Quality Inn & Suites Binghamton in other cities:
I had a horrible experience, idk maybe its just because I have bad luck but I tried to extend my stay for one more day because I supposedly refused room service after three days, which is so nor true, because I sat in my room and waited and waited, and when they came around, all they did was take my garbage out. Then they went to the clerk, who was very rude by the way, and told them that I refused it, which I did not, all I did was suggest that I dont want it because I am very particular about my things. Anyway, the clerk appears to be a skinny light skinned black lady, she took up a very aggressive tone with me, I was not aggressive back, spoke very calmly and sweetly, I told her I dont know why you are treating innocent paying customers like this, she said she needed me out by noon and that was the end of that.
Positive: Absolutely nothing ¿¿ Negative: Room was terrible, not what the photos online depicted at all! It was freezing and the heater didnt warm up until I checked out! I had to sleep in my clothes and wore a coat! Lastly, they charged more than what was agreed to online!
Found bed bugs upon arrival. My husband took one down to the front desk and now... a week later... we are still waiting to hear from management and have been denied a refund. We have called repeatedly and they now hang up on us. The staff at this hotel refuse to respond to booking.com or their head offices with Choice Hotel. AVOID THIS QUALITY INN!! Do not waste your money!!! The Red Roof Inn is just down the street, with exceptionally clean rooms and great customer service.
The room and entire hotel is very clean. Beds and the cozy recliner in room are so comfortable. The staff are all friendly and helpful. It was run very well. There was a group of adults being extremely loud in the breakfast area late at night when I arrived but the front desk quieted them down right away without even me asking. They were there for a sports tournament and took over the entire hotel. Still, breakfast ran smoothly and they never ran out of anything! Lovely place. The WiFi quality was excellent. I will definitely return in the future.
If I could give it no stars I would. The rug felt like stinky toffee. The bathroom and room were small, outdated and in need of repairs. I called the front desk a couple of times with questions and they never answered. When we asked to check out at 12 instead of 11 they wanted to charge us $25...unbelievable!....will NEVER stay here again. I would rather sleep in my van.
This was hands down one of the worst hotels we have EVER stayed in! The room was in horrible disrepair. It stunk and we kept shoes on to avoid stepping on the carpet. The parking lot was pitch black at night and the entire perimeter of the hotel was overgrown with weeds. We were charged a $25 pet fee (which is typically fine) but they are obviously not using that money to do additional cleaning! We booked the room for 4 of us, 2 adults, our adult daughter, and our young daughter... there were 2 queen beds for four people. Yet we were charged an additional $10 because our older daughter is over 18. Absolutely ridiculous! Do not stay in this dirty hotel!
I had just a horrible stay at his place. As part of my work I’ve lived in hotels for the last year in the Binghamton area I am rented space here for two months. They Double charged me for refundable deposits After it was too late to back out because I had already paid. So I forked over the extra $250 Which of course they never returned. Just awful attitudes nasty dispositions and I was paying $1600 a month Tuesday hotel staff same to go out of their way to look for things to complain about or to charge me for. A family member passed away and I had to rush out of town for two days and I left a note for the housekeeper saying I’ll do the dishes when I get back had a death in the family here’s $60 as a tip. When I returned The tip was gone and she didn’t even clean my room and she left me this note (see photo). Hi strongly discourage people from staying in this hotel or if you don’t take my word for it I’m sure you’ll find out for yourself... Just awful 😢
Lots of parking, staff were all very friendly. Does not offer early check in. Rooms look like they are starting to redo/modernize, hopefully the batbroom is next. Bed was amazing, I heard pillows were too but I always bring my own. No internet, and TV is not HD. Breakfast was ok. Overall, good for the price you pay.
