elevators smell like cigarette and our bedroom felt quite a bit dirty. Coffeemaker even had leftover grounded coffee beans. Breakfast, very limited. Overall, disappointed compared to hotels Ive stayed in the past but great location, and friendly staff.
Suite was very dimly lit. Door seemed like it had been broken and badly repaired. Barely any furniture in the living room of the suite so there wasnt much use in having a separate area. We were forced to park off site for two out of three nights of our stay. Pretty expensive for what we got. Kids enjoyed sitting in the extra large window box area of the bedroom. The balcony is very small, only large enough for one or two people to stand.
Positive: Nothing. This turned out to be the worst hotel stay. It was a family trip and I regret staying at this hotel. The only good thing was the location and that¿s it. Negative: It was the worst hotel experience EVER. Filthy rooms, no effort was made to even try to clean the rooms. We were worried that we may get some infection or disease from there. In the name of towels, we were given 4 hand towels, that¿s it. Mold in bathro
As a repeat customer I am absolutely disgusted with our stay at Quality Hotel & Suites in Niagara Falls, NY, last night 8/23/21.To start as we tried to enter through the handicapped door, it would not work. No sign to warn anyone. (My toddler son is handicapped.)The suite we booked was listed for 246 dollars a night. Upon arrival we walked into a room that was clearly dilapidated. The bed was caved in, the curtains were so torn they were falling off the windows, the fan in the bathroom was missing a cover and leaking water, the tiles around the jacuzzi are literally falling apart, the jacuzzi itself was missing knobs and to top it off the toiletries in the bathroom were used!I went to the desk and explained the situation to the front desk girl who was obviously concerned and embarrassed. She moved us to a new room and SHE is the only reason we stayed the night. This new room was not much better but considering I was traveling with my husband and disabled son, I did not want to keep moving rooms, its a huge inconvenience when moving medical equipment. In this room, the wallpaper is peeling off the walls, the carpet is coming apart and the disgusting couch had obvious stains all over it. My husband said it looks like a man stood here and urinated on the couch. The next morning we went to the most unsanitary continental breakfast I have ever seen. Strangers all sharing a gallon of milk in the middle of a pandemic???? The area was trashed from the party the night before. Trash on the floor, beer pong balls everywhere and tables not even wiped off. After this I had enough and asked the front desk to speak to a manager. This girl, much unlike the nice one from the previous day told me there is nothing they can do because the government is giving out too much money and no one wants to work.OK, I didnt ask for a political answer. I told her I was going to email choice hotels and tell them about this experience and her response was, you can email them but they wont do anything about it.That is your manager at the front desk. Thats how she deals with complaints. By making excuses and just offering a 50 percent discount. I asked her if anyone looked at the first room we complained about and she told me, I dont know, probably not. I was flabbergasted by her unprofessionalism and by the fact that she was not concerned in the least bit.It is completely immoral and unethical to post such beautiful pictures online, charge this amount of money and it be so unkept and dirty.Choice Hotels should be embarrassed of the management team at this hotel and to have this hotel using their name at all.
The hotel was very clean, rooms very clean. Staff very kind. Great bar staff! Close to all trails and fall. However if you have kids and plan for the pool avoid it was very dirty and completely cloudy. The water was salty very weird. Other then that A very nice stay :) would return!
Dirty, smells, loud guests all hours of night and in morning. Breakfast was the worst Ive ever experienced.Guests in the room beside us were having a normal conversation. It sounded as if they were INSIDE our room. The walls are definitely NOT sound proof and the fire wall has to be paper.Guests were loud from 11pm-3am in rooms and hallways all night. Very little sleep.Breakfast foods provided were in a dark area in a hallway from the elevators towards the bar area and Papa Johns. There were muffins, bananas, oranges, orange juice. Cereal was gone and guests arriving around 8am just had fruit or muffins. No hot food anywhere in sight. NO breakfast bar. A 3ft mini fridge was on the counter with 2 open gallons of milk for all guests to pour and use. Seating was where ever there was an open table from Papa Johns or the bar area and were not clean from whoever sat there before. A bucket was on the floor beside the juice area with it written liquids only and people were dumping unused cereal milk and juice in a random bucket on the floor. I was very embarrassed at this breakfast option. We walked out, packed our suitcase and left.Room itself was okay. Was lacking a really good cleaning all around. Window to outside was dirty. Hallways smelled of cigarette smoke and other smoke was very strong in the hallways. Will NEVER go to this hotel ever again.
Its in the thick of things, not far from the Falls. Very crowded on Saturday, we had a wedding party meet in the lobby and walk the 1/4 mile to the falls (Maybe they could offer a shuttle for an extra charge?)The parking is atrocious...good luck there!! I personally would choose a different venue, but for those of you who like being close to the action, this is your spot.
After having to park down the road, which was the best part of this hotel experience, we were checked in to our first room. Door wouldnt lock, bathroom was dirty, floor had trash on it and food in corners, we were going to stay in it except we opened the refrigerator to find someone elses food. The lady at counter. With braids, changed our room, with visible irritation. The second room, door was open, air conditioner on, dirty laundry in closet, stains on comforter, and one bed was shifted off its platform. Again lady with pony tails changed our room, irritated again. 3rd room she came to check as we walked in...a mound of hair in the shower drain, dirty rag on toilet floor, entry was dirty. At this point, I told her we were leaving, her response was to take our breakfast vouchers. Lol...I understand being understaffed, but maybe only sell our the rooms you can clean. Avoid!!!
