Originally we booked this hotel simply because it was the only one to allow dogs. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. And I’m not the kind of person to complain. From the minute we got here all 3 key cards do not work. After getting them replaced still they do not work. The carpet in our room is completely soaked with water throughout the whole room. The tub is completely brown as though no one has ever cleaned it. And as if all of that wasn’t bad enough the front desk put us in a room directly beneath them doing renovations so we got to listen to pounding hammers directly above us all evening. With no warning I might add. They didn’t offer to compensate in anyway. Stay away from this place
If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. The only positive was the front desk staff was nice. No water in the rest rooms in the main lobby. Breakfast was minimal. My remote control did not work and the batteries were so corroded it looked like they had been in there since the 1990’s.Toilet paper holder did not hold toilet paper. Very run down and needs a major overhaul. They need to shut this hotel down to do a major renovation.
Booked an overnight stay here, to get away from life for a night. Worst idea I could have had. First off was the elevator to go up to my room. The elevator floor was wet and when I got up to the second floor, I immediately saw garbage cans catching the leaking ceiling water. I got to the room and the ceiling in the room is stained, like it had leaked before as well. I paid extra for the room with a whirlpool tub, and the whirl pool tub didnt even work. There was absolutely no service or wifi, so I was nervous about missing calls the whole time I was there. The price was outrageous, given all the things that were wrong. At least the balcony view was decent.
Our room was without heat. Maintenance would not respond to fix the heat. We were not offered another room. Front desk brought in a space heater that was too small for the size of our room. It finally warmed the room around 4:30am. Needless to say it was a sleepless night. Owner offered a discount. Owner SHOULD comp the room!
This hotel is one of the worst. I travel for work… stay at many hotels. This place is trash. Don’t waste your money. Sleep in your car if you can get away with it. I planned on staying a little longer when I initially booked, but I can’t do it. Stomach can’t take the nastiness.Lingering odor. Toilet rocks, leaks, and constantly flows. Told the front desk. Still hasn’t been addressed after two days in room. The only saving grace is the young lady at the front desk. She’s awesome. But there is only so much she can do in this situation.Would give the service 5 stars… all those stars are for the front desk attendant. Maintenance gets 0-1 star.
It looked like the hotel hadn’t been cleaned in months. The elevator smelled like a litter box. The room was extremely out of date and the beds were horrible. The was exposed electrical wires near the light switch. If I hadn’t been so tired I would have checked right back out and continued my trip home.
This hotel is dirty! Paint chipping in rooms and hotels. Beds were dirty toilet didn’t work pool was slimy. Bathroom was gross the sliding glass door had dirty and bugs in them grass wasn’t mowed. Cobwebs all over. We had a penis yes penis decoration that was still tape above the bathroom door which is probably still there. It’s very clear they do not clean the rooms.
Not a pleasant stay. We booked river view room. Balcony was not clean and there were flies in the corner creek. One of the towel was neatly wrapped and looked washed. But inside it had a big yellow sedimentary stain on it. Had to go down stairs to get fresh towels. 1st morning breakfast had frozen meat and frozen egg peta. And rest dry breakfast(apple, granola bar, oat packets). 2nd morning no egg product was there. No breads. We dont eat meat, so we had to go outside to get our breakfast. We were a group of 4 families, and had our fix schedule(needed to visit places). But 2 family members got stuck in lift. During breakfast hours. It took them more than 1 hour to open the lift doors and get our friends out. Everything got delayed. In short no break fast, torture of getting stuck in lift, delayed plans. On 1 single morning of our vacation.
We stayed at the Quality Inn in Owego for a one night getaway. We were extremely pleased with our stay. We got a room with a two person jacuzzi tub. The room was clean, in good shape, everything worked perfectly. The water was hot and the tub was part of the room, not in the bathroom. There was also sliding glass doors to a balcony overlooking the river. I will definitely be going back. The woman at the desk was very very nice and efficient!
Hotel was just ok but likely wouldnt stay there again. The room for the most part was clean but common areas were not. The ceiling had stains all over it and the room walls and ceilings were dirty. The most off putting thing was the towels were supposed to be white but were not. The looked dingy and some were either stained or just not cleaned. I stayed at a Quality Inn in Vestal and was more than pleased so I thought I would take a shot with this one. Completely different.