I was very pleased with my stay at Quality Inn in Binghamton NY. It is very apparent that management and staff take great pride in their location. We were warmly greeted by the front desk staff upon arrival which gave off a great first impression. The lobby was clean, well kept, and smelled great. When we arrived at our rooms we were not disappointed!! It was a very cold day but they had the heat on for us so our rooms were nice and cozy. The rooms were in great shape with big flat screen TVs. The beds were so comfortable as were the pillows. The rooms both had microwaves and refrigerators. It was truly like home away from home. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional!! Breakfast included sausage and eggs, waffles, a variety of muffins and cereals and fruit. I was afraid with our large group we would leave hungry and be forced to pay for breakfast else. However, the staff attending to the breakfast room was quick to refill anything that was running low. The service at the desk was superb again in the morning. The housekeeping staff was extremely friendly as well. Its always great to see smiling faces and it was such a bonus to be in the presence of a staff who care so much about the satisfaction of their guests. I look forward to my next stay with Quality Inn, although this location will be tough to beat!!!
Many families travel with their pets. Quality Hotels are pet friendly. Their staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Free breakfast every morning, exercise room, great internet service with many popular TV channels. Every morning staff comes and replaces towels, soaps, empty garbage and asks if you need anything. Staff supplied me coffee for the coffee machine. You can keep your food in refrigerator and warm it up in the microwave. Its like you never left home.
Hotel is dated and needs minor fixes such as new lamp shades and fresh paint. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very pleasant. Coffee available 24/7 in lobby is a bonus as the little pots in the room are never enough to satisfy our caffeine intake.
Rude front desk manager and my room smelled. I made the reservation 2 hours before I arrived only to realize I had selected the wrong Quality Inn because I didnt realize there were two in the same town. They would NOT allow me to change my reaervation to the other Quality Inn. I was visiting my daughter for a very short time and the extra driving took time away from visiting with her. Im still in shock that the staff would not help me. Dont bother calling customer service because all they do is call the hotel who tells them the same thing. Just awful.
This was my 1st time staying at this hotel. Staff members I interacted with were very friendly and polite. A girl at the front desk even printed out directions for me to get to a shopping mall a few miles away. I had a 1st floor room(105) near the breakfast area. The room was nice, beds were very comfortable, nice closet space, mini-fridge and microwave were much appreciated, air conditioning worked well, excellent water pressure in the shower as well. The bathroom is on the small side, but was manageable. Breakfast available every morning with a nice variety of items to choose from. Coffee was available all day and was wonderful! It wasnt busy during my stay, so breakfast items never ran out and were well-stocked (LOVED the wheat bagels!!!). Fitness room available and a game room was next to it, although 2 games did not work and the other 2 were not turned on. A Friendlys restaurant is a very short walk from the hotel and there were plenty of eating places close by. A few suggestions: I would love to see an internet terminal in the lobby, also the lighting outside the hotel could be a little brighter. In the parking lot, the lines were hard to see when parking my car. And for breakfast, maybe switching up the cereals offered. Both days, the same cereal was offered - neither of which is a favorite of mine. All in all, the stay was enjoyable and would stay here again in the future!
Great hotel. Staff was so accommodating. Bent over backward to make sure our stay was perfect. We were a group of 180 youth and chaperones, and 40+ rooms and they were ready for us! Breakfast lady started cooking waffles at 6am to make sure our kids had fresh hot breakfast!😃 very pleased.
This hotel is in a very comvenient location, perfect rest night on the way to Florida. Easy on/off the highway, free breakfast, and affordable price are the main reasons I chose this hotel. But I will come back every time I’m passing through. It’s obvious that the employees really enjoy their work. The entire hotel is run in a very professional manner by its couteous and caring staff. Rooms are impeccably clean and of course breakfast was excellent.
Basic hotel. Allows pets. Fair pricing. Room for trailers. Near by supermarket for shopping. We use it mainly as a stop over in an 8 HR road trip every summer. Hit supermarket on way out and were set for the next leg. . not highly appealing on outside but generally find it clean inside. Comfortable beds and pillows. Friendly staff.