This is overall probably the worst hotel I have stayed at over the past 6 years. Only a few parking spaces for guests. Hotel was dirty and old. Late night staff was very rude to my wife. And they advertise a heated pool but it definitely was not.The only upsides to this hotel is that its only a block from Niagara Park and the hot tub in the pool area was nice.Just find a better hotel 10 minutes from the park and pay to use the parking lot for the day.
Probably the worst hotel Ive been to that wasnt literally breaking health code violations. Look at my reviews, youll see theres not a lot of one stars.Lets start with the good: the staff was friendly and pleasant, and the wifi worked without issue. I was able to stream a movie in HD no problem. Good location, but there are many other hotels in this area. Now the rest: The hotel is fairly dirty. Both steps of stairs look like they havent been cleaned in years. I stayed on the third floor which was recently renovated, but looks like they cheaped out on the reno. Several broken things, including the bed I was sleeping on. The shower didnt work. Water on the windowsill after the rain. I cant even imagine what it would be like on the fourth, unrenovated floor. In the morning, I was hoping for a good breakfast, but it was just frozen sandwhiches and sad muffins.Do yourself a favor and go across the street, its not much more expensive.
The motel is in need of serious upgrades and/or repairs. The bar manager walked out the night we arrived. Not well stocked. The morning we were leaving, house keeping walked into our room at about 8am with out knocking and no apology. I did notify the front desk of this. Location is good and within walking distance of the falls park and some other restaurants and the casino!
The room smelled like a gas station bathroom. not clean at all. VISIBLE dirt and dust and stuff stuck in the carpet. the bathroom was disgusting. it smelled so bad i didnt even feel comfortable taking a shower. speaking of shower… there are signs scattered about stating that the towels and bedding are replaced every 3 DAYS unless you specifically ask for a clean towel. i feel sick
Given the proximity to Niagara Falls and the price of the property, I incorrectly assumed we could not go wrong with this hotel. Though I realize Quality is not an upscale brand, at the very least, I expected cleanliness. The lobby was dingy and dirty, the elevator smelled like burned grease, and the room key card barely worked. Upon entering our room, we immediately noticed the bathroom caulk was quite mildewed. The only positive I could give this hotel is it’s proximity to the falls.
AVOID THIS PLACE! Honestly my worst hotel experience of my life. we reserved a room here for two nights for my 43rd birthday. upon arriving at 11 p.m. I was given key cards that did not work to my room on the fourth floor I had to return three times before gaining access to our room it was after midnight by the time we were able to get inside. The following morning we went downstairs for the breakfast that was advertised in their restaurant, well it turns out its cereal and yogurt is all they have available. They have turned off the coffee machine and juice machine 20 minutes before breakfast was over so my birthday was a bowl of Cheerios out of a plastic cup. Breakfast was the only thing that was important to me when we chose our hotel . I thought it was a little unusual that their website post pictures of scrambled eggs and bacon so I made a complaint to the manager who told me... the pictures are two years old before the pandemic when they had a restaurant of their own that served an actual hot breakfast. She stated they would be willing to give me half off and cancel my second night if I could leave by 11. I stayed assuming that half price was a very fair negotiation . Upon checkout there is no recollection of the conversation. I am home now I just got off the phone with the manager of the hotel who told me she doesnt remember the conversation and thinks I am lying. I asked her to please review the audio recording and thats when she hung up on me. This hotel should have been condemned the elevators are dangerous and do not reach the height of the floor I saw numerous older people fall. The swimming pool has a 2in layer of foam on the surface when you jump in and splash. This is absolutely the worst hotel I have ever seen and they are charging $200 a night. In the end they want to charge me full price for a horrific experience. AVOID
Positive: The front desk staff were amazing and so good at their jobs. Negative: The pool room was disgusting and dirty, couldn¿t see the bottom of the pool it was so murky, the hot tub shot out cold water and was barely a warm tub. The breakfast is confusing: prepackaged muffins and cereal, but in the kitchen there is more.
Positive: Its location was very good - only a block from the entrance to the Niagara Falls State Park. We could walk to the park and enjoy the Falls and the beautiful park. Negative: The beds were advertised as queen but they were full beds at best. The room had a bad musty smell and the air conditioning was too loud and disrupted our sleep. One of the front desk staff was very rude. Not enough on site parking.
Great location. That’s all. I stayed in room 216. Under my window was a trailer of garbage that you could smell. The elevator has a smell of gasoline or engine oil. The room key started having issues on the 2nd day. The lock in this room needs to be fixed. I would not recommend this hotel, or stay here again. It’s definitely not worth the price.
Positive: The Parking pool and hot tub, free breakfast. The location was good. Walking distance to a lot of destinations. Negative: Parking was very limited. Some front desk clerks were not very friendly. My sons hotel card had to be exchanged at least seven times for failure to work. Our room was never cleaned.
Positive: The bed was comfortable and it was a good location. Negative: The hotel was not very clean, we were given half a roll of toilet paper for our two day stay, there was always food and garbage in and around the elevator floor, the hotel needs lots of maintenance and upkeep done. There was an odd smell in the halls also
Stayed 3 days/2 nights.Room was a complete wreck: there was an eaten chicken wing under the heater, and confetti everywhere. Almost the entire time we were here, there was NO warm water: 1st night the 6 water heaters were apparently shut off, whats the excuse for the rest of the time? The heater was was blowing out cold air for the 1st day/night.Absolutely horrible parking! For and estimate of about 300+/- room, why is there only about 40+/- parking spots (which some are taken by employees).Employees are a story by themselves. Maintenance was amazing, day crew was great, then night crew was extremely uneducated, and didnt know the difference between right and left. Housekeeping didnt come once during our entire stay; so trash built up, and towels was short; room had 4 people, and we only has 2 towels, and didnt get more when we requested, so we stole some from the pool area.Every day, hallways smelled of Marijuana, even with Canada boarders currently being closed due to covid. The 1 star is well deserved; great location and pool was fun. However, I will never stay here again.
