I hired Rabbit Movers to move my 1 bedroom apartment from New York to New Jersey. My furniture was well-wrapped and handled with care. The moving team was efficient and worked well together. In New Jersey, my belongings were transferred from the truck to a storage unit. Everything was in perfect condition. The storage unit was packed neatly. The movers alerted me to where they put certain things. I would use RabbitMovers again.
Excellent. Contacted Rabbit at the last minute for a cross country move. (I called Friday for a Monday load.) Dante and Tito arrived in the arranged window and got right to work. They were super professional, careful and present-minded. They were so efficient that they finished the job in half the time I booked them for. To their credit Rabbit refunded me an hour that was not used. I feel extremely grateful and fortunate, as Rabbit met and exceeded my expectations. I would use them again without hesitation.
Excellent moving company. Fast response time, reasonably priced. Movers were on time (early in fact) and 2 very nice gentlemen. They provided professional, quick, and efficient service. They moved my entire apartment in a breeze and made sure all my belongings were handled properly. Set up all furniture when arriving at the new apartment. No problems at all with this moving company. They were referred to me by a friend and I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. I will definitely be using them for future moves. They also did not have ridiculous pricing like some moving companys did and thats why I chose them and am very happy I did! Choose Rabbit Movers and your life will be a lot easier!!
If you love a team that gets the job done you will love using Rabbit Movers. My girlfriend and I just moved out of a one bedroom apartment into a home about an hour and 15 minutes away. They were accommodating and met a realistic price point. This was in no way an easy move, We had large heavy items and even machinery. The gentleman that moved us took it on with ease and no issues. They understood what needed to be protected and just jumped right in as soon as they got there. They arrived 10 minutes early to look over everything and started right on time. Anything we requested was received and accommodated. Moving in general is stressful and if I had to do it again, I’m grateful I would have the team at Rabbit Movers for the job!
I had a great experience with Rabbit. My movers were Steve and Jonathan and I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. They were communicative on the morning of my move and arrived right on time. They were friendly, positive and both had great vibes the whole day. They did everything quickly and efficiently with wonderful attitudes. They made sure everything was exactly where we wanted it in the new place. they even offered to move furniture around for us if we werent happy with our placement decisions. I would say thats above and beyond. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Rabbit (and especially Steve and Jonathan) to friends and family going forward.
Had the best ever move into temporary storage courtesy of Rabbit. Nikola, Filip, and Jesus were outstanding: communicative, careful, courteous, efficient, speedy, totally dependable and trustworthy. And maybe even more important than that, they transformed what is usually a highly stressful unknown into a fun and reassuring experience. I got lots of quotes for my move and rabbit movers was the best option. The moving team of Steve and Jonathan were amazing!! They moved everything out my house without any issue and very fast and friendly. It was a bummer that my sofas didnt fit in my front door of my new place. Rabbit movers beyond exceeded our expectations. We had a big move- 2 Brooklyn apartments worth of furniture/boxes being moved up to Connecticut AND we underestimated the number of boxes we had. Our movers were incredibly helpful, friendly and efficient. We would 100% use them in the future and highly recommend for any move!
The office staff were extremely efficient, responsive, and understanding of my fluid moving date and inventory. More importantly, my movers, Chris and Jordan were fantastic! Moving is always a bit of a pain…to say the least.Let’s just say that my partner and I couldn’t have been more grateful to Rabbit Moving & Storage as they took an apartment that we lived in for 4 years and helped us get everything out so swiftly.Our movers were Steve and Jonathan. Considering the amount of items we had, it was remarkable at how well they were able to maintain everything. They were also very good about checking in with us about where certain items/boxes needed to be placed.These two were certainly the best movers I’ve had in a while and I would definitely seek them out again…granted I hope to not be moving again any time soon….because it’s stressful! They made it manageable though :-)
I work for Brooklyn Free School and we used Rabbit Moving after booking them only days before our leave date in June of 2022. They responded quickly to our request for a quote, which proved to be spot-on. No surprise extra charges. The guys who did the work arrived early and cleared the building, a five-story brownstone, in about 3 hours. They took turns taking breaks so the work never stopped. I highly recommend Rabbit Moving and we would absolutely use them again.

Let’s just say I now have a go-to company for every move in my future. Rabbit moving and storage was hands-down the better company of the two. Considerably priced, pleasant and responsive representatives who actually answered the phone, punctual, undamaged goods, advanced in technology (I was able to track my stuff throughout the entire move), and the owner Anthony was the icing on the awesome cake because he was relatable, patient, and extremely helpful when it came time for my delivery and some adjustments that were necessary in order to proceed. I had no idea they also shipped cars because I definitely would not have dealt with mayflower otherwise. If you want your stuff moved without any muss or fuss within a timeline that suits your needs, look no further than Rabbit moving and storage. I will be using again and again, and telling everyone I know.
This is the third time Ive used Rabbit Movers and they were amazing yet again! There were only two guys this time but they were just as efficient at packing and protecting all my furniture in an incredibly fast time. My slot was for 1pm but they called at 10.30am to say theyd actually be early which worked out great for me! Really friendly and good banter all round. I cant recommend this company enough if you want to take most of the stress out of your moving day!
These guys were amazing! They drove all the way from NYC to Plattsburgh, NY. Steve and John were a great team. They were super fast, friendly and professional. Before loading our TV they wrapped it and came prepared with a box to put it in for extra protection. They took my bed frame apart, wrapped everything with care and they even wrapped up my entertainment center with padding, along with other items before loading into the truck. I could not have asked for a better pair of guys to move us. We lived in an apartment 3 flights up, they weren’t out of breath or tired at all even at the end. They moved us from Plattsburgh to Glens Falls which is about a 2 hour drive. They were quick and efficient moving us in. They put together any furniture that was taken apart correctly which is impressive considering it took me about 2 hours just to figure out how to put together my bed frame. They made it a point to put everything where we wanted it and offered to move anything around for us at the end if we wanted help rearranging anything. At the end everything was in one piece. They made what is usually an extremely stressful day a breeze. When we move in the future, we will not only be using Rabbit Movers again but specifically request John and Steve. Thanks once again for everything.

As a single girl in NYC, moving is tough. These movers are awesome. They are very responsive to email and pricing is fair. I felt confident I understood the process and what to expect. The move itself was SO fast and they arrived exactly on time. Nothing was damaged. I will absolutely use Rabbit Movers again and will recommend them to friends.

