Stopped in for lunch and had a great experience at this restaurant. The food appetizers were on point, very well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The staff was super nice and quick to handle everything. The AYCE menu was very good and the portions of protein to rice ratio was perfect which I find is hard to find at an AYCE place. The price was very good considering the amount of food you get. In summation, this is the place to go! Stop in for lunch and leave with a full belly so you can keep your day going. They also have the price breakdown for kids and adults so if you want bring the whole family. Tasty, Perfectly cooked at a great price. Not much more to ask for. Highly recommend!
One of the worst sushi place I have ever been!!!Too much wait time, staff is so mean kind of racist too, because she was speaking nice to those Chinese customers and kind of giving me an attitude which I don’t like. And I asked the lady to make leftover food to wrap it up to go, she said it’s $4 and I left my food at the table. I’m not cheap person but this is unacceptable because nowhere does that but this place. I left $5tip on the card even though I get treated bad plus I didn’t wanted to make them ran after me asking for tip. I always tip no less than $10 but they don’t even deserve any. They should learn to respect and don’t come up with additional fees to make more money, you guys just wasting too much food because not everyone can pay additional fees to take leftover foods to go!
When they had a lunch menu, this place was a good value. Now its just a decent place to go occasionally if youre too lazy to drive far from the neighborhood. There are other places with similar cost that have all you can eat sashimi included. This location gives you only 3 sashimi per person. They charge you for drinks. They charge you for tea. Most of the rolls have too much rice and too much avocado and too much filler to avoid putting in more fish. Some of the food suffers for it. Just ok.
Best all you can eat sushi in NYC (maybe America, maybe the world). Variety of choices is unmatched! We start off with the sashimi appetizers, eel/tuna/red snapper/scallop a la carte, several special rolls and the best appetizers (kalbi, shrimp shumai, fried tuna dumplings, beef negimaki, etc). Make sure to end the meal with fried bananas for dessert!
I came here because Daizen has shut down in favor of an ala carte sushi spot. Im glad I did. Although the lunch is gone, ayce dinner is still available at all hours. The sushi was really good; a couple choices were very small bites. The miso soup was excellent and the wide variety of rolls was great. I splurged for the tempura ice cream and was glad I did (get the green tea ice cream if you havent experienced it yet!). Aside from a couple other jerk customers, this was a great trip and Ill definitely be back for more!
Right away I want to say the service was AMAZING - the water was filled fast without me asking, the extra sheets of menu were given promptly, the orders were coming from the kitchen fast! But I am giving only 2 start because the food lacked flavor and was dull - everything was bland and tasted the same. I am not a picky eater, but I did not see much taste difference between the rolls or appetizers.
It was really delicious. Due to me not having a big appetite that day, I kind of had to pay for the food I didn’t finish. But, everything was delicious and melted in your mouth. I recommend the tako yaki because it was so warm and crunchy and creamy. The shrimp tempura was surprisingly soft inside, not as crunchy as you’d expect shrimp to actually be, but it was still so good. The soup was a bit bland for my taste, but my bf loved it, saying it was perfect. Overall, I 100% recommend going!!!And they also have a lot of varieties of drinks that are called “virgin” meaning non-alcoholic. So you can get a drink that’s meant to have alcohol, without the alcohol 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️
I had tired a lot of AYCE sushi in Brooklyn and this one was okay. The staff were very nice and didn’t charge extra on the filling of left over rice or sushi because a few raw fish had a spoiled taste to it (like it was a bit sour... and I think they saw me and friend reaction to it badly while eating about 6 sushi).
The place feels clean, service is attentive, they just need to smile a bit, great selection with unlimited ikura sushi, 2 uni sushi per person, but dont expect normal size. Certain pieces have more rice than other like, when ordering scallops and mackerel sushi. Some regular roll like salmon and yellowtail are wrapped with rice, seaweed, rice than fish rather than the usual seaweed, rice than fish. The cook food are tasty, love the spicy mussels, shrimp tempura, but the fry oyster have no oyster taste. Fish are generally fresh, uni taste are a bit different, includes free soda.
I loveeee Rakuzen!!! I have spent two birthdays there and my boyfriend and I always get really excited before we go. Fantastic and fresh fish, super sweet and attentive staff and awesome green tea and green tea ice cream. I cant wait until indoor dining resumes and we can go again.