The price was high for the quality of the room. $79+tax for one person. The person at the desk was professional and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable except that the curtains did not close. The hallways leading to my room were in various stages of being painted. It didnt seem crowded and it would have been better if the guests were all in a finished area while they worked nonstop getting finished.
Has less than pleasant odor. Room generally was clean and no hugs were observed. Southside room had minimal natural light. Spread had multiple spots on it but sheets appeared clean.Upon entry bedside lights did not function nor did the refrigerator. A little detective work revealed which cords had to be plugged into which outlets to get things functioning. One bedside lite/USB outlets did not work as extension cord provided was not long enough. Microwave was not plugged in and no outlet was readily available. Tv worked well as did internet. Bathroom was clean, ventilation worked but rack holding bat towels fell off. breakfast was minimal. Cold cereal dispensers were almost empty during my two days there. Coffee was available. While I did not use the pool guests who did gave positive comments.Employees were helpful and pleasant. Physical plant is very old. Room furniture was in very good condition. Two stars is a liberal rating as you get the minimal basics.
Positive: The location was perfect for proximity to visiting my sister and brother-in-law. Also, ideal for day trips to area waterfalls and attractions. Negative: I read reviews before we came. They were all over the place. Most talked about renovations. They were working on installing new carpeting in the hallway when we arrived. We rented two rooms. The rooms were in need of a facelift as well.
Our stay at this hotel was really great. Hotel seems clean and staff was really helpful. Our room was specious and clean as well. Seems like they are doing some renovations at the hotel but we didn’t here any noice so that was really good. Overall will come back in future also recommends this hotel.
The room was spacious and comfortable. I feel we got what we paid for. However, the hallways (all of them) smelled like insecticide, as if an exterminator had just treated the building. Im giving the hotel the benefit of the doubt that the hallways do not always smell like this, and it was a one-time offense to the nose.
Hotel Reviews:The FIVE “MUST HAVES” in any Hotel/Motel stay!Safe! Clean! Quiet! Good Wi-Fi! No Bugs!Quality Inn and Suites - Owego NY Part III stayed at the Quality Inn initially because Cornell in Ithaca was having their graduation, and there were no hotels available in Ithaca. My first stay was ok, but there were definitely issues that I noted in my first review. I decided to stay at the Quality Inn again, mainly because Ithaca was still booked. The room that I had this time was older, satinier, and smellier.. This hotel has a vented air system. So, basically the air is shared with all of the other rooms on the system. There were people cooking in their rooms, and I smelled every bit of it. One person put on some cheap perfume, and it filled my room. I had to shut the air off multiple times. If you are worried about Covid-19, this is not a secure situation. I used the microwave, and there was a plate of chicken in there! I admit, I was hungry after a day on the road… but not that hungry. I took it out and snapped a pic. HOUSEKEEPING 101: Checking the microwave for housekeeping is standard. It is terrible that they missed such an obvious thing. I went into the bathroom, and closed the door, and there was a large Bedbug dead on the floor! I took a pic, just to be positive, and it was definitely a bedbug. I zipped up my bags, and searched the room for bugs. I had already paid, and nothing else was available in the area, so I was stuck. The next morning I saw housekeeping in the hall, and I said, you have bedbugs, huh? She looked at me fake-dumbfounded, and said “Nooooo.” I went to the front desk and told them about the bedbug; the woman said they do not have them there. I said that I have a picture; then she said that they have an exterminator come in and kill them. Kill them?? Oh, the non-existent bedbugs that only I was lucky enough to encounter?? Aside from the bedbug, and nasty odors; the fire alarm went off, as it did the weekend before, so that was interesting. It’s always a nice way to meet your fellow guests. Sad to say that they violated one of my top five, NO BUGS! You don’t want to take them home.. I think my list of the top five is very simple, and also pretty basic.
Good value for the money. We had a room right on the Susquehanna River with beautiful views in the morning after it snowed. The pool was unfortunately closed. They do have 24/7 coffee available in the lobby and a continental breakfast in the morning with everything individually wrapped. There was the smell of stale smoke in the hallways and the ice machines were out of order.
Was not happy with my stay, the sheets, comforter, and pillows cases had stains on them and we had them replaced and it wasnt any better. The room also had a musty odor. And there wasnt any food put out for breakfast either. Ended up cutting my trip short and leaving a day early.
