This is my first night here and so far its GREAT. Awesome staff, great location and a nice up scale eatery, The Bailey, two feet from the entrance to the hotel. Is the room smallish, yes it is but who the heck comes to the Financial District of New York and hangs around their hotel room???Very clean, bed is very comfortable and its quiet.
Had a good stay here. The front desk staff were wonderful and very friendly and helpful. The gentleman gave helpful recommendations and directions to walk to the One World Trade Center. The room is smaller than many, but plenty of room to get around the room easily. Everything was clean. I did have a problem with the shower water being cold at 8am, which was frustrating. There are small Keurig coffee machines in each room, and they actually made a good cup of coffee. There was a lobby downstairs with coffee, fruit, and some snacks. An issue was that there were fruit flies in that room. Overall, the staff being great and the room being clean led to a good experience with some room for improvement.
We booked two rooms and requested adjacent rooms. We were thrilled to have two rooms, backed into their own short hall, with the doors inches from each other. The staff has been prompt and polite. Also, there are bottles of chilled water for each floor. Theyre self-filled, so we brought a few of our own bottles to reuse. Excellent location and clean, modern rooms. It feels very safe since the elevator requires a room key. The only negative we found was that the mattresses are a bit hard, the water takes several minutes to heat up, and the TV guide doesnt work. Overall, still 5 stars.
This hotel is in a very convenient location. Walking distance to many attractions/sites (close to Duane Reade grocery stores, 9/11 memorial, Wall Street, Charging Bull, etc.) and most importantly very close to 2 Subway stations: Fulton & Wall Street. They serve free wine at 5pm everyday (we didnt have any as we were never in the hotel at that time) and they have snacks (apples, M&Ms, etc.) throughout the day. The staff are friendly & the WiFi speed is very good. The rooms are clean and are newly renovated which is nice. But I must say a few things about our stay:Unfortunately the acoustic properties of the rooms are VERY POOR. we could clearly, I mean CLEARLY, hear our neighbours and whoever that was walking in the hallway and this was VERY disturbing. Also the gap @ entry door was big enough to allow the corridor light leak in the room and for those that are sensitive to light, this could be very unpleasant. Their towels could use an upgrade for sure! and there are no safe in the room- which I understand a lot of hotels dont offer these anymore but this is an important feature for me.I also would recommend to the front desk personnel to be more attentive when a guest has concerns regarding safety of themselves and others.
Clean Hotel Room. A little dated in appearance but comfortable. Had some issues with the heater but they were resolved. Good value for the money and very good customer service staff. Reserved a suite, bedroom and bathroom space was a bit cramped. Living quarters was a good size.
Excellent location if you want to visit lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. Well deserved by the Metropolitan. Our room was really small but clean which is very important to my standard. The bathroom was small (and rustic) but clean but the door handle broken...not a big deal if you are just popping in and out of your room but I cant give a 4 ⭐ if I keep people looking for something more up-scale in mind - at least for our room. The staff is pleasant, accommodating and helpful. For me a 3.5 ⭐
Nice location, clean and well provisioned rooms (they have a yoga mat inside) at good rates. There was no safe box though.Interestingly, the soap they provide you with is pretty good. The room was pretty silent for most of our stay. However at 9:30 AM on Monday, there was some drilling noise. Fortunately most people are up and out by then- so its not a bad time for construction- however, Id have appreciated a heads-up.
It is an old hotel in the middle of NY financial center. The subway is right at the corner and there is a restaurant with direct access from the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the shower is hot and good, the bed is big and also good, there is water machines at each floor, free coffee at the lounge. The staff is very courteous and efficient. It is a good option for people who look for a good place to stay while visiting NY, specially if you want to stay close to the financial center.
The bed was AWESOME! Everyone keeps sayin they are stiff but theyre smokin crack. The room was nice and clean. Small but for the price in new york, it was perfect. The staff did everything they could to help us with anything we needed. The parking garage employees for the hotel were very polite and acomidating too. I wish there was a small fridge in the room but overall, it was an awesome place to stay. Deffinately coming back!
I am so happy about my experience in this hotel. Staff is very friendly and professional. They really know how to do business. I arrived early and they did let me check in with no additional charge. The room was very clean, and finally I could find a room with good pillows. See my pictures below. The room has a good Home system you can sync with your android or apple device and a 40 TV with all the major American Channels. An Iron board can be provided under request. The hotel also gives you the possibility to leave luggage and pick them up at your convenience before leaving the city. Additionally, there is a conference room (second floor with restrooms). This is a plus if you need a restroom to change or refresh yourself before leaving.Subway is literally on the corner, in 15-20 minutes you are in times square. I will be definitely be back if visiting New York.Room Tip: My room on the 12th floor was very quiet. The NY area around this hotel is quiet.
My daughter and I stayed overnight and we were greeted with enthusiastic employees to having the best informative experience. I was so thrilled that the amenities were in our room upon arrival. The bottle of wine was a plus and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Hotel management and service staff were great with anything that we may have forgotten or needed throughout our stay. Extra towels and blankets were brought up promptly when we asked for them. There was a nice complimentary snack area that was offered as well. The room was a little small but it was adequate. Location was great, with the world trade center and battery park both in walking distance
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms looked a little on the older side but they were still clean and comfortable. They held a free wine hour at 5, and had some free snacks and drinks in the lobby at all times. They also had chill purified water stations on each floor that you could fill your own bottle or use one supplied by them for free. Location was also good, close to lots of restaurants which were walking distance away (just look at a map first as you cant rely on GPS all the time to get you to where you need, I highly recommend downloading the NYC map in your phone on Google for offline use).
Beware - when this was a Club Quarters, it was great. The staff was very accommodating, rooms were clean, requests were handled promptly. This is now a Radisson Hotel and is horrible - dirty rooms, untrained and incompetent staff and best of all, they will charge your card whatever they please (found this out the hard way when they charged me $1600+ for the room fee AFTER I checked out, when I had already paid for the room in full before even checking in). If you ever do have an issue, dont bother asking for a manager because one wont be available to speak with you.
It was perfect. It was a little expensive and the room was small but thats new york for you. They had a water bottle refill machine which was great. Free wifi and right next to a subway stop. Nice and quiet except you could hear people in the hall from time to time. The staff was extremely nice and check in was super easy.
Great hotel! Hospitality was amazing. Dwayne in particular was very friendly and helped meet every one of our needs. They have great snacks in the lobby and a water fountain with recyclable bottles on every floor which was super convenient. Also a great location in the heart of the financial district.
Amazing stay, fantastic price, and the staff was beyond awesome!!Special shout out to Dana and Emanuel for taking such good care of us for our stay. Everything about our stay was awesome. The room was a very good size for downtown New York, they put us on a high floor like we asked, and I really just cant say enough nice things.
Really neat place to stay at. Rooms are incredibly undersized, but they do have all the amenities you need—so nothing to really complain about there. Also complimentary snacks and coffee in the lobby at all times and complimentary water bottles, which is rare! At a very centric place in downtown NYC, so you’ll be close to the financial district. Overall I recommend!
We had a great visit. The rooms are a little older and could use some upgrading, but they are clean. Same goes for the bathrooms, they are feeling a little dated. The hot water takes forever to heat up, and there is no safe in the room. There us complimentary chilled water on every floor which is a nice perk, and snacks in the lobby.