Ordered to tonkatsu ramen and sushi from here. The noodles literally taste like instant noodles, the egg wasn’t boiled it was fried and the pork is made Chinese style. No Japanese style here. The sushi is not great. Should’ve expected it since the price I paid was a lot cheaper and also considering it’s a buffet. Quality of food is not up to par if you’re looking for good ramen. I’ve could’ve made this at home to be honest. You get what you paid for so just a heads up.
All you eat lunch and dinner. Lunch menu contain option than dinner. Dinner cost $22.99.Id recommend making a table reservation During dinner hours, the place gets incredibly packed! It took about 6 minutes after seated for us to get water.Unlimited soda! Thai ice tea wasnt too sweet and not eligible for refills.French fries were crispy, similar to McDonalds. Seaweed salad was freshSpicy Kani salad was slightly spicy and dry. The spicy kani salad consist of wonton crisp, kani, and I believe cucumber.Order fried rice last, the Indonesian fried rice was amazing and filled me up.They offer fried bananas but NOT ice cream.
Okay don’t know where to start but here is where it all went wrong. We place our first small order of 7 rolls and 2 appetizers we waited little over 20 min to get the first plate of appetizers and then another 17 min for our rolls to come. (We had to ask our waiter about our order). But no complaint on the waiting time as it can get busy but it was a bit frustrating when we was missing couple of rolls. Anyways we order the stuff that was missing from the previous order and add on our new order. The wait was another 20 min. And again we are missing some items. We ask the waitress and she takes our orders verbally but we were just giving her a general idea of what we checked off on the list. So she came back with dumplings made of pork which we didn’t order but she said we told her “dumplings” so she thought regular dumplings. Also 2 other items were missing. So at this point we realized our slip weren’t being read at all. At our third attempt we also ordered couple of items and some items came more in quantity than written. And then again our kani salad was missing also our chicken tempura never came from our first, second and third order. It was a mess. But on the bright side the waitress were nice but customer service wasn’t up to bar. Also the food was good. We finally gave up after the 3rd order as we didn’t know if the wait was worth it when most items wouldn’t show up.
Sizeable outdoor dining area with really well spaced tables (the walls are solid but there are open windows and doorways for airflow). The sushi quality was good not great and the size of the menu was very solid for ayce. If youre covid cautious and looking for an outdoor situation, I recommend this spot.
Amazing food and drinks! The ramen was my favorite but everything was delicious and the food was served quickly and consistently. The staff answered all of our questions and were very friendly. The restaurant is new, clean and beautiful. They have a repeat customer here, for sure!
The dinner menu has significantly more options than the lunch (i.e. special roles, uni, ikura, sashimi), and I thought the quality of the food was good for the price. Lunch, on multiple occasions, was a little disappointing however. I wanted to really like it given the lower price, but the quality of everything seems lower at lunch time (including the rice).
Came to this place eager to try the food but was overly disappointed. The Ordering:Theres 3 sheets of paper you can use to order from, though they might give you more if they see youre not ordering much. For me, after giving them the third sheet, the manager or owner said after this you can not order more, your time is up. Theres two things that confuses me. No where on the ordering paper states a time limit but Ill let that slide as typical ayce sushi restaurants are two hours but heres the the second thing, I was in there for a hour and fifteen mins! I know the exact time from sending a text message upon being seated. The place was not packed as there were empty tables around me.The Food:The sushi here are bite sized, much smaller than the typical sushi you get at other places. From my first order, they were already missing items and I didnt even order a lot since I was hungry and just wanted some food fast to eat and then decide on the second order. During the second order, I ordered the same items that never came during the first order and a few other new items. Some food items yet again was missing along with the same items from the first order. The final order was where the manager or owner said I couldnt order anymore afterwards. The third order was by far the worst, only two of the five items I selected came. What a shame.Overall:Service was very friendly and attentive. Some doesnt speak much English but thats what the paper ordering is for. Soda was replenished often. Food is good if you receive all that you ordered. If the same manager or owner I spoke about sees you ordering more than six items per sheet, theyll glare at you throughout the whole service.