I paid more that $700 for two night at this hotel. This choice hotel is fraudulent. They advertise a full service restaurant serving breakfast lunch and dinner. Upon arriving all there is is a bar and a Pappa John’s.The front desk staff is very nice, however the facility itself is in disrepair. Our bedspread had stains on it.. paint peeling in the bedroom. When i tried to call the front desk to ask for toilet paper and soap.. the button to reach the desk had been disabled.I am very very discouraged that this hotel is advertised on the choice hotel website. Who is running this place? There does not appear to be a manager available anywhere..I have never had a negative experience like this at a choice hotel property. Stay away from this place.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is dated and the hotel restaurant is a pizza chain. The room was comfortable but the bathroom area seemed extremely small and not all the lights in the toilet/shower area were working; I’m sure that contributed to the feel. Aside from that, I slept well. The hotel is walking distance to the falls which was very convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and food trucks in the area.
The person in the front desk was horrible. I quickly left my bags in the room, stepped out for a couple of hours. Zero parking and there solution is to park at a garage about two blocks away that only sedans can fit because of a height restriction. On the 3 to 5th level without working elevators after hours. If you have a truck or SUV dont think about staying here, or get ready to park 4-5 blocks away. Their solution park at neiboring hotel even further away where it Should be okay. One hour later after driving around I was done. Save yourself the hassel stay at the Comfort INN the point right across the street. Ample parking, and a friendly staff, way better cleaner rooms...
Garbage place to stay. Creepy lobby w/ a run down casino & bar. Very outdated. Elevator felt like it was run by two hamsters. Room smelled musty and of cigarettes. Everything looked worn, reminded us of a las vegas motel where the movie character gets shot up. Didnt feel safe staying here at all. 100% creepy. Parking garage sucked too.
There are many. 1) About the management and the staff, they were never pleasing to respond for any questions. As there is no parking space in a busy street like that we were prepared to park in public parking space and though the hotel management arranged a good system to park in Municipal parking, the staffs were not explaining about it to customers properly. 2) Room keys - The room keys are made of magnetic strip and was not supposed to be placed near the phone or other credit cards. We were not aware of this before based on other hotels experience. We got locked out of room three times in 2 days and every time it happened I called up the reception for help but they just asked me to come down and get new key cards. Third time I was frustrated when I got locked out with my 3 year old kid and had to take her up and down, I asked whats the reason then the staff told us about not to keep in wallet as it de magnetizes. They did not tell these information at checkin. Very poor staff management and would not recommend to friends.
Location was one of the only good things here. Rooms were okay cleanliness wise. Shower door was poorly designed, way to easy to smash your fingers, happened several times. Door keys had a tendency to not work. Extremely under-staffed. Called down to front desk a couple times, and it rang so long I ended up just walking down to the desk and waiting in line.
The hotel lacks maintenance. The toilet was not flushing. The phone to the front desk did not work. I informed the front desk about this at 8 am, then again at 2 pm. The issue was not resolved despite the front desk assuring me it was. I informed them again the next day. The toilet was still malfunctioning when we checked out.
Eventhough the hotels is in a prime location to get to the falls being only 2 blocks away. Its renovations lack in craftsmanship with unfinished fixtures, pealing paint on walls, cracked floors at entrance and lack of pool cleanliness say alot about the up keep of the hotel. With all the negative comes some positive points being housekeeping that maintain the rooms do an amazing job in cleaning the rooms and treating customers with respect and providing a wonderful service. They should be commend for doing a great job. As for housekeeping that maintain the lobby and downstairs areas they should called in for a serious talking too. The entrance areas are not acceptable, the elevators are not acceptable, pool area warrents some major cleaning and remodeling. The front desk staff are over worked trying to take care of check ins and customers for the other reasons. They also did an amazing job trying to deal with customer complaints during a power outage. As for the Papa Johns Pizza at the hotel the health department should really look into giving them a serious inspection for cleanliness. I dont mind paying high price for knowing that my food is being prepared in a clean restaurant. This hotel with the proper management in place to run a prime location would really benefit. As for the morning breakfast staff they should be assigned to wiping tables and countertops not ideally watching customers walk back and forth and not at least attempt to wipe tables down so that customers can sit down and eat. Overall I had a good experience and would visit again if I knew I would be able to enjoy the use of the pool and eat my food in a clean restaurant and eating area. The owner of the establishment needs to be aware of the issues at hand correct them immediately, unless he/she is just about taking peoples money and providing them with an overall clean environment especially with COVID19. First impressions speak volumes when running a business. That being said I think my book is long enough.
This hotel reaches the low bar set by typical American chain hotels. There are a ton of hidden fees when booking, but this is a tourist area so expect everything to be overpriced. There is a bar and papa John’s in the building. the location cannot be beat. It’s a 15 min walk to the falls. Also, free parking works great because there’s no need to drive anywhere. The service is ok. The older ladies at the desk are comically apathetic. The building leans on the cleaner side of average. We were given a handicap suite which was frustrating because the robotic door did what it wanted. The shower was beat up and covered in what I presume to be poop.
Positive: Staff and location were great, room was dirty floor had lumps of stuff, missed by a vacuum , bedding had stains . One ply toilet paper. Very disappointing. Negative: Room was dirty floor had lumps of stuff, missed by a vacuum , bedding had stains . One ply toilet paper. Coving had been put o. With nails and never filled, just looked very tacky Very disappointing.