I want to say this hotel is terrible. Its not, really. Its just aggressively no better than okay. The room is fine, the location is decent. Its just .. everything else. HVAC very loud but eventually it settled The tv not hooked up and the remote faulty. 3 visits from the engineer to sort it. Keurig stocked with only decaf - three nights in a row. Water not restocked and the dispenser in the hall not functional.. The body wash was nice the first day - too bad you took the open one from the shower and didnt leave a new one.The staff are very nice but they dont seem to have much understanding of how to run a hotel.
This hotel is so nice and clean. I dont think Ive ever stayed somewhere more clean. They have a bag check service that you can use if your room isnt ready yet and you want to check out the city. You can also use the bag check when you check out. You can leave your bags there for the day and pick them up when you leave the city. They had a coffee machine in the lobby that makes any kind of coffee related beverage. There is unlimited chilled bottled water available. We went on a weekend so the hotel was very quiet. We stayed in a suite which has a queen bed and pull out sofa. They are separated by a wall between so everyone gets their own space. I would definitely stay here again.
One of the best deals in town. Room are comfortable. Bedding could be better but stellar service. The only thing that really bugged me was that the entrance is not traveler friendly. Heavy doors and STEPS! And not just a few. I struggled to get in the building and that felt far from welcoming. I understand that it is an old building but either install a proper ramp or get a door person! First impressions matter.
Three minor gripes, everything else was great. The bathroom door would not latch, the Queen size bed was two twin mattresses, and we had to request room service twice. These were not major issues that really hindered our stay. The hospitality was great and the rooms fulfilled or needs. Kudos to the staff for delivering complementary wine for my girl friends birthday. Overall 4/5.
We stayed here for our first trip to NYC and it was great! We got a great deal on travelocity and the room was clean, comfortable and modern. They offered complimentary snacks, coffee/lattes downstairs and from 5-6 offered wine and champagne!Staff was very kind. The only thing I wasn’t too happy about was the very expensive security deposit “for damages” was $130 and although it is refundable it’s still a bit annoying to have that money on hold especially when we were trying to do New York on a budget.
Recently spent two nights at Club Quarters and I was extremely happy with the quality of the rooms and the service that I received. The rooms are on the small side, but they are thoughtfully furnished and equipped in a way that makes them feel quite comfortable. He amenities are also pretty strong - free wifi, free coffee, free bottled water service, decent fitness center, and a business center. All of this right in the heart of the Financial District. Ill definitely be choosing here again for my next trip to this part of town.
I was looking for a cheap place at the last minute and this place popped up. Location is good. Near the World Trade Center, battery park, raging bull, Wall Street. It’s near the metro. It was clean and they give you snacks free in the lobby. Everyone was kind, room was modern, and lobby lounge was nice to hang out.The bad: housekeeping walked in on me even though I had the privacy sign up. They did a half knock and just barge right in. Rooms are small but comfortable enough. They provide bottles for you to fill up in chilled water. The facet in the lobby was fine. Chilled and taste fine. The facet on the floor I was staying on tasted weird. Bathroom was small, shower curtain didn’t do its job and water got everywhere. I needed to wash my clothes and there was only one machine there. Of course it was in used and I had I go to a laundromat.Overall, stay was decent enough if you want to explore lower manhattan. Would I stay here again? I would if there wasn’t any better choices.
The room that we had was extremely small. We paid good money...there was no breakfast...we walked into the bar downstairs and felt very awkward and walked out immediately. Please do not book a reservation. We were told that our room had a sleeper sofa but it didnt. We did not have trash liners either. The staff was very courteous tho.
We stayed 4 nights in September at the Hotel and loved it. Rooms were great and big enough to move. TV was nice and big with good programm but no pay per view. There is an ATM at the third floor and a nice coke place :). Financial district is nice but half the time we sat in taxis on our way to midtown. We also had a rental car which we were able to park on a discount at a garage 2 min. From the hotel. Its 10min. to Brooklyn Bridge. And near by are a good coffee store black Fox. 5 stars for the stay we would love to come again!!!
Excellent location, very clean and with renovated room it offers great value for money. The service was excellent and everyone was very helpful and friendly. We really liked that each floor had complementary water dispenser with reusable plastic bottles, in the lobby the are complementary nibbles and every day there is complementary wine from 5 to 6 which is an excellent way to relax and socialise. All the main attractions in South of Manhattan are at walking distance. The red and the brown subway lines are less than 50 metres away and the green and the yellow lines are less than 200m away which means that you can go everywhere without the need for changing line.Free access to a brand new Mac and free printing facility that we used for printing our train tickets. All this made our stay very comfortable, we love it. Value for money was excellent
Its a decent place to stay. It is conveniently located by the subway entrance and in the Wall Street district. Our room was a bit tight. The bed had about 2 feet of space to manuever from the edge of the bed to the wall. The bathroom had very little counter space. Ceiling height was incredible. It was about 20 feet high. I was very happy with our stay. If you are in the 200+ lbs range, you may want to check to ensure that there is enough room between the edge of the bed and the walls. It will be hard to get to the other side of the bed.
The room was on the smaller side but perfect for one or two people. I had a decent view being on the highest floor. The bathroom was clean and some aspects were updated. Complimentary beverages and snacks down in the lobby was nice. Free wifi. The staff was helpful and friendly. You cant beat the price for a stay during the week. I will most likely be booking here again.
My husband and I stayed for two nights over the holiday weekend. The staff, particularly Dwayne, was very helpful, courteous and friendly. They have complimentary coffee available in the morning and wine at 5:00 pm. The room was spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend the hotel.
Good hotel and friendly employees. Our room didnt have much of a view, but it was spacious and nice for being in NYC. We stayed in Wall Street for our holiday this time to avoid the biggest masses of tourists. The metro is right downstairs so getting across Manhattan is very easy.Bonus points because they did not charge us a resort fee and because there are free water bottles on every floor.
Good hotel location & larger than average rooms. Rooms are modern & clean with Keurig coffee makers in room, Netflix on the large flat screen & comfortable beds. There are a few employees there that seem like they’re in the wrong business, since it’s the hospitality industry, but overall it’s a good experience checking in & getting help. The housekeeping staff is great. Very helpful & friendly. The gym & lounge area are also very nice. Not sure it’s a true 4-Star, more a 3.5.
Very solid option for folks that are in town on business for a few days. I spent 4-5 days here and I didnt have a single issue. The place was clean, quiet, and a fair price. Its incredibly convenient if youre working in the financial district. Its even fairly close to a few different subway stations. One complaint I do have about the hotel was that my bathroom door was a bit narrow. Im not a huge guy but the door was definitely smaller than my shoulder width.
We went for an over night to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary. Check in was fast & easy. We spoke with John D. who was at the front desk. He was very friendly & accommodating. We had mentioned we were celebrating our Anniversary, that our kids sets this up. When we got to our room it was clean & had a very comfortable atmosphere. A few minutes later a we heard someone knock on our door. Compliments of John D. was 2 bottles of wine, red & white & 2 wine glasses & 2 nut & cheese trays! What a nice unexpected treat! Thank you John D. We definitely recommend a stay here quiet & clean. Perfect for a nice stay in NYC!
