2020-07-23Sometimes the small store is a jackpot. From the start, David and Moses were informative and patient during the sales process. The measurement was accurate. The price was much better than Home Depot and Empire, and we even got a higher quality grade of carpet. The installers were Chris and Vincente. They showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently. It was clear that they had years of experience. The carpet looks beautiful and I recommend this store highly!

2020-08-29I called before and spoke to Moses. were in the preliminary stage and will need to purchase carpet for installation within the month. This has to do with co-ops and/or apartments requiring carpets so we got to buy it. I did request a price for measuring for the carpet and they told me there was no charge. no charge but they will take a deposit that means that if they measure you got to buy it from them. That was a bit disingenuous but thats okay Thats kind of how all carpet retailers are. I also indicated that I wanted prices separately for carpet for padding for installation and delivery. Plain and simple Thats the only way to get a true idea of what each thing cost one thing everything together is a way for all kinds of hidden costs to be lumped in there. Overall this is a nice little carpet store and Moses was very friendly. Moses has been there like 20 years and the store itself has been there at least that long if not longer with the same owner.

2021-01-08I had a bad experience with rainbow carpet. First off , they overcharged me. I paid $650 for a job that was worth no more than $ 300. (I was told by another carpet store). Secondly, no punctuality, not only they arrived late, 2 hours after the accorded time, but as soon as they set foot in my house they harassed me to make the final payment on the agreement. They said “they store is waiting for you to call to make the payment, they need to close.” I remind you, they had not even started working yet. I wouldn’t recommend.

2020-08-08I gave myself some time to reflect about the experience i had. I bought carpet here about 3 years and had a great experience, but my second time around was a bait and switch experience that i feel was unethical. I had a fire in my apartment complex and required new padding and carpet and requested the same that i had previously purchased. We got the carpet we paid for, but did not receive the padding we paid for, which was a mohawk brand. The owner told us that the padding he sent us was the same density, but i stated it was not what we paid for nor did it have the waterproof sealing or the same qualitty as the mohawk padding. The installers even commented to us that the padding they brought wasnt even remotely as nice as our previous padding. It was a friday during the installation and the owner basically told us to take it or leave it and he would resolve the issue by monday, which would have left us nowhere to sleep in our house as all our furniture occupied the other rooms. The installers said there was some waterproof padding at the store and went to go get it, but again it was not the padding we ordered. I called another carpet company to ask if all padding of the same density were equal in quality and they told me it was not, while the rainbow carpet owner kept insisting it was all the same if they were the same density. I did not get any refund in the price differential of the padding that was installed and the mohawk padding i paid for. I will NEVER do business here again. I just wanted what i paid for.