We had an Extremely pleasant stay at this Quality Inn Hotel. The staff was very welcoming, attentive, and courteous. The rooms were nice and clean. Extremely comfortable beds! The shower had excellent pressure. Breakfast was exceptional with so many choices like eggs, bagels (Whole wheat, chicken cinnamon/raisin, onion, plain), toast, danishes, muffins, donuts, variety of yogurts, waffles, choice of cereal, juices hot coffee/tea, etc. The close proximity of this Quality Inn Hotel to the major Highways as well as the numerous restaurants/fastfood places and supermarkets was an added bonus. Such a quaint part of town. We were there with family and would highly recommend a stay at this hotel!
My sister and me were on a long trip that required many stays in a hotel. This hotel was much cheaper than the other hotels we stayed in so we expected it to be just a place to sleep and move on. However, this was the best hotel we stayed in on our entire trip. The room was very comfortable, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful ( even in finding a place to eat and other directions to places we needed to go to). The breakfast was way better than expected. No going to McDonalds for breakfast as we had to with other places we stayed at.
Always a pleasure to stay here. The hotel staff is very pleasant and always willing to accommodate guest requests. My stays have always been great including clean rooms and mostly quiet during the evening. Very relaxing. You can tell management really cares and puts an effort into improving the property.
I entered the property and I automatically felt a feeling of outdated. the carpets in the Halls look like they havent been cleaned in a very very long time. the lady at the reception seemed really nice and there was no problem with my check in. The room that they gave me was right next to the i-86 and I heard cars all night long. But the worst part of all was the breakfast. The lady running the breakfast made eye contact with me and I said, good morning. She just looked at me and walked away. The eggs and sausage looked suspect. It was just an overall bad feel. Upon checkout I asked the lady if she could email me a folio and she told me that she didnt know how. I dont know how the Comfort Inn down the street is but I would honestly if I was in that area spend the extra 20 bucks and stay there.
This is a great value hotel! Free breakfast is very good and comparable to higher end hotels but this is free! The room is nice and clean and comfy. All employees are personable and helpful. Best service by far of any hotel I’ve stayed at. You get a wonderful deal: good free breakfast, clean and comfortable room. Outshines any other budget hotel in the area!
The room was comfortable but other aspects of the hotel were not up to par. There was no water pressure for showing. The free breakfast was disappointing. The cable channels were terrible and what came in were fuzzy. It was quiet when I was there. I did not hear any slammed doors or anything. There was a Friendly’s restaurant within walking distance, and an Aldi’s across the street, but not too much else in walking distance. It was on a relatively busy road.
This Quality Inn as a very convenient location and easy access to the highway. We recommend it if you are need a reasonably-priced hotel in this area.We have a very good stay at this Quality Inn. The young lady that checked us in and was there in the morning when we checked out, was VERY helpful! We were in from out of state and had a family wedding to go to later in the day--so we had no where to go after check out before the wedding. She let us stay in the room a little bit longer, which was very helpful. For an economy hotel, it was a very nice stay and the drink stand and free breakfast items were a huge plus and managed very well by the young lady working that morning!
Attentive and helpful staff. Although many were young they were always available and inquiring about any questions and concerns I may have had . The hotel is convenient to all highways leading in and out if Binghamton. Good price for the room but could use refreshing and redecorating. Make sure you request a room away from the pet friendly wind if you are traveling without pets. Can get noisy.
Stayed here for family weekend at Binghamton University. The other hotels in Vestal were way overpriced. Our room was very clean, comfortable and it’s only a 10 mins from the University. Staff here were all very nice and helpful. Breakfast was constantly well stocked. I would come back here
I stayed at the Quality Inn for work in April. The hotel was quiet and front desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Krishna was able to get me a quiet room, extra blankets, and late checkout. It was a busy weekend but the staff kept the water and coffee full. The rooms could use a little brightening and updating. Quiet despite being close to the highway.
The rooms are decent quality overall. They show some wear and tear and some minor damage but are tolerable for a budget priced hotel. The cleanliness isnt anything amazing, but it isnt trashy or majorly concerning either. Overall for a budget friendly quick stay Its worth a stop.