The hotel has just recently become a Radisson (was a Club Quarters prior). Rooms are not spacious; a standard queen has only one chair, a desk and a very small bathroom. For the price, and if you’re just wanting to sleep, this place is fine. Also, a great restaurant, The Bailey, is attached and provides great food, drinks, and a breakfast buffet. The manager, Gregory Velo, is very receptive to guest issues as he works to bring the hotel to Radisson standards. When issues were mentioned he was very responsive and made note of the issue for immediate resolution. There are subway stations VERY close to hotel. NOTE: The William/Pine station does not operate on weekends (it is located underneath a business building that is not operable on weekends) – use the Wall Street station at Wall/William instead.
Just checked in, great experience so far. Iris was great at check-in, and the staff I spoke to on the elevator was cheerful. Interesting architecture in the rooms, with interesting angles. After we stay a few nights, I will update the review. Wine every evening at 5:00 pm
Great place to stay when staying in NYC. Extremely accommodating staff, not to mention the free wine nightly from 5-6. Room is perfect for calling home base while doing the tourist sites. Free washer and dryer if you need to do laundry, as well as free refillable water bottles on every floor, and a free coffee machine on the first floor.
Great location and very close to the subway which will take you towards Times Square or Brooklyn in 20 mins. The room was spacious and quiet. Only reason why there wasnt a 5 star rating is because of the small bathroom and the way the bed is positioned. When the bathroom light is turned on it shines brightly towards the bed disturbing whoever is sleeping. The door is see through and so doesnt help.Free tea, coffee and drinks downstairs which is great.
A nice place to stay with a great location. My boyfriend and I usually stick to chain hotels but we booked this on hotwire for a great price. The room was a good size compared to other New York hotels, it was nice and clean. The front desk staff was attentive and helpful. There was a filtered water station on our floor with water bottles you could take to go, a nice extra Ive never seen before. They even had free wine in the lobby on one of the days. My only complaint is the one ply toilet paper we were given in the room. I know they have to cut costs somewhere but I was suprised when everything else was so nice, two ply please!
Fantastic hotel with great staff. We enjoyed our 2-day stay very much. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were all great, especially Kiki and Dwayne who helped us the the front desk and helped make our visit for my 40th birthday (which happens to be on Christmas Day) a little more special. We would definitely stay here again the next time we come to New York.
You guys are amazing! I was really surprised to find such a nice place for a reasonable price in the downtown of Manhattan. Good looking, modern, nice and clean rooms, friendly and prompt staff at the reception, great service. We were even offered to visit an on-premises vine tasting session at 5 oclock. Keep up the excellent work!
Good hotel in a decent location. Close to everything in the financial district and some historical landmarks.Pros - Parking is a block away. Good heating unit in rooms. Restaurant has amazing food and prompt room service. Rooms are small but its NYC, what are you even doing in the hotel?Cons - Bed is too hard. Coffee in room is only for one person. Room service never picked up food tray even after two phone calls and it sat outside our room over night. Which is unsanitary.
Great location, with easy access to many Subway stations (5-7 min walk). Relatively quiet neighborhood at least on weekends. The room was small but for a one night stay for a single person I cant complain. The hotel was clean though and the staff are very friendly. Parking is available at the liberty plaza garage next door with a discount.
I have hosted visiting guests from out of town here for many years. Now that we all have less visitors, this neighborhood hotel will be able to host our needy New Yorkers who need our help now more than ever. Welcome to our neighborhood New friends and neighbors:-) Happy Holidays!
Room was smaller than Id pictured, but not uncomfortably so. Very modern, lots of usb charging ports. Something unique was a water dispenser in the hallway, along with empty (clean) bottles for you to fill. Location is convenient, and not too loud for a weekend night. They also held our bags for us after checkout since our flight wasnt until 7:30p, so we didnt have to drag them all over New York.
Stayed here for one night and everyone was AMAZING! Super kind and helpful. Want to give a big shoutout to Greg who let us check in early, and was extremely accommodating during our stay. Very friendly and also a past DMV (DC, Maryland & Virginia) resident! Will definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family! Thanks everyone :)
This was the worst experience in a hotel, ever.Club Quarters is cheap, but not the cheapest option there is. If you want to stay somewhere in lower Manhattan look for another hotel, you will be thankful that you decided to not stay here.First of all, the rooms are tiny. This isnt really an issue for me, but will be for those looking for space. They could change the layout of the rooms to make it more habitable.- The bed was HARD. I have a bad back and it was just not good. Sheets were rough, probably 100 thread count, and there was only 1 pillow for me and 1 pillow for my husband. I asked for an extra pillow at the front desk and they told me to get one out the the guest closet next to the water station. The guest closet on my floor was completely empty and I had to go to the floor below where there was luckily a pillow, but that was it - there was nothing else in that closet (I am assuming this is where all extra pillows, blankets, shampoo, soap, etc are stored).- There was no mini fridge in the room and there was not a single microwave in the entire place. I feel like there should be a microwave in every hotel. Theres always been one in every hotel I have stayed in except this one. You are already out of town and eating out all the time. I had leftovers that I wanted to heat up in eat, but I could not. Disappointing.- This hotel is very close to many trains. This is probably the only positive thing about this place. The location is very convenient. That being said, stay literally anywhere else. You will find a much better room for the $120-$170 that you will pay per night in this crappy hotel. Now for the kicker...I didnt see it the first night because I was tired and threw the extra blanket on the bed and went to sleep. Luckily this blanket was not touching my body because what I found the next night still makes me feel sick.I was going through a bag I had on the bed and when I moved it I noticed something on the bed. I inspected it (with my eyes only thank god) and it had the undeniable shape of a CONDOM. It was pretty stuck together so I am assuming? hoping? that the blanket was washed with the condom in it and then it got stuck to the blanket and ended up on my bed. I walked the blanket down to the front desk and the man working asked if he could help me and I proceeded to tell him I found a nasty old condom on the blanket and needed a new one. He had a look of disgust on his face, apologized, and said a new blanket would be sent up and that someone would call me tomorrow.I did get a new blanket. No one ever called. The only thing they gave me was a comped late checkout at 3pm. Needless to say I am not happy.Oh also, the coffee machine in the lounge (where there were NO snacks the entire time we were there, which they advertise) doesnt make real coffee. Its disgusting. Its hot water and syrup. I took one sip and went to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts the rest of the time I was there.AVOID. Seriously, you can find a better place.
The staff was great! Super responsive! The place was also clean... But when we arrived there there was a leak and we were treated to an indoor waterfall. After that the TV in our room had to be repaired and the heat didnt work. My boyfriend and I were less than impressed and wont be returning.
I spent a night at the hotel. It was a short and comfortable stay. Its very close to some of the big attractions. Great location actually. After a day of traveling , complimentary coffee in the lobby was much welcomed by a tired me. The bathroom was disappointingly small.but overall, I think I will stay there again if I am in the city for a short trip.
The room (and especially the bathroom) was very compact, but it was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated the water bottle station and stopped there multiple times. The bathroom wasnt in the best shape, but the room itself was nicely appointed. Id definitely stay there again.
