They always have delicious hot food ready to go. Their produce seems like they grow it themselves because its leaps and bounds above every other local market. Also the dude working the counter is always in a great mood and its contagious lol
Food is usually good here for the price, made my trip in this morning and there was a roach running around the board closest to the beverages. I inconspicuously got the older womans attention behind the counter, so as not to let the other customers hear. She only nodded her head and continued ringing me up like it was a common occurrence and then continued on taking orders and walking around behind the counter. I then watched as it ran across the wall and into the kitchen. I will never eat anything from here again.
Just recently found out about this place and its great! The food is always made amazing, the staff is nice and courteous and they have tons of fresh food and lots of amazing hard to find beverages, candies and other foods you wont see in the regular supermarket. So awesome!! :)
My frequent mostly enjoyable breakfasts, lunches, and dinners will be diminished to zero after today. First and foremost I can deal with the third time they ran out of a culcuts by 9am i truly can. I dealt with the wrong sandwich order two seperate occasions in one week. I dealt with getting 99 cents back instead of a dollar. People make mistakes and the the Owners of this Spanish bottega always helped, apologized and appreciated the Americans business. HOWEVER they allow their extremely opinionated daughter to speak freely while ringing people up. Her views on customer satisfaction are absolutely zero. I ask for a few extra napkins as im driving with my order, she yells theyre already in the bag gives them anyway. 2nd time i asked as I had their homeade donuts she said napkins already in the bag u dont need any more. Wowww ok, well 1 napkin was in the bag (i didnt say a word i walked out). Ok fine but today no way folks she was downright disrespectful. Yelling in a stuck up manor its not my fault we sold out of ham, just pick something else. Not even a sorry Sir. Then i say if that keeps happening it will hurt business. She replied doesnt matter new people come in every day. I explain that my 40/60 a week in here adds up ill go somewhere else if it keeps happening. Well the icing on the cake have a nice life wowww again.. I left astonishingly in disbelief. I asked around town today with whoever i ran into and everyone had a nasty story about her. Short, obese, arrogant and down right disrespectful. I suggest staying far away from this deli. The location was key for me , the spanish food great, the American sandwiches horrendous. Good luck hopefully the Owners see this and mend the situation so i can attend once again to a better atmosphere and the spanish food i enjoy!!

First time there. Home cooked food, cant beat it. Was in there at 630 Saturday morning , was taken back by the selection of the food that was being served. Will be going back👍👍👍

2021-11-10Came here for a birthday dinner with a party of 10. It was a pretty small restaurant but we all fit at a large table in the back. The waiters were all super friendly and took great care of us!

2021-11-18I have ordered here a couple times and every time its been delicious!! Staff is friendly, wish the the space was a bit bigger. I have tried their zaatar and salmon muffins and both were yummy and fulfilling. Their iced coffee drinks, horchata and rose bud, are also yummy!!

2021-10-02....oh my lord. Order the pancake pot pie and youll be giving this place 5 stars every time! We ordered a pitcher of mimosas which was 4 glasses for EACH of us at 25 dollars (8 glasses total) . Highly recommend Ellens, at least for breakfast!

2018-03-24Another Deli bites the bodega dust. Egg Sandwich was gross, way to much ketchup, forgot to add the cheese, and the roll tasted like how the placed smelled, which was not so good. Will never return, I should of read the roach review prior to going in.

2021-10-27The food here is exceptional and drinks are really good too! Recommend the toro tataki. Great place to go to catch up with friends. The ambiance is also nice and the service is great, theyll even play you a bday song on your bday.

2021-10-08I am from miami and came across this place from an Instagram page. Due to the pandemic I wasnt able to make up here for almost a year but it was worth the wait. This pizza place is a small shop on the corner. Limited space inside but they do have covered outdoor seating. They do not serve alcohol but right across the street is a shop that sells beer.

2020-02-21Family run deli. Hot food was fresh and delicious. The chicken wings that they have are really seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of heat. If youre in the area I would definitely recommend this place.
