The food here was delicious! I am not a vegetarian but my uncle has been for over 40 years. He said he had wanted to try this place for a while so we finally did. He regrets not trying it sooner. The food was so tasty. We started with the mango habanero wings which had heat and so much taste. Then he had a Boca burger and I had the chicken katsu. We both agreed my chicken katsu was the stand out dish. It was so tasty and I genuinely would never have known it wasnt real meat. It is a must try dish and my favorite. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is delicious!
Co worker Did a pick up today. Terrible impossible burger bottom bun stale and burnt.fries were ok.Even tho my co worker invited me for lunch def. Never again! Over priced couldnt even pack forks and ketchup for the fries.Co workers salmon salad looked really good though.
Service is great because if anything is amiss, the owners leap through time, putting things right that once went wrong, hoping each time that the next leap will be the leap home. They also have pretty much every formulation of vegetarian meat substitutes imaginable. Given that they have both the Impossible Burger and the Beyond Meat burger, somewhat disappointed that they don’t offer a “Beyond Impossible” burger consisting of one of each patty, though I suppose that might stretch the time-space continuum beyond its breaking point.
I met a friend here for an overdue lunch catch-up on a rainy day. My thoughts are usually all over the place but when I was here I was grounded in the cozy atmosphere and simply prepared, delicious healthy food. We ordered steamed vegetable dumplings, Buddha bowl and a quesadilla. The peaceful and relaxed pace of the meal made for an equally great conversation with my friend. Put this place on your list.
This place is not vegan or vegetarian. Last 2 orders were burnt so badly - charred. Not edible. Air fries were completely blackened. Bottom of peach and blueberry pie was black. How could the chef let that leave the kitchen. Order was also wrong both times. So disappointed. Inedible food. Too bad.
We were looking for a vegan friendly place to eat at, and found this gem on Google. If youre looking for good comforting food, vegan or not, this is the the place youd wanna go to. First, they have TONS of vegan options! We had 2 burgers, the impossible and the Crispy chicken soy burger, both of them were great! And not only was the food delicious, our waitress was the nicest! She was so friendly, helped us decide patiently, she was just a wonderful hostess and really delighted our stay. I highly recommend this place :)
I love this place!! The food is incredibly fresh and delicious, and there are so many options from super healthy to comfort, but all still good for you and the planet — I like that they have everything from vegan alternatives to organic salmon & chicken. This is my go-to spot when I dont feel like cooking but still want to eat something healthy, yet satisfying — usually takeout is one or the other! Also the staff is so cheerful; its always a pleasant pickup experience. I only wish I had discovered this place sooner :)
Food and service were both great!Food was phenomenal. Got the garlic fries with an impossible burger and soy chicken burger.Delicious. The burgers are very filling, fries are extra on the side. A little pricy, but that’s standard for Manhattan and the burger was good enough to justify. The impossible burger was great. What really impressed me was the crispy soy chicken burger. Those can be kind of hit and miss, but this is the first time I’ve enjoyed a soy chicken burger. Would recommend.
This is hands down the best vegetarian restaurant! A true classic. My boyfriends mom used to go here when she was a kid and now we go! The flavors are so bright and fresh. I strongly recommend checking it out - I usually don’t leave reviews but I want this restaurant to stay alive post covid because its just so good. Open since 1974 - let’s keep it going for at least 40 years more!
This place is Phenomenal! Ginger chicken superb, desserts are just perfect! One of the best food quality Ive tried in New York, and they make you feel at home. This is the place I go when I want to treat myself with super healthy delicious food. Prices are really really fair!!!!
I randomly chose this restaurant for lunch today and I loved everything about my experience. The Buffalo chicken burger (sandwich??) was soooo good and the lady/person who helped me was so sweet and made me feel so welcome and comfy even though I was only there for like 10 minutes. Definitely recommend!! 🥰😋
They have amazing wraps!!! I’m not a practicing vegetarian, but was still very impressed by this place. I picked up the buffalo soy chicken wrap and it came with guacamole and chips. It’s tasted delicious and was perfectly made. Highly recommend!!! Can’t wait to go back.
My boyfriend and I loved it so much we came back two days in a row! The menu has a great variety of items to satisfy allllll of your cravings (vegan and non-vegan). We ordered the impossible burger and vegan philly cheesesteak for lunch the first day and came back the next day for brunch!! Their big breakfast was just as delicious. Both days we received impeccable service. We will definitely return soon! We will have something different every single time!! We are sooooo happy to have found this amazing restaurant!!

2022-04-02Love this! This cozy cafe had calming energy and a fantastic menu with vegan+soy, soy-free vegan, carnivorous, and pescatarian options. I had the garlic beyond Philly cheesesteak with fries and it was so, so good! The cheese was perfect, not too gooey, not too solid, and the bread was perfect, holding everything in a neat rectangle. The service was also very welcoming! They serve wine and beer as well.

2021-09-13What a lovely place for vegans. Went for lunch and was surprised how busy this small place was. I’ve been passing by it so many times and never got in until today. Service was very friendly and knowledge . When I asked for the gluten free bun for my vegan burger, the lady immediately updated me that the gf bun has eggs in it and offered to put it over salad. I got the aloha pineapple beet burger, grilled vegetables and lemonade. All tasted great. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes on the menu .

2022-09-05Lovely vegetarian spot close to Trader Joes. I popped in and had artichoke with remoulade. Being from new Orleans, i was drawn to this. It was great! I definitely wanted more remoulade. The chef was kind and the server attentive. It is a cozy place that I would definitely recommend.

2022-07-23I knew I was coming to New York and I couldn’t wait to try Quantum Leap! It did not disappoint. I had the vegan divas sub and it was the best vegan sub I’ve ever had. The ham and cheese, fresh basil, the sauce, it was perfection. The sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection. The had complimentary iced green tea which was refreshing. Our waitress very attentive and super friendly. I’m glad I made this restaurant my first stop. I will be coming back.

2022-08-14Every time we come here the food is as amazing as previous time. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful. I think this is one of my favorite vegan spots in town. FYI this is not the best spot for a date night, but a place for really tasty and high quality vegan food

2022-06-04I came to Quantum Leap nearly two years ago right before the beginning of the pandemic and it was so memorial that I came back during a short visit to nyc. Quantum leap feels like a hidden gem with their cozy quiet space and extensive vegan menu. We felt very well taken care of and the food was spectacular. Highly recommend 💖