We checked in. I was told I booked a dog friendly room, didn’t have my dog but that was fine because I was use to staying in dog friendly hotels. I did tell the girl if she needed it for someone else she was welcome to switch me but she told me the hotel was sold out. We brought our bags to the room. The room stunk of urine and cigarette smoke. Meanwhile this girl just had me sign a paper saying I wouldn’t smoke in the room. This was open house at my sons college. He was going to be staying with us in the room. We had to spend the next couple hours trying to find another hotel to stay in. That room was so outdated & gross. We took our bags and left. We were in the room for about 5 minutes in total!
Ill preface my review by saying, this booking was a mistake on my part. I had been looking at hotels in the Binghamton, NY area off and on all week. I finally committed to booking a night stay as our family started off on spring break travel. I picked the wrong hotel! :(Upon arriving at the GPS address, disappointment set in as the vinyl banner covering the former hotel name waved in the air. Realizing this was NOT the hotel I thought I booked, I went inside to check us in. Im not sure what the smell was upon entering... perhaps a combination of cigarettes and mildew? I was soooo hoping my mistake would be able to be remedied by just cancelling... but that wasnt the case. In fact, when I mentioned to the clerk that this isnt what I thought I had booked, she said Yeah. We get that a lot. My card had already been charged so I couldnt cancel. I decided to suck it up because I didnt want to throw away a couple hundred dollars at the beginning of our Spring Break vacation (I reserved 2 rooms)! The pool I had been promising the kids for the night was just a dream now.The rooms... I dont even have the time to explain how gross. Everything was so old and dirty (the floor). The kids attempted to use the fitness room... but about the only thing that worked were the dumb bells. The best part of our night was the 15 minute drive to dinner at Olive Garden. The staff was nice enough I guess... but honestly... Im absolutely turned off if I have to walk into a place by way of a smoke cloud due to staff standing outside the door getting their puffs in! Yuck!
We had an absolutely awesome time. The staff was wonderful. The suite we had, room 124 was HUGE and was a perfect hangout for our entire group. The breakfast every morning was just what we needed to start the day and coffee whenever we needed it. We were there not only on vacation but also for an investigation for our Paranormal team in Binghamton. They were very excited to talk about what we do. We had a great time and are looking forward to coming back. Thank you all so much!!! - The Ghost PIT
While Ive stayed at many inexpensive hotels, this Quality Inn was a little below even my expectations. While the staff was very nice and incredibly helpful, it was quite clear that the hotel was understaffed. While the lobby was wonderfully decorated, showing care put into these tasks, many of the amenities and larger pieces of the experience were lacking. For instance, the TV quality was very fuzzy and the waffle batter was bland. Many smaller things added up to a less-than-satisfying stay.
Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel was quiet and in a nice area. Room was old and in need of updating. Towels and pillow cases looked liked they had been washed a thousand times. Tub was nasty and bathroom was very small. I wont return unless the hotel gets renovated.
I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff, and they were more than accommodating with my requests. The rooms were super clean and clearly renovated and up-to-date. They even had a nice convenient breakfast included with a variety of options. Overall, I had a great stay for an excellent price, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Binghamton area!
I did not want to drive back home as the snow was piling up and did not feel safe driving in it. I had a great sleep as the pillows and bed was very comfortable! The heat was on for me when I went into the room, too! Overall I had a great stay here, I definitely recommend this hotel if you are stopping in Binghamton.
The Hotel Staff were the nicest Ladies and very helpful!! The beds were nice and the sheets very clean and also the bathroom.. Over all the Hotel could use a sprucing up on the outside as well on the inside.. Breakfast was good but I cant stand pre made eggs.. For the price of the hotel I should not complain..
Extremely pleasant stay at this Quality Inn Hotel off of I-81 Exit 6 in Binghamton, NY. We were there with family and would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.
My daughter recently stayed here, with another family member, and left an extremely sentimental item behind. She recently suffered a severe trauma, and this item has helped ease her burden. She left early and in a rush and forgot to make sure she had everything. She was devastated when she realized it was not home with her. The house keeping staff went out of their way to be sure to find the item and get it back to us!! Thank you so much for helping to tremendously ease what would have been yet another thing to grieve.