Location! Location!! Location!!! Right in downtown Manhattan steps from the Stock Exchange Building, several subway lines and a 10 minute walk from the World Trade Centre. The rooms were big in size, ours had a bar fridge and pull out sofa bed, though our bed was only a queen (could have been a king for the amount of space in the room). We were traveling with our infant son, and unfortunately they don’t have cribs at the hotel, but we made due with blankets and the yoga mat that was included in the room. They have a nightly 5-6pm happy hour with wine, pop, coffee/tea and snacks which was a nice welcome. We flew into town pretty early and were pleasantly surprised when the front desk agents let us check in early (it was about 10am)! (And of course a huge thank you to Anthony who was able to assist us when we were stranded in NYC an extra night with accommodating us in a similar room that we booked previously.)The only downfall to the entire experience was that they have an accessible lift at the main entrance, however the lift was broken the entire time we were there and they said it was out of service for a while, and not sure when it would be fixed, so we had to continually carry our stroller up and down the stairs each time we left or came back to the hotel.Loved that they had a water station near the guest room with water bottles that you could fill and take with on the go.
Great location. Near everything one may need in regards to shopping, dining, entertainment, professional activities, etc. Rooms layouts are very smart and up-to-date. Ability to live stream and cast online and phone, computers and smart devices contents to flat screen TV is definitely a plus. Third floor is packed with guest perks and facilities including office workstations, gym, laundry, etc. Outstanding hotel in the heart of the Wall Street district.
Hotel is a little dated but clean. Great location. But the most outstanding part of this was the night Front Desk Anthony. Outstanding service. Our company messed up our reservation and he instructed us on what was needed to have the reservation fixed. This guy never lost his cool, was calm and collected and never lost his excellent customer service skills. Here in NYC is hard to find quality customer service like this and thos hotel lucked out with him. The hotel has crew lounge, free wifi, bottle filling stations and its in the heart of the financial district. Very conveniently located. Yes the rooms are on the smaller side but its a comfortable place.
Loved the area. First time staying further away from Timesquare. Still a busy area, however nothing like Timesquare area, which I enjoyed. It is close to Battery park, Clinton Hall, World Trade, 911 memorial, and various subways. You can easily get to Timesquare. Close to the famous Bull. The room was decent sized. Friendly staff. Very clean rooms and entrance. Enjoyed the complimentary wine and snacks from 5pm to 6pm. Loved that they had a washer and dryer! Was able to keep my clothes clean, plus, a mini gym. They held our luggage for a couple hours at check out so we could enjoy our day before catching our flight. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the bathroom was very small, no vent system, which made it very stuffy in there, and I had to ask for toilet paper. Other then that loved it and would highly consider staying there again.
It was a very decent room for a one night stay in.. the room wasnt big but not too small.. at first the clerk at the front did give me the wrong room at first but once I got to the room where I was supposed to be it was fine.. not noisy everything was clean and the bed was well mad. It also had its own central air system so u could control the temperature in the room which I found great..It didnt have a microwave or a small refrigerator but thats why I found it ok for a one night stay..
I must say, for 2 adults and 1 child our room was perfect. We had the room with the kitchenette because we had asked for the room with the kitchenette. It came in handy because our stay was 5 nights, so we were able to buy snacks and store them. There is a free washer and dryer with free laundry soap :) I was happy and surprised about that. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There was unlimited water bottles and filtered water which I loved because I drink a lot of water and coffee which was the deal breaker for our room because it came with a Keurig inside the room and an expersso/cafe latte/cappuccino/coffee maker downstairs. Overall our stay was pleasant, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The check in experience was smooth and the room was nice; very serviceable for an overnight stay in New York. The Continental breakfast was described as coffee, fruit, and granola bars, though the granola was gone by the time we got downstairs and the coffee had a long wait at a single machine.
The placement of the hotel is amazing its right next to a metro station and is in general pretty close to a lot of stores the rooms are also equipped with Chromecasts which is super amazing and I have used it everyday. unfortunately there was a problem with the TV at first but it was quickly resolved by restarting the it. unfortunately the room smells really weird and its not possible to get rid of the smell due to the window being locked. its therefore not possible to open it.
Exceptional location, bed and bathroom comfort, and hands- down quality customer service, plus early check-in, and bag storage after check-out plus a nice restaurant next door. It made enjoying NYC so easy. Really, best stay we have enjoyed in a very long time (and we do a lot of traveling).
Nice hotel, newly painted, kind of old style. Had 2 rooms, one had a double wardrobe, thr other had a half wardrobe. Both rooms had a queen size bed for two. One room had a refrigerator, the other did not.The rooms were pretty clean, but not as expected. The room, 18th floor, with small wardrobe and no refrigerator had a nicer view than the one on 19th floor and refrigerator. Quiet surroundings, short walk to Battery Park. A few breakfast places around. Quite busy in the morning, but nice and quiet in the evening. Would recommend this, but it could be cleaner.
Great Hotel! Fantastic Location... conveniently located near the South St Pier, not to mention close to the NYSE and subways!Great memories staying at this hotel as this is where Best Movers Van Lines love story continued.... stayed there for honeymoon after big wedding reception! Will definitely come back!
Stayed here on our first trip to new york a few weeks ago and really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Yes, it could do with a little tlc to get 5 stars but what made this hotel was the staff, they couldnt of been more helpful! Only problem we had was with the tv and that was sorted immediately.Ask the staff for recommendations, advice and they couldnt do enough to help, friendly, knowledgeable and just lovely. The hotel is ideally located for Downtown, a short walk to battery park for the statue of liberty and ellis island ferry, staten island ferry. Wall street is right there, and the subway on the corner.Quiet location, easy access to subway and local sights, excellent staff made this perfect destination for our first visit and one I would whole heartedly return to again.
I initially booked the room because it was rather in-expensive for NYC. Overall - it was just fine for what we needed - just a place to sleep when we got off of our red-eye and after we got back from a night out. But, the room is rather small (not all that surprising for NYC I guess?) and the parking isnt on-site and is rather expensive. It did mention the cost, but wasnt expecting it to not be on site. I think that if needed, we would probably stay here again since it was in a rather quiet area... but would possibly also look elsewhere.
Could be a nice place, but misses some big opportunities. They could benefit from having a doorman or bell captain to help with those checking in with a car. Managed to get a $65 parking ticket within a few minutes for being parked inches into the taxi stand area. Room 1602 bathroom needs a remodel, stop adding caulking to the 1982 tile, its awful. Carpet so thin, its like walking on concrete. Convenient location for financial district business travel.
First of all this is good hotel if your doing business in the Wall Street. If your tourist not such a good choice due to lack of eaters and night life. The rooms are clean The TV seldom works well and just one wash cloth and facial towel or room. Front desk p uh shes their own restaurant is not particularly helpful in recommending other establishments. A free snack and wine time at night is an extremely small window of time. What they call a living room area tends to attract a rough backpacker crowd.
I have never stayed in this hotel. My office is next door so that may be the reason Google keeps asking me how is Club Quarters. I can say it is conveniently located if you have business in the Financial District. There is also a restaurant and bar a few feet from the entrance to the hotel. A Duane Reade drugstore is a half block away..actually there are many nice places to get food, coffee and a great dessert place called Financier one block away and a Duncan Donuts across the street. Subway station on the corner too, even a very nice Catholic Church. I cant tell you about the rooms, but location is great!! So basically my 5 stars are related to the area. Enjoy!!