Rooms are outdated and need improvement, and there are obvious stains on the soft surfaces in the room (such as one of our chairs) as well as on most of the towels. It was also discovered that they do not regularly clean their rooms because of COVID, so hotel guests only get their rooms cleaned every other day. This was not explained to us either upon booking or upon checking in. When we went to the front desk to inquire about our room not being cleaned they simply gave us a stack of towels and said they would not be cleaning the room until the next day. I find this to be completely backwards, as rooms should be cleaned more thoroughly now in the midst of a pandemic instead of less often. When they did end up cleaning the room (once during our 4-day stay) they did not replace our empty tissues or refill our toilet paper, and also did not thoroughly vacuum or change our sheets. Spend a little extra money and find yourself a hotel that prioritizes the health and sanitation of their customers over being stingy and frankly lazy. The only thing that gives this place a 2-star review is the view out back of the river and closeby stores/restaurants.CDC Guidelines are as cited below (10/13/20) -Provide cleaning materials and conduct targeted and more frequent cleaning and disinfection of frequently touched surfaces (guest rooms, break rooms, public areas, fitness centers, and conference rooms, countertops, doorknobs, toilets, tables, light switches, phones, faucets, sinks, keyboards, etc.)
Absolutely awful hotel. Old and smelly and dirty. No updates. Stains in ceiling and carpet. Spiders in the bathroom. Sheets were wrinkled so much the bed looked slept in. Air conditioning inconsistent. Kept shutting off. I would never stay here again. Definitely not worth $70. Stay next door at the Hampden Inn. You will be doing yourself a favor!
One of my rooms smelled like cigarette burning, although the hotel is smoke free. The lobby attendant acted swiftly and graciously and provided me with another room. The lobby attendants on the other two days of my stay (Saturday and Sunday) were rude and seemed bothered by every request. The swimming pool was not heated as was listed on the site and looked extremely unkept. The rooms were also much older than I anticipated and the breakfast selection was limited. In the future, I will ensure that I book a hotel early enough in advance so that my options are more vast and that my stay is of highest quality.
This hotel has great beds and pillows. The towels were very soft which was surprising. Unfortunately the shower head was incredibly low and I basically had to kneel to use it. Anyone over 5’ 3” would definitely struggle to use the shower. Other than that it was a perfectly average hotel.
As soon as I walked in the door, I was amazed by the beauty and personal touches inside. I was greeted by a very pleasant clerk and handed a goodie bag after I checked in. The layout of the hotel was pretty cool and the pool and hot tub were a good size. The room was clean and sizeable. The breakfast was substantial and again, the staff went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. All in all..I was blown away by this hotel. No wonder it is an award winner!
This hotel is a bit long-in-the-tooth and is in need of a makeover. Quality took over the hotel the day before we checked in, so it cannot, yet, be graded as a Quality Inn product. But, the room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the kitchenette had a nice, clean fridge, microwave oven and coffee maker that was restocked every morning. The hotel staff were very nice, helpful and did their best.
I was surprise to have experienced what I did at this location. Housekeeping was less than accommodating although the manager came to assist if she did not do it nothing was done. I was there for 5 days and only had trashed remove once. The tub was never cleaned the entire time I was there and no replenishment of condiments where provided even after I asked for them each day. The bed was like sleeping on concrete I honestly believe the mattress was missing.
This hotel is in a small town and I was not sure what to expect. However, the staff was friendly, the room comfortable and clean. The bathroom is small, but clean. The air quality was good and we were able to adjust the temperature in the room easily so it was a comfortable sleeping temperature. The breakfast is complementary - the basic continental standards but if you are on the go and just need to grab something there was enough selection to find something to your preference. I would definitely stay again. Its also right off the highway - makes it really easy for on/off travel. It is also located directly across the street from a hardware store (we needed one) and other basic needs shopping stores. There is a park next to it and several restaurants. An ideal location.
The hot tub and bathroom had 2 to 3 inch black hair all over wasnt pleased at all about that. Could tell the bathroom mirror hadnt been cleaned properly due to what someone had written when I got out of shower and when I went to check out I just left keys at desk sense no one was even around
Mostly a good experience. Our room was clean upon arrival, it did have a smokey smell though. The balcony had a nice view of the river and the A/C was a life saver. The drawbacks were the facet on the sink spraying EVERYWHERE and the shower tub creaked and bowed while we used it, it was kinda scary. Other things the hotel had that were problematic were the pool and breakfast. Overall breakfast was great except the fruit. All the fruit in the joint tasted horrible, like vinegar, everyone in our party tried it and said the same thing. The pool in our hotel was closed but they did offer the pool at the next hotel for our use. The staff at the hotel were very friendly.