I did not like this place. We came here as a group to have sushi and although the food was good, I feel that it was not worth it even for all you can eat. There is not much of a variety. It was also really expensive surprisingly. Drink wise there also is not much of a variety. Extremely uncomfortable seats and the atmosphere is very dingy. Wont recommend.
Had a great first time. Went there for brunch and was second customer when we arrived. The price was worth for the food they served. Its all you can eat, so many choices of the sashimi and most important they have uni in the selections. Of course, we ate so much. Will prob going back there in a few months.
Bad service, very small portions and insolent waiters. My husband found hair in sushi and we decided not to leave a tip, but the waitress approached us and began pointing with a finger that we should leave a tip. I said that we did not like the service, but she did not leave until we left all 17 $ tips.We did not ate at all, only had a bite and spoiled our mood.
Its not bad but when having ayce they usally put a lot of rice and less fish in the sushi so u will get full faster. They dont offer all u can eat sashimi like some places do but the quality of the sushi wasnt bad just too much rice. I feel like there are better sushi places out there and this one is just so so
Wow they are super crowded. As usual, their food is delicious. I always go for eel, octopus, tuna. I avoid that spicy whatever roll. It is errr not my thing and I love spicy food. Then staff is nice. The buffet has unlimited refill for drinks so that is a plus. Just make sure you finish your food so they dont charge you extra for wasting their food.
This restaurant has the worst service ever. The manager is very rude and not welcoming. My family and I asked her how much would it be to pay for extra sushi and she was very rude with her response. She told us if we can’t finish our food to not come back again. Don’t expect for the manager to ever be kind with you. The waitresses also give lots of attitude when you ask for things.
It was okay. On the day that I was there, the sushi came in random order and the rice was dry. It not that it wasnt fully cooked, but it was dry to the feel, normally shushi rice should have a hint of acidic flavor and rice should pop when chewing on them, but this was far from the case on my visit. Like most all you can eat, sushi anything thing is packed with rice to fill you up, sometimes its all you taste.Overall its average all across the board and the price is right, so its a good place to stuff your belly up with a bunch of friends and not kill your wallet.
The absolute best place in Brooklyn for ALL YOU CAN EAT sushi, plus a full menu of so many items that are all delicious. I moved out of Brooklyn last year, but whenever I have a need to be in Brooklyn, one of my planned stops is to have all my favorite dishes at Rakuten Ayce. The food is fresh and delicious, the restaurant is spotlessly clean, prices are very reasonable and the staff is so friendly. I would consider this a MUST GO TO PLACE if you like sushi, or love it as I do.My whole family is from Brooklyn and today is my granddaughter Hailey’s birthday, guess where my granddaughter decided she wants to go for her birthday dinner ? Yep, Rakuten for sushi, it’s one of her favorite places to eat at.I promise you will NOT be disappointed by the experience you’ll have if you visit this place for a meal. Hope you’ll try it soon. ENJOY !!!!
Terrible food! Sushi didn’t taste good. The marinara sauce was spoiled. The Kani salad was super dry and tasted weird. Once I saw the food I threw it right out, will never purchase from here again! If it were possible I would’ve given 0 stars, it was THAT bad, save your money and avoid this place!
The spicy kani salad was the worst I ever ate and the presentation was bad. They stacked the spicy kani salads on top of each other and it wasnt even spicy and had legit no taste or sauce. Also while I was eating the sushi, the rice of the rolls was falling apart from the slightest of touch. I recommend to never go get any of their special rolls since it usually has some weird stuff in it. i.e the super shrimp tempura roll had bananas in it which tasted awful combined with shrimp tempura and spicy crabmeat.TL;DRDont eat here. Food sucks
Very rude people here, from the moment I walked in they were rude, forgot to bring my orders, the food was horrible, they split mussels in half while hiding it in sauce, shrimps were cut in pieces in my noodles so can look like there are many shrimps when there weren’t. Everyone was rude, I have been to many restaurants but this is by far the worst. Do not ever go to this restaurant!
Holy for an all you can eat sushi place, their appetizers are crack! Try every appetizer if you can especially the empanadas. None the less the sushi is also very good, try their specialty rolls, 10/10 would go againAlso don’t eat all the rice with the sushi, they put ode, cut it in half and you’ll be Gucci
I completely understand that this is a tough period for literally every business owner to make a living. I love the service provided to me as I went to the place for the first time today since pandemic, but it wouldve been much appreciable that they have clarify as I walked in that they are now serving dinner price for the whole day, which is 22.99 ( I went in for lunch, which cost 11.99) and specify on the ordering sheet as well.