Horrible . Customer service was ok but no where to park . Room was dirty pullout bed was full of old Doritos and mattress was yellow and smelly . There was no soap or shampoo or conditioner in the room. And the hot tub in my suite was dirty and had a white film all in it
Hotel room could use a good deep cleaning. Carpet and other Upholstery were stained. No room service due to covid so we couldnt get the room straightened up. Breakfast was not the greatest but it was better than nothing. The gift shop was nothing special.I guess after labor day everyone around niagara closes at 3pm. It was difficult to visit any of the stores or restaurant because everything closed so quickly.
Positive: The location. It was super close to Niagara Falls; within a short walking distance. Negative: The staff wasn¿t knowledgeable about where their own parking. When asked ¿where is the parking¿ the employee behind the counter said ¿I don¿t know¿. Also if you ask for extra towels you have to check them in, and then check them out once
Bugs in the room all over the jacuzzi and under the wall paper. All other rooms were booked so it was either sleep in our car with our newborn or stay up all night and let him sleep in the bed as we watched him to make sure no bugs would crawl on him . 10/10 would not recommend this hotel until they fix the room up.
The room appears to be good. Everything isdone slow due to people not working because they rather sit home and get unemployment. The staff on duty was very courteous. The room needed some minor repair but again no one willing to work since the government is just giving handouts.
While the staff was friendly, there were some noticeable issues. Our party had multiple rooms, and each one had issues with the sinks not draining properly. Our shower had issues maintaining water temperature: it would vary from hot to even on the same setting. When it was stocked, the continental breakfast was great, but there are cleanliness issues in the shared restaurant space, which badly needs more frequent vacuuming.
Positive: The staff. They did everything in their power to correct our concerns. Very friendly and professional. Negative: Not very clean. We had 2 rooms neither room had a phone that worked so we had to go down to front desk for help with several issues Also made room service impossible
🚨🛑STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE🛑🚨 I find blood stain on the bedsheets, I call to the front desk to ask for some extra sheets, they told me I have to go down stair to get them because they dont have room service for the night, so I went. And when I get there, they told me they going to send room service to my room because they dont even know where to get them. I told them I already call and she reply Im positive, I will send room service. I went to my room and I call again after 1 hour, they call me back 30 min after midnight and told me, come and get them because there is not room service for the night. Nasty place the couch it looks like you take it out of the garage, very poor costume service. Save you money and a bad experience
Very clean and spacious! Elevator stunk like it was ready to burst into flames at any moment! The receptionist is awesome, she would eat all the crow that they threw at her! She would then smile and push on! That is hospitality and it doesnt exist much at these times! Thanks for being human!
I can deal with dated rooms and dim lighting. What I cant deal with is finding a dirty seat with crumbs and a used stir stick. The sheets smelled like people aka dirty. Its an overpriced bare minimum place to lay your head. As long as the falls run there will always be a need for hotels. I just wish they were better kept.
Horrible. Dirty and very smelly, with people smoking outside every single door. Our toilet wouldnt flush, tried to call front desk but phone didnt work in room. They didnt fix it just told us where janitor closet was. Hot tub had some things floating in it. Breakfast is apples, bananas, coffee, and frozen boxes of Jimmy Dean pre-made pancakes or sausage bowls that you just wait in line to heat up. The milk is in a gallon that everyone just shares. Asked where water was for kids, was told they could have coffee. It was attached to papa Johns, and is walkable to everything including breakfast places, and lunches/ dinners. Lots of food trucks near by as well.
The hotel was ok, but the housekeeping was awful we did not see housekeeping tell the last day of the three days that we were there. We had to chase housekeeping down just to get toilet paper an clean towels.the hotel did put out muffins and breakfast burritos with fresh coffee that was good. The ice machine only works on one floor and the vending machine take your money dont use them. The area where the hotel is located was great it was close to everything
This hotel was filthy and outdated. No surface was clean, the whole first floor reeked of cigarettes, The bathroom was untouchable. The stairwells are filthy, the elevator is filthy and smells like urine. The halls are desperate for new carpet and a fresh coat of paint. I wasnt expecting a 5-star hotel but man- I wasnt expecting the flea bag that we got either.
This is not a three star hotel. Maybe 2 but thats it. To be fair, the whole towns attitude is condensed into this small hotel. Dirty, apathetic, broken, and overall unappealing. Dirty floors, angry associates who bicker amongst themselves and direct that energy at clients, disorganized and lost. The layout of the building is not efficient. The elevator doesnt work and there is no accessible stairs FIRE HAZARD. its probably not the hotels fault but the whol town is like this hotel. Only go for the falls and keep your money in your pocket. Once you saw the water works run back home.Edit: forgot to mention. Not worth the deposit they ask. Maybe 50% of what they ask to put down. Youve been warn.
The location in relation to the Niagara Falls state park is excellent. The room was clean and exactly what we needed for the weekend. The lobby was not very clean and cluttered. There is not enough parking for a busy weekend. There was not enough loading space either when checking in. We ended up having to park 2 blocks away in a parking garage, they did validate the parking though. Overall, it was a decent place to stay.
Dont waste your money here. Had what i could only guess are roaches flying around the room toilet did not flush. I paid 325 for a single queen since that was the last room they had. The staff worker named maya was great! The room was cleanish, could of gotten better sleep in my car due to the funny smelling rooms, rock beds and overall terrible experience.Parking is also block and a half away.