The location was ideal for our purpose. Our room included a king size bed with amazing pilllows and a view of the river. The shower had great water pressure but it was dated and tiny. The shelf over open closet was filthy and we had stored a shirt on it and my husband wasnt able to wear it because it was so dusty. The pool was not available for use but we were able to use the pool in the hotel next door. I wasnt impressed with the original front desk couple who had no customer service skills at all and were rude.
The rooms were adequate. We just used the rooms for home base during a golf trip. The complimentary breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs (from a milk carton), sausage patties, cereal, & fresh fruit. I had problems with the room keys each day. The lounge doesnt open until 4 PM. Not a bad location for the courses we were playing.
The place is a little dated but the room was okay. The heating system was very loud and noisy. Would wake me up in the middle of the night when it cranked on. You couldnt turn it off completely because then it got way too cold in the room. The shower head was secured in place by a big rubber band and the toilet flushing system had a mind of its own. Not quite what I would expect.
The pool is awkwardly located in the middle of the lobby where those eating breakfast have a view of it. No privacy for those trying to enjoy a swim! The breakfast buffet is skimpy and we found it to be picked over and food not replaced by the time we got there. Room had a musty odor. Ants noted on bathroom floor. The building seems to be an older one. It wasnt the worst Ive seen nor was it the best. Had a great view of the river!
Daughter and I booked queen rooms at the same exact time and assured we could have rooms side by side. They misbooked her room, put her in a double on the other side of the hotel. Since they overbooked, they couldnt correct THEIR error. Not pleased from check in on. Theres garbage strewn throughout the hallway well beyond checkout and times for housekeeping being on staff. Dirty washcloths left in our room on check in. Filthy. Not worth the price.
This was our familys first time in New York. It was hard to find because they changed the name from Red Roof Inn to Quality Inn 2 days before we arrived. Lol. Once we realized it was the same place the lady at the desk, Michelle, was very friendly and apologetic. She got us in our rooms quickly even with the new system she just started learning how to use. The place was clean although I still disinfected everything and re-cleaned my bathroom. We had a view by the lake which was nice. They served complimentary breakfast with a good variety of choices. I would stay here again.
Lighting was just hanging from wires in hall way. Bathroom had pubic hair behind the door and around the toilet. Both sinks were clogged, the front desk explained that they only have 1 plunger in the hole place and its used on toilets. Hearing that I declined the use of that on the sinks. Also the place is very out dated and needs a rehab. The surrounding hotels are much nicer.
Beautiful motel located on the river. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Nicks long island ice tea took away the stress of the 12 hour drive from NC. Did not book early enough to get a room on the river side, but will next year. Thanks so much to the staff for making us feel welcome.
Hotel Looks so outdated.. furnitures, carpets and bathrooms need updates. Indian personnel working at this hotel cook Indian food at the second floor. Indian food smell in my room and all over second floor hallway. Poor internet connections in my room. It a pleasant stay.
The hotel was ok. Older but clean. The lounge and resturant were acceptable at best. My chicken came out undercooked and when I notified the waitress she immediately handled it appropriately by offering us a new entree or other suggestions of making it right. However, the manager came out, removed the plate and didnt say one word to us. I felt this was rude and all in all the waitress shouldve been the manager for her care to the matter. Sad that people that treat customers like this make the big bucks, leaving those handling the customers with no recognitions or the extra pay.
Very dirty and dated hotel. Property is in desperate need of a remodel. Bathroom was size of a closet. Room had water stains all over ceiling, stains on carpet and walls. I had booked for 2 nights and left after the first. Don’t stay here! Go next door to the Holiday Inn Express for about $20 more. It’s a lot nicer.
After 4x of going to the front desk and telling them the air conditioning was not working in my room they moved me to a different room. This was after speaking to two different staff members and a span of at least 3hrs of oh try this oh I have to call my boss, if its not working by the time the next employee comes in we will get you another room. So at about a 1130pm we switched rooms it was a bigger room but was horribly filthy. There was mouse droppings on the night stands. A used band aide on the floor, some mysterious brown smears on the comforter, hair in the sink. It was disgusting but by midnight I was exhausted. I slept on top of the sheet with out a comforter. In the morning at check out told the front desk mgr about everything that had happened and told her that I have pictures of all of it and her response was oh ill make sure to pass it along to my mgr .