I was so disappointed today after coming here for sushi for the past three years. i decided to order for delivery and after a whole hour i decided to call because my food has not come yet. the lady who picked up the phone call said she never received an order when on the website it said my order was confirmed and my food is in the making. i got so flustered and questioned myself if i ordered from the wrong restaurant. five to ten minutes after the call the delivery guy came. it was a weird confusing stressful experience. not to mention they charged me $10.27 for delivery fee and service…. PLUS TIPS. when i got the food they gave me the thinnest slices of sashimi and missed a piece for the salmon. i don’t believe i’m going to order from here nor eat here again sadly. do better rakuzen
EXTREMELY GOOD all you can eat sushi plus more.A lot of AYCE sushi places Ive been to give too much rice and skimp out on the fish. This place makes sure you get enough rice with a good helping of the fish you order.Their appetizers are all seriously good, Ive gone their 3 times and all 3 times Ive loved all of what I got.My definite favorite maki to get there is the salmon lover, they really bless you with an amazing salmon on top of salmon roll. Its AMAZING!My only recommendation to this place is that they allow you to have more Sashimi as some of their best sushi is only once per visit.
A previous reviewer said The woman who owns or managers the restaurant is loud and obnoxious! I will never go back. This is so true. This lady, whether manager or owner - i think owner, is loud, rude and just horrible service. So what if a customer have a few piece left over. It is not like your going to lose money. Good service = returning customers. This lady need to tune it down.Anyway, the food IMO is okay. Nothing to rave about. Not a huge sushi fan. I did come to this spot a few times because it is close and because friends requested to come here. The few times I did come, the owner was loud and rude. She had an argument with a friend of mine when we had a gathering of over 20 people, many kids. They spoke Mandarin which I did not understand but it has to do with pricing and kids price. It was crazy. If you come here you can find her right away, loud, rude, and doesnt smile. It seems like her spot is the only one in Brooklyn.I personally wont come here because of the bad service from this lady.Sometimes you pick service over taste of food. You want to feel welcome and be comfortable. The wait staff are nice, friendly and works quickly.
The sushi is mostly okay but the service is terrible. I ordered sushi that was just not good, tasted extremely fishy so I left that roll after eating one piece and told them it’s not good. Their response was to say you still have to pay extra for not eating and then started YELLING when I said that I won’t pay an extra charge for a roll that wasn’t good. The manager is EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL and doesn’t have any idea about customer service. Although their food is mostly okay, I would really pass on this place to avoid getting yelled at by the manager if you don’t like one of their sushi rolls
Updating this review from a 5 to a 1 star. Their all you can eat is horribble. There was 7 of us, i ordered rolls, then my 2nd order was sushi pieces. The waitress came back and said, are you sure you can finish this?. Like itss all you can eat... And i told her yes, but they seemed to have had a had a heart attack. That being said, they took 35 mins to bring my second order. Which brought me to an hour for just 2 papers. I was ordering my final order and the waitress says last call, i was surprised. She said 90 minutes limit and the store was half empty. Long story short, put all your order in the first time because its not all you can eat if they take 30 mins per order. It forces u to place ur whole order the first time because they take forever. I have been to over 30 all you can eat sushi places, and was never told such, or waited over 30 mins for each order. Horrible!
Very bad experience here... the food was spoiled and tasted very sour. After asking for the manger she said that you must pay for all that you didn’t eat plus your bill. I agreed to pay the bill but not the food we didn’t eat since I was already doing them a favour by paying for the trash food we ate. She threatened to call the police and was extremely rude. She said everyone makes that excuse when they don’t want to pay . Even though I clearly told her I will pay my bill. 0 star rating and extremely rude people. Definitely lost my business here .