I first spoke to Marina who helped me with the pricing, negotiating and finalizing my move details. The team gave me an hour call ahead and a 10 minute call ahead.Steve and Jonathan were both incredible. They made my first moving experience amazing, they went above and beyond, packed everything carefully, wrapped my delicate stuff, unassembled and assembled everything in a smooth manner. They exceeded expectations!In addition, they were very friendly and it felt like I had two friends helping me with the move. Awesome service. The movers did an excellent job and we’re really careful with our items. Nothing broke!One piece of advice would be to make sure to order enough bins. We underordered so we had a lot of our stuff in small containers but the movers took it like a champ!
This was our second time moving with Rabbit Movers and once again we couldnt be happier. Steve and Jonathan are amazing, professional, super nice and have an excellent working relationship / rapport together. They were extremely efficient, timely, and collaborative in moving our 2bdrm apartment. We were well prepared for them, which helped to make the entire moving experience smooth and surprisingly easy. Their on-site advice and recommendations for taking care of artwork and musical instruments was highly appreciated and accepted and handled all of our possessions with care and respect. Unlike a lot of other movers, Steve and Johnathan went above and beyond what we expected. They took care of our possessions as if they were their own. Rabbit Movers gave us valuable peace of mind for a smooth transition to our new home. Cant recommend them enough!
I am so sorry to have to share an awful review of this company and in particular their CEO, Anthony Collazo, because they have been GREAT during our past three moves with them. But today was entirely different. According to Anthony, in our terms for todays move, the crew was not supposed to disassemble any furniture. However, they went ahead & disassembled our bed frame because they could not fit it into their vehicle as assembled (unlike in past moves, when their vehicle could accommodate our furniture, including the bed frame, as assembled). Per Anthony, the crew disassembled it and told us it was missing screws; however, it was not, they did not, and it had been completely together and operable before they arrived. When the crew reassembled the bed frame after moving it to our desired location (the frame they werent supposed to disassemble) they did so incorrectly, due to misplacing screws they said hadnt been there to begin with. After the crew left a large piece of the bed frame fell off. When I then requested they return to fix it, Anthony yelled at me while reading the terms to me that the crew wasnt supposed to disassemble anything -- and then said due to that, it would cost me $150 for them to return to fix it. Needless to say, I said no thanks, will work with my building staff to fix it, and suffice to say will NEVER use Rabbit Movers or recommend them ever again.In response to Anthonys comment below, had the crew brought the correctly sized vehicle today, just like in times past when we used them for moving services, our bed frame would never have needed to be disassembled and Anthonys entire response becomes null & void. Avoid this company like the plague unless you want their CEO to perform revisionist history as per his response below.
I had a terrible experience with Rabbit Movers. I booked my move in May for July. When I booked via phone, I made clear that my elevator bookings for my building were unmoveable, three hour time window. 9-12, 12-3, 3-6. Joelle ensured me that we could do the 12-3 window and that the movers would be there between 12-1pm in order to guarantee I would be within my buildings guidelines.The movers showed up 3 hours late AT 3 pm as my buildings window came to a close. They were nice enough but came ill prepared. Nothing was wrapped well. They rushed the job and my furniture has a ton of knicks.When I called customer service to inform them of my experience, Joelle was flat out rude saying he never told me they would be there around 12/1 pm. I do not appreciate the way he yelled and screamed at me. I PAID for this service and it was not worth the money to have late movers, knicked up furniture and unkind customer service.I wouldnt have been able to be hours late or push my move same day, why is it ok for the company to?
We just had a great move with Mohammed and Jeremy. They arrived at the start of the pickup window, and completed our move under 2 hours. Fast, efficient, kind. Very gentle and careful with our belongings. The company is cost efficient and gave us a flat rate, no extra charges.
Had a great experience with Rabbit Movers!! I had to move out of a storage unit and my movers Zlatibor and Vladimir, made it so easy. They were very fast and efficient. We had great communication and they were very nice people. Because of their quality service I would hire with Rabbit movers again. Good pricing too.
Update: THEY ARE LYING IN THEIR RESPONSE! I did not pack my piano and I never threatened them about making a post. I only asked them to process my claim and see what they could do. This company has NO INTEGRITY!1. HANDLED MY STUFF ROUGHLYOne of the movers put my digital piano upside down on top of another item. Keys were pressed heavily and the mechanics were shaken terribly throughout the move, which caused fatal mechanical damage (audio broken).The mover did not wrap my delicate stuff (computer, thin glass from my coffee table, etc.) securely; he just put them loosely in a box on a blanket, which worried me to death.2. THEY DO NOT COVER MECHANICAL DAMAGEThey caused fatal mechanical damage to my digital piano, but because there is no physical damage, they dismissed my claim. Even after I pointed out that the mover mishandled my piano, they did not attend to the issue at all.3. GREEDY FOR TIPSI gave the movers 22% of the total as tip, which I thought was pretty generous; the mover looked at the tip and said, “That’s it? I thought you could do better.”4. ROUGH COMMUNICATIONI tried to tell the mover to handle my stuff with care during the move, asking him to wrap my piano, computer and glass, and be cautious with the stuff on top of other items, but the mover gave me an attitude and repeatedly said, “You think I don’t know that? I am professional.”I also tried to tell them that the movers mishandled my stuff and caused damage to my digital piano, and my former neighbors can testify that my piano was in good condition before the move, they said that the decision was already determined and because there’s no physical damage, the claim was already dismissed. They just ignored my complaint about the mishandling.I WILL NOT USE RABBIT AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.
Fast, easy booking and the move went flawlessly. Movers were very careful and thorough. It is the management and operations team that is not professional.Bins have not been picked up for two weeks!! I live in a small Brooklyn apartment and the stack of bins were obstructing my only exit. 1st weekend I called to check the status of pick up only to find out that they moved the time without notifying me—no email, no call, no voicemail. They rescheduled to the next weekend at MY expense. Not even a discount granted. Today the bins were supposed to be picked up. I called before the window of time to make sure they were coming and had the right time. The window of time passes, I call to let them know I cannot stay home any longer today to see if they would ever arrive and cannot reschedule again. I told them I would leave the bins outside. The management called back without even a small apology for the inconvenience of two weekends of waiting around (including a holiday weekend). They are now charging me the rescheduling fee for when they moved the original time without providing notice and for leaving the bins outside.It’s a shame that the customer service was so terrible because the booking and move was really great. I’ve moved 5 times in 9 years and this was the easiest move I’ve ever had. Would not recommend and would not book again.
They are not worth it, they definitely do damage. Broke items and broke parts of the building, the wall was damaged and more. They are also super rude and bad at customer service. We ended up with less things and they originally said they would adjust accordingly. I asked how normally charge for their boxes and was given a very rude response instead of just answering and that was it. I dont recommend them. They are definitely others and better.
Absolute joke. Called, got a quote for my date, took down all my info and was told Id have a quote in my inbox the next day. Called the next day, was told no file was made and asked me 6x if I was calling the correct company. Now telling me the date is full and cannot do it. Great way for a business to lose money.EDIT: Look at the business response to this if you need any confirmation about what its like to work with them.
This company was simply amazing! During an unfortunate time where COVID-19 was affecting everyone with traveling I was lucky to find Rabbit Movers. I had to move my stuff from NY back down to my home state in Maryland. Me and my family were worried at first because we normally do the moving ourselves but Rabbit Movers came through with ease. They were affordable, the customer service was excellent, and the timing was perfect. Nothing but the highest recommendation for this company.
Ive used Rabbit Moving twice now, for local moves within Manhattan, and both times they were fantastic at every stage in the process. They were responsive to my initial phone and email outreach, they answered questions via email quickly, provided clear information, and made payment very easy. They provided COIs very swiftly as well, which can also be a pain. On moving day, their staff were professional, punctual, and took a great deal of care with my belongings. I cant imagine moving with anybody else!

I was getting frustrated with the prices and customer service from several moving companies for our out of state relocation. I decided to search the BBB website and found a local mover named Rabbit. From my very first contact with Rabbit (I dealt with Johnny) to the completion of my move to Florida I am totally impressed, satisfied and happy. The moving guys and delivery guys were great and most importantly, the price was right. My entire inventory has been delivered within 5 days after leaving NYC with no damage. I will definitely refer these guys and give them five plus stars, thumbs up and wish them all much success!!! Keep up the good work Rabbit!!!
Using Rabbit Moving was great! Best part about my whole moving experience. Came right on time, I had a few extra items not on the original manifest and they were able to add it to the list right then and there with no issues. They loaded everything quickly and efficiently, got everything moved in to the new place quickly too. Nothing was damaged either. Thank you!

Recently relocated from Brooklyn and with the help of Steve and Jonathan my move was smooth, quick and efficient. I was stressed with having to move into a new place with a newborn baby but Steve and Jonathan made the transition an easy one. They arrived on time and got the ball rolling ASAP. They were very knowledgeable with how to handle my furniture and how to keep it safe from getting damaged. They were friendly, professional and personable. I am honestly still amazed how great of a job they did. Steve and Jonathan helped us with a move between boroughs and the experience could not have been better. Rabbit quoted us a better price than any other company, and we didnt sacrifice anything by going with the best quote. From start to finish, Rabbit was responsive and clear in all communication, and Steve and Jonathan tackled the job with professionalism, good cheer, and incredible grace (even when presented with challenges like a king-sized IKEA bed needing disassembly!). I used Rabbit moving to move from a 1br to 2br... NYC to New Jersey. I was able to finalize my booking the week of my move with no issues. The team was very responsive with my initial inquiries and any follow up questions I had before finalizing my reservation. Moving day was smooth! They send two movers and a rabbit moving branded truck. They arrived on time. They were efficient and strategic. They were gentle with our personal items. I was relieved that I had such a positive experience because I know the reviews here are inconsistent.
We hired Steve and Jonathan to help move from CT to NYC. It was a fairly large move and they were able to handle it with no issue at all. They arrived right when they said they would and were able to load the truck in less than 30 minutes. Steve and Jonathan were very professional, kind, and great to work with. They went above and beyond with everything they did from helping package and wrap larger items to something as small as putting the legs back onto a TV. They even help assemble some furniture and that was truly a life saver. I would recommend them to anyone looking to move either long distance or a shorter distance. We have used Rabbit Movers for multiple moves to this point and wouldnt consider working with anyone else. Brann was also great to work with for the scheduling. He made sure that Steve and Jonathan were fully prepared for the move. I have nothing but great things to say about Rabbit Moving & Storage.