Worst place ever to stay… my room was 408 the the sink wasn’t clogged and then I went to get breakfast with my family, the Afro-American girl was very rude, she only asked my family for the breakfast ticket since we are the only Hispanics at the hotel and when I picked up yogurts to my family she came to me very rude and told me I can’t take all the yogurts...so I responded to her we are 6 and I taking one for each of us... The manager never came to me and find out what happens!! Never stay in this place!
Room fine workers unhelpful paid for roll away at booking upon arrival was told it was not available and was told they could give me a blanket to put on floor for our child to sleep on this after driving 12 hours then standing in line at hotel lobby for another hour because not enough staff. Staff offered no solution for the failure . So it cost me more money to get yet another room
Great staff working there, the only problem we had was that on the second night out of 5 nights staying there my fiance got woke up at 6:30 in the morning because she was bit by a bed bug (which she caught to show staff). After going to the front desk and showing them they gave us our money back for that night and upgraded our stay to a king suite on the other side of the hotel and closed the room for extermination. We didnt have anymore problems after that and the staff were all great. Im aware that it could have been brought in by previous customers and the staff took immediate action to correct the problem. We would go back.
The staff is very friendly and nice, the hotel is not the cleanest around, maintenance is very poor, my room had a broken toilet paper support, which is not a problem, but not good when you want to sell that you care. Breakfast is nasty, nothing good besides the yogurt. The Papa Johns inside is terrible, I ordered a medium pizza and some wings, the pizza was burnt and the wings were pure oil. I would not recommend eat there. Now, as far as the location it is on a privileged area, a walking distance to the falls.
We checked in late after driving from Chicago. The front desk staff were less than friendly, one even went so far as to complain about another guest in front of a line of people waiting to check in. Then after that we got to our room to find tons of bedbugs literally climbing out of the sheets and pillows. The bathroom sink and bathtub were full of black hair, the carpet was stained and disgusting and the door handle to the main door barely worked half of the time.
First off, were local but stay here through-out the year for various festivals/happenings when we dont necessarily want to risk the drive home!! This hotel has a great location close to all attractions. The staff was friendly professional and very helpful. Our awesome bartender, remembered our drinks of choice from our last visit!! (That started our day off perfectly) Our room was super clean and did notice that there are/will be, renovations going on!! Parking not the greatest, but during many festivals/events, the Municipal lots are free. We have a system now, which works pretty well and we manage to get a spot in the main lot most times. They have a great bar & bartender!! Also a free breakfast which we had previously skipped, but did use it this trip and we were pleasantly surprised!! This is an older location in the middle of room renovations. And still an awesome stay, with great people!!! Also, if needed (havent yet) I can take the dog along!!!
I stay at a larger number of low priced and low quality budget motels and hotels, and I’ve seen some rough spots. This, however, was absolutely the worst. Visible bed bugs, literal trash in the bed and around the hotel. Dirty walls. The list goes on. I’m still covered in bites and now having to treat all of my things to prevent taking home bed bugs with me. Don’t stay here.
The worst experience ever! They don’t know how to treat people. I wish I had seen the reviews before booking this hotel. I checked in to the hotel to see a broken flush, phone service was not working. When I asked for a room replacement, I was being told there are no rooms available. Somebody came and “fixed” the flush but when I woke up in the morning, the flush was broken again. When I spoke to the lady there named Caroly, she shouted at me without giving me proper solutions to the problem. Have travelled so much but have never met such people in my life. The WORST experience ever and the worst part is they don’t even care about the reviews.
It was the most horrible hotel I ever stayed at no parking at all we had to stay in the hotel wating for 1 hr and 30 minutes just to get a response of you could park in the parking lot which you have to pay $30 for 24 hours. The doors to the room were very hard to open we tryed and tryed but on the 4th try we got it open. Also we had to walk a whole block with our luggage because we had to park in the lot. When your in the room the in morning around 4am you can hear people laughing and talking. The beds were like hard rocks and not comfy. The Frontdesk worker was very nasty to us she was saying I don’t know how to help you because I’m working 12 hours and I have no one to help and I don’t know how to help you with the parking and she was laughing like it was a joke. Worst hotel ever don’t ever stay here even though it’s cheep, included breakfast, still don’t pay a bigger price to get treated better and have a good stay.
No hot water, didnt see house keeping once in the 3 days so we ran out of towels the first night and never got more despite asking at the front desk. Likewise ended up with tons of garbage due to unatentive housekeeping. The smell of marijuana floated freely through the halls at all hours. Pool never had an ample supply of towels, forcing girls to go out and request more towels from the front desk 3rd shift who catcalled girls leaving the pool without a towel. Although the room smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals, there was an eaten chicken wing under the heater. There was not enough parking for the size of the hotel. Great location, decent rooms, a mixed bag of employees, and just not enough water heaters.
If i could give 0 stars i would, very experienced staff with a scamming tactics that they use with their customers. They have charged me for a whole night because they didnt get the right dates for my stay. Best advice stay away from this hotel with a manager that likes to scam people.
Extremely rude staff.Dirty. Dirty. DirtyThey do not clean their rooms, elevators, nothing. They make it look nice when you arrive until you get to your room.Weve stayed here 4 times, and every time it has been dirty.Just cause you might clean with some bleach, dont make a difference. You got to clean walls and lamp shades and lighting areas, the phone, all of that!!!You guys lost our business because of how rude you are!We have never had a hold for our room and we arrive the other day and they want us to hold more money! No way, go down to the comfort right in front of them and stay there. Gonna pay some extra bucks but so much nicer, cleaner, friendly staff, and did I mention cleaner? They dont have a pool like the quality but the pool at the quality is always dirty. Nasty, foggy water that smells bad. That about somes it up I think!!
