Good library but they should let you return books when they are not open (for example on Monday June 20 a new holiday) and I walked over a mile to return two books since my branch is closed for a year and a half.

The staff at the check out desk is very unfriendly. Its my second time visiting this asotira library, it was a same staff and I felt the same way. There is no guidline or instruction about the process (the process was not clear if I need to put the card first to pick up the book or pick up the book first and then put the card for check out). When I was lost, she told me what to do, with rude tone. I was VERY unpleasant. I usually go to steinway library (ditmars), cant compare with them. I want to report this to queens library but seems there is no such a section in their website.

I love this library. Although its small library its still well maintained. Very organized and the best part a out queens library is that: you get to print 20 pages for free with ur free library card. What an awesome idea. I wish NYPl (Bronx Manhattan) would let us print 20 pages for free. Shame on you nypl. The librarians were very sweet and it was very quiet . I went there day after Christmas . Must visit if your local. Enjoy your tax paid benefits.

It is not adapted to study, the customer service was unkind. I live in this neighborhood but I have to go to Manhattan if I wan to use the library to study?

Im new to QPL but having been to 5 different locations and this one twice. Both times the librarians up front have had such a nasty attitude. God forbid you interrupt their gossip mid conversation with a question. Its a shame since this location is the most convenient for me. The woman in the kids section was super sweet the others should take some pointers from her.

The place is always neat, the staff are very welcoming, and polite. They deserve more respect, I see people come enter the library and make noise, they know they will get kicked out, but they still do it. I met so many wonderful people there. I hope the library does not to go anywhere.

I love the ladies who work here who are quick with a smile! The male librarian was abrasive and unhelpful when I asked for help finding a book I had heard referenced on the news - I quickly learned to use the Queens Library website whenever I needed help finding a book, and I love how easy it is to request books (and renew them) online! I come here for books on pretty regular basis, and Im usually in and out as its not really a place to study since it does get really loud in there when kids are out of school.

Very helpful. Policies in place to minimize risk of coronavirus spread. In particular, the staff were very helpful with the checkout process and patience with all of the patrons. Excellent location!

One of the loudest libraries Ive ever been to. When the kids got out of school and came to my table, they talked without any regard to anyones studies. I began giving them the evil eye til they caught the idea and moved to the stacks to carry out their conversation/phone calls. I was a little peeved that the librarians wouldnt do anything about the constant din, until I realized that THEY were the ones yelling to each other from across the library. Its tough to find a quiet library outside of Bryant park, but this place is a little ridiculous. Note to librarians: Shh!