I would recommend Rabbit Moving & Storage if you are considering a future move. I needed a quick move and Q & Mohammed were able to completely move 5 rooms of furniture in about 2 1/2 hours. They were careful and paid attention to details and were respectful of my property so the whole move went off without a hitch.

My experience with Rabbit movers unfortunately was not very good. I called to get a quote and mentioned that my stuff was in storage so I did not have a specific list but it was a small one bedroom. The rep asked me a few questions about the items in the unit to estimate the size and sent me a quote. Many of the items I had mentioned on the phone for the quote were not included on the list, which I should have checked more thoroughly. I erroneously assumed that there was some flexibility in getting this done. On the day of the move, they brought not a truck but a small van and I was asked to pay an additional $150 on top of the $500 I had already paid them.This was an easy move, everything was packed and wrapped as the items were in storage and it took less than 30 minutes for the movers to load the stuff on the truck, 15 minutes to drive to the destination and another 30 minutes to unload in the apartment. The movers themselves were professional but management showed no actual concern about helping me to move unless they extracted as much money as possible from me. There was space for the rest of my stuff in the small van and I offered to load things so we could finish quickly, which they repeatedly rejected unless I paid them additional money, which I refused to do.For my type move, there was little added value to the service and I would have been better off renting a van myself and getting a couple of friends to help me with my already packed and wrapped items. I dont know what their typical services include but I would not use them again nor recommend them as they showed little flexibility or concern for getting my move completed. It would not have cost them anything in terms of resources or additional effort to transport a couple of boxes and suitcases, including some items which I had told them about that they did not add to the quote and that I offered to load and unload myself.
Rabbit movers is great! Their pricing is amazing for the area. Bruce gave me my quote and was super friendly and always quick to respond with a helpful answer. We have used Rabbit Movers for all our moves in Brooklyn and weve been so happy with them. Scheduling the move and working out kinks with the office staff is so easy - theyre very friendly and responsive. Our stuff is treated with care and the movers have all been really nice. Kenneth has been our foreman twice and I totally feel like were in good hands, he is so calm and easygoing. We hopefully wont have to move again anytime soon but if we do, DEF going with Rabbit again.