We stayed here when we visited Niagara Falls.Pros:Close to food trucks and to the niagara falls state parkBudget friendlyPolite staffPapa Johns is in this hotelFree breakfast buffet is availableCons:They don’t have a gymSome rooms are older and the bathroom door in the older rooms gets struck
1. The front desk woman was extremely rude to the man in front of us. She said “As I already mentioned...” several times.2. The jacuzzi suite was completely unsanitary and unclean!!!!3. BOTH of the two dressers were each missing one drawer.4. The large curtains had enormous tears/rips in them.5. From running the shower water to make it warm.. it made the tub more slippery than ice and I fell, severely bruising my knees and my sides..6. I had planned the most luxurious weekend getaway for my husbands birthday and ended up being so embarrassed.7. I have never had such a disgusting hotel experience like the Quality Hotel in Niagara Falls. I wish I could get refunded.
The lack of courtesy from the staff is shockingly disturbing. We only went to the gift shop because fortunately we were staying at another hotel. But that was enough to experience the nightmare. The smell in the hallway was terrible! The service was very rude. They act like a gang out of the street. No education at all. They lack training and understanding of the hospitality business at the gift shop and the the lady from the front desk was even worst. Terrible!!!!
We found bed bugs in our room, I have bits everywhere in my body, and the manager instead of offering me a solution was very rude when I came to the front desk trying to explain the situation and brought the pillow with the evidence. In case these bits causes me any problems I will contact you
The hotel is in perfect location. 3 minutes to walk to the Niagra falls park. The staff was nice and friendly. The building is pretty old thou (you can tell they need renovation) and TV was small (like 35in if that). Otherwise we had no complaints. Really liked their breakfast especially the waffles. Pool and jacuzzi were nice and clean. And price was the cheapest in the city.
Wow! When the main parking lot is full be prepared! The parking garage is very dirty... I mean urine in the elevator dirty!!! We were given a map from the parking garage to the hotel. It was difficult to find even then. There is a Pappa Johns Pizza & Legends Bar/Grill located within the hotel. If we would have known that we wouldnt of had a problem finding the hotel. Walking that far being handicapped is tough. It was even worse in the dark with pouring down rain. While making the reservation I asked about the parking situation. Was told it was out front & it is not a problem to park. Well, it was a problem even with it being the off season. Next time we will have a hotel with accommodations for disabled individuals and/or we will just book somewhere that has valet parking. Positive note: clean rooms & staff were friendly! The main areas in the hotel could be cleaned more frequently especially during this pandemic.
We paid for a suite got a really small room that was like the town around it. ( run-down ) The room had filth behind everything, it looked like someone had drained a radiator into it. There is no way any room had a view of the falls because every building around it is as tall or taller. I walked around the hotel to see. Im pretty sure that the hotel has bed bugs as well.
We were greatly disappointed in many aspects of this hotel. Undelivered bedding left us scrambling to make a bed on the floor for our son out of towels, leftover melted ice left in the bin with a new baggie draped on top, entrance in disrepair, and an extraordinarily unprofessional desk staff.
Bed bugs bed bugs Bed bugs.....I just sat for 3 mins on bed and I had full blown rashes of bugs on my left arm... immediately could gaze its bed bugs ... checked reviews and found some more bad reviews with bed bugs... went down to reception area spoke to the lady and asked a refund she denirec first and tried scaring me instead saying security please talk to this guy... I was shocked is this America? Or something else ? Upon my polite behavior and consistency with my anger finally got the refund bill from them after 30 mins.... no parking space ... non sense behavior of staff and trying to think they could scare me off is worst experience of my life... never book this hotel ever.
Hotel was as expected, clean and comfortable, not enough staff so anytime you needed the feet desk you had a very long wait. Parking is confusing at check in. You dont know where to park. After check in they do give you instructions to the parking garage down the street
The location was great, very close to many of the attractions. Bathroom was small but clean, had a small hole in the shower curtain but was clean. Beds were comfortable, one of the bedspreads had a small stain on it. Service was great, very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good, had breakfast pizza and lots of other items. I would recommend this hotel.
Positive: Location Negative: We had 11 people, some older, so asked for ground floor...ground floor required you to travel 11 steps no elevator option...was difficult the whole time. Breakfast was an embarrassment..another reason I chose this hotel..you can only play covid so far.
Everything is broken, falling apart of covered in garbage. My room was out of toilet paper and tissues. The bar underserved and overcharged in plastic cups (despite glasses under the counter). Its connected to papa Johns and it looks like the floor hasnt been vacuumed in weeks. Half eaten pizza crusts and sauce contrainers everywhere.Spend a few bucks more and go someplace else.
We have stayed at several hotels near the falls and this was one of the best locations. It is near the falls and a short walk to restaurants, even the ones on Third Street such as Donatellos (check them out). The room, hallways and restaurant were very clean. Parking was easy and next to the hotel. Internet was the fastest and easiest to get on I have experienced in a hotel. There is a convenience store on the main floor. Breakfast was easy to access. Several people could access food at the same time, unlike the experiences we had at the Comfort Inn. Along with the usual breakfast items this location also offered pizza. Lots of seating. We have no complaints about our stay. I will mention that we have stayed here before and found that like many hotels the queen rooms at that time did not have queen beds, they were full size which could be an unpleasant surprise for tall people. We have no complaints about our stay in our king room.
Its close to the falls but I had some issues with the room. Our door didnt want to latch, nor did the bathroom door. With the way the new shower is set up, you have to completely get in the shower to turn it on and it sprays you with cold water. And the TV didnt have very good reception.