Their food was just okay 👌 but the service is poor quality. They will give you order menu to choose from but you wont be able to get what you ordered. They say you choosed many from the menu because they are claiming that I can not eat that much. However their portions are very small amount except the soups and any kind of rice. I WAS SURPRISED HOW COME YOU GIVE PEOPLE BIG SIZE OF RICE AND SOUP WHILE ALL OTHER FOOD WAS VERY SMALL AMOUNT. I felt like they trapped me because they thought that if I can rice and soup I will be full and rest of my order will be garbage and this way they would charge me extra for left over food. But I did not gave them this chance and I finished all of my food. They were surprised too and understood how pig I am. This is all you can eat place but they are manipulating how much to eat. After all you feel underpressure and dont want to come back again. If you can not handle all you can eat type of restaurant than change it to regular restaurant. It was very unpressional that your stuff gave me direction about how much I can eat. The amount of rice and soup you served was redicilous if I compare to other food you served. That was the trick rice and soup. Good luck...
The quality of the fish is not really good. They give good fish when you get the sashimi appetizer, which is limited to one prefer per person. But when you get the sushi, the quality is not good. Sake sushi on 86 st is much better quality fish. I would not come eat here again.
I would not recommend this place because I ordered 5 boxes of sushi and only received 2! The food was also very plain and I have eaten better sushi at other places. I payed a lot of money for the sushi and I couldn’t check if they got my whole order because it was night time and I was in a rush. Don’t recommend this place.
Me and my wife saw the rating for this place was good. So we tried it and we wish we never did. This place serves poor quality and unfresh sashimi. I only had a few bites and instantly I knew something was wrong. I told the manager about the issue. She said: if you dont finish your food we will have to charge you 10 dollars extra. If the food was good we wouldnt mind pay extra 20. But how can you force someone to eat something that was unhealthy. First time in my life I had food poisoning, and it last it 4 days.
Good food, great appetizers, and fast service. Just dont over order as they are very serious about you eating everything you ordered. Prices are fair when you consider the variety of made to order food you are able to order for one flat fee. Dont forget to tip your waiters reasonably, they work hard getting all those orders right and bringing all the plates back and forth.
Service was very good. The waitresses were extremely friendly. The restaurant wasnt overly decorated. The sushi was also very delicious. The food took a while because the place was busy, but the wait was definitely worth it. The price isnt too expensive either since it is all you can eat sushi.
The manager was extremely nasty, we ordered food for two they picked and choose what to give us, she gave us and when asked for the rest of the order you want more order through the menu and pay more.Waited an extra 15 min and they just ignored us and said do you want you check? They charged us $50 for on 1 kani salad, seaweed salad, pickles and 2 sushi rolls. Is this meal worth $50??Managers last words to me was “customer think you everything I don’t care about you I’m busy here anyways, you no like don’t come no more”Worst service ever!!!!
I have been here a few time over the past 3 years and the quality of the food has diminished in my opinion. the tuna was dyed and had a slight iron/tinny taste. it was borderline but edible. the coke was off in flavor. not sure if it was the carbonated water, or the syrup was expired same with the Sierra mist. it didnt not taste like it should. The salmon pieces were only ok. wasnt the freshest or great tasting as I have had. previous times these particular items were pretty good and I would have given them either 4 or 5 stars. To give them the benefit of the doubt, instead of 2 stars, Im giving them 3 for now. I hope your experience is better than mine.
It was absolutely amazing! The food was great as well as the services. I went during the busy hours and the servers were able to accommodate everyone. The food was suitable for people who likes sushi, and they also have dishes that are not sushi related for those who are not a big fond of sushi. I like how the style of furniture is chosen to fit everyone. The simple designs makes it very comfortable. Overall I would recommend for anyone to go, even if you may not like sushi. P.s. I wasnt a fan of sushi before until I started to try the different varieties out. - Try it before you judge it.
Service is great. Interior is homey. If youve been to sake in bensonhurst, you know its hectic and it feels like your meal is rushed. This place is more relaxing. Food overall is not as nice as sake but its good. Dont take it the wrong way. Sake and their fish portioning is better. Rakuzen has ramen though. If I wanted to be chill with a group or with family while enjoying sushi Id come here. If I literally am eating with 1 or 2 people only, then probably sake.