I stayed on the 10th floorNot 4 star at allMy room has thin metal window blinds, like living in an office from the 80sHot water takes a while to heat upGreen carpets in hallway are an eyesore, the overall room decor and furniture is old. The place really needs updating.Room is very datedPurified water in hall is goodGym is fine, has the basics
First, the hotel is in a fantastic area, you have every attractions in reach and subways close to the hotel. The room are small but in the high tech end. The ceiling was damaged, except that, everything seemed in good shape. My only complain was the lack of sound deadening, inside and outside, I was at the third floor and it was anoying during the night. Had a good price for the parking (which is a couple of blocks away), always appreciated in New York.I had a substential discount on a third party website, so I cant complain on the price.Liked the free water bottles in the hallway, great idea.
Cons: The ground of my room was shaking as if theres an earthquake whenever someone was using the elevator. The elevator numbers are messed up when traveling upward (I got really scared seeing it jump by large margins) and there was no inspection license on it. The window in my room could not be opened to let air in. Pros: Its right on Wall street so within walking distance of many banks, retail, the World trade centre station, and great food places.
Clean, comfortable room. Complimentary laundry room and gym came in handy, as did the free purified water stations and bottles. Staff were friendly. Didnt try the bar/restaurant.Walkable to WTC1, the liberty island ferry, Brooklyn bridge and literally right next to the Wall Street subway station.Try Leos bagels down the street!
Unfortunately, one of the worst hotel stay in my life. I think even if they planned it it couldnt get any worst than this:-arrival at hotel: no people helping with luggage nor anybody behind the desk-room: was given a room already occupied by someone else, had to go down and change. reminded the desk I purchased 2 separated beds-new room assigned: it has one queen, back down to change it-front desk ask me to separate the bed myself, i refuse to do it-someone shows up after a while and separate the beds, take out the nice bedding and leaves 2 bottom sheets (no top) and a 20 year old crunchy blanket. IT DOES NOT MAKE THE BED! he claims its not his job and he cannot do it.-back down to complain and I am told they dont have any staff to make the bed. at least I ask for regular bedding, and instead I receive another bottom sheet 20 minutes later.Bottom line: spent $300 to sleep like a boy scout at summer camp in wall street. The hotel seem to be run by careless teenagers.
Website notes the hotel offers Luggage Storage but do not use unless you want your bags stolen. We dropped off ours and they put tags on the bags with our last name and also gave us the correlating numbered stubs. Later after we returned, we gave the front desk our stubs at check-in and they took us to the second floor where we saw an employee who appeared to be in charge of the bags texting outside the unlocked room. We were told to just go in and grab our bags. We found one, but not mine. The employee did not check the tags. I noted I did not find mine, and the employee texting outside said Another one? They continued to check an unlocked, dark supply closet and an unlocked stairwell, where they had also apparently been keeping bags. Mine was not found until the next morning, after an extremely unpleasant night without any of my medications or clothes. When asked how this happened, they responded that another guest simply mistook the bag for their own - a problem that could have been solved had the employees actually been in charge of the bags and checked tags which had not only corresponding numbers, but the guests NAME! Not to mention that on our way out of the hotel after discovering that my bag was missing, we waltzed right into the storage room and closet again to double check we didnt miss my bag, and no one was in sight. Bags can easily be stolen here, or taken by the wrong people (which seemed to happen twice the day I was there). Will not stay again.
Solid NYC hotel adjacent to the Wall St subway station. The beds were super-springy and the room would benefit from a strong, deep cleaning, but that didnt stop me from getting a good night sleep. I got pleasant customer service and there was a small but usable fitness room with machines that were all functioning. All in all, I would stay here again, but it isnt really compelling for me not to hotel shop for better deals and properties.
Excellent Staff! Great location. They have and still is renovating the rooms so we had a newly reno room.Beds are comfy. The Bar resturant staff were very nice and polite I couldnt believe I was in NYC. Thank you Club Quarters for your patient and kindness to my 12year old he said the staff was COOL... And they made him guest of the week. Rooms are roomy and clean, great location helpful staff and walkability is great.
Good place to stay in Midtown New York City. In a busy neighborhood yet quiet and cozy. Good customer service. Their complimentary water and snacks all through the day is really good but their free wine to guests from 5-6pm every evening is the highest game! Thanks for being so nice yet professional💋👍 guys please go see for yourself anytime you all ready in New York City or want a home away from home.
Did not stay here. Had a booking for this hotel scheduled for 19th-22nd of March. Was unable to leave Australia due to the travel ban. Attempted to get in contact with the hotel for that reason, however they did not return any of my 3 emails. I also contacted my supplier (Agoda) to explain if they could get in touch, to no avail. Their communication is quite poor and I have been unable to get a refund. Will not stay here when I visit in the future.
I was at Club Quarters in February temperature was freezing and after a long flight I check in into a room with a broken heater. Obv. it was super cold and I called room service after 45mins someone showed up to tell me he has to go to fix other issues in other rooms and he will back. So I waited for another hour and no one showed up. I then had to go down to change the room and the concierge were not flexible, and they gave me a hard time to change the room, but finally they change the room for me. I highly recommend you not to go for this hotel.
Beware room #1306Stayed July 4th, 5th and left 6th. Gave a 2 star rating due to air conditioning. 1st night was ok but not a really a very cool room. 2nd night we got in very late and noticed both units in our room were not working right. One completely quit and one continually blew out room temp air only, failing to cool at all. Called main desk and said they would send someone up. We waited and no one came. Its now past 1:00 am. It was burning up in there. Suffered through the night. Wish we could of got a differ room but it was so late we gave up. When checking out confronted desk again about air unit and got a big whopping 20.00 facility discount taken off. Not normally a complainer but wow show some compassion. I guess if they were in the room theyd understand better the misery of the temp.1st time in NYCOn a positive note. Loved the location, how it looked inside, free water, and they held our bags when arriving early and checking out. The girls were very nice at desk upon check in.
Stayed at this hotel for four days just last week and its a nice hotel from the outside and the lobby looks nice, but the service is awful!!!! My first day, I realized there was no refrigerator in the room ( I expected that there would be since they are the first hotel ever to charge security of $170 on my card) Unless youre breaking the bathroom mirror or trying to take the bed or desk, Im unsure why they do a take out deposit... theres no refrigerator to take items from...okay, fine.I was also disappointed that they only left 2 DE CAFF coffees near the coffee maker. BUT then, the next day I was out all day to come back to my room... bed still unmade, dirty coffee mugs and glasses still next to the coffee pot and everything left the same except for 2 new towels in the bathroom and old towels taken... ( unless the maid just folded the ones up from the floor and put them back nicely! I wouldnt doubt that happening at this point) No new washrag, no new shampoo/ lotion/ soap.... NOTHING! I called the front desk, they said they would send someone and that I could also check the complimentary guest closet in the hallway Nobody ever showed up AND the closet was empty other than a few bags of tea. I then went to the lobby to ask again after a few hours and they took my room number and still... no service! The entire four days I stayed.... this was the exact same routine! Im in disbelief that this is rated almost a 4! I go back and forth to NY on a regular basis and like to find hotels to stay regularly.... THIS IS DEF NOT ON MY LIST AGAIN!!! The service is awful! Plan to have a dirty room and to get your morning coffee outside!!