Ive used Rabbit twice for moves in Brooklyn and both times the team thats showed up to move have been professional, easy to work with, efficient, and careful. Dont know what else one would want in a move, but this company is also an artist-owned collective, which is particularly awesome to support during the pandemic. And their prices are still comparable / lower than other options! Booking was smooth -- used their online tool to select things that need moving to get a quote, as well as several easy calls I made to update the list as the moving list got clearer. I appreciated that only the deposit was required to book, and the finally price was adjusted as I provided additional information up until the day before the move. Can highly recommend.
Ive moved with Rabbit Movers 3 times and every time its been easy and painless. Their rates are the cheapest Ive found, customer service people are nice, and the movers have done a great job. My most recent move the guys took apart my bed and put it back together for me. They were also nice dudes. Would def recommend to anyone moving in Brooklyn/Queens.
I booked Rabbit Movers 3/30/2022I made the P.O.C. Nemo aware of my move, as to we lived at this location for a long time and acquired quite a few things, I received a quote, the day of the move, I made NEMO my P.O.C aware that there had been on going construction. my P.O.C. mover was named David very nice, I gave him a tour of the move path from the parking lot to the residence he agreed and said its fine, the only thing that was mishandled on my part was an item or two that was not mentioned on the inventory list which I was charged for fine with, the move took quite some time because they were short staffed with only three movers.Once the move was completed I signed off on the release form confirming everything was delivered, that was until I notice my $900usd knoll chair was missing, I promptly contacted the P.O.C Mover David, Who in fact membered the chair, as he was the one who moved the chair, And couldnt understand why it was delivered, David and i both came to the realization that it had to have taken while they were loading the truck David was very honest.I Contact R.M and was told about their Damaged/Missing items report process, I went though there process, to be told today, Ive attached a S.C of what was told to me, as a business owner I understand the trails and tribulations of running a business especially a new business, but when an issue happens and its your freelancer or employees negligence you as a company must find all ways to resolve and cure the issue.The owner has replied to my post, with a blatant lie that they attempted to explain something to me, I have attached out conversation VIA G mail, where did the try , or attempt to explain anything in those screen shots??IN MY OPINION THERS OTHER PROFESSIONAL COMPANIES SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACH AND BAD EXPEINCES AND AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, AFTER PAYING $4K+ For my move to have an item missing and to be offered $100 dollars for my loss is grossly unacceptable.
1st time using a moving company & they were amazing!! I scheduled with Nate, who was very patient & helpful. My movers were Rez & Shakes. They were there exactly on time, professional, polite & courteous. All my machines were handled carefully. Delivery was just as easy. They took care of everything & placed each machine just where I wanted! They were great to talk to throughout. Not one complaint here!! I will definitely use & recommend Rabbit Moving!
I loved these guys — they confirmed with me the day before and the day of they arrived a few minutes early, looked to see what they needed to pack up (everything in our one bedroom apartment), went to get the packing materials and then super efficiently packed everything up. They were incredibly respectful to us and were careful with our things. They got everything packed and in the truck within 2 hours and then arrived to the place we were moving a minute before us. They moved everything in and set up what we needed set up in 1 hour. The guys were so nice and I would 100% hire them again.Also I got quotes from 5 moving companies with great reviews. I loved working with Nate and sent him a video of our apartment for him to give me the estimate (no change in cost from the estimate). Great price and great experience.
Rabbit was the most affordable option of all the quotes we got for a 1-bedroom so we went with them. They arrived promptly at 9 AM which was great because we had a dead stop at 4 PM. They sent a large truck for or stuff. We were impressed by the speed they loaded and unloaded the truck. George and his helper were courteous and were careful when handling our boxes and furniture. Nothing was broken during transit, although we did pack our stuff pretty well.One thing I would like is more communications on the day before the move. We were told we would see the number of movers on their website before the move. We couldnt find that information so we had no idea how many movers were coming and whether we could finish on time.Overall, the day of the move was stress free. Thanks rabbit movers!
This is the second time Ive used Rabbit for a move and both times I had a very positive experience. This time in particular, the 3 guys on the crew were on time (a little early even) and very kind. They got straight to business and were easy going the whole time. They moved quickly and were done in no time. They then drove to my storage unit and quickly packed everything into the space very efficiently. Again very friendly, no-nonsense, professional, fast. I will use them again for sure!
This is my second time using Rabbit Moving & Storage and I highly recommend them. This time, we moved from a fourth floor walk up in Brooklyn Heights to a third floor walk up in Park Slope (both with no elevator) and had more boxes to move than initially estimated. Our two movers arrived ahead of schedule and were incredibly personable and professional. The total move lasted about 5 hours which is more than I think they had planned for. However, they never complained throughout the day and they did not charge us more at the end which we really appreciated. They had everything they needed to ensure our items were moved with care (blankets, tape, extra bubble wrap, etc.) and helped both break down and put furniture back together (like our bed). Moving can be a very stressful process but with Rabbit Moving & Storage you are guaranteed a positive experience with a very high quality of service.
We were extremely happy with our move thanks to Rabbit Movers. The whole experience was great. From the set up with their office staff, to the online preparation, to the move itself. Everything was streamlined, pleasant and professional. Their rates are reasonable and expected for a NYC move that included a couple flights of stairs. We never heard we cant, dont, or wont do that especially from the two great guys who did the actual move (and in our case that included some larger pieces being moved up a narrow brownstone staircase). I would use Rabbit Moving & Storage again and highly recommend them to anyone else.
Steve & Jonathan were incredible! They went above and beyond to provide excellent service. They were super polite, helped me move a heavy package that got delivered to my new place during the moving process plus a couple of other miscellaneous items I didnt have enough time to pack up neatly -- They were seriously life-savers. In NYC, it seems impossible to have a seamless moving process, but Steve & Jonathan really delivered!!! 1000000 out of 10, would recommend.
We used Rabbit Moving to move locally from Manhattan to Queens. We had 30 medium boxes, 30 large boxes, 12 large suitcases, a Peloton bike, a Peloton treadmill, three bookcases, 5 TVs, and the list goes on. David and his team arrived early on moving day and were efficient throughout the process. They moved everything without damaging walls, floors, etc at either location. They were extremely professional and had a great attitude throughout the day despite the volume of stuff to move. My husband and I were incredibly impressed with how they handled everything from start to finish. Ask for David if hes available.
Overall a great experience. The moving team was very professional and had things moved out/moved in and loaded/unloaded very quickly. Great group of guys. No issues at all. Better rates than several NYC moving companies I got quotes from.Very satisfied with the experience. This is the second time Ive used them to move and will definitely be using them again if I need to make another move.
My recent move with Rabbit Movers was excellent, Jason and Shura really took the time to pack and protect all of my large items that needed to be handled with care. They clearly knew what they were doing and have a lot of experience. They were personable and nice to talk to as well. When we got to the new place, they made good suggestions (which I wanted to hear) on where I place certain items as they were unpacking them, so I got the setup in the new place off to a head start, which was greatly appreciated! They also handled parking well on a day when the streets were quite busy. Excellent experience overall.
Rabbit Movers was amazing. Three hardworking team members showed up on time and quickly moved me out of my Brooklyn apartment to New Jersey. I had a few more items to move than were originally quoted and they graciously handled them efficiently. They had a great system. Super kind. Crazy strong. Highly recommend.
(1) They give a window that they will show up in. If you have to reserve and elevator this makes is really hard to reserve a concrete time for the elevator. In my case the guys showed up 2.5 hours into the 3 hour window, and they only started contacting me 30 mins before they arrived even though the customer service person told me the dispatcher and/or drivers would reach out to me within a couple of minutes.(2) My movers disappeared for a little more than an hour after we loaded up their truck. I took a cab over and didnt hear from them for an hour before they showed up. I just ended up waiting at my new place for an hour without any heads up.(3) The movers said that my stuff was a little more than they expected and asked for a little extra in cash for the move on addition to the tip. This is very sketchy. If its extra they should go through the office and send me another invoice.(4) The movers lost some of my stuff. I literally saw them load it on the sprinter van and the customer service rep emailed me saying it probably wasnt moved because it wasnt on the moving inventory.VERY SKETCHY COMPANY AND IM VERY UNHAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE WOULD NOT RECOMMENDIn response to the comment from the owner that said I didnt tip and didnt accept a $50 credit through email-- I have no idea what camera they were referring to. I also gave the movers an extra $60 per their request and $80 tip in cash. I was also never offered $50 and triple checked my email conversation to make sure.If youre reading this I hope you can get a sense of their ethics and how you will be treated as a customer.
I would definitely use these guys again! The movers came out on-time and ready to work. Even with our difficult to maneuver apartment they got everything out without anything breaking. They finished the load in a reasonable amount of time given the layout and knocked out the unload extremely quickly! They even had a couple of spare boxes onboard that we were able to use for a few odds and ends that hadnt managed to make it into any of the boxes we already had. The price was fair and transparent!
Zlatibor & Vladimir were my movers this week, and were punctual, professional, and efficient. They moved all of my furniture and boxes into my new apartment within 2 hours. Nothing was damaged, and they treated all of my belongings with care. Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the Brooklyn area looking for movers.
I never thought I’d be raving about a moving company, but Rabbit Movers exceeded every possible expectation I had. Nobody likes moving, and frankly most moving companies often frustrate the process. But from start to finish my experience with Rabbit Movers was superb. I booked my move with Nate, who was so professional. He was upfront about every potential charge, taking time to explain how they inventory and price items (more about that later). On the day of the move, Rashid and Odell showed up right at the very beginning of the window I had been given. I seriously couldn’t believe how friendly and enthusiastic they were. Again, Rashid walked me through the process for the day and I really appreciated how transparent everyone at this company is. They then got to work and, despite tackling dreaded walkups, never wavered in their professionalism and friendliness.I’ve never worked with a moving company that priced per size of item (eg, cubic feet), rather than hourly or a fixed price per job, but have to say I really liked this business model. I think it’s human nature that, when moves are priced hourly, we can get impatient with the speed of the movers. But here, I was totally fine with them taking the requisite time to protect and move my items. And it paid off because everything was moved in perfect condition.I cannot recommend Rabbit Movers highly enough and won’t hesitate to book with them for my next move!
Odell and Rashid did a great job moving myself and my wife in NYC. When an item was damaged because of unusually high winds on our move day, Odell informed me immediately; I really appreciate his honesty. They were quick, efficient and friendly. I highly recommend them and rabbit movers; we will be using them again for the second part of our move.
BEWARE!!! I chose Rabbit for my move out of my apartment last week because I had used them to move into it and had liked my experience. This time, they were unbelievably rude and unprofessional-- both the movers and office personnel-- and demanded an extra $300 dollars on the day of the move for a long-haul fee, even though my apartment is right by the elevator, the elevator is less than 150ft from the service exit, and they were able to park right outside the building. This was not something I was charged when I moved in, and the distances did not meet the requirements in our contract for this huge charge at all.When the movers first arrived, they parked outside my buildings main entrance, unaware that there was a service entrance that they had to use. They became upset when I told them about the service entrance and that theyd want to find parking closer to it, and even more upset when they saw that the service basement has a couple extra turns compared to the main lobby. The movers then told me that if I did not ask the superintendent to use the main entrance instead of the service one, they would request a long-haul fee. I would not do that because it is against our building policy and I did not want to inconvenience my neighbors. Plus, they somehow managed to damage the door to the main entrance when they arrived.When the companys agent, Danny, then called to tell me that this long-haul fee would be a whopping $300, he was so incredibly rude and would not even tell me how the fee was calculated. I have laser rangefinders and tape measurers and was hoping I could prove the distances met the contract guidelines (I was also a professional golfer and am weirdly good at estimating distances), but he refused to have any conversation with me and instead kept saying that he would order the movers to leave unless I paid the $300 immediately.Cancelling the move is exactly what I wanted to do. Unfortunately, that was the only window of time I had allowed for the move, and I could not imagine how I could get other movers on short notice at the end of the month. I also figured that if I didnt pay the extra fee, I would be forfeiting money I had already paid the company.While I was still deciding what to do, though, the movers suggested that if I tipped them $150, they would tell Danny that the fee wasnt necessary. That pushed me over the edge and into tears, so I paid the company and had to have my partner take over the move for me.To top it all off, the company texted me the day after the move to provide a review of their service to them, with the message that customer service is their top priority. Encouraged, I addressed all of my concerns as described above in an email. I received absolutely no response. I cant imagine the overall service being much worse.
The team from Rabbit arrived right on time, at the beginning of the two hour window and moved us SO quickly yet carefully. They were extremely diligent yet fun to be around all day! It was like moving with your three most responsible friends! For being our first move in NYC, with four floor walk ups both way, we had an extremely stressless, seamless and easy move - unlike most in the city! Thank you to Hodari and his team!