Rakuzen saved our Christmas Eve after another restaurant nearby refused to honor the reservation we made! This place is amazing and we had an amazing time! Food is amazing and they send it all out at an impressive speed! I couldn’t eat fast enough! Merry Christmas! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽❤️❤️❤️🎄🎄🎄
Great service and food. this is a all you can eat place where u can order as much as u want for 1 price, based on per person. in my opinion, the top rolls r the chicken tempura, little hen and 8 Avenue roll. the pork gyoza is excellent. fried banana is a good one as well for a dessert.
I went there for the first time, it was terrible, we order around thirty pieces of salmon, but they have us 22 pieces, we ordered around 20 the next time and they gave us 16 pieces. The last time we ordered, we ordered 10 pieces, and they just never served our salmon at all. When we asked the servers, they glared at us and told us they never received the paper. We tried ordering the hot dishes, their calamari is like eating hot Cheerios, they were smaller than any calamari youve ever seen. Also their free refilled soda, is water with food coloring. The soda is diluted to the point where it has no taste. Overall, I had a terrible experience. Seating was nice though.
The service was nice and friendly. I mainly came for the appetizers, which were mostly fried. They have a wide variety to choose from such as tempura, teriyaki, soups, salads, noodles, rice, and my favorite rock shrimp. The fish in their sushi didnt taste fishy and their sea urchin was pretty sweet and brighter than that of other restaurants Ive been to, and thats a good enough for me to give it 5 stars.
This is an all you can eat sushi restaurant. They charge lower price for lunch but less items; for instance, no sashimi at lunch. The food is fresh BUT the fish meat is not of an excellent quality. Also, they put ridiculously small pieces of fish meat in the sushi rolls to the extent sometimes you dont even feel its taste. The three times I dined there, every time I ordered I didnt get everything I ordered. There was always few items missing. If you go for dinner, you can order only one sashimi and the portion is ridiculously small. In comparison to other all you can eat sushi, this restaurant is way behind in the competition. Not planning to go there again.
Have been craving the AYCE style since Covid began. This place provides this in the Covid time period with Outdoor seating protected from the wind and rain. Note because of covid they offer their AYCE at dinner price during lunch time which is 22.99 per adult. Service was quite fast despite being on the busy side which was nice.
They were great the first time I went, the food was good , the waitresses were nice, well at least for the price that they were charging. so I decided to go again just a couple days later, its was a busy night, the food was still nice, but the service wasnt all that good, I was placed in a corner where Harel anybody attended me and when they took my order they brought my food out almost all in one shot as if I hey needed me out the door asap. I guess if you do like sushi and want it at a low price you should go here, just remember not to go on a busy day or in a small party.
The AYCE is definitely a reason why I came here for lunch. Food is decent, the sushi is good. However, I did find the service unwelcoming, hence the 2 star rating. One of our waitress was rude. I found a piece of hair on my sushi and at first thought it might have been mine but upon closer examination, the hair was embedded inside the sushi, quite obvious. It wasnt a hair that fell on top but it was coming from inside the roll. I alerted the waitress and she accused me that it was my hair that fell on top. I told her to look closely that the hair was inside the sushi, she pulled the hair out and said Its fine, Ill take away the dish. The only reason I alerted her was because there is a charge for unfinished food since its an AYCE. Not sure if I will come back here.
This is literally the worst place i have ever eaten! They have an “All you can eat” menu. I went when they first opened with two other adults and a child of 12years. the three of us ordered from the all you can eat menu but the child didn’t want anything other than a thai iced tea. Her father gave her a taste of something and they went ballistic . The woman at the front Shouted “no sharing!” Ok, fair enough, I can understand that if they get people trying to share. Today i went there with my granddaughter and ordered from the “all you can eat” menu. My granddaughter ordered alacarte. I left 3 pieces of sushi and some rice and they wanted to charge me for my leftovers!Has anyone heard of an “all you can eat” restaurant charging for leftovers? A chinese woman came over screaming at me! Unbelievable! of course i refused to pay for my leftovers and she basically accused me of gluttony! Aside from the food being sub par- the staff are rushed and a bit curt. Don’t bother eating here! It’s not worth it!The woman who owns or managers the restaurant is loud and obnoxious! I will never go back. I never leave negative reviews but my experience here was so outrageous I felt obligated to warn others.
