One of the greatest things to open up a child mind to allow them to visit the library not the internet but a library its so many books to see and so much to learn and to experience they have book clubs they have movies and so much more please send your children to the library the greatest thing to do.

I left work and drove over 45 minutes from Manhattan to get Rochdale library. I arrived 30 minutes before closing. I scanned my card and was assigned a computer. I tried signing into the computer and the system would not allowing me. I then spoke to one of the representative and she told me, “I can no longer login into to computer because they shut the computer system down.” I then explained my situation to the representative and told her all I need to do is print two documents. I also, asked her why would they shut the system down 30 minutes before closing. She said, “that has nothing to do with her and I should just come back tomorrow.” I then requested to speak to the manager Jasmine Harrison; who came and told me the system close down 15 mins before closing. I then told her I came here 30 minutes before and she told me, “sorry the system is already shut down.” Another representative Jermaine Dennie suddenly approached me being very rude and hostile telling me that’s how the system is and come back. I told him I’m not talking to him I’m talking to the manager and he continued on with his hostility; he gave the impression that he wanted to fight me. So, the manager Jasmine Harrison had to tell him go to the back. I understand that people do have bad days, but don’t take that energy to work with you and take it out on the consumer. I’ve been with queens library for over 10 years and I’ve never experienced poor service like this.

This library is very cold in both summer and winter! It also gets very noisy most of the times and the workers are reluctant and unable to control the unbearable noise from teenager who come to the library to socialize. Some adult also talk very loud on their phone without anyone telling them to lower their voices. The workers are professional most of the times but they are also loud in their conversations at times. This library seriously needs to be more warm and quiet!!!!

Library is very nice and useful, by default. The staff in particular is what makes it worth a visit. Considering it has been quite some time since I last visited a library, I always have questions, to which the answers might be pretty simple and often are. The staff, however, handles and answers my questions with respect and care. If they treat me like this, the children for sure must get red carpet treatment! Simply asking that you keep it up, it will not go without notice!

My grandson loved coming to the library. The staff especially Ms. Beth was very helpful in finding books he liked to read.

I love this place its pretty awesome. The staff love what they do. One of the staff name Howard was very helpful in informing me of the many resources this library has to offer the community. Come spend a day here

I love to go studying here, despite the fact that there are so many kids. the staff is the most helpful and welcoming staff i’ve ever seen. the events that are held here are also fun, so 10/10

I know the library extention was needed and built for the youth but the exterior design of the extention.....oh boy I don know what to say....Im hoping its not finished yet..thats what I ask myself when I drive by..if not,thats what it portrays...A much better and creative job could have been done.

Their staffs are always pleasant and ready to assist nomatter who. They are so pleasant. They treat you like a king. I love them.