Hotel was an average price for the location. Also one of the few hotels with pool and hot tub opened. Very close to everything. A few amenities were unavailable due to covid. Breakfast was ok for covid time. The casino credit is not avaliable and no substitution avaliable.rooms were ok no housekeeping.
I stayed at this hotel two nights. For the amount of money I spent, I at least expected the room to be clean free of spider webs and spiders and a clean floor. We found soy sauce packets on the floor and unclean windows. The bathroom was also not the cleanest and the coffee machine in the room did not work. Also, the Arabic and Spanish translations on signs throughout the hotel are written incorrectly, which is culturally offensive. However, the hotel provided the minimum needed for a quick stay-- TV, shower, and a good sleep.
Price and location was good. Bed was comfy with nice pillows. Walls so thin I could hear tvs and talking on both sides. Shower sucks! By the time you turn the nozzle far enough to get hot water it barely trickled out. Staff tried to clean our room an hour before checkout. Overall I was not impressed and wont stay here again.
We ckd in w 4 families thats 4 rooms.we told the young lady at the front desk we needed no stairs 2 of us had had knee surgery.oh ok NO problem. How about 1st floor.great no stairs! Wrong we had a flight to go up and down I went to complain couldnt get close to frt desk so many people trying to CK in .So I waited and called and called for 2 hrs from my room.Noone would answer another couple were trying to get into their room and they were 2 hrs late room still wasnt ready.I called again in the morning girl said hes not here I said u r lying I just seen him in lobby someone else had him cornered.so within 2 min.of hanging up he called said hedck on the situation.& Call back.he did said hed give us 20% back be in and envelope at frt desk .when we come back in .when we came back girls at desk knew nothing.they called him and texted him no response. This place ruined our vacation.up and down a flight of stairs why couldnt they put us on 2nd floor then wed of had an elevator.now 2 of us can barely move because of this incompetent place and a mgr that is not truthful.I wouldnt ever recommend this place due to frt end people who know nothing of the place they work for .and a mgr who lies.then to offer only 20% .but not to produce anything? Not trust worthy in my book or the rest of our party. He may have to pay more than that out after both of usgo back home to Ohio and see our orthopedic Drs.. because this was unexcusable.
I truly enjoyed my stay here. The proximity to the falls was perfect. The atmosphere and vibe was right on. My family and I had so much fun, not just in Niagra Falls but at the hotel itself. Your staff were all so helpful and nice. The rooms were spotless and spacious.
We chose this place primarily for the price and distance from the casino and it was an excellent choice. Its not a fancy hotel but the bed was comfortable, it was quiet and the hotel staff were great. The breakfast was good as well. It is in a perfect location as it is a 5 minute walk to the casino and falls. The only negative would be the shower pressure but oh well. We would stay again in a heart beat.
I would never stay here again. We booked for a few days and it was a horrible experience. The first time at this hotel and the last. The first room they gave us had crumbs all over the bed, underneath the sheets. Meaning THEY DO NOT CLEAN. Ooh and the bed was broken. They moved us up another room once we get there we find out the air conditioner was broken, they managed to replace it with another. The bathrrom vent was also dangling off the ceiling. They do not enter the rooms during our stay to clean the rooms, they say this is due to COVID-19. They do provide extra towels and etc upon request. Luckily, we brought our own disinfectant items for our stay, so we cleaned thoroughly. Now breakfast, while booking they mention a grab a go breakfast, with bagels, muffins, cereal and other breakfast types, that was a LIE . They only had cereal and at times minimal muffins and danish. When you ask what happened to breakfast, they give a poor excuse that thats all they have available. All the guests we came across were angry during breakfast time, no one expected this. Whoever runs this hotel definitely needs to repair this poor management, this was a horrible experience for our family. Never will stay here again!
As I arrived the lobby area definitely needed attention and cleaning. The love seat by the gift shop had missing material on the couch, which appeared to be leather. As i checked in and went to the room, there was a commerical size dumpsters right out side my room with lots of trash, obviously. The heater in the room didnt work, now mind u it was 28° out, the shower was NOT clean, actually the bathroom wasnt cleaned. There had been patch jobs done on the walls. Also the sheets had dull faded brown stains all over them. Not to mention the room was tiny! I check out with in 10 min, now they do not want to gove me a refund!
This hotel wasnt bad. The room I stayed in was in pretty good shape, a few of the employees were helpful in details and somewhat friendly, the price was reasonable, yet the best part of it was the proximity to the falls. Despite the fact the room was 90 percent clean...a couple of spots I found here and there, but handled it as with any hotel I made reservations for...beware of customer parking. It can be a major pain, specifically throughout peak tourist seasons. However, the staff at the front desk will work with you.
The staff was nice and helpful. Everything else was just unbearable. We booked a suite and it clearly hasn’t been maintained since the ‘70s. There was no shower curtain, the electrical outlets were falling out of the wall, and it was decorated like a nursing home. The pool water was cloudy and the included breakfast was wholly inedible. We ended up leaving early, eating the cost, and booking the remainder of our stay at The Hotel Giacomo next door.
This hotel is absolutely horrible. peeling paint, flaking ceilings. The staff try but the facility is in a state of decay. The phones from the rooms to the front desk are actually disabled. They offer a full service restaurant, which they do not have. Food service is disgusting
Id give this stay 4.5 stars. My wife and I stayed for two nights. Because weve stayed at many Choice hotels in the past we were presently surprised when they provided us with a larger room with hot tub at no extra charge. Perfect, when youre celebrating your 25th wedding anniversary! The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. The elevators are secure. There is a restaurant and bar inside; although, we didnt use it. There is a nice little souviner shop with reasonable prices. Our room was clean. My wife appreciated that it came with a hair dryer next to the sink and mirror. Our hallways wall were a little dingy but its not a brand new hotel. It has a play area for kids outside. Everything was in walking distance of the hotel so we hardly had to use our vehicle. The only complaint I have with this hotel is that its parking lot isnt large enough to hold all the vehicles. If you have a physical challenge, you may want to re-consider as the alternate parking is in the city garage across the street but due to the exits being in the middle of the garage, the walk is a good block away from the hotel.Wed definitely stay again.