This place never ceases to amaze and satisfy me. On a whim, I tried the spicy beef empanada. It was a penned-in item on the menu, but I was quite surprised at how good it was. The dough was nice and flaky, not soft or mushy. Inside, the beef was seasoned just enough that I could taste beef and not just spicy seasoning. I could have eaten a whole order by myself, but there were other items ordered, so I had to refrain myself from overeating!
I went for the experience and to spend some time with family but it was a very awful experience. Since it’s all you can eat they will let you starve as they hardly want to bring you the food. Worst, they brought whatever and in tiny portions. I kept asking who ordered for this and we all gave up and ate it. I left very hungry with a bill of almost $200 for small family. The waitress service was also traumatizing. She was very judgmental looking and not a smile or kind word. She looked annoyed while we struggled to understand chinese language, she did not offer any assistance where that was concerned and I felt she enjoyed us being confused and weary. Sadly they are very tight with their ‘all you can eat’ and the services a disgrace
This Pakistani restaurant has a similar setting as I have seen in other Pakistani restaurant. You order at a counter and get served at a table. The chef has chosen not to add as much spices as normal which make the food very tasty. I like the place, thr food and the owner, a very social guy. I will recommend this place to my friends as well as I recommend it to you.
I heard great things about this restaurant that is why I went from nj to eat there. I was very impressed. The staff were great and very accommodating. The service was amazing too. My sister accidentally spilled her drink and the waiter was there the next second with a small tray and towel and helped clean her up.
It was alright, Daizen might be a better option if youre in this area. I give it a 3 star not because of the food but because of missing sushi dishes. The ServiceThe wait for sushi is super long, even though my party was the only two there. (The whole store had like 6 guest during the time) estimate wait time for food serving is 15-20 minutes. The sushi store also doesnt seem that well prepared, they didnt carry calamari during the time and it took a while for us to find out since it didnt come out after 45 minutes so we asked and found out. Overall the waiters were really nice, just the fact that they were unprepared and long serving times kills it.The FoodThe food is actually great. The sushi are relatively small, they are very similar to daizen. The handrolls are really good, sushi rolls are a bit weird, mostly advocado. The sushi waa okay, the salmon didnt look like it was cut properly, so it looked sketchy. Like daizen, they have free soda so this is great! Their lunch menu is relatively small compared to other sushi stores, the price however is relatively cheaper. If i didnt remmeber wrong its 12.19 per person.
Food was very good. Service much to be desired. Other peoples food was passed in front of me several times. Waited over a half hour for the entree. Then when I brother to their attention they said we received the food which was not true. Then the next excuse was oh well everything is made to order. I will never go there again!!!!
It was only so so for my experience. The day I went for lunch, I tried some appetizers in the beginning. However, the way they made on Stir Fried Soba and French Fries were too oily just like water. Some sushi rolls had been falling apart before I tried to put into my mouth. They even forgot to serve two dishes for us after waiting long enough. I reminded them to check with the kitchen. I know they could do a better job than this!
Food: 5* Greats food in great variety. All you can eat buffet. Better than most if not all the other Sushi buffets in Brooklyn.Service: 5* Very accomodating. Keeps up with all your needs. Refills your drink often.Prices: 5* Reasonally priced. Drinks are free. Smaller lunch menu at $13.99 per person and dinner at $21.99 per person with a significantly larger menu option. Kids eat for less. Cash only though.Cons: The chairs are a bit narrow so clamps on you. If you have wider hips like me go for the benches instead.
Its a good sushi buffet place, similar to that of the other sushi buffet places near by (example: daizen and sake). The style in ordering is the same, where you check off the rolls and dishes you want and then hand the menu paper to the server. My most recent time coming to this place was okay, except for how the salmon didnt seem cold enough... the texture was a lot mushier than raw salmon should be... but overall there wasnt much problems with the food. However it did take them a while before serving us our food, and they messed up some of our orders... o.o
Small place, always crowded and busy, but very fast service. Came here on a Saturday night for $21.99 ACYE dinner with free soda. Ordered off an extensive menu of all the usual maki/hand rolls plus specialty rolls, sushi, kitchen entrees/appetizers (teriyaki, katsu, tempura, udon, rice, etc...kalbi steak and fried shumai were my favorites), soups, and salads. Sashimi was limited to 1 order per person, each order with 4 thin slices. Not the best Japanese food, but good quality for what you pay for as a cheap ACYE. No parking lot/garage, but plenty of metered parallel and back-in parking at Leif Ericsson Park right nearby.