Hotel was it was okay.the lounge and restaurant was excellent during the day but after about 6 forget it they pack it in. The reason for the one star is I got extremely sick during and after my stay there. Believe it or not it sent me to the hospital for 9 months! Was it legionnaires disease? What was it? Me (meaning my lawyer and I) are trying to find out what caused this. Contact me for further details...
Hotel is nice and clean, room service good, restaurant and bar downstairs is lovely. Here on business? Making phone calls in your room?Dont even. Unless you want to get noise complaints and a security guard threatening to fine your room.I came back to my room after work at 6pm. I had a conference call at 7:30 and received a noise complaint at 8pm. My t.v was off. No music, no other external noise. I was simply sitting at my desk on the phone.Second conference call at 9pm EST and received a second noise complaint and threat of a fine, at 10pm! The city bylaws for noise complaints are 11pm - 7am. Why are they threatening fines before police would even consider it? And for speaking on the phone??Do not come here if you want to conduct any business in your room. Unless you want your neighbours hearing what you are saying because of thin walls, or want threats of arbitrary fines that arent even within the cities own noise bylaws. What a joke.
Stayed at Club Quarters over the weekend. Overall, the stay was pleasant. The TVs offered Netflix and Hulu, which is always a plus. It is also possible to order room service on the TV, which was cool. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room didnt have a mini-fridge, which I found odd. I brought fruit and beer, and ended up having to keep it chilled by the window. Luckily it is November, so thats possible! The room was also loud. I could hear the door next to ours slam pretty regularly. The location is great. Lots of wonderful restaurants and bars nearby, and its super close to the water. For what you pay, for other hotels in Manhattan, I would say we got our moneys worth.
We had a wonderful experience staying here for 6 weeks. It is in downtown Manhattan, New York, USA.It has a pantry in every room with microwave oven.Staff were good, they became like family members due to our extended stay.It has free washing machine facility. In the lobby computers with internet connection and free printing facility.
Maybe Ive been spoilt by some of the other 4-star hotels Ive recently stayed at, but this one doesnt compare. Once you couch your expectations knowing that this isnt a luxury hotel, youll be fine.Pros:1. Available chilled bottled water2. In-house restaurant3. Decent cable4. Fast check-in with friendly concierge5. Decently stocked gym6. I had hot water7. You have a variety of places to eat from including the restaurant, or from seamless online delivery service.8. Dunkin Donuts right across the street!!!!!9. Housekeeping was very friendly.10. Complimentary fruit, m&ms, teas and coffee in the lobby.Cons:1. My room was located on the 3rd floor so there was a fair amount of foot traffic, and noise. I was constantly woken up at 2 and 3 in the morning by what sounded like plates rattling on trolleys in the outside hallways.2. There was construction right outside my window which started early on a Saturday morning.3. Room isnt soundproofed so I was woken up throughout the night by various loud noises outside my window.4. No view from my room.5. Minor issue, but I need a pitch black room to sleep in, there was a constant light coming from the window, where the shade ended and the wall began, and from under the door. All in all, not totally bad - a solid 3.5. If you just want a place to rest your head, then this is your spot. If you love the extra comforts of a luxury hotel, then this is not the place.
Hotel is ok, water chilled on floor, have to go to different floor for ice, drinks. room 1007 heat was not working. kept dropping below 60f each night. had maintenance look at it three times. still didnt work even though they said its working now. cheap price, very small rooms. wont stay again. Im picki. i stay in hotels 6 months a year
If you have ever stayed in nyc before, you would know the hotel rooms are all small. The room was nice and peaceful. One of the heaters werent working right but not a huge deal. The front desk staff was very nice but seemed alittle frustrated at the help when it took two times asking to get extra pillows. All in all i will stay here again.
-Prices felt very reasonable for the location and quality-Cold filtered water on each floor was unique and appreciated-building felt in good shape. Fast elevators, attentive cleaning staff, etc.-Wall Street is pretty dead at night. Still plenty of eating options, but not as energetic of a vibe as I was expecting.
I go here often as Im regularly in NYC for business or just weekend get aways. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. They try their best to accommodate you during your stay and thry take good care of you. The price is very good, and you sometimes get the option to upgrade to a suite for an additional $40 a night which is sweet. The rooms are a little small but large enough if youre going to be out on the town. And the beds are comfortable enough. The only cons are the small rooms (which can cheaply be upgrade to suites depending on availability), location, and room service. The location is fairly convenient especially if youre working on Wall Street. Howevee its downtown so the access to nightlife is a little limited. There are some options but youre better off going to West Village. There also arent many train stations nearby. There is a Wallstreet station at the corner, but its closed on weekends. The next closest option is going to Broadway just a few blocks up for 4 and 5 train access or going to Fulton which is also a few blocks away.Lastly the room service is pretty bad. Theyre connected to an Irish Pub. Whomever takes the orders from the pub is very impatient and rude. And not only that their food isnt anything to write home about. Not bad but definitely not worth the attitude. Youre better off getting UberEats which has numerous FiDi options. All and all very good experience. I cant recommend it enough. Me and my girlfriend loves staying here and we also love the staff. Definitely check it out when youre in town.
Very convenient business hotel with great staff and easy access around the corner from Wall Street. Buildings are close together so dont necessarily expect a view unless youre high up, and the room space, while more than adequate, seemed kind of strangely used. Worth every penny.
Club Quarters is in New York’s Financial District -- its a short walk to the New York Stock Exchange, World Trade Center, and the newly revitalized South Street Seaport. Im a small woman with big luggage, so it was disappointing to arrive and find no wheelchair ramp or elevator - or doorman - to help get my luggage up the two small flights of stairs into the hotel. The people at the front desk were friendly; and the lounge area past the reception looked inviting. I had a Standard Room, and it was spacious enough to stretch out and do a little yoga in (remember, Im only 51 though). It also had a good-sized desk and chair to work from. Theres free WiFi, so that was a plus. It would have been much nicer if the room had better lighting, though: The fluorescent bulbs and lack of natural light made the room feel more like prison than the decent room it was. I didnt visit the Club Floor, but it supposedly has more business amenities, and theres a small fitness center. For the price I paid (which was half the price of most of the other hotels in the same area), it was a great value and fine stay for one night on a business trip; but I wouldnt stay here if I were on vacation. The feel of the building and room just wasnt relaxing enough.
Almost hostel like. Small rooms, not super great for 2+ people, but we made it work. Evening social hour, and 24/7 espresso machine with a steamed milk option. Floors also have a waterbottle refill station, with new empty bottles for guests to fill and take. Also a self-service closet where you can get more shampoo/lotion etc.
We spent a night here when we first moved to the city. If youre looking to stay in Lower Manhattan, then this is a good hotel. The room was clean and felt very cozy. The hotel is right next to the 9/11 memorial, across the street from the Brookefield Place Shopping Mall, and just up West Side Highway from Battery Park.
Club Quarters (all locations) are always a great place for work travel. Theres a gym and a restaurant, and the rooms are comfortable and decently appointed, but it is not a luxury accommodation. Easy check in and out, no fuss during the stay, and generally convenient locations around many major cities.
The location was great, as well as the service. For discount price for a place in the heart of Manhattan, the room was rather spacious and even allowed for additional bed placing. Distilled water dispenser was available on the floor, adjoined by complimentary water bottles.