Ive used Rabbit on two occassions now for local moves in Brooklyn. Both moves were very pleasant and Rabbit took a lot of stress out of the equation. Their office is very responsive and communicative, and Billy was able to update my inventory list on the fly, as some things had changed.The moving crew was excellent. They were very friendly, professional, and prompt. They also worked EXTREMELY quickly while still treating all of my items with care and respect.I will definitely use Rabbit again if I need to move a third time, which, lets face it, will happen because sometimes it do be like that in NYC.
This was my fifth and best time using Rabbit Movers! They always do a great job, but this time they really went above and beyond. I have a lot of specialized equipment and supplies. Q and Rhenette were friendly, very hardworking, and took extra care to make sure that everything arrived safely. Used them for my move 14 years ago. Used them again for my current move to a new home. Exceptional value for the dollar- great movers. Only regret is that I should have paid them to help me pack. Over the years have recommended them to friends and all have loved their move with Rabbit- and no one loves to move. They take away some of the stress in moving.
Rabbit is insanely fast! We packed and moved my entire apartment in under 3 hours, door to door. The movers were super nice and efficient.I also really liked the quoting process. Every other company sent you a 7-page questionnaire. Rabbit was just an inventory of the space and then a call to review the invoice. I recommend them!
Moving is filled with anxiety, moving in the city is a whole other level.I was referred to Rabbit Moving by a friend who had previously used them, I am so glad I did! The booking process was a breeze and also in comparison inexpensive. Three movers arrived on the day of my move, the foreman went through my apartment in detail and got everything in order to begin the moving process. They wrapped my furniture and were careful with my belongings, after a couple of hours everything was loaded and ready to reach my new home. At my new place the unload was rather quick and painless, all items arrived safely and they placed everything where asked. As a plus they were super respectful!Will definitely use them again and highly recommend their services.
I’ve used Rabbit Movers for each of my moves in NYC; one from Hell’s Kitchen to FiDi and the second from FiDi out to BK. Each time their pricing was the best, their contacts re. Booking are super friendly, responsive, and helpful, and the movers were professional and efficient. My move out/ins took less than an hour and they even disassembled and put back together my heavy bag for me for no extra charge. Will always use them (although I hope not to be moving again in the near future) for my moves.

I had a move from Manhattan to Brooklyn which needed three stops before the destinations. The two movers showed up right on time and were very friendly and FAST. They wrapped things in blankets without me asking them to and were very careful with all of my belongings.This was my second time using Rabbit Movers. While they may not be the cheapest moving company out there, they really ease the stress of moving more than any other service Ive used, which in NYC, is worth every penny. I highly suggest and would use again!

Awful moving service, be warned that if you have anything decent or valuable to move – do not use Rabbit Movers. Play extra and get professional help. These guys were 2 hours late, did a sloppy job packing, scratched up my leather couch, dented lamp shades, and broke a big mirror. Then ran out without removing tape or making sure their garbage/boxes were cleared. Be warned!!!
The Rabbit Movers team moved me out of my apartment quickly and efficiently with great attention to detail. Im so happy I hired them. In the middle of COVID, moving could have been a hassle. But these guys were nothing short of excellent!Bunny was the person who handled my move and she was awesome! Jolil and his team were punctual, efficient, and cheerful. They made my moving day a breeze, it barely felt like a moving day at all! They finished the whole thing (1-bed apt) in 3 hours, even with no elevator in the second building. The price is competitive. Billy reached out to me right away to organize the move as soon as I put in an online inquiry. They were very responsive and kept an open communication with me. The movers Q and his team was very professional and very nice. They were very efficient - they came in to take a survey of all the goods we packed and started loading goods to the truck and completed packing and wrapping of the furniture very swiftly but with care. Someone had also called me the day after the move just to check in and see everything went well. Great customer service.
I moved to the other side of NY state. They did all paperwork with my building in time. They were very responsive in calls and emails.I love the website, which is great for quotes.Movers came on time, were professional and careful.Of course I underestimate the volume of my stuff during quote, so the final price was reasonable adjusted.This move left me with positive emotions which is hard to expect from such thing as moving.
I used Rabbit Moving after one of my friend told me about them. They were very easy and accommodating in giving me an estimate for my move and the day of, the movers were very organized, friendly and super fast. Moving is a very stressful time and Rabbit Moving helped tremendously with their professionalism.

I wish there was a way to comment on other reviews. The reviews by Erika and james right here are so accurate and describe the behavior of Anthony and the rest of his crew. All super aggressive with arbitrary compensation two damages they caused. This is really a chop shop. Beware of this moving company. They really don’t care and looking to transact and move on.
I moved out of my Chelsea apartment on February 13, 2020. What could have been an extremely stressful and sad day ended up being a nice memory. My movers were Kev and Steven who were so incredibly professional, upbeat, efficient, respectful of all my furniture, boxes, artwork, gigantic mirror, etc. They could not have packed all my items any better or safer for the 10-hour drive ahead of us. Not only were they good at their job, they were incredibly kind and optimistic they could get the job done. Kev repeatedly said, “You’re only as good as your last job.” Great words to live by! My family had also made the trip to help assist with the move and at the end of the day Kev offered to take a photo of all of us. That photo captures the end of a decade in New York for me and returning home to Cincinnati. This was the second time I’ve hired Rabbit Movers and they are consistently wonderful. I give my highest recommendation to hire Rabbit Movers for your next move.
I hired Rabbit Movers to move all of the contents of my old art studio to a new location. There were many complications regarding this move: there was a very limited time frame in which we could gain access to my old studio; the building was in disarray because of a stalled construction project; and I had recently hurt my back which gave added anxiety. But the team who made the move for me were very professional, careful, and efficient. Their expertise in loading a truck with twenty-one years worth of paintings, drawings, and assorted furniture and supplies was a delight to watch. A job which I feared could take the better part of a day was accomplished in only a few hours. I highly recommend Rabbit Movers to artists and anyone requiring truly expert moving help.
Rabbit were great. Extremely responsive throughout my planning a complicated move where both my move-out and move-in dates kept changing, stored my stuff in between moves, delivered a COI for my move-in with 48 hours notice, and the movers themselves were fast, professional and easy to work with. Overall excellent moving experience, highly recommend.
UPDATE: I was contacted shortly after writing this review. Rabbit Movers refunded the tip and sent someone out to fix my chest of drawers. Joel was a gentlemen and a professional and fixed up my furniture like it was brand new. I was surprised when I was contacted by the company and how quickly they made things right. Updating their rating from 2 to 4 stars. If something does happen Rabbit Movers will do all in their power to make it right.Im only giving two stars because the guys were personable. Honestly youre not supposed to be telling us how much we tip you. Its not added on just because you exist. A tip is something based off the service.They broke my dresser, bed frame and shelf. They also scuffed the floors and walls of both my old and new apartment. Also managed to get blood on my walls. I still gave a decent tip but Ill never use these guys again.

I just used Rabbit Movers for my third move in NYC and was reminded of why I always move with them. The office staff always answers on the first ring or within minutes of emailing and are polite, reasonable, and human. My movers (Q and Josh) were consummate professionals - they worked efficiently and took great care of my belongings.Rabbit Movers makes moving in NYC way easier than it should be.
We used Rabbit twice. The first experience was solid so we booked again. The team they sent the second time had no idea what they were doing. They put all the small stuff in the truck first, which my superintendent commented on as a big problem and likely to cause damage. They took twice as long as expected, broke things, gouged my floor up, and offered a fraction of the cost of the damage they caused. Do not use Rabbit.
Horrible experience: I relocated with my daughter to another town for peace these peopled messed with my PTSD tremendously.In the beginning when they want your business they keep it professional and are attentive to your needs. Once you have paid your quote they become very nasty people. When I first spoke with the customer service agent named Bunny, I was never noted that my belongings would indeed take 10 business days to be delivered to our new home. The representative made it seem that I would get them as soon as possible. When I first called to know why was I told I would get my things as soon as possible they transferred me around until I reached the manager Anthony, who by the way spoke to me very rudely and made sarcastic comments. I asked him why was I told I would get my things asap, then he goes on to tell me “you want your things as soon as possible no problem is going to cost you more to be expedited” I said no problem if I knew that was an option I would of done that to begin with. He rudely hung up the phone on me I call back now he tells me I can not have my shipment expedited because it is against the law. So why even mention it to me? To be sarcastic and throw it in my face that it was more money!! Anyways the company certain me I am going to be up next in the shipment and that they would let the long distance team know. I was also told I would get an email with my estimated arrival time. I did not receive this email until about 5 days later a day before my shipment was arriving. Also when I called back in regards as to why I have not received an ETA confirmation they were nasty to me again, no one wanted to give me the information until someone got on the phone and told me you would get your email 2-5 business days before the arrival, this is something else that was not mentioned to me prior. Lets talk about the movers who before they even got the job done called me while I was at work, and they just had arrived at the pick up location to tell me that they was not aware, I was not going to be at the location and asked me to cash app the tip. Which I did because I am a tipper to those who actually earned the tip due work ethic and professionalism. Not insisting on a tip to be cash app, instead of it being earned with great customer service. Let alone these people stoled from me a Sealy pillow, my von dutch hat that was packaged in one of my plastic containers at the top, a full blown bed bath & beyond quilt disappeared as well due to their movers. My multi picture frame the glass was damaged. The legs on my sofa are now wobbly, uneven and loose even as much as I try to tighten it. 2 huge canvas art was badly ruined I mean the white part have black residue and the wood sticks on the back are completely broken. I spent about $875 combined on those paintings. What hurt me the most is my $2,000 bed that from both sides on the bottom headboard of the bed these people made the entire Gold frame come off the wood that keeps the entire bed together.Horrible Horrible experience !
Luka and his team were quick and highly professional. This is the best moving company I have used. They went above and beyond moving things I forgot about and hadn’t boxed. They put all the boxes in the right room. They perfectly moved my plants. I couldn’t be happier with the service.