My reservation clearly indicates a fridge in the room and I inquired during the reservation. But there was no fridge in the room and the front desk staff said they had no refrigerators available. When I indicated the reservation clearly indicates a fridge in the room I was told You’re lucky to get the room as it was the last one available. The ice machine was removed from the 2nd floor and there was one in the breakfast area. The ICE machine was empty. Miraculously a fridge appeared at our room about an hour later. Since we had the last room available I had to get the Jacuzzi Room. But wouldn’t you know it the taps are broken – no hot water, No maintenance available but I was able to get the water running. The condensation on the tiled wall then exposed the messages left behind and stick images. None of which can I enter here or describe without offending someone else .The room smelled like a smoking room but the staff indicated it was not a smoking room. Saturday Breakfast 7:15am– not well stocked – no bagels, no eggs, and no staff around not what I expected or have experienced before. I went to get ice for the water jug for drinking water. There was none. I didn’t expect a 5 star resort but I didn’t reserve a 1 ½ star accommodation with Quality on the header of the invoice.
The staff is friendly, professional and efficient. I’m here almost every week and they always have my paperwork ready to go so check in is a breeze. They have excellent breakfast options, rooms are always spotless, and everyone is so accommodating. Never had a problem here!
During a recent stay, my niece lost a teddy bear her father had given her just before he died. She was devastated. The hotel staff went far above and beyond the call of duty, working tirelessly to find the bear and return it by overnight FedEx. I am in awe at their caring, concerned and compassionate attitudes. Something you just dont see these days!
I thought this was a great value. The room was very clean and comfortable, staff was so friendly and helpful, and easy access to the highway. Free breakfast was a plus! Great restaurants in the area too, especially The Spot Diner! I will definitely stay here again next time Im passing through Binghamton!
Nothing because I was forced to go to the wrong hotel because the Choice reservation person booked me at the wrong hotel. When I got to the correct one the had no reservation. The wrong hotel would not cancel without a $25. Charge so after loosing two hours and a good dinner I went to the wrong hotel in the same city but wrong area. Upon arriving I found out the manager charged me the fee for canceling which I hadn’t done. I had to get that undone with the desk clerk who couldn’t even explain vehy that charge had occurred. I didn’t get to eat until 4-1/2 hours after having picked up my dinner and then the WiFi did not work until 1:30 am. It made me unable to do my required office work which caused me to delay my morning appointment which caused me to miss my 2 appointment. The whole trip was totally frustrating and aggravating. I think that unless something major is done to fix this issue will make this my last Quality Hotel stay as well as warning to anyone asking me my opinion about the hotel chain .
The room and hotel was very clean, they serve breakfast and the staff is friendly and helpful. I was tired and just came in with out prior reservation the room was in expensive being that it was a lat minute thing they didnt take advantage and price the room at a higher rate.at the time I checked in I might have paid double just to get a room.Thank you
We stayed for convenience of location, not knowing there were other hotels close. We have never had any proofs a quality inn. Although the room was clean and cleaned every day, this hotel was in very bad need of repair and update. Breakfast was simple and not stocked well
Definitely the worst Choice hotel we stayed at over the years. Hotel is old and poorly maintained. The hotel is dark and not properly lighted and visible at night. When we got there last Friday night, only two cars in the parking lot, could not find front desk attendant. In the morning, very mediocre choices at breakfast, no orange juice, cold coffee. Overall a dump. Will not stay there again.
We had a very pleasant stay at your motel on Upper Front Street in Binghamton recently. The young man who checked us in (and also checked us out in the morning) was exceptionally personable and competent. Overall, this was a great value for the money, and we look forward to staying at this motel the next time we come up to Binghamton.