Stayed here on NYE. Price and location were good. Thats about it.Disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The shower was dirty and I noticed 2 wet and dirty folded towels on the towel rack right beside 2 clean ones. It had a slight yellowish colour to it and had some dirt on top. It looked like used towels that were used to dry of the wet floor. My fiance and I didnt bother using the shower nor even trusted the other clean towels on the rack.Wheres the quality in your Quality Hotel and Suites??? Very disappointed!!!
Overall it wasnt a horrible stay and I would stay there again. The price for the hotel was an amazing deal for the area it was located. The room was average. The beds felt clean (plus) however the bathroom/vanity area wasnt as clean as I would have liked (negative). Prior Choice hotels I have stayed at offer free breakfast, I saw nothing of the sort at this one (Negative). The proximity to the falls was nice. You cant see them but the walk there is pretty short. (Plus). Overall, for the price Id stay there again. Maybe we just had a subpar cleaning person that week?
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff at the hotel did not treat me like a second-class citizen just because I travel with my dog. I felt like a valued guest. All of my interactions with the staff were positive. I love the size of the rooms we stayed in, I love that the desk was not bolted down so we could move it (my husband often works while I am trying to sleep), I love the balcony (we could see the mist from the Falls). I love that the stopper in the bathroom sink works, and the sink holds water. I love the quiet flush of the toilet, and how intuitive the controls on the heating system are. I really like that you need a room key to open the elevator. That made me feel very secure. I love the big comfortable bed, and all the amenities that made our stay so pleasant. I am definitely staying here when we come back.

Review №1
2022-06-11Great location and rates. This hotel is in need of some renovation. No housekeeping for multiple night stays. You have to go to the desk to get toiletries and towels.Manager in the gift shop was the most friendly and helpful of anybody. 5 stars to her. Hell, 10 stars. Dealing with tourists is hard and she is a champion of her craft!Chased a mouse through the lobby.Parking... a mess! You will walk for a block at least with your stuff into a garage with 8 flights of stairs to go 2 floors and elevators that dont work.Pool has so much chlorine is burns your eyes to go into the pool area. The only thing this place has going for it is the location. Under proper management and care, it could be awesome.

2022-06-19If not for the location, I would give this place may be just one star. You could clearly hear people talking and shouting outside your room. The place is very outdated and definitely needs some renovation. There is nothing special about the breakfast menu. Parking is also not on the location. It’s few blocks from the hotel. The place is very crowded, rooms are very small. If you need quiet stay then this is not for you.Positives are it’s very near to Niagara, easy access to food trucks and other restaurants. The rooms have refrigerator and microwave.

2022-06-28Excellent hotel. We loved everything about our stay here. Clean, updated and well maintained. Easy walking distance to the American falls, maid of the mist, etc. Parking seemed limited, and might have been an issue, but we got lucky and found a spot in the hotel lot and just stayed there. Great place to stay when visiting the falls!

2022-04-03Positive: I liked the location best as it is only about a block away from the State Park, also about a block from the casino, with a variety of businesses all around, with many more restaurants/sites within 5 miles, also loved the walk in shower. Negative: It is not a new hotel, the front lobby, the first thing you see, could be updated with some new furniture. The furniture in the rooms also seems like it is from yesteryear, yet still in great condition. Hotel has a great location to be near State Park!

2022-05-20Its mostly clean and very close to the falls. The beds are hard as a rock. The bathrooms are tiny (the door nearly touches the toilet) and things seem to be crumbling apart around the edges. The shower was decent. The bar and grill advertised on the sign does not exist - theres a bar and a papa Johns and a street burger place (burgers were simple but juicy and good).

2022-05-06Just a short walk away from the Falls.Friendly attention at the reception at check in.The rooms all have 2 queen beds. Refridge, microwave and good quality coffeemaker in the room. Nice basic bathroom, was clean but the lamp with the ventilator was very dirty.Free parking.Free coffeeservice at reception for hotel guests. The breakfast is not worth to go to.Indoor pool for guests.

2022-04-21Choice chains should really evaluate their front line employees, the person in charge yesterday evening has no idea how to deal with the public. She blamed me for her not asking the appropriate questions and then stated that since I walked away she was no longer responsible to be engaged in my question. Would have been easier to acknowledge that she could have been more proactive and professional. If you need a hotel in this price range, Comfort Inn is across the street, Im staying there tonight.

2022-02-27Stayed overnight and had breakfast. Employees were kind and polite. Would recommend if trying to enjoy a weekend at The Falls. Parking is slim, might be a parking garage or on street parking, I dont know yet.

2022-05-15Perfect walking distance for Niagara falls and boat ride. If you have smaller children definitely invest in a red wagon. Made the walking much easier. The receptionist were extremely friendly and helpful. They deserve double their pay raise.

2022-04-04Positive: Very close to the state park and the falls. We just walked across the street. We were there I believe in the off season so not much seemed open around the hotel. Negative: Our room had a stain on the floor and the duvet was also not clean. The water in the shower didnt get hot and when we arrived the hallway and the room was freezing. The parking lots in front werent ideal.