They arrive promptly (or let you know if they are running late) and they ask a lot of questions in order to make sure that valuables are correctly wrapped and that things stay organized. Moving day can be so hard and exhausting for everyone- it is hard to find a moving company you can trust. We used them to move a two bedroom apartment into storage and then once we found a house to buy and went through the process, we used them again to move us into our house which was a big move. Having kids adds additional stress, so it really matters Rabbit Movers were attentive, polite and timely. I highly recommend them- we will use them again. They also are priced less than some of the the bigger companies I called for an estimate. They even do wrapping.
DO NOT USE. THEY WILL BREAK AND TAKE YOUR THINGS. They broke all the shelves off my west elm bookcase somehow only driving a couple of miles. One of two that matches. Worth 350 each before tax shipping and assembly. They offered $60. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE.UPDATE: the owner claims that by law he can only pay $60 but he first offered $125. Then I said I was writing a review and he dropped it to 60. So... Dont think he really cares about following the law.I asked for the broken shelf back which I could fix for less than buying a new one and he told me “file a police report. Bye”
I moved in February 2020 and was only moving two floors up from my current place. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. I submitted a request for a quote online and Nathan called me less than five minutes later. He was very helpful and responsive booking the move. I also have to give a shout out to Bonnie, who put up with me when I needed a Certificate of Insurance at the last second (hadnt realized I needed one initially, oops) and was very helpful when I was freaking out and not being the easiest customer.My movers were Benny and Alex and they were great. They waited when I was running late and assembled and disassembled my giant wardrobe (IKEA Pax wardrobe for those familiar) without issue. They were polite and struck the magic balance of working quickly without sacrificing quality. I was moving two floors and they even helped carry up some odds and ends. Id rebook in a heartbeat. Thanks for everything guys!
If you need movers, look no further. Rabbit is such an amazing company both in what they offer and what they represent. What they offer is spectacular moving, packing, and storage services provided by very capable, honest, and kind human beings. What they represent is the coolest business model Ive ever heard of - run by artists for artists, Rabbit supports the NYC artist/musician so they can afford to pursue their dreams and also gives those artists a truly dynamic community in which to thrive. I have moved five times with Rabbit, and would never use anyone else. Everyone who is a part of this company is remarkable.
Rabbit movers are the best! I was really happy with their service. We all know what a hustle is to move in nyc and they made the whole process super easy from getting an estimate to the moving day. It all went smoothly and I like the fact they hire artists as movers. Check out their art projects too! Highly recommend them.
Rabbit Movers were efficient, professional and very friendly. I live in NY for 20 years and moved many times hiring different movers. RM are by far my best experience as my home is also my studio and I have machinery and tools. I hope to not have to move again soon:) BUT I definitely will call them again. Thank you!!
This is a lengthy review in order to give an accurate picture of just how terrible my experience with this company was.I chose Rabbit Moving after reading about the company and noticing some good reviews. I liked what they stood for and after speaking with Nate felt encouraged that I was in good hands.......boy was I wrong!I was moving my apartment contents to storage in anticipation of a second move in a few weeks. I received an estimate, but was told that it could change when the crew chief evaluated the move on arrival. The day began with the moving team showing up with a truck that was not large enough to carry the contents of the apartment because there was more stuff than they were prepared for (poor planning). The crew seemed nice enough and assured my wife that it was no problem and that they could go back and get a larger truck or make 2 trips. I immediately called the main office to appraise them of this situation and to find out if there would be any additional fees. I was told in no uncertain terms that if the crew chief did not mention any additional fees, then there would be none. While not ideal, they were confident that they could get the move done and were nice enough about it so I allowed the move to proceed. After taking much longer than expected (all day) they finally got the move done. I accompanied them to the storage facility to make sure everything was secured and tipped the team for their work. This is when things really went south. Just before the crew chief got in to the truck to drive away he told me that there would be a charge for moving blankets (which was as expected), and an additional charge for the extra mileage and boxes, something they neglected to mention at the beginning of the move, and that I would get an update from the office the next day to find out what that would be. 4 days go by and I hear nothing from Rabbit Movers. Then I check my credit card and they added an additional charge (which I did not authorize) of nearly $1000 without so much as an email, text or call to inform me that this would be done (not sure if they thought I wouldnt notice, but makes me think that they have probably done this to others as well and gotten away with it). This is of course bad business, but keep reading because the most egregious act is yet to come. I immediately called the company to find out what this was all about and was asked to put it all in an email and it would be escalated to a boss and handled, and that someone would get back to me. I did as they asked and was then informed by a claims manger named Mercedes that they are working on it and that someone would get back to me in 24-48 hours. 3 days later I hear nothing so I followed up with them. This is when I found out that there is a major scam going on at Rabbit Movers. She sent me a copy of a Bill of Lading with additional charges on it that is supposed to be signed at the beginning of the move to show that you agree to the estimate and charges, and again at the end of the move at completion, and stated that I had agreed to the additional charge. On it there are 2 completely different signatures, both of which she said were mine (figure that one out). However, I had never seen this form before and neither of the 2 signatures are mine. Someone at their company forged my signature twice, and had she not sent me this document I would never have even known it. And this is what she presented to me as her proof that I was responsible for the charge. Absolutely unbelievable.So in the end, BEWARE OF RABBIT MOVERS! There are plenty of good moving companies out that will move your stuff, but will be honest and ethical in the process. Why take a chance and have this or something worse happen to you.
I did not have a good experience with this company. They did not account for several of the items that I had put on the estimate list, and the movers said they couldnt move those items without it costing hundreds of dollars more, even though I showed them that it was on the original estimate list I filled out. The mover then tried to extort money from me by saying we could work it out without the company if I would tip him $300!! I am a woman in my 20s and he was extremely condescending and talked down to me as if I was crazy or hysterical for wanting them to move all the items. Luckily my roommates boyfriend has a car and so we just took two trips with the car with the additional items instead of giving in to his exploitive demands. It also took them SO LONG to move everything. Ive moved several times in NYC and this was the worst and slowest BY FAR. The only reason Im giving them 2 stars instead of 1 is because all my stuff did eventually get there in one piece, although my desk was chipped. AVOID!!!!
Scheduled a virtual (Zoom) estimate and they no-showed. I called the company about 15 minutes after the scheduled time and (after being transfered 3 times) was connected to someone who identified himself as the owner. Rather than accept any responsibility (or even apologize) for the no show or the fact that no one bothered to contact me to let me know that the person who scheduled the estimate had called in sick and they needed to reschedule he was extremely rude and unprofessional and consistently talked over me.
Worst moving experience of my life. Avoid this company at all costs. Was told by the general manager to shove my contract up my you know what. Movers broke two family heirlooms and chalked it up to my insurance which by the way doesn’t cover much. Find someone else to move you.
I was looking forward to working with this company as they hire artists as their staff. When I phoned to arrange my moving dates, Mateo was really great and accommodating, which I appreciated as a first-time mover in New York. To move out of my old place, the movers arrived early and worked promptly but, they informed me that the wardrobe box I asked for was taken out of the truck before they left, and I didnt have one to store my clothes and they just threw them in cardboard boxes. I also asked if they could help me bring the furniture I wasnt taking with me down to the dumpster in my building and they did but when I went to take the trash out when they left, they just put it in the hallway, blocking doors and fire exits. I had to call them to come back and take it to the right place. They did but it should have been done right the first time. Fast forward to my move into my new place and one of the movers, before they even open the truck tells me that tips arent included in what I have already paid and showed me the math on his phone as to how much I will owe them in tips. TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE. My apartment is a 4th floor walk-up and they were less than thrilled to bring everything upstairs. I gave them all the cash I had as a tip but I now regret giving them as much as I did, but felt guilty since he showed me the amount I owe them. When I opened boxes after they left, a bunch of stuff was broken or ruined and I didnt get insurance. It seems if you dont have insurance, they will go out of their way to take poor care of your stuff. Not thrilled with them and will use another company when I move again.
I wish I would have read the on line reviews before engaging Rabbit Movers. I had an extremely bad experience. I had an afternoon appointment with a window from noon to seven. The three movers arrived at 6:40. Inconvenient but workable. I was only moving from the third to the second floor. After a half an hour, they called me out of the room I was working in to tell me they were hot and tired and they were leaving! I begged them not to leave. I had just had hand surgery and i’m 61 years old. I couldn’t move myself! Also, I had come back from my sister’s hospital bedside just for this move! They left. I suspect that if I had paid them some extra cash they would have stayed and completed the job, instead, they left and told the dispatcher they left because I had threatened them! I expect they had to make up some story to cover their unprofessional behavior but it is unacceptable to slander me in addition to leaving me completely in the lurch.Rabbit Movers reimbursed my money and RJ sincerely apologized, however, I would never, ever recommend this company. They use subcontractors, not the artists they profess to use. They moved only a few pieces of furniture yet succeeded in gouging my wall! There are much better movers out there.