OMG soooooooooo good! I came at around 6pm something and they get busy after about 7pm. First time at a place like this and its not a typical AYCE, so I got confused a bit with the ordering system. Also a bit hard to understand, but I didnt too much of have a problem communicating with the very nice staff. Anyway, you pay once and order as many times as you want using the menus until youre full or youve been there about an hour and a half. Order as little or as much as you want each time. The portions are just right and you can have a lot of different Asian food types for one price, even one of everything on the menu if you can stomach that much. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is cause I didnt get all of my last order. I didnt know about the time limit, but I actually didnt mind too much cause I might not have finished it all anyway and I left very satisfied. Very full. I would very much recommend Rakuzan to everyone! Please visit and eat here!
This is another all you can eat buffet place. There are several things that I like and dislike.Like: Miso soup. They put some special ingredients make it taste little different with other miso soup; Spicy Kani salad. The crunchy things they put on the top of the salad make it tastier. Waitress are fast, they can see whenever you need something.Dislike: Music. Some kinds of teenager meaningless songs. The appetizers are all good, unfortunately the sushi are nothing special.Lunch buffet is $14.99 including free soda. Its always good to have free soda, but dont expect it has a high quantity.
This is my 1st time ordering from this place. I had a pickup order and got the salmon teriyaki lunch bento box since the price was good. It came with so much food salmon teriyaki, California rolls, shumai, soup and salad. It was so filling I couldnt finish it all and had to finish the rest later. The food was delicious and just the right amount of sauce. The lady over the phone was nice & helpful.
Another all you can eat spot. For those familiar with daizen over by 8th Ave they are the same owners. Menus and options are plentiful. I just go for scallops and salmon sushi and their cooked portion is the kalbi steak. I go every so often with friend but never take pictures. The service can be slow at prime time so that cant be helped
First time and last time also(NEVER AGAIN!!!)we going there around 3:26! And ask for dinner, the food was dry! Don’t even ask how old was my kids! And starting overcharged! Don’t even change our plate till the last minute! Terrible service terrible food!!! It’s just waste money!

2022-06-06My friends and I got the all you can eat and the food came out quickly. The service was also great, and the staff was patient and answered any questions that we asked. Would definitely recommend to people looking to try some sushi at a good price.

2021-09-01Sushi buffets were good enough to fulfill tummy: good quality sushi and tasty appetizer and rolls. The only thing that I want is a sashimi buffet, but this place limit only one piece per 1 customer and only 1 round that made me disappointed.

2022-03-15The all you can eat sushi is worth it and tasty. I like how they have so many sushi options to choose from and a extra menu that details what are the sushi ingredients.

2022-05-22I went there on May 21st, 2022 to have my lunch, and it was terrible.Nobody checks our temperature and I didnt see them checking anyone. And there are many people, so obviously there will not have a safe distance of 6 feet. It is concerning to have indoor eating there during pandemics. Also, there is a bug in the soy sauce and they didnt apologize or compensate when we told them. Lack of attitude! The sushi is not bad. some of the nori taste like chewing papers. No free drink but refills are available. It is an all-day AYCE price of $26.99 per person.Overall, I was very very disappointed. It definitely did not worth the price. I will not go to this AYCE anymore.

2022-03-16The service was bad, the owner’s altitude is extremely nasty and unable to communicate. The sushi was also not fresh and darkened. Thee owner doesn’t allow the foods to be returned or replaced. She even threatened to call the police.

2022-05-03Soup was nice and hot and apps were good. Sushi I ordered spicy girl roll and peanut avocado. They brought 3 rolls to me and the third one I didn’t order got me sick. Was so bad I’m was puking on my way out the door. Best part is they said I can’t waste food and will be charge. Literally told her are you kidding me the food is bad I’m going to puke on this table. If it wasn’t for that mystery roll that was rotten I would have eating everything. I see some people who posted were at there around the same time with the same problem with the owners trying to force unwanted food. Never going back

2022-04-11The sushi here is fresh and very tasty. It’s all you can eat, but it tastes good. Only complaint I have is the tight seating and loudness. Servers are nice and very quick to get you what you need, very efficient.
