This is a complicated place to review. I really think this hotel has so much untapped potential. But for now, its not up to par. I asked an employee for a bit of history. This location has apparently changed hands often. Perhaps the current owners will be the ones to invest in desperately needed room fixes and upgrades.The only actual lack of cleanliness was in my sisters room, where she found hair still in a non-working shower. The diverter was apparently stuck. But regardless, hair from the prior guests should just not be happening at a Ramada.Other than that, the spacious rooms with nice tree views, rather than Yonkers roadways, just seemed unclean. They are really desperately in need of some TLC. The headboards had old unidentifiable stains and minor graffiti that you would think a Ramada would immediately repair in some manner. The hallway carpets were worn as were some of the towels. The towels were, however, clean, relatively soft and the bath towels were large. The closet had a few small hooks but no hanging bar or hangers. Its a shame because it could really be a charming room. The bathroom surfaces looked to have years of cigarettes burns in my room. My sisters bathroom had nicer counters, but then she had the shower issue.On the bright side, the lobby is well cared for, the continental breakfast area was charming, every staff member was very friendly and ready to assist during our brief overnight stay.The beds were comfortable. I slept well. There is an outdoor pool that was not yet open, but is supposed to be opening soon. Each of our rooms had a working microwave, mini fridge, and cup sized coffee maker. The one in my room was missing the little tray to hold the complimentary coffee, but Im certain they could have given me one with a tray if I had made the request.This is a great location to meet with others and then share a ride for an evening out in Manhattan. But, before lots of people try it out, the owners really must invest in the appearance of the individual rooms. Most people are not going to take a closer look if their room feels used.Still, I think this is a Ramada to check back on. If the ratings start to go up, the location is great.

ABSOLUTELY disgusting. Got off the elevator and the hallway carpet was the filthiest I’ve ever seen in my life. It didn’t seem like it had ever been vacuumed or cleaned. They advertise this hotel as 100% smoke-free but clearly that doesn’t include marijuana. I was getting high off the fumes in the hallway. Still hoping that the room might be better since we paid like $140 for this dump, I go in the room and it’s even worse! The ceiling paint is chipping off. The wallpaper is peeling off. The furniture is supposed to be a cream colored but it’s really dirty. I could not even sit down on the chair. We left immediately. We were told we could get a refund but we’re still trying to get that money back. This place isn’t even good enough for a short stay. I don’t know how this place is still open. Stayed at another hotel nearby…Courtyard…a MILLION times better AND cheaper !!

Convenient location. Quiet. Passageways could be cleaner. Rooms tidy. Did not like hotel layout. Was in section of hotel, detached from rest of hotel. Very inconvenient in 18 degree weather to go for continental breakfast, for two days. Otherwise, no issue.

This place was pretty below average. The room smelled of old wet rug, cigarette smoke, and urine. Had to air out the room (open window, AC on high, Bathroom active vent on, and front door open) for a while, to get it livable. Now this is not expected to be a 5star hotel, however our room was in disrepair and pretty beat up. The fixtures had a film of dirt and grease on them, the wallpaper was peeling all over the room, the furniture looked like they got it out of a dumperster. The closet had no hangers in it. And worst of all, the smoke detector was non-operational. We made the best of it, as we were only going to stay the night (a baby stay-cation).I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone for any reason.

Positive: Cleaning staff work very hard to make this place livable. I guess that the owners are not willing to invest in this property. Possibly the worst room that I have ever rented. Negative: Room 334s phone broken. TV would suddenly have scrambled pixels. Furniture and rug worn and stained. Wallpaper pealing in two locations. No hangers in closet. Toilet slow draining and finally overflowed. Room reflects badly on your rating system.

This was probably the worst hotel that I have stayed at. There was a bad smell in the room and in the corridors. Carpet in room was spotted with some sticky black stuff. There were holes in the wall covered over with tape. Internet was too slow most of the time to download even a single web page. Another guest was having trouble with the elevator, so I used stairs instead. Door lock for room would not open even after key card was accepted; had to struggle for several minutes each time to get in. Breakfast very basic, parking adequate.

Decent hotel to party with your girl. A definite upgrade from the Gateway! But the price for a queen room is not much less than the Marriott on Executive Blvd. Overall was happy with my stay and most importantly my bff with benefits who Im trying really hard to get out of the friend zone with was comfortable and enjoyed her stay.

Had an unfortunate situation during my stay. I checked in Tuesday and paid for 2 days. I told the agent that I may extend after 2 days. He said my credit card information will be on file and tell the desk when I decide to extend. Wednesday night I went to the desk and asked to extend until Saturday morning. I gave the clerk my card however did not understand when the clerk the day before said my card information will be on my account to charge if I extend. However that was fine. I clerk Wednesday night explained that Thursday will be a $99 charge and Friday a $150 charge, with taxes $281. My card was then charged. Several minutes after I left the desk I checked my checking accounting and discovered my card was charge twice for $281. I went back to the desk and was told by the agent that he only charge once. When I showed him the evidence through my phone he blamed the computer system for doing it. I then explained how important it was to get the overcharge back in my account because I was expecting to use that amount within the next few days. He claimed he would call his manager and to get back with him. I came back and was told it would be refunded with 2 to 3 days. The next morning I spoke to the main manager who same the same thing. i responded how the recent agents actions or the system may put me in a bind and inconvenience. All he could do is apologize however nothing that may help with the rate due to their mishap. Later the manager called with and gave me a code confirming the cancelation of the overcharge.Saturday I had to extend one more night and the overcharge had not hit my account yet. It was expected to be Monday. This caused me to overdraft my account due to their negligence. Yonkers is a great city. Now when I came back next month I will not stay in a Wyndham

The place needs some renovations, carpet is filthy and paint peeling off the wall. I took my own sheets and towels with me. Even though the room said non smoking I could still smell smoke in the room and when I looked out the window to balcony you could see a lot of cigarette butts on the ground. No hangers was provided for your clothing

Positive: Location is on top of a hill. No easy access for anyone who does not belong there. Negative: You get what you pay for! No easy access to food. Breakfast was not as presented in pics. Room had wallpaper peeling and burn holes on the bed throw. Non-smoking hotel with marijuana smells all weekend. Vending machines down so no drinks. Never again!