Rudest greeting Ive ever received at a hotel, and this was the front desk manager! Cobwebs in one corner of the room. End table had dust that I could write my name in. Toilet ran off and on all night. Sink was in the room, not the bathroom, and had no place to hang a towel. Room was extremely expensive. Will never stay here again.
NOT A HAPPY MOTHER OF THE BRIDE. Where do I even begin. I rented the Starfire Ballroom for my daughters formal Wedding, they set up the tables and the tables clothes has stains all on then and wrinkled bad, I ask the lady in charged if those were the covers they were going to use and she said yes. ...oh no you are not I replied, I want stain-free and wrinkle-free table covers. Then later that night we went back to finish working on setting everything up they had set the tables and the silverware had water stains all over them. Then I go to check into my hotel room which I rented a suite just to go to my room, look around and someone had went potty in the toilet, it was never cleaned and some type of powder, substance all over the little coffee table along with a little rock, you can figure out what that was, that room had never been even cleaned. Now back to the wedding, at cocktail hour they said that the servers were very rude to them during cocktail hour, after a couple complaints I called the head lady into the ballroom and had a little discussion with her, after that the attitude changed. After the receptions my husband my cell and the bride and groom sit down at a table and they were reading the cards the server come up to me and asked me if we wanted the leftover cake I said sure of course I do she brings me out to Small Cakes I so will wheres all the other cake that was on the table and she informed me that they threw it away yes they threw away my daughters wedding cake I dont care if it was sliced they should have come to me and ask me what do you want me to do with it, not take it upon herself to throw around $300 worth of cake in the garbage when I have family that would have loved to have that cake. The Starfire Ballroom is absolutely gorgeous they made beautiful Renovations but what good is it if you do not have proper Staffing, if you do not have proper Linen, if you cannot take pride in your work to make a beautiful presentation. People want top quality when they pay $9,000 for a wedding. The outside garden area is also beautiful but you would think with having two weddings back-to-back that they would have clean off the sidewalks and the walkway, my daughter swept it all down and remove cobwebs from the gazebo. Think long and hard and really look further before you go renting a room, I learned a valuable lesson....looks is not everything. We took photos of everything just incase someone need proof. I know the other weddings did not go so well either, she said she was going to post a review also. The one thing I can say good about the place, the food was fantastic.
We spent our holiday in this hotel, the service was fantastic, we get all the amenities in the room, the staff were very helpful and ready to help, I have many reasons to return here and I can recommend to any person wish to visit, thank you for the exceptional service that exceeded our expectations.
I stayed at the Oswego inn on 8/24/19 and it was the worst night ever. The pillows and sheets must of been 12 years old. When I sat on the edge of the bed I could feel the wire edge of the springs. Typically you shower with HOT water. Woke up in the morning to only take a cold shower. When discharging at the front desk the woman asked how our stay was? When my daughter said there was no HOT water to take a shower she just said that we should have called the desk. And continued to tell us the plumber wS called. Never again will I stay there.
Money is tight because they cannot get guests in so they hire family, place is riddled with bed bugs, and fleas. And the staff they do have that cleans room, steal from guest refrigerators. Would not recommend none of the three, for they are all ran by the same group of people.
I never got a call back from manager as I was promised 3 times. All the reasons we picked hotel were closed ( lounge/restaurant) with no explanation. Healthy breakfast was a joke. Even check out was screwed up. Never again will I book at quality inn. More like lack of quality
Very nice great breakfast, hot foods, cold foods alot of varieties pool is nice clean and warm, resturant and lounge were a plus great nightly specials, well priced quality food , great friendly staff, Hotel room was clean and comfortable , priced great . Alot of amenities made the stay .
Where do I begin? The weird blood stain on the comforter. No remote for the TV. Holes in the towels. Water pressure is awful. Thermostat doesnt actually work. No sink space in the bathroom. Toilet paper roll holder doesnt allow for the roll to move properly. Edges of towels are unraveling. Pillows are lumpy.