The Club Quarters is a reasonably nice hotel compared to others that I have stayed at world wide. Starting at the bottom, the reception staff are helpful and friendly. Theres nice food and drinks in the attached bar/restaurant. The lounge is cozy and comfortable, and the elevators are well maintained and dont make me feel like death is imminent. When you get to the room, youll find that they have a decent layout for the main area, and a somewhat cramped bathroom. Finally, I always look for good technology in hotel rooms. The internet here is BLAZING FAST (I was getting 50Mbit up and down) and extremely reliable, and not requiring any stupid login or payment. There are plenty of outlets throughout the room conveniently placed, and the TV gets the standard cable channels.Definitely would stay here again!
Professional and friendly front desk service. Its at a location which it can be a bit hard to find at night but on weekends it is a quiet area. The rooms are clean and spacious however it your rooms are close to the elevators, you may experience a bit more foot traffic noise.
It was a comfortable hotel. Nothing fancy but if you have a family or youre a couple,or just buddies. Then, this is the right location for you. No complimentary breakfast, but good stuff to snack on. However, locating it or try to get picked up is a hassle. Otherwise, its fantastic.
I appreciated the service of the front desk clerk they explained to me everything i needed to know and i was very impressed. The room was a little larger then the average nyc hotel room equipped with mini fridge & microwave!Bars are not far away on stone st.Not so good part was there was a tray left from someones room service that has been in the hallway all wkend. When i informed the clerk at front desk he said the restaurant handles it...i hope this doesnt happen often.
Here for business, had a nice room on the 15th floor but the tv wasnt working. They moved me to the fourth floor, where surprise the tv doesnt work properly and the ambient noise level is twice as high. Had to wait almost ten minutes for hot water as well. Good location for work and wifi was great.
I arrived to New York on a red eye flight and arrived at the hotel by 6am, my check in time wasnt until after 2pm as listed in my booking online, but the concierge desk was very accommodating, they managed to get me a room by 10am which was alot earlier than I expected. Being that it was a Saturday morning with all the check ins they were doing, they were so quick with processing my room key. I hung out a bit in their beautiful lounge; there was a few tables for people to enjoy takeout food, a few coffee tables and big comfy chairs. I must mention, I fell in love with their automated espresso and latte coffee machine. They also had purified water on tap. One thing I was a little disappointed in was that the snacks (salted pretzels, wasabi peas, peanuts and M&Ms) they provided always ran out and wasnt restocked. I was able to get my fill eventually after numerous trips to the lounge to check for availability. They also had apples, banana, and granola bars for the hungry travellers when they werent out of stock. I also saw a communal bar refrigerator (although Im not quite sure I would put my food in there and leave it alone trust issues I guess haha)There was also a gym on the third floor available for guests to use. I used the gym once and although it wasnt very big, it was adaquate with the basic machines, ie treadmill, elliptical, bike, a weight pulley system and free weights. They had a few yoga mats hanging on the floor and small towels for guests to use that was restocked daily. The gym cam fully equipped with a single washroom also which meant that I would not need to go back to my room midway during my workout if I needed the washroom. My room came with a yoga mat to use, I brought this along to the gym to use. What I loved the most was that on each floor there was brand new empty bottles and a purified water tap that guests could use to fill up their bottle.I would gladly stay at this place again.
We got a great deal on our room at this hotel and were very pleased with the location and overall comfort of our room. The best part about it is that it is in a central location so you can get to touristy places like the bull, the Staten island ferry, and the 9/11 memorial easily.
Located right next to a Subway station, with a gym, polite front desk staff, and a filtered water dispenser in the hall, this is a good hotel for someone who wants to see ny and doesnt mind being a little far away from the main sights. The rooms are plain, but have all the basics. Unfortunately, someone had set the alarm clock in or room to go off at 6:45 on Sunday morning. We also did not get replacement towels on our second day.
One of the worst hotels i have ever been to unfortunately. The room was tiny and so was the bathroom. The carpet was very old. The shower kept on making sounds and so was the AC. The coffee make made horrible coffee too i dont know how that is even possible. On the PH level getting to the room is weird with ups and downs (not a flat surface) with narrow hallways. Last but no least, the parking is not even at the hotel location but too streets down or something. Such a weird and INCONVENIENT hotel :s
Clean but slightly tired hotel in the heart of wall street 5 mins walk to the bull and 7 mins to battery park. Hotel staff are smiley and pleasant, and give you distance. Room service is late in the day. The hotel is as already mentioned in need of a refresh at least 8th floor is lobby bar and restaurant is wall Street prices. Lobby bar rest rooms during day were not cleaned the 2 plus hrs I was there.
I booked a room for today, March 14th. Im stuck Im Chicago because of a tornado warning and the Boeing 737 issue. When I callef to cancel or ask for a credit they stayed that their policy requires 24 notice. The tornado, Boeing nor American Airlines gave me any notice. The attendant was relatively polite but sternly told me the company policy 24 hour notice. I will never stay there again and will warn my colleagues against it. Good bye.
What can be worst ? the room is small and smell mold. The bathroom was build to fit on the Barbies house because a normal guy (6 2) does not fit. The concierge is not exactly friendly. The TV is 15 and the remote control is not accurate. The price was decent for this rat cave $160/night
Room is clean, staff is friendly, located close to several subway stations making it easy to get around. Free bottles water is a huge plus too. However there were lots of little things that just were off. Bathrooms way too small (I get that its Manhattan, but still). The shower knob comes right off of the wall. Lots of little trim pieces on the walls were broken. The walls in the elevators seemed ready to fall off at times. One of the outlets in my room was missing a cover plate. My phone didnt work, meaning I couldnt call the front desk. Also the restaurant seems nice, but its way too pricey. Im not paying $12 a day for a cold continental breakfast. Cant comment on room price, other than that they will accept government per diem rates. I mean, its not bad. But its listed as a 3-star hotel. Id say 2.5 at best. For what was advertised, I was underwhelmed.
My first impression was not very good with an automated checkin that did not work after several tries. No ramp for pushchairs. When I came into the room the desk and everyhing else was covered with a thin layer of dust. Although I did get a small baby nest for the little one. The aircon is way too noisy. However its a fairly good hotel for such a location.
I would highly recommend this hotel. This is a great place to stay in Downtown New York. Near to the WTC memorial and easy to walk to Battery Park. The service is lovely and provide all that one can ask for. The staff is really courteous and very helpful. The 20th floor Work View restaurant is a charm and serves a sumptuous breakfast. Though would prefer to see a more varied menu. Also the restaurant support in house delivery and can have that added to you Bill. The TV covers almost all network channels and has in built Chromecast support which I found to be awesome. This is all supported by a high quality complimentary wifi network.
Extremely poor service. First, I wasnt greeted at the reception. I asked to check in for the room my brother had booked under his name. They refused to let me check in even with my IDs due to which I missed out on the 4th of July fireworks as I had to stay with my luggage. Secondly, when they gave me a room. This is what it was. Gave me a used room. Pathetic service and unappreciated attitude.
Would never stay at this place again rude and condecending employees, if I call down to issue a concern about the room, I should not be hung up on. The I go down to speak to person at desk at she is in her phone as I wait 5 minutes to get her attention. You need better employees. I think that employees name was kiki, that should give an idea of what type of employee she is. Sorry but I won’t ever come back to club quarters again.
