Love this place!Queens Hardware is my go to place. I just recently bought a coop around the corner and I’m always doing projects around my apartment. I’m always needing various tools and hardware. This place has everything. The store is packed with merchandise from floor to ceiling. Because the store has so much merchandise I always need help finding what I need and both of the men that work there are more than ready to help. This is truly your neighborhood hardware store.
Firstly, Im an owner of a small business that does custom artwork and decorative painting for my clients in Manhattan. I come here often to pickup odds and ends. For a 3-aisle shop, they pack a lot in here. You can get Ben Moore classic products, also Aura, Advance, oil Satin Impervo, STIX primer, Minwax wood finishing products, basic waterborne glazes, Modern Masters products, and nice balance of products to fill out the store. From sample pints to 5-gallon orders, you can get what you need to paint a house. Like most small hardware stores, you can always come across random things you never knew you needed.This is also my go-to for all household needs like lightbulbs, random plumbing stuff, screws, nails, picture-hanging hardware, or solvents, plaster supplies, and tile stuff. They always seem to have the random thing I need for our apartment.Its a shame that many one-time purchasers are able to leave the same review as loyal customers. Perhaps some people prefer the idea of the big corporation takeover like everywhere else America, and want local paint and hardware stores to operate like Home Depot. This is our local paint and hardware store where if you need service, you ask for it and receive all the attention you need, but if you want to be left alone, youre not going to be pushed into anything. These are our friends. Super friendly, and get to know your family, you get to know theirs, and its what small businesses do for local communities - building relationships.
Horrible customer service! There is onlyone employee in the store who is a very rude man. He was not helpful and would not answer any questions about items in the store. If he does not want to help customers, he should not work in the store. There are a lot of unemployed people in the neighborhood who appreciate having a job at this time. Don’t go to this store unless you have no other option!!!
Ok so this was my second time in this store and the same Indian man had the worst customer service Ive ever experienced I definitely will not be returning if OBVIOUSLY hates his job and treated the white shoppers better
Great service and wide selection of the basics in hardware and cleaning. They also have heavy duty shopping carts with steerable front wheels.
Good experience buying Benjamin Moore Paint here. Staff was helpful. Will return for more paint and other stuff as needed. Hours are convenient as is the location.

Online hours say opening at 8am. Hours posted on the door says 8:30am but its not 8:50am and still isnt open. Really threw off my plan for the day. Despise false advertising/irresponsible businesses.

2022-07-19I went to get paint for my house and the types and the quality of paint they gave us great. I have went here several times with great customer service and all around great environment. Went to several paint shops but this one is something great. Would definitely recommend!

2021-10-18I had such a great experience in this store, 1st of all, with finding everything I needed in just one place at very reasonable prices. And 2nd of all, the manager had helped me find everything I needed, he gave me good tips on the projects I was going to work on, and made sure I had the best shopping experience.I’ll definitely go back for more. 2018-09-18Super friendly staff that isnt pushy. Prices are reasonable. Call to make sure theyre open before going, though. Website says they open at 7, sign on door says they open at 8, after making 2 failed trips so far this morning I can attest to the fact that neither is adhered to strictly. I kept a 5 star rating since this flexible hours policy seems to the be the norm in the neighborhood.

2021-05-21Most rude guy I have ever met behind the counter. I genuinely came in to purchase and needed help any questions I asked he did not answer at all. Why open a business if you do not want to help your customers. Go somewhere else!!

2018-12-05Unfriendly person and disrespectful. He wasnt paying attention to my needs because he was busy on the phone listening to his voicemails. I was the only one at the store and it was around 5:30pm, the store was empty and he didnt even bother to hang up and answers to my questions, I left the store and went two blocks away and I got what I need with the big smile from the owner. never going to come back. He is supposed to get NO star , 1 star is too much for him

2017-06-04A local hardware store for all those little pieces you need. They are convenient and helpful. Perfect, they help you get the stuff you need, when you dont know what you need. As opposed to Home Depot where you can get slot of stuff for cheaper prices and come away without getting the stuff you need.