Pros - usually we stay close to Vestal (Binghamton Uni entrance). But the highway is very busy. We werent able to get a room, so tried Quality.Pros- liked the location (although further away from B/U) but could cross the street safely to Aldi market and not far from Theater (Crazy Rich Asians) for $6 per ticket, and nice seats, etc. and Cracker Barrel.Cons-Very small bathroom, but the shower was strong. Provided breakfast but when I opened an English muffin, was horrified to see mold inside the crevices of the English muffin.
After checking in at 2:00pm on 7/14/2018 I laid down to take a nap. After 30 minutes I started itching. We started looking around the room and sure enough there were bedbugs in the room. They moved me to another room after the clerk came down and took a picture of the bedbugs. I was extremely uncomfortable for the rest of the night. Will not stay here again
Hotel itself was updated, clean, had good service, provided everything needed for a comfortable nights stay. Location was nothing special (i.e., not a vacation destination but convenient to the interstate if youre stopping for the night). If youre visiting Binghampton, its probably further out of town than you want to be. But we were just passing through so it worked for us.
Was acknowledge and greeted . The guy was very friendly, he helped us to our room . Breakfast was hot and fresh. Conveinant to restaurants grocery stores ( with in walking distance). Bring your own pillows though. They are very uncomfortable. Bed was ok. Room was clean. Check out lady act like she didnt want to be there and we were a bother to her as we left. Would I stay there again ? Yes I would just bring my own pillow next time lol.
Binghamton facility was less than expected, especially for the price. Staff was pleasant but over worked. Breakfast was sub par. Room was shabby with carpeting stained and sticky. Towels left over from previous guest. AC unit smelled of urine when blower was engaged. Other guests also voiced disappointment in the facility.
Visiting this location shows that the staff truly cares about your experience and does everything to maintain the rooms in excellent condition. It also shows the corporate does not care about this location and everything is very dated and smells. The smell is not because of lack of cleaning, the smell is because its that old.
This place is scummy, it has no hot water, the temp of the rooms is either Africa or Antarctica, also the light switch didnt work. And last the door on my room sounded like something straight out of Jurassic park, put some WD40 on it or somthing!! The only good part about the hotel was the waffles for breakfast!
Stayed at Quality Inn in Binghampton. Chose a bad night since festival in Binghampton that night. Drove past several hotels that looked full approx. 10pm at night. Saw sign for Quality Inn and could not find driveway to it! Took a gamble and turned in to poorly lit driveway with no obvious hotel at end of it but found both hotel and entranceway looking like a back door.It didnt get any better from there.Staff was pleasant if unhelpful and bed was fine. Not sure about the rest of it.

2022-03-20The girl at check in was extremely unwelcoming. I was given incorrect information regarding the Incidental Hold on my card. I was handed 2 keys in a manilla envelope with room. Number and wifi password. No explanation about amenities. Terrible customer service. The Room was below basic. Carpet not glued to floor. hair in shower. The sheets on both beds had some kind of stains. The Hotel itself looks like no one cares. Desolate and unkempt. As a Choice brand your property should be down graded to a Rodeway Inn. I understand how difficult this Industry is. That does not mean Poor Customer Service and Neglect are acceptable excuses. Train your staff on Customer Service 101. Take pride in your property. This was definitely NOT a Quality Inn.

2022-03-20Front desk woman Andrea is very rude always has some kind of smart comment to make, she needs to be fired! Saying our room stinks and saying the smell from our room was coming all the way into the waiting area which is a total LIE! We have air freshener and she calls us a liar, saying it’s not febreze when it is. DO NOT STAY HERE, there are mice here!

2022-03-15Positive: The view of the mountain from the parking lot. Negative: I did not enjoy the slow staff, the dirty and run down rooms, the dark hallways, and the lack of security when it came to other entrances. I would not recommend this place, the location is terrible too.

2021-12-12Positive: Staff was very friendly and helpful, was there for an extended stay for work, they put me in a location that was much quieter then where the traveling where staying. Negative: I could not get the room temperature to be at a good level either to hot or too cold! It was just the unit in the room it was not controlled with a seperate thermostat. I suggested the idea to the front desk and they did say they are beginning an upgrade