One of the worst hotels ever. This hotel doesnt have a mini fridge, microwave, or your own iron. You have to share an iron with everyone on the same floor. Wouldnt be coming back here. I could of lived without the fridge or microwave because there are tons of places to eat around here, however, I would recommend investing in an iron for every room. There has been a couple of days where I had to wait till a fellow roommate on the same floor to finish ironing his/her clothes for me to iron mine. Pain in the neck.
Small but quiet rooms. Youre in the business district so expect empty streets at night and busy people going to work during the day. The metro station is right below the hotel around the corner. Theres a dunkin donuts, a McDonalds and some other small shops around. We recommend Pearls diner, which is 3-4 blocks east. The hotel has a bar which is ridiculously expensive for what it is. Dont even bother. Bathrooms are small but functional. Beds are comfy and staff is nice. Free MnM`s and gummy bears in the lobby, yay. Is there better hotels? Probably. But for 130$ a night I couldnt find any.
Great location to stay when visiting NYC! CQ does a great job of supplying refreshments and a morning snack on your way to the city. This includes a coffee maker available all day with your choice of (espresso, cappuccino, latte, coffee, w/ decaf options). The subway is very short walking distance and can get you to Central Park or Brooklyn in no time!
Just stayed in a 1 BR suite on Wall Street. Couldnt have been a better location. Overlooked Freedom Tower and memorial pools. Very thoughtfully put together. Everything you need. They dont nickel and dime you. Refreshments well stocked in lobby. Restaurant on site that overlooks the WTC with reasonable prices. Free self serve laundry service. Can ask for free yoga kit, stationary bike and good workout area. Overall, incredible value and wonderful location to WTC, Oculus, Battery Park.
Right in the heart of the financial district. NYSE is just steps away. Hamiltons family burial site is right up the street, history is all around you. Food is everywhere, this of course New York! A big shout out to Alicia Keys and Mr.Carter When your in New York, concrete jungle...The hotel was going through some construction, so some floor and carpet molding was missing, but I could forgive that. The front desk folks were spot on. One sore point, the air conditioner was way too noisy. If we can send spacecraft to Mars we can have quite air conditioners....
Stayed on Nov.26th night 2015, courteous staff, room we stayed was small, no fridge, or microwave in the room, but there was unlimited bottled water supply, room was very clean. Walking distant to one world center, 9/11 museum and observatory, as well as important places in NY Financial District.
Cheap Business hotel on Wall St. Good location but if you are on Business try to stay elsewhere, from the reception in the hall way to the lounge everything is tired and in need of renovation. The rooms are sized OK for NYC hotel but the beds are uncomfortable with starchy stiff sheets.
Worst Experience Ever !!! Have stayed in several hotels around the US but this one was heights of unprofessionalism ...I dont do reviews but this time I thought people should know that the staffs are rude (one in particular who seems to think that he works in Wall Street ..HAHA...) Our room was not ready until 6pm. We cooperated when asked to wait for 20 more minutes (although it was 3 hours past the check in time) but when we came back to check in this guy rudely said that the room was not going to get ready by our standing there ...That was when we realized he wanted to downplay us ...But sorry we were not there to listen...we talked to the manager the next morning, explained everything and she was apologetic on behalf of that guy and that is when we felt a little better... Never again at Club Quaters...We go to hotels to relax not to listen to the staffs !!!

2022-06-27They were kind enough to accommodate our early check-in and hold our luggage while we wandered the city. Unfortunately, the small queen room was not set up for 2 people (only 1 set of towels) and it took them half an hour to bring more up, despite us just wanting to go to bed. The bed was among the least comfortable Ive slept on at a hotel in some time. Im a side sleeper and I woke up every hour to my arm falling asleep. Theres no way to block the light from the large window, so if sleeping in is part of your plan, you can forget it. Low pressure shower only. AC works very well. Big TV. Keurig in room. Plenty of outlets, and a nice little desk for work. WiFi is decent. Its inexpensive, but I probably wont be back.

2022-06-11This hotel canceled my reservation without notice. No rebooking offered, no compensation paid. Stay away from this hotel, the management are fraudsters and deceivers.

2020-09-04Where do I begin. The service, the staff, and the whole experience was easily 5 stars! The rooms were spacious with high ceilings, huge comfortable beds and cable access. The staff are the definitions of professional and courteous. The area is very tourist friendly and there are ample space for parking. What else can I say but come for the time of your life!

2019-05-22We stayed 3 nights, room was great for 2 people. Its kind of snug. Desk area, super small fridge, and the restroom is kinda small but it works. Great location a few blocks from everything, there is a bar/restaurant next door. The hotel has a happy wine hour, and they also provide some snacks in the morning and coffee throughout the entire day. They also have water bottle stations you can fill your own or use the bottles they have there. Staff was friendly. They will also hold your bags after you check out in case you still need to do other things. Would stay again.

2019-10-10The staff here was really accommodating and friendly despite seeming overwhelmed with the volume of guests. I had an issue with my bank card and they were understanding enough to waive the $50 dollar incidentals fee - other places would have turned me away or required I leave my passport with them - even if the room was already paid in advance. Location is great, and the option to leave luggage at the hotel on the day you arrive or leave was helpful. You could tell that minor upgrades were made to the rooms - especially the washroom fixtures - but the shower was not up to par. The grout was sloppily done - if at all - which made it look dirty. Attention to detail here would have been a good idea. TV didnt work. And the heating/AC unit is very loud.

2019-11-09My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights in fall of 2019 and while adequate I would say this is really best for short solo trips. The rooms are very small, but the bed was comfortable. Not a ton of storage but the space is organized as well as they could manage. The TV Chromecast features worked quite well. Climate control worked fine. The bathroom does not have a door, which was not great for two people. In place of a door they have a sort of sliding panel that hangs in front of, but not against the doorframe. Ive included pictures. There is definitely no noise barrier (the toilet is quite loud), and heat and steam easily leaks into the rest of the room while showering. The shower itself worked well but the walls and floor were quite old and poorly maintained. The floor of the shower was poorly leveled and pooled water in one corner rather than draining. The staff at the front desk were able to get us checked in promptly and were very accommodating with an early check in time, but when we asked for extra towels it took two calls and two hours before anyone delivered them.

2019-07-22Very nice hotel. Walking distance to many attractions and shopping. Rooms are clean and updated. Friendly staff and good amenities, like free bottled water stations, snacks and wine every day. Also nice coffee station available 24 hrs. Only reason would not give 5 stars is due to the ac unit over bed that is too loud.

2019-03-09I stayed with them a few years back and I am still writing this review! The hospitality was so awesome that the stay alone made my visit to new york a memorable one. I could date my visit to Dec 2013.So, shout out to the superb front desk staff who were the star performers. Serving the customers (without the expectation of a tip) is a big win. I interacted with 4 front desk associates during my stay of 7 days and all of them were well-trained, polite and friendly. When they understood that I was new in the neighborhood, they made sure to share some tips and recommendations. I compare my every hotel stay with the high standards that Club Quarters set. Will be visiting soon!! :) Best!

2020-02-17It wasn’t the best 4 stars hotel we had. Yeah beds are cozy and comfy but you’ll hear your neighbors often because of poor room isolation and wall quality, cleaning is not on the top as we had a dirty carpet since we arrived. Staff is friendly. Don’t expect 4 stars from this hotel.