The best experience EVER!Called around for a few quotes, rabbit responded, spoke with Mateo, got sent the contract, date set, movers (Jason and his guys) came on time, moved all my stuff, cleaned up and left......It was THAT clean and simple.One word of advice to anyone wanting to use Rabbit- read you contract carefully, this way, you will be well prepared when they come.The one hour arrival window, the additional packing fees, the muni-meter parking, the handling of your glass and precious bits is ALL in there!This team arrived and met all the boxes packed and labelled, we even had a few extra boxes and calculated the cost - based on the contract.I would use RABBIT MOVERS again! I would suggest them to anyone.
Movers were on time, friendly, professional and quick. Office staff was contradictory of each other and it took a week and a half after the move of emails and calls back and forth to resolve billing issue. Would still likely recommend on account of the movers themselves.
They arrived on time as promised. They did scratch my walls while moving my furniture into my apartment. The problem came at the end when they charged me almost $200 extra. They said I had more boxes than stated in the email. After loading the truck I asked how much extra for the boxes. One of the guys did the math on his phone showed me the results and said I owed them $60 extra. I said ok no problem. One of the guys wanted me to pay him in cash which was strange. At the end they wanted to know if I had cash app which I told them no. They couldn’t explain what the almost $200 extra was for. All I heard was you have to pay us gratuity. This transfer felt like a shakedown! I am a single female so at the end I sent them the almost $200 to one of their personal bank account using Zelle. This review is my honest experience with this moving company.
Moving is scary. Ill open with that. The amount of money youre paying, on top of the money youre putting at risk with your property, is enough to produce anxiety in almost anyone. Throw on the enormous range of pricing out there as well as the horror stories people write of being scammed and taken advantage of, I dont want to move ever again.That said, this is why Ive decided to take the time and bother writing this review; perhaps it will help alleviate some of the fears others may face when doing their research as I had done.These folks were super helpful. I spoke with them on the phone and talked through my inventory. Their office was conveniently only 15 minutes bike-ride from my apartment so Momoh rolled by and helped confirm the quote. With the big pieces of furniture I had and the estimate of how many boxes Id need to pack up my smaller items, the estimate was super reasonable and almost half the cost of one of the biggest players out there.The move was smooth and painless. The guys showed up and the three of them worked to wrap up my big furniture in moving blankets, they took my boxes, and cleared things out - while one guy helped the loading and organizing of the truck itself. They brought extra boxes to cushion my televisions and monitors, mattress bags and carpet bags as well, and then rolled on out. They had a near three hour drive to get to my new place and then unloaded no problem as well with no complaints. They were super kind, courteous, patient, and efficient. I have no complaints for these guys and their crew. Im super grateful that things worked out without any issues or damage and on a good schedule. It was a busy and hectic day, but they made it as stress free as can be given the amount at stake.I would not only recommend them, but if I need to move again I will be calling them first as well. My move was in the Northeast but if they move other areas Id encourage you to seriously consider them as their pricing is super fair and not based on hourly rates (which is important for long distance moves).
These guys were no good the second time I used them... they decided to not wrap a white couch, put it on the truck as it was, and and it came out blackened, greasy, torn, and ruined, and they would not take any responsibility or be held accountable. They also damaged other things and the floors. I do not recommend Rabbit Movers under any circumstances.
Moving sucks, but the crew that came from Rabbit was excellent. Friendly guys, professional as all get out, knew exactly what they were doing. Everything moved along so quickly and efficiently, I almost couldn’t believe it. They worked like a team and nothing was lost or damaged or anything like that. I honestly can not recommend this company enough. Now, to unpack...
Alex and Manny had 2 pickup locations to get all my furniture. We agreed on a time and they arrived on time. In each location thee were severral large pieces of furniture which had to be navigated in small spaces. They did it with ease and efficiency. The building for the drop off is a coop in Brooklyn with rules regarding move in and property damage, and the board enforces the rules stictly. Alex and Manny had no problem. Rabbit made the move relatively painless. Thanks!!!
Horrible experience! I have moved 9 times in NYC and never had this lack of quality! I would hate for others to have this type of experience, so I’m sharing a very honest review with the hopes that it saves others the trouble from having their furniture damaged.Extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience. HALF of our furniture was damaged.We had a full length mirror and there is a large 3 foot inch crack up the base of mirror. For a mirror, I would have expected them to wrap it in pads + furniture blanket, then put it in a box. Instead they simply put very thin tissue paper (similar to newspaper) around it. There was only one layer of this thin paper. The crack cannot be fixed and we have to purchase a new mirror to replace it.We had a beautiful white dresser and all they did to wrap it was put thin tissue paper and a very thin layer of plastic around it -- for this type of furniture we would have expected them to use pads and furniture blankets.In summary, our furniture was not wrapped well - and the way it was packed was unacceptable. I’m usually the first person to give positive reviews because I want to support small business owners and local companies, but Ive never been more disappointed.The only positive thing about this experience was George who moved our things from the storage unit to our new home. He was apologizing for the way the initial movers handled it. He said they should have used pads. Let me clarify, he was not the person who packed our things originally -- whoever packed everything should have used furniture pads especially on a full length mirror and all our dressers.
Rabbit Movers are the best in lower Manhattan and NYC!. I called Nate on a Tuesday afternoon in a bind needing movers for a small apartment on Pearl Street the next day. Nate hooked me up and I had two bright, polite, efficient movers Wednesday morning at 8:30 AM. My truck was packed carefully and I was ready to roll at 10:30! Reasonable cost. Be sure to tip these guys well - they deserve it!
This is an exceptional moving service. From the start when I spoke with Mateo about my four location move to the actual move with Ryan and Steve, who were patient, accommodating and friendly, I was most impressed. Rabbit Moverss careful and responsible handling of my move consisting of 19th century antiques and furniture, including several mirrors, boxes of papers, household items, armoires, carpets and framed art. I highly recommend them--they go the extra mile in all respects.
The team (Danny Ryan, Ashard, Joe, and Daniel) was incredible! We successfully got from point to point in a short amount of time even with having to share a service elevator during the move. They handled all materials with care and were incredibly courteous, taking all the stress out of moving (which is almost always stressful. Thank you!
Moving with Rabbit was a great experience. In the midst of a big life change and many unknowns, working with them made it all seem like a breeze. Over the course of about ten months Rabbit packed me up and moved me out of two separate apartments (one of which was a 4th floor walkup), moved my things into storage, then took them out of storage and rewrapped them carefully for international shipping, and got them on the container for the shipping company to pick them up. Amazing! I was able to be there for the first two moves and the guys were always careful with my things, funny, and kind. I get really stressed about taking apart my home and packing everything away, but their good energy and fun sense of humor really helped me relax and just get the work done. And the last move from storage to the container they did on their own as I was already out of the country at that point, but they were always attentive in the office when I called to check on the process. Much of my funiture is family heirloom stuff, and I was so impressed that nothing was broken when I finally unloaded it all in my new home. Also, very cool that the company hires artists; I actually got to see a few shows that they put up in a cool space in DUMBO (Rabbithole) a few years back and I liked the work as well as the general vibe of the place. It makes me happy to see their trucks around the city, the whole rabbit thing has a sort of innocent appeal without veering too far into kitsch. Highly recommended!
This was by far my easiest move experience ever for perhaps my most difficult move by far. 90+ degree heat, 4-story walk up, and some obscenely large furniture was all moved with good humor, great care, and insanely fast. All with no damage or any issues. Highly, highly recommend these guys for your next move.
This is the 3rd move on that Rabbit Movers has done for me. In and out (over a few years) of NYC, and then most recently a move would into a 26 ft UHAUL van for a trip from Brooklyn to Boulder, CO for my son and his family.FLEXIBILITY- Plan was to get the 26 ft UHAUL at 7:00 for an 8:00 load out. Unfortunately the UHAUL at Park Slope had a vehicle that was “broken”. After many “xxxx” conversations we had to go to Queens. We did not get off the BQE to meet Rabbit Movers until 10:00.RELIABILITY - All staff were waiting for us and ready to go. The Manager told me that he would not charge additional fees as long as they completed within our 4 hour contract time. I was amazed.They finished on time and I am forever grateful. They are the BEST!
Rabbit Rocks!!! These guys are exceptional! A moving company who not only did an amazing job for a friend of mine (who is extraordinarily picky and difficult about her valuables) but then were willing to give our Non Profit one of their trucks to paste images for an Anti-Violence-Against-Women Campaign and drive it around town?! Oh, and pricing is more than fair.Tell me where else you find that in New York...
Wouldnt use them again. they didnt actually perform the move. it was outsourced to another moving company, which was not communicated to me. left marks on my walls. stained my couch in a few places. didnt ever follow up with me after the move. they didnt actually finish the move either. left items in the old apartment that were meant to be moved.