Needs improvement the out side smelled like a bad like a over flowing toilet and a smelled like weed in the hallway the key card was a issue and I did get the room I expected from before the woman at the front desk was very short with me and did not fix my over stay time or a better rate
Horrible would not even recommend to my worst enemy and the ppl that worked there with the owners really do think there doing things the right way well I spent almost 400 dollars for 5 nights and was told we couldnt come back because we had visitors after 7pm are you kidding me its a hotel isnt it and we had ppl over rto our rooms that we rented how is that a reason to not let someone come back Ive never had any problems I will these new dam owners and Im calling red roof and am going to get something for my anxiety they caused me there and we left stuff in our room they never revwn called to see if we wanted to come back and pick it up rude and so so not business like

2022-02-06My stay was absolutely disgusting, the shower had dirt and other disturbing things. The door was scraped and looked like a dog attack the door. Breakfast ended at 9:00, but didn’t tell us that, there was nothing in the room that would even tell us that “breakfast” ended at 9:00. The pool was shut down. Gym was black and I didn’t see anyone in there. My mom stepped on something on the floor. Overall this place is horrible and they should do ALOT of redoing.

2022-04-25The rooms are in badly used shape. Heater/ac very loud. Toilet rocked so badly had to wedge cardboard under it. The breakfast seems to end very early 9 am is a bit early. One person on staff seemed to be upset when you asked for additional towels most of the staff were friendly. The neighboring room door slammed hard when shutting sound was very annoying

2022-05-22Hotel hallways are dirty and stink. Elevator door slams loud when it closes, which disturbs people in the room next to it. Beds are horrible and pillows have no stuffing in them. Air conditioner wouldnt cool the room down even at lowest setting. I have stayed in a lot of hotels, this is the absolute worst.

2022-06-11It was just overnight, but there was little to no toilet paper, the fridge was almost out of its plug in, the rooms had cobwebs and the breakfast they give you, is a joke and ends at 9am. Besides the pool I wouldnt stay there again. Its the only reason I gave it a 3☆. All round, Id say maybe a 2.5/5

2022-06-12Not good, I had cobwebs and there was body hair in and around the bathtub and floor, it wasnt just hair off the persons head, it was also the private area hair, will Never stay here again.

2021-10-02Absolutely disgusting in every way. The building was dilapidated. There was literally other humans hair on my sheet and pillows. Every single towel was stained. The windows didnt close. There were no locks, they barely fit the window frames and wouldnt close completely. The door to the room was cracked and looked like it was molding. There were spider webs and dust all throughout the room. I can not fathom that my room had been cleaned at any point in the last 6 months. It was very obvious the sheets arent washed or changed between guests. The soap dishes in the shower were the most disgusting things Ive ever seen in my life. Ive got what appears to be bug bite marks on my legs and backside. I didnt sleep because of the filth. Ive never taken the time to write a review before. This was atrocious. I can not believe I spent money on this hotel. You all should have paid me to stay there and subject myself to the conditions. The ONLY reason I didnt complain or ask to move rooms was because I figured Id survive one night. I didnt. I am physically alive still, but I will NEVER stay in another one of your establishments for the rest of my life. I travel a lot for business, a lot of people ask me for recommendations about where to stay. From here onward, my recommendations will forever start with whatever you do, DO NOT stay at a Quality Inn and Suites. Absolutely awful in every way.

2021-11-07Told the front desk our heat wasn’t working the lady was extremely rude and never came. Went back to the front desk and a different guy was there he handed me batteries and told me to replace the batteries myself. When I explained I didn’t know how to do that he gave me a dirty look and said I’m very busy give me a minute. The room was extremely gross. Curtains were stained with what looked like urine. The horrible smell of pet odor was unbearable. Holes in the carpet and bugs on the lamp shade. The toilet rocked when u used it. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

2022-06-16Was a good place. Not much for staying places. This was special trip for the night to a ballgame nearby.

2022-01-27Its OK. Remodeling in kitchen area meant no food out for breakfast but the lady went in the back amd gave Me a couple of brkfst sandwiches..... this is one of the things that drives me crazy w hotels. Advertise free brkfst, but its like cold cereal, watered down juice, coffee w cheapest creamer available, and a granola bar or a yogurt that is the kind Ive never eaten. This doesnt sound like breakfast to me. And just based on the feeling Ive been tricked makes me not trust anything about the entire place. And so, when this happens, I wont book another stay at that hotel.