2021-12-23This is my second time using Rabbit Movers in 2 years. The first time I used them to move the lions share of my property up to Maine from NYC and the second time to do a complex move that involves taking items from one place in Brooklyn and then dropping them off in 3 other places - including another trip up to Maine. They were able to give me a quote within days and had me on the books for my move just a handful of days before the move date. Management was quick to respond to my needs like COI for buildings and get on the phone if I had questions. The quote was not cheap, but not surprising given the lack of elevators, large quantity of items, and the long ride to Maine! You get what you pay for!Our actual movers, Jonathan and Steve, did a wonderful job. They were professional and respected our wishes to keep their masks on (properly!) the whole time. The Did a great job wrapping our delicate items and disassembling furniture. The whole move from pick up in Brooklyn to 2 stops in Brooklyn to Maine took less than 24 hours. So glad this is all taken care of -- plus they didnt even charge us more when we had a few more items than we thought we would have initially!I would definitely use Rabbit Movers a third time.

They safely and carefully moved my things from a three-story walk-up to my new apartment in record time. I also appreciated their care in placing the boxes and furniture in my new apartment. 2022-02-20I recently used Rabbit Moving for my move and it exceed expectations. The entire process was very stress free from start to finish. They quickly responded when I requested a quote, were very helpful in filling out the COI form and were very accommodating to my move schedule.On the day of the move, Steven and Jonathan acted with the utmost professionalism. They handled all of our items with care and moved them with efficiency.I will 100% use Rabbit Moving for my future moves and I would recommend that everyone uses them too.

2022-02-04My husband and I hired rabbit movers for our recent move from Brooklyn to Connecticut. Rabbit Movers was by far the most affordable, professional, and careful out of all the options available. Prior to our move, we updated Bruce several times with our inventory, which he so graciously re-sent quotes when we needed them (Thank you Bruce!). The day of moving was the giant snowstorm and the movers that came were strong and determined. They carefully wrapped our items, and took everything to their truck in under an hour. We really couldnt believe how quick! They unloaded into our new house and placed things back together how we had before the move. They made this move SO easy. 2022-05-29I contacted Rabbit movers for a second option of a quote I had that was way too high, not including packing, and got a response almost immediately with a much more reasonable number, with 2 guys helping me pack. Everything in the lead up to moving day was super easy, and if I needed to make any changes the moving specialist was very quick to answer.Day of, I was nervous because Ive never had movers pack for me, but Jonathan and Steve were super helpful and packed up all my stuff, labeled it well, and packed up all my furniture pretty easily. The drive to my new place took much longer than expected (traffic), but they were ready to move everything in pretty quickly and helped with the layout of where all my furniture should go. Overall they made the day so much easier and they were really nice and approachable whenever I had questions or directions. Thanks so much guys!

2021-12-21I do not normally review businesses on here and tend to keep to myself, but Rabbit Movers is worth mentioning........Between my mother passing away and father being hospitalized, we had less than 30 days to get the move done so we could be home for the holidays.We researched movers and found that the small business and starving artist mentality of Rabbit Movers fit perfectly with our mindset and the decision was made. Joelle had assured us with every question we had that they had our best interests in mind. It did wonders to ease my stress. When Nick and his partner came to our apartment, I was so worried about how last-minute things were and how much of a pain it would be. They assured us time and time again that this is absolutely understandable and that there was no issue. They went out of their way in explaining everything and walking us through the process, then got to work. Quickly, efficiently and with zero damage, everything was packed, transported and set up. These guys were amazing. When we couldnt find wiring, Nick even offered to replace it for us, free of charge. I would never have allowed it, but thankfully our wiring turned up minutes after I spoke with him.While I hope that years and years go by before I ever need movers, I would absolutely use (and recommend) Rabbit Movers again.

Steve and John were our movers; they were efficient, friendly, and provided accurate and on time updates on their arrival and status for our move to Philadelphia. 2022-04-09I hired Rabbit Movers to move me from a two bedroom 3rd floor walk up in Manhattan to a house in Philly. This is my second time using them because they’re so easy to work with and their prices are great. Steven and Jonathan did an awesome job. They’re super nice guys, very careful, and considerate. They didn’t damage any of my possessions or the buildings and that’s really hard to do when you’re moving big furniture, delicate artwork, and expensive electronics out of a small apartment with so many flights of stairs. I was super grateful to work with them because they were just so nice and helpful. I’d highly recommend this company and Steven and Jonathan specifically. The company is very flexible and reasonably priced and they’ve made moving in New York City (and now outside of the city) manageable for me.

2021-12-20I am very happy with my experience - I chose Rabbit Moving and Storage due to the volume of recent good reviews. Steve and Jonathan arrived, we’re very polite, professional and hustled. My Items were wrapped, secured and handled with care. Every time I have moved in the past, it has been a nightmare and very stressful. I found myself impressed with the ease they were able to get awkward and heavy items through doors and around corners. I am very happy with the experience using this company. And to Steve and Jonathan - it was a pleasure and I highly recommend to anybody who is looking to move.

2022-07-14Thanks to Rabbit Moving, I had one of the most efficient and pleasant moving experiences ever. From the very beginning, with their competitive quote and being available for questions before the move started, the entire staff at Rabbit has been nothing but helpful. Then the two actual movers Steve and Dave, were so nice, accommodating and helpful. They answered questions and made suggestions to make everything go more smoothly and efficiently. They listened to instructions when they got to the new location. They put things where I wanted and were constantly checking throughout the move to make sure that I had everything I needed. I would highly recommend them and will be using them for my next move!
